 There is no doubt in my life , I have never or probably never ever meet anyone like you. I have to admit you are something else. I don't think their is enough words to describe you.. Funny, wise, educated, entertaining , scary , weird , geeky , nerdy. cool, hip ,, reflective , sensitive, long winded out spoken.. etc... But one thing you are for sure.. Is a very good person. I know you like to fake people out, even fool them.. You are the ultimate actor.. But I also think that's why people are afraid of you.. They cant figure you out.. I mean in some of your blogs you come off very sweet and loving and sensitive and others you are mean , cruel and scary!! i mean i heard of people having personality , but in your case its perplexing and exhausting.. Now I can see why you have lost many close friends.. they need a break.. Your too much for anyone.. including the ones close to you.. I have become very close to you , but I must admit I'm  also hesitant to go on with this? I mean , I want to be there for you,.But I cant . I mean I have my own needs to attend to.. You have been very encouraging and honest with me. Maybe too much.. But I not sure ,, I can fully understand what you want out of life.. I mean you are A loving father and husband.. But your tales with beauty are juvenile and reckless. I'm a bit fearful what your trying to do.. I know that your military life was very stressful and you had many issue that troubled you.. But I see there is something troubling you that is affecting your mood and ideas.. I know the passing of your mother many years ago was devastating and losing close friends and family since then haven't helped you cope.. But you have with comedy.. and making people laugh.. But what about you.. I think you really don't let others know the true you.. I know the true you. But i think others see you as arrogant , self centered , reckless bully.. But the truth is your a very sweet and misunderstood man with great talents in comedy and physical abilities.. I mean you can dance with the youth...and you can relate to them at their level.. But most of all you can be the most real person ever. You tell it like it is and how it should be.. A dreamer . oh yes.. an idealist.. sure.. A realist at times ,. But most of all you are a special person that people that really get to know you . love you and respect you and appreciate your gifts and talents.. There is no doubt the charisma and magic you provide to peoples lives, whether you realize that or not.. I feel blessed and honored that after living such a full and wonderful life ,, that I found a true spiritual and loving friend that looks to me , not only as a person , but a mentor , and a woman.. Not a sex object or play thing.. Its refreshing and very strange to see such a person exists in real life.. Most guys I know are interested in one thing or two things.. if you know what I mean.. But with you ..its really refreshing to see a man that looks to women with respect and honor... I'm guessing your dearly departed mama gave you those gifts and that's why people love you so much.. But I also realize you have that other side,, That ego side that Mean streak side.. That you had to use in the Military and it got you through all those tough and stressful times.. But now.. Its a new era , a new beginning a new life that I'm glad I'm helping you achieve those goals.. Someone told me one day I was going to meet someone like me.. and I always thought Never..... But after all these years its true.. I found someone that is wonderful , charming and has a great spirit like me.. I know the pains and troubles you have endured lately or in the past has made you stronger and more spiritual. I have seen a difference in you in the short time we have known each other , but its a good one and I see a bright and wonderful future if you stay focused and dedicated to what you want out of life. I know the hardships of the past are never going to go away., But the prospect of a new career and life is there.. for you..Just believe in yourself and be that person we all know is there!! Dear Mel.. Thanks for being a great friend and thanks for sharing all of your talents.. singing , dancing, writing,. acting. story telling etc.. You indeed have skills and I want you to continue sharing those to your true friends.. The football friends, the boxing , the acting , the dancing , the readers and writers you inspire with your tales.. Be yourself and be true to those who are true to you!! Dear Mel.. Be that friend to all of us.. We enjoy your stories. your mishaps , misfortunes.. Its you and its what the Man above intended for you..  REST IN PEACE BRO.. He was or still a a very special shipmate from my Princeton days.. My favorite ship .. Why ? Because I was so honored and humbled by the many shipmates and life long friends I developed over those hard years.. The Wog days.. the ceremonies.. the happy ones , the sad ones.. the working parties.. the deaths on board.. and of course the great times we all shared.. Chaz was cool guy.. Sometimes misunderstood , but funny and very engaging.. We all gained insight on so many things in life just by knowing him... I know the times we joked and played around the ship were special.. For those that know the Navy life .. especially on deployment.. Its a stressful and lonely time.. It doesn't matter its your first or last deployment.. It sucks.. Its lonely.. its boring.. its insane.. its a life that many of you would not or could not tolerate.. It does something to you.. Thank goodness I was able to finish 20 years... any more years I'm not sure I could do.. But guys like Chaz ,, who was special and funny person.. that knew how to make you laugh , smile and be happy. You don't meet too many people like him and to know that he is gone.. I must admit its the worlds loss.. We don't have enough free spirited and loving people in the world.. Especially in the Navy.. We have are brought up or trained to be Killers, heartless , protectors.. which is understandable.. But to find special people that found time to share the joy he had in his heart was one of  a kind.. I wish him well and his family surely misses him.. For my many ship mates. Jesse, Jason, Jimmy,.Bede, Pat, and many others.. We had a special time and place on the Princeton.. I will never forget those great times..I mean I was the " Mailman".. The many karaoke comedy nights we all shared were and always special times in my heart and mind.. and I will never forget those special people and times we all shared... Take care my Princeton ship mates.. and may the years treat you well.. and One day we all will rejoice and share the happy times we all enjoyed.. May all your dreams come true because Mine have happened .. and I'm ready to take on new journeys and be the man My dearly departed mama wanted me to become.. I miss you mama and I miss all my shipmates and friends that I have lost in my lifetime.. Peace to all and be happy!!

Black Beauty causes Road Rage? Inspired by Sara and Len..
 First off.. Why a Bird wants to settle in a exhaust in a muscle car makes no sense.. Then when it rained today.. I said././ Give beauty a Break.. But typical so cal fashion.. the sun comes out.. and the streets get dried up and I'm tempted to take beauty out.. I mean how an I resit those beautiful eyes and the nostrils coming form that sleek and shiny black body frame.. 
 So , I pick up my boys.. but before doing so I run to Walmart for stuff, and low and behold i have young kids ,,, burning rubber or trying to,, They want to see beauty in action.. I get cars roll up beside me slowly.. or fast to take looks.. at beauty.. But that's ok.. but when I get to my sons school , then the Mayhem begins.. First a kid in a big truck tailgates me and nearly side swipes beauty.. close call. But i'm ok.. then while leaving the crowded parking lot.. another young buck comes tail gates me.. and tries to force me to go fast.. I stand fast..  but MY anger is raging.. I mean I have another car next to me.. just sits at the light staring at my car.. People are honking.. I'm thinking is everyone mental today.. So.. I'm now at a four way stop.. and this old lady.. proceeds to go straight . and I proceed to make a left turn.. But this old lady now.. want to make a left turn nearly smashing beauty on the side front fender.. So Yes.. I'm irate. I yelled " Make your mind bitch.. and use your signal lights.. I stare her down. and burn rubber.. leaving the area with clouds of smoke.. and with my luck.. moments later 2 local cops roll by.. and they have their radars on me.. But I'm under control.. I mean i have my state of the art radar detector.. But the blood is boiling and yes.. Road Rage.. maybe. its just it seems having a muscle car.. especially mine creates so much attention or havoc.. Because of its uniqueness and its hypnotizing red stripes or hash marks.. I always thought this car would create attention.. But nothing Like i have since I've owned this car for nearly a year... Its seems every freaking day I have astories or incidents , whether i look for it or not.. But I must admit it makes for great blog material but it sure does raise the blood pressure.. Its no wonder my dear wife , doesn't like riding in this car.. Its really annoying.. People relax. Its just a retro looking car with a over the top attention grabbing driver.. Relax.. Temecula Valley.. But it didn't matter if I drove to San Diego or Los Angeles.. This car just draws attention faster than flies on shit.. But you know what.. As much as it does that.. I still Love my Challenger.. Its me.. its encompassing , its exciting.. and for all you .. Its a nice break from reality .. and reading about another persons pain... My pain is your gain in entertainment or reading pleasure.. So enjoy and keep encouraging me Sara and Lenny.. Because It seems you girls know how to push my buttons and make me write things.. Thanks for the ideas and stay tuned for more stories about Black beauty...  oh.. one more thing.. while picking up my baby boy.. a group of Mexican boys said to their mama. I love that car!! I smiled and it made my day.. But as soon as i pull up.. I have another rice burner racer car. tail gating me and running by me like they late for dinner or what.. My life with beauty.. till death do us apart or until I get so stressed and trade it on for a Mercedes or Audi Luxury car.. ?? Yea right?? hehe.. Drive carefully and if you see beauty on the road.Just smile and wave.. I'm sure I will give you a show.. hehe..

  What Men want from women?.. Simple , we want women to let us be men.. Men like to drive fast cars , we love sports and we like to talk shit or smack everyone wants in awhile.. We want women to look good, feel good and of course feed our egos.. Men are so easy to please.. Feed us compliments and we eat it up.. We are victims to our own ego.. Men like to be Kings of the Jungle we enjoy the hunter and protector mode.. Ask for protection and most men have a natural tendency to do that.. Its inbred from the get go.. Men like to be the hero , the saviour so to speak.. If you want to do well with today's men.. Feed their egos.. Look good and let men be men... I know you want to vent and such.. BUT NOT ALL THE TIME.. Because if you do that too much.. Men will wander,. men will leave.. ,, cheat.. one night stand.. yes.. Its not all sexual with men.. sometimes its all about growing old of your act or tired of Hearing you vent or nag.... Use or venting wisely... Men get tired.. Just like shopping men cant only take so much.. Besides.. Who likes a negative Nancy or a Debbie downer..  Those girls turn off the educated , and up and going male.. Most males today are ambitious and want to succeed in life.. They don't need a women that is insecure and is always looking for attention... Its different if you draw attention by the way you dress and carry yourself,.. Its another to make a spectacle of yourself.. Whethers its face book, postings or racy pictures.. Just a reminder.. Employers don't use face book to hire someone ,, its used more to not hire you or eliminate you.. So be careful what you post , especially when it deals with controversial issues or pictures.. I'm sure employers understand alot of the stuff is said in tongue and cheek.. But if your always seeking attention with wild remarks.. and racy ghetto type clothes.. They will wonder about your image.. and We all know what today's world is all about .. Yes. Image.. Is that person going to present themselves in a decent and respectable way.. Just more thoughts../
 Now back to what men are looking for or want in a woman.. Men want a women that is secure and knows what they want and also gives support and encourages them to do well in life and career. Men don't like being pressured or nagged about things they forget to do.. Tell them once and if they forget tell them again.. But bringing up stuff that cant be changed.. Well your looking for a argument.. Most men try to avoid such dealings..But Men are simple creatures.. Make a list.. and give it to them and be specific.. because men.. if told to buy things.. they don't remember what stuff you use,, even though they see it every day.. Men need specific directions.. and if they screw it up .. Then that dumb ass needs to be corrected.. Other wise.. Let men be men and accept the fact Men are child's at heart and often times... Make no sense what we say or do.. Men are alpha males that at times feel like we need to kick ass or say mean stuff to validate they are a man... Men are like that.. We wired different than women.... Its just a good thought to ponder.. WE MEN ARE WIRED DIFFERENT THAN YOU WOMEN.. We find pleasure in strange things like Cars,. sports or Sexy women .. Its a guy thing.. BUT IT DOESNT MEAN we are Pigs.. Its just a guy thing... But one thing is for sure.. When a Man wanders or loses interest.. its not because of what you said,, but because of the things you didn't or neglected to say.. Men are ego maniacs.. Feed us the ego and you will have a Happy puppy love you and be devoted to you.. Mistreat him and watch that dirty dog roam the streets.. What do men want from todays women.. We want to be the Protector , the hunter, the King of the Jungle.. but in order to do that you must feed our egos as well as our bellies if you want Men to be the Man of your dreams.. Simple enough , but in this hustle and bustle ,. Rat race of a life we live.. We often neglect each other .. and in the end. Its dooms everything that is great in life.. Take time each day to protect the love of your life or best friend.. Things just don't happen.. You must Make it happen!!

 What women want from men? I know the usual answers.. Great looks, great body, Money , Big house , big cars.. etc.. But really.. Most women want men that are honest , not only with them , but with themselves... A man who know who he is and what he is capable of is the greatest turn on or friendship tool you will ever have. Theres nothing worse than watching a boy or man.. trying to be something he is not.. If your not a bad ass , stop trying to act like one.. if you are nerd but trying to be hip.. somethings just don't match.. be who you are and most of all .. Just be there for your lover or friend.. What do I mean ? Well alot of the time , most of the time. Women just want to vent or let out their feelings. Its what makes a women tick.. Its they way they are wired.. unlike alot of men.. Women like to get in touch with their female and sensitive sweet sides.. Hey .. its why men love women.. The pink , lavender colors , the freely girly stuff is what makes a women a women.. I  know i have some high school classmates that can probably kick half of the guys asses in high school or even now.. But that's the exception to the rule.. Women in general are sweet , caring , motherly creatures that care about humanity and being kind. The acts of violence or hurting and breaking things ,, Makes no sense to them.. Unlike men.. breaking things or tearing things up like off roading or car burn outs.. making a spectacle of ourselves,... to alot of women.. Makes no sense.. or as my wifey say all the time.. " Save that stupid shit for your stupid alpha male muscle car goons...!!' haha..
 Well anyways... like i said women just want someone to hear them out ,, no matter it takes forever.. Just be there.. If you don't like listening to that stuff ..well guys.. your not going to have alot of female friends.. and i know the old stereotype.. macho image.. I cant be friends with a women.. I need to seek and conquer.. Well those days are gone.. This is today's woman, and today's woman are smarter , wiser and and more independent .. They are SUPER WOMEN.. but like everyone in life , we have our break downs.. and they need to vent, and alot of times women like to vent to me.. Venting to other women is too close to home.. I mean women know how women think and they feel if they open up to those close to them they will feel less secure .. Well some do.. That's why women want male friends.. The disconnect happens when men.. yes.. men think all the openness and sharing secrets is a invite to jump a woman bones so to speak.. Wrong.. if you want to lose a great friend.. Than betray their trust and we all know ...guys. a woman SCORNED  or betrayed is a woman you don't want to mess with,, 
 Example.. when men fight each other ,, we shake hands and become best of friends,, When women fight they want to tear your eyes out.. rip you hair out.. I mean vicious.. Cat fights to this day are the most vicious and heart felt fights you can see.. Even back on the day.. watching girls fight is breathtaking and passionate.. So .. back to my point..... When it comes to women.. Just listen and be there.. you don't have to solve things or offer assistance.. Based on personal experience. Just lending a open year and offering support for their wants and needs is enough.. and don't betray or take their sweetness or openness as a invite for sexual advances... I have seen alot of guys mis read signals.. Mostly the alpha male with big egos and severely arrogant and proud.. They think they are gods gift to women and what wouldn't women want to play with them.. Well guys.. its new time and anew age for the modern women.. Get with the program.. If you do you will enjoy female companionship and friends and if love interest do develop.. Let them lead the way.. and anyways.. Making friends and getting to know one another is a better tool than any web site or bar where alot of those profiles or come ons .. are just that fake , phony tools to attract attention for one night stands or what ? Just food for thought when you want to know what women want from men.. I hope this helps you and remember.. Having a friend from the opposite sex can be one of the most complete and natural events in your life.. Black beauty strikes again.. Inspired by Marty..

BLACK BEAUTY STRIKES AGAIN.. INSPIRED BY MARTY.
 What a day driving around Black Beauty.. It was so much fun.. Cruising the Temecula Valley.. and for that camaro that was ahead of me. and I ran up on him with headlights.. Probably scared him.. But he was speeding.. Like i wasn't... If anything I'm the unofficial enforcer.. Most of the time when I'm on the road.. Because of my round lights and the amber color round lights.. and of course the Jet black color .. The car looks and feels like a Police car.. I mean I have the scanners and the radar detector in full view.. and my Sheriffs contributor member sticker on the left rear window and the USA flag on the other side.. Its look official.. Even the Cops give me props.. I had several wave to me.. or flash their lights when I pass by.. NOW.. back to my story.. 
 I was picking Marty and like a rock star.. I had my lights on , my police scanners and such.. and suddenly I saw this young Mexican boy on his bike,. with his dad behind him.. Crashed into a wall next to my car.... why> Well the attraction of beauty caught his eye so much he forgot about the wall.. I felt bad.. for him. Because he was hurt pretty bad.. But the dad yelled at him to get up.. and of course Marty was embarrassed.. He said.. Its one thing to pick me up , its another to make a spectacle of yourself.. Yes. you have a BAD ASS CAR.. BUT DO YOU NEED TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION EVERY DAY!!I Dont want you to pick me up anymore.. Wow.. what a statement from my son.. !! It kinda hurts.. But oh well..He will get over it.. I mean Black Beauty likes to be look at and loves the attention and she is always ready to show off... Kind of like the driver. My car is me.. My is the alter ego.. That self rigorous.. , lets have some fun.. Protective personna. I know alot of you don't like or cant stand the muscle car mentality.. Loud mufflers , loud engines. loud stereos; loud looks.. Its the vibe of a muscle car.. and.. I encourage that vibe.. But it seems My family and friends are turned off with the alter ego.. Well.. if you are. Then.. Guess what. I don't give a shit.. I worked hard and served this great nation for many years. and suffered and missed out on so many things in my personal life that.. Now.. before I die.. I want to enjoy my wife. my family , my select friends and My dream car.. I know you cant like everyone.. and I'm sure I turn people off. But the ones that dig me and respect , I will provide tons of fun and advice.. and for those that despise me or are jealous.. Then just unfriend and go on your way.. Because Black Beauty is not for the faint of heart or image conscious , politically correct phonies.. Black beauty is American Muscle with power and looks that attracts attention and demands respect from all on the road.. The Challenger and the driver are one in the same. They both are fearless and ready for action.. Black beauty strikes again.. and again.. and again.. until death of me or the car or both..BUT thats many years from now... I hope!!!?! . Championship Weekend Story Lines , Jan 22, 2013..

49ers at Falcons- What a game? But then again What a shame.. 17 pt lead at home in front of a loud and proud crowd.. and Guess what.. The falcons choked,. they flinched they did not play 60 minutes of physical football. Like i have said many times over,. Its not how you start,but how you finish.. And boy the Niners finish.. Not only did they win the game , but ended Tony G's Career on a sad and sour note... I hate to say it falcon fans.. Losses like that takes a toll mentally and emotionally. I know I'm a Charger fan who lost similar championship games at home. Its hurts and the Like the Chargers , you dont recover well.. The Falcons.. I hate to say it.. Are the Chargers of the NFC.. close but No trip tot he big game.. The Falcs were the talk of the NFL, now they are the pretenders and close but no cigar team.. I wish you well Tony G.. Its not your fault.. BUT NEVERTHELESS IT STILL HURTS.. The Niners were down by 17 and thungs looked bleak , but the Kaepernick.. ( looks like Ryan Mathews) never gave up and brought his team to glory.. Those types of efforts of what legends are made of./// aka Joe Montana and Steve Young// Kaper is the real deal.. Sorry Alex Smith.. your good , but Kaper is great and has the chance to win SUPERBOWL FOR THE CITY OF FRISCO FOR THE SIXTH TIME.. It one thing the Niners do.. When they go to the Big Show they win.. 5-0 , The best ever and in the History of the NFL.. and tyo be honest I think they will do it.. 

RAVENS AT PATRIOTS- What a game .. Until The Ravens defense took over.. It exposed the Patriots as a run and gun , quick offense , with no huddle and quick snaps to jump to a lead and then their defense plays well. But under a smash mouth , in your face defense.. They fell apart faster than the Rivers trying to run out of the pocket.. The Ravens.. dominated and Joe Flacco and Ray Rice were abusive and never let off the gas.. That's the way you beat a finesses team.. PUNCH THEM .. KICK THEM AND MAKE THEM FIGHT YOUR FIGHT.. The problem is.. The Pats are not that kind of tram.. and to be honest good riddance,.. We seen their tired act of losing to ELI Manning and the Giants.. The Ravens may well lose that game , but I see them putting up a better fight than the quick snap offense of the Patriots.. As for The Ravens. What a story .. Ray Lewis has an opportunity to leave the game on top.. Very gew players do,,, John Elway... Jerome Bettis.. has story book endings.. What a way for him to go. If The Ravens come through.. I feel they want this for him and thay are playing out of their minds.. 

Final thoughts.. For a San Diego Connection.. Head Coach Harbaugh was  USD TORREROS HEAD COACH AND HAD A GREAT RECORD THERE.. ALEX SMITH PLAYED HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WITH REGGIE BUSH AT HELIX HIGH .. A EAST COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL.. And.. THE QUARTERBACK. Kaepernick.. is a Ryan Mathews look alike. except he runs faster and doesn't get hurt every week.. My heart says.. THE NINERS.. I used to live in the Bay Area... But MY mind is still thinking things out.. My predictions and why that team will win.. Comes later. after I look at injury reports, trends and quarterback play.. Its been a fun season with alot of story lines.. But the final one will be something else.. THE NINERS 6 TH SUPERBOWL.. WITH NO LOSSES OR THE FAREWELL SUPER BOWL WIN FOR THE GREAT RAY LEWIS.. Its a shame someone has to lose.. But that's why we love sports.. the STORY LINES.. AND THIS YEARS BOWL. has it !!!!!BIG TIME..

 SUNDAY :MY PICKS IN BOLD PRINT!!
49ERS AT FALCONS-The game of the week.. Two great offense and defenses, Two great QBS and two innovative coaches and play makers all over the rosters... But who will win.. I know the safe pick is falcons.. They are ranked Number 1 , they Have the best cone from behind qb in the league.. Yes more so than Tom Brady .. But.... That Niner defense is so great at stopping the run and making you one dimensional.. The falcons are great but not if they are not able to run.. They use the run to set up their play action.. With out it they are average at best. I see a spectacular game , but the Niners can do it all and they can make you adjust to them .,.They take what they want and make you play catch up.. As good as Rodgers was last season.. He was rendered useless against the aggressive and talented defense.. They simply got crushed and worn down.. I see the same fate for the falcons.. Nice story with Tony G,, and having one of his great seasons.,.And Ryan playing his best.. But the Niners can and will dictate this game. Because of their offensive and defensive lines.. and Kaper will scare the falcons into playing a safe prevent defense which will get them behind early and force the falcs to play catch up.. and they will make it close ,But the Niners advance and Have a chance to join the Steelers as the only teams to win 6 SUPER BOWLS..

RAVENS AT PATRIOTS- The ray ray story has been intriguing.. But.. The story ends.. Tom Brady and bunch are just that.. Too much to handle.. They have too many horses and play makers for the Ravens to cover and that hurry up , and no huddle offense will tire out the good but old and fading defense.. Tom Brady is having a MVP like year and will advance to the SUPERBOWL.. AND possibly get their fourth SUPER BOWL WIN.. and become the most dominating team in the past decade or so..   Ok.. I'm going way back.. YOU guys remember we were skinny ass kids with the feathered back hair and the angel flights and member only jackets.. And the bands were lake sides " Fantastic Voyage.. Man,. those were the beginning stages of Rap or hip hop.. The Gap Band, Funkaledics One nation Under the Groove, Heat Waves,.. Boogie Nights and Groove Line.. Boosty Collins, Slave, Dazz Band.. Ric James .. bitch.. haha./// Those were the days.. I know at the time we all thought we were cooling than shit.. BUT ANGEL FLIGHTS. HEHE.// Come on guys??.. I see those photos from those days.. WE were gay//? And didn't even know it. Or better yet didnt care?? WE were skinny ass dudes that look like girls.!! DUDES LOOK LIKE LADIES !! For reals.. Check out our photos..!!  We were prettier than lot of the girls back in the day.. Well Ekele AND JANIE  ARE magic!!.Both Hotties  haven't changed one bit.. In fact ...I think they are  crazier now than back in the day.. I know I am//!! But anyways.. The Music , the parties.. were awesome.. We don't see those anymore.. ? Why? People complain about the noise,, or maybe its a asian thing.. BUt whatever the case.. WE had some of the best garage parties back in the day.. I mean we would decorate the garage.. we would crank out out our Cassette tapes and do our funky old school dance moves.. I used to pop lock at every garage party.. I recall the ones at Alex's house or Mickeys house.. I had a a few , but Papa and my neighbors were not cool with that.. Plus I had a older brother who played in band and drove the neighbors and myself crazy.. 
with The Doors over and over again.. Man those were the days.. BUT I GUESS the funniest times is when alot of the guys were afraid to ask girls to dance. I never had that issue.. and Maybe that's why I changed girlfriends more than I changed my socks. hehe..
 One night at Mickeys house party , one of the girls.. asked me to dance.. her name was Sherry,, she was acute girl ,,, but problem I had a girlfriend.. I mean.. I asked her if it was ok, and dance I did.,. The problem is.. I dance with her the whole night.. Not cool.. well at the time I was having fun. But Loni , didnt think so.. She was pissed and of course her over protective brother thought it wants cool.. BUT.. IT wasn't like I was groping her.. But the fact I took one dance and made it into a all night dance party. Well... When the music starts I'm unstoppable.. even now.. When I go clubbing with wifey. even another girl. is dancing well ..,. and wifey is pooped out. I continue to dance.. Its funny wifey doesn't get mad.. She enjoys.. the performance. But she makes sure I'm coming home with her.. Its funny how some girls or guys think,.if you dance with them for a extended time.. Its mean theire is a connection.. 
 Well , that garage party was fun.. But MY inability to break away from cutie pie Sherry.. Hurt and now think back.. Was the beginning to the end of  MY SHORT RELATIONSHIP WITH LONI. not her real name.. But TO break up with someone with Dear John Letter on your Mayan Year book. Was a low blow.. No wonder I threw that shit away.. BUT WE WERE FOOLISH KIDS WITH FOOLISH DREAMS AND IDEAS.. But one thing is for sure. Those Garage parties were and Still the thing to do,, and When I have parties at my house I still break out the old jams and do my pop lock routines.. Even for a moment or two.. I'm reliving those hundred's of garage parties that Ekele. Janie, Sal, Martin, Mickey , Sue, Rose , Joyce, Alex, Eric,.Roger , George , Alvin ,Fred. Jerry , Jr.. Joe and the many other Mayans and Aztecs of yesteryear recall and have fond memories.. Who knows .. Maybe Next reunion.. Lets do a garage party throw back with some old school Jams.. I know I;m always game.. !?!?

Guns don't kill people , Dumb ass people do!! Inspired by Gun Owners.. 
 Guns in the hands of right minded people are tools of the trade.. I mean for hunting , for sport , for training , for self protection.. I'm a Gun owner and I secure my guns so well my family have no clue where they are at and Its always locked and unloaded.. I'm a protective father, husband, neighbor.. I would never , ever forgive myself.. If any of my guns were used in a shooting or what/ That's why I keep them out of harms way.. Including family.. As for all these regulations and rules that are coming down.. I understand their logic.. I mean do we really need a semi - automatic to shoot a deer? But I also understand the gun owners plea.. The freedom to bear arms.. Its a right that our fathers of the Constitution laid down hundred of years ago.. BUT.. I don't think they realized or imagined how advanced or crazy society would become.. They wrote what was in vogue at the time.. Is it now? Now that's the whole debate.. As gun owners. We are terrified that any restrictions of gun ownership is scary.. But then again.. WE need measures , we need to do something..? I Mean it has become chaotic.. MY take.. Punish those that abused the rights of gun ownership.. If you use a gun for any reason.. killing, injuring , Threats , intimidation or what.. Go to Jail.. !! Period.. Me.. I will not pull out my gun unless, I feel My family life is threatened,.//In my case I'm a trained Boxer, Martial Artist and street fighter.. So I would use other means.. Like my punching , kicking and grappling skills if assailant is unarmed.. and if I have to use weapon,, I'm trained with Sticks, knives and swords.. But I also know .. GUN.. YOU NEED TO FIGHT GUN WITH GUN..
 We need to punish the dumb ass people that have criminal minds and histories and mental issues , no exceptions..!! We can't afford to take chances.. I'm tired of watching news about senseless killings.. We need to address the dumb ass people that are spoiling it for respectable and law abiding gun owners.. I have no problem with criminals, and such being placed under siege. It's time we take a stand and punish those senseless killers and criminals.. and for the Responsible Gun owners.. Keep your guns secured and away from harm. In addition Teach proper gun handling, care and the laws of the use of guns under self defense conditions,.,. But the old saying" I rather be judged by six than buried by six.. in my humble opinion holds true... When it comes to my family. I have no reservations to Use the strongest force of protection.. A shot gun makes a distinctive sound when locked and loaded!! In short.. Society or law makers.. Lets make sure we punish those criminals and don't hinder the law abiding citizens..who own , and carry guns the lawful and proper way.. We carry guns not to kill people , we carry guns to protect us from those who want to kill !!

 The San Diego Super Chargers hired a New GM Telesco from Indy Colts and the offensive coordinator Coach McCoy- Ok. I heard all the compliants , we should of got a established Big name , proven winners.. We should got the Grudens.. The Cowhers. etc.. But guess what? The Chargers did the investigations and research and they knew what criteria they were looking for..To be honest.. I applaud them. They said " These people fit the direction we want to go,,. they said " I like what they have to offer and why bother interviewing others if we find what we want? I mean aren't we all like that? I know I was looking for that Muscle Car..and I test drove the Charger, the Mustangs, the Camaro's , Nissans,, but the Dodge finally did it.. I feel the Chargers are like me.. They like to feel the car or in this case feel the vibe.. It was great and they felt lets not waste any time.. I'm sure those guys could of waited and probably received bigger offers from other teams.. But I feel these 40 somethings guys felt,.,, I like what the chargers have.. ?
 I know clean house.. Rivers is done,, Mathews is a wasted pick.. The corners get burned more than morning toast.. But wait.. a minute,. If you got sacked a near nfl record 50 times.. Yea.Its hard to be in a rhythm if your getting your brains rattled.. As for Mathews.. same issue.. He's get hit before he can get started.. ? I know he's not LT.. but legends like him come around every generation.. and alot of us.. Including myself.. Put too much expectations on this young stud.. I feel he can still be a serviceable running back.. Not LT. but a functional piece of this puzzle.. Ronnie Brown is a third down and screen catching back.. and we have alot of slot wide outs like Royal , Meachem , and Vincent Brown..Gates is still a beast ,. and Alexander is becoming a great target for Rivers and of course Floyd is a good number 2 wide out.. The problem is the lines.. Both offensively and defensively.. Draft , trade for some beasts. Alabama style.. I'm good if we spend the whole draft day drafting corn fed linemen.. We need some big uglies to protect rivers.. and with that.. This team that finished 7-9 , could reverse that and be 9-7 or better .. I feel the Chargers are making the right moves.. But fans. please be patient.. The damage the AJ SMITH AND NERVOUS NORV.. may take a a season or two to correct.. I mean we had 6 years of neglect .. So be patient!! I know we spend alot of money for tickets and Jerseys and such.. But you have to be realistic.. The Broncos are the cream of the crop in the AFC WEST.. and the raiders and Chiefs.. are gonna get better.. But the Chargers have some key players , but they are holes on both lines and depth.. But that's why we have drafts and trading periods.. I see a big change in attitude and motivation for the Bolts.. I'm looking forward to the April Draft and the trades this team will make before the season starts... I know.. These guys are No names and kind of young.. But sometimes , those under dogs.. the Challengers!! Will surprise you all.. I 'm disappointed how these last 3 years went.. But I see a different era for Charger Football. NFL stands for NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. You guys recall the Colts were losers , then the following they are play off contenders with a rookie QB.. SO why not ? The Chargers could do the same thing.. We all know how wild the AFC WORST opps, I mean west can be.. Fix the lines.. Get the injury bug gone , and establish a strong conditioning program and attitude,. This team could be the sleeper team next year.. But its ok.. some fans and media are already writing off the Chargers,,, It will make it so much sweeter when our team ,, turns it around and become the San Diego Super Chargers,, I know.. all the jokes.. Chokers.. Cheaters,, dischargers.. etc.. But as fans ,., We have to have hope.. Because before you know it.. Its charger fest at the Q , and I'm hoping to see you there showing Bolt Pride.. The San Diego Chargers are heading in the right direction.. JUST be patient and Give it time!!

 Why Me? Why Not? I have the best of luck.. It doesn't matter what.. Whether its getting a long line at the grocery store when I'm in a hurry or.. Getting a phone a day before the hottest one comes out or.. Paying off a car and breaks the next day.. ? Its always me.. My truck never had issues and the moment I get the Pink Slips.. MY windshield cracks open.. go figure.. !?! Then I get recall for the family van.. and the day I suppose to take it to dealer.. Windshield shatters//? Why not.. ? Then after that. I get a flat tire on both sides of the car or truck.. Why? Why? Why? Well anyways.. Today ,, I pick up my wife's phone.. and get set to take van to dealer... But wait.. ? The coil springs break and at first.. I thought it fell on top of my Challenger. because I did park it close,. But luckily it was outside and boom. The coil breaks. and the wires fall to the ground.. Of course I try to raise it up ,, and Guess what,, ? Those doors are really Heavy.. oh well.. so another thing breaks... whoow is me? Why Me? Why Not? I mean .. My life has always been a drama filled , comedy filled experience.. But isn't this a bit too much??For someone that is retiring.. It seems ,I gonna my fair share of drama or issues.. But like my good friend and long sister Lenny said to me.. God loves the way I respond to all the issues,., I think so? I mean, who else goes into a sporting goods for a few minutes only to find his prized truck is broken into.. and a witness takes down the license plate of the crook,. Only to find the car they were driving was a stolen car? Go figure right? But one thing is for sure I'm taking it well, I have too, it happens so many times.. Like MY car gets stolen from my house ,and found later hundreds of miles away.. stripped of parts and all my Navy gear removed from the trunk. I was due to report the next day.. Go figure.. !!? But its how i roll.. Shit happens to me all the time!?1 But I always rebound.. I mean I have too, I don't give up or give in.. I love challenges.. I guess the Muscle car I purchased . Has me .. down pat.. " THE CHALLENGER.!!" that's me.. always the under dog.. always defending his turf, always on the prowl so to speak.. I'm not complaining about my life and I'm sure all of you get kicks out all the adventures I get into.. Navy, fights in civilian life.. Parties,, dance routines.,. Black beauty stories.. blogs.. Its all out there , but for reals.. MY life is a trip and I'm living it every day.. and I know deep down inside.. I really don't want it any other way,, But full of fun,.adventure and challenges.. QUICK THOUGHTS..??
 SEAHAWKS AT FALCONS- Like I predicted a close call and Give credit to Matt Ryan and Tiny G,,, they steeped out when they had too. As for the young upstarts. The Seahawks are for real. They are the future of the NFC.. and I expect them in the playoff hunt for years to come. 

RAVENS AT BRONCOS-I picked the broncos because of the legendary player Manning, but it was Manning who struggled , and need great special teams play to get scores.. The Ravens are playing way over their head offensively and defensively doing the same. making Manning make critical mistakes through out the game was key.. The Ray ray show continues for another week.. Lewis and Rice are playing well and need to for them to make it all the way.. Joe Flacco finally stepped up and made the play of the game wit his last second bomb into perfect defensive coverage.. But great throw and wide out adjustment ,, gave them the TD needed to take it to Overtime..Then.. Manning making the mistake, Not Flacco was the story line.. Great win for the ravens and that great defense is going to have a another test against the AFC highest scoring and most dangerous offense in years.. 

TEXANS AT PATRIOTS- I thought the Patriots would win easily and in a way they did.. Its just too much Brady Bunch and great coaching.. The Texans had trouble with the no huddle , quick snap and,.. series of scripted plays ,, and of course the best TE DUO in the NFL.. Give time for Brady to view the field is Money in the bank.. Brady and THE PATRIOTS LOOK AND FEEL LIKE THEY ARE BEST TEAM IN THE NFL.. but we have seen what a dominating offensive line can do to the Patriots in the Big Game.. The Patriots idea of a great defense is running up the score and hope you don't have the energy or play makers to keep up.. and it has been working for now.. We will see next week!!??

PACKERS AT NINERS- What happened to the Packers , they played well in the first half and fell apart faster than the Chargers did all of last year. It was heart breaking and not typical Packer football. The Long runs by Kapernick was ridiculous and amazing to watch,.. But that Niner defense when they have the lead and have that ground and pound running game going.. They know how to kill the clock and win the game , which they did. Awesome display by their young gun running quarterback and a poor display by an experienced SUPER BOWL WINNING FRANCHISE.. But that's why we plan the games.. It doesn't matter what you did for me then? Its what have you done for me lately?

Its a passing League and its easy to pick the Home teams with the better QBS and offenses... But I will make my final analysis later in the week.. Matchups.. , injury reports, trends and Quarteback play will determine who I select.. BUT food for though ? Falcons and Patriots would make a heck of a aerial show.. while the Ravens and Niners would be a hel of a slug fest!! Most likely we will get a combo of both.. ?

DMV TEST STRESS-Insipred by my son...

DMV STRESS TEST.INSPIRED BY MY SON.

 Last Friday Jan 11.2012 , I was scheduled to take my first driving test. Its bad enough it was postponed a day because papa did some off roading , which cracked the glass in half.. Thanks Papa! Well anyways it gives me a extra day to study up and spend another day with papa.. Papa is non stop, he talks about everything but driving,, I mean He's a great papa. but when it comes to driving.. He's scary.. I mean In the truck he's a different mind set.. In the Muscle car.. I can see that young dum and full of fun guy when he was my age.. I mean.. He takes corners and speed shots at unexpected turns.. Yeah.. I know he loves speed but taking sharp angles in a large car is... well.. scary.. 
 But back to my day with dad.. I'm busy trying to remember what the riving instructor is teaching me and papa is rambling about.. Hey see that car ? Or look at that girl.? I mean.. Sometimes I wonder how he did 20+ years in the Navy with that kind of mentality.. But come to think about it. I think he had to have that kind of personna to deal with the Long deployments , the many years at sea and away from family and life.. I know the feeling I did a Dependents cruise and that was the longest time of my life and basically made me decide.. No way Navy life.. But that's another story.. As for the day with dad.. I drive and actually do quite well , despite my dad's distractions and rants about foolish drivers.. He hates slow ass drivers or ones that cut him or me off.. But I guess that comes with the territory. I'm still too young to know about rude drivers .. yet? right? But finally the day ends and he is still drilling about how tomorrow is the big day.. Yes. stressing me out?? 
 Well its DMV test time.. Of course papa is loud and attentive grabbing, actually gets upset with DMV personnel.. Thanks dad... all i need now. is a angry tester.. Well I get the mean old lady.. who is short and complains about how high my lifted truck is.. Ok.. I'm gonna fail.. But wait.. Dad is outside shouting instructions and yes.. making a scene.. 
 I'm off and the tester is already warning me about my driving.. Oh. lord. I'm gonna fail.. and I have to deal with loud mouth papa.. I said to myself.. I need to focus and think about the moment , and of course I don't want to deal with loud and angry dad.. So . I focus and before you know it.. I pass with flying colors.. My papa at the end of the test is smiling , because tester said I did well I score 96 % ot of 100% possible.. My pops was ecstatic.. and inside we go.. and Off we go home.. with me driving.. My papa is still distracting me with his talks about nothing.. I crank up the stereo.. Thank God, for a loud ass stereo.. of course Papa puts on face book and brags to all his friends and such.. BUT HEY.. why NOT? He HAS A COOL SON WITH A BAD ASS TRUCK.. WHY NOT? Yes , it was stressful and yes , I think I passed more because I feared the wrath of mama and papa.. But I know I need stress or pressure to get me focused. But one thing is for sure.. MY dad.. does not play .. If he feels pissed , he will let the DMV folks know and anyone else.. Not saying it hurt me. But it did put more stress on me than if I had a quiet low key papa.. But since I don't.. I have to adjust and for you kids out there.. YOU NEED TO ADJUST TO YOUR PARENTS .. ATTITUDES. (they pay the bills , education and etc.. if you dont like it.. then leave home!!) ( They say that all the time!!) I thought wit papa retiring he would be more laid back..Wrong.. I see him more vocal. more out of control.. More aggressive than ever.. But hey.. I cant complain. I have my drivers license. a beautiful home and a Tricked out Customized Truck.. and parents that don't play.. !! DMV TEST STRESS.. for reals... haha...

THE SOURCE LAST WEEK 2-2 , NEXT ROUND ??

SAT :
RAVENS AT BRONCOS- The Ravens have the best defense in the playoffs with the exception of the Niners.. But the issue is Joe Flacco, he needs to step up and become a playoff winning QB. Managing a game is one thing , winning a championship is another. The Ravens have won A SUPER BOWL with a average QB.. But that was a different ERA and defense.. The Broncos are a balanced team with a future Hall of Famer.. If Peyton plays well so do the broncos. I feel the ravens are going to have issues with the altitude and the no huddle offense. If the Ravens are going to win, they need a slow pace with a ground and pound running game. I don't see that happening.. As much as I would like to see Ray Ray  off in the sunset with a SUPER BOWL RUN.. I just don't see it.. Joe Flacco has not shown that extra something to win in the playoffs and against a Hot and Legend at quarterback.. I like the Broncos winning quite easily at home.. 
PACKERS AT NINERS- This could be the most intriguing match up of the weekend. You have the Packers perhaps the NFC 's best offense against the Niners the best defense. The Niners have a New QB , who has never been in this situation.. And it could be their downfall.. Theres nothing like pressure and Kaper has it in volumes.. His team and Coach are giving him a chance to make a name for himself.. This a going to be a tough game. But I feel the offensive balance of the niners  and their
suffocating defense will be too much for the Packers.. I see Aaron Rodgers doing quite well , but the overall balance and play makers favor the Niners. Turnovers could be the key.. But I see a well  thought out game plan and defensive effort by the Niners that will finally determine this game.. 
SUNDAY :
SEAHAWKS AT FALCONS - The Seahawks and Russel Wilson have been the surprise team of the NFL.. NO pressure because they are so under rated and overlooked.. They could very well upset the falcons.. The Falcons have tremendous pressure, they have been the best team this year. Best record. Most consistent team They don't win big , but they win.. Matt Ryan needs to erase all those play off woes and get this team over the hump.. This wont be a easy game.. But I see the Great Tony G and the screen passes being the difference , plus the running game will re emerge for the Falcons..The Hawks want a slow pace , ground and pound game, if they have a chance to win.. A shootout affair goes to the Home team And who are better suited for that kind of game.. I see the Falcons winning a nail biter , determined by a late game winning TD drive or field goal..
TEXANS AT PATRIOTS- The Texans were embarrassed weeks ago.. and if they don't get JJ WATT more into the mix I can see another blow out.. The Texans need to score TDs in the Red zone. if not , I see the Mighty Patriots with Tom Brady playing as well as he ever has winning not only this game but possibly making another SUPER BOWL RUN.. AND WIN IT ALL. !! The key is Brady. if he has time to throw , than all the play makers he has , welker and the twin tower TIGHT ENDS will be too much. Matt Schuab needs protection, like Rivers, if forced out of the pocket he's horrible,, I don't see a blow out , but the Patriots win easily at home.. Setting up a show down at Denver between the games best QUARTERBACKS.. BRADY VS. MANNING.. !! 
I FINISHED 2-2 last week , But I feel I'm going 4-0, this week. Manning , Brady have easy wins.. and Kaper and Ryan step up.... and Rodgers is left out because Niner defense will force him to make mistakes.. Enjoy this weekend!! NFL IS KING!!

I dont what to grow old.! . inspired by people I know.

I don't want to grow old ! Inspired by people I know..
 Honestly, and truthfully I don't want to grow old. I know many of you feel the same way.. I mean , not be mean.. By it sucks to see old people with wrinkles, and walking canes, and poor hearing and eye sights and bad memory and breath and all those other old people smells. You know the smells the Ben gay, the annoying cremes and lotions they need to keep their skin lubricated and the their bodies going.. To be honest , Its depressing.. and to be honest ,, I don't that for my future.. But you know karma.. People that want to live forever don't.. and the ones that want to die young don't either... My case I have high blood pressure , high cholesterol, high temper, all not good for the heart , plus I don't sleep very well even in retirement leave I still wake up damn early.. It pisses me off,, I see or hear about people that can sleep a whole day.. I cant sleep a full 8 hours. sleep apnea machine or not..?!
 But back to my point, what scary to me.. about getting or growing old.. Is not being able to do the things I love. Like work out, dance, drive my muscle car.. etc.. If I'm not able to to do all or one of those things.. Whats the use of living? Right..? Sure you can be a mentor of the youth and advisor and such.. BUT REALLY.. TODAY'S , youth could care less about what a old timer has to to say.. The youth today , well alot of them feel.. the oldies are behind the times Not hip.. They don't know how it is to be a youth.. and they are right.. Every generation grows up differently.. technology or lack of is different .. In my time I recall 8 tracks, cassettes, and records.. anyone recall the 45's.. The radios in cars back in the day were primitive in today standards. AM/FM . CASSETTE / CD// Now you have satellite radio... IPods.. HDD in cars.. So yes.. if a different era in life and we all have a generation gap issue,..So why would I want to grow old in this uncaring, self centered world we live in... I rather live fast and die sooner before my faculties are gone.. I like to think its better to live a quality life than a long drawn out one with pain and suffering.. I know because of my years of excessive workouts.. broken bones, dislocated joints and muscle tears and bruising.. My pains at times is unbearable.. Thank god for Pains Meds.. and medical weed.. I know some at saying what a sadistic and horrible message to send about life.. But to be honest deep down inside alot of you,. You feel the same way.. That's why we work out, we use creams and lotions to make us feel and look younger,.. We know we are gonna eventually get old. But the longer we can delay it or slow it down,. The better,, But still.. Today's society ,,, discards people that are old and retired.. I feel it already.. when I say I'm retired I get all kinds aof reactions.. Like your too young. too..your old.. or you are nothing in life.. But its ok.. Because I have lived a exciting and at times troublesome life and I over came it all. But the last journey,,,, that I'm dreading is the act of growing old..  Its something I know will happen and I'm going to fight the tests of times.. That's why I'm taking care of myself more. Fish oils, pain meds, more sleep and rest.. Pampering my legs and feet and watching comedies and always laughing.. All these remedies are stalling the aging process for now.. If you have seen my pics.. I look and I feel younger than before I joined the navy.. Its amazing what stress can do to your face and hair.. At one time my hair was thinning out so bad and the white hairs were blooming.. Now.. after a few months of retirement leave. I feel refreshed, I feel reborn.. How long will this last? God only knows.. But I'm gonna ride it until its a done deal.. But back to my I don't wanna grow old. I really don't.. and I'm using every youth formula and age defying method I can find to help me sustain this so called fountain of youth I seemed to have found. As for my painful work outs and dance routines. I still able.. but I also do alot of recovery methods.. oh yes.. I don't drink heavily or at all. Even during parties.. and I don't smoke cigarettes or put anything bad in my body.. and if i do.. like sweets.. I work it out.. !! \
 My moral to this blog.. I don't wanna grow old and because of that thought I'm doing everything to stall the process and when the day comes.. When I'm not able to enjoy what life has to offer ,, Then by all means I'm ready to leave this earth.. But for now.. I'm having the time of my life.. Defying Father time.. Confusing Mother Nature.. and Fooling The Grim Reaper,.. Because I know I'm not gonna live forever.. But I'm gonna have the time of my life while I'm Here..

 I'm a strong believer that you are what you drive! Ok.. I know alot of us or most of us have those commuter - throw away - economy cars to take us from Point A TO POINT B.. no issue with that.!!. With gas prices so high and insurance and such.. I say.. No problem..?
 But the weekend warrior car , the pleasure car I like to call it.. I'm sorry Hybrids. Prius, or Smart Cars are not pleasure cars at all. They are golf carts with doors, they are small , uncomfortable and powerless and a poor excuse for a vehicle.. ?
 For us.. Car Crazy. Muscle Car, Hot Rodders.. Driving or even owning one is a shame in our game man card.. For us.. Car guys.. A car is an extension of oneself.. It's a feeling of power,, and it a addiction to speed and grace.. When a Car crazy gut starts up his ride. He wants to hear the rumble of the exhaust , the power of the engine and the feeling of fun.. That's how it was back in the days of the 60's and 70's and even the 80's, Cars were built not just for practical purposes , but a feeling , a power surge that enthralls us all at a very young age.. Let me tell you there's nothing like stepping on the pedal and feeling the exhilarating rush down the highways and freeways.. There's nothing like like heavy metal . but smooth power.. But if you never experienced it,, you don't know the feeling.. But that's ok. Muscle Cars or sports car are not for everyone.. That's why they build boring Camry's or Honda's for you .. practical and reasonable folks.. Thank goodness , because we need those types of cars .. But for the elites. the one's of kinds folks that want that speciality ride.. There is nothing like being a powerful machine.. I love the feeling every time I get into my retro looking Muscle , but Luxury feeling ride.. I feel transformed , almost a mystical feeling engulfs me when I take Beauty for a ride. Its doesn't matter how short or long of a ride I take.. Beauty always satisfies my needs and desires. The cruising along the scenic view of Ortega highway or the winding roads of Otay Lakes rd.. or the Nacsar 15 , or I-5 freeways.. I get a rush when I drive by.. Its a truly magical feeling , that words can't explain.. In life sometimes you have to feel the experience to really understand it,... 
 But for those that like the Low profile Mini - vans or boring looking Toyota;s or practical Honda;s./ good on you , but the ones that love the Power from Corvettes, Mustangs. or Mopars.. than the open road is your heaven, your therapy ,, your dreams coming true.. Its a feeling Car crazy guys have every time we crank up our rides.. and the same goes for the foreign cars.. I can only imagine how it is to drive a Luxury Porsche , Mercedes, BMW, or Audi.. feels because I bet those rides even take you on a different level than the American Muscle.. But for me.. Nothing beats or will ever beat those days gone by 60's and 70's Muscle Car era.. Those were the cars that became legends and fed into the culture that is becoming vogue again? The Muscle car Sports Car revival is on.. and while it lasts.. I'm going to enjoy the moments.. Because like life. everything comes to an end.. But True Classics last forever!! You are what you drive,, and for me.. Its Muscle car or No car.... The boring, economy , reasonable , practical cars are not me.. and because of that I am what I drive,... A loud , attentive grabbing , yet practical and comfortable ride that gives me the best of all worlds.. Practical , powerful , luxury and performance and above all that feeling of fun.. that cars back in the day were built for.. For those that drive the practical cars.. Give the New Dodge Challenger a test drive.. or the Dodge Dart.. they might surprise you and even convert you.. You only live once and I'm glad I test drove my car.. It has forever changed my life and how I feel about driving anywhere these days.. A simple ride to the market is a dreamy and awesome feeling.. I am what I drive and I'm very proud of it!!

  I have been in retiring mode now for a few months and the transition is going smoothly. But I realized early is that when you dress very well , suit and tie and dressy shoes you get an reaction.
Many times I get the thumbs up and what a cool dresser , but I also get the haters and you know they are talking smack about you. Why? Because image and perception is what makes the world go around.. Too many people think well dressed people are selfish, arrogant , money hunger show offs. The media and films has a big influence on that type of thinking , but I think people are just jealous and envious of the well to do. I feel it when I take my car in for service dressed to impress , its like those young service advisors , look at me. Well since retiring I grew out my hair and tinted it to make myself younger looking. I also have lost weight , gained muscle and act youthful.. So in their eyes they see a young guy with a expensive car and clothes.. He must be a drug dealer or gambler or a spoiled brat whose parent bought him that car... And to be honest even if thats the case , which is not..Why do people make judgments. Simple ,, Human Nature.. People just make snap judgments because it makes them feel in control. They don't  want to hear the truth... They want their own  determination of reality!! But its just amazing how different  people treat you simply by wearing a suit and tie and speaking properly. 
 Now.. when I put on the hoodies or ball caps and wear the hip hop clothes.. I too get another reaction. I get more snickers or sneers.. Why? They think I'm a gang banger or drug dealer or simply a criminal.. I get less respect and I get treated more like a kid.. Even though I'm a middle aged man.. Its amazing how what you wear  can dictate people reactions to you.. 
 Is there a middle ground ? Of course there is.. Don't wear too fancy of clothes or wear the over the top Jewelry if you want to  be taken as a more down to earth person.. But then again, I feel your personality dictates alot how people treat you.. If you smile and greet people , most people will return the favor.. But you look like a mean dude.. Chances are your not going to get too many people that want to deal with you per se.. It's just things I have observed and things I will deal with as I get back into the civilian sector. I plan to be more friendly and accessible , compared to my Military days.. Those days were so stressful and intense.. It was a fast paced and stressful way of living. But now, I'm trying to be more laid back and become the civilian that I was many years before I joined the Military.. Don't get me wrong, I still have the hard charging, and passion for whatever I do and I still don't mind the attention I get because of the way I look or talk. But I'm realizing that life in the civilian world is a much slower and sometimes excruciating experience.. What I mean is .. you have to learn to be patient and you have to expect the worse in people and issues. Unlike the military.. The Civilian world doesn't have the strict codes or honors to follow.. In the civilian world, Its a almost cut throat , its a go get what you can get world. Where if you snooze you lose,, and where you miss opportunities.. you may not get others very soon. YOU HAVE TO CAPITALIZE ON THINGS in real life.. You can't waste time.. and you have to dress to impress.. Whatever that means? You are what you wear folks.. and society makes judgments on whats important to you as soon as they see how you dress? If you dress conservatively , they feel this person wear clothes that doesn't attract attention and is prone to be a team player and a conformist. Now if you dress flashy and expensive.. That will indicate you care about money and use it for yourself and you are high maintenance and may not be the total team player. Attention seeker, Ego Maniac, Self centered , arrogant Person.. ? Am I right ? Now if you dress juvenile or ghetto girlish.. Then Employers will look at you as in mature, disruptive and not someone they want to hire. In life many times you have to do things that are not fun.. BY DRESSING APPROPRIATELY , you will determine your chances for success. I know I have seen the many reactions from people , based on how I dress and behave. When I meet people I like to shake their hands look in their eyes and get a sense of what they are. When People don't do that ,, its not saying they are bad people . But I see that as feeling they are insecure and don't have the confidence to meet and greet people. Its a staple in today's society.. You have to reach out and greet people.. and I don't mean just with face book postings.. The Posting of face book, should not be your persona., But instead only a percentage of your image.. Your true character is based on how you dress and how you treat others .. Respect is not taken it should be earned and I realized through my interactions with society , nothing earns more respect than dressing well and speaking well under all meetings with family or friends..

What are the Chargers waiting for? 
 Its seems to me The Chargers are wondering who is the best fit for this team? Lets face it.. The firing of Norv Turner has been 3 years too late.. The only reason he had success because he was living off the leadership and skill play makers of the past.. LT. , SPROLES, TURNER , JACKSON. etc.. But now this team is collection of unpromising talent and aging stars. Yes,. Gates is in the twilight of his career and Rivers may have a shorter shelf life because of his bad knees and lack of mobility. Plus this past few season he has taken a tremendous amount of punishment , no thanks to the worst and inconsistent offensive line.. 
 The Chargers need a Motivator, they need a head strong discipline mentor. We need a man with a great fitness Program and someone that will ensure the team comes into the season and games in shape and mentally prepared for the rigors of a long season.. Uncle Norv was a push over, and it showed the last 3 seasons,, where the Bolts beat the bad teams wit the occasional surprise win over a talented team.. But the last 3 seasons were a exercise in torture!! 
 Now.. make a move Bolts. before all the good assistants and coaches are taken.. and if you have to pay,. Pay it, or expect more fan dis interest and more season holder cancellations.. Another hire like Norv will doom the enthusiasm for the fans.. I don't mind if they hire a College coach or a up and coming NFL assistant.. But please no retreads like Lovie Smith , or Andy Reid type guys. WE HAVE SEEN THAT and done that.. 
 We need a coach that will take into account what we have on offense and use that to design a west coast type offense. I like the quick throws and no huddle.. That will make Rivers better and protect him from hard hits..Because ,, to be honest.. I don't see to many more seasons like the past three , if they don't find ways to protect Rivers.. he needs to have protection to do what he can do, and The running game,.. will improve if we select a Alabama like offensive line. But that will take a couple of drafts or free agent signings or trade for that to happen.. The Team is at a Cross roads and The Coach that comes in will have to take advantage of the aging stars on offense and maximize the up and rising defensive stars.. But first thing is first. We need a new conditioning program.. Its too common that players are getting hurt or injured on a regular basis.. Why?  
 I will tell you why. We had a soft coach that let the players do whatever they pleased and Guess what? You get the star running back coming into camp out of shape and You have gates always hurt along with the others.. In proper work outs and conditioning,, and no one monitoring this team.. We need a new culture and the Next Coach has to be the Bad Ass and get these guys back into the elite status that once upon time was there!! 
 My only demand from the Charger Brass, make sure you know what you want , what direction you want this team to go and select the Coach that can and has the ability to make it happen.. Like I said many times before the City ,the die hard fans deserve better than what you have delivered!! 
 What are you waiting for ? I hope its in the best interest of the team and the Fans..??

 My New years Pet peeves!.. First off.. People get off your freaking phones when you drive.. I'm sorry You cant be fully aware of things when you have a ear to your phone or even using blue tooth.. Maany of you clowns.. are so focused in talking.. You either drive too slow. or too fast.. or you make sharp turn when your not supposed to... Or your sitting at a stop sign with tinted windows and people are wondering if your going to move or not? I have blue tooth in my fancy car and to be honest I don't or rarely use it because I like to focus on the road.. Too many things happen and happen too quick, for many of us.. and You have a split second to respond.. Just me.. But I feel its your fault if something foes wrong and Heaven For bid if you hit or cause a accident because your talking about nothing anyways..
 Next peeve.. Left lane is the passing of fast lane.. peeps.. Don't cruise in that lane.. If you don't want to drive fast , go in granny lane or the slow lane. / truck lane.. Don't waste people's time by being on the wrong lane.. I see it too many times,and Guys like me will tail gate and roll by you ,, quickly to slow you that you need to switch lanes.. Slow ass drivers.. go to far right please!!
 The next one.. it seems like its all car related huh? Well ok.. If you turning onto a street or what and you see the lane is full and your gonna block traffic or turns.. Don't block the freaking lane.. Why? because you don't own the damn road peeps.. People have places to go, We don't need to see your sorry ass side view because you thought you could make the light.. But I see it all the time. and Guess what Every time I see it .. especially in front of me. I'm gonna flick you off and say you dum ass son of a bitch.. and I will look at you.. ,,, Why? Because people that do that need to be reminded don't be so self centered and inconsiderate !! 
 My last pet peeve is when at the market,, and the express lane is open.. Don't use it if you have 15 items ,, I know it says,, 15 items or less. But come on.. Its really for people  have 5 items or such.. I know because I did it once and believe me i was so embarrassed.. But like life you live and learn.. But when grown ass adults do that.. Then that's different.. Maybe that's why we have so many miserable people around, Because of all the inconsiderate and selfish people.. and It seems I see it more in the SOCAL area.. We are so inpatient and always in a Rush.. We are always multi-tasking and thinking about other things than whats going on at the moment.. Its just our culture.. But Does that mean we lose common sense too.. 
 Advice.. be considerate when driving.. and shopping and think for a moment what you are doing! But if you decide to be that inconsiderate peeps.. Then don't be surprised when some out going , loud and proud Socal guy yells and flicks you off because you probably deserve it.. yea.. so much for a New attitude or New years resolutions.. People are people and at times they do many things that don't make sense , like texting or talking on phones during heavy traffic, or driving slow in the fast lane.. or Mis using the express lane,, while others are waiting.. Well . just saying .. My pet peeves are not over the top.. But it does bother me every time I fire up My muscle car or truck.. People are so rude.. No wonder people from other parts of this Nation.. Hate the SO CAL ATTITUDE AND DEMEANOR.. WE may have the best weather in the World.. But are attitudes Suck.. !!

 Your are not alone.. My wife knows the pains and sufferings of being a Navy Wife.. The long deployments , the loneliness , the stress of raising a family with no father. We Navy guys don't really realize the pain and suffering we put our spouses through. I mean , sure we are stressed at sea life. But We leave the wives with the bills, the tensions of kids , the decision making.. Its a tough road for any wife.. But we navy guys,. No matter how we say we understand.. We don't. Just like we cant expect our wives and girl friends to understand our plight.. No matter how much detail we go into.. Unless you live it, you breathe it.. You really have no clue.. and any man that thinks he knows , You are misguided and delusional. I didn't know the extent of house work and taking car of kids until I retired and being on Leave.. Life as a mother is a tiring and thankless job. The Kids are busy with school, activities , enjoying their youth.. But for Wives left at home.. It can be overwhelming.. But guess what? Don't give up.. There is help.. Maybe not overnight, But like the abuse , or stress or what that was being thrusted upon you for years.. You can still make a difference , you can still become that productive person. I know ,, it seems life is so hard to deal with, But guess what? There is help.. If not family , seek professional help.. The Navy has many services, counseling , classes, etc that can help you deal with whatever ails you, But bottom line.. YOU need to help yourself. You need to reach out .. Because when you hurt yourself , you are also hurting others close to you. We are willing to help , but you need to reach out and ask.. Alot of us are so caught up with our own lives and troubles , that we figure everyone has the same strengths and avenues of assistance . But reality is we all have our strengths and weaknesses , No one is perfect and no one is immune to downfalls in life.. We all face sadness and tragedies.. But guess what? That's life. you live , you learn and you overcome.. You have too, because the alternative is death.. If you quit , its game over.. So Never Quit , Never Surrender.. Ask for help.. I'm willing to help.. But My skills and my knowledge is limited to what I know.. Seek help , not from books, or TV or even my advice blogs.. If you have trouble , seek assistance, Its the prudent and responsible thing to do.. I know everyone that reads my blogs are hard working and responsible people that want to succeed in life. I want the best for everyone! That's the honest to goodness truth.. Why would I want anything different.. I'm a good natured , fun loving , but passionate person that takes pride in what I say or do and how I say it or do it. Not everyone is cool with my methods , but sometimes you need to have someone that is ass kicker, a motivator and realist to get things flowing.. Nothing in life just happens. If you want anything great.. It takes hard work, patience and passion.. Nothing ventured , nothing gained! So, I hope my advice on this blog makes anyone that is hurting to reach out and Don't give up!! Help is always around, Don't despair! Anything can be worked out.. But remember that years of abuse , or neglect will take maybe not as long , but is not a quick fix.. A Life style change and a decision to break away from such a difficult situation may be the solution, Even if it means " Being alone .. from those that caused you such pain and suffering.. You are not alone.. !! Family , close friends and Navy Services or civilian services that help you deal with your life style and you must make the decision to change!! To the many navy Wives that have held down the fort while we , Sailors , sailed the seas and fought the wars.. WE appreciate your efforts and We are thankful for your faithful service to us.. because whether we wont to admit it.. WE succeeded because you took care of business at home!!

NFL STORY LINE JAN 6,2013,,

NFL STORYLINES. JAN 6,2013..
 What a year of football. Some amazing story lines. Where do I begin? I mean we have Peyton Manning return from possibly career ending neck surgery.. What does the MULTIPLE NFL MVP.. do.. He has one of his greatest season ever and probably has one of the most balanced football team ever.. He has a opportunity in earning another MVP Award and I would consider him for COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR ALSO.. 
 Next ..?? Is Adrian Peterson.. This man.. destroyed his knee last year and thoughts around the league , was,, its over.. He will never be the same!! Well,, that's true.. It isn't the same. He is Better than ever! Mr. Bionic man for sure.. I'm deeply impressed how he personally took the average Vikings to the Playoffs and nearly became the Leading season yardage champion.. In fact, His stats are much more incredible than Eric Dickersons record breaking year.. Perterson had longer runs, more punishing and game controlling run days than Mr. Dickerson.. But the lost of yards,, negative yards is what took his chances away for the record.. But nevertheless, I 'm impressed and he too should be considered for both awards of MVP and comeback player of the year... 
 The other amazing story is the Chuck Pagano story in Indy.. His fight , his passion to live is unreal. He is truly an inspiration and perhaps the emotional surge the Colts have played with., he is truly a feel good story of the NFL.. AND I wish him well for the rest of his life.. But I see the Colts story book ending .. end.. today against the ravens.. 
 Now.. last but not least.. The Ray Lewis saga.. He has been one of the most influential and exciting players i the past 2 decades, I love the Ray Lewis style of play and his motivational speeches are classic and his desire to be the best and demanding that from his team mates are second to none.. Ray Lewis is a inspiration for all of us.. That age, size or what not should not limit oneself to be the best one can be.. I truly love his own style of play and he will be sorely missed. But the story continues.. The Ravens have all their defensive stars healthy and ready to roll and I see the ravens making that run to the SUPERBOWL. AND DO A JEROME BETTIS STORY.. by winning it all for their beloved hero.. The Ravens have the best defense In the AFC , if not the whole NFL.. They have a strong running game and a quarterback that doesn't make mistakes.. But Joe Flacco needs to assert himself and make use of that great defense in order for them to go all the way...
 finally.. The NFL is so fun, because of the many story lines we hear about , the injuries, the firings, the drama , the comedy of it all. But one thing is for sure. NFL IS STILL THE KING OF SPORTS.. Its the most fun to play or watch and the athletes are the best the world has to offer and the history and memories we all enjoy are unforgettable!!

 Today is a gift ! That's why they call it the Present. Because the fact every morning the man above allows us to enjoy another day on earth is truly my favorite activities in my young life. I love life , I love everything about life, the foods, the smells, the fresh air, the ideas of doing new things or old habits.. The little things like eating your favorite foods , or driving your favorite car or just doing things you love to do.. read , write , exercise, hobbies.. etc.. Its the little things in life I get a feel good rush out of. 
 Life is meant to be lived , not to be watched, so get up and do what makes life fun.. Like taking a walk in the sunshine and breathing in the sights and sounds of life. birds. planes. cars . kids playing in the park. In this hustle and bustle life we live.. We often neglect to see the real meaning of life , the true essence of life.. Life is a constant cycle , of living, dying, reproducing,  hardships, TROUBLES.. issues .. journeys..Life was never meant to be a easy ride. and if it is that means you never tried to do anything in life.. I have made mistakes and errors and done many unforgettable things. But that's why its called the teenage years or the young adult phase.. We all have to face obstacles and over come them.. Th old adage. when times get tough the tough get going...That is so true.. Its how you respond to the tragedies that will dictate ones character. Nothing great in life is achieved without some thought ,planning, blood , sweat and tears. At times , we all question why we get tested or faced with so many obstacles, while others seem to slide though life. But looks can be deceiving. Even those that seem to have everything have issues with alcohol abuse,. drugs, addictions to gambling , love , attention .. etc.. But we must overcome.. Its what life is all about. Every day is a journey , a struggle to be the best one can be...Nothing stays the same. Every day we have to re-establish our image our perceptions.. People have short memories.. Its what have you done lately.. I know that so clearly.. I served 20 + years in the Navy.. and No matter how hard you have done things well. Its all about today.. Today is what you are judged on.. Not yesterday , not what you can do tommorow.. Its what you have to offer today.. So, My advice is.. greet each day as a welcome . greeting card.. even to those that already know you.. Its the last memory,. family or friend have of you.. Is today.. whether its a phone call or text.. or face book posting. twitter . or what.. Your last words or ideas id what many people in society judge you on.. Fair or unfair.. Well guess what? Life is not fair.Life is a mean mother.. She like father time. keeps going an going and going.. and waits and cares about no one. If you think that way.. Then you are living a pipe dream. Life is meant to be lived. its meant to challenge you every day in making the best decisions that good for your future.. But remember,,, if even you don't do things , that affects your life.. Deciding to do nothing is a choice also. Don't be afraid of failure or not performing well. Don't let ego or pride dictate what you want to accomplish. I'm embarking on a new phase in my life and believe me I'm concerned , But I also realize I did what I could do in last career and I'm looking forward to using my knowledge , skills , experience and leadership , motivational skills to help the civilian world. Now my challenge to all of you.. Is.. Love to live , and Go out and accomplish great things. Be around people that encourage you and offer you inspiration. Those Debbie downers, or negative Nancie's.. or Party on peeps that think partying every day is the true test of happiness, are all just delusional , fanciful dreamers that are lost in their own minds.. True character comes from those that have the strength and desire to reach their potentials and continue to strive to be the best they can be. My advice is simple.. Live for today , and don't dwell on the past.. Its done , its history , you should learn from your past , but don't try to live in it.. And for the future.... Why worry about something that is uncertain, and will come on its own.. Live for today.. and enjoy the moment!!

But I see a beat up Foster and a weak offensive line that has Schuab running for his life .. Like Rivers of the Chargers Schuab is a statue and is easy to frustrate when there is no protection. The Bengal's are one of the leaders in sacks this season and have a pretty good secondary. The Bengals don't look awesome , but they find ways to win,,,and I see them winning a close game.. 
VIKINGS AT PACKERS- I know AP owns the Packers this year, But its playoff time and I see Rodgers rising to the occasion , plus a injured or less than 100 % CB Winfield for the Vikings could spell doom for the Purple gang.. I see Rodgers and the Packers scoring early and cruising to home win..

COLTS AT RAVENS - The last hurrah for Ray Lewis and the Ravens, They have been so close the past few years.. This has to be the year.. The defense is getting to old to stay effective and Joe Flacoo needs to step up and play well. I see him doing that while the young and inexperienced Luck gets the feel of Playoff football. Its a whole new level and I feel The ravens are more battle tested and ready to make a strong run to the SUPERBOWL.. 
SEAHAWKS AT REDSKINS- Wow,, this could be the most closely contested and competitive game of the weekend.. The Hawks have been amazing this year and playing far better than anyone expected. The play of rookie sensation Russell Wilson has been AMAZING, but RG3 has been the cream of the crop.. He doesn't everything well and is extremely confident. He has a very good team and they could be the Surprise team of the NFL.. Yes.. they could possibly make a strong SUPERBOWL RUN.. I like the Skins in a tough ,but high scoring game with RG3 making a tad bit more plays that will lead to TD'S..
I had a very good season picking the regular season. Now Lets see if my logic fares well in the Post Season..

Life is not easy.. Inspired by some one I know..
 Life is not easy! If you think so, your are solely misguided . If you want anything in life you have to work hard and apply yourself.. and that doesn't mean working min wage jobs or what. I mean finding a career in health , or finance , technology , law , military.. If you want to succeed you have to choose a path that takes hard work, good grades , good image and a support group that cares about improving oneself.. I know about being with losers or party goers.. They are only concerned about getting high on pot or excessive drinking or wasting mindless hours dreaming about the good life instead of working for it. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy those youthful ventures. Geez,, its a phase or a part of growing up.. But that's just it..When I decided it was time to mature and have a future..The toughest part was breaking away from fiends or so called friends.. I mean. They were my support group for so many years. they were there so to speak.. when I needed to vent or let loose,. Not my parents.. I mean my parents are those old fashioned , square peg, nerdy folks from the islands.. They don't know shit.. Or at least I thought so.. But... Guess what???
 They knew more about life than I ever could imagine. They said things that at the time didn't make sense,. But do now... Like time waits on no one. and the longer you wait to start your career the less time you have to enjoy the fruits of your success. especially during these times.. Many people who are double wage earners are losing their homes.. My uncle who is a retiree and his wife are making good money and have all the riches of a large dream home and dream cars,. but they also have kids that are going to college and need cars and things.. I see the stress , but they are inspiring because they don't whine, they don't complain, or whine about their situation.. They find solutions , whethers its working more hours.. Cutting on expenses or pursuing educational goals that will help them in the future.. In life .. you cant always get what you want. But if you try .. You can get what you need. Thus .. My situation.. I have suffered with bad relationships and things but guess what. I refuse to quit or give up.. I go to school, I look for network of contacts that will assist me in my goals in the health field.. Its not easy.. finding jobs these days but I feel My stay with my Auntie and Uncle has been inspirational and educational.. Sure .. We make statements with the way we look or act. But that's who we are.. We cant please everyone.. and to be honest.. I don't care.. about you if your not inspiring me to do well or advising me well. I know its fun to be a Rebel// But these days. you have to make friends and you have to deal with issues head on.. Drinking , drugging and pretending or dreaming about things will only waste your time and life.. Life is so fast and to see some of my family and friends Give up or what? Just makes me so unhappy and upset. I have high expectations for my true family and friends.. I want them to succeed . I advise them well, like be respectful to your parents and don't use face book as trigger for laughs from loser friends.. But to each is own.. I mean , I have high standards,.,. I don't need silly young kids, doing min wage jobs and then blowing it on drinking.. To me,. during these uncertain times is dangerous.. The times are tough and the future even looks bleaker .. Not to have jealous , envious and silly young kids encourage me to disrect or belittle my parents.. But like I said.. to each is own.. and.. I'm more classy than that. Its one thing when you do that when your a confused young teenager.. Its another when your in college or what and over 21 years of age.. That to is ignorance, and damn useless behavior.. A true wise person,. learns from thier mistakes or misfortune's.. a fool continues to make them and doesn't realize their impotencies.. But like i said.. Some folks take longer to begin life.. and Like my Uncle said to me.. The tragedy of life is not the shortness of it, but how late many people begin to live... Life is not suppose to be a easy road.. if you want things.. you need to apply yourself.. Nothing happens overnight.. You make plans or goals and you achieve them.. But for alot of us.. We think making fun of family on fb or getting a few laugh from friends with no future seems like a better way to live.. Not me.. I'm a classy girl. and yes,. I'm no Saint , but I'm no devil. either.. and at least I'm trying.. and at least I have the self respect and dignity not to criticize or belittle a parent that has given nothing but love and her life to make sure you become something special.. But to each is own.. But It just breaks my heart that a intelligent and bold relative of mine is wasting time and money on frivolous things that will not make her life improve.. But .. she says I'm ok.. But .. I see , like many of her true family and friends that she is going on a dangerous road of deceit, betrayal and delusions of grandeur that is leading to nothing but empty promises and unrealized goals and aspirations.. We can only say or write or advise you so much.. Its up to you cuzzin.. I hope you save yourself... because We are so heartbroken to see such a young and potentially gifted individual.. just waste away with malcontents, unmotivated , no ambition dreamers who think drinking and drugging is the true happiness of life.. Only  a fool thinks that lifestyle is the way to go!! Take care and hope this blog really makes a statement to those I care about....

My First day at Boot Camp.. based on actual events.

My First day at Boot Camp.. BASED ON ACTUAL EVENTS//
 This was many moons ago, I was with my pretty cute girl friend at that time , and I couldn't sleep the night before. In fact I was sick like a dog and had the shits... Nervous ,perhaps.. But it was also a cold rainy night in Feb 1990's.. and oh was I scared!! Not about joining, But leaving the life I was so accustomed to.. The Long hair, the no rules.. the partying.. the easy life I guess!.But I was desperate so to speak, I mean I graduated from Southwestern College worked at all kinds of security jobs.. The Q or Jack Murphy back in the day .. The Border  Detention center In Otay.. The Airport and finally the famous Hotel Del.. Coronado.. I was also applying for all the Law enforcement jobs.. Nothing was happening.. so I decided to join the US Navy,. in fact my girl insisted and encouraged me to go for it. So, I did..
 That early morning , it was cold, raining and I was sick as a dog.. My girl dropped me off at the Chula Vista recruiting station , and off I went.. I was in a Van or bus with other long haired , skinny kids , wide eyed and we looked scared as hell. 
 finally we get there , it was only 20 minutes , but it felt like it took forever.. and then My life would change forever..
  get out. get out you lame brain knuckle heads.. get your gear and your asses out there and form up..
I wasn't frazzled , I grew up with a Drill instructing brother and a loud , foul mouth talking dad.. Its just I was sick and had the shits,..
 Well we form up,. I'm freezing. they yell at us. telling us ,. we are you mama and papa for the next few months.. you maggots need to stay focused and do as your told.. Easy enough right?
 Well we get to one of the buildings and we go up some stairs. once again they lecture us and go over the rules.. and then say you have a minute or two to use the head.. Well .. Silly me.. I take more than that allotted time.. and yes.. I lost my division.. When I got out. I asked another company commander did u see my division sir? He said "what did u say dum ass? Are u kidding me. the first day and your already lost.. Get your ass out of my face,,! 
 I run down the stairs.. and looking me down is my company commander. and he says" Well , well look what we got here.. Miss Prissy,,did u enjoy your head break , pretty boy.. Yeah.. My hair was long black and shiny.. and I was a young looking kid. i said. Actually , I'm sick.. ! He replied " Don't reply dum ass!. Now get back in formation. and get set for some push ups.. of course he said, Because Pretty boy can't follow directions. you all can thank him for the pushups and sit ups you guys are gonna do.. Needless to say.. I thought. Ok.. that's the end of it.. But the whole time the  whole day I was picked on mercifully. I had to demonstrate marching, I had to write on the chalk board. I have great penmanship.. and I was the last one to get a Hair cut,, because I had the longest hair.. and o course , he made it a whole production.. Yea,,/ I cried , or teared up,. I mean I had beautiful hair back in the day.. But the harassing and badgering on me continued the whole day.. In fact alot of the Pinoys went up to me.. and said, Chill out dude..!! Because it was getting to me somewhat.. I mean My first day , felt like a eternity. kind of like Training day , the Movie.. But after it was said and done.. I completed my first day of Boot Camp. But the constant butchering of my name.. Paris. par az,,-- perez,, etc.. was non stop.. But I had to take it and be the main attraction.. Needless to say , I was happy that first day was over.. But the remaining weeks or months at boot camp.. were not going to get easier,, But that's another blog.. But for the first day at NTC SAND DIEGO.. will always be one of the fondest if not longest days of my life.. and I will never forget how not paying attention to detail, could change my whole stay at Boot Camp and my beloved Company Commander!! \
