AZTECS ALUMNI-- FRIDAY NIGHTS....AFTER FB GAMES..Inspired by all Aztecs ..
ok , Guys lets think way back, when times were simpler and making us happy were too. Because we didn't have all the gadgets to keep us inside the house. We found other ways to entertain ourselves like attending Football Games Cheering or out cheering the other schools. We were proud Aztecs even though our teams were alright??!!
But it was after the games that we found excitement. recall .. we would hang out in the parking lots, listening to music.. watching the pretty Monty girls.. and the Southwest , Sweetwater, Chula Vista , Castle Park.. hilltop.. Yea,, they had some pretty girls but I still think and believe even now. We have the prettiest girls around/ especially our class. I though we had some of the finest ones around. But back to my story.. The fun was hopping into Low riders, or Muscle Cars ,. or Luxury cars and heading to all the Burrito shops. Especially Roberto's on Broadway in Chula Vista.. The hang out so to speak. We would laugh and tell jokes and look and stare at all their girls or boys through the windows that surrounded that shop.. Was the burrito;s that good. To be honest , not really , but it was our hang out , our place to go after games, a tradition so to speak.. I know I did alot of impromptu pop lockin and fighting at that place.. We also had problems with rival schools always making trouble. But most of the time it was a cool hang out.. You guys recall.. ?//
Ok.. another hangout was Highland Ave.. in national city.. It was called cruising.. it used to happen all the time. But the gangsters qnd the wanna be;s ruined a good thing. I'm happy we were the last generation or class to enjoy that stuff, because our kids today.. Have no clue about cruising , or hanging out , and just having fun outside.. Those were great times.. I cherish those days, because they are long gone. We did so many things that were cool, back in the day.. Cruising. hanging out in Parking lots,., Jamming music , pop locking in front of people.. We were silly and young but we had fun.. Whats funny is that we thought our kids would do the same.. How wrong we were.. ?? Those times we had partying and living it up in the streets or those keggers on the end of Palm. Affectionately called the Pits,., were some good times.. I know Luckier Waller Park was a cool place to hang out or for some of us Make out.. or The Wing.. was also the spot.. What makes me laugh is we thought we had privacy.. Really? Everyone knew every ones car and everyone knew what we were doing.. So what was the point? The point was, it was ours ,, our little spot we claimed during our youthful years.. It was something even to this day I hold dearly.. I know alot of us have moved away from South San Diego.. We all have lived in other places,. I lived in Japan for 6 years and Washington state for 4 years,, so yes, I was away from San Diego for 10 years.. during my Navy career, But I'm back so to speak. I live outside of San Diego, But i still make the commute to Americas finest city..,. I don't visit the South bay much,. But when I do I do get goosebumps, driving by the Wing , or the Pits. or even Roberto's IN chula Vista,.., I know we can never go back and live those days again,, But come Reunion weekend Aug 3-5 2012, I want all our classmate's to make an effort to attend one two or all the events. I know its gonna be fun. and To be honest, we need to,. Because we ain't getting nay younger,, I'm calling out all mu boyz and gals and Barkada's , cholo's cholita's.. White chicks.. The sisters and brothers to come out and show up and lets have a blast from the past,.I expect to see all the old dances. I miss all of you and I'm eager to meet , greet and hug , kiss on the cheeks.. all of you and share those times that are priceless in our hearts and minds.. For my classmates I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again and sharing good times and perhaps, rekindling friendships that we took for granted.. Time does go by so fast.. Lets make this reunion .. Nights to remember and cherish.. THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012

MONTY AZTECS .. and the groups - clicks- partners- friends.. Inspired by all Aztecs..
ok, fellow Aztecs,, you recall those days in the South Bay.. Our long hair., our Bell bottom pants , angel flights slacks. the members only jackets.. the hip hop songs or the rock tunes.. We all had our own clicks.. We had the ASB group.. Arlene, Merlyn, Elaine, ah.. sorry if forgot.. ok, then we had the brainiacs., same people right, add.. mary ann, cindy, mary mitchell, lisa fowler, jennifer gaberiel,
laarni of course, edna, brenda h, grace laut, linda francisco, melissa zapanta, elma caparas, juliet colina, winnie aguinaldo, yvonne leonguerro, ok..
then we had the fun girls.. - stella babaran, stella bancod, linda loftus, joyce domingo, jeannette collins, wendi arum,
then we had the BAD BOYS.. THE MARTIAL ARTIST SHOW OFFS --in other words the FIGHTERS..
Mel Paras, John Diega, or the Diega boyz.. George, Joe , Allan, Vince, Cesar, Guy,Victor, Leo, Joe c, the other Mel. These guys like to show off., like to talk alot and love to mix it up back in the day. I know its different these days. or maybe not.. ????
As for the rest of our classmates. we Had the jocks of course. the Actors.. Pablo. myself,. we had the loners. no need to name,, and we had the shy guys and girls.. and of course we had the Cholo's and cholita's or ruccas .. or what.? We had a mixed group.. hip hop , rap , hard rock. country , popular music, we had it all back in the day.. expect , no emails, or face book, cell phones.. how did we survive? Barely had cable or MTV - when they only played music.. haha.
Recall those days .. the pix;'s day. that's the day we would get our class pictures. and the girls. like diane. rose, judy , liz would write their names on the back of your envelope and they you had to cut out the picture and hand write silly stuff in the  back and find them later, and they were supposed to return the favor.. My issue i usually had more friends sign the envelope then pictures to give.. So of course some girls got mad. but most them didn't really care? It was a silly time of our lives. Like the annual book signings..recall.. those days. people like Irene, Diane, Liz, would reserve a page on your book, and then they would document things you guys did, or didn't do,, once again,, silly traditions. but I'm sure we will re do it on reunion day ...haha/. ok.. the other weird things we did,, school dances., recall. attending those things, and most of the guys and girls were afraid to dance. in fact some guys would ask the same girl,, names. ah,, maybe not.,. But i did enjoy Divina Gonzalez dancing style.. she had a classic style , while I was totally street hip hop style ,, the kind my classmates will see on reunion days or nights...
Oh. the other weird thing we did was match making. thinking just because we look good together , that made us a great couple.e ..people that was so wrong. but we all did it and we all suffered.. haha. ah.. those were the days, remember...
Well come reunion time? We will embrace one another , make silly jokes and comments, act like fools again for one or two nights. and recall the best times of our lives.. We didn't realize that then,, But we do now..haha.. Here's to my Aztecs and Mayans  classmates.. SPREAD THE WORD. and Lets Make 2012 Class reunion the biggest and grandest event. !!                  Black Beauty strikes again.. Inspired story by Josh b...
Well, I have to admit my bro in laws car is awesome.. It has the look of a 70's Muscle car.. and When I saw it first hand up close and personal on saturday NIGHT.. AT Jenny's and Ken's Wedding shower.. it gather more attention than it should of.. I mean its it black , cool and shiny and just looks mean.. I enjoyed the look around even though it was night time. The talking about cars with Mel and my elder bro Bud was exciting.. THE sound system blaring Van Halen tunes was epic.. It fits the whole Muscle car era.. Hard rock Music . good times.. Hard core passion for cars.. It was a fun night for sure..
The Next day . it was Jay and Jamie's party in Carlsbad , Ca.. I must admit I was hoping Mel would bring his car up there , and MY hunches were right , and when i drove around the parking lot ,, and searching for " Black Beauty".. there she was all by herself.. like I expected she would.. I parked my shiny red Mustang next to it, and had my wife Take pictures of our cool rides.. Not knowing Mel saw me drive up the parking lot and park next to his car.. He kept quiet about it and its funny , how I said I found a nice parking space ,, yeah,. right next to his ride.. He made the right choice.. I mean its a daily driver with  LUXURY INSIDE AND a room for adults in the back. It just has that feel of a luxury car like a Mercedes , with that muscle car look and performance.. In other words " like the Van Halen song.. " the best of both worlds.. I know he has always dreamed about owning a Muscle car. he would talk about Mustangs , Camaro';s , Fire birds, Trans Am.s .. Chargers , GTO's..  Corvettes, Vipers,, Nissan's, etc.. But when he fina;;y made his choice,. I must agree , for what he wanted and what he plans to do with that car. I totally concur.. I'm not a MOPAR guy. but if I had to buy one.. The Challenger would be it..
I'm still waiting on that day when I get to climb in and take it for a spin.. I'm sure the paddle shifters will make this ride fun to drive and the loud ass stereo blasting rock tunes will make it a awesome experience. I must say. The car just demands respect.. Its like Look at me. and keep looking.. IT has that classic wide body look and that mean ass front and back end.. and when he decides to tint up the windows and put on wider and blacker wheels.. It will have that dark, stealth like " BATMAN LOOK!" that he said he wants.. I'm so happy for him. I know listening to all his buddies and friends telling him what car to buy must have drove him nuts.. But hey not everyone is built for a Mustang or camaro.. or what.. This challenger is totally meant for him and I see him loving this car until he no longer has the ability to drive,, it,,, but that's another 30 or 40 years ?? Hell ,, to be honest I can see an 80 0r 90 year old man still driving that car.. haha. But for reals.. I must say , its a pleasure to see a family member finally join in on the Muscle car club. My bad ass red Mustang. My elder brothers TRUE BLUE CORVETTE , AND the Sinister mean looking Challenger.. We have it all. the Flashy red machine,. the True blue classic ride and the New retro looking Sinister challenger.. So , for your folks that will see these Rad machines.. Enjoy the sights and sounds of loud engines.. loud stereos and if tempted or prompted,.,. Burnouts??? Not politically correct in todays age,, BUT if you buy and own a Muscle car.. that's what you are. Not politically correct.. care more about looks and perception, than clean air or good gas mileage.. We are rebels and passionate about our cars.. No wimpy , prius , honda, toyota rice burners for these guys.. Pure Muscle with Big egos and Big smiles as they cruise around SO CAL showing off!! FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK.. WE SALUTE YOU.. and the others. go FAW$#$@$@!B yourself.. and drive your lame ass cars.. Until Black beauty next adventure.. Take care and beware.. MOPAR MEANS " MOVE OVER PEOPLE ARE RACING!!"  But I own a FORD,. " FIRST ON RACE DAY!!"" THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012..

My son Brandon Lee's first freeway drive.. Inspired story by Jazmine....
First of all it was nice to be off the ship and with my son Brandon's first free way drive. I have to admit I was a bit nervous , because he's driving this SUPER CHARGED V6 LIFTED 4X4 that can go fast. He did well , we took the route he is going to take when he drives to school. He surprised me how fast he can drive that thing , but then again, I drive that truck like a Sports car.. We practised parking he still needs training, but his driving schools have improved. I believe the classroom and on hands training by trained professionals is outstanding. Me. Lets face it , I'm a hot tempered and short patience dude that gets nervous .. I mean many times during the drive , I told him to slow down,,, I mean I'm not used to be the passenger and now i feel the pain , my wife and others feel when i drive fast.. or tail gate.. I know sometimes you need reminders to know how others feel. Its like when someone puts stress on you, its because you have returned the favor. Well anyways cruising around Temecula and Murrieta , Ca was fun, its really nice to be a passenger !! But i also look forward to seeing him gets his license and of course take some long drives like Vegas, Grand Canyon, New York.. Yea, cross country drives are exhausting and I have done it and to be honest ,, its really boring and tiring, sitting in a car but I'm sure My son wants to try it once in his life.. If there is a drive I like to do its the Las Vegas drive. Why? The need for speed.. I go fast 3 digits... doesn't everyone.?? Well , back to my son. He drove really well, I get nervous when he changes Lanes, but then again hes still a young driver and I like the idea that he feels comfortable with a truck.. I mean .. having a fast car might be too stressful for myself and my wife to handle. But for now I'm enjoying this time together and when he finally gets that license and he drives on his own.. I hope and Pray he follows the rules of the road and takes care. We all know how young kids can be without parent supervision.. But the years of lecturing and training and also the fear of us beating his ass should keep him straight.. If anything I got a chance to spend quality bonding time with my eldest and hopefully provide a memory he will cherish and carry on when he has a kid and he has to show him or her how to drive.. Great memories as a youth help as you get older. I didn't have alot of bonding times with my dad, but the times we had were fun., even though they weren't many of them.. Words of advice , spend time with your kids and be happy, small talk can lead to trust and belief in you, when they need that advice or wisdom,, at that critical time of their lives.. Why I chose Dodge Challenger over the other Muscle Cars......Inspired story by Justin B....
First of all , I would like to say Justin or BUD TO THOSE close to him, is a true gentlemen in my book, Sure hes not always politically correct or silent about his ideas or views, But What is True American? A person who is proud and loud and not afraid to show it.. Theirs nothing more American than thinking We are the best! Because everyone whether they admit it, Knows America is the land of opportunity and splendor.. If you want anything , America has it, and if they don't... Then its not worth wanting.. ...
ok.. now back on track.. During my years of researching and test driving cars.. Mustang, Charger, Camaro , Nissan Z cars.. yea. i did.. I was won over on St Patricks Day March 17. 2012 in Temecula.. My wife and I went for a test drive on wet roads and raining conditions.. The ride was awesome.. The speed I took it won me over, the fact i could floor it on rain puddles and spinning around the Track around the dealership.. won me over.. The ride was smooth and the spacious interior was luxurious and comfortable.. But the electronics really won me over.. Not to get too technical.. But the Amped up Stereo and the Boston Acoustics speakers , the HDD , and Satellite " Sirius Radio.. DVD,, CD- recording capabilities as well as the phone.. and Navigation system was off the hook. I loved the push button start and the keyless entry with remote elf starting was James Bond like.. Plus.. the Pitch Black color with red accents on the hood was attentive grabbing. The Ride was meant for me.. I loved the feel and my emotions were with that car. I loved the Muscle car retro look, over the Race track styling of the Mustang or Camaro,.Don't get me wrong those cars are awesome in their own ways.. But I was looking for the retro look and daily driver ability. The rear seats , though tight, is still more comfy than the Mustang or Camaro and the Practical side mirrors just made the decision more easier to take. The car just has that mean lean look , that the Mustang and Camaro just doesnt do it . I mean lets face it Mustangs are so common, and the Camaro is starting to get that reputation too. The Challenger is cool , retro and most of all unique.. I'm always the unique guy,, never followed stereotypes or going along with the crowd.. I always want to be different.. The challenger fit that bill, and when its get discontinued , because Dodge plans to bring back the Barricuda.. which is a smaller , and more lighweight car to compete withe the Sports car Mustangs and Camaro.. I chose Challenger because Im old school , I grew up in the big ass car era.. FIREBIRDS, TRANS AM-- SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT CAR. THE FAST BACK LONG BODY 302 BOSS MUSTANGS , THE BIG BODY CAMARO'S.. Sure Muscle Cars are not PC, in this day and age of economy cars and save the earth.. But I don't care. because I'm a throw back to those days of reckless youth parties and showing off your big body and big block engines ,, cranking out Van Halen. AC DC, AEROSMITH, MOTELY CRUE. RATT, LED ZEPPELIN,. SCORPIONS,. OZZY. Yes. those are days forever in my mind.. Remember my Aztecs classmates, Palm Ave racing down the street on our way to the " pits:" FOR 4 Wheeling or Bon fire Keggers. Yup ,, those days are gone, BUT every time I turn up the radio and hear those classic tunes.. and I'm in my Hemi powered Challenger.. I'm recalling our youths.. where our long hair and skinny bodies. were the norm.. and for my classmates attending our reunion... If i can.. I will be there and I want all of us to enjoy that night and for the lucky few .. We will cruise around with my ride and for one , two or three days.. relive those glory days of being a Mayan and Aztecs of Montgomery.. South San Diego... Lives forever in our hearts and minds!! I chose Challenger because it is a blast from the past and it brings back those days of cruising down Palm Ave ,, or Highland Ave in National City.. You guys remember??
