Muscle Car Wars.. 2014..
Wow, never in the Muscle Car era have we seen such an resurgence so to speak with the Muscle Car Industry. thanks to us baby Boomers- , that are reliving - mid life crisis, about the cars we grew up driving racing and of course showing off.. Some of my favorites back in the day were the Mustang Boss 7o's,, or the Pontiac 60's Pontiac Fire birds, the Dodge Charger and Challenger and of course the Corvettes. The Corvette is the true American Super Car.. Great looks, power and proven durability and style. I really liked the last 7o's early eighties style.. It made such an impression I ended up buying a black Toyota Supra back in the day , it was a 86 style,, looked like a mini corvette, still one of my favorite cars, if I could..I would get another one.. just for kicks and giggles,,That car was fast and agile .. but in a smaller version of the Big Corvette.. ah. those were the days .. But times changed and so did the Muscle cars.. recall the ugly days of Mustang, Camaro, Pontiacs,,, late 70's early 8o's.. I think were the ugly times,, But those days are over.
Today , we are seeing a transformation and resurgence of the car wars ,, I thought we were in gas crisis? But anyways.. The Muscle Cars today are faster , stronger , and have better gas mileage than the old days go figure.. Black beauty , my dodge challenger muscle car can get 25 mpg , if I cruise around the freeways.. . why? or how? My car has eco boost, which is a system that goes into 4 cylinder effect .. cutting gas usage very dramatically. I use it most of the time. But when I don't my mpg can be in single digits.. yikes.. But anyways.. The way the Mustangs , Camaro's , Corvettes, Vipers , and such are building faster and more powerful cars,, is just amazing.. I mean,, gas is nearly 5 dollars a pop. and we have making muscle cars? It makes no sense, but if theres a market and apparently there is.. The baby boomers want to enjoy their later years with cars they used to drive or dreamed about driving in their youths.. and we muscle car fans are enjoying it .. I enjoy seeing the Corvettes, the Mustangs , Camaro's , Vipers, GTS, NISSANS.. etc on the roads,, I get a thrill.. and when they want to race?? Well what do you think I would do? Theres something invigorating watching a fast car move. Its like watching a beautiful woman dance. its something to behold. I'm not sure how long this revival will last, but for the lucky ones with muscle cars.. Enjoy it. because senses , or dollars at the gas pump will prevail. and the muscle cars we drive,,, will end up being week end show off cars , instead of the daily driver ,that I use mine for.. But as long as we can.. or I can.. I'm going to drive my car around and letting people see the muscle car images that a lot of us used to see as a youth. I know we can go back in time.. but having a throwback retro muscle car is the next best thing.. Cruising down the roads, blasting Van Halen, ACDC, METTALLICA.. is what my muscle car yearns for.. But most of all listening to my Hemi powered , loud and proud car rolling down the road.. just makes me smile, even though the neighbors look and smirk , or just plain hating on me, because I'm driving what they call a loud , noisy , attention grabbing , obnoxious hot rod, that does nothing for the environment and adds danger more than safety on the roads. I have served this great country for over 20 years and made sacrifices to my life and family, so why can I have the car of my dreams and live the remaining years enjoying life. I gave my life to protect this country and now I'm driving one of the Iconic Muscle cars today and enjoying how all the others are producing the fastest cars available to American Muscle Car fans.. I know this war will not last forever , but I'm glad I got mine.. and who knows.. Maybe I can talk my wife in getting one ,, when it time to get another car.. But that's another venture and discussion that will take a lot of talking . hehe.. But for now.. Everyone Enjoy the Muscle Car wars and what kinds of cars we are seeing and driving. Because we all know .. It will end and these Cars will become classics.. But you something.. That's what Muscle Cars are.. Here for awhile.. make an impression. than become the weekend warriors.. and classics.. until the next Muscle Car wars.. or maybe... The Muscle Car wars will last forever or until we have baby boomers still interested in the Muscle Car vibe.. Its really hard to explain the Muscle car craze.. ....Other than.. Enjoy the cars of today and if you get a chance to drive, test drive any of them, please do.. It might make you a Muscle Car crazy person like me.. Its a passion and desire I enjoy everytime I take black beauty for a cruise to the store or the gym.. Until my next blog.. Enjoy driving and be safe!!

Spiritual Sunday.. April 27,2014..
To me Sunday is the most laid back day of the week, unless its NFL football season. But the old adage going on a Sunday drive or barbecuing in the back yard and just chilling so to speak before the work , school week begins.. For me,. I like to use Sunday as the relax and get extra sleep , and rest and prepare my listing or honey do list for the week. But most of all its a day to thank God, I know some of you may not like those references , but God and his spirit has blessed me so many times, in my youth or even today. I thank him every time I wake up, and before I go to bed. I mean,, it should be that way.. just pray and talk to him when things are going well , for me,. people who ask god for help when in need or in trouble.. Is selfish... To me.. if you really have a connection. you pray always an often.. and listen to his promptings.. What" that you say? Its those intuitive , in your gut feelings you have when you are about to do things in life.. Listen to them , its advising you to do the right things. Often times, we are s busy and so self absorbed , that we don't listen to our inner feelings. Why? Because a lot of us , including myself. Believe we can handle things all by ourselves. but I know life is journey a venture and we all will make mistakes, do the wrong thing , let our emotions get the better of us.. Why? Because we are emotional beings that often need others to feel vindicated and validated in this world. But I realized , through trial and error, only the heavenly father will guide us to the right path in life. But , don't fear, because we all will do things we shouldn't do or say things we should of shown restraint , but our true family and friends realize that and love you for what you are.. For me.. We all know those family members that look for attention and say and do things that draw favorable and unfavorable reactions.. But its ok,, because in life we need people like that ,, the party people , the story tellers, jokester are needed because life would be so boring. So , my lesson today or advice, be happy in your skin, and be what you are.. and if others are offended or haters, just wave them off.. and say to them or yourself better" Its mind over matter, I don't mind because you don't matter!,.. Just remember , haters will hate and jealous and envious people are miserable.. if your miserable , how can you be happy and so they get satisfaction out of making you feel miserable.. My secret.. Smile and kill them with kindness, that will make them more miserable than using profanity or derogatory remarks.. because you showed them you are higher than them and your taking the high road.. Don't mess with the muddy waters and stay on top.. That's the way I love t think and feel. Nothing a miserable person can say or do will upset me.. I mean why should it? I mean if I'm happy with my life , my wife , my family,, why should I be concerned about someone that doesn't matter. I mean are you paying my bills or giving me money ,,, So , take your pity party and negative , doubting thoughts with you in a corner with the other losers and failures in life. I know I'm successful because I stay focused and determined to do well in life and don't let others misfortunes , interfere with my goals and aspirations. I know how can anyone be so positive all the time.. Its not easy , but you must think and self talk yourself into being positive and reflecting those images to others. Like anything in life , enthusiasm , passion and desire is contagious. people love to be around people that have those feelings.. Its human nature if people are happy and having fun,, of course you want to be around them.. So go out and spread the happiness, smile when you greet people and be happy , see how you feel and see how people treat you back.. What do you have to lose, other than a bad attitude.. be positive and be happy and don't let others change your mind set and your true self.. because they are miserable.. Be stronger than them, by ignoring their comments and going on being what you are, A winner , not a whiner, A leader , not a loser.. A positive image , not a pity party , negative Nancy, Debbie downer.. be happy and be good no matter what. It will make you and the ones around you happier !!! Until my next blog.. THURSDAY THOUGHTS.. Inspired by someone I know..
Thursday thoughts . Inspired by someone I know...
Another great day in so California. Today's talk is about Retirement issues, I have a lot of co workers , fellow shipmates that entering this phase and I want to share with them what to expect.
First off, Civilian life is as busy or as laid back as you want, for me, I'm very busy with Full time University Studies , Part -time Entrepreneurship's , kids activities as well as wife's honey do list, and whatever time, very little left over for you. Tips:
1) Time management - have a schedule and stick to it .. if you have study time - stick to those times , if you have family time - stick to it and everything gets figured in , like shopping , cleaning house ,laundry , car maintenance , bills analysis etc..
2) Make time to exercise- 30 - 1 hour a day is what I try to aim for. because of the busy scheduled its more than just keeping the weight down, but its for stress relief and just interacting with people. Most military folks enjoyed daily interaction with people. When you retire , you need to find interaction, its not as easy as going to the base or rolling our of your rack to see or greet people.
3) Use your Gi bill , its a great way to replace lost income,,,, plus schools like National University and University of Phoenix provides schedules that fit into a working persons schedule .
4) Use linkedIn, and other forms of social networking to put out your skills and training and don't let your ego interfere with job search , let people know early and often you are retiring and start the network process and even jobs or career that don't fit you, utilizes them just for contacts,, everyone knows someone.. You never know where that job lead can come from.. Mine came from a class mate and relative... Just letting people know will produce leads like nothing else..
5) Take care of yourself. mentally, physically , emotionally, always talk about your issues with wifey ans share your frustrations and fears, it wont be easy , because they saw you as a rock , but if they understand what your going though will help you transition into civilian life ..
6) attend job fairs and workshops and take notes , and collect business cards and always have a resume ready to submit. Always ask questions and always been pleasant and smile often,
7) Dress to impress , if you don't have a interview suit - purchase one and be prepared to wear it like the uniform you wore during the military- impression, perception and image go hand in hand with everything you do.. Look and act your best at all times,,, Every person you meet could lead you to another career or opportunity..
8) Save money now and when you retire, make it a habit.. savings now will benefit you later in life , for life insurance , health care and retirement needs, In other words pay yourself first , before anything else.
9) stay positive regarding job search or new career , and always think out of the box, what you did on the military relates to something in civilian use all the tools that military transition classes teach you and always look to improve yourself with free workshops on base , online or on campus if your attending school.
10) Last but not least. Be persistent and Positive in all you do and don't let set backs or frustrations , slow you down, remember its a process and like anything great in life.. It takes time to find out what you want to do, how you want to do it and when and where your gonna do it.. Research and study every day and always seek out others that have retired before you and always absorb what fits for you.. Your the master of your destiny and happiness , ask what do I like to do and how can I achieve that goal. Its not easy and human nature , likes to be contented and complacent about life.. But if you want to succeed and be a productive citizen in the civilian world, you will have to adjust and re invent yourself many times over. I cant tell you how many times I have adjusted , re arranged my resume to fit what the company is looking for.. remember you have to fit into their company culture , not the other way around.. You are starting anew. They don't care about good conduct awards or certificates earned in the military. The key is develop a strong resume and always develop skills on anything that can help you in your career choice. Military retirement is not the end , but a beginning of a new phase n life and if approached properly.. It can be a rebirth and a regeneration of your skills and talents.. Good luck and always be positive. Take Each day at a time and develop a plan each day so you don't miss out on what needs to be done.. Time is on your side now.. Use it wisely.. N more long watches or long deployments away from family.. Now is the time to enjoy family time , but also enjoy your new pursuits that will lead you to what makes you happy. Hey if we can stand dirt bags and cramped living spaces for over 20 years , we can enjoy the freedoms and space that many of the civilians have enjoyed .. Its a new beginning and I'm happy to share my techniques that have helped me use all the resources the military has benefited us with .. Have a great day!!

Happy Easter 2014.. Inspried by my Mama..
Happy Easter 2014.. Inspired by my Mama..
For so many years as a youth I spent Easter with my mama and family. It was a time to reunite with loved ones and just share a day of worship and thankfulness. At the time , I thought those Sundays would last forever and it will away be the most cherished times of my life. Her passing made me rethink about life , religion and my role in life. She always said to love my wife and kids, and no matter what struggles or pains I will go through .keep pressing and never give up.. Its God's will whatever happens is for a reason.. I thought.. perhaps , but now I realize all the pains , the tragedies the hardships in my life ,made me realize.. enjoy the good times, but no matter how long or short you life is,, your going to face tragedies of some kinds or misfortunes. I found those feelings of depression and hurt eventually goes away.. When my mama passed away , I thought my world was over.. I was angry at the world and everyone else.. My wife was supportive but I was hurt , I mean my mama was my everything ,even though I lived in japan. Just knowing she was alive and well in States , made me happy. But when she passed it was a tough time in my life.. It took years for me to recover fully and it also made me realize to cherish the memories , the videos , the pictures of her.. and most of all I wanted to keep her legacy alive by being like her. By being generous, loving and caring and having a kind demeanor to people. People like to be happy and my mama's gift was she was able to make people smile with her kindness. I try to do that everyday as a tribute to her legacy. She loved my wife and kids and she always taught me to take care of family.. Avoid temptation and bad people. Because they will always test a good man to make bad moves. I know we are all born sinners and we all have our weaknesses.. but to take time out and think about the ones that are true to you is what will get you though the rough times in life.. Life isn't easy and our destinies are not always clear but we have to keep going and just be generous and good and when that time comes.. I pray we are all ready to accept our fates. I know some of you don't believe in religious doctrine and such that's your choice , but we all need to realize we all need one another and even though some people in some cultures have hurt us or offended us at times.. To be the better man or woman, or take the higher road is the best step to do.. My Easter lesson is simple. Don't let others distract you from doing what you love to do, don't let others misfortunes and negative thoughts change how you treat people. People are people and we all humans, we say and do things that are offensive, but we all must learn to accept our weaknesses and others because we are imperfect and anyone thinks they are, you are a unrealistic person.. In order or achieve you must believe.. Nothing in life happens by chance, everyone makes efforts and decisions and ride with them. Whatever your passion in life , go for it, and when it happens , you have reached true happiness. Happiness is just a thought away , Spread happiness today to family and friends and have a great Easter Sunday!! Until my next blog Take care and be good to people..

Football Friday April 18,2014- Chargers news..
Football Friday - April 18.2014 Charger News..
Well first off, what a great day in Socal.. I mean we live in the best place for weather,, I know I have lived in rainy Seattle foggy and cold bay area frisco and Oakland,, the heat of Florida and the cold of the east coast and the snowy conditions of Northern Japan.. Nothing beats SOCAL.
Now to the Chargers, its great news we resigned Cory Leiuget and Malcolm Floyd is well , but the draft is coming and n Telesco we trust or McCoy we trust , I'm sure they evaluating whats out there and what could be around when we draft. I like NT .. and defense ,like a corner.. But my take , is always take the best talent and skill no matter what. Why pick a need if the player up is a talent or a play maker.. those are hard to come by.. I know the Chargers are loaded on offense,, But if yo can add fuel to the fire why not? Air Coryell revisited.. Allen is a stud and will be for a long time.. Get him another stud wide out especially a deep threat . the bolts will be dangerous , along with the triple threat running game of Mathews, Brown and Wood head.. We could send a new trend in the NFL.. We all know this is a copy cat league. But back to the chargers needs.. pass rusher edge rusher ,, and physical corner at least one , two would be great , but we need to address those needs especially manning has the Thomas duo and pretty good running game. The chargers were a competitive team and with a few good draft moves , like last year.. we can make a run.. The broncos make it to the Superbowl with a poor defense and Seattle had a average offense.. So the formula for success is debatable. Well first off, what a great day in Socal.. I mean we live in the best place for weather,, I know I have lived in rainy Seattle foggy and cold bay area frisco and Oakland,, the heat of Florida and the cold of the east coast and the snowy conditions of Northern Japan.. Nothing beats SOCAL.
Now to the Chargers, its great news we resigned Cory Leiuget and Malcolm Floyd is well , but the draft is coming and n Telesco we trust or McCoy we trust , I'm sure they evaluating whats out there and what could be around when we draft. I like NT .. and defense ,like a corner.. But my take , is always take the best talent and skill no matter what. Why pick a need if the player up is a talent or a play maker.. those are hard to come by.. I know the Chargers are loaded on offense,, But if yo can add fuel to the fire why not? Air Coryell revisited.. Allen is a stud and will be for a long time.. Get him another stud wide out especially a deep threat . the bolts will be dangerous , along with the triple threat running game of Mathews, Brown and Wood head.. We could send a new trend in the NFL.. We all know this is a copy cat league. But back to the chargers needs.. pass rusher edge rusher ,, and physical corner at least one , two would be great , but we need to address those needs especially manning has the Thomas duo and pretty good running game. The chargers were a competitive team and with a few good draft moves , like last year.. we can make a run.. The broncos make it to the Superbowl with a poor defense and Seattle had a average offense.. So the formula for success is debatable. Good Friday to Everyone . April 18,2014, Inspired by my mama..
Good Friday to everyone, for many of us this is one of the most solemn days in our religion, and it was during my life time when my mama was alive. She was a sweetheart and the coolest mom ever, She spoiled me, she protected me and she taught me to always be good. Yes, even when people mistreated me or what. She always said turn your cheek. I loved her for that . But I also grew up under a strict old school navy retired sailor that shaped my ego side. But this about my mama.. On Good Fridays until her untimely death , meant of course going to church , praying and honoring Jesus Christ and just being around her.. She would bake and cook all the goodies I loved.. Since it was a solemn day , we ate no meat and we didn't express too much laughter or what, it was just a cool quiet Friday.. We would just spend time together and , even though I didn't think it would end.. But as we all know ,. life is always changing.. Soon enough I graduated college and joined the navy.. and and she was gone at my first overseas duty.. It was the most shocking and devastating thing to ever happen in my life. I mean its mama.. I just spend 30 great days with her before traveling to japan.. If anything it brought me closer to my wife who years earlier lost her mother to heart disease. Now we both were suffering , but in our pain and misery at the time , we got closer and bonded like no other couple,, Its strange how adversity in our lives made us get closer.. especially having our second child in japan.. That was a wonderful experience and I miss my kids being kids,. Now they are teenagers , doing their own thing and being with friends. But I know I taught them well and showed them that hard work, discipline and being good will get you far in life. I owe all my success and persona to my dearly departed mama, who taught me to respect people and honor your parents and always do your best and above all help your fellow man or neighbors in need. I still hold that true and it has given me many good memories with all the neighbors I lived with in Washington state , overseas japan,, San Diego and now the Temecula valley areas.. I miss you mama and I will keep your legacy alive by being what you were a wonderful human being with a great heart and spirit. Today is good Friday and I recall those wonderful days I spent with my mama.. May all of you have a great day and take care until my next blog...

WEDNESDAY WISDOMS.. APRIL 14.2014..
Wednesday wisdom's . April 16.2014...
The news are reporting more thefts and robberies and burglaries in our neighborhoods..
My Steps to fight crime:
1) Always take notes of cars , license plates and people if they are unfamiliar or what.. You never know when such info could come in to force.. Its what I do.. when I take walks around the neighborhood..
2) Leave things left out like. garden tools or hoses not securely wrapped up.. why? It leaves the impression the people are working on stuff or they are still at home .. Perception is always the key to protecting your home.
3) Leave lights and even TV's on.. the impression someone is home. I know it burns up electricity , but if you can prevent a break in.. its well worth it... If you can use timers for your lights and TV's..
4) Close your blinds -- people use binoculars to look in , so if you don't want to invite them to look at your stuff, be humble and close your blinds or curtains.. Use locks on your windows and always lock your house when departing.. I mean.... if they are going to break in. they will find a way. but why make it easy?
5) Buy a alarm system.. ADT , or what.. peace of mind is important to me.. they may not stop the crime , but at least you have something in place.
6) Use cameras in the front , back and sides of the houses. Costco has great camera's as well as tool shops,, Just having them out there , might make them think twice..
7) Lock up you valuables and don't leave passwords or such left around.. Protect not only your valuables but your identity too.
8) If you have a spare car park it in the drive way.. Burglars.. want the easiest point of entry , if they see cars in the drive way,, they will look for another house .. Remember most crooks don't want to be confronted and by having doubts about your house can do wonders.. cars in the drive way.. garden tools or toys left around.. Means,. people in the house..
9) Lastly have a inventory of your stuff and if possible mark them. By having these items inventoried and marked , you have a better chance of recovery,,, and if they do try to sell,, having markings could doom the sale for them.. Most people don't want to but marked up stuff. its spells hot or stolen property.
10) My final tip.. Be vigilant and be proactive, if something seems unusual,,, take notice and don't be afraid to tell the police about your concerns.. Cops cant be everywhere , and by being a pro active member like Myself,, I make my house and neighborhood a tougher place to invade. I know a lot of my neighbors think I'm a renegade , citizen, but that's how I roll. I take no chances in protecting my house and neighborhood. Don't think I'm protected , who cares if others get robbed... Bad thought. if you let your neighborhood be victimized,, you will be the next victim.. One of my neighbors, shot down intruder one night and I applaud her and believe me , if someone should do that to me.. I will show nu mercy.. My family means more than anything else in my life. Including my prized possession " Black Beauty".. These are my tips based on experience and law enforcement tips .. Use them and be vigilant and may your neighborhood and home be a protective and safe community..

Are the Chargers primed to make another Playoff run.. 2014..
Are the San Diego Chargers primed to make another playoff run. ? My take is yes, consider this they had a new coach , new GM and a very tough schedule and they played Denver tough both times and splitting the two games. The difference was a play of two on both games. But I see the Chargers making big strides if they can do two things through the draft It'S free agency.. Of course we need a shut down corner to compliment our young secondary and we need a edge rusher like Dwight Freeney, We are hoping he gets well and he can gives us a another season or two and perhaps prep the new guy.. Its imperative we get a better pash rush.. The Seahawks did that and they went on to win the SUPERBOWL.. Sure its nice to have aggressive corners and line backers , but a great pass rush can do wonders for a defense.. The Chargers are a special wide out in Keenan Allen. I know the experts say he's too slow. too skinny, too short ,, etc.. But many years ago,, They said the same thing aout Jerry Rice and he became the Greatest receiver of all time.. Its not the size or speed of a player , but one's heart and mind are intangibles that are not easily determined. The Chargers need to get him another wide out and these offense with Mathews, Brown and woodhead , could be the triple threat new style running game the league has never seen. The ball control offense and that ground and pound running game will place the chargers in good positions to win a lot of games in the future. Rivers doesn't have to be the main guy anymore, he can depend on the run game or the short passing game to keep the offense going.. Pkus giving plenty of rest to that defense.. rest and energy and a big lead can help a defense play better. I see the chargers taking everything into account next year and they will take advantage of their skill sets and make 2014. a true year to contend. It wont be easy , but who said winning anything n the NFL is.. The bolts have regained their mojo and have a franchise quarterback that believes in Mcoys coaching style and Telesco's eye for talent. This team will be exciting to watch and if they can get a pass rusher or two in the draft and get some help on the defense.. This team is only steps away from the Big Game. I know.. People are saying come on.. one 9-7 record and beating the broncos doesn't make you contenders , but I say ,, Why Not? This team was never blwn out and they always played their hearts out. They have a established quarterback and a sound offensive line.. Conpared to the rest of the AFC west , our offensive line is the most in tact and stable of all four teams.. Its one of those qualities , many teams neglect to solidify . and I'm happy the Bolts have established a sound offensive line. As for the defense.. Like I said earlier make some moves in the draft and free agency and or trade and lets make a legitimate run for the title.. Its hard to repeat and the Seahawks will be tested and because the chargers are looked at , as under achievers and chokers so to speak.. They have nothing to lose , but a lot to gain.. If they can make those moves to improve the pass rush and get help in the secondary.. Then this team will make some noise and who knows.. This is the NFL - Not for long... No figure League, No Fun League.. New Financial leaders league. its unpredictable and hard to figure, but that's why its so loved and revered by so many fans , despite the crazy rules or fines for playing too rough!! Charger fans, have faith, this team has achieved more than even the organization expected in its first year and based on the moves and possible draft day moves this team is heading on the right path and its gonna be fun to watch these young studs develop.. I see the AFC WEST , once the AFC WORST,, become one the best and most competitive divisions in the league,, if the Raiders can get their act together.. They have wasted so many number one draft picks that have become draft pricks.. and now attaining a over the hill past his prime quarterback in Schuabb, just goes to show the raiders are desperate for leadership. But that's another blog if I do dare to write about their ills. But for now,, Charger fans. Look ahead to a great off season and draft selections. because its gonna be fun to watch and see the young talents and the old get this ship on track for another great season and deeper playoff run.. Cherish the times, Inspired by the moving out of a lifelong neighbor.. April 15,2014..
Cherish the times...
Yes, I heard the rumors and talks and it finally hit me , my lifelong neighbor has moved away. Whats weird or even sad is that we didn't even say good bye to one another. I mean I could tell from the aloofness and the distance they kept away fro me these past months were a bit troubling and hurtful. But after watching the moving trucks take all their goods away and see them drive off , in a way it was the best way to leave. I saw them loading up their stuff this morning while I dropped off my son, but it really hit me when I saw the trucks roll away and see them drive off, I mean I recall many days and nights were I would wave and shake hands and share stories and how he said I had the cleanest and sexiest MUSCLE CAR in so cal.. Now,, I don't have that neighbor to wave too , or that close friend to call when I just needed to vent or such. I know life is hard , nothing ever stays the same , but I guess I thought my longtime neighbor would be there forever. But in just 11 years I have seen a hand full of neighbors either pass away or move away without even saying good bye.. Maybe it was for the best.. despite my nacho ness and toughness I do get sensitive and sentimental and I know the neighbors did this to soften the blow.. But you know what it is still sad, and its a void I will have , not having that neighbor I knew for so many years. Sure , the next neighbor might be cool, but I'm not counting on that.. But anyways..its ok.. I'm still the loudest , coolest and nicest neighbor around.. and the ones that are still here, they get treated to black beauty driving down the road , or myself ,, boxing or dancing in my garage or watching me on those hot summer nights. detailing and washing my cars.. But for now.. I'm a little sad to see a part of my life ,, go away .. and its sad to think that life is like that.. You never know whats going to happen.. Its funny.,, I was the one talking about moving,, and it ends up they moved away before I did. My neighborhood was so close knit when I first moved In, but now.. It seems my neighborhood is full of new strangers that don't want to get to know one another. Its too bad,, as humans we all need to embrace one another and reach out and I'm hoping the new neighbor does that and perhaps replace the void lost when my lifelong neighbor was there. But for now I cherish the smiles, the laughs and the many stories I shared with him and his wife on the street or at his house. Those are truly cherished times and I will always have a special place in my mind and heart that I had a great neighbor and friend that shared many great times. My moral is this.. Cherish all the times you have with anyone in life, because we all never know when it might end.. maybe not in death or what. but just moving away.. Its like those days when I was Young and I had to move around and learn how to meet and greet people.. good luck David and Joyce, I will miss you guys so much , including my youngest son who had the opportunity to have David be a substitute teacher... I will always cherish the times and the many words of wisdom that I have used in my daily life or blogs.. Like The more successful you become , the more haters you will meet , some people cant or wont accept anothers person success because they are saddened by their own state of affairs.. I found that to be so true.. You cant please everyone,, and I don't try to anymore.. I like to be around positive people with goals and ambition's and have that drive or desire to succeed. Until my next blog.. Cherish the times with family and friends.... because you never know when it will end!!

Like The more successful you become , the more haters you will meet , some people cant or wont accept anothers person success because they are saddened by their own state of affairs.. Pacquiao vs Bradley II - My Take..
First off , I had a great time with family and friends at my humble home, great food ,drink and of course my passion for Pac,an I think I threw more punches than he did..haha.
Now the fight, Pacman was quick and fast and showed great foot work, in and out ,, He was a great counter puncher and stayed out of range when the bigger , stronger and faster undefeated Bradley wanted to knock him out. Bradley landed some great power shots , but he missed on so many shots and because of that he got tired and frustrated , all those show boating , shaking his head were antics of a frustrated and beaten man.. If you don't think so, take a close look at his swollen high cheek bone.. He was beaten badly. He took a lot of shots and of they decide to do it again.. Bradley will get knocked out.. As for the vood doo deal with Manny's mama.. That's was hilarious and ridiculous.. Thank Goodness Manny has more class than his mama. That' was embarrassing an all accounts,,, Talk about ruining your sons image. But hey don't all or didn't all our mama's do or say things that embarrassed the hell out of us.. Its that Mothers love.. But please mama , no more. I don't want to ever see that again.. wth??
Now the future of Pacman.. He says he want to fight another 2 years ,, so if he fights twice a year his average.. lately. that mean 4 big money fights,, he made 25 million , so he can make at least another 100-200 million,, But the question is who does it fight and is Mayweather involved.. If I was a promoter .. This means you need to make the fight very soon. To be honest the fight has already went past its prime, both fighters are no longer on their primes and it has lost some of its luster But Floyd wanted to wait and its has arrive Floyd.. Its clear anything above 135 LBS .. the ko power is not the same. Manny has been taking a lot more shots in his last few fights and the power punching is not there anymore.. So Floyd.. its the best time to fight a guy who is thinking retirement and has political and show business activities waiting.. Lets hope the fight happen and no matter who wins,, at least the boxing fans will get a super fight that they have been waiting on for years... MMA , UFC,, is the new king because they give you the fights you want and they usually get it right with the winner. Its truly a clash of the titans.. But , because of politics , because of corruption in the sport of boxing.. we may never get to see it.. and what a shame and it could well be the final blow to the sport.. The credibility , the validity and relevance of the sport is dying.. How can you follow a sport thats never seen on regular tv , or even cable tv.. The old timers are dying and new followers are few in the making because of the craziness and lack of authority or consistency in the sport. But that's a another blog.. He has displayed the grit and condidience to fight anyone at any weight class and win them all.. if not at first ,, later fights, that's impressive ..He finds ways to figure out fighters.. and even after knockout to himself, he gets back up and fights on.. He has tremendous heart and desire and he will be regarded as one the best fighters ever.. 20 years of fighting. Many exciting kncokouts and and championship fights against fighters in their prime.. he didn't have a undefeated record , because he challenged everyone , ready or not and wasn't afraid to lose and try again.. The issue with Floyd is the undefeated record is his calling card because his fights are boring to watch.. Great defensive fighter , perhaps one of the best in the game,. But action packed punching is Manny's forte and desire and passion is also well respected. When both their career ends.. I bet more people will look up Manny's fights to watch , more so than the boring defeinsive minded Mayweather.. I'm willing to to bet a pay check on that.. Its so clear Manny is a more exciting , risk taking champion, than the careful , selective who is my opponent champion mayweather has become.. Pacman has set a legacy that Mayweather did not do,, except never lose, and because of that.. Floyd is contented to not take a chance and get beat or beaten up by the true people champion Manny Pacquiao.. My take.. Manny is the true pound for pound champion fighter in today's game.. and he doesn't need Mayweather to validate his greatness. He has shown that over his 20 years of boxing. Thursday Tips - Invest in yourself - April 10,2014
Well Good day to everyone ! My tips for today.. Its simple Invest yourself? What does that mean? Well first off pay yourself.. Put money away monthly , weekly , bi weekly but do out away money for your future ,. Just do the math.. a 100 dollars a month in one year that's 1200 , in five its 6000, in ten years that 1200, in 20 years that's 24000.. not counting interest , and believe it or not retirement is coming for alot of us and for your young studs,, the best way to prepare for the future is plan today on saving.. Just a thought..
Another tip is take care of yourself.. eat well. exercise and take time to meditate and relax.. We all are hassled by the fast pace life,, we need time to care for oneself.. and also your loved ones,. Its the little things make a relationship last...?/
Okay ..
1) Making sure the house is clean
2) Making sure to say hello and greet loved one , every day and text them even when they don't ask for one.. Its better you overly communicate than don't..
3) respect , respect one another and if one of you get angry , someone has to chill and have the calmer state of mind.. Believe me.. two hot heads will not solve anything, and most likely make things worse..
4) Ask spouse about days or schools day? Spouses like to know if you care. Care and re
spect will carry a relationship farther than the occasional flowers or candy.. I know it doesn't sound romantic.. but based on my 20 years plus of marriage.. Loved ones rather see a clean house or a hot meal at the end of the day , than flowers and candy, because,, it takes thought , time and effort even to cook spaghetti.. the mind set there is , you took time out to prepare something for the family. Its the little things that make spouses happy.
5) Last but not least , if you don't respect and love yourself , how can you share it with others. You have to feel it in yourself , in order for you to share it with others. I always make a effort to make myself happy and look and feel my best. Its a secret gift , I want to share with you, in order to give love to others you must love oneself, and think about the big picture,, Everyone in your life is important and need to be treated as such.. Don't think your tragedies or misfortunes are the only things that matter. I have seen the poor and lonely around the world. I thank God, for my position in my life and I know I have a duty to be happy and give to charities and share what I have with people that are unfortunate. Its the human thing to do, and I just ask everyone to think about the other less fortunate people around the world that would love to have the tough decisions we have to make , like what to eat , or wear or even what to drive.. We have many things to be thankful for and we all need to thank the man above for all your triumph's and achievements. We all need one another and we all are doing great , don't forget that.. Invest in yourself and take care of those that true to you that will help you enjoy life. which is every ones true aspiration !! Have a great day and enjoy !!

Market Level Marketing , I hear alot of people talk of it , speak about it , even call it a scam , a pyramid scheme , a thing to stay away from. First off, people that make false or inaccurate fallacies are the ones you need to steer away from. For example because a certain person makes a statement on face book and everyone agrees to the statement. People , lets get critical, first of all , research , investigate and think about things. Don't just jump on something because it seems like the popular point of view. If everyone were crashing their cars into walls one day , I don't think I would do it no matter how popular that activity was having.
Now back to Market Level Marketing, companies , small business is taking a different approach to advertising..
1) They are using word of mouth advertising, if for example, you get a cool tint job and people ask about it , most likely you share the place with folks. Well in essence that's how Market Level Marketing works, you share your good experiences with your family , friends , co workers , students.
2) Its cheaper than media or internet advertising, thus controlling cost of the product and or services.
3) Its not hard to organize and if effectively implemented you can create a lifetime of networking contacts and customers, but the deal is taking care of the business partners or people you deal with.
Lastly , its the new age of advertising and getting your product heard and seen with people that need it, what a better way to advertise than keep it with family and friends contact. Like I said earlier , if you have a great product and your customers are satisfied, than you have developed a relationship of trust and understanding among your family and friends as well as co workers and students. Nothing beats word of mouth and past experiences. We all see it and feel it in our daily lives and even on face book postings , family and friends asking for advice or assistance. But most face book postings is all about jokes , family and daily event happenings , but the few of us that like to post factual or wisdom that people can use,, I'm happy to provide useful information that the certain facebookers may be looking for, but if anything, MY TAKE on Market Level Marketing works because its a old age system coming back in vogue. Pacquiao Vs. Bradley II . The Prediction..
Both fighters are in shape , rippling abs, strong arms , well conditioned athletes. Bradley is confident , young , strong and unbeaten. I know he should of lost to Pacman , and his other two fights were questionable , even his win over Marquez, It seemed Marquez after knocking out the pound for pound best , he didn't want to fight? Or did the performance enhancing drugs wear off? Whatever the case his fight with Bradley was disappointing at best. I mean , its one thing to get one of the greatest wins in anyone career and then to lose to a okay fighter.. Not an elitist, but that's boxing anything can an usually happen..
Now the fight prediction.. Both fighters are hungry to prove themselves, its hard to imagine a 20 year veteran like Pacman needs to prove something , but he does. People , the fans, the critics , the experts ,, feel he no longer has that fire and desire to hurt someone.. He doesn't have that killer instinct.. Fans are saying it and even Bradley has stated in his face ,, You don't belong in the ring anymore.. in other words , all the humanitarian efforts , socializing with actors and politicians , has soften his mind set.. and lets be honest , that would happen to anyone , theres nothing wrong with being civil and polite and conscious of man kind.. But.. in boxing... its a kill or be killed mentality, you have to be mental. a little out your mind to keep the mental edge over another fighter. Manny has been family oriented, has been socializing with the upper society members , he thinks about man kind issues and developments, in other words he has become humanized.. Which in all sports ,, boxing MMA or such.. that's the death nail to success. I see it in Manny's eyes.. When Bradley disrespected him and on the HBO series, I saw a flASH A almost pissed off look in his eyes,, as to say , how dare this guy insult me, all the wars and fights and championship victories,, and this young , confident , undefeated fighter say those things.. I saw a spark.. I saw anger that I haven't seen in years.. Now will that spark , that anger that disrespect manifest itself on Saturdays April 12,2014..
My take ,, Manny has refocused , has energized his efforts.. He not only wants a big win, but he wants a spectacular knock win over a undefeated and confident fighter. It wont be easy,, Bradley has a great chin and has never been knocked out and Has that mental toughness that he took Manny' s best shots in the first fight. Now an older m slower and even wiser Manny comes into play.. I see Manny starting fast, hitting him often, and when that moment comes to finish him, he will do it. He will let go THE frustration and anger that has beset him ever since that fateful night with Bradley, he also is angered about being careless against Marquez when he was winning all the rounds , and the fight until the knock out blow. Manny has been a inspiration and a motivator for so many people, because he is so humble and small and doesn't look the part of a fighter. He has given so much to the sport and now he wants to give it another strong finish.. The career is ending and nearing its twilight, but come Saturday night, we will see that left hook and quick combinations come into play and when he hurts Bradley, he will finish the deal.. I know he hasn't had a knockout in years , and its time he gets back into that mode. He has fought the best fighters of this era in their primes and in their own weight classes.. Remember he is a little guy fighting at weight classes way over his original weight. But I see him being the faster , stronger and smarter fighter Saturday night. It will be fun to watch his left hook connect and his quick combinations frustrate and finally wear down the emotionally driven and excited fighter. Bradley wants a knockout and he will take chances because he feels disrespected by the boxing media.. But I can also see a cautious and defensive minded Bradley , but Manny will not let him stay that way.. When push comes to shove , the punches and the quickness will make Bradley come to fight and when he does, its gonna be a war of attrition. Its always hard to knock out a fighter that has never been knocked out. But I see the writing on the wall, Bradley has been been knocked down ,and badly beaten mentally ,, in the past few fights.. Sure he's undefeated , but the truth is , He was dominating in those fights and were given gift decisions,, something boxing has A bad reputation during its long existence.. That's why Manny knows,, he wont win a close decision In vegas, He needs to be dominating and knock him out, its what his fans want and Vegas wants too. I see the re emergence of a Legend and a start of the last stages of a great career. Manny will bring a victory and spectacular knockout to begin his final stages of his boxing and human legacy. Don't miss this fight, it will be edgy , emotional and above all something to watch and remember forever. Manny is not done and he has that fighting spirit that so many fans love. He fights anyone ,, anywhere , anytime any place and win lose or draw he gives it his best. Its too bad the so called greatest fighter of this generation \Floyd Mayweather doesn't do the same.. If Manny is such a push over and a easy fight,, then make it,, Figting a undersized over matched maidana doesn't impress me or even add any stature to your legacy.. If you want to be the best you beat the best of your era.. Manny is the best fighter out there, fighting everyone.. Marquez, Bradley , Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Dela hoya , Moseley, Barerra , Morales , etc.. Its a whose who list of champions , BUT .. Moneyman feels he doesn't need to prove himself and that's too bad.. Both fighters are in shape , rippling abs, strong arms , well conditioned athletes. Bradley is confident , young , strong and unbeaten. I know he should of lost to Pacman , and his other two fights were questionable , even his win over Marquez, It seemed Marquez after knocking out the pound for pound best , he didn't want to fight? Or did the performance enhancing drugs wear off? Whatever the case his fight with Bradley was disappointing at best. I mean , its one thing to get one of the greatest wins in anyone career and then to lose to a okay fighter.. Not an elitist, but that's boxing anything can an usually happen..
Now the fight prediction.. Both fighters are hungry to prove themselves, its hard to imagine a 20 year veteran like Pacman needs to prove something , but he does. People , the fans, the critics , the experts ,, feel he no longer has that fire and desire to hurt someone.. He doesn't have that killer instinct.. Fans are saying it and even Bradley has stated in his face ,, You don't belong in the ring anymore.. in other words , all the humanitarian efforts , socializing with actors and politicians , has soften his mind set.. and lets be honest , that would happen to anyone , theres nothing wrong with being civil and polite and conscious of man kind.. But.. in boxing... its a kill or be killed mentality, you have to be mental. a little out your mind to keep the mental edge over another fighter. Manny has been family oriented, has been socializing with the upper society members , he thinks about man kind issues and developments, in other words he has become humanized.. Which in all sports ,, boxing MMA or such.. that's the death nail to success. I see it in Manny's eyes.. When Bradley disrespected him and on the HBO series, I saw a flASH A almost pissed off look in his eyes,, as to say , how dare this guy insult me, all the wars and fights and championship victories,, and this young , confident , undefeated fighter say those things.. I saw a spark.. I saw anger that I haven't seen in years.. Now will that spark , that anger that disrespect manifest itself on Saturdays April 12,2014..
My take ,, Manny has refocused , has energized his efforts.. He not only wants a big win, but he wants a spectacular knock win over a undefeated and confident fighter. It wont be easy,, Bradley has a great chin and has never been knocked out and Has that mental toughness that he took Manny' s best shots in the first fight. Now an older m slower and even wiser Manny comes into play.. I see Manny starting fast, hitting him often, and when that moment comes to finish him, he will do it. He will let go THE frustration and anger that has beset him ever since that fateful night with Bradley, he also is angered about being careless against Marquez when he was winning all the rounds , and the fight until the knock out blow. Manny has been a inspiration and a motivator for so many people, because he is so humble and small and doesn't look the part of a fighter. He has given so much to the sport and now he wants to give it another strong finish.. The career is ending and nearing its twilight, but come Saturday night, we will see that left hook and quick combinations come into play and when he hurts Bradley, he will finish the deal.. I know he hasn't had a knockout in years , and its time he gets back into that mode. He has fought the best fighters of this era in their primes and in their own weight classes.. Remember he is a little guy fighting at weight classes way over his original weight. But I see him being the faster , stronger and smarter fighter Saturday night. It will be fun to watch his left hook connect and his quick combinations frustrate and finally wear down the emotionally driven and excited fighter. Bradley wants a knockout and he will take chances because he feels disrespected by the boxing media.. But I can also see a cautious and defensive minded Bradley , but Manny will not let him stay that way.. When push comes to shove , the punches and the quickness will make Bradley come to fight and when he does, its gonna be a war of attrition. Its always hard to knock out a fighter that has never been knocked out. But I see the writing on the wall, Bradley has been been knocked down ,and badly beaten mentally ,, in the past few fights.. Sure he's undefeated , but the truth is , He was dominating in those fights and were given gift decisions,, something boxing has A bad reputation during its long existence.. That's why Manny knows,, he wont win a close decision In vegas, He needs to be dominating and knock him out, its what his fans want and Vegas wants too. I see the re emergence of a Legend and a start of the last stages of a great career. Manny will bring a victory and spectacular knockout to begin his final stages of his boxing and human legacy. Don't miss this fight, it will be edgy , emotional and above all something to watch and remember forever. Manny is not done and he has that fighting spirit that so many fans love. He fights anyone ,, anywhere , anytime any place and win lose or draw he gives it his best. Its too bad the so called greatest fighter of this generation \Floyd Mayweather doesn't do the same.. If Manny is such a push over and a easy fight,, then make it,, Figting a undersized over matched maidana doesn't impress me or even add any stature to your legacy.. If you want to be the best you beat the best of your era.. Manny is the best fighter out there, fighting everyone.. Marquez, Bradley , Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Dela hoya , Moseley, Barerra , Morales , etc.. Its a whose who list of champions , BUT .. Moneyman feels he doesn't need to prove himself and that's too bad.. Because as time goes by , People will remember Manny's great victories and knockouts.. and Mayweather will be remembered as a undefeated fighter , but was afraid to fight the People champion, and that in a sense will be a loss in his record , that can't be listed , but will always be brought up when comparing the two.. Pacquiao will return to glory and try to entice the Great Mayweather to make the fight of the century.. and finally prove who is the best fighter of this era.. But Come saturday night April 12,2014.. Dear Manny Pacquiao , Fight your fight !! April 12,2014..r
Dear Manny Pacquiao,
I'm one of your biggest fans i have attended so many of your fights , I have a lifetime of memories , the Marquez, Morales , the Barrera wars were classics. My biggest fight thrill was that special night of the Hatton fight, not only did I win big money , but also have a collectors item painting that I will cherish forever, but that night was one of the most spectacular and brutal nights I ever saw live.. But since that night.. You haven't been the same. perhaps it made you think about the dangers of boxing , maybe you became civilized , maybe you became complacent with your skills,, and then the Marquez 4 fight, you got nailed,, You tried to bring back time, but you got careless..then came Brandon Rios fight, not your best effort but technically sound , but boring.. Come Saturday night.. No pressure but you need to do what you do best , and that's bang and attack.. I know ,its a danger to be that way.. But that's what you are a danger to society,, its like a muscle car.. looks great , but can be scary with the speed and power. Come Saturday night , lets see that again. and if you get knocked out.. so be it.. its the sport , and its you.. I know your a good man and your always looking to please people , but guess what? You need to please yourself and do what makes you happy, and I miss that happy warrior with that reckless spirit , go after Tim Bradley and make him realize that he was given a gift the first time around.. Don't give Vegas , the judges another chance to rob you and piss you off, it was a total injustice the last time around.. Finish the deal. knock him out and prove to the world, Your not done,, that you have alot more fight in you, prove everyone wrong that your civilized or that you have become too rich and complacent.. that knock you you suffered , should of been the ultimate wake up call.. BOXING AS you know its not for the weak minded , show them Manny that you are the whirlwind that can still excite the masses and make Saturday night the beginning to the end of your fabulous career. Lets see you finish strong in your last years of boxing.. you owe it to yourself , your family , friends and most of all you owe it to your legacy. you are one of the greatest fighters ever. Your multiple championships and unpredictable victories over Dela Hoya, Moseley, Cotto, Margarito, Barrera, Marquez and Morales are stuff that makes you a legend in your own time. You have the chance to regain the popularity and image and get the respect Saturday night and perhaps ,, draw out the big fight everyone has been praying and begging and hoping for.. Make it a New start Monday April 7, 2014..
Make it new start Monday! What do I mean, Let this be the new beginning for financial freedom and security, in this day and age of high tech gadgets and fast information.. The one thing that is unnoticed or not taught is financial sense. its not taught in schools or even with us parents. The thinking is , they will learn and figure it out when they make money.. Wrong... The problem with that school of thought is. When we go out to make a living, we are concerned about buying that house or fancy car and all the furnishings that go with it.. We protect everything , but our financial future, we shop until we drop, we charge credit cards to the max.. and we forget someday.. we will be on a fixed income, retirement age.. But during the working years , we think that earning power will last forever..then.. medical emergence's hits , or heaven forbid, layoffs, work stoppages, etc.. Now, things change.. we are searching for answers.. Well here a few tips on a Monday morning..
1) Pay yourself- in other words put money away in your IRA's or 401k's.. or cash value life insurance
2) CREDIT CARDS- pay them off and shred them.. You pay more than the value of item.. Its not worth the added charges., if you can save a few days and then buy it.. in the long run,, its alot cheaper..
3) Look and ask for discounts at stores, if you don't ask you don't know, military, student or even senior citizens.. if that applies. Saving money all the time is a great deal..
4) wait for sales or discount coupons and of course use them.. and once again ask for discounts when you go shopping. whats the worse they can say., no..
5) Consolidate shopping trips to one day.. gas is expensive,, the more you can do one day is better for your time management and the gas bill.. remember gas is hovering $ 4.00 - $ 5.00 a gallon.. Unless you have a hybrid , gas miser , its really expensive to drive around..
6) Insure yourself life and health, I know I don't have the money, but think about this, if you get hurt , or disabled or unable to work.. Where are you going to get money ? savings, emergency funds, ?/IRA accounts.. if you draw from them before 59- 1/2 you pay a hefty penalty.. and besides thats you retirement nest egg.. Why Insurance,, its called protection , its called peace of mind.. if for example you get hurt or disabled, the health insurance will pay out your expenses, forget about the premiums you pay out.. if you get hurt , it pays out in the end.. Just a thought.. My take, protection for my life and health is not only good sense , but it protects my family from deciding to find assets to pay for hospital costs or lost income. Life is so fragile at times we are all a fall or injury away from no income , so why not buy life and health insurance, its your best bet against un forseen expenses and placing a burden on your loved ones.. My goal in life is to raise kids that are productive citizens and making money for their future and kids,, Not worry about mom and dad and their failure to protect themselves.. I don't want to be any ones burden.. So with that.. I hope my tips will get you on the right track.

WEDNESDAY WISDOMS APRIL 2, 2014..INSPIRED BY SOMEONE I KNOW..
Wednesday Wisdom's, April 2, 2014. Inspired by someone I know.
Well its another great day to be alive, If anything , be thankful, really, i have been around the world and I have seen the poor , the injured the sickly, and it makes you appreciate what you have. I think alot of us forget how blessed and how fortunate we are. Because there are millions of people that are just looking for something to eat. But back to my blog. My take today is humility, its a word I have heard and been tossed around to me many times. But i didn't realize how humbled someone can get when you meet and talk with someone that has the skills or the knowledge to shut you down. I mean, I love to talk, but this person displayed to me , power , grace , wisdom and humility. despite all of their success and knowledge and titles, they remain grounded. Why? because human nature tells you that , if you show humbleness and no ego motivated motives, people will gravitate to you they will talk to you and if your in business do business with you. Its something I saw while stationed in Japan,, Customer service is job one, and get this you don't need to tip them.. in fact its frowned upon and not customary. In japan, making the customer feel like a million dollars is why I enjoyed every minute I was there. While in the states, you have to tip or its even demanded and you still don't get great service. I mean , if you love your job,, really, you will do your best and go that extra mile. The key. is that you love your job, and when you love it,, it doesn't feel like work.. its like play time. Its like when I'm working out. its fun, because I enjoy it. and I always strived to do that with any job I had in the military or civilian life. I always want to enjoy what I do. Its the way I like to roll. If anyone knows me , they realize early , I like to talk , I like to laugh and I like to see everyone smiling and happy. even when I don't feel it.. even when I'm sick or tired. Its a calling at times,, I know when I go to parties OR what I 'm expected to perform and be happy and even though I don't feel it..Guess what? Yup, the showman , gives you a show.. But get this ..I do it because I'm a attention - lover and I love to perform. Its not that I feel I'm obligated , though at times I think that. but bottom line.. I like to meet and greet people and share my talents , skills and and knowledge. Be it logistics, security, martial arts or financial planning. If you want to hear or see , I'm willing to show , teach and advise, its my nature, I'm a people person and I love when I can show people a different light or path and I enjoy learning from others. Like my friend. They were very inspirational in the way they handle themselves and have pride and grace in the way they do things. Its a hard and tough quality to find these days and that's why they are successful. They don't need to show off or be an attention seeker, they know when to present themselves and when to prove themselves. So , in essence last weekend , I was humbled , but I also learned that , humility and learning to be down to earth and not so over the top, will garner you alot more accolades. I mean. I will never be a quiet guy. But at least I realize I don't need to a human cartoon. Its called balance of character and I know from this day on, or from that day on.. I will take another look at how I present myself, so I can be more approachable and humbled by others. I mean, I know so many educated and successful people and they all have given me insights about life.. Its one thing to to hear it, but its another thing to really listen and hear what the people are saying. Lessons learned , slow down and be sensitive to peoples thoughts and don't get so caught up with your own things, because everyone is important in life and doing things that are relevant , for everyone in life, we need to understand that and respect one another choices. Good or bad, we are all in this game of life together and sooner or later we will need one another. My lesson for today is this.. Be humble and respectful to people because , the one that seems like they have nothing could be the person who has everything , money , success, wisdom, and a great heart. Don't judge a book by its cover, instead , be more real and get to know and like people for what they are ab not what they wear or drive.. true beauty comes from inner beauty and personality and if genuine , to me anyways , its more beautiful than a sexy body or beautiful hair.. True beauty is how you treat others and how you make them feel. It was humbling experience , but I learned ad like anyone in life.. we are all learning new things an ways of thinking. A wise person understands that and spreads that philosophy with people they meet or greet !! Until my next blog.. Have a great day , week and life!!
