Life is unpredictable.. inspired by the untimely death of Actor Bill Paxton..

   Today's passing of Bill Paxton was untimely and sad because we all knew him in Tombstone  as Morgan Earp...U571. as LT CDR Mike Dahlgreen ,, or atleast I do. Maybe I aging myself, but this holds more meaning because he was only 51 and I'm 52.. so when someone dies in your era so to speak it makes it more meaningful.. 
 Everyone or at least alot of people think surgery is common and safe, but that's not true people can die from the simplest forms of surgery . Its the complications, after wards, infections, body rejecting the procedure , bacteria , germs etc.. So when some one famous and loved for his compassion and love, it takes another perspective.
   My point is Life is unpredictable, we all think , believe we will live forever or at least a long time, but things happen.. shit happens.. Like car accidents, plane crashes, drive by shootings, drive drivers , drug using drivers, mentally ill crime sprees. If anything every breath we take , every move we make should be loved and cherished. In the Military I have seen people come and go at a moments notice.. It makes you appreciate what you have or don't.. I used to worry about the future , but now I appreciate the present and be good to people.. I know some people irritate us , frustrate us? But bottom line, we are just trying to get through life , because life is so fast . if you don't take time out to smell the roses or enjoy what each day brings. Saying Hello to people , smiling and making people happy should be our goals in life,, But we think about bills, we think about our kids , our car trouble , our pets , our house etc.. Hurry hurry to worry , worry... crazy but its the life we live especially in California.. we have the fancy homes, the cars , the clothes, the guns, the malls, etc.. We want to work hard to play hard ,we do things to feed our needs or so called needs. But many times we get lost in the Rat race of trying to out do one another.. In the end it doesn't matter what we have or had when life is over.. Its your legacy its your image or perception people will remember you..
 As for me.. I just want to touch people either through my many you tube videos , or my blogs and if I can make you smile ,think , learn, motivate or inspire one person , my legacy is in tact. I write blogs for therapy , it helps me fight off boredom or even depression , at times, because Like you I hate hearing or reading about useless murders , useless crimes against humanity , I'm tired of the disrespect and the evil around the world.But I just pray and hope good will overcome, But even the most optimistic person has to wonder about today's world. But like the untimely passing of Bill Paxton, I have a new perspective on life. Its that because life is unpredictable,, you have to enjoy life and do what you want to do ,whether it pleases your loved ones or not. Because we all are searching for happiness and meaning to life and to me its simple , be good to people and help them .. I like to think karma follows karma , and you will find a way to overcome the problems and issues in life. 
  To the Bill Paxton family if some how some way this gets back to you, I want to wish you well and May God bless your family , its a tough time in your life and it will take time to heal if ever. I know when My mama passed many years ago... It hurt me , and still does when I think of her. But I try to keep her legacy alive by being a sweet person like she was and that way I know .. I lived my life the way she wanted it to be..I'm not perfect . but I like to think I look to improve myself daily and look to advise my boys to be men and try their best. At times I'm disappointed with them but I keep parenting them because that's what true parents do.. For those thinking about having kids or have them already , please keep that in mind.. be a parent when need be and be strong for them. I know its not easy , but our wisdom and life experiences is what helped us make it in life.. Pass on those those life lessons to them so they can learn. Until my next blog.. remember life is unpredictable and you never know , so be happy and share happiness with your family and friends.

A day at the Out door Gun Range Corona CA...
   First off.. Always practise good gun safety.

Never transport guns loaded .
Never point a weapon at anyone unloaded or not..
Never goof around or not pay attention at range.

Ok.. I took my boys out to range to test out my New Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun... 
For my boys it was their first time and what a blast they had. The smiles, the excitement they had as they loaded the gun and fired was priceless. I know how can boys enjoy a simple act of shooting.. Well. for alot of guys.. alpha male or not.. Its the thrill of pulling a trigger and hitting targets. its the challenge of doing better each time at the range. For me. its surreal , and enjoyable to be in nature under the sun.. and just unloading rounds of gun fire. The sights of seeing a target getting shot to shit or shreds and the sounds of rapid fire gun fire is so exciting.. And just hearing others fire out their shot guns or AR'S is fun too. Today was a crowded day at the range but I didn't lose faith I was the last group to go shooting and oh what fun I had. 
 My views on the Moss Berg " Maverick 88" 12 Gauge shotgun is its simple , easy and fun to use. The kick back from each round is bit painful , but fun. My boys enjoyed emptying out my ammo can of sht gun shells. from bird shot to buck shot. I will say this.. The holes made by the buck shot and bird shot is not something I would ever want to feel. But its amazing see the damage those types of ammo can do.. But back to the gun. It shot effectively and I was very pleased with the trigger action and pump action. It shot consistently and with great accuracy and power. Except fro my hip shot where I missed the  targets  badly..Its not true about just point the shot gun.. You have to still aim to hit a target.. I know I tried it.. In the Military I always aimed , because thats wat your taught. But today I thought I would free lance. I also realized , the shotgun is easier to load than a pistol and has devastating effects when used properly.. But I know my next gun purchase will be a Ar or a rifle used for Long distance shooting.. I know I'm addicted to guns for now and It looks like I'm gonna buy guns at a faster rate .. Like ...every other month? ok maybe not but I'm looking forward to my next gun purchase and my next gun range day. Spring break for my boys is coming 2017.. That's looks like a great day to go shooting. I know Saturday's are the busiest days and Sunday's are better if you want to shoot longer, but I picked a Saturday because its was my sons  day off from work and school.. 
   Now that I have my home defense shot gun and blasted out 100's and rounds on it. I feel very proficient and confident I can shot the hell out of intruders into my house.. and teaching my kids how to shoot makes me feel more at ease ... that they can pick up my guns and shoot and stop a threat .. which is the law in California.. ONLY SHOOT TO STOP  a threat .. but a Shot gun blast to the chest will not only stop a threat. but kill the person.. Which is not what gun owners want but are ok with the facts that a well placed shot to the kidney , stomach or chest will kill someone.. I know it sounds barbaric and .. it is.. But we live in a very different world today.. Listen to the news.. People killing cops. themselves . loved ones.. etc.. so Don't be naive into thinking a criminal will not shoot you.. Because chances are they are high on drugs and desperate to get money , valuables or what not .. to fix their need. For me.. I like shooting because it gives me peace of mind knowing , by training for unexpected events.. I can do it.. and the only way to do that is go to the range and practise.. Practise makes perfect.. I practise combat loading , rapid fire shooting and moving and locating different targets at different angles.. I try to simulate a in home attack , by have close distances and varied angles.. My boys and I had alot of fun and we are looking forward to my next gun purchase and when that happens I will have a review on that Weapons systems..
  In Summary ;
The Mosberg Maverick 88 Pump action Shotgun 
1- is a simple and reliable shotgun 
2- Its accurate and effective at close range and distances further than 30 feet. The damage at those ranges were very evident in the target patterns.
3) I chose the short barrel shotgun because I didn't want a long barrel to bump into walls or doors. 
4) Lstly , the gun was fun to shot and my biys are proficient at using the shotgun for home defense. 
I will strongly recommend the Mossbery shot gun because it was easy to use and effective in hitting my targets. You have to aim.. the myth you don't need to aim is bull shit.. Hollywood drama.. Learn to use weapons and practice at the range is the only way to be a safe and effective shooter..

My last words.. in today's unstable times,, having a weapon is needed to have peace of mind and protection for your family.. Calling 911 is still advisable , but reality is the cops will not get there in time if your attacked.. For me..  rather have a fighting chance for my family than ,, be another stat for the FBI.. Know the laws.. and protect oneself.. In California,, basically if you have a means to escape without being harmed.then do so,, But if time is the essence and family is asleep.. MY take.. respond to threat and deal with the intruder. and remember..  For home defense.. A Loaded gun is a fact.. looking for ammo, in the dark under stress is too much to ask.. Loaded shotgun is okay as long as you don't chamber a round.. and always use the safe lever.. But think about this a unloaded weapon is useless under pressure.. seconds can turn up very fast.. that's why its important to know your weapon and don't listen to others. Listen to yourself.. For me I like smaller handle , short barrel guns because I want to light weight effective weapons systems like a smith and Wesson shield or a Mossberg Shotgun.. 

 Rent a gun and see how it operates , before you buy,, and do research on guns on google or you tube.. They are many videos on all the weapons you can imagine getting for home protection , gun range, competition etc... Its a fundamental American Right to own guns and I respect all gun owners and those who don't , But you should look into shooting because ,, it makes you respect guns and what they can do.. Gun owners know that guns can be dangerous.. But they also know to be safe around them. Until my next gun range day or gun purchase have a great day and night !!

America- A Nation that needs Self Examination.. Based on life Experiences..

United States of America - A Nation that needs Self _examination...

     United States of America - Nation that needs self examination. In my humble opinion , The citizens of America , are in dire need of  respect for one another. This lack of self respect and respect for others is the core of all the issues and problems with America's divided states of affairs. 
  For example , the Presidential election. Just because your candidate doesn't win , it doesn't mean you say and do hurtful things to people or property. ? Think about if you lose , that doesn't give you the right to promote anarchy , lawlessness, criminal activity , vandalism, violence ,etc.. And you expect other Americans to respect your ideas or existence when we see Americans break or destroy property, create havoc ,blocking freeways , road or entrances to Political events. Is that really civilized ways to promote ones ideas. In fact I have researched protesters saying that deaths and killings will happen , because that's the only way to get change? Maybe perhaps , oh really? How does lawless actions and preaching hate and discontent and having no respect for the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION.. 
     Another example of lack of respect.. Presidential candidate Hilary Clinton, she didn't even have the respect greet her supporters , after losing election. Now how selfish how insensitive and how ungrateful someone has to be , to not even acknowledge those workers and supporters that gave their life , their emotions , and she just disregarded them like nothing. I found that so disgusting and most of all . not any qualities of leader. A true leader leads by example, if anything she has shown , qualities a a leader , a leader has to relate to people has to have a compromising heart because you cant appease everyone , like Obama did,, if anything I respect a strong leader that has a strong , solid view point WHO is strong yet fair. but has the sense of compromise. Because we all know all presidents have to work with congress and senate to get anything done.. If anything Hilary has preached that its every ones Else's fault she lost the election and she cant believe the Media ? Well if you really have faith and love for America , you have to believe in the Constitution , the respect of law. the American flag.. I just see too much disrespect in America , among groups , religions , citizens.. and That's why America is so divided, so feisty and so vulnerable?
   America is vulnerable because we are fighting one another , protesting , creating instability in the country.. Its making America weak, vulnerable to attack and very uneasy for many Americans who have fought for America in foreign wars.. Whats scary is the Eneny ,, is just waiting and watching , they are building man made islands around the word, they are building arms and amassing army's to make a move.. I know do I have facts or is their truth to his statement , just google it or you tube it.. Its there.. Our President is now responding to these potential threats. By working on immigration controls. border walls .. By having building a stronger military and homeland security.. For me, having protection for our nation is more important than being inconvenienced at the borders. For me , if it creates a longer wait at the borders, I'm ok with that, if it catches or prevents enemies of the state from invading America and setting up shops, or cells.. and Believe it or not they are out there and it might not seem feasible but , these cells are recruiting in America, using social media, and social gatherings to promote their ideas and hatred for America. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory and a paranoid veteran of foreign wars. But its out there, believe it or not. We have crime every day and we cant predict where and when will it happen , the same goes with Terrorist cells. We hear and see the tragedies in the news daily , about mass shootings , bombings and deaths in America. The war on gang violence , on drug smuggling , illegal immigration , the war on terror , the war on counterfeit items coming into America.. is a long and tough fight. The American resources for the Military and homeland security is at a full capacity level. And now they local law enforcement has to deal with protesters against the new administration , has made local security vulnerable. Because if law enforcement has to deal with protesters and marches,, the criminals are not taking days off, they are listening to police scanners they are observing where police is at, response times.. Today's criminals and terrorist  have access to police scanners, reports , cameras, etc to see what areas are not being policed.. So.. that's whats happening in America. All these divisiveness , all this divisiveness , has made America vulnerable. If anything ... we need to unite and get America .. strong again... But we have to respect everyone ideas, views and thoughts and work together to make America strong again.. 
  But . if all these protesting and lawlessness on the streets .. has made America weak and I'm not comfortable with this aspect in America. I'm not comfortable with the unstable borders on the Canadian and Mexico side. It has shown one person can blow out embassies , can bomb running races Boston marathon )in America , can have planes crash into buildings..9/11  I know this is alarming and scary but this is how I see America and many Military and veterans see how vulnerable , watching people burning flags or failing to respect the flag is disgusting. We have seen many of our brothers in arms die in combat , and the flag represents their sacrifices..so for us , not respecting the flag is totally unacceptable and we don't apologize our anger for those that have no respect for that symbol. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech , but not respecting a flag is horrible and sets the basis of instability and promotes anarchy which is happening in America.. We the people need to  self exam oneself and get out heads our of our asses and egos and lets unite and fight the real enemies of the state, like hateful terrorist and enemies that find our way of life deplorable.. We must rise above our differences and support our new President Trump.. for the Office he holds and Lets Get America strong.   May God bless our nation and lets respect our laws and lets get together to teach our kids and youths that respect for one another should be the basis in building a stronger America.. But if we don't.. the worst enemies could be US.. and that's more scary than any foreign enemies or issues.. Its a big challenge to fix America.. but its not going to happen if our resources are being used for lawlessness and destruction of property.. Lets hope we haven't created our worst enemy? Our selves? We need more jobs, we need protection of our borders, we need better armed Military , law enforcement and law abiding citizens, we need to rebuild America and teach our kids that being a law abiding citizen will make the American Dream possible. Its a long fight to get america strong , buts I still believe America is the greatest nation with people who care and together I pray we all band together and Make USA strong again!!

More Personal Security Tips Based on Life experiences..

First of all thank for taking time ti read my blogs. I like sharing knowledge with people because if it saves your life or prevents you from being a victim.. I'm happy..
  Now tips.

1) When leaving or coming home vary your route , leave at different times and coming home taking different streets if possible. Why.. Thieves , stalkers are looking for patterns of behaviour, if your a clock work on time person. Easy target. if you can leave your house and circle back looking for suspicious cars or people, take notes , take pictures.make notations, about strange cars or what. 

2) Be aware of your surroundings, if someone is tailing you , don't go home, circle around even drive to police station and hang out , call 911 , if need be and take notes of make model , color of car and people inside..

3) On person carry pepper spray,, its sold at car dealerships , gas stations etc. and place it on our key ring.. It wont stop a attack  but it can save you time to escape or call police.. If you have to fight, use keys to poke eyes or throat and kick the shins toes or hit fast and hard.. Remember there's no rules in real life better to fight then give in.. Because chances are you will be raped , murdered , or what not,, The idea to do what the attacker is total bull shit,, and waiting for police response.. maybe ? But chances are they will be there to draw a line around your body with yellow police tape and be thrown into the many unsolved cases.. So fight , be vigilant and be strong.. Its the only way to survive in life.. 

4) Carry a pocket knives.. by law nothing longer than 4 inches in the United states,, Me, I carry a straight edge knife,, folding knives is not sturdy enough and the time to unfold under stress is too much to ask.. Remember when attacked its unnatural, its scary and its stressful.. I like simplicity.. 

5) If you can study martial arts techniques.. Stay in shape and be confident when walking around.. Dirt bags are looking for the weak. if you look dazed and confused.. Expect to be victimized.. Don't be a stat..Instead be a survivor  be a winner.. Winners never quit and quitters never win!! Have a Strong mind set..

6) Get a CONCEALED CARY WEAPONS PERMIT LICENSE/ CCW...
Once, I know citizens carrying guns,, but think about in states where ccw are allowed , crimes rates are lower and people are less likely to commit crimes if they think you might be armed. 

7) Learn how to shoot weapons, pistols shot guns AR'S.. MANY GUN ranges offer classes and instruction , for me I gained alot of training in the military,. But learning how to shoot is not only practical but fun too. I enjoy shooting guns with my boys because that's what most men and boys like to do.. Learn and be pro active.. Its an American right to bear arms and to protect life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I know I have neighbors that are armed and I'm happy for it..Heaven forbid I have to use a fire arm in home protection but if it comes to family and some scum bag.. Its not even a question. In California.. you have to warn your attacker , and if you have a means to escape, you must take that option, but if you have no choice.. Then stop the threat , and if the attacker dies,, Oh well,, he shouldn't of tried to invade my life.. I know it sounds harsh , but you think criminals really care about  you.. Whats really sad is how we all hear many stories about the American Court System letting hardened , habitual criminals , sex offenders , rapist go after serving short terms only to re offend. To me that's a injustice that needs to be addressed, but for the time being ,, Be vigilant Americans and protect you life and property. KNOW YOUR STATE LAWS.. STAND YOUR GROUND like Florida ,, doesn't apply.. If anything I want people to get trained and be ready for attacker's as much as possible. 

8) create a neighbor watch or know your neighbors.if possible.. Knowing who lives where is very important. My neighbors, they know me as the boxing work out dude in the garage with a German Shepard ,, that is very aggressive when pressed. Oh yea if you can get a dog.. and be good to him or her , they have instincts.. they will bark when something is up.. I'm a light sleeper. so I get up easily and I have my weapons by my dresser,, always loaded and ready to shoot.. I know its not a safe practice , but like I said under stress, you think you have time to put a safety on or off or load a gun in the dark.. Just a thought. But you can follow safety.. 

Lastly , a small flash light( Tactical , with powerful lens power ,, some have different kinds of flickering lights,, can daze a attacker..  can be a weapon too, blinding someone  for a second can give a time to spray them with pepper spray and a nice knife to the throat or groin should stop them. You might say that's barbaric, but if you want to get raped , or molested and murdered or what , so be it. But living through the hell of rape or molesting seems like a life long death sentence..

HOME SECURITY BASED ON LIFE EXPERIENCES..

1) Always lock your doors , and always keep curtains closed when away. Why? Crooks or thieves are looking for easy targets . if you leave a door open.. its easy. for them. Be ware of solicitors , sales people , never open the door. they are casing or scoping your house, if you have valuables that can be seen from the from front door.. They will see that and make note of it.. That's why I never ever answer door for salespeople.. Its the sign of the times in USA , its a scary and unstable world now, we have enemies of the state coming in daily and their brainwashing of people to follow their ways,,, Its a strange happening that some day may lead to troubled and unstable times in America. Be thankful for Veterans and retirees that have fought died and still defending American rights by training and buying and teaching proper gun usage. Its Americans fundamental right to bear arms and protect those that cant or unable. For me.. If I can protect my family and neighbors from criminals then that one less dirt bag in society. I know that sounds mean , but you think crooks and criminals or enemies care about you,, I think not.. So protect one self at all times..

2) Always take note of suspicious cars or people. I have a notebook by my window with binders and take note of all cars and people I don't recognize.. I know it sounds paranoid, but the life you save may be yours if you take those notes.. Its your life and your family , a few moments of details could mean the difference between your life and those low life's trying to ruin yours..

3) Have lights motion detection lights around your house,, I know hows that stopping crime,, Well believe me low life's don't want their actions in full blown lighted views. They are cock roaches scatter when lights come on, they prefer no lights.. so having your property lit,, means you care and looking out for predators that might want to steal your car or other valuables around your house..

4) Don't leave tools or ladders outside ? Simple why leave tools crooks will use to break into your home. keep them locked up and free from entry. I keep mine in the garage .. But if you do store in back yard side yard always lock them up.. That would be stupid and embarrassing someone breaks into your house with your own stuff..

5) Keep Inventory of all your stuff.. pictures too.. This is for police and insurance purposes,,, I know it may seem like a lot of work , initially yes, but once you have this system you simply add to it. I keep a hard copy as well as computer copy .. 

6) Use a alarm co,, ADT , whatever. the few dollars you spend could mean peace of mind.. Its your choice..Protection means prevention Make a crook think twice.. it could mean the difference of being a victim .. Remember low lifes want the least resistance when doing their dirty deeds.. By having locked doors, and security systems and lights.. Thats added peace of mind...

7)Get a big ass dog! Doberman , German Sgephard Rottweiler, Great dane. If they bark even better. Its called deterence.. if a crook hears a dog.. thats a deterrent and if you have more than one.. even better. No crooks wants to deal with a big ass barking dog.. The only way to quiet a dog is shoot it or feed it.. by chances are.. a dog that sees a suspicious person is more likely to bark at it or even bite his ass off.. I know i might get sued.. .. If a crook goes onto ones yard its their ass in my opinion.. and if he or she is get  that guard dog. and have peace of mind,, besides a barking dog can give you warning if trouble or potential trouble coming..

8) Keep tress ad bushes cut to prevent hiding spots.. also plant roes bushes around ones house,, Why? because they have painful pricks that will add more deterrence to your house. if a criminal runs in to onto etc into these bsuhes,, they will be full of pricks,,, how appropriate . pricks for pricks,, he he haha,, 

9) Get training in self defense ,, hand to hand , stick , knives , machetes, Guns , the more knowledge you have the better you have to defend oneself..  Once again peace of mind,, and make sure everyone gets the training in the house.. 

10) Laslty. have a plan.. a panic room... a call back plan, an escape route.. Make sure everyone knows what to do in case of unlawful entry,, Call 911, arm oneself and stay in that room with weapon in hand,, as long as you with police ,, and your in a locked room with weapon you are obeying the laws.. But once that door is compromised by those crooks,,, then fire away and God help you , the rounds you unload is enough ..!! That's why purchase weapons with alot of fire power and ease of use.. Get trained and practise often. Once a month  is what I do for gun range practice. But I also use a empty gun to practice hold stances and trigger pull.  

Always lock your guns and have them in safes.. And always be proficient in any gun you have or own and teach family the safety procedures...

Hello Everyone,, I know telling people what brands of guns to own or what kinds is hard to do. I mean different strokes for different folks. Some want big intimidating guns others small and compact , some multi purpose use. For me , decide for yourself, take into account your training , your back ground , the crime rates in your area etc.. 

ok. Lets begin..

1) a hand gun , pistol is a basic no brainier.. I have  compact , small , lightweight and comfortable 9mm Shield..  Smith and Wesson . it carries 7- 8 rounds and has alot of power in a small compact size. I like it because its can be concealed , and small enough to store And carry anywhere. Its affordable too < I spent 450.oo .. Its easy to shoot and I feel comfortable shooting it in a real life threatening situation.. 

2) a Shotgun, pump action , semi automatic.. why? Because its makes a intimidating sound when you pump it and it doesn't take perfect aim , Just point and shoot and if you use buck shot or what you will have a large spread pattern.. But you also can destroy your house or family if your too reckless. but its a must have in any home defense. 

3) AR-15.. MUST HAVE.. you hear the stories,, criminals don't do things alone, there are multiple intruders , they will have knives , guns , bats or what to ensure if attacked they can repel a attack. Having a gun that gun fire off many rounds and in quick fashion gives you a chance to defend yourselves. and Most rifles of  these types are not heavy and easy to use. Its a fun gun to shoot , if unsure go to gun ranges that offer rentals and you can test it out, Its what I do , before purchasing guns.. This is a must have and Its my next purchase.. Because I want to have that peace of mind and enjoy shooting a fun gun.. so to speak. Always learn about gun safety and get trained.Many gun ranges have instructors that are eager to teach you.. perhaps I will give my own spin on gun safety and whats guns I use and How I use them.. But this is my next gun purchase for sure and it should yours too,.

4)A revolver . ok.. its the old school 6 shooter where you load it by hand or use of speed loaders, the thing about these guns , its basic , its simple and it can be a one stopper, especially you have a 357 magnum.. Remember dirty harry , it had those big ass revolvers and though might not have many rounds or bullets , but a bullet from a powerful gun with special ammo , like hallow points can make self defense .. truly simple and deadly.. If anything. this should be a basic gun to have and learning the basics will help you gin skill and confidence as you progress to more advanced guns. 

the longer the barrel the better range , distance and accuracy you can have , but to each is own.. Look into what you want and research,.

5) The last Gun I  want for my collection so to speak is the Taurus judge or Smith and Wesson Governor,, These are combo guns that can use all kinds of ammo including shot gun load , but in  handgun experience. This could be the cure all for home protection because you can have fire power ,variety and simplicity in one gun. I like this gun because the idea of having shot gun ammo in a revolver is amazing, This is a gun I will buy and give a review in the future .. 

Ok... Glock , Colt , Smith and Wesson , Sig etc.. are the many guns out there , some affordable others over the top,, but you get what you pay for, You buy cheap things you get cheap results and when it comes to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness i;m not going to be frugal in my gun purchases. Oh.. remember gun locks and safes .. and Never heave your weapons loaded. Its unsafe and not wise.. It only takes seconds to load if need be.. But these are my home protection guns and on my next blog I will give my opinion on the Smith and Wesson AR-15 to purchase this weekend.. feb 2017.. Im excited to add this to my collection..   First off I want to say I Love America, despite the Racism, the hatred the gangs , the crime.. I still love what this country UNITED STATES OF AMERICA has done for me.I was able to carve out a nice career in the Armed Forces , receive a nice pension and have rights and privileges not afforded to other people of other lands.. Maybe that's why so many people want to come here legal illegal.risking life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.. 
  Now Number one reason is ...

1. Your right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed in the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States of America. “Use it or lose it.”

2.Bearing arms is the Christian thing to do. Jesus said: “If you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one…” (Luke 22:36 NIV)

3.Its fun , I mean I use it for training and enjoyment , going to a indoor range or outside one gives me and my family a chance to enjoy shooting. 

4. Having guns and training my family about guns gives me added security that I can defend and protect my family and they can too , from invaders , crooks , murderers , rapist etc. Yeas I know you cant just shoot someone if they come into our homes , but you think someone comes to your house invited at odd hours is doing something proper. Ok I will heed a warning , but in the dark and not sure if they will kill you first. I will take my chances defending my family and let my peers decide if I'm in the right!! But without a gun your at the mercy of your intruder and most likely its not going to end well.. 

5. American Courts regularly let violent criminals out into society. So chances are they are not afraid to harm you .. Because the court system or jails are overloaded , over crowded and lack the training to rehab criminals. If anything they learn how to be better killers , or rapist etc.. 

6. For me, its peace of mind knowing I can protect my family , we all know Cops cant be everywhere and waiting for them to help you , may be too late. Its better to have those guns in place and be ready to fight , as a Veteran I took a oath to defend all enemies , foreign and domestic and even though I'm retired , I can can still aim point and pull a trigger on anyone that threatens my family. 

By teaching people proper gun procedures , it enables all of us to be better citizens against crime. I'm not saying toting guns in public or scaring citizens , but by having the training and understanding of guns. you take the fear out of using them. I have no reservations training my family on proper gun usage and safety. I have peace of mind that if something goes down in my house, they will protect one another as well as me. 

For me I hear too many sad stories of elderly or young or alone etc people getting victimized, I know what happens if the attacker gets the gun.. Maybe it will but if your well trained and not afraid.. I don't know anyone fast enough to elude bullets. 

Its a different world out there, we have enemies among us , searching and looking for chances to attack the weak and meek. For me, I consider myself a strong minded , proud American that will defend myself, my family , my friends , my neighbors from attack. Because if you fight back.. YOU WIN.. but if you sit back and wait for law enforcement , you maybe waiting a long time. I rather be judged by 12 than buried by 6.. and be alive than do the right thing and be dead. But that's your choice.. I love to teach people about guns , knives , self defense ideas , because the life you save maybe yours and that's worth fighting for.. 

  These are the reasons I own guns and plan to buy more in the future..  I hope this wakes people up that life is different today.We have haters , we have infidels we have bad people that want to do harm to good people. Its our duty to learn to defend and get rid of these low life's.. if they decide to invade your life or homes. It might sound barbaric , but life is different and many people.. are ignorant or blinded by the realities of life. Make a choice on your own, and protect yourself and family and applaud those that defend their homes and property. I'm not preaching vigilantes. I'm preaching safety .,,, and peace of mind. Well I picked the patriots to win the game 38-21 , the final was 34-28 , in the bowls first over time game.. 
  Pretty good huh? I mean I was 8-2 in the Play offs and picked the Winner. 

  But it was a boring game for 3 1/2 quarters before the Pats finally got it going. The fact the Falcons cold score in the second half helped. But we charger fans saw that this season when the Bolts traveled to Atlanta and beat them in over time. Same Scenario, the Chargers were behind big and needed a shit out second half to win.. Similar scenario broke down on SUPER BOWL DAY, like I said theres no way a SUPER BOWL lets the Chargers come back at home to lose.. and I'm sure the Coach made sure Tom Brady and the bunch heeded his call to come back and win the most exciting super bowl ending in history. I mean 31 unanswered points and shutting out the games best offense is what made this game awesome!! Is tom Brady great , yes , he drove his team from 25 points down to win it in over time and win his 5th super bowl .. Amazing act,, I still don't believe what happened and I saw it on TV.. It was like watching a magician.. you know its happening but your still amazed. My hat goes off to the New England Patriots , they are the most consistent , most productive NFL team in the history of the NFL.. and haters... They are going to be better next year. I wouldn't be surprised they win it all again. They are that great and have a awesome Owner and coach on their side.. Unlike other teams in the league,, chargers.. browns, etc.. have the worst management , coaching and players on board. The truth hurts. but The Patriots have the smartest , wisest and unselfish players in the league, Its all about winning and playing as a team.. and Tom Brady and Coach Beleichick have created a culture of winning , and a aura of invincibility. I know they can be beat , but so far they have won 5 of 7 SUPER BOWLS AND WERE seconds or amazing catches away from winning 7..
    Now will Tom Brady still play ? I say yes,, He wants to be regarded as the greatest ever. and to do that you have to win SUPER BOWLS and have MVP TYPE PERFORMANCES. He wants to play as Long and as hard as he physically and mentally can. He has a chance of winning a couple more before he retires .. and I'm guessing he will. 

   Now that the season is over .. What teams can beat the Patriots next year.. IN THE AFC SIDE,, I only see Big Ben and The steelers.. The Texans have the defense but they need a much better offense. The Broncos have a championship defense , but they need a championship quarter back,. 

On the NFC SIDE.. THE SEAHAWKS have the players and coaching and may do it ,,But I like the Cowboys with their Big 3 .. Zak , Elliot and Dez Bryant.. making their move.. But will lose if they play the Patriots.. but it would be a battle of two of America's team.. The Pats and Cowboys.. the ticket prices wold be crazy for this game.. But for now.. Congrats to the Pats and enjoy it. Because next year will be fun if Big Ben returns to the Steelers, Can The Texans find that qb.. Will the seahawks get their offense fixed or can the Packers get fixed up too. But right now.. I see the Patriots repeating and another great performances by the Brady bunch.. It was a fairy tale ending super bowl.. But I see terrific tom coming back for more and why not? Winning never gets old..?? and they The NEW ENGLND PATRIOTS ... know how to do that many times over.. !!!!Have a great year and lets look forward to the NFL combine , The Draft and Hall of fame game and inductions.. Enjoy the year and get set for another crazy ride in 2017..

ATLANTA FALCONS - HOW THEY CAN WIN..

Based on their weapons on offense . Julio Jones, Sanu , Coleman , Freeman at running backs. The Dirty birds are loaded. Matt Ryan must be more varied on his attack. In fact short screens and passes to running backs could be the x -factor.. The Patriots play a bend don't break defense,meaning they will give up yards but play press and tight coverage in the red zone. The Patriots have lost twice this year and its done by suffocating defense and getting Brady off his mark. In other words The Falcons have to play better defense and play with a lead , they get behind its over. So Matt Ryan , run more for shorter pass routes and score before hitting the red zone . In addition use the runners to burn the clock. Play a solid game with ball control and make no mistakes. The Pats beat teams by pressuring them into mistakes. if theres no play throw it away , take a sack or what but don't force things. Pats live on turnovers on defense. Play a solid game and take it to the end and if you have the ball score but leave no time on the clock. 
Because Brady bunch knows how to go down the field to win SUPER BOWLS.. they have done it 4 times in the Brady era. Good Luck and play with purpose and thought.. 

How the Patriots will win.. 

Well , play smart , mistake free football. avoid costly penalties and play Patriot football . Which is consistent , like a machine like precision and keep the pressure on offenses and defenses. The patriots are the smartest team in the history of the NFL.. They know how to get into opponents head and play psychological war fare. They bait you into penalties and put pressure that make you make mental mistakes like fumbles or picks, or being out of place. The Pats will be calm and collective and know how to handle the Big Game pressure. They will move like machines and make plays. I see the Pats using everyone and making plays as they will score in the 30's or more, If they get into a big lead , this game is over.!! If its a close game , ???The Falcons have a chance,??? but based on history and having the Greatest Coach and quarterback ever..!!! Its hard or stupid to bet against the Patriots. !!!I know the Pats are only 4-4 in the Superbowl. But Brady is 4-2 and lost two SuperBowls with ...dramatic  last minute games to Eli ( krytonite) Manning .. Look for the Pats to play defense and confuse Ryan enough to make mental  mistakes that will change the game.!!!Look for Brady to move his team machine like and bring home his 5 th SUPERBOWL IN 7 TRIES.. AMAZING..!!! but as much as I can calculate and analyze this game , based on players , experience and coaching its really a mismatch.. !!!The Seahawks or even Packers would be a better game based on SUPER BOWL EXPERIENCE AND COACHING STAFF. The falcons have a limited, inexperienced coaching staff and most of all they lost to the lowly San Diego Chargers at home and the Chargers were a pitiful 5-11.. a A TRUE SUPERBOWL TEAM doesn't lose like that.. For example would the Patriots let or allow the San Diego Chargers to do that.. Nope and that's why I'm picking the Patriots and they will have a big game against a happy to be there team with Young players and a emotional coach who will get out coached when it counts and it will make the difference in the game. 

My pick is NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 38- 21..

THE SOURCES 2017 NFL HALL OF FAME PICKS..

 First of off is difficult among the many gifted and talented players to pick and select the best of the best , but I have my criteria.

1) Must have dominated in his era for at least 5 years or longer.
2) Had to set records and standards among his peers and his position.
3) He had to be so dominating , nicknames and reputation followed him.
4) he had that factor of I have to watch him regardless of opponent or situation. 
5) Lastly , he contributed something to the league , whether is style of play , work ethic and affect they had on other teams.. in other words teams made an effort to focus and game plan around them. 


With that here are my choices for the upcoming Hall of Fame class that will be announced today Feb 4,2017 .. 

1) LADANIAN TOMLINSON (LT) I'm biased because I'm a big San Diego Charger fan, and he was the reason I started watching NFL football again.. and the reason My youngest son wants to play football.. His stats speak for themselves. Leads the San Diego Chargers in every running back stat, he broke the all time TD record in a season , that may never be broken , because of the leagues rules on the passing game.. LT was a SAND DIEGO CHARGER 2001-2009 , AND NY JETS 2010-2011. HE was league MVP2006 AND 5 TIME PRO BOWLER..He also reintroduced the stiff arm that helped him break away on his many tds in his career. To me hes a sure HALL OF FAME PICK..

2) DON CORYELL ( AIR CORYELL) ,ST LOUIS CARDINAL 1974-1977. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 1978-1986 .. This is long overdue , he created a offense that was so fun to watch and had many hall of famers produced by that offense. Dan Fouts , Charlie Joiner , Kellen Winslow.. this would be a wonderful tribute to a San Diego Product , he was also the only coach ever to win over 100 games in College and 100 games as a NFL Pro coach.. This has to happen .. Give San Diegans there final tribute as their team leaves to LOS ANGELES.. 

3) JOHN LYNCH- 1993-2003 TAMPA BAY BUCANNEERS , 2004-2009 DENVER BRONCOS. Tremendous player , and smart as heck , classy act and a san Diego native. Grew up in Torrey Pines and once again a great trbute to a San Diegan and a great way to have closure for san Diegan fans to see a native be inducted into the Hall of Fame class.. 

4) Kurt warner - He was the leader of the greatest show on earth with the ST LOUIS RAMS, and threw for a record breaking 414 yards in SUPER BOWL 34. He finished with the Arizona Cardinals and took them to the Big Game .. He is a well deserving candidate and a true fairy tale story of rags to riches. He would make a great acceptance speech and add more class to the other inductees.. 

5) TERREL OWENS- His stats speak for themselves - 2nd ever in NFL history in receiving yards 15,934.. 3rd in TOUCH DOWNS 152 . BEHIND ONLY BY LT AND JERRY RICE.. He had 5 seasons of 1200 yards receiving.. Amazing stats , but I know his antics , his attitude and his arrogance turned off many including coaches and players, but like Muhammad Ali , his greatness and what he did on the field is whats going to get him in. Its time to let go off his mean attitude and selfish me me look at me personna. He is deserving and would add a dramatic over the top acceptance speech I would love to see and  listen too!! 

Special mention ; 
TERREL DAVIS - an another San Diego Native and good guy , but.. He didn't hit the criteria that fits my standards for hall of fame, close very close.even border line. But he is the only running back along with the Great Jim Brown to average 100 yards rushing in regular and post season play!!He was league MVP 1998 AND SUPER BOWL 37 MVP AND is still the Denver Broncos Leading rusher, but because he career was so short.. like Gale sayers comparison. but Gale was so dominating and scary. Terrel was not spectacular but consistent. But his short career is whats haunting his nomination .. In my humble opinion.. If they could or would why not put 6 players in and two running backs.. but chances are he will wait another year..
