 Ok, its been a whirlwind since I purchased my Hemi charged Black with red stripes by the hood, It has been so fun driving this car all over town.. I love the Sirius sound system and blasting Heavy Metal Rock tunes.. Its what the music was m, when years ago.. The Muscle Cars were king!! the late seventies and early eighties.. What a time to witness some of the greatest muscle cars ever.. DODGE CHARGER- CHALLENGER , YOU had Road Runners , and Mustangs , Camaro's , Fire birds, etc.. It was the greatest era in music ,. too, Van Halen, Motley Crew, Aerosmith , Bon Jovi, Metallica.. Just a greatest hits of music. Theirs nothing like a suped up race car with loud ear bursting music and great power at your heels. Lets just say Its so emotional and attitude uplifting to drive this car. Well anyways,,. Today I has a great time driving this car all over the Inland Empire at speeds over 120 .. I know , that's illegal , but hey this car wants to go fast and it does.. But the greatest thrill was picking up my young son Marty at his school and the reactions from his classmates was over the top.. cool car.. ohhs and ahhs... and of course big smiles from everyone.. Its a car the demands your respect and attention.. I love it.. and the feeling I have is awesome.. I feel like I can rule the world.. and kick ass. Its like I want to go to a bar and start a fight..or drag race every race car out there.. I have seen Corvettes , Mustangs , and Camaros'' run on me,, only to see them in my rear view mirror after i kicked it into high gear.. This car can fly.. and its stable while its doing it. I know wifey is scared to death with my attitude and ego,, that I'm going to do harm to myself and others,, but so far so good. But I did see a car a Toyota truck crash ,, because he or she was looking or staring at my car for too long while driving.. sorry about that. I mean " Black Beauty " is what I call my dream scream muscle car,, and it demands attention, especially when I turn on the amber yellow fog lights , with my regular head lights.. It makes a distinct reaction from people. I also got a thumbs up from the burrito guy , that said : i love your car" and another thumb's up from a 1972 challenger owner.. Man, its great to be part of the muscle car family.. and to think i waited a whole lifetime to live this life.. Oh well.. its ok,, I'm still young , i have another 40 or 50 years of driving ,, I hope!! lol.. But for now... I'm loving that loud exhaust when i step on pedal , and the oohs and ahhs, from people in other cars,,. Just wait.. until I get my " DIABLO WHEELS,, WITH THE BLACK AND RED ACCENTS.. STAR PATTERN.. with that ,. The BLACK BEAUTY will be complete.. I'm so hyped right now.. I feel like I have the greatest car in the World.. but I'm sure all MUSCLE CAR enthusiast feel that way.. But anyways.. I'm so happy , I decided on the SUPED UP HEMI CHARGED AMERCAN MUSCLE , A BLAST FORM THE PAST DODGE CHALLENGER.. It has exceeded all my expectations and desires and I expect many years of cruising , dragging and showing off the " BLACK BEAUTY!" Its been a crazy week.. and I expect more crazy ass stories regarding " BLACK BEAUTY!!"' STAY TUNED..THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012...

My Ride Rules..
  Theirs a cable show on Speed TV , that pits 4 car enthusiasts who judge one another cars , by driving and examining all the features of the car. Performance, styling , interior and personality of the owner as it relates to the car. 
 As in my Case I was in search of that Muscle Car, I always wanted one , ever since I was that skinny kid growing up in South San Diego , attending Montgomery High school home of the Mighty Aztecs..!! Well anyways.. I have been fascinated with Mustangs , Camaros's , Firebirds, GTO'S , CHEVELLES, EL CAMINO'S , MOPAR CARS,, CHARGERS , CHALLENGERS.. 
 I have test driven Camaro's , Mustangs , Chargers , and last by not least Challenger. To be honest all the cars I test drove were amazing in one way or another , they all had their special qualities,. The Mustangs power and aggressive look , just says Fast and Furious!! The Charger is a big car with a big attitude,, and Maybe too much Car for me, like the Mustang.. tremendous power and a awesome feel on the road.. As for the Camaro, I was intrigued when I saw the Movie Transformer , and the many Mags I bought , will showcase how Much I researched and told all my friends that was the car,.. 
 But then came FAST FIVE.. and My Beautiful wife,, Mona , asking me at the end of the movie.. You guys recall.. 
 Ok,..They are on a white sands beach, sunny , cool and here comes Vin Diesel , rolling up in a BLACK SUPERCHARGED , WIDE BODY DODGE CHALLENGER , and the Love affair or intrigue began.. or so I thought.. as in life , many times what we like often times get lost in translation. Because soon after the movie ,, I went back into my Camaro and Mustang debate.. 
 But at work ,, I started seeing alot more Challengers , and what I liked about it was its a Muscular Car with sex appeal and a fantastic interior.. But I was a outsider looking in.. 
 St Patricks day 2012.. I get a loan approval from my bank and off I go with Wifey. I was excited and loud I was approved , but hey for those that know me.. I'm louder than hell , larger than life personality.. Love or hate me.. I keep parties live and events happening. At times I am the Party,.ok.. back to my story.. We decide to go to Dodge dealer in .Temecula. At first I drive by and wifey gets upset,, Are we going to at least take a test drive.. So , of course I turn around and with my bad ass lifted truck park my truck and walk up to the front.. But one salesman doesn't seem to care , while the other one ., Glenn.. decides to introduce himself., but we both are sizing one another.. We ask a few questions and a moment of silence , its awkward .. But finally I give in and decide to get this negotiation thing going.. he shows me the whole lot. makes comments and I scope out the whole deal.. The problem is , its a cold, dreary St Patricks day and the cars don't look as awesome as I thought they would.. But I tell the sales guy.. I want the top of the line V8 , with leather seats and the ultimate audio system and of course it has to be Jett black.. Well he takes us to the end of the line so to speak, and I look at the sticker price and this car has everything i wanted. The Pitch black color , the body kit and spoiler and the booming to the beat stereo system.. But it's....
  The test drive , that wins it for me.. Like I said earlier I have been searching for that muscle car., I have test driven the SS CAMARO , THE GT MUSTANG, THE CHARGER,,, and they all had some qualities i liked , they just seem to be lacking something. Then, I took the Challenger for a spin, I raced down this prepared track by the dealership and did 360's circles and fast paced romps over water puddles without missing a beat or sliding.. I then take it to the freeway and race down the freeway and its the ultimate ride,, I'm sold.,, and I can tell wifey is wowed,, so i drive it back to the lot, almost colliding twice into cars leaving the lot.. I guess I'm a bit hyped about riding in a very luxurious ride and comfortable seats. I'm ready to deal.. But wait.. I and wifey have one of the toughest negotiations in car dealership history..lol.. I mean this isn't my first or last car negotiations , so my experience and perhaps my patience , and having a check gives the buyer,the advantage,, I mean at one point the sales guy said,, Why are you guys giving me a hard time.,? What do you want the car for free? Well ultimately he calls in the sales manager and we finally make or seal the deal.. I must say for everything I got , lifetime warranty on parts , with a 100.00 dollar deductible for labor.,. I have the deal of the year. I also plan to get their top of the line protectant service done to the interior and exterior of the car, which will protect the car for many years.,. 
didnt even feel like I was going that fast.. I park in in my garage and that night I spend wiping the excess rain water on the car and seat and listen to my stereo.. and watch my dvd .. I'm so thrilled that " My car rules!! .. Like I said I have driven the Mustang's , the camaro's , the Chargers , and after years of research and and this rainy St Patricks day 2012.. I finally decide to purchase the 2012 DODGE PITCH BLACK  CHALLENGER RT CLASSIC , V8 HEMI POWERED , WITH LUXURY LEATHER SEATS AND A AUDIO , VIDEO SYSTEM THAT RIVALS MERCEDES AND BMW'S..

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS - RELOAD OR REBUILD..??.2012

San Diego Chargers -reload or rebuild?2012.
  The Chargers are entering new territory , so to speak. We all know Norv Turner has been a under achiever with tremendously talented teams.. Now what does he do with a less talented and a team full of holes.. Sure AJ Smith has made more moves than a sailor on deployment at  Thailand Bar .. But for reason,, this team has many weaknesses and he's fighting to save his job. The letting go of Vincent Jackson , is a great risk... and signing a one time Number 1 pick in Robert Meachem , may seem like a good move , but Meachem went from Number one to number 3 , to finally let go by the Saints. Sure he has speed, but he's no Vincent Jackson,. Jackson made many spectacular catches when Rivers has made inaccurate throws.. Meachem has speed , but I dont see him making those types of catches.. and Hoping Gates returns to form and the Young home town threat Vincent Brown, maybe asking too much. I like Malcolm Floyd but he has never played a full season, and I dont expect him to this year. As for the running game , letting go of Tolbert maybe the biggest blunder of all, because not only was a battling ram blocker , but a strong runner when Ryan " I get hurt " Mathews,, decides to take games off. The signing of Mclain as a full back blocker and occasional runner is a good move , but trusting Mathews to play healthy and consistent is alot to expect. The loss of Dirty Dielman and Mcneil may be too much for this offensive line to handle.. Rivers is great when given time,. but if he's rushed like lasy year.. he makes terrible decisions and to be honest he's one great hit away from being injured. Recall he has bad knees and other ailments that affected his play last year. The defense is really questionable , you have a aging corner Jammer and a inconsistent one in Cason.. The Safeties are average at best , and the linebackers are mediocre. Larry English is Buster Davis revisited,, AJ Smith is desperate for results and Norv Turner must be secretly thinking . " I couldn't win with great talent , how the heck am I going to win with less? Yes, those two men are desperate and hoping players step up , like Brown , and Mathews,, I feel they need to sign Eddie Royal as a third down screen pass threat and perhaps look for another speedster running back that can play special teams. 
  The Chargers are no longer the favorites in the West and SUPER BOWL CONTENDERS.. its been two straight years of no playoffs and the way I see it , its gonna be a struggle to win the west.. The Kanasas City Chiefs and Denver broncos have younger and more talented defenses. The Raiders if Mcfadden is healthy and Palmer has a good year. I see the Raiders being Major contenders in the division. The Chargers saving grace is Philip Rivers, if he plays well , the team has a chance , but with a less than talented defense and a offense that has removed JACKSON , SPROLES , TOLBERT , MCNEIL , DIELMAN,.,.That's alot of talent and experience that is hard to find. The Chargers or should I say AJ SMITH and Coach Turner are hoping Rivers stays healthy and Mathews becomes that elite runner , and gates returns to form.. I see the chargers being a time consuming offense with a solid ground game to keep that vulnerable defense rested to hopefully hold off teams late in the game. This is Smiths last stand.. His retooling , and reshuffling of players has not panned out and his recent acquisiitions dont impress me.. But like life ,, everything is a gamble at times.. As I see it , he banking on Rivers to be that Elite quarterback , despite the losses of Jackson , Sproles , and tolbert.. Good Luck Charger fans.. its alot to ask for... History tells me ,, Mathews will not be healthy enough to carry this ground game and Gates , though spectacular at times is no longer that every down threat he once was,, and Floyd is just too injury prone.. and Vincent Brown is the wild card that may save the team.. But with a aging offensive line and a battle worn quarterback , the idea of winning a division may be harder to attain than most fans can imagine. THE AFC WEST is no longer a weak division, the other teams have shown they can compete and beat the once mighty Chargers.. I still root for the Chargers , but that window for a SUPERBOWL Contender  is done with this team.. AJ Smith and Company are selling the point " We are reloading !" But based on past performances and the AFC WEST OPPONENTS talents.. I see the Chargers in rebuild mode and with that , We may finally see the end of " THE LORD OF NO RINGS " AJ SMITH.. 
  As for the die hard SAN DIEGO CHARGER FANS.. you have been very loyal and optimistic , but reality is , too many bad draft picks,. to many stars leaving without due compensation and a C=head Coach who couldn't win with the most talent in the league at one time , to a team with more holes in the roster than Swiss cheese. But regardless, The True fans will break out their car flags and banners and Jerseys and root for a team , that has lost too many Jersey stars,, Tomlinson, Sproles, Turner , TolbertTHE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012

  Well its that time of the year again, when we all think , we got this? I recall years back I was in Vegas for a Pacquiao fight , while all this March Madness was going on.. I must say Vegas was buzzing , not only for the Pacman fight , but the tournament.. But now its 2012.. and its been a unpredictable year in College basketball.. So , I'm predicting history will be made.. I select the I predict all NO#1 's in the Final four Kentucky , UNC , Syracuse and Mich St will be the reps in the Final Four , my Cinderella team and my upset special is my home town team and former college SDSU AZTECS.. but I feel they will make waves but will lose a close one against UNC, but then again who knows? But if they prevail what a story for SAN DIEGO SPORTS.. oh San Diegans or should i say Chula vistans.. Jessica Sanchez the Mexican-Filipina is a top contender in this years American Idol.. So with a little luck and great performances We may see Champions this year.. Well , fans , break out your stats sheets and research the teams , and make your picks..  Wow,, its seems no matter what I do on duty days,, It's always freaking busy for me.. I thought cool a calm duty day , but  No.. it started out as a easy ride to off base dental in Chula Vista , but then it turned into a delivery to Balboa Hospital , where theirs no parking even at the end of the day. I mean theres reserve parking. But I didn't want to chance it.. So I parked in the parking structure, and made the long walk to BLDG. 1. Of course , when I get there I go to the wrong place and the lady receptionist said , Is that Dolphin blood.,I said no,, It's from my ship and I don't think we are drawing blood from dolphins.. haha. ok.. so I finally get to the right lab.., only to realize the person working the desk has no clue what to do my delivery sample.. They call Mona.. and she takes it form me, and I'm off , I relax for a while , text my wifey and kids and as soon I get back to the base,, I get many calls about picking up a shipmate , so off I go , but I didn't understand the directions., so I return to the boat for clarification.. But it seems I still messed up.. I was supposed to do something , and I didn't.. or they should of told me otherwise.. Its crazy on this boat. I seem to have the worst luck ever when it comes to anuything on this ship.. All I know is time is flying by and soon I will complete my career in the Navy and I can drink and talk shit about all the incidents and adventures in my career. But I must say , this ship has produced some of the weirdest most awkward , and embarrassing moments of my Naval Career. But I laugh , because it seems God have a great sense of humor to put me through all the trials and tribulations of this life.. My life is like a comic book a day time soap opera or some over the top unreal movie.. If I had to title my life it would be " Lean on Me " or Against all odds,, or Pee wee Herman's Big Adventure.. hehehe.. If anything my life provides entertainment to those who read my blogs and stories,, and I'm sure it seems to unreal to believe!! But at times life is stranger than fantasy and I certainly live that wild and crazy life.. Perhaps one day it will make sense , but for now,, I'm enjoying the thrills and pains and crazy endeavors, because its life I love to live and the many adventures I conquer brings me many stories to tell when I get old and grumpy.. haha.. Some one has to live the dream.. or in my case the NIGHT MARE ON ELM ST.. ?? FOR REALS.. UNTIL MY NEXT WONDERFUL EVENT.. TAKE CARE AND DONT WORRY BE HAPPY.. March Madness 2012... Peyton Manning . Free Agent ..
 The Indianapolis Colt Icon is no more!! I never thought I would see the Man play somewhere else. I mean we heard the rumors and the speculations, but its official.. Peyton Manning is released and free to find a new team..
Wow.. What a frenzy this has created, I mean the Biggest name in Free agency is up for grabs.. No bigger news than Joe Montana being traded from the niners to Chiefs , or Emmitt Smith being released.. This event is truly unique. Peyton has always been so much a part of the Colts.
 Now .. its over and the Press conference was classy and emotional.. But now down to business where will he go? My Final four picks and why?
Number one ... Arizona Cardinals .. they play in a dome stadium , like the Colts , they have a SUPERSTAR WIDE OUT FITZGERALD.. They have a young defense that would benefit from a time consuming offense and and have the History of making adjustments.. Example Kurt Warner.. But Having two Manning's in the same league. Conference would be a conflict of interest especially if they played one another in the NFC Championship game , but it makes alot of sense for Peyton to take it.. They are just a quarterback away from being SUPERBOWL CONTENDERS..

Number two ..New York Jets,, They have a great defense and Manning can make any wide outs great. They have a good running game and Rex Ryan would allow Manning control , because Ryan understands his genius and would be a great mentor for Mark Sanchez , if he allows himself to learn from the Greatest.. and What a story two Manning's ruling in New York.. and what a story if both teams made it to the Big Game,. Not only a SUPER BOWL, BUT A MANNING BOWL.. NEW YORK WOULD LOVE IT.. While the rest of us would BARF!! LOL

Number three.. The Miami Dolphins are loaded with offensive talent . Reggie Bush , Best , Brandon Marshall .. and a aggressive and talented defense.. With Manning this would be a dangerous team and a instant contender. Its not a dome arena.. But it could and should work and I'm sure South Beach is already courting the King..

Number four . Well this one has many angles.. The Redskins are known to pay big money and they don't trust Rex Grossman.. This could work , but then again it's a NFC TEAM and it would hinder or conflict with his Baby brothers shot a SUPER BOWL..  Another angle is the Denver broncos.. Sure they have tebow Mania,, But I fell John Elway's still not sure about tebow.. bring in Manning and Denver can be an instant contender to the SUPERBOWL.. they have a great defense and has shown they can beat out the raiders and the fading and aging Chargers.. This is a AFC TEAM and it would not hinder Eli's pursuit of the Big Game. Unless they both Manning's make it to the SUPER BOWL..

MY wild card picks.. the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS... - dome stadium, a young and dangerous team , with a young and aggressive Coach. This could be the Connection Manning would love.. Because he would have full control of this offense and a coach that is motivating and enthusiastic. This could be a Happy Marriage for the Pacific Northwest,. and a Battle in Seattle could take place with every team trying to play in one of the loudest venues in the NFL..

My last wild card pick is the Kansas City Chiefs.. Sorry Matt Cassell. Peyton at 80% is better than you can ever be. This would make sense because the Chiefs are very talented on both sides of the ball and have Play makers on both sides. Peyton has to love the weapons  he would have and of course enjoy the Home field advantage playing in Arrowhead.. The Chiefs , like the broncos have the young and  best defenses in the AFC.. Such a hook up would be awesome.. he also would have his vengeance on the team that has haunted him for years.. The San Diego Chargers.. With the Broncos or the Chiefs, he would have a team that has beaten the chargers lately and erase all those close and heart breaking losses to the Bolts.. For Bolt fans,, They dont want the Broncos or Chiefs get the legend.. Because such moves, immediately dooms the Chargers hopes and dreams of winning the wild wild west.. But Money talks.. and opportunity knocks,.The Broncos have the biggest cap room and the best defense of all the teams mentioned. In my opinion , this could very well happen.. and Tebow would be traded to Jacksonville ,, return home and be the hero , that fan base is looking for.. In return.. The Broncos would be compensated with a ton of future draft picks. Its win , win win. for all involved..
 Bottom line; Who really knows?? I mean the saints haven't signed Drew Brees yet, a long shot,, Manning going to the saints -- his fathers team and a dome stadium with great weapons.. It would work and coming to the South and bring a another SUPERBOWL WIN for the Saints would make Manning , the New King!! One thing is for sure where ever he goes.. Its gonna be the story of the year? Can he play a high level ? Can he win another SUPERBOWL.. ? Can he become the Greatest QBS ever? Manning is a very wise and smart man, I;m sure the choice he makes will work and the NFL is gonna love the story lines this upcoming year... Oh , I cant wait until the season starts.. Crazy week to Calm-- Inspired by another day on the Iron Nickel..

Crazy week to Calm.. 
 Just last week , everything was hectic , crazy and out of control.. I strongly believe you are as strong or weak as your leader. Now under new management .. Things are working out. Last week my group of guys were running around trying to get things done.. Now,, after our safety inspection and great reviews, Times on board are good, but theirs always tomorrow. On a Ship , things change day to day , even hour to hour. It just depends on the events going on.. As for now we are in a calm before the storm.. Because we are expecting one of our past presidents,, Jimmy Carter to make a visit to our humble ship.. The preps for his visit has been exhausting,, painting , cleaning , more painting , more deep cleaning,, its a endless routine ,, all sailors know all too well. But it is gratifying after that crazy week of organizing , cleaning and the such.. We get a great inspection review.. But like I said,, their are more to come and like a good leader ,, I must prepare myself and the troops to keep the pressure going. If theirs one thing I notice about my troops is that they like me and when I ask them to do things , they do show up and do it!! But at times I wonder about them.. But as my days are dwindling on board and my career as a sailor is taking its final run,, I must say its gratifying to see my lectures or inspirational speeches take over,.,. I know all of them will become better sailors and I will be better prepared for my next career, perhaps as a mid- level supervisor leading people to work.. I do love that  leading people.. I'm not very good at meetings or discussions or what. I like running the deck plates and working and supervising people that run the show.. As for now a successful inspection , but it's only Monday , I expect craziness to get cranked up before the week is done.. But for now I will take this clam , great day , because those types of days have been few and too spread out. Perhaps is the clam before the storm.. and once again I will overcome and get the job done.. of course with all the drama . and complaints that come with this job.. The Best watch in years .. Inspired by my watch standers....

The best watch in years.. Yep.. I have stood many watches with many types of people and personalities.. But tonight was the best! We stood a vigilant watch and we also prepared ourselves for many scenarios. Like for example " What would you do in case this came up?" We all had similar views except the one guy.. Theirs always that one guy that rides a different wave length.,. But it did make for some emotional responses , especially from me. When it comes to enforcing rules and regulations , I'm a stickler if it involves me.. But when something does not affect me ,, Why bother? But then again , We need to enforce all the rules ,, But what if the Big Boss violates the rules.. Then what ? Well a good watch stander , enforces the rules no matter what ? But then again ,, Rules and the reality of life often times cant co exist. I mean if your mama was speeding and you pulled her over., Would you give her a ticket? Well , legally you should , but you know full well it would cause issues with that relationship.. especially With the enormous amounts of fines that go with tickets.. I would not because of the relationship issues and think about it,, Everyone speeds,, I'm sure I can get another fool speeding or breaking the law in no time.. Am I right? So my point is,, standing long watches with people with many insights , back grounds and ideas , make you find out alot about people.. For example.. You really don't know people unless spend time with them. and you ask questions about back grounds and life issues. Bottom line.. We all have issues and we all deal with problems.. Its the person that knows how to react and respond that makes that person able to cope with the many obstacles and mysteries of life. No one has the true blue print to living a wonderful , stress free life.. Its seems something always goes wrong.. your health , your emotions. your debts affect how you live your life!! If anything standing watch with this group made me realize ,, alot of people have different perspective's on things. But the bottom line is ,, We all want to live a happy life and not make waves.. When I was younger I always wanted the attention,, Now that I have been through that stage.. Right now .. I want it at times , but mostly I just want to finish out my career and start my new life, whatever that might be? Like i said earlier I have stood many watches , but this one was fun,, so to speak.. The discussions about politics.. religion, loves, marriage , divorce,, deployment stories were fun , exciting and revealing !! it seems when some one hears the stories of others ,, it sometimes sounds to good to be true.. adult fantasy land,, the Guam clubs,, the Australian trips. the Sand box , the fights, the arguments , the long underway periods, This group of watch standers , felt it and lived it.. We all knew .. what we all went through.. and at times we realized we are just humans trying to live.. Sad but true.,.. all of us do want needs to be done.. harsh words,, mean looks, hard line questions and instructions is what drives us in our professional lives,, while our personal lives are often times keep to ourselves.. The lesson tonight , is we all have our own stories to tell and our perspective's on life is different at times. But one thing we all agreed upon is that we all want to be happy and enjoy the riches of life.. Tonight was just a revelation of our inner thoughts and ideas of how we want to live.., But because life often doesn't go as we plan,, we all discovered that we do want needs to be done to live and survive.. Nothing is easy in life,, and sometimes its cut throat to get what you want.. Theories , ideas, are romantic , but true life is brutal , cut throat and often times heartless to all of us.. But at least for one night we came together and share our insecurities and our ideals ,,and discussed  how the world should be..? Reality is ... The power of greed and power over comes the ideals and what is the proper thing to do..
