SUPERBOWL 49 - PATRIOTS VS SEAHAWKS. THE SOURCES PICKS!!
Finally , the game is nearly here, enough of deflate gate, lying statements, the inconsistency of the NFL.. Bottom line.. We the fans of their teams of the players and of the league,, Just want to see the game.. We are eager to see the over the top commercials and the pretty California girl Katey Perry!!
For me.. Many times,, the commercials and the halftime shows out do the game.. Like last year.. I know we had some classics like the steelers come from behind win against the cardinals,, the Ravens -49ers , was a classic also.. But now my take on this game..
The Patriots are the LAS Vegas favorite because ,, they have Tom Brady , winner of 3 SUPERBOWL.S .. pre -spy gate,, after that 2 losses to the New York Giants,,, Now deflate gate.. more drama, media hype and attacking of a team that has a chance at history,, They could be the team of all ages,, I mean 6 SUPERBOWL appearance for Brady and belichick.. whether you like , love or hate them.. That's an amazing stat.. In this day of free agency and no player loyalty.. That's amazing.. Brady has a chance to match the great Montana and Bradshaw with 4 rings,,, But lets not forget,, both those teams had amazing defenses,, something at times overlooked,, They won because they had defenses that dictated what a offense did or can do..
Now my puck.. The Patriots are a great inside team,, what do I mean,,they like to use the slants , the tight end,, ala,, The San Diego Chargers, but one big difference, the Pats have a much better qb with a blount force running back.. I know,, blount is head ache,, go ask Mike Tomlin of the steelers.. Big mistake in my opinion to let him go, they could of used him when bell went down,, huh? Karma don't play,, well anyways,, The pats don't really have a vertical game, and the seahwks are built to stop that,, now that they don't have out side threats to worry about, the Patriots will use the slant routes, the short routes that drive the seahawks crazy.. They will stick and move like a mayweather and just keep scoring .. they wont overwhelm, but they will wear you down,, If the seahwaks get tao far behind they will lose,, They are not built for big comebacks.. despite THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WITH THE PACKERS..
Now for the seahawks, they must keep the score down. they must grind it out,because the patriots don't like playing that type of football.. Not saying they can. they prefer not too, Run the ball. control the clock and keep brady on the sideline..If the hawks gain over 100 yards rushing with lynch and another big effort by wilson.. that will be enough to wear down the patriots.. As good as revis is at covering people,, he will struggle trying to run down wilson or lynch..
Both coaches are master minds at in game adjustments,, and they both know how to manage egos// he will be fun to watch,, but the pressure is on the Patriots,, they have the media against them. the legacy,, is one the line,, but my take is ,, if your that good, then why cheat ? Then why look for advantages ? Why? Well my take is they don't really think they are that good, they feel they need to cheat to win, I know nothing has been proven,, that's life.. even though you can smell it and all the evidence points to it.. you still have to prove it,, and right now.. its all allegations, it all speculation,, and in the end.. whatever right? But to the men that care,, what a motivation to play hard and take the heart and soul away from the Patriots,,, Honestly,, The Patriots are in a Win and lose situation,, if they win,, the talk about deflate gate, the data about a lack of fumbles during the season, the speculation,, and the constant hate from the media and fans,, if they lose.. the hate will contimue and they will labeled as cheaters " no matter what the NFL finds or don't.. So the pressure is on,, and based on their previous attempts , spy gate,, they lost,, and I can see the same thing happening,, I mean, they have alot of eyes on them ,, and scrutiny,, that would make anyone uneasy,, you heard Brady say.. My feelings were hurt,, of course they were,, but what about all the players and coaches that played fairly, and lost those game, lost their jobs, careers, money,, etc. because they thought they were playing on a even field,, the fact their is speculation or suspicion regarding those games,, has to make people hate ,pray and wish the pats lose,, and to be honest that's a tough thought to think about.. But that's football.. it mean, its hard work, it exposes fakes and phonies,, and come Sunday, we will find out how injured the seahakws are? How good Lynch is under the big lights,, How great is brady and wilson under the pressure.. This is now and based on past experiences,, Wilson is a winner and can win in today's game of offensive prowess.. Brady bunch has lost 2 superbowls against less then deserving new york giants in my opinion. but defense is what helped the giants win,, and based on that I really think the seahawks have enough play breakers on defense and mind boggling players to create doubt for the patriots,, its going to be a fun game and battle of wills.. I'm just hoping , its a close and competitive game.. But I can see a blow out win for the seahakws,, because they are suffocating with their defense and like to play with your minds.. The Patriots are great , but they have shown,, they can be beat with physical , in your face football , and they do struggle with a great running back.
My pick is as great as the patriots are, I like how seattle plays defense and they will take away more things than the patriots have. The hawks have played better offenses this year,, MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers , and the Dallas Cowboys,, who have solid running games and passing attacks.. The Patriots are great at hyping past victories,, but since spy gate,, they are 0-2 and they are playing a much better team then those giants. and the hawks are the younger , stronger , and smarter team that doesnt need to cheat or find competitive advantages to win this game, The plain old,, in your face , win the line of scrimmages will dictate the winner,, and I like how the media, the gamblers , the historians are all going for the patriots,, but I look at history and I see a team that lost to the giants in the last minutes of the game,, and have a undefeated season , only to lose in the big game.. Its pressure on the Patriots, whether they want to believe it or not,, and because of that pressure of that and the game itself,, its gonna to wear thin on this team.. The better team, the stronger and faster team will win, and I just have my football smarts saying, the hawks,, just play harder hitting football, and physical football, the pats don't like to play.. In the end.. Come Sunday,, the Real team with character and fight will expose themselves., and based on past Superbowl's.I'm selecting and betting on the team that has done recently, and have played better teams and are battle tested.. Its easy to pick the Patriots, its safe bet so to speak.. But I'm a gambling man and I just like the love , the trust and the efforts I see in the seahawks.. they are a team= TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE.. and it it will be displayed on SUPER SUNDAY,, and if the game sucks,, will is possible.. I'm looking forward to the commercials and the Katy Perry halftime,, show, which could be a better show to watch.. anyways,,, THE SEAHAWKS win because based on my theory defense wins championship , because defense gives you opportunities to score by getting the ball back, defense sets the tone and it also creates a mindset.. The hawks have proven what a suffocating defense can do to a hall of famer in a Big Game. and Tom Brady is no different than Peyton Manning , other than he will lose another superbowl to s superior defense with a great running game , and a coach that knows how to pressure you into making mistakes,, I look for turnovers and mistakes by the patriots , that will give the hawks scoring chances that will decide the game.. WEB REFERENCE WEDNESDAY. The other sources used in my blogs or research purposes.
As a writer , as a blogger , worker , parent , as a student as a constant learner of life. I always look and use other sources for my information. I gather , analyze and intimately form my own opinion or assumptions about a subject or issue,, Its the intellectuals way of displaying information. If course I also use personal experience , because we all know wisdom comes through age or vice versa... We either learned by our youthful indiscretions or not.. Experience is a large component in shaping our thoughts and ideas.. We all have lived different lives and seen different things, and for other things I rather read about close combat war than actually be a part of it. I rather read about police brutality than actually watching it or being a victim,, In other words,, by reading and learning about things we can have a perspective.. Because all cant go to Paris France or see street violence in the inner cities,, so we read about it.. and form o our own realities.. We all decide what is reality and fantasy.. often times when I retell my military of youthful stories.. some say I full of shit,, and others
say what a life? For me.. it doesn't matter you believe me? Or despise me , or what , its my reality , it was my life,, and often times,, memory can exaggerate or eliminate telling facts that could change how the event happened.. But who I respect every ones opinions and ideas,, and besides,, if you don't like what I write or blog. than don't read it am I right? And if you feel so strongly m then unfriend me, No loss on my part,, I lived most of my life without social media and social media friends,, I'm going to be ok,, But one thing is for sure.. I always try to inform, entertain, make people aware of things in life... Its up to you to agree , to say what the heck, or just move on to the next story... Well anyways.. I encourage everyone to seek their own knowledge and understanding of life's events and issues,, By being an informed and educated citizen , you can be part of the process than part of the problem. It bothers me when people don't know their rights , don't know the laws or what their actions will lead to if they continue to behave in unlawful or illegal means.. In life,, in the streets, your credibility is sometimes more important than what you wear what you have or what you drive.. If you come off as a smart ass , sarcastic , uncaring , self centered jerk.. more times than not,, you will make enemies and could get hurt.. But if your sincere, honest and caring, more often than not people will respect you,, but I also understand their is evil and and bad in the world,, and regardless of how you are,, you are subject tho their whims or sins.. But at least,, if your good hearted,, the chances are you will be around good hearted people,, If you surround yourself with shady , undesirables ,, than your chance of bad events occurring in your life,, is multiplied.. The old saying, Guilty by association , is so true,, and often times neglected,, My advice to people is.. if you have doubt , than walk out ,, in other words,, if you are unsure about a new person in the group,,, just be wary,,, Maybe that's why ,, I'm careful who I associate with or party with.. It doesntt take much when people or stranger's get drunk,, the things we say , are often,, misunderstood , and taken inappropriate among stranger's,,, that's why be careful with the people you drink with... I have seen it many times,, in my Navy career , when two differing personalities,,, often clash in violent ways,,, But as I learned in life... we live, we learn and we go on,,, and I also learned to let things go.. when it really doesn't matter? Like arguing about sports , about politics , even religion..? To me,, if I do my job and I'm honest , then what others think don't matter. I mean , you dont pay my bills , or what, What I like or how I spend my money is my business. am I right?.. What matters is my family , my wife, my kids.. Losing their trust or respect is far more damaging than what my best friend , or long time friends , shipmates, etc think... Ok enough of that soap box..

My seven selections:
Senior Nominee:
Mark Tingelhoff- He was offensive lineman 1962-1978- All pro 7 times..
Contributor Nominee:
Ron Wolf- He was the architect for 23 years for the Oakland Raiders where they only had 6 losing seasons..
Modern era Nominee:
Don Coryell- His contributions to the modern day passing game is historical, he Was the first college and professional coach to win one hundred games at each level. His innovated style is still in vogue today , The idea he hasn't been nominated or inducted when others under him Like Fouts , Joiner , Winslow , made into the Hall of Fame.. Its long over due..
Terrel Davis- Another San Diego product and great person,, and NFL analyst , he didn't have a long career due to his knee issues, but with out him the Broncos and John Elway would no be SUPERBOWL WINNERS.. He was a work horse that helped gain those rings..
Junior Seau - The heart and soul of San Diego.. Born and raised and a true icon in Chargers history what Tony Gywnn was to the Padres , Seau is to the chargers. yes, he had a lewd and crude personlaity and he upset people at times, but on the field,, he was a warrior and placed San Diego on its first SUPERBOWL.. He's deserving!!
John Lynch - Another San Diego product , from Torrey Pines high school, great player and statesman for the sport. He is ore than deserving and I'm looking forward to his induction speech. True class act..
Kurt Warner - The ultimate underdog story,, One minute he;s a bagger at a supermarket to NFL elite in the coming years. He had a very unique career, he was the MAN AT ST LOUIS winning a Superbowl. than going the THE GIANTS, and nearly erasing his good deeds, only to resurrect his career at the Arizona cardinals and was a play away fromwinning his second Superbowl.. Great person, statesman and analyst. I'm also looking forwar d to his induction speech..
I also like Tim Brown and Jerome Bettis and I would be surprised if they get in this year..
I would love to see these guys and to be honest are more likely to be inducted , than a Don Coryell selection I made. Its a tough class Jimmy Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Kevin Greene, Charles haley , etc,, Its a tough selection.. But all are deserving.... But I'm hoping My selections are chosen,, and whatever the choices are made I'm looking forward to the emotional speeches and gain respectability for the NFL,,, which has taken a serious integrity hit this year..

Why athletes and Coaches cheat ? Well in today's world , competition , pressure to succeed is tremendous.. Not only in the NFL = Nothing for Losers, but in real life.. To pressure to do well in high school and college and attain a high paying job with prestige is overwhelming.. The pressure is on to do well and be productive in a society that is so caught up with winning and looking good and attaining the material and perception game..
Thus , the NFL, we all know this league and their fans want to win, they want to be called the city of champions , they want to brag about being the best team.Not just winning divisions or conference title,Its about the Lombardi trophy and the rings the players and coaches get after such a accomplishment. To win the SUPERBOWL. is the pinnacle of most sports, because you are called World Champion's, even though its only involve the United States of America,, ok we have occasional games in Canada and the London games. but in the real big picture its only involving American Players.. But there goes the problem too.. The arrogance , the self center, the entitling persona of the NFL is far reaching. In America,, winning is everything , and losers go home. In America , we embrace the champion, champions, until they get too successful, the old saying,, America loves and builds up a underdog, until they became too arrogant and self righteous..
The cheaters in sports , feel entitle , they feel, they have to win, and want to win to keep the feeling going. the feelings of superiority , the feeling of I'm the best,,, Its addictive to be called the greatest or the best. Its a mind rush,, haven't anyone of you ever won a game , or event,, and people recognized you for that.. how did you feel? You feel great.. Well when a superstar wins the big event and has done many times,, they love that feeling,, and when it has happened in awhile they feel deprived and almost delirious in getting that feeling back.. Hence deflate gate? Why cheat when you have a star qb and a pretty good team with a legendary coach.. why? Why ruin the legacy of so many players just because you feel your above the rules? You feel the integrity of the game doesn't matter. Why risk the whole league and its fans having this hatred about your player and coach.. I hear the sentiments from the fans... its males no difference , if you have tapes of teams practices or deflating footballs, or toying with the play book ,, Its hasn't been proven to be a advantage? Ok.. that may be case, then my nest inquiry is this? Then why do? Then why risk the reputation and image of your team and the league? Like I have said in many blogs.. Perception reign's louder than reality.. If people the fans , the other coaches and player's feel your a cheater, than most likely you are ,, in their eyes.. In life or in sports,, teams that have integrity often get the most respect.. the team that plays fair and doesn't show boast or disrespect others get the highest praise,, We call Jerry Rice the greatest because he worked harder than anyone, he took care of himself, he never show boasted or made you look or feel bad,, even though he torched you for a big play. He;s a true man of character , than you have the loud mouth , back stabbing Deion sanders , who not only dew attention to himself , but was a self promoter and hired player going to the highest bidder,, a hired gun to to speak.. The difference of the two is like the black and white paint you may use.. The cheaters of any sports do it because they are pressured, self imposed or peer pressure. they feel they need to win, at all costs, the taste of losing hurts more than taking that risk for winning, and in the NFL.. its seems the risk and reward or even punishment are worth it.. I mean, the glaring inconsistencies in making decisions this year has been the worst in years. Like the ray rice tapes.. You cant find them , but you can find deflated footballs in a timely manner? Or the Adrian Peterson case.. A stiffer penalty where corporal punishment is widely used in America.. but I will say he did go oevr board,, hitting any ones genitals not safe or appropriate and I will say this I wouldn't have him baby sit any of my kids... But he's been fined and suspend and hopefully learning from his transgressions.. That's the issue I have with the NFL. your fast to punish and fine players,, like the Lynch's or the Rices , or Peterson's, but reluctant to punish a popular or infamous player like Brady? Why? because he the poster child of arrogance , because he's made millions for the NFL.. MAYBE it because Robert Kraft is close friends with the Popular Goodell.. It really has been the worst public relations year for the NFL.. We have a commissioner that enforces other things , like lynch grabbing his balls , when another team deflates footballs to gain a competitive advantage,, Its no big deal.. ? Why athletes and Coaches cheat ? Well in today's world , competition , pressure to succeed is tremendous.. Not only in the NFL = Nothing for Losers, but in real life.. To pressure to do well in high school and college and attain a high paying job with prestige is overwhelming.. The pressure is on to do well and be productive in a society that is so caught up with winning and looking good and attaining the material and perception game..
Thus , the NFL, we all know this league and their fans want to win, they want to be called the city of champions , they want to brag about being the best team.Not just winning divisions or conference title,Its about the Lombardi trophy and the rings the players and coaches get after such a accomplishment. To win the SUPERBOWL. is the pinnacle of most sports, because you are called World Champion's, even though its only involve the United States of America,, ok we have occasional games in Canada and the London games. but in the real big picture its only involving American Players.. But there goes the problem too.. The arrogance , the self center, the entitling persona of the NFL is far reaching. In America,, winning is everything , and losers go home. In America , we embrace the champion, champions, until they get too successful, the old saying,, America loves and builds up a underdog, until they became too arrogant and self righteous..

THE STATE OF UNION ADDRESS .JAN 20,2015 THE SOURCES TAKE..
First of all, like usual , his demeanor, his winks and smiles and clever remarks , was funny and entertaining, like a comedian or actor. oh wait.. He's suppose to be the President of the United States, I have nothing against BO , he's likable , he's funny and he's clever.
But he mentions great ideas, paid leave for workers, health care reform, middle class tax cuts , increases taxes on the wealthy. Free education , etc.. But I didn't numbers to substantiate his ideas,, or better yet a systematic plan on how to accomplish these goals,,, or how he going to order or set a meeting with senate to discuss and elaborate more on his ideas and proposals.. I'm sorry ,maybe I'm in the minority of critical thinking's that see assumptions and view fallacies as that.. Just twisted words to make it sound like I'm doing something.. We all have met people that talk alot.. but alot of the times its all about nothing. I mean it sounds good , but has no substance. Its all smoke and mirrors, But that's what happens when people don't get educated, or continue to think for themselves,, Its called critical thinking.. But I'm not surprised , I mean voter apathy, people just giving up.. But guess what when you decide to not partake in the process , than don't complain.. Because you voted or not for the President , or Senators , representatives governors of your states.. Its your fault America.. You get what you pay for,, If you don't participate than don't complain.. Because My argument is this,, if you voted,, you have more of say or I will call you a credible American citizen because you vote,, because you obey the laws, and because you pay your taxes.. and Protect the rights of citizens..
My take.. America,, is that you need to stop whining about things , when you don't partake in voting or writing t your congressman or local Representative.Its your right you duty to know who your heads of state are.. I recall years ago Jay Leno asking the average street person,, simple questions about the US HISTORY,, and laughable that many failed , but I also find it alarming,,, More people know who are the top actors or movies,, over who is the Vice President or Governor of the state , or What are the basic amendments that pertain to them.. Its funny in one case , but also pathetic on the other side..
A great President is not Conservative , or a Liberal , or extremist,, a Great President is a Moderte , is a negotiator, is a compromise is a communicator.. Ok.. Its Unfair to Compare our current President to in my humble opinion President Ronald Reagan. He was a College Football player, A Army Air Military Member , A Actor, sportscaster , a Governor of the great state of California,, and finally the Greatest president I ever knew,, so to speak.. He was bold, he was honest , he was bad tempered, because he cared about this country and didn't take shit from the media or the enemies of the state.. The Military was the strongest ever in American history,, and guess what.. We didn't have as many conflicts that we have now,, Why? because power in numbers,, he also won the cold war without firing a shot. why? because he bankrupt Russia into keeping up with us.. Smart, clever and innovative,, But I know some will say he was arrogant, he was stubborn, and inflexible with his patriotic ideas and thoughts,, But I would have gone to war with that Man because he had the backs of Americans and its military like no other president.. He ruled with a strong fist , be was fair but tough.. He was like your father,,, saying,. Do your best or I will kick you ass.. In other words,, Losing or giving up was not in his nature. I know he may not have been the most intelligent or educated president , but one thing he learned from the military.. You surround yourself with great , smart and experienced adviser's,, and you you never alienated your fellow Democrats or republicans. Like I stated before,, to do well in politics or life , you need to be moderator,, at times to get your ideas and policies to pass,, Its just how things work.. Theirs always going to be a republican house or democratic house,, its called checks and balances.. But its also called being smart about becoming one of the most loved and respected Presidents of all time.. I recall a few times he didn't mind showing true honest anger in public.. If anything, it showed that he really cares, and its not lawyer talk, he was the man of the people,, But enough of that Great Man..
My final take,,, Its great to have policies and plans,,, but with out data, or numbers to substaniate your findings,, its just talk.. For me,,, I want to not only hear and see the data and numbers, but I also want you to convince me you are truly going to work with Congress t make it happen.. The Congress are educated critical thinkers , that are willing to approve measures,, if you provide them the data, the arguments and facts , that many Americans who have educated themselves want to hear. Its not about criticising a President.. Its called having critical thoughts and ideas.. based on several news reports from ABC NEWS,, The President doesn't followup on his ideas and policies,, and based on his ensure,, I would agree with that,, I mean,, Its sounds great the day He says it, But what happens after the speech? Is he meeting with Representatives,, is he making time to discuss how to get this done?.. Its like the Used car sales man, saying everything you hear,, But a true smart consumer,, follow ups on those assumptions or ideas the man says its true.. Its also called Buyer beware,, Its up to you to buy the car or buy a speakers ideas or thoughts.. When I listen to a speaker ,, is not so much they have to say, but what he or she is saying and what steps are they planning to use to get it done..Everyone Can say lower taxes, free education,, but how are you going to do it? And how is this going to be paid for ?, what programs do you plan to cut? Or What taxes or other taxes that will come of it.. Everyone knows, nothing is free in life, Everything has a price,, ? Its depends how important those ideas are to you..I like what the President presented,, Better VA services, lower taxes for the middle class , and free community college education.. But how do you plan to do that ? and show us numbers ,, Its just common sense and critical thinking many of you had in high school and college courses.. When a person or persons doesn't utilize these skills , your taking chances in your life.. Because I know we all think about things,, especially if it affects us..? We research the homes, the cars, the guns, the clothes, the etc.. We want the best for our money and we want to have things that help us live a better life.. If you don't ,life is miserable and running on emotions and desires,, which is not a great idea.. Lets hope the policies and plans our President has,, has the merit , the plans of attack and the data that will make it happen.. Because if not,, his legacy will be in question and the future of America will also be affected. If anything, we need cooperation , collaboration , and moderation to make things happen.. Like the beloved Ronald Reagan., he didn't always get it his way, but he knew sometimes in life, in order to keep the peace,, you need to go along to get along , in order to get other agendas passed, Its just makes great decision making.I scratch your back, I will do so some day for you,,Its just human nature,, to help those that helped you,, But if your arrogant ,smug, and just talk with no substance, than the criticisms, and the doubts about your plans, or even your legacy will always be questioned. I'm a cooperator and negotiator of ideas.. I understand that at times,, you have to compromise to make people communicate with you,, I love debates and discussions on politics, cars, sports,, and I respect all opinions,, because we all lived our lives and have experienced or not things people have engaged in.. Some have done things I have never done and vice versa,, because of situation, because of choice, because of our own way of thinking.. But if anything,, I admire people of any nation that seeks out the truth , seek out justice and seek out your own pursuit of happiness,,, For me Its God , Country and family.. and of course fast cars, fast foods and fast life.I like to have answers now ,, if anything I'm very impatient when it comes to stupidity or ignorance, but that's me.. Not knowing something or not having faith in experts , is not only foolish , but unsafe.. For example.. if your sick,, you go to certified Dr for care,, am I right? You go to a credible mechanic for your car? In life those that take shorts cuts,, may get initial success, but those that take the true long road to success ae the ones that become successes in life.. If anything, I just people to be critical thinkers that look deeper in topics in the news and don't get so emotional , until you see and hear all the facts,, A true critical thinker does that ,, the problem is not enough people challenge the system or make their voices heard,, if that's the case,, then its only you to blame when it comes to the state of affairs in your local or national governments. Like the beloved Ronald Reagan., he didn't always get it his way, but he knew sometimes in life, in order to keep the peace,, you need to go along to get along , in order to get other agendas passed, Its just makes great decision making.I scratch your back, I will do so some day for you,,Its just human nature,, to help those that helped you,, But if your arrogant ,smug, and just talk with no substance, than the criticisms, and the doubts about your plans, or even your legacy will always be questioned. I'm a cooperator and negotiator of ideas.. I understand that at times,, you have to compromise to make people communicate with you,, I love debates and discussions on politics, cars, sports,, and I respect all opinions,, because we all lived our lives and have experienced or not things people have engaged in.. Some have done things I have never done and vice versa,, because of situation, because of choice, because of our own way of thinking.. But if anything,, I admire people of any nation that seeks out the truth , seek out justice and seek out your own pursuit of happiness,,, For me Its God , Country and family.. and of course fast cars, fast foods and fast life.I like to have answers now ,, if anything I'm very impatient when it comes to stupidity or ignorance, but that's me.. Not knowing something or not having faith in experts , is not only foolish , but unsafe.. For example.. if your sick,, you go to certified Dr for care,, am I right? You go to a credible mechanic for your car? In life those that take shorts cuts,, may get initial success, but those that take the true long road to success ae the ones that become successes in life.. If anything, I just people to be critical thinkers that look deeper in topics in the news and don't get so emotional , until you see and hear all the facts,, A true critical thinker does that ,, the problem is not enough people challenge the system or make their voices heard,, if that's the case,, then its only you to blame when it comes to the state of affairs in your local or national governments. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS- SPY GATE VS DEFLATE GATE ? INSPIRED BY LATEST NFL INSIDERS..
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - SPY GATE VS DEFLATE GATE ?
Well here we go again,, ? Everyone recall the SPY GATE year ,, the Pats were caught videotaping teams.. The Patriots as you recall ,, had one of their greatest seasons ever, 18-0 , Number 1 offense , 50 passing TDS by Brady and randy dandy Moss setting records with season yardage and tds receptions.. It was their year despite the smack down.. They went into a bunker mentality and they looked like the team to beat.. But as 'karma" football Gods,. etc... They failed and I mean failed horribly in front of millions around the world.. They were beaten by the average at best team in NFL that year.. The New York Football giants,, not only beat the patriots , barring it took a miraculous pass catch by David tyree.. yeah where is he now or even who was he then? But nevertheless , they pulled off a miracle win against the Beasts from the east,,!!
Why? Perhaps the football Gods wanting to give pay back to the Raiders fans because of the Tuck rule aka the Brady rule,,, ? Maybe because they always break dreams of others , Broncos, chargers ,colts , that seem to lose in the AFC championship games against them. They are heart breaker , they are dream takers , they are bullies of the NFL.. But when it mattered the most they have lost two of their latest Superbowl appearances against the same team that , in my opinion didn't even belong in the game. But hey.. Sometimes , more often in this league , a team can get hot and play great in the playoffs , despite a average season.. That's the NEW YORK Giants.. But needless to say,, When it mattered the most Eli Manning and those defensive players helped get those Superbowl's.. Manning didn't the Patriots. It was Michael Strahan and that defensive team that held the might pats to 14 points,, If you can do that to any team.. You have a chance to win... which goes back to mhy theory,, championships not win win championship's , but they can save them when your offense is not playing well. The Patriots now.. have deflate gate? Ok. Why do that? Well based on my own football playing and coaching youth football.. I did it to have the ball easier to catch and harder to lose the ball on a fumble.. when a ball is deflated a little,, it can be better cradled in their hands.. Ask former players,, I know they did it too... Is it illegal..? Perhaps,, but so is speeding and illegal u turns or running red lights,, but many of us on occasion do these things,, its the truth,, and sometimes people cant or want to realize.. THE NFL , like life.. you do what you need to do,, Now did the deflated footballs help brady run up the score,,45-7 against the colts,, It was more that the colts didnt show up to play and the patriots were fired up.. Now what should the nfl do? Penalize the Patriots , taking away a draft pick , monetary compensation,, like they did to Mike Tomlin.s shenanigans on the sideline,, not that was dirty and underhanded,, if I was running with the ball and I saw a coach in my way, I'm going to knock you on your ass,,, especially I have a chance to take the brain trust way from the team.. and they would of awarding me the touchdown,, and I would be applauded by my team mates and everyone around the league,, Payback is a bitch.. but that's what I do.. In life. you have to take and do what you need to do.. If you think law enforcement or the laws are going to be there all the time, you are greatly naive. Anyone who has played football. know that, their are fouls on every play,, players get kicked , stepped on, late hits ,low hits,,, you have players wearing illegal equipment , vaseliine on jerseys to make it slippery or body so they can slip away.. Some players don't shower for days to make them stinky or unpleasant to tackle, You have eye gouging , throat punching,, and I'm talking youth football, so you can imagine what the pros do..
Now back to deflate gate,, ok,, fine them, take a away a apick, but guess what ? They stil won the game , if you want enforcement , then do it at the game,, not after.. But thats the NFL. and thats why is really hard to take this league seriously,, I mean you allow a wfe beater back in the league and still have issues with child abuser? Or allowing qbs so much protecton while others are fedning for their lives.. The needless and excessive fines on aggressive play is truly disturbing, and the flags on every play is just nauseating... to be honest football is not what it used to be , and its a shame. Now deflate gate..
My final take.. The patriots,, have always bee a team that will challenge the rule book, or ush the lne.. like the Oakland raiders back in the day,, They used to do excessive hits and commit the most personal fouls of any team. They the raiders have always bee the revels.. when teams have stripes or what on their uniforms the raiders would have no stripes.. on their uniforms violations of the rules, but thats the raiders,, But because of their dominance and their rule breaking,, they became hated,, aka , Now the raiders of today, The Patriots, they are the bullies. the cheaters, the innovators of the game.. They came up with trick plays, announcing or declaring an offensive player as ineligible.. Man that's genius.. is it against the rules.. not now, But maybe in the future,, But that goes down to coaching or creating thinking.. The Patriots are great a psyching you out,, even though you may be a better team.. and now its happening again,, THE NFL- NO FIGURE LEAGUE , NO FAIR LEAGUE,, NOT FOR LONG , NOTHING FOR LOSERS.. are on the brink on winning their 4th superbowl.. Not because they have films of teams, not because of delflated footballs , or trick plays,, they are winning because they imposed their will on other teams, they have bullied, outplayed , out smarted and now out psyching the NFL and their opponents,,, Will it work? Well based on history,, it didn't work that magical year 0f 18-0 . it didn't work the previous Superbowl against the giants.. so end the end.. The FOOTBALL GODS, the karma,, seem to even things up..
In the end.. the reason the Patriots or any other team loses in the big game is protection , protect the gun slinger and he can make enough plays.. that's the team that will win.. Remember tendencies and true talent comes out when the big game comes out,, Throw out last weeks game. teams can game plan ,, per game,, Now .. ore than ever. Everything gets magnified on the BIG GAME..
THE patriots make shift offensive line vs one the of the best defenses in years,. The Beast mode of Lynch.. against that undersized unit of the Patriots.. The Mental bullies of the Patriots vs the physical and trash talking bullies of the seahawks.. Yes.. we have a game of the two most hated teams.. Most times you have a good guy vs a bad.. but in this game we have the hated teams , with tremendous talents and not afraid to say so... I know most fans would love a tie,,,,,haha,, But that's not going to happen.. But one thing is for sure,, The Patriots or seahawks could care less what the media , or fans think. They both do whatever , whenever , and impose their wills on teams. That's why they are playing for the big game,. Not because of deflated footballs, or trick plays or stretching the rules or bending the rules,,, The two best teams are in the big game NUMBER 1 seeds on both conferences, Number One defense and rushing team against one of the best offenses in late in the season.. In the end.. Its going to be who provides the best protection and who plays the best that day.. But THE NFL loves drama to sell their brand,, so go ahead and spread the deflate gate.. buts its such a non issue!!

You learn to protect yourself, understand your rights and be aware of your surroundings,, if the deflate deal was such a big deal,, why wait until after the game. it should of been addressed at the game,,anything afterwards is useless especially when the outcome was decided after the first few series.. But the Patriots are hated because they win, because they have a star qb who has everything.. SUPERBOWL RINGS, MVPS AWARDS, looks, money , cars, homes, gorgeous wife.. For alot of us that's too much for any one person,, But I know the Patriots fans can care less and why not? When you have a chance to be a part of history and enjoy the success they have been doing is truly incredbile,, I know since spy gate they have never won a SUPERBOWL.. but that may change this year , to the dismay of many fans,, but the NFL , is not a story book,or movie.. The idea of fair play and sportmanship.. in pro sports,,, Good luck on that one,, if oy cant get that in real life.. how can you expect big corporations with so much money involved to play fairly,. People still think and believe you have to win the big game,, Guys Like Montana, Bradshaw, Aikman, Big Ben , and even Eli , will get talk about being one of best in the game,, Because , people will ask how many SUPER BOWLS did your best qb win?? NFL CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY .. JAN 18,2015.. WHO CHARGER FANS ARE ROOTING FOR?
NFL CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY JAN 18,2015. WHO THE CHARGER FANS ARE ROOTING FOR?
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME;
COLTS VS PATRIOTS- Well if your charger fan since 2006 , then you all know the pain and misery about the Patriots,, that was the Year 14-2 , home field advantage,, LT's magical record breaking year.. It was all set , in fact the Mayor of San Diego already made plans for a SUPERBOWL PARADE, and the Patriots got wind of it and used it as motivation.. Its not so bad the chargers lost or beaten , it was the mere fact they mocked and dance all over the charger helmet. Lights out dance was so appropriate.. watching LT get upset and try to defend his turf was admirable.. its too bad not enough fans or players had the same spirit.. It was a heart breaking loss,, and the aftermath was unforgivable,,,, Get rid of Marty .. ? because of ego's personality clashes.. Purely idiotic and perhaps the football gods were unforgiving to the Bolts, Because the following year in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THE CHARGERS WOULD LOSE AGAIN TO THE PATRIOTS , this time in cold , blistery New England..and THE infamous,LT pout on the sideline.. I know he wasn't pouting , he was hurt,,physically , mentally emotionally ,, and it forever changed his image in the eyes of the chargers and its fans.. So No way a true charger fan is rooting for the Patriots..
The Colts.. well back in the day with the manning era,, the chargers hated that team.. not so much now,, Andrew luck is a likable kid and has a pretty good team..The head coach is brothers with the chargers defensive coach.. so if there was a team charger fans may be rooting for ,, I see the connection there.. !!!
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
PACKERS VS SEAHAWKS.. - ok this game is interesting because we have the leagues best defense against the leagues best offense.. Something has to give.. As for charger fans.. Once upon a time for us older folks.. The hawks were in the AFC west and had many wars with that team.. Since leaving this team has been in 2 SUPER BOWLS and a game away from reaching their third.. The hawks a re a expansion team,,, meaning they have been in existence less than the San Diego chargers , like the ravens, like buccaneers ,, like the saints, who have Superbowl wins.. The fact the hawks have won a Superbowl before the chargers really puts a sting in charger fans and I'm sure another trip and win , will really not bode well for the fans.. Because the charger fans are so frustrated in winning the big game.. a win by the seahawks ,, could just stick it to the bolts even more,, Forget about the USC connection. with Coach Carrol,,, the chargers fans are loyal to San Diego,, and a sea hawk win only rubs it in, that another expansion team has won the big game..
The Packers are a likable group,, I mean ,, the SUPER BOWL TROPHY is named after ther greatest coach ever,, Vince Lombardi.. plus Aaron Rodger's and his funny commercial,, with discount double check and hand and franz,.. juts make this team like able,, Charger fans probably are more willing to root for this team than the Patriots , Seahawks and colts put together..
My take.. The charger fans are upset they missed out on the party and the fact the SUPER BOWL WINNER -- MY EARLY PICK SEAHAWKS . is a team the chargers dominated,, will only hurt more, because of the missed opportunities ,, the chargers let go away.. But like I said , the true charger fans are not rooting for the patriots ,, or the seahawks,, and could care less about the Packers ,, or Colts.. but since the fans have a certain bond with the pagano brothers.. I would say the Chargers would love for the colts to beat down the patriots at their home and go on to beat the seahwaks,,, in the big game, that would bring joy to the fans,.. Since the Chargers didn't play them. tey could take them as winners... But like the 54 years or so counting.. The chargers are left to think about what if ? and what about next year? This year was disappointing,,, back to back 9-7 records is not progress , in fact I say they took a step back.. But I'm looking forward to next years draft and free agent signings.. to see if the o line is built up... if not,, expect another inconsistent year for the chargers,, and if they are not too careful.. the chargers could be cellar dwellars next year,, because the Chiefs and raiders are looking to bounce back ..and the Broncos are looking to regroup .. The Chargers if they are looking for a Chance to win the division while some of the teams are in transition,, Then next year is it..Time is running on the Rivers era.. But for now... I say the Charger fans are rooting for a Colt win and a Colt Superbowl win to top it off.. A patriot or seahawk win would not make charger fans happy for many reasons!! but that's my take... For me..I lived in Seattle early in my Navy career and had great times.... So I'm rooting for Coach Carrol,,I'm a Big USC FAN TOO.. Lets face it.. its hard to root for losers.. The NFL probably wants a Rodgers vs Brady matchup,,, but I'm thinking its going to be a Patriots vs Seahawks,, and if my theory works out... The better defense , with the better all around team will win, and that is the Seattle Seahawks,, back to back,, which will be the first time since the patriots did it back in the day!!! Well thats my take what do you think ???

The Colts.. well back in the day with the manning era,, the chargers hated that team.. not so much now,, Andrew luck is a likable kid and has a pretty good team..The head coach is brothers with the chargers defensive coach.. so if there was a team charger fans may be rooting for ,, I see the connection there.. !!!
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
PACKERS VS SEAHAWKS.. - ok this game is interesting because we have the leagues best defense against the leagues best offense.. Something has to give.. As for charger fans.. Once upon a time for us older folks.. The hawks were in the AFC west and had many wars with that team.. Since leaving this team has been in 2 SUPER BOWLS and a game away from reaching their third.. The hawks a re a expansion team,,, meaning they have been in existence less than the San Diego chargers , like the ravens, like buccaneers ,, like the saints, who have Superbowl wins.. The fact the hawks have won a Superbowl before the chargers really puts a sting in charger fans and I'm sure another trip and win , will really not bode well for the fans.. Because the charger fans are so frustrated in winning the big game.. a win by the seahawks ,, could just stick it to the bolts even more,, Forget about the USC connection. with Coach Carrol,,, the chargers fans are loyal to San Diego,, and a sea hawk win only rubs it in, that another expansion team has won the big game..
The Packers are a likable group,, I mean ,, the SUPER BOWL TROPHY is named after ther greatest coach ever,, Vince Lombardi.. plus Aaron Rodger's and his funny commercial,, with discount double check and hand and franz,.. juts make this team like able,, Charger fans probably are more willing to root for this team than the Patriots , Seahawks and colts put together..
My take.. The charger fans are upset they missed out on the party and the fact the SUPER BOWL WINNER -- MY EARLY PICK SEAHAWKS . is a team the chargers dominated,, will only hurt more, because of the missed opportunities ,, the chargers let go away.. But like I said , the true charger fans are not rooting for the patriots ,, or the seahawks,, and could care less about the Packers ,, or Colts.. but since the fans have a certain bond with the pagano brothers.. I would say the Chargers would love for the colts to beat down the patriots at their home and go on to beat the seahwaks,,, in the big game, that would bring joy to the fans,.. Since the Chargers didn't play them. tey could take them as winners... But like the 54 years or so counting.. The chargers are left to think about what if ? and what about next year? This year was disappointing,,, back to back 9-7 records is not progress , in fact I say they took a step back.. But I'm looking forward to next years draft and free agent signings.. to see if the o line is built up... if not,, expect another inconsistent year for the chargers,, and if they are not too careful.. the chargers could be cellar dwellars next year,, because the Chiefs and raiders are looking to bounce back ..and the Broncos are looking to regroup .. The Chargers if they are looking for a Chance to win the division while some of the teams are in transition,, Then next year is it..Time is running on the Rivers era.. But for now... I say the Charger fans are rooting for a Colt win and a Colt Superbowl win to top it off.. A patriot or seahawk win would not make charger fans happy for many reasons!! but that's my take... For me..I lived in Seattle early in my Navy career and had great times.... So I'm rooting for Coach Carrol,,I'm a Big USC FAN TOO.. Lets face it.. its hard to root for losers.. The NFL probably wants a Rodgers vs Brady matchup,,, but I'm thinking its going to be a Patriots vs Seahawks,, and if my theory works out... The better defense , with the better all around team will win, and that is the Seattle Seahawks,, back to back,, which will be the first time since the patriots did it back in the day!!! Well thats my take what do you think ???

BLACK BEAUTY - attracts fools.. based on life experiences. Jan 2015..
Well its a new year , and I haven't shared many stories on my Muscle car .. I named " Black Beauty!" , Maybe because its too much to report on every day or week or what? But One thing is certain , My muscle car attracts alot of attention. Maybe its the shiny Black car with red stripes and the tinted windows ,, and maybe its the glowing radar detector and police scanner I have on my dash board , or maybe ts just the awesome muscle car retro look of the seventies , that the Dodge Company did so well in making.. No knocks on the Iconic Mustang or the camaro.. But in my humble opinion , they Dodge , did the best representation in making the car look like it did back in the seventies.. It has the simple lines and curves that give it that muscle car look..
Now to the fools.. it seems wherever or whenever I drive this beast.. I get at least one fool that wants to tail gate me or run up on me on the free way or the streets.. Why? especially if you own a beat up rice burner car or a beat up American truck.. I cant tell you how many times , I have raced past them , with no competition .. but like my other muscle car Owners,, they do that , so they can see black beauty in action.. At times I agree, but other times, they are just fools,,, I'm not advocating speeding. because it can get expensive.. and it can scare other people on the road.. But I speed when it safe if that can be the case.. Living in the Inland Empire so to speak.. We have many more open roads where I can open it up and speed,, But when I drive in the LA or San Diego areas,, it gets frustrating,, because of the traffic, the smaller roads and the lack of space.. to really let it rip..But there are places in San Diego,,, namely Otay lakes rd.. but also remember,,, if your caught speeding,,it can cost you alot..so I advise not to,, Unless you have a radar detector or fuzz buster as we muscle car folks cal them.. and listening to police scanners lets me know where they are? Sounds like fast and furious stuff huh? But on a serious note,, I like to help people on the road when i have a chance.. Because I carry a jump starter and tools.. I have helped people in Chula Vista and south San Diego.. jump starting their cars, in fact people offer me money for helping them.. I never accepted , but my son would,, haha,, I Wonder where he learned that from.. But anyways,, helping people , or teaching people things is what I like to do,, Because the smiles and gratitude are truly joyful.. Its a lost art,, but also be wary who you help,, I mean,, I usually scope the people out, if its a family , I'm more eager to help,,and if your a young and good looking girl,,.. chances are your going to get help.. So yes,, looks and perception matter,, I would be a liar if I said otherwise..
Before I go, I just want to say,, people chill out when you see a muscle car,, don't race it or tail gate or try to prove you a better or faster driver than the other person.. For me , it just shows you how insecure or idiotic you are.. What are you gaining, trying to make your beat up honda or ford,, truck or what ,, Muscle cars are built to go fast , and for a long time,, A beat up 4 cylinder is built to get you to point a to point b.. but see it almost daily,, and lot of them are women.. ,,just saying.. they really get insulted after I blow by them.. well a high powered car with alot of horse power and built for speed is why my car or other muscle cars beat out normal passenger cars.. whats funny is when the women or men , get so upset when I pass them by,, The looks on their faces is priceless,, But its ok.. as long as I'm able and Black beauty stays up to snuff in performance abilities,, I will continue to embarrass and show her skills.. Its so much fun to drive my car , but I also realize,, they are idiots out there that think they are race car drivers.. People,. get with it.. ! But I know it wont change. its just the image of a muscle car.. always looking to race, looking to bully other drivers.. Its the alpha male ego persona that muscle cars evokes.. That's why many people don't want a muscle car,, it draws too much attention,, and its too tempting to drive fast when you drive this car.. I have owned it for almost 3 years and the need for speed never leaves,, Its an addictive thing when you drive a fast car.. Because it drives so fast , and so effortlessly,, its too tempting to speed.. But I do it with responsible radar detection and police scanners. plus,,lane changing will get you a ticket,,, I know .. but if you speed with responsibility , so to speak,, you wont get a ticket,, or at least based on my life experiences,, I haven't received one.. If anything , I want everyone to drive safe and be alert when your on the road.. I like being safe , and getting home alive. I don't need idiots that tail gate me or try to race me during rush hour.. If anything ,, it just proves how immature and child like you are.. Not saying I'm not, But you have to know ones limitation's in driving skill and car.. Blowing out an engine is nit fun,, did that many years ago, it can be costly and foolish,, But that's life you live and learn,
My lesson.. for today is simple.. Know your limitation's,, and don't challenge muscle cars on the road,, its not smart or safe.. Just admire to cool looks and power as they drive by.. Because getting a ticket , causing a accident is something we all want to avoid.. We live in a great world ,where we can do and say what we want and enjoy life.. So just do it!!! Ans if you see black beauty in the SO CAL area,, give me a wave or thumbs up.. I will wave back or high beam you..to acknowledge you.. Have a great day and enjoy a safe driving day , week and year!!!

CAMPUS SAFETY - Inspired by News Events..
Well its the New Year , and New Cheer for many parents , students etc. We all want to have another safe year, but you also need to be aware of dangers in life..
What I advise my family and friends is always be on alert ,, even on campus, because not being aware whats going on could cost you more than material things but your life itself. On campus, grade school , high school or college, they may be people looking for victims?
Remember these when attacked or accidents happen!!
Who? Height , weight , Skin and eye color, hair color, clothes descriptions, voice accents,
What Happened?
Where it Happened? Street names , building numbers etc
Why? Enemy, Ex boyfriend, girlfriend..
Who are the victims?
1) Loners - Your vulnerable because you alone, especially in dark secluded place on campus.. I know I attend college , and even though I'm a man , I still wonder whose lurking around the parking lots.. Yes we have security , but they are they to observe and report.
2) People pre occupied with their cell phones.. when your looking down at your phone, you not aware of people that might be stalking you to steal your phone or back back or lap top or such.. Your a easy prey and don't expect campus security or your fellow students to help , because they may be too far away or pre occupied themselves..
3) stranger Danger!! - This goes out to people that attend frat parties or school parties on campus.. yeah its cool to think your safe, but this is a very different age and time,, they are fakers and molesters that attend these events to take advantage of young people.. Its sad to think that , but its true! I don't want you to have their fear of life, just awareness.. Don't be so trusting of people you meet at parties..
4) walk with friends and people , and avoid walking alone dark secluded places on campus.. because opportunity is what evil bad people are looking for. If you can walk with friends or request campus security to walk or escort you, it may waste time ,,so to speak, but better safe than sorry and always report suspicious activity or persons.. it may be nothing , but security can't help people if people are not reported.
What I carry with me,. I carry a small knife and pepper spray on my key ring.. Even though I'm trained in Martial Arts and weaponry ,, I still want something extra!Because the person that might attack you may have those same things I have..And Maybe drugged up or drunk .. In a fight for your life,, anything goes.. I'm going out fighting than let someone hurt or harm me. I rather fight there in parking lot,, then be driven to some lonely field to be raped and molested,and killed !, yes,you may live a few hours more, but to put yourself through that is torture,and not the way I would want to go,, So ,, I'm saying fight!!!
I also advise my female or male friends to carry a whistle in your purse or pocket,, by blowing it,, it might cause enough attention , the attacker may or should run away.. drawing attention will alert or at least make people aware and someone may help or call for help.. Its something to think about.. Life is so fast and fleeting,, and at times, we have bad and evil people that want to do harm..
My take is this.. Don't be a soft target ! Also be aware and alert at all times!! And protect yourself with small knives, or pepper spray and learning basic self defense techniques.. My simple attacks are eyes, throat , solar plexus or groin areas, and strike fast and hard.. !! It sounds barbaric but when your life is in danger,, My theory is do whatever it takes,, if it means blinding someone or cutting their throat or stabbing their hearts or private areas,,then so be it.. Its a crazy world at times and we need to protect oneself, and teach your loved ones to do the same.. Make this a year to prosper and be safe and learn all you can about security for your home, and persons,, Learn about gun safety , and teach them to family and friends. One of the biggest thrills I get it is when I teach people how to defend themselves.. If anything I want my legacy in life as someone who taught and preached safety , awareness and protection for oneself and your family. The bad folks are always looking for victims or soft targets , learn to be a hard target and learn how to defend yourself and family. Because family is what we treasure the most,,, and wouldn't you want to protect them from harm.. I know I will and I advise all of you to do the same.. Always learn about anything that can help you in life.. Life is learning and adjusting each day.. Don't just go through the motions!! Be active! Be aware ! Be safe!!
I hope this is a wake up call and you all make the moves to protect your home, your car , yourself and your family and home. We all work hard to buy our treasures in life. Learn to protect them through knowledge , awareness and being proactive!! Have a great day and Life!!

THE SOURCES CAR TIPS , WHAT I CARRY IN MY VEHICLE..
THE SOURCE CAR TIPS WHAT I CARRY IN MY CAR....
First of all , safety and protection should always be your concern regarding anything.and after serving 20 years plus in the Armed services , I learned to be ready and prepared , because , life has taught me you never know.. ??
WHAT I CARRY AND WHY?
1) BATTERY CHARGER AIR/ COMPRESSOR.. why? Because if and when a car battery goes out , I want to rely on myself to charger up my battery ,then relying on a tow truck operator or heaven for bid a stranger with not so safe booster cables.. especially in cold areas,, waiting around might not be a great option..
2) A knife / scissors . or a knife, glass breaker tool - You can buy these at military exchanges or walmart or sporting goods.. stores. Why? because in case your in accident ad your stuck ,, you can cut the seat belts and break the car windows to escape.. like i said,, waiting around for someone to help you , might not be an option, and burning to death , or drowning doesn't sound like something I want to do , so anything that can help you escape is a good thing.. Just something to think about..
3) First Aid kit.. why? Once again, you never know , when you might need a band aid or what ,, they sell first aid kits at walmart or better yet a emergency kit that have items like flares, markers etc in case your car is disabled.. Just something to have.. in case of.. I know it seems like a lot to keep in aCar, but don't most of us spend alot of our times in a car, driving to and from work, sitting , sleeping in our cars before or after work.. In other words , why don't you have all these items in your car ,, I like to be prepared .. Just me.. and I'm hoping you all do the same.. You don't have to but everything at once.. I did it one pay day at a time.. and before you know it.. You have your stuff in your car.. As for me,, I had to do it for three cars,,so do the math or the time.. I want my family to ready for anything and everything should it happen.
4) I also carry a backpack full of crackers , biscuits like Velveeta, and spare water.. Why? I always get hungry or thirsty when i go on a drive,, and having those items can save you from hunger or thirst pains,,, Even though I have a beautiful car with leather seats,,I allow anyone and everyone a chance to eat in my car.. and anyone that doesn't allow that. I wont ride with you.. Just saying..
Oh I also carry flashlights , and spare sweater or hoodie , in case it gets cold.. I live in SOCAL ,, but the weather can change .. and I want to be prepared.. I know it seems like over kill having all these items.. in your car /trunk.. but its the way I roll.. Because I like to depend on someone I can trust ,, Myself.. is the best answer especially if your on a lonely road ,or highway.. I rather try to help myself than others..
5) I thinking about keeping a toolbag with screwdrivers and wrenches ,, just in case ,, you need to make repairs or what on the road.. its a thought. I havent doen it yet.. but Like said... Its great to be prepared,,
6) lastly always carry hour car registration and insurance cards, with contact info.. Its required in CA , if a law man pulls you over,, keep them updated and in your glove compartment for easy access.I keep mine in a registration holder , or a envelope will do too.. Oh I also keep spare health bars in there or batteries for my flash lights..
I hope this is helpful,, and if anything I made you aware of things that can or will happen on the road.. oh by the way. Its better to be safe than sorry.. and above all be safe , and drive safe,, Drive defensively and be alert ,, I hate people that are texting or talking on the phone,, and cant decide to turn or make a turn.. But that's me.. I like to drive fast and I 'm always alert when driving. texting and talking is something I don't like to do especially in the city,, too many things to look out for..red light drivers , lane changers or emergency vehicles.. Have a great year and create your own safe haven in your car.. and develop what you need in your car? For me.. I'm a Independent ,self - reliant person that likes to help myself,, first,, before turning to help..

Why? because in case your in accident ad your stuck ,, you can cut the seat belts and break the car windows to escape.. like i said,, waiting around for someone to help you , might not be an option, and burning to death , or drowning doesn't sound like something I want to do , so anything that can help you escape is a good thing.. Just something to think about..
3) First Aid kit.. why? Once again, you never know , when you might need a band aid or what ,, they sell first aid kits at walmart or better yet a emergency kit that have items like flares, markers etc in case your car is disabled.. Just something to have.. in case of.. I know it seems like a lot to keep in aCar, but don't most of us spend alot of our times in a car, driving to and from work, sitting , sleeping in our cars before or after work.. In other words , why don't you have all these items in your car ,, I like to be prepared .. Just me.. and I'm hoping you all do the same.. You don't have to but everything at once.. I did it one pay day at a time.. and before you know it.. You have your stuff in your car.. As for me,, I had to do it for three cars,,so do the math or the time.. I want my family to ready for anything and everything should it happen.
4) I also carry a backpack full of crackers , biscuits like Velveeta, and spare water.. Why? I always get hungry or thirsty when i go on a drive,, and having those items can save you from hunger or thirst pains,,, Even though I have a beautiful car with leather seats,,I allow anyone and everyone a chance to eat in my car.. and anyone that doesn't allow that. I wont ride with you.. Just saying..
Oh I also carry flashlights , and spare sweater or hoodie , in case it gets cold.. I live in SOCAL ,, but the weather can change .. and I want to be prepared.. I know it seems like over kill having all these items.. in your car /trunk.. but its the way I roll.. Because I like to depend on someone I can trust ,, Myself.. is the best answer especially if your on a lonely road ,or highway.. I rather try to help myself than others..
5) I thinking about keeping a toolbag with screwdrivers and wrenches ,, just in case ,, you need to make repairs or what on the road.. its a thought. I havent doen it yet.. but Like said... Its great to be prepared,,
6) lastly always carry hour car registration and insurance cards, with contact info.. Its required in CA , if a law man pulls you over,, keep them updated and in your glove compartment for easy access.I keep mine in a registration holder , or a envelope will do too.. Oh I also keep spare health bars in there or batteries for my flash lights..
I hope this is helpful,, and if anything I made you aware of things that can or will happen on the road.. oh by the way. Its better to be safe than sorry.. and above all be safe , and drive safe,, Drive defensively and be alert ,, I hate people that are texting or talking on the phone,, and cant decide to turn or make a turn.. But that's me.. I like to drive fast and I 'm always alert when driving. texting and talking is something I don't like to do especially in the city,, too many things to look out for..red light drivers , lane changers or emergency vehicles.. PACKERS AT SEAHAWKS - Last week , The Packers escaped with a win over the over achieving cowboys. " The catch " was controversial and it was disturbing also. But that's when my theory about winning championships. You play all three phases very well and You keep scoring , even if it means running up the score,,That way,, you don't have to worry about ref calls or turnovers that can change the momentum of the game.. The Packers played well but we do enough saw a injured and hampered Rodgers to do enough to beat a average defense in the cowboys.. Against the best defense in years,, I see a differing ending,, The hawks will batter and bruise their way to a another championship and a trip to the big game.. The Seahawks are nearly unbeatable at home , and when you limit teams to under 20 poimts or less for the past month.. Its no secret why they are winning decisively and solid.. I expect another hard hitting and solid win at home as they prepare to be the first team since the patriots to go back to back.. Offense sells tickets and the defense wins championships.. and that what I see this Sunday in Seattle!!

The Ravens had a make shift defense , but still had the game under control , until belicheck came up with some trick plays. expect the Patriot's to try again as this time,, They battle another offensive machine in the Colts Luck has not beaten Brady in any playoff scenarios,, and that could change this Sunday.. He is playing better and the defense is finally coming around.. But Brady is so clutch and so great at home, barring a patriots meltdown.. I cant imagine Luck and Co having the horses or the experience to beat one the the leagues most consistent team. Both teams don't run much , and they don't have the best defenses, but they can score when asked too. I can see this game going in alot of different ways,, But based on how they have been playing.. I can see a shoot out with Brady making one big play to return to the big game. This could be a classic in the making, but based on how this season has gone and how things have changed week to week. The Colts were dominating against a aging manning,, but this week , he faces a primed and ready patriots and I like Brady and company.. to win and get back to the big game and try to get their 4th ring.. Look for Brady to get his team ready to play well , but also expect luck to make this a exciting game.. But Luck's gun slinger mentality will do him in and one his turnover's will be the difference in a closely contested game..

NO# 6 RAVENS AT NO# 1 PATRIOTS - Joe Flacco knows how to beat the Patriots he;s not a Tom Brady , but he has won 2 Superbowl's and has team that can play well.. But to expect them to go into the cold , crowded arena they call Brady's place.. will be a tough deal.. expect the patriots to throw to build a lead and use blount to protect the lead.. The Ravens will be hard pressed to beat a hungry and angry Brady who wants that Superbowl win he sorely misses. The ravens are a tried and tested team that know hows to win on the road and play well in the playoffs.. The Harbaughs , will have something special for the Patriots and this is my upset special of the playoffs,, The Ravens will take away Gronk,, and thus forcing Brady to throw to less then talented wide outs.. and use blount to sow down the pass rush.. ravens will pull out upset with great defense and timely passing plays..

Andrew Luck is the newest star qb and has a rocket arm and a fearless attitude,, perhaps the younger version of manning. Manning of late looked tired and old ,but the couple of weeks rest should revitalize his aging arm and legs. This is the best chance for manning to win it all,, He has the defense, he has the wide outs if healthy and the young and surprising runner in Anderson. I expect manning to be ready and willing to show the world he's ready for that Superbowl run ,,and he wont disappoint.. I expect the aerial passing attack to build a lead and then use the running game to protect the lead..

But I see the hawks ebing too physical and too good on all phases of the ball as they will run , pass and defned their way to a solid win at home.. Look for Wilson , Lynch and the wide outs havig big days and that defense will confuse the talented cam Newton.. Its going to loud and crazy in seattle and expect a battle in seattle , but in the end, the physical play and more talented players will pa itself out.. The hawks are playing nearly the same kind of defense as last year and that will be enough for them to return to THE SUPERBOWL..

NO# 3 COWBOYS AT NO# 2 PACKERS - This is truly a toss up game , very similar team.. great wide outs, great running back and quality qbs.. the issue is Rodger's calf.. The Cowboys will test him early and often, and if he's not truly ready,, this game could get out of control early. Both teams are undefeated so to speak.. The Boys are the road warriors of the NFL and the Packers are the best home team.. Something has to give? I believe the Packers are more healthy and have a beast in Lacy and Jordy Nelson is amazing.. The boys counter with dez bryant and murray, but Romo is a question mark? I know he's learned from his boo boo's. but I'm not taking until he proves it this sunday against a Superbowl contending team. if Murray and Romo have big days,, it could be a cowboy day. But I see the Packers having too much to defend against and have a better defense than boys. Its gonna be a cold and blistery day for the boys and a very physical game... I just think Rodger's is the best qb in the league and he will pick apart that suspect cowboy defense.. It will be a fun game to watch , but I see the Packers having just enough to win this game.. Turnover's and mistake's will decide this game and I see the boys making mental mistakes and losing in the final quarter. The Packers are destined to meet the Seahawks for a heck of shown in Seattle .. and a true Battle in Seattle is coming..

HAPPY NEW YEAR TIPS .2015..
1) Stay busy , what do I mean? Make out a plan of the day or daily takings, you cant always finish everything that day , its ok, add it to the net day,, prioritize your activities.. It also makes the accomplishing more things by having plans..
2) For homeowners, change out your batteries om your smoke detectors,, I do this every year. For safety and peace of mind.
3) Have fire extinguisher's handy in the kitchen or garage or where ever you may be having fire break out. I keep one in the kitchen, garage and back yard when I barbecuing.. and Please read how to operate ,, It would be horrible , when something goes down,, and you don't know how to operate.
4) Always store your gases, and oils in the garage in good sturdy containers and in safe cabinets and drawers.. and if possible don't use other containers for gas or oils,, we tend to forget whats inside or fail to label them.. Its better to use proper containers for whatever product you are using.
5) Have flashlights in work areas and cars.. I'm a big flashlight guy, because you never know when you need it and it can be used as a weapon if attacked.. I have the long 4 cell police style mag lite .. that I keep in my cars and near my bedroom dresser for quick retrieval..
6) Have local police numbers handy and keep a log book near your home office , to take down notes on suspicious cars or person and take notes.. I always jot down license plate numbers that park near my house , just in case, you never know if that car is a criminal , spy or what.. Always be alert !!
7) teach your kids the evacuation plans in case of fire or danger. If fire breaks out I teach them to look for one another and if possible wet a towel and place over head , in case fire is already happening and get out of the house immediately.. For me... Cell phone , Wallet ,keys, flashlight are always kept near my bedroom dresser for quick retrieval. Just something to think about.
8) teach or have someone teach your kids self defense techniques, whether its karate, judo , boxing , etc.. Its always good to be trained and prepared for attacks.
9) Always secure your house before leaving home..Never assume I will be back in 10 minutes,, I can leave a window open.. Don't let the crook have a easy route.. Make it difficult. than be a easy target.. No one place is truly burglar proof , but you can make it tough , but locking up valuables, and protecting your home.. We all work hard, we all should make the effort to protect the things we have worked so hard to buy and enjoy!
10) Lastly, Invest in protection.. HOME SECURITY ALARMS, CAMERA'S MONITORS, I know many of you are scared of weapons, but in today's day and age, not having weapons systems in the house could be a bad choice.. There is many courses on line and local cities that offer gun safety and shooting classes. Myself, I help train my kids to be familiar with weapons and teach them safety. because I say the life you save may be your own and mine.. I know if my kids saved my life ,, that would be the greatest feeling , and vice versa.. But if you don't feel comfortable with that.. Local Sporting goods sell , machete's, and shooting nail guns, that can be used, but be prepared for possible law suits or civil actions if you use them. but if it saves your life,, then why not? For me.. When it comes to family safety,,, I would do anything possible to do that and deal with the law consequences at a later time..

Attention California Veterans, especially my fellow retirees of the US NAVY, US MARINE CORPS , UNITED STATES ARMY AND AIR FORCES.
Because we served and sacrificed a major part of pr lives to protect and serve the United States, we were honored and given many rights and benefits that others are not open or eligible for. But based on my own experience I see and hear many of my fellow veterans are not aware or know how to apply and receive this great benefit. I just recently applied and was eligible to receive the CAL VET WAIVER FEES.. In other words , the state of California will pay for college fees , tuition's , for dependents of retired veterans who are requesting assistance for college education.
Basically this is how it works;
1) Have your son or daughter speak with the veterans / financial aid office at the campus, They can give you the latest info on this matter. If not possible , go to www.cacvso.org or www.cdva.ca.govfor the application , needs t be done or renewed every year.
2) Complete application and make a copy for future reference.
Before you can apply you need to go to the Franchise Tax Board office in San Diego,CA 92108

I would like to welcome everyone to a New year 2015.. and I want to thank the many fans of the world renown " THE SOURCE" ! It started out a joker's blogs about my early days in life and Navy life adventures, to a Sports commentary to a advice column, to a drama filled stories about my sons football games to my on going adventures about " Black Beauty" my awesome late model Dodge Challenger Muscle car.. If anything, I learned that life is really unpredictable and unreal, as well as relationships.. We all are human and we all need family , friends and God in our lives. Lets face it, their are going to be times we are perfect in our choices and decision making and many times we are filled with greed, jealousy, anger . emotions that we feel whether we admit to it or not.
My advice this year , Just be happy and don't sweat the little things But to keep in mind the future.. I know nothing stays the same... but we must go on.. I know when My mama passed way many years ago.. It was hard to let her go.. and to this day . I still get tears if i hear a old song or see a familiar movie or place around San Diego that reminds me of her.. If anything it taught me to never take things for granted, But easier said than done.. because we are caught up with our selfish needs and desires.. But we must take time to share good times with those you love..But we must survive,, We must fight every day , every week , every year .. Its the code of life.. We will survive , and must fight on no matter what !!
Bottom line..
I want to thank the many people that respond to my face book postings and blogs.. The Class of 82 Montgomery Aztecs for class. and those Mayans of the Jr high class. I also want to thank my many shipmates from THE USS CAMDEN , THE USS PRINCETON , USS PELELIU AND THE COMMANDS FROM JAPAN TO CORONADO TO SAN DIEGO CA NAVY BASES,,,.. I really miss those days of laughing and sharing great times and of course my family and friends that continue to encourage to do well in life,, Nothing worth having comes easy. So take care of things that mean alot is what I have to say.. Like i said easier said than done, but at least you are aware.. That's all we can do is just be aware of whats out there and whats in store for the future.. We will continue to have fun, have sadness and see horrible and experience painful things this year, and we all must Learn to let go and move on,. If anything , we are just human and we will continue to upset , or disappoint one another time to time, but that's life,,no one is perfect and no one is immune to sadness or shame or pain.. In life we all will deal with all these issues at one time or another and we all have to rise up and move on.. No one ever said life was going to be easy and so it is..We can only live each day as it is and hope and pray for the best and help each other.
Lets preach peace over war , love over hate.. respect over disrespect. Its the only way we can live in harmony, all this talk about racism, separation doesn't help anyone .. We all must look ahead and be ready whatever the case.. Like I said easier said than done. but atleast we are trying to good.. and To be honest that's all we can expect from one another.. Go out and have a great day , week and Happy New year.. and Lets learn from one another.. and lets pray for peace for the upcoming year.. Take care always,

I would like to welcome everyone to a New year 2015.. and I want to thank the many fans of the world renown " THE SOURCE" ! It started out a joker's blogs about my early days in life and Navy life adventures, to a Sports commentary to a advice column, to a drama filled stories about my sons football games to my on going adventures about " Black Beauty" my awesome late model Dodge Challenger Muscle car.. If anything, I learned that life is really unpredictable and unreal, as well as relationships.. We all are human and we all need family , friends and God in our lives. Lets face it, their are going to be times we are perfect in our choices and decision making and many times we are filled with greed, jealousy, anger . emotions that we feel whether we admit to it or not.
My advice this year , Just be happy and don't sweat the little things But to keep in mind the future.. I know nothing stays the same... but we must go on.. I know when My mama passed way many years ago.. It was hard to let her go.. and to this day .
