FINANCIAL FRIDAY - WHAT ARE ANNUITIES>
First of all Happy Friday, another week down and another day to celebrate life.. Yes.. take time out to be thankful.. Often times, including myself,,I take things for granted. Like seeing you kids or wife,.. Because we all know life can end in a instant.. because of drunk or drugged out people... If theirs a fear of mine,, is that unexpected accident with a drunken person.. because you have no control if a intoxicated person hits and kills you.. I Pray and applaud law enforcement when they get those lowlifes off the street..
Ok,, back to my topic,, What are annuities?
Annuities are simply a solution to financial long term planning .. In other words its the savings plan version of a life insurance policy.. Still confused?
ok..
Annuities are classified as either deferred or Immediate?
ok.. What does that mean?
Deferred
1) tax deferred - you the owner invests a lump sum ..like a rollover 401k or IRA account .
2) You make regular payments over the course of many years.
3) That period of cash growth is called the accumulation phase..
Immediate
1) Different ?
2) You the owner deposits a lump sum and starts receiving payments right away.
3) Based on the terms of the annuity contract.. Example .. $$ per month until a certain age..
Now Accumulation phase..
1) This only applies to deferred annuities
2) During this phase or time your contributions are gradually building up.
3) Early withdrawal during this phase may face a surrender charge.
40 But some annuities do allow partial withdrawals within the contract ,, avoiding a penalty fee.
Pay out Phase..
Period certain- choose the time period- fro example 30 years.
YOU SIMPLY get payments for 30 years..
Now if you die early like 15 years--
the remaining 15 year will continue being paid,, if you designated a beneficiary,, be sure to do that..
Usually its your children...
Now if you live long.. and the 30 years is attained,, the payout ends.. Enjoy the money and your life..
Now Life time payment,,,
As long as you live,, you get paid $$
Common sense tells you if you die,,, No more $$ so you need to live long!!
Now are you still with me.. I know its alot to recall.But I'm making it as simple as I can.. of course do your own research.. and need be,, speak with a financial advisor you trust,,they will be happy to share their knowledge,,

Its a combination of the above mentioned..
ok.. explain,,
1) you decide on 30 years..
2) If you die in the 15th year.. the payment continues for another 15 years..to your beneficiary,,,
Now if you live past the 30 years.. the payments continue until you die.. So live long,, if you want everything in life to pay off.. that is if you made the right decision's with such investments.. or savings plans...
Ok.. Now one more thing ..
Joint and Survival Annuities- usually for married or couples,,
1) One of us dies.. the payment continues until the spouse dies..
now remember annuities is just another financial tool,, and it may not be for you,, that's why you need a financial advisor to explain in more detail..
But here's my take on the subject..
simply put an annuity is like a life insurance policy..

Annuities

Now like gambling.. Life Insurance your making a bet that you live long enough that any payments you made will match the payout or worth the investment. Still confused?
Lets say you pay 300 a month or year for insurance,, and you die soon after,, the company pays the benefit.. to your beneficiary. which means.. your family wins,,, the company loses. So.. the company,, wants you to live long making payments., because the money you are paying.. Guess what?
They are loaning that money to Banks, to investors at a high rate of return.. in other words they are making money.. and they are..
Just a food for thought,, Have you head of any insurance companies claiming bankruptcy,,, ?
Now back to my lesson ..
Annuity
1) You give the company a lump sum.. like 600,000.00
Now your betting that you live a long life.
1) IF YOU DO.. THE COMPANY KEEPS PAYING YOU MONTHLY..
2) Now the Company can possibly pay you more than you put in.. Understand..? It means you will get more money than you paid into .. Thus your the winner. But stats say,, Most folks don't.. and that's why they make the bet.. But isn't life a bet anyways.??. We all want to live long,,, But you never know ,, that's why people purchase life insurance or annuities.. its just another tool for your financial stability,, Its the secret tools the rich people use..
Now if you die too soon,, then the payment stops.. or only pay up to a certain period.. ..Thus the companies win..Just remember,, Insurance companies are making money on every $$ paid.. to them...
Final thoughts,
A fixed annuities is - A guaranteed rate that is fixed.. in other words a fixed rate of return..
Fixed Index Annuity is - based n market index.. Like a S and P 500..
for EXAMPLE,,, Min cap can be 0% with the max set at 8 % .. Ok.. What happens f it goes higher,, well the insurance co has to make money,, but at least your making something,, Now understand why insurance companies are making money?? You will get you fair share.. if you live long, But regard less insurance companies are making their money.. That's why share in the wealth,, and tools that the rich and famous use to create wealth management,, In other words,, make your money work hard for you, by making the right investment choices,,,
Now understand annuities have no limits,, on contribution,,, you can contribute as much as you want, like a IRA , which are limited to a certain amount per year..
Does this make sense?
Ok.. its just another vehicle for financial planning... Its a choice many people make when they want to rollover or transfer their 401k, or IRA into annuities,,
why? to take advantage of the payout phase later.. Its another tool to add with pensions, savings and social security payouts when your older..
Now.. I hope this has clarified matters or made it more interesting tools to think about.. But just remember ,, Time is marching on. and preparing for the future starts now.. The longer you wait, the harder for you to be ready when you do turn 65 or 70 or whenever you decide your working years are done.. If anything.. start thinking about saving your money at any level.. Because like building a house you have to have a firm foundation.. You can get an annuities if you don't have a large amount to invest and you have to patient to let that money sit,, that's why its an investment., its something that will pay off later for you and your loved ones.. patience.. in the money game of life is what will build and develop a great wealth portfolio.. I know.. Its not easy to save,, but saving today , can make the future less stressful..Because you were patient and committed in building a sound wealth management program.. Like anything in life,, the best things in life often take the most time to get or effort.. Its just human nature,, if you had to work hard to get things,, You are more willing to fight for what you have.. so go out and save,, and make sound buying decisions.. If you can pay with it straight out..without using credit cards,,, then do it,, But using Credit cards,, is the banks way to make money while the rest of us,, suffer paying interest for things that would have been cheaper if I would of paid for it,, straight out!!!

Why I chose ROTH IRA over Traditional IRA,,
Why I chose Roth IRA( Individual retirement Account ) over Traditional IRA..?
First of all we all work hard for our money, and saving for the future is not only good sense , but also common sense,, I know But I want that big house, that cool car , cool clothes.. That's all well and good. But the future comes faster than you think.
Like for me.. I'm retired and I still have kids that are growing up attending college too? Guess what? Those things cost,, ?Yes, you can rely on financial aid, Pell grants, etc. But establishing that college fund,, or savings plans , life insurance...are the way to have money for their future and yours,, That's one of the reasons I bought life insurance for myself , wife and my kids.. In case of the inevitable,,, when I die , they will have money for my funeral expenses and their own expenses , like school fees, car notes, life,, Its called protection for life's unavoidable truth..
Now back to my decision to use ROTH IRA OVER TRADITIONAL IRA..
IRA - is a individual retirement account..
traditional IRA have 2 benefits.
1) No taxes on the money , until you make a withdrawal..
2) All interest , capital gains or dividend are tax differed until once again you make a withdrawal..
My choice " ROTH IRA"
similar but,,,
Your contribution's are not tax deductible but are tax free if you ..
1) keep the money in the account for 5 years .. after your initial contribution,.
2) reach the age 59 1/2 , unless you die or are disabled..
Thus , you want to leave that money in the ROTH IRA as long as you can..
Traditional IRA's don't allow you extensions,,, you have to start withdrawing by the time your 70 1/2..
remember this:
Traditional Ira 's - The money you put in isn't taxed.. its the money you take out that is!! Here don't pay me now , but pay me later.. Which could be larger than the Roth Option,,,Do the math..
Roth Ira's - You are taxed on the money when you put it in , not when you take it out,, In other words,, pay me now ,, enjoy later..
Both Traditional and Roth's have limits you can contribute each year, check with you bank,, both penalize you if you withdraw the money before designated retirement age,,
Now IRA rollovers..
Like anything in life you want a better rate of return for money eventually,,,
You can rollover other IRA'S or 401k's 403 (b)s or other employee savings plan when you change or lose jobs..
So, based on these criteria's I use the Roth Ira..when,, its time I can roll it over to annuities,, which is my next blog.. So please read and heed, and research about money matters.. But most of all start savings.. and develop a budget plan,, so you know where your money is going and find ways to cut back or adjust your expenses and savings..plans. The simplest way to save is set an allotment or direct deposit into savings, or Ira accounts, that way out of sight ,, it docent affect you.
Lets do the math/.
Save 100 dollars a month = 1200 in a year.. time 5 years = 6000 NOT COUNTING INTEREST,,
IN 20 YEARS THAT'S 24,000 not counting interest,, ok doesn't seem like alot.. well add more money per month.. like,, after paying off a car ..300.00 a month
300 x 12 deposits per year =3600 a year - in 5 years = 18,000 .. over 20 years that's 72,000 plus not counting interest.. and if you roll it over to annuity that pays higher interest,, than your $$ will be even more,, But.. it cant happen without a discipline commitment to make this happen..
I hope this clarifies,, how Ira's work,, and if your still confused,, seek a Financial advisor than can you how to make your money work better for you,, Its like I say,, who cares how much you make? The tougher question is how much are you saving? Those that take that road of saving.. Are the ones,, that will have financial stability.. Remember you cant have a FINANCIAL FUTURE if you delay your savings plans..and when you need a higher rate of return. seek out those programs that will enable you to do that.. So Enjoy and start savings,, and create a budget now,,, Your future and your family are depending on someone in the family to be financially educated... I am a blog writer based in San Diego,. I wasn't born or raised in San Diego. I was a traveling man because of my fathers service in the US NAVY.
But , I have adopted the culture and love for the Chargers , Padres, Aztecs. and the great beaches , parks and scenic sites of San Diego.
The fans have been loyal and patient, and We all understand the NFL is a business, but we also know, in today's tough times for consumers love and money, its a tough sell. The fans have spoken , they love the chargers and willing to do wants needed.
Now my plan..
Build it where it stands.. I know its not a sexy pick.. I mean downtown,has the scenic spots and night life,, But Mission Valley is not that far away..
Now Make the Q - a happening spot.
how?
Have the parking lot a happening experience. During game day you can have the parking lot surrounded by local sites and scenes.. For example,, In Pacific beach,, they have a surfer teaching set up where people can learn to surf in a surfing machine,,, IN another part of the parking set aside a tail gate section.. and if possible charge a seasonal fee for groups to reserve the spot.. Make sure it has all the outlets for electrical set ups.. barbecue area.. and restroom areas... Next have a bus that makes stops to all the cool spots , like gas lamp , Coronado beach, Torrey pines, la jolla.. these could be a game day or weekend set up or a daily run,,, it could bring people to the sites and to the Q..
On non game days '' you can set up a drag strip - for muscle car guys and gals that want to see how fast they can go? Like a timed drag race deal..
same with motorcycle's,, or even bike riders,, why ? People are curious in how fast their cars or bikes are?/
In addition you can have a NFL experience set up on game day or any other day where people could run through a obstacle course , or kick field goals or throw passes,, Sounds good right?
On the inside,, set aside one level for shopping -- like a Walmart , or Costco ,something that would bring fans in.. Perhaps a NFL SHOP,,, etc,,,
On another level.. Set aside for food spot.. healthy.. fast and fine dining..
On another level is workout area,, like a 24 hour fitness center , with dance classes or martial arts,, and of course GNC shop for healthy supplements,,,,,
on the same level or different a movie theatre.. and or a school like National U or University of Phoenix,, to set up some classes and of course exposure for their service..
You can have a information area - where fans and people and look and make reservations for the sites and areas around San Diego , like the World famous Zoo, Sea world, Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, The hotels,, around the airport , seaport Village ,, Museums,, Coronado Beach,, La Jolla Shores , Lego land.. Exposure and awareness will create business, In today's world a one stop shopping experience is what people want.. Make the Q - the place to get all the info you need to see San Diego..
You can open up the field one day or more where fans can check out the field, take pictures,, run the field,, Why,, ? Too create an attachment and build up the fans for the future... Its simple build loyalty, you are building an empire,,
In other words,, Make the Q - not only a Saturday or Sunday place to visit,, truly make it a daily functional place to be.. It would be great for the New Q and make Mission Valley a more happening place to be,, In other words.. Make the Q - the Source for your shopping - work out and hang out area.. I know it may sound too much. But this a great fun and sun city,, We are not Dallas , or San Francisco.. for better or worse.. WE are a different sell.. We have to sell what San Diego has,, the great weather , the sun.. and the diversity..
I hope my suggestions are taken into consideration and if you use some or now or what, atleast , I have started a brain storming idea , that will make this project happen.
Another suggestion it to have a hotel ,, built near or around the Q-- Perhaps a innovative one that could surround the Q - and having a walking bridge connecting the Hotel to stadium for players and coaches,, What better way to have teams stay near the stadium.. I think the players and coaches would think that's cool. They could work out,, walk over to bridge and then rest and go party In the Valley or the gas lamp./. Sounds great right.. If anything.. I'm trying to create a practical place for the the NFL and visiting teams... This project needs to be innovative . Use the resources that San Diego has to offer..
The resources( Money $$) can come from: Naming rights- fees from The Q or have a smaller scale tc monitor sponsored by Verizon or any other company that would love the advertisement they get when announcer say,, check out the replay on Verizon's big screen TV.. in beautiful Qualcolmm stadium San Diego.. It can happen.. That's how Jerry's world did it in Dallas.. Ts possible and it makes sense.. Business makes business and collaboration of all these business ventures will only enhance one another.. Just something to brain storm and use..
Charge fees for all the business to place their companies on and around the stadium.. Even a cool hotel like the Marriott could have their name,, placed all over the place ,, when announcers say,, and surrounding the Q is the state of the Art Marriott where players , coaches and fans can stay !!
All of these things can create that experience San Diego needs and can make it happen.. Share what the city has to offer,,
By making the Q , a happening place.. People will come.. and when people go to places they spend money,,,
Lastly,, The Q - has the least resistance.. compared to downtown... Like i Said it might NOT be the sexy downtown pick,, but why not make the Q - the Sexy place to be , by placing these cool ideas,, Just something to think about.. The fans are excited about this team., and the sooner the better this project completed... and lets get this deal done! I sincerely hope.. The San Diego Council and Mayor of San Diego as well as you sir,, can come to a agreement and make this happen not only for your financial success but the future of San Diego, Imagine,, SUPER BOWL WEEK, PRO BOWLS. COLLEGE BOWLS,, OLYMPICS ? CONVENTIONS, CONCERTS, OFF ROAD EVENTS,, ETC.. all of this can only create a financial gold mine for you and the city.. Simple steps to saving!!
SIMPLE STEPS TO SAVING ..
1) FIRST off.. start a savings account with your kids.. Saving is a habit. 10.00 dollars pay day .. teach kids.. Saving can be fun.. MY mother did this at a very young age,, Back in the day they the banks gave you a savings book, where you kept track of your savings.. As a kid , I mowed neighbors lawn, did car washes, saved cans and saved my allowance.. It has been a life long habit.

Because when I'm really retired,, age 65, and on social security? and on a fixed income because of my retirement pension.. then money will be tight. You have to start now. The future is really unclear,, but having a nest egg and life insurance and health insurance , well its a law .. if you don't comply ,, you can get penalized on your income tax returns.. so its better to be safe than sorry.
Lastly.. Develop a monthly budget.. List your expenses.. and savings.. and stick to your budget. Be sure to pay off those credit cards and once that is done.. the 20- 50 dollars can be added to your spending budget , but I rather use it for savings.. NFL OWNERS MEETING - MAR 24,2015- THE SOURCES TAKE..
First off, what a off season, and the NFL has done a great job keeping the NFL IN THE forefront...
Now the big changes or updates from the meeting..
1) NFL at least for one season.. the out dated Blackout rule lifted for 2015 season.. Hooray,, but hold on for a minute,, Chargers fans and others can watch their teams at home,, Now.. for charger fans,, you guys recall. that the chargers did sell out all their games last year,, but it was like a road game for the chargers. alot of fans are selling their ticket to opposing fans,, Why? Money of course,, if you can make a profit selling to out of towners.. why not? I'm not knocking the fans,, but in a way I am. too,, because you should support your team.. but the way the spanos family has treated the fans lately,, past 14 years.. its getting old.. well anyways,, it might be embarrassing to watch the chargers struggle playing at the Q , when half the stadium is full of the other teams fans.. just a sad and sobering thought.. we may see next year?
2) Plans to have a 9pt play,, Yes.. Make the touch down count as 7 instead of 6 , and of course adding in the 2 pt play options... Its a possibility , because the NFL wants higher scores to make the game exciting,,
3) The extra point attempt . PAT - points after touchdown.. - place the ball at the 15 yd line to make it less of a automatic attempt.. Perhaps creating more of a decision to go for the two point try??
4) Penalties for the deflate gate , noise gate? First of all,, does it matter now? I mean the patriots did or didn't do it.. They won the big game.. so any penalties ,,money wise$$ or draft picks.. it really doesn't matter.. The Pats won.. and that's that,, as for the falcons,, importing noise into their stadium.. it didn't work.. they were still losers,,, so why bother? Just my thoughts.. if a team gets caught doing something,, why wait? Penalize as soon as possible.. for example.. in real life,, if you commit a crime,, they don't wait to impose punishments,, or decide later what the penalties are? If you speed, your issued a ticket and you then pay a fine or attend speed court and defend ones actions,, In the NFL.. its more like,, commit crimes,, and we will decide what the fines and penalties are.. Not so democratic, its more,, the NFL way and no other way,, No wonder players are so disenchanted with the NFL..
FOR EXAMPLE.. THE HARDY DEAL TO THE COWBOYS.. he not only beat his lady , but threatened to kill her? Go figure, yet he's back in the league, while Peterson is getting so much attention about SPANKING his kid. whatever your view point.. ?He didn't ever say I'm going to kill you,, or at least we DONT think so,, ?!?so. like I said so many times. NFL is really the no figure league.. In consistent rulings, guidelines, and penalties is why the NFL.. is more like the WWE in wrestling,,, Attention grabbing , self centered , money making billionaires that dictate whats morally right and whats good for their own interest,, Yes, THE NFL is racist,, they only see green backs,, $$$ anything else doesn't matter? But as fans,, we are suckers to this exciting game.. but that's the truth .. sad ,pathetic truth..
5) Free agency rules? I mean finally we are seeing trade happening in the NFL.. and great for the players,, Why stick to a team if they aren't loyal to to you.. For me players have the right who to play for and when and how long,,Why not? The owners ,, pick and choose when and how much they pay or not pay their players? Its seems one sided ,, when the NFL can dictate a person's life.. The players work hard all their life, only to be used and abused by teams.. and told,, you suck ,, go away, For me.. It should be open,, if a player .. is done with a team after 3- 4 years,, and still has a couple years,, have that option to make a move.I know that might sound like a business sound decision.but it gives the player a chance to look for a better fit,, I see too many players stuck on a team that doesn't fit.. But the NFL.. is such a one sided organization, its gonna be a fight.. But its something you see happening,, with the most trades ,,this off season, ever..
lastly, the chargers situation ? The owners are listening to the plans of the chargers. raiders and rams..
Rumor mill- The chargers are moving,. and the name changed ,,like the browns moving to Baltimore and becoming the ravens,, and winning a Superbowl.. or the Houston oilers moving to Tennessee and becoming the titans.. has anyone ever thought about that? I mean,, We all know LA is a raider and ram town.. but if they have new name,, would la embrace it.. I mean the LA , Orange county, Riverside encompasses 10 million people.. Now.. the NFL.. wants teams to sell PSL'S
what is that? Personal seating License- its exorbitant fee a season ticket holder must pay just to buy tickets.. anywhere from 10,000 - 40,000 Were paid by the St Louis and Minnesota fans,, That's how they financed their teams stadium deals..Now .. do the chargers have enough fans.. in their small base of 2 million plus,,, to purchase enough?? ok,, here's the math.
40,000 psl's x 10,000 fee = 400,000,000
20,000 psl's x 40,000 = 800,000,000
and thats then add the tickets that will be 100.00 to 1,000 a ticket!! more $$ .
Plus the luxury suites the Cowboys and 49ers have.. more money. Its just simple fact.. NFL doesn't care about tailgating,, theres no money in that.. They want corporate big wigs that can play those numbers..
I heard on the NFL network.. San Diego is a destination city, in other words,, a city full of out of towners and no loyalty. People come and go and stay and leave because of military influence,. or just plain economics. price of housing , lack of jobs,, and just plain old a expensive city to live in.. Its tough to live in a city,,, where you pay the highest sales tax, property tax, housing rental costs,, etc.. too many expenses for tax payers to approve a venue that many of the residents never will use or want to use.. Its tough for me to give my had earned money ,, for a billionaire , millionaire's,, who has tortured and threatened the fans by saying we are taking the team to LA etc.. after 14 years,, I'm sure most fans,, are getting tired,, of this,, !??!Its hard to have date if your partner doesn't talk to you or what? The city council is trying. but the chargers are nit picking every move.. It just makes you think they are already set on moving... They say if you say and think it.. its already a done deal.. All the actions the chargers are doing speaks louder than what they are saying,, which isn't much these days.. Rivers made a bold move.. and perhaps it will work. ??But based on the chargers they have no loyalty,, they let Brees, go, merriman go, vincent jackson, sproles, cromartie,, LT..etc,, Rivers is no different.. So.. My take,. enjoy the chargers next season.. Because it may the swansong to a 50 year plus love affair,, the Lord of no Rings,, but exciting football never the less.. I hope I'm wrong, but the economics and the actions I see .. just let me think.. The move is inevitable.. Who is to blame.. ? Chargers . the city council , the fans? Maybe all is to blame.. ?! But one thing is for sure.. The charger fans are passionate . it just the NFL loves $$ green backs.. and its just not feasible in a beautiful but flawed city.. The tax payers will not go it,,, Alot of San diegans .. don't care about a arena that is used for what 20- 30 times a year counting Chargers and SDSU AZTECS home games, San Diego bowl games.. High school football chairmanships. concerts? off roading events,,, Its a hard sell.. In a city that needs a bigger airport and safer border and military bases, lets not forget the roads and highways and infrastructure around the city and county.. But the City council,, will try to do in one or 2 years that the previous city council has not done in 14 years.
Next year will be interesting,, and the fate of the Chargers , could very well be on the Charger fans that are willing to buy PSL'S/.. or are the chargers already.. set on going to LA and make a whole new identity.. LA KNIGHTS.. LA ROCKERS .. LA WARRIORS.. ,, ??

How I keep my Muscle Car looking New ' Black Beauty !' Based on on my Own trials and tribulations!
First of all I own a 2012 RT DODGE CHALLENGER V8 HEMI ,, Pitch black with Black wheels and tinted windows,,
Now I'm not saying I'm an expert and everyone should use what they feel is great for their car needs or budgets,, But I will share what i have done over the 3 years to maintain that show room show car look !
First off ,, avoid muddy areas and avoid letting Bird crap stay on cars.. that destroys any paint surface, if you see it remove it immediately.. and if possible ,, keep your car in a garage or park in parking structures to avoid that harsh California or any other states sun.. Sun damages cars more than any other natural elements.. Keep your car covered.. Invest in car cover.. and dont be cheap!!
Interior first! Why you can avoid bring dirt into a car. plus like building a football team. you build from the inside out , or in this case clean the inside and work your self out..
Interior
1) remove Mats, I blow out the mats,,, Yes,. I have a vacuum with a blower device, but you can you your garden blower to do this,, It really clean out carpets well really well.
2) Next I have a brush,, carpet brush. with handle,, It brings up the carpet.. for easier vacuuming..
3) I vacuum up the mats,, and of course the interior of car.. don't forget to brush up your interior to bring up carpet strands..
4) I use carpet protector- Its a solution that provides barrier in case something falls on it,,,Its a added step that can keep your interior looking good..
5) I then wipe down the dash board , door jams.. Don't use armor. they dry out your plastics.. I usually meguairs or mothers or Lexol products.. Pricey but worth the effort,, Sold at Pep Boys or walmart.
6) I apply protectorate on dash board.. their are two types.
One is natural shine . mostly used because people don't want a glare bouncing off their dash on sunny days,,,
Then there is the shiny one or ultimate shine,,, I use it along the door jams and other interiors areas I want shiny.. I usually spray it on a pad or towel,, instead of on the dash... it can get messy when it gets on your windows,,
7) Now Windows.. Inside / outside..
1) one cloth for wiping off products
2) one cloth to remove the glaze we see.. its what detailerss do.. ( My first job after high school)on detail jobs,,, so stock up on towels.,
Always use glass towels for glass, and interior towels for interiors.. Never mix them up..
Washing the car:
1) I use 4 buckets..
One bucket is for the suds and soap.. I use Meguiars or Mothers.. whatever is on sale,,, and stock up..!!
One bucket full of clean water with a grit protector.. its a round plastic item that catches the dirt while you put the soapy microfiber mitt .. It removes dirt and grime that could damage your car finish. You can buy them at auto geek.com or if your lucky at car shops..
One bucket used for the wheels.. I use soft brushes for the tires and wheels... I bought mine at Pep Boys.
One bucket full of clean water , to wash off your brushes,, always keep the buckets separated and never use your tire buckets for the exterior of ones car..
If you car has bugs use a bug sponge or towel to remove those disgusting bugs,, remember.. don't use the same towel on the bugs ,, that you are using for the body...
ok.. after I gather up my materials,, Oh I have caddy that hold all my cleaning products.
1) rinse off car .. top to bottom.. and don't forget the wheel wells and wheels.. remove all dirt and debris,,,
2) then use your mitt to gently wipe down your car,, one again top to bottom and ensure the entire car has been touched . (i USE MEGUIARS ULTIMATE CAR WASH)
3) After soaping down car,, get your hose and spray off the car..once again top to bottom.. Now if your car is really dirty,,,, like trucks can get.. redo step one,,
As for wheels;
1) I soap down wheels and tires using the buckets separated for them and rinse it off..
Now the drying : Chamois--
1) I use chamois.. its more expensive , but if you love your car,, money or price doesn't matter. I like it because its gentle and removes excess water quickly ,, I sometimes use a drying towel.. always use a soft materials,, But Chamois is my choice,, Once again,, Pep Boys, Auto Zone , target sells these items as well as Walmart.. But if that's too pricey,, there are other products like the Absorber,, but those items hold dirt that can damage your paint.. But if your budget is the issue thay are cheaper, but I found you have to replace them more often than a chamois..
Now the clay bar, polishing and waxing techniques..
For New cars.

3) After I polish.. I Use the Mothers or Meguiars Ultimate wax.. Paste , liquid or spray.. Its all up to to you I have all three,, Paste is harder to remove, I use liquid , but have spray if time is a issue.
Well anyways,, I wax the vehicle one section at a time and i ensure I remove all the wax before proceeding to the next section.. I use a Microfiber towel to remove wax .

Just my opinion.. But like I said,, do your own research and use whats good for you,, I'm just like using these items because they are convenient and well know and proven@@
You can use a polisher , but be careful, you can cause swirl marks ,, that will lead to another detailing day.. by using meguars swirl x - to remove the marks,,

First of all I own a 2012 RT DODGE CHALLENGER V8 HEMI ,, Pitch black with Black wheels and tinted windows,,
Now I'm not saying I'm an expert and everyone should use what they feel is great for their car needs or budgets,, But I will share what i have done over the 3 years to maintain that show room show car look !
First off ,, avoid muddy areas and avoid letting Bird crap stay on cars.. that destroys any paint surface, if you see it remove it immediately.. and if possible ,, keep your car in a garage or park in parking structures to avoid that harsh California or any other states sun.. Sun damages cars more than any other natural elements.. Keep your car covered.. Invest in car cover.. and dont be cheap!!
Interior first! Why you can avoid bring dirt into a car. plus like building a football team. you build from the inside out , or in this case clean the inside and work your self out..
Interior
1) remove Mats, I blow out the mats,,, Yes,. I have a vacuum with a blower device, but you can you your garden blower to do this,, It really clean out carpets well really well.
2) Next I have a brush,, carpet brush. with handle,, It brings up the carpet.. for easier vacuuming..
3) I vacuum up the mats,, and of course the interior of car.. don't forget to brush up your interior to bring up carpet strands..
4) I use carpet protector- Its a solution that provides barrier in case something falls on it,,,Its a added step that can keep your interior looking good..
5) I then wipe down the dash board , door jams.. Don't use armor. they dry out your plastics.. I usually meguairs or mothers or Lexol products.. Pricey but worth the effort,, Sold at Pep Boys or walmart.
6) I apply protectorate on dash board.. their are two types.
One is natural shine . mostly used because people don't want a glare bouncing off their dash on sunny days,,,
Then there is the shiny one or ultimate shine,,, I use it along the door jams and other interiors areas I want shiny.. I usually spray it on a pad or towel,, instead of on the dash... it can get messy when it gets on your windows,,
7) Now Windows.. Inside / outside..
1) one cloth for wiping off products
2) one cloth to remove the glaze we see.. its what detailerss do.. ( My first job after high school)on detail jobs,,, so stock up on towels.,
Always use glass towels for glass, and interior towels for interiors.. Never mix them up..
Washing the car:
1) I use 4 buckets..
One bucket is for the suds and soap.. I use Meguiars or Mothers.. whatever is on sale,,, and stock up..!!
One bucket full of clean water with a grit protector.. its a round plastic item that catches the dirt while you put the soapy microfiber mitt .. It removes dirt and grime that could damage your car finish. You can buy them at auto geek.com or if your lucky at car shops..
One bucket used for the wheels.. I use soft brushes for the tires and wheels... I bought mine at Pep Boys.
One bucket full of clean water , to wash off your brushes,, always keep the buckets separated and never use your tire buckets for the exterior of ones car..
If you car has bugs use a bug sponge or towel to remove those disgusting bugs,, remember.. don't use the same towel on the bugs ,, that you are using for the body...
ok.. after I gather up my materials,, Oh I have caddy that hold all my cleaning products.
1) rinse off car .. top to bottom.. and don't forget the wheel wells and wheels.. remove all dirt and debris,,,
2) then use your mitt to gently wipe down your car,, one again top to bottom and ensure the entire car has been touched . (i USE MEGUIARS ULTIMATE CAR WASH)
3) After soaping down car,, get your hose and spray off the car..once again top to bottom.. Now if your car is really dirty,,,, like trucks can get.. redo step one,,
As for wheels;
1) I soap down wheels and tires using the buckets separated for them and rinse it off..

THE STATE OF THE SAN DIEGO CHARGER? INSPIRED BY FREE AGENCY MOVES..
The San Diego Chargers have been mediocre for the past 4 years and counting.. 8-8, 9-7 , with or without a running game or a really solid number wide out.. I know Keenan Allen was great find and made a great splash his rookie season. but last season was disappointing.. The great gates had a career year, can he do it again as he approaches middle age in sports years.. And Bless Rivers,,playing in pain,, but it may have taken years of his time table.. Lets face it, he's not the most agile or athlectic QB in the league , In fact he is probably the slowest running one in the league.. I would bet Manning could out run rivers, Bur anyways,
Are the chargers better than last year? I say no.. They let Mathew's go... and Rivers pivotal pass catchers in royal.( he had chemistry with him at crunch times) I know,, the chargers picked up Stevie who ? Johnson. He had 3 good years early in is career before being a journey man with the 49ers.. Ok.. does that make them a contender? or the signings of former broncos line men, ? I say no.. The broncos and yes the chiefs are still one and two , with the chargers holding third place , with the raiders not far behind.. I know,, the raiders? But they are getting better and they are capable of beating the chargers and have these past few years.. The problem with charger fans,, they base their \teams abilities on yesteryear.. This is no longer a LT , shawne merriman.. Vincent jackson , darren sproles talent rich team.. This is a rebuilding team with a young and unproven GM and Head coach.. I like Mike McCoy,, but is he a Superbowl winning coach..?!? Can he outcoach the Belichick, or Mike Tomlin or Jim Harbaugh, Pete carrols of the day.. ? If anything he reminds of Nervous Norv? Yes ,, the record speak for itself,, back to back 9-7 records, similar to Nervous Norv;s last years. Yes.. It may be harsh on a 3rd year coach,, But Guess what ??1,, it whats the NFL is all about.. You want to perform well and do good things,The Chargers seem to always mess things up.. Back in the 90's we had a great coach , in Bobby the Boss Ross!! , in fact I could call him the best ever,!! because he took a Stan the Man Humphries team with Natrone Means to the teams only SUPERBOWL appearance. Sure they were killed by the great 49ers, but at least the city had a year to always remember? But because we had a ego , self centered GM bobby beathard , funny has history repeats itself in San Diego. AJ smith , great at assembling talent , but was a jerk to players and coaches that could of led the team to better things,, But their self promoting,, I;m the best ever attitude's,, destroy any chance for championship football.. Well anyways.. the bolts,, don't resign the Boss ross and the chargers go into the dark period of their hsiotry. the cryan ryan leaf years,, 1-15 , the june jines, Mike riley and and Merry go round of coaches and qb's.. its naddening to be honest,, But finally,, we make a great hire in Marty Schttenheimer.. He along with Drew Brees and LT willed this team into contenders and relevant in the NFL.. but AJ boneheaded Smith.. fires A 14-2 COACH. ? Who in their right minds does that..?? the bone headed charger management / owners.. How can you ruin the chemistry the chargers had, with brees and LT.. BUT.. they do,, they get rid of Drew Brees who happen to win a Superbowl in New orleans,, at one time the worst team ever., Wow , what a slap in the face to the chargers,, well anyways,, the chargers, hire a loser coach in Nervous Norv Turner,, in fact a former raider coach...?? Anyone in their right minds doesn't take anything from the raiders.. But they do.. and the chargers,, go on to lose in the playoffs with him, before he is finally fired!! Thus.. the chargers hire unproven Tom Telesco and Mike McCoy,, they are potentially great prospects,, or cheaper choices.. and they surprise the city and themselves, by going 9-7 , and make the playoff and even gain a upset playoff win against the talented bengals. But another 9-7 season, with inconsistent play , has many fans wondering ,??, Are the chargers heading in the right directon?
based on the moves,, the chargers are still a 9-7 , team , with no pass rusher threat or a run stopper on defense,, the chargers are still in desperate need of a big nose tackle , like a Jamal William's type to help the undersized line backers the bolts have,, Teo is good , but somewhat small and not very fast.. he needs help with the big three , which the chargers don't have right now..
The disrespecting of Rivers is appalling.. Not trying to resign him to a long term contract is awful.. I know its negations,, but rivers is the heart and soul of this team.. I'm sorry Clemens or sorenson are not the answers.. !!The chargers making threats or claim about moving to LA..is downright disheartening, though we all know its a business,, ,but it still makes fans angry.. But if the San Diego city council wasn't so self centered and corrupt over the past 14 years,, the city could of had a stadium built for under 1 billion dollars, But they wasted time, money and research, to cause a rift between the city and the team. but that's the history of the chargers,, they tease you , please you only yo disappoint you every season.. But like addicts , we the fans come back , hoping ,praying , and wishing that Lombardi trophy will be ours.. But just look at the teams that win Superbowl's, they are consistent , they have play makers and play breakers and they take chances, Not the chargers , they made safe ,predictable moves,, and that why they 8-8 , and 9-7 champions of the league,, they beat the bad teams,, but lose to the elites,, if that's not mediocrity,, I don't know what is..?! Its funny the charger fans like to laugh at other teams miseries,, but most of those teams the fans laugh at have won a Superbowl or more,, The rams, saints, buccaneers, raiders , and 49ers,, have all won one or more. I know that's past history,, but guess what? If I was a fan of theirs,, I would say ok,!!!, we may suck now,, but have you won anything ? The San Diego Chargers have some of the most passionate fans I have ever met,.. despite having a team that has never won anything, The 1963 AFL championship with only 8 teams , doesn't mean much to the NFL .. and many of us weren't even born to feel that thrill.
Bottom line: The State of the San Diego chargers is this? The team is not interested in playing in mission Valley, yes its convenient , but studies have shown its a waste land with contaminated soil and ground water , due to those oil tanks you can see nearby,, Also the water district owns the land and they are difficult to deal with along with all San Diego agencies.. The NFL WANTS TO sell those luxury seats , that SAN DIEGAN cant afford,,, the NFL has changed its a money game now,... gambling , and making money is whats its all about., In LA.. you have rich people, actors, singers , dancers, politicians. businessman that can buy those luxury seats for thousands of dollars,, The tail gating scene is a no money activity,, because most of the people buy their own beer and food and don't spend money at the game,, or even attend,,, ?
Rivers is pissed off, he stated he wants nothing to do with LA, and I don't blame him,,, but he will play out his last year as a lame duck player, and throw to gates and allen.. and hope the others step it up.. Oliver and woodhead will make plays ..and the defense will play good enough to win 8 or 9 games, but a contender ? Based on what they have or let go ,, this team is weaker than it was a year ago.. resigning players that were injured last year to protect rivers,, wouldn't make me feel good about rivers health? And he knows what!! But its what the chargers have done historically,, build up the fans,, only to disappoint or choke in the playoffs,, Yes.. it;s a hard reality. but check out the stats and history.. The chargers when it mattered the most blown chances to be a champion, because they let go of coaches and players that demand and deserve the big money, But like every year , they will make moves, draft some good players and play exciting , if not consistent winning football, and we will as fans,will wish and pray and even hope they can win.. But in today's NFL.. the formula for success , is winning consistently , and having a formula that works.. The chargers are still in search of that formula,, and after 2 years,, of the Telesco and McCoy regime,, This year is the make it or break it year of their plan.. 3rdplace and another 9-7 year wont attract more fans and the threats of leaving will not either. The Chargers are on the clock.. and its ticking... The Rivers regime is closer to the end as well as the gates.. career.. Draft day , the chargers need to make a big move and get that stud runner like a gurley , or gordon.. or Get that franchise QB?? and of course get some corn fed line men to block fOR rivers, as they make that swan song run to the big game.. Are the chargers making the right moves? Right now,, they are making safe steady moves,, We as fans are hoping draft day will create a new era,, just like THE LT , drew brees years when they were contenders ,, and not pretenders.. Its been a while since the fans expected the chargers to win their games.. Now,, the fans are hoping , and wishing they win.. and that that is not to formula for winning in the NFL.. Until my next blog.. Keep the faith, but also be realistic about this season.. Its gonna be a dog fight in the AFC west , because all of the teams have improved ....

Its funny the charger fans like to laugh at other teams miseries,, but most of those teams the fans laugh at have won a Superbowl or more,, The rams, saints, buccaneers, raiders , and 49ers,, have all won one or more. I know that's past history,, but guess what? If I was a fan of theirs,, I would say ok,!!!, we may suck now,, but have you won anything ? The San Diego Chargers have some of the most passionate fans I have ever met,.. despite having a team that has never won anything, The 1963 AFL championship with only 8 teams , doesn't mean much to the NFL .. and many of us weren't even born to feel that thrill.
Bottom line: The State of the San Diego chargers is this? The team is not interested in playing in mission Valley, yes its convenient , but studies have shown its a waste land with contaminated soil and ground water , due to those oil tanks you can see nearby,, Also the water district owns the land and they are difficult to deal with along with all San Diego agencies.. The NFL WANTS TO sell those luxury seats , that SAN DIEGAN cant afford,,, the NFL has changed its a money game now,... gambling , and making money is whats its all about., In LA.. you have rich people, actors, singers , dancers, politicians. businessman that can buy those luxury seats for thousands of dollars,, The tail gating scene is a no money activity,, because most of the people buy their own beer and food and don't spend money at the game,, or even attend,,, ?
Rivers is pissed off, he stated he wants nothing to do with LA, and I don't blame him,,, but he will play out his last year as a lame duck player, and throw to gates and allen.. and hope the others step it up.. Oliver and woodhead will make plays ..and the defense will play good enough to win 8 or 9 games, but a contender ? Based on what they have or let go ,, this team is weaker than it was a year ago.. resigning players that were injured last year to protect rivers,, wouldn't make me feel good about rivers health? And he knows what!! But its what the chargers have done historically,, build up the fans,, only to disappoint or choke in the playoffs,, Yes.. it;s a hard reality. but check out the stats and history.. The chargers when it mattered the most blown chances to be a champion, because they let go of coaches and players that demand and deserve the big money, But like every year , they will make moves, draft some good players and play exciting , if not consistent winning football, and we will as fans,will wish and pray and even hope they can win.. But in today's NFL.. the formula for success , is winning consistently , and having a formula that works.. The chargers are still in search of that formula,, and after 2 years,, of the Telesco and McCoy regime,, This year is the make it or break it year of their plan.. 3rdplace and another 9-7 year wont attract more fans and the threats of leaving will not either. The Chargers are on the clock.. and its ticking... The Rivers regime is closer to the end as well as the gates.. career.. Draft day , the chargers need to make a big move and get that stud runner like a gurley , or gordon.. or Get that franchise QB?? and of course get some corn fed line men to block fOR rivers, as they make that swan song run to the big game.. Are the chargers making the right moves? Right now,, they are making safe steady moves,, We as fans are hoping draft day will create a new era,, just like THE LT , drew brees years when they were contenders ,, and not pretenders.. Its been a while since the fans expected the chargers to win their games.. Now,, the fans are hoping , and wishing they win.. and that that is not to formula for winning in the NFL.. Happy St Patricks Day and Happy Birthday " Black Beauty !" ..Inspired by Car guys...
Happy St Patricks Day - and Happy Birthday " black beauty !",,,
Well for a day all of us Irish or not , can share in the festivities.. Well quick history lesson. St Patrick's day or the feast of St Patrick,, who died according to history ,, between AD 385461.. Well anyways,, St Patrick is supposed to commemorate Saint Patrick , who taught , preached Christianity to Ireland. It also to celebrate the Irish culture and heritage. Which is celebrated around the world , with parades and festivities.. The Shamrock , or the wearing of green originated to explain the Holy Trinity to pagan believers. terms like Luck of the Irish came about , with the wearing of green. Like the color of money , Green is supposed to represent prosperity and health.. Like a green garden , or lawn.. Thus the short and brief history of the celebrations of St Patrick..
Now ,, to my meaning of St Patricks day,, Well 3 years ago from today ... Months before retiring , my lovely and devoted wife ,, took me, dragged me to the dodge dealership in temecula ca.. and off we went, but to be honest , my thoughts were camaro and mustang,, even to that day.. In fact I drove by the dealership , because I still wanted to look or test drive the mustang and camaro again,, but wifey insisted we try the dodge challenger,, Earlier in the week , she saw a toxic range Challenger with a black racing stripe,, but we got there too late,, sold,, not surprised,, not that i come to think about it,, well anyways,, we drop by and the first salesman,,, doesn't even give me a second look.. but the next one,,sales man,,, glenn, was more aggressive and gave me a run for my money,, We boxed around ,, testing each others knowledge, and he showed me a muscle car , with the chrome nag wheels , but no leather seats, and all the Fancy instruments stuff that the current car I have now,.. But i thought its a muscle car, the simpler the better,, But wifey , saw " black beauty".. Pitch black with red hash mark stripes.. now remember,, it was a rainy day and the cars just didn't look as spectacular,,, as you would think,, But I get in, and it was like love at first sight, the salesman grin,,and said 'thats the top of line RT , and he started explaining the remote start , the dvd, / sirius radio ,, etc ,, blue tooth.. leather seats,, heated seats, and i was hooked before the test drive,, but he said ,, lets takke a ride. and what a ride?!?! Like i said it was raining, the roads were wet. and off we went,, he took me to a back lot area ,, track area,, and he started doing donuts.. and speeding like we stole the car.. then he stopped and said,, its your turn.. at first i was shy,, but soon afterwards, I was doing the same thing,, but I stopped because wifey said,, don't wreck it,,!!, haha.. but anyways,, I loved it,, the feel of the car on the road,, the speed ,, and the handling were something special,, Like I said many times over .. I drove the Chargers, Camaro's and mustangs,, and i was thrilled to drive them.. But as sal , my long time friend, or Alvin,, the European car addict,,, You know when you found the car of your dreams or b my case budget,, and I always thought you pick the car,, its almost like the car picked me.. now. the whole day negotians Witt he car salesman and wifey was long and drawn out.. But after wards,, I was smiling and driving home in a new 2012 DODGE CHALLENGER RT, PITCH BLACK .. meaning the darkest black they sell.. No metallics. just dark black,, like my hair,, well except fr the shades of Gray.. but a beautiful car in deed.. and now St Patricks day 4 ever,, will be the day I celebrate the Irisg heritage , but also the ownership day of my beloved " Black Beauty!" and thus the many blogs about the events I endure owning this car,, to the cops ,, following me,, to people following me,, to car wrecked near the challenger and a near death, experience when my car was nearly side swiped in San Diego I nearly could of been crushed, because my co-worker was distracted by my car,, yikes,, but anyways, as we celebrate St Patricks day. I will also celebrate my bad ass muscle car,, and take it for a spin ... and proudly drive my car today,, and enjoy the fact ,, God has blessed me with a great family,,, and wife. and of course health,, Bit also,, a car or like my wifey calls it ' The mistress or the other woman.. because I pamper , love and take care of that car,,more than myself.. and anyone that knows me well.. I love myself.. so this car gets alot of tender loving care,, its really hard to explain.. just ask someone with that special car and look into their eyes,, and see how much pasion and effort they put in, making their rides,,, their own... Its an addictive feeling and a cool feeling to have,, knowing ,, you have something that is an extension of ones personality,, and its a apart of every car guy or gal that loves their car or truck.. Its a passionate love affair that never ends, ad one thing,, car lovers have with one another,, there is never enough pictures,, taken or times in the day to talk or share about our cars and trucks,, if you want to start up a never ending conversation with car lovers,, start talking about cars,, or let them talk about their stories,, it will never end.. haha,, Until my next BlACK BEAUTY BLOG,, ENJOY , DRIVE SAFE AND HAVE A GREAT LIFE.. and if you dare,, ask one of the car lovers about their cars and take a ride,, who knows? MID - LIFE SOCAL CAR CLUB- INSPIRED BY SAL AND AL. AZTECS 4LIFE!!
MID LIFE SOCAL CAR CLUB - INSPIRED BY SAL AND AL .. AZTECS 4LIFE!!
Well Congrats to Alvin and Sal !!!!, for buying some awesome looking cars, I know how you guys feel. I made the call or the move 3 years with " Black Beauty!" I know the sleepless nights, the constant looking and staring and siting in ones car for hours..haha.... I also re call the days of washing , waxing , and proudly driving around town..I still do?!!haha That new car smell is the ultimate,, and at our age,,, I'm saying How great we are at keeping cars look new despite how long we hold them.. This is my opinion is our last big car purchase unless we win the lotto, which I play .. always.. But fro now,, reality check is ,, this is it!! and I''m so happy for the both of you,,
Now Why we love our cars. To us,,, We look at a car as not a vehicle that takes you to point a to point b.. We look at our cars now. as a extension of our personality.. Yes,, I know how can you say a bunch of parts made out of plastic , fiberglass , steel , glass etc. as a extension to a human being,, Well,, its really hard to explain., and unless you lived the life and have a car that you really wanted,, well within our budgets,, I mean the Ferrari's , or Maserati's etc,, are truly the dream car super cars, but for us,, The BEAMERS. THE STANGS OR MOPARS ,, are good enough.. Its funny,, when I saw comment regarding my friend Sal .. waiting and searching for cars,, it seemed like it took years,, To be honest,, I spent more time researching my muscle car purchase , than buying my house,,, In fact I bought my house while I was on leave from Japan... and close the deal within 45 days..or less.. It took me years and alot of test drives,,, and finally a movie FAST FIVE to finally decide on Black Beauty.. A suped up 2012 Dodge Challenger!!
Now to my boys,, I love how the cars look. and Nothing shines like a Black new car.. But we all know keeping a black car clean is a daily chore.. Heres what I do!
1) Keep is garaged always
2) Place or wipe down car daily with Meguiars detailer or Mothers.. It depend on whats on sale !
3) I wash my car every week,,,
4) I try to park in parking structures and i have to,,, I park outside away from other cars and away from tress.. I hate bird shit.. But whenit happens I used the detail er to wipe it off right then and there.
5) I wax my car 3- 4 times a year.. From Cleaner wax to polish to ultimate wax...
oh.. after a rainy day I wash it immediately to get that acid rain off car.. I know its alot of work.. But based on the pictures posted by sal and al.. I know they do the same if not more..
Now Congrats to Sal.. I love Mustangs,, even though I dont own one,, I came close,, I was thinking very hard on getting the Boss Mustang,, and if challenger didn't entice me. Mustang it would of been.. But as Sal and Al,, can attest,,, Sometimes,, The car just picks you,, once you sit in it and drive it,, you know if its meant for you.,It just or must feel right,, You know, Its something manly , visceral,, its something that gives you primal scream in your heart and mind.. You just know,. go ask them,, they will tell you,, they knew once they sat in the car and played with it,, during a test drive,, and boom.. you know its meant for you,, I mean.. those days are precious and I applaud Sal and Al in making the choices based on what you want..Because I know when I opened up about what kind of car I wanted,, I heard all the comment's,, Muscle car,,, luxury car.. etc.. In the end.. the choices were made by what was in our hearts.
For them I know,, they had ideas what they wanted, performance, looks style,, comfort,, but what make the seal deal was.. how they felt driving it around,, Did they feel it was them.?!?.. I mean,,, It hard to explain,, but when they found that car, and drove it,. It made them feel like a King, a Big Boss and player.. I mean,, The car has to feel right , I mean. Some of us have particular driving styles some like to speed, and other like to cruise,, and others look for creature comforts.. For Mr Alvin.. Trulu loves classy cars.. I applaud you bro,, and Im so happy for you!! enjoy it bro!!.. European styling is a cut above and they feel so luxurious.. but to me.. It want for me.. I wanted something that made you feel like the car,, Like a muscle car,, its little rougher. it has less of smooth ride, but it has that muscle car feel.. feeling the road,, hearing the sounds of the motor and exhaust is part of the effect owning a muscle car,, and of course the looks and styling plays into it too.. But a European car just commands respect, because they are great looking cars with great durability and performance.. While the American Muscle,, not only commands it they demand it and take it.. It has that look and styling that says,, " Get out of my way,, !' It has that street outlaw.. look.. Believe me,. I have been tracked, followed and speed radars placed on me almost daily.. how do I know,, I have a $300. dollarr radar detector Cobra .. and scanners... to protect myself.. I know.. I must have alot of tickets,, to be honest I have 1 speeding ticket in 3 years,, not bad.. considering I talked my way out of two others and slowed down on numerous others,,, Lucky,, maybe,, but if you ever get a chance to ride with Sal or Al,, the need for speed is a addictive feel!! I know I HOW IT FEELS.. AND many of you need to ask Alvin, its the coolest feeling in the world to buy a new car with that new car smell and feel.. and just the fact ,, we have a car we are proud of and love it.. Like a woman.. We love looks, style and of course performance.. That's why my wife calls beauty " The Mistress, or the other woman,,,! Because I spend so much time with her and I pamper her like I'm courting a girl in my youth.,, you guys remember.?!?!. Wow.. oh what a feeling, my friends are feeling,,, enjoy it bro's,,, it will never end.. haha.. Until my next blog.. Have a great day and night .. 4ever young guys and gals!! Enjoy it!!

Well its the time of the year , and will the chargers make moves? I love the resigning of flowers,, he is a great rock in the secondary , along with verret and Weddle , we have a pretty solid secondary.. The Bolts to to find another safety to replace Gilchrist.. Perhaps that's a draft day move.. The signing of Jacoby Jones is a safe and experimental signing, Sure,, he is a great return man.. and a questionable wide out,, lst year he only caught 8 balls,, maybe he can help stretch the field,, for the alllen, inman, floyd and gates.. The signing or stealing of OT( FRANKLIN)from the Broncos,.. is genius, anything to weaken the broncos , the team the bolts have to beat to win the AFC WEST,, the broncos also lost Julius Thomas,, a little bit of a surprise,, but the broncos are redesigning their game plans..
Now.. do the chargers take anyone from the top free agents? Do the chargers resign Ryan Mathews.. I know,,he;s always hurt, he fumbles too much. but he does know the system,, and when healthy as good as any other back with the exception of Adrian Peterson.. but that's another story..
If the chargers are smart , resign him to a prove it to me contract , like the one they made for jones,, make it a 2 year with incentives,, like, gain 1200 yds,,start all the games ,, etc.. and lets see what the California boy can do.. I feel he has felt or dealt with the LT comparison, so unfair,, LT was one of the greatest players ever to play the game and to compare RM to LT was so ridiculous,, but charger fans were spoiled and thus expected alot from RM , because of that,, Being a 1st round pick was also the problem too.. Like I said incentive laden contract ,, and lets see what happens,, but I still feel they need to draft a good solid running back, for insurance issues,, I like oliver and woodhead , but they are more role running backs, nit your every down ,, grind it out runner late in the game,, But I still like what the back field has to offer,, But it doesn't need a upgrade ,, its debatable to keep him or let him go so the bolts can go after a solid back in the draft..

Rivers a one big hit from retirement, so the time is now for the chargers,, make those moves,, and lets see what happen.. the bolts are no longer a young and up and coming team like the raiders,, they are a seasoned group that needs a few roster moves to make it all the way.. Its time the chargers take chances in free agency,, like go after a Michale crab tree at wide out or a Adrian Peterson at running back.. as much I love play protectors.. you also need play makers and game changers,., like the jacoby jones signing.. teams will now kick the ball deep,, into the end zones,, or kick it out of bounce and just take the 35 yard start for the opposing teams..Like I said great pick.. now only if he can materialize as a burner at wide out to open up things for allen, inman, floyd, gates, royal etc.. so far so good. But One more big signing could make the difference.. I mean , with all this charger talk about going to LA,, the charger fans need something to feel good about,, what a bout a big free agent signing that will make a difference.. The fans have gone through enough already with all the threats , plans and etc , regarding the charger stadium issues,, if anything. the chargers owe it to the fans to make some big moves to show they are serious about winning.. and what a better way to gain momentum with the voters and fans if the chargers make a big run in 2015,, or even win it all!! I mean,, the time is running on the Rivers watch. he needs people to help him,, and if they want to create that frenzy with the fans,, what a better way than to a contender who makes a strong run to the big game.... But time will tell. and so far so good,... resign those core players that stabilize the team,, and take a chance at some of those play makers in the draft,, like a AP, or Crabtree or andre johnson.. Just saying,,,the chargers were pretty good last year , but its clear they needed a stronger running game , and that deep threat at wide out.Take a chance chargers, forget about history of getting burned with some free agents,.. we all know selecting players in free agency or the draft is really rolling the dice,.. Some work out other don't, but the window of winning it all is open as long as Rivers is here,, Once he's gone,,, Kellen Clemens? Doesn't seem like the answer,, the new charger qb.. will be more of the trend,, a running , scrambling running qb.. the drop back, pocket passer only qb like Rivers ,, is just a handful of those die hards.. the chargers realize that , and have made the right moves on the line.. Now find another play maker , game changer and also find that pass rusher and hard hitting line back and safety to create monster defense,,, Jut my thoughts, but I'm sure all of you agree. The Chargers are making the right moves so far and the AFC west is going to be a shoot out with the Broncos , Chiefs, and Raiders all improving and looking to contend.. Its going to be fun.. and I cant wait until Fan Fest , which I have attended since the LT days,, and having my son reach out and get autograph's and pictures.. It will be a fun off season,, and Lets see what happens,, like I said only time will tell , but so far so good,, Go Chargers and Lets get this stadium deal worked out,,,, Have a great day !! Well its the time of the year , and will the chargers make moves? I love the resigning of flowers,, he is a great rock in the secondary , along with verret and Weddle , we have a pretty solid secondary.. The Bolts to to find another safety to replace Gilchrist.. Perhaps that's a draft day move.. The signing of Jacoby Jones is a safe and experimental signing, Sure,, he is a great return man.. and a questionable wide out,, lst year he only caught 8 balls,, maybe he can help stretch the field,, for the alllen, inman, floyd and gates.. The signing or stealing of OT( FRANKLIN)from the Broncos,.. is genius, anything to weaken the broncos , the team the bolts have to beat to win the AFC WEST,, the broncos also lost Julius Thomas,, a little bit of a surprise,, but the broncos are redesigning their game plans..
Now.. do the chargers take anyone from the top free agents? Do the chargers resign Ryan Mathews.. I know,,he;s always hurt, he fumbles too much. but he does know the system,, and when healthy as good as any other back with the exception of Adrian Peterson.. but that's another story..
If the chargers are smart , resign him to a prove it to me contract , like the one they made for jones,, make it a 2 year with incentives,, like, gain 1200 yds,,start all the games ,, etc.. and lets see what the California boy can do.. Thursday thoughts : Why Buy Life Insurance?
THURSDAY THOUGHTS.. WHY BUY LIFE INSURANCE?
First of all I would like to thank everyone to letting spend a few moments to explain financial issue with you.
Why buy life Insurance. ? its a question I'm sure everyone used , including myself. Its really quite simple,, I love my family , my wife and kids..
What do I mean? Well , when we die?! Yes , one of these days, weeks , or months or years , father time , or mother nature is gonna come calling and I have seen many of my own family and Friends pass away in the recent years.. Its just the bare facts,,
Now,, next question? Do you have money for final expenses, which is funeral exposes, which can cost as much or more than 7,000 dollars,, I know,, I will deal with that when it happens.. But in this day in age, with the tight budgets we all live under , the taxes, the mortgage, the rent , the car notes,, yes,, its alot to think about ,, where do you get such cash?
ok.. Some of us have savings accounts, IRA accounts, perhaps savings bonds,, etc. but isn't that money fro retirement years,, Just remember the older you get, the less time to make that money.. and for many of us,, time is running in us.. That's why I bought life insurance for all my family members.
1) When we die, I have a cash pay out for my family members , or vice versa, I know when someone dies in the family, its heart breaking , its emotional, and often times, its really difficult to make the simplest of decisions,, That's where life insurance comes into play,, When you get the cash pay out, you can pay fro final expenses, the family get togethers, the unsecured financial burdens the member could of had.. repaying debts etc.. It also peace of mind for the family members. It gives you that financial freedom to make choices, like ,
1) Sell the house ,for more income for your future.
2) Payoff the house to help yourself and family members who are still alive
3) financial security for the future, we all know , losing a loved one is emotional troubling, because we will miss their smiles, jokes, comments,, but having that life insurance policy , you can alleviate some of that pain by having a life insurances policy to cover your needs as life goes on.. I know we all pray and wish we will win the lotto, and life will be great..
But lets be practical. without a plan, with a security blanket, your playing with your financial future,, We all see homeless people or people losing their homes, in my opinion, they failed to plan for the future,, perhaps they lost their job, or spouse, or both,, having a life insurance policy could of made the difference of maintaining that home, or making better and wiser choices.. I know, who do I talk to ? Who do I trust? Its a tough subject to think or talk about.. Well There are a alot of Financial adviser's around,, some maybe your relative or close friend, and many work for free so to speak,until you buy their policy or plan, so don't be pressured to thinking I have to buy, its not like a car salesman or what who are sharks competing for your dollar. Most adviser's want to advise and assist you , whether its life insurance with cash accumulation prospects, which is money accumulated over the years you can have or use at your disposal, it only reduces your pay out amount on your policy, so whats 50,000 - 100,000 reduced from a 500,000 or more policy, if you use that money wisely, That's the key use your money wisely.. That's why I chose to have policy for all my kids,, because when i die, they will be covered, and v ice versa. Or the ones they love will have something to live on.. I know some will say its a waste of money? Well that's your opinion, but don't we all waste money on cars, toys, clothes, etc anyway,, why not protect yourself and the family you love.. But to each is own, but as time goes on, the harder for alot of us to save money,, So the goal , is to start saving now!, pay down debts! credit card balances.. , and work smarter than harder for your future,
Bottom line: I believe life insurance is a important financial instrument to have in case of the untimely death of you ,your spouse or other family members, Isn't life more important than your car, your house, your valuables, yet we insure all those things.. Its something to ponder,, and if you feel the need, Go out and seek out financial adviser's,, They may be closer than you think. What to expect ?
Well LT, the man who brought the chargers back from losing to winning football. Thats gonna be nice to see him there if anything ..Moral, spiritual support. Now expect alot of people to show up and speak up...
My take: enough is enough.. 13 years and counting , we need to find a location!!
For me.. whats wrong with THE "Q"
Why I love that spot..
1) Its free way friendly .. to the 15 , 5 , 805 , 8,, etc..
2) Trolleys go right there for people who don't want to drive or risk their cars getting egged on or whatever.. or those that love to drink and let others drive you home..
3) Its central to the San Diego area.. Anyone and everyone has a good idea how to get there,, any other location , will mean a relearning of location directions.. In other words,, its known to everyone in the community.
Now if I had to think of other sites,,
1) I love the Chula Vista area,, I mean there is 200,000 plus people living in that area of San Diego.. so that would be nice spot .. There are plenty of freeways access , so to speak, but it would be terrible on game days for residents there,, but one day out of the week, its not bad,, but the again,, I don't live there and we all know when someone lives at their place,, they all love or we all love our peace and quiet..
2) Chula Vista is a growing city with vibrancy and plenty of things to do,, You have malls, you have theatre's, nice eating places,, and of course its a city of the wealthy inclined.. They could probably seel quite a few of those luxury box seats that the NFL wants,, and the city wants to grow and expand.. I mean.. The Chargers, Aztecs, High school football, soccer ,, rock concerts, etc.. It will make Chula Vista a even more happening place to be.. if not already!?!
Any other sites?
1) Oceanside,, too far and not really San Diego,, but if they can find a feasible location why not.? But don't count on it..
2) Downtown,. the old bus /trolley storage lots.. ?? Nice, but it would be a tight fit,, and to be honest,,, it would cost too much to make it stadium feasible.. I mean.. Taking out those trolleys and buses , now where do you place them.. and parking would be a mess , unless you created parking garages with 3 - 4 floors like what we see at casinos.. It would end the tailgate scene,, that I'm not really into , but I know there is die hards that like that..
But the main topic,, is finacials,,, ?
!) who is going to pay for it? The NFL will pitch in ?, The Owners.. The San Diego tax payers.. that's the biggest question or forseen issues are
The San Diego tax payers are usually the older , retired from the navy conservative thinking that.. W would rather have better infrastructure, a larger Airport ,, etc.. are more needed, than a football team that has done some great things.. but?? Have never won a championship,, I'm sorry the 1963 AFL Championship with 8 teams doesn't mean a World Championship.. Because ,, when they merged into the NFL.. That team was average at best,, so the logic they could of , would of beaten the NFL champs of that year,, I wouldn't bet on it., But its an argument,, but an argument your [probably going to lose..

Who is going to pay?
How much does it cost for each tax payer in San Diego? 100 dollars a year, for the 2 million plus , for how many years> etc.. At least as a tax payer you have an idea ,, if its worth it.. Despite the highest taxes in the nation,, The San Diegans pay high prices for the dining , for the entertainment , the scenery , the gas, the electric the everything.. San Diego is called the Americas finest city,, but it is also one of the most expensive places,, to live in,, but its does cost each of us,, money from our pockets when we pay for gas, food, electric,, etc.. But paradise costs , just like anything else in life.. that's worth having..
Bottom line:
Lets stop messing around,,,, !!
1) decide on location
2) Show me the money.. How much will it cost , and who is going to pay for it? and how much ?4
3) Check your ego's and lets get together and make it happen.. If the bolts mean so much for the city,, the mayor and council members and the the citizens,, need to decide and make it happen,, Because LA wants a team.. Be it the rams, the raiders , or the chargers..I know, alot of people think its a bluff, perhaps,, but business is business,,, anyone that sees a opportunity,, a great businessman , takes advantage.. of any chances available.. and the chargers are like no other team.. if they can work a deal,, they are going to make it happen.. Loyalty is one thing, but the color of money is another.. I mean,, The Spanos family would love to see their team estimated at a higher level.. For example,, The Clippers , were sold for 2 billion dollars,, do the math.. the chargers could be sold for that and then some,, who wouldn;t want to make that leap? But lets hope,, this meeting tonight, gets the wheels turning,, but don't be surprised, behind close doors ,, the chargers are working or trying to work out a deal with others.. Its just makes good business sense,, something alot of San Diegans don't think about, or prepare for.. THE NFL is money machine,, and the SAN DIEGO citizens need to think big picture,,!! and make San Diego,, grow leaps and bounds,, I mean,, La Jolla Shores, Torrey Pines, Chula Vista, Mira Mesa,, Mission Valley, we have places to see and enjoy,, but without a Football team and a place people want to see and attend.. Don't expect anything.. San Diego is a tourist driven city ,, and with the Chargers, they have that entity people will recognize,, But we will see.. ? Tonight,, Lets hope cooler heads prevail, because,, the San Diego Padres,, are making strides in making them a San Diego friendly team.. They have made moves.. and making moves to relevant.. Do the chargers have the same resolve,,, we will find out tonight and the days going forward.. Lets see what happens,, but 13- 14 years and counting.. and now true plan ... I can understand the Spanos,, frustration.. But don't be angry if they do what good business men do.. they are looking for bigger and better things for themselves and their future's,,, Are the chargers worth it,,? 3) Its central to the San Diego area.. Anyone and everyone has a good idea how to get there,, any other location , will mean a relearning of location directions.. In other words,, its known to everyone in the community.
Now if I had to think of other sites,,
1) I love the Chula Vista area,, I mean there is 200,000 plus people living in that area of San Diego.. so that would be nice spot .. There are plenty of freeways access , so to speak, but it would be terrible on game days for residents there,, but one day out of the week, its not bad,, but the again,, I don't live there and we all know when someone lives at their place,, they all love or we all love our peace and quiet..
2) Chula Vista is a growing city with vibrancy and plenty of things to do,, You have malls, you have theatre's, nice eating places,, and of course its a city of the wealthy inclined.. They could probably seel quite a few of those luxury box seats that the NFL wants,, and the city wants to grow and expand.. I mean.. The Chargers, Aztecs, High school football, soccer ,, rock concerts, etc.. It will make Chula Vista a even more happening place to be.. if not already!?!

1) Oceanside,, too far and not really San Diego,, but if they can find a feasible location why not.? But don't count on it..
2) Downtown,. the old bus /trolley storage lots.. ?? Nice, but it would be a tight fit,, and to be honest,,, it would cost too much to make it stadium feasible.. I mean.. Taking out those trolleys and buses , now where do you place them.. and parking would be a mess , unless you created parking garages with 3 - 4 floors like what we see at casinos.. It would end the tailgate scene,, that I'm not really into , but I know there is die hards that like that..
But the main topic,, is finacials,,, ?
!) who is going to pay for it? The NFL will pitch in ?, The Owners.. The San Diego tax payers.. that's the biggest question or forseen issues are
The San Diego tax payers are usually the older , retired from the navy conservative thinking that.. W would rather have better infrastructure, a larger Airport ,, etc.. are more needed, than a football team that has done some great things.. but?? Have never won a championship,, I'm sorry the 1963 AFL Championship with 8 teams doesn't mean a World Championship.. Because ,, when they merged into the NFL.. That team was average at best,, so the logic they could of , would of beaten the NFL champs of that year,, I wouldn't bet on it., But its an argument,, but an argument your [probably going to lose..

2) The money guys need to come up with a financial plan.. what it will cost?
Who is going to pay?
How much does it cost for each tax payer in San Diego? 100 dollars a year, for the 2 million plus , for how many years> etc.. At least as a tax payer you have an idea ,, if its worth it.. Despite the highest taxes in the nation,, The San Diegans pay high prices for the dining , for the entertainment , the scenery , the gas, the electric the everything.. San Diego is called the Americas finest city,, but it is also one of the most expensive places,, to live in,, but its does cost each of us,, money from our pockets when we pay for gas, food, electric,, etc.. But paradise costs , just like anything else in life.. that's worth having..
Bottom line:
Lets stop messing around,,,, !!
1) decide on location
2) Show me the money.. How much will it cost , and who is going to pay for it? and how much ?4
3) Check your ego's and lets get together and make it happen.. If the bolts mean so much for the city,, the mayor and council members and the the citizens,, need to decide and make it happen,, Because LA wants a team.. Be it the rams, the raiders , or the chargers..I know, alot of people think its a bluff, perhaps,, but business is business,,, anyone that sees a opportunity,, a great businessman , takes advantage.. of any chances available.. and the chargers are like no other team.. if they can work a deal,, they are going to make it happen.. Loyalty is one thing, but the color of money is another.. I mean,, The Spanos family would love to see their team estimated at a higher level.. For example,, The Clippers , were sold for 2 billion dollars,, do the math.. the chargers could be sold for that and then some,, who wouldn;t want to make that leap? But lets hope,, this meeting tonight, gets the wheels turning,, but don't be surprised, behind close doors ,, the chargers are working or trying to work out a deal with others.. Its just makes good business sense,, something alot of San Diegans don't think about, or prepare for.. THE NFL is money machine,, and the SAN DIEGO citizens need to think big picture,,!! and make San Diego,, grow leaps and bounds,, I mean,, La Jolla Shores, Torrey Pines, Chula Vista, Mira Mesa,, Mission Valley, we have places to see and enjoy,, but without a Football team and a place people want to see and attend.. Don't expect anything.. San Diego is a tourist driven city ,, and with the Chargers, they have that entity people will recognize,, But we will see.. ? Tonight,, Lets hope cooler heads prevail, because,, the San Diego Padres,, are making strides in making them a San Diego friendly team.. They have made moves.. and making moves to relevant.. Do the chargers have the same resolve,,, we will find out tonight and the days going forward.. Lets see what happens,, but 13- 14 years and counting.. and now true plan ... I can understand the Spanos,, frustration.. But don't be angry if they do what good business men do.. they are looking for bigger and better things for themselves and their future's,,, Are the chargers worth it,,? We will find out very soon..But if anything,, Lets have a productive night and finally have something with substance,,, in order to Save your bolts,, Forget the past ,, and lets live for the future and sometimes,, you have to take a chance, a risk,, in order to gain... But talking needs to stop,, and lets get this done.,.. Enough is enough and lets the powers to be,, Work together and make it happen.!!, and Lets hope tonight.. is the start of a new beginning for SAN DIEGO ECONOMY .. and its place in the USA , as the true Americas Finest City..
