Well, another media day of interviews and analysis and predictions. but the most intrguiing story was NFL Commisoner Roger Goodell, stating the idea of expanding playoff teams, more real games, the removal of extra points and havin teams go for 2 pt plays for a pass and one point for a run.. I think these changes could be good for the league, if anything it gives hope for the additonal team making the playoffs , having a chance. Its funny Jerry Jones the owner of the Cowboys is in favor of the additional teams.... I wonder why? His team has missed the playoffs by one game ,So it makes sense , hes frustrtated Americas team with the hottest cheerleaders and the Palace in Dallas is not getting full exposure.. Its ok.. as long as they have ROMO. that team is never going to win a SUPER BOWL.. tHERE IS A REASON so many player present and past have issues with Romo.. he may be a very good quarterback , but when it counts ,like late in the season or playoffs,, he sucks..
Now.. the stories .. this week.. the owner of the Rams has just bought 60 acres of land in LA.. chances the rams are coming back.. Some say great news other say oh boy.. For San Diego Fans. What does that mean ? It means alot of the fan base in Orange County , anaheim, LA county MAY very well change back to LA RAMS.. that could spell doom for the chargers.. Because a new stadim in LA.. could possibly mean the chargers may follow suit.. It makes sense.. LA can handle to nfl teams especially if they play well and currently both teams are on the upswing. Dont blame th Spano's family ..they have tried for almost 20 years to get something done and its not happening. Guess what? In my opinion the Spano's family is just waiting for A LA STADUIM to be built and once it happens. The chargers are a good management team and have the players to win.. What a shame if this team that is on the right track.. be driven away because the city of san diego doesnt want to find a place for this beloved team. But its what san diego has always been labeled the sleepy , navy town.. and thats a shame.. The chargers deserve better the city deserves better , but like always the people in local government have other agendas , that often means.. gridlock, and no action.. Enough of that, just be for warned san diego fans.. the nfl is a no fair league and owners want to make money.. So enjoy your team our team as long as possible and dont get upset if they leave in the middle of night.. It has happened to so many NFL TEAMS .. the browns, the rams , the colts, raiders, cardinals, never say never.. those teams had bigger and more loyal followings and they off and went.. so dont get upset, if anything , just enjoy this team. because the writing is on the wall.. As long as the bolts play in a outdated, crappy stadium , No more superbowls and no more Pro or college football. The SDSU AZTECS are going to build a football field for their team , thus revenue leaving THE Q;;.. yes. I hate to say it.. but it seems the more time that goes by,, the more the Spanos family is going to make that move once LA gets it done!!
Lastly, The Manning story, I must admit after suffering a near career ending injury and coming back these past two years laying as well or even better than he has ever played is truly amazing.. If the football Gods are fair.. Manning should win the SUPERBOWL and securely cement his label as the GREATEST QUARTERBACK the NFL has ever seen. Its amazing to have witnessed a Johnny Unitas ytpe of legend in our time. Its seems we have taken him for granted all these years..
The Seahawks are the Oakland Raiders of yesteryear, they play fearless , reckless and with swagger, they are a bunch of misfits and hated players with a coach who was hated in the college ranks as well as now.. Why? because he plays old school.. meaning, he will run up the score , he will humilate you , he will distract you he will mentally tire you out even before the game begins,, he mind games and the physical way they play football is tiring and draining and come sunday ,, May ultimatey pay off with seattle first superbowl win. Its not a popular pick from a team that is from the great northwest often times misjudged and percieved as grungy and uncool.. Even a bit ruthless and crude , but guess what ? Thats old school football, they play lights out defense and have a underated offense with playmakers and no quitters. Thats the story of the week.. The Villians vs. goody too shoes. The Corporate papa johns vs. the misfits and thugs of the NFL.. bUT GUESS what its what the seahawks want and desire.. All the pressure is on the Bronocs.. no one expects or wants the seahawks to win.. and thats why its so interesting of a ball game to watch... The colder th weather gets , and the stronger Marshawn Lynch gets ,, the pounding that weak denver defense will be exposed.. The chargers with a average offensive line and a couple of playmakers ate up the broncos late in the game.. Lets face it , the chargers are no where in seattle's defensive status.. offensively the chargers a bit better than the seahawks,, but not too much.. A healthy Percy Harvin and a sramblin russel wilson.. will play havoc on the old secondary of the broncos.. But time will tell and expect a heavy dose of running by a power running team and team that doesnt do well on the rush defense.. forget the stats ,,,some stats lie.. the reason people dont run against the broncos is because they get behind and have to throw to catch up and often times score at will. The Broncos need a big effort by manning because moreno and bell and not that good enough to run the ball effectively, thats why moreno is gone next year.. But the time is here and the excitement is coming , but the old school tactics and the So called Oakland raiders of yesteryear- THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS will play their hearts out and make this superbowl one heck of an event. Those are the stories to take into account.. Enjoy the SUPWRBOWL.. HISTORY WILL BE MADE.. EITHER THE SEHAWKS WINNING THIER FIRST SUPERBOWL,, OR MANNING BEING THE FIRST QUARTERBACK TO WIN TWO SUPERBOWLS AND TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS..Cant wait to see the out come??

Media day , interviews, analysis , the year in review etc.. Its too much already, Lets get this game played already. I can see it in their eyes, these guys want to hit one another AND FINALLY settle things. We have the Best rated Offense against the best rated defense. The team that scores a lot against a team that prevents you from doing. You have old school vs. new school. you have the young and fearless against the old and business decisions. This is the NFL at IT's its greatest. The NFL higher ups and brass management want the Peyton Place and Omaha .. Papa Pizza corporate America.. MANNING says the right things, has a squeaky clean , sickeing image, He's the all American boy playing on one of the storied franchises. I mean they had another clean image John Elway , California boy go back to back .. But to be honest , it wasn't until Terrel Davis came on board , is when the Broncos became dangerous.. THe Broncos are the most explosive dink and dunk team in history. The hawks are experts are dealing with such a irritating style of offense. They will play hard , hit hard and every time they try to crossing patterns.. I hope Welker is wel.. so tto speak.. because your going to get hit like no other time in your career..The AFC is no where the level at how high the NFC teams play defense.. Hence that's why they have been winning the majority of SUPERBOWLS.. The Ravens were the exception last year. but defense wins championships , while the offense sells tickets. Everyone has put so much pressure on Manning, his legacy and his style of play this year is and forever be amazing to watch and remember. But just recall. The Broncos defense is not very good. despite the playoff play. Once again.. That defense depends on manning getting to a lead.. The Broncos don't have a defense that can win a game by itself. The Seahawks have a ball hawking, scoring defense and they can run after people. They are primed and ready to show their fans and the world , its not a fluke, its not only the 12th man deal. They are 13-3 for a reason, keep in mind The Broncos have the same record. The key is Balance.. How all 3 phases play. Offense , defense and special teams.. If the broncos are forced to go 80 yards every scoring drive consistently that may be a too tall a order to deal with. We all know manning loves to be in the pocket , out of the pocket or forcing him to thro before he wants to, you have him.. I'm still recalling how this team blew a 24 point lead to the Patriots.. I just don't believe a true Superbowl team does that? But its still one game and its up to the players and great ones to come out.. Everyone is betting on Manning , but the other quarterback is not bad, he's like the Fran Tarkenton of this generation, he extends plays by scrambing and is deadly accurate when he has a open man. Which I see happening more often, then people think. In addition Marshawn Lynch is a beast.. He has power , speed, determination ad size to make you think twice before tackling.. late in the game he gets stronger and that where the seahawks plan to do come sunday.. But that's another blog prediction.. As for this week. Its clear Richard Sherman is the star , he's articulate , he's passionate and very wise with his demeanor, He's the best talking and playing corner since DEION SANDERS, but he's a more aggressive hitting corner and even a bit more athletic.. Deion had speed and football knowledge to carry him through a great hall of fame career, Sherman has it all, and he's not afraid to say so.. Lynch is a quiet beast, he's so calm and collective in person, and it seems he's not at ease in front of camera's talking football. In other words , its not his thang. so to speak.. he speaks in slang and relaxed English. But when he plays football. he's dominating and aggressive and rules the field..As for Mannings sayings. boring , same old stuffy ,, replies. I know he's has done great things in football. But his legacy.. will be enhanced if he can win it all .. Because history says.. He has been a average playoff player and even in his Superbowl win,, He didn't play well. Its was more of Rex Grossman losing the game for the Bears , than the Colts dominating that game.. He has a chance to make history and the pressure is on.. Lets get this week over with and lets settle this.. Best offense vs. Best Defense. Old school vs. New School.. Corporate America vs. the Seattle grunge .. Its a battle we are all looking forward too. But enjoy this weeks festivities , because its fun hearing all the words of wisdom and predictions..

ARE WE BETTER OFF TODAY THAN LAST YEAR..INSPIRED BY PRESIDENT OBAMA'S STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS JAN 28,2014..
Are we better off than Last year? For a lot of us , we think do we have more money? Do we have a stable economy? Are we paying the same as last year? If you can answer yes to all three than we are better off? I mean , It seems we see ad hear less people getting killed overseas in military action. We don't see or hear terrorist attacks happening. We are able to save money , and pay the same as last year. I know they are many who are unemployed , and searching for jobs, But things are changing. President Obama is approving a higher minimum wage for government workers. Great move, but we need more jobs in the Government sector as well as the civilian sector.. The Min wage for civilian has to be raised.. 7.25 is really low compared to other great nations. My take, the more people make , the more they will spend or save ,, but it can only help the economy.. Its clear. people are stingy to pay or buy things, unless its gas, food, mortgage, rent , bills. those are the necessities, anything else is gravy , if you can afford it. The news I hear about shutting down Military Commissaries is a mistake,, millions , including retirees that look for the discounts and reduced prices and besides it offers employment to many military vets, dependents , spouses that are unattainable in civilian life. President Obama is making strides in providing affordable care and strides on improving education for many youths and has inspired many to work hard and achieve success. I know we have a lot of Obama bashers, but my take is he is the President of the greatest nation, and regardless you voted for him or not. True Americans should support their president. I know it's easy to criticize someone , but also take into account the things he has accomplished and will accomplish before his term is up. Remember, their is others that hinder getting his actions done. Its like anything in life, we all need to work together to achieve anything, No one can do anything in life without support or assistance. I choose working together with all races , cultures and life style.. Like I said.. you may not like someone's life style, but that's their business , you should judge people on how they conduct themselves and behave.. Believe me I have met and dealt with a lot of ass holes regardless or race or gender and its all the same.. Their is jerks in every culture,.. and I deal with all of them the same way.. They don't matter because I don't mind.. mind over matter. Don't let jerks dictate how you feel for a race or culture, judge that person , by their actions onto themselves, and not stereotyping images with races or what. Its not right and its useless in todays day and age. Now today or tonight when you listen in on President Obama's message, examine what he is saying , and what has he done or what he is about to do and work from their. If you don't like things write your congressman or woman and let your voice heard. To improve anything in life , you have to be proactive and not just complain on face book... Make changes by telling people that care, not careless, clues face bookers that often times , not all of them but some that post things to make people angry or respond and they don't really have a agenda or view they feel worth fighting for.. Changes happen in life because you take action.. and The only way to do it , is participate, Vote in your elections, partake in polls and write your congressman or local representative. Issues with substance will garner attention and action.. While frivolous actions will fade away like most silly thoughts or trends.. Are we better off today? Think about it and make up your own mind..

Its the start of a new week, and like anything that starts,, for a lot of us , its dealing with the hustle and bustle of work or a school week, Getting the kids ready for a new semester or just dealing with life.. I know in this fast paced rat race we all live in. I get frustrated with traffic, long lines , rude people or just dealing with issues .. But in the end.. it basically end.. the trouble, the issues, the day , the night , the week , the month.. Nothing last forever even the bad times,, Its funny, we really find out the most about ourselves when things go bad or wrong. Broken friendships, heart aches, the trouble or health issues of loved ones. Makes us take another look at our lives. We all think it.. I'm glad its not me, but to be honest whenever anyone gets sick or dies in our lives.. That could and may be us in the future. But as positive thinkers or evading the truth of reality of life. we all try to think otherwise.. I know I had a best friend that thought by not thinking about death or what they can shy away or get away from it.. But how wrong they were and perhaps why we are not really friends anymore.. When one tries to hide from their fears of death and life, they don't realize that they are not living life fully. In my case, each time someone dies in my life. I take it as a another reminder the end is coming and I need to be with people I like and do things I like to do.. It makes no use to pretend. I know when I was a teenager,, I think we all tried to be something else.. to impress someone ,, if anything not only are you a phony, but your lying to others and yourself.. But that's why we grow up and learn from the past.. Like today.. I do only things I like to do and be with people I like to be with,. anything else is a waste of time and effort and its only wasting time.. But like anything in life ,, it takes hardships and troubles to make us realize those lessons.. I'm not saying , I will always make the right choices , but now that I'm older and wiser, I know everything I do is for a reason. I don't let others ideas o thoughts change or dictate what I want to do in my life.. I know I'm not the easiest person to read , because of my many interest and ideas. But its ok.. I don't need prude, arrogant relatives to judge me. because I don't care what you think.. Because your not paying my bills or ruling my life.. and Most of you should think that too..What really matters is what you think and how you feel.. Its your own skin that counts, not what your sister , or brother or uncle ,, thinks,, because it doesn't matter. Only you can make yourself happy.. Not a wife, a girl friend.. a car.. a hobby.. its you.. and your faith in the man above.. I know some of you get turned off by religious talk,, and that s ok.. But I know all the trials and tribulations I have faced , have given me the strength and honor to carry on.. because that's what life is,, a journey.. to overcome each challenge and go on.. Nothing in life stays the same.. even the relationships you have with family and friends. Its the way you deal with each issue and go on , that defines you and your character. I know today may have cause many of us madness and misery, but there is always tomorrow or the hope of tomorrow, and we all must live our life that way.. Its hope, with out It ..life is empty.. so whenever you feel pressed or stressed in todays crazy world,, take a breath and just relax and think about good things .. because tomorrow will be different because it will.. take care my face book friends and don't worry be happy.. NFL'S SUPER BOWL WEEK WHAT'S THE DEAL ? JAN 2014..
Its SUPER BOWL WEEK.. Now all the hype the stories, the predictions. The biggest issue or question,, Whats the weather gonna be like on SUPERBOWL SUNDAY.. If its sunny and clear and no wind.. Manning will have a big day,, Now if it rains , or snows and its windy and miserable.. Then the Seahawks will win.. They have a better ground and pound game and Wilson has that added dimension of running or scrambling buying time to disect that suspect secondary.. The Seahawks have the best defense in the league and one of the best we have seen since the ravens or the bears Superbowl winning teams.. and to be honest the Seahawks have a better all around offense then those two defensive teams.. Now the broncos are the best offensive team in history, they like throwing screen and shorts passes,, problem is .. the hawks have the quick , hard hitting line backers and corners that will slown down ane make them think twice trying those quick passes.. If the broncos want to win,, they have to run the ball to keep the Seahawks at bay., if not, that defense can make picks and recover fumbles and score.. If the broncos don't jumt to a lead , I see a tough game witt he sehawks grounding and pounding their way into a physical and mentally draining game.. The broncos have all the pressure because they have been labeled the greatest offense with the greatest qb ever. The hawks are young , hungry , cocky and confident , they play with alor more passion and effort than the broncos.. the broncos are going to be tested, if they can hang withe bangers the hard hitters, because it will be hard hitting and test ones nerve to play in cold , lowsy weather. In my opinion it was or a big maistake to play the glaour game in cold weather.. Yea,, they are professionals and such,, its not that,, but it makes it harder to throw or catch a wet or cold ball. and windy can make throws go hay wire.. The ground game will be the key for both teams.. If both teams can run.. it may be a long drawn out game. But I see a one dimensional broncos team looking to throw and challenge those talented defenders,. The pressure is on and its all on the broncos and their qb.. Keep him out of pocket and off his mark.. Manning will struggle.. While Russel is threat to run or throw on the run.. He's a play extender and because the broncos have a old and average secondary.. I see Wilson and Company , score enough and earn themselves a well deserved SUPER BOWL VICTORY.. MARSHAWN LYNCH lets his action speak for himself.. all season long, he has been quiet and silent and fined by the NFL = NO FAIR LEAGUE.. Its going to be fun what he has to say before and after the game because He's primed and ready to play well under bad conditions, The badder the weather it is , the More beast mode he becomes. There is no doubt the broncos want a good day of weather,, because it its rainy , cold or snowy... The betting man has to bet on the diverse and heavy hitting team.. Lets hope after this ridculous experiment playing in cold weather in the middle of winter ends.. We can see the best teams play their best brand of football. Its a shame,, that the game will be dictated on weather conditions and we will see a less than favorbale playing performance by both teams.. But who ever wins.. The controversy of weather , and Mannings last stand.. will play into effect. We all know that Manning played his heart out and his physical condition is a hit away from him being crippled for life.. I must say I admoe his desire to get that ring, but its clear his time is fleeting an he knows it,, Thats why he will do jis best come sunday,. and may take risks he would normally not take.. Lets hope we see a great game and major imjuries,, But I fear with wet footing and windy conditions.. Injuries and mistakes could be a bigger factor than any other issue that day.. This game will seprate who is good and great and I see the seahawks exlpoding on the scene to be a team of destiny and greatness. The new school vs old school.. and unfortunatley ,, this is a game for the young and hungry.. NFL IS A NO FAIR LEAGUE.. Story book ending is Manning winnning it all.. but reality is.. the younger , faster , stornger and hungrier and most disrespected team win it all , like the Ravens last year or the giants of yesteryear.. Its not only the most prettiest team , that wins... football is a brutal , smash mouth football.. and look for super sunday to showcase what team plays their best and imposes their will.. Just like the Wilson emblazed on the NFL FOOTBALL.. WILSON will be the name heard before , during and after the game.. Whats the deal? The game is coming and everyone is expecting a good game. But dont be surpised if we get a one sided game either way.. Both teams have the diversity and ability to make this over before it starts.. My pick.. is.. It will not be the most exciting , or thrilling game and it wond be record breaking performances.. instead look for a low scoring defensive battle where the team that makes the least mistakes and plays their game will win .. Now who does it? We will find out SUPER SUNDAY!!!

NFL PRO BOWL TEAM SANDERS VS TEAM RICE 2014.. My take...

NFL PRO BOWL TEAM SANDERS VS TEAM RICE 2014.. MY TAKE,,,
First of all it was a exciting game until the end.. You could not have scripted a better ending? Yes , scripted and exciting, theirs is no doubt the game had drama and kept close for a reason.. THE NFL wants this game to be around , the players, etc.. It was a better played defensive game , but offensive it was awful.. Too many turnovers , dropped passes and lousy play calling. But it was close and exciting.... Is the game still viable for the future.. Sure, its a nice stalling tactic before the SUPERBOWL.. Get on with this game already.. I must say the uniforms were the ugliest uniforms in NFL PRO BOWL HISTORY.. GRAY AND GREEN AND the all white uni's were a tad bit better , but grown mean wearing white see through pants is not a good look , especially the fatty's trying to block.. the so called pro bowl offensive stars on team rice were horrible.. Brees and Rivers took a beating so to speak... It was a defensive game and it was untypical offensive show ,that the Pro Bowl normally is.. The great moments of the game. JJ WATT SACK DANCE ,, SWIMMING ON THE TURF WAS FUN.. THE DEION DANCES.... BY THE LOSING TEAM was classic.. I loved Mike Tolbert's game winning 2 point conversion and mock dance was the best.. get this Rivers called the play and it worked,, signs of the times perhaps..?? But the greatest moment was seeing and watching loud mouth arrogant sanders get beat like old times. Rice owned him back in the day and still does.. As a player deion was something to watch and a player we all wanted to emulate growing up. But as a person, he's a jerk that is so self absorbent even in his old age.. It was great that Prime is done.. Its a new era.. so to speak.. Hey,, Im not saying he was over hyped,, at times I think he was but he did make kids want to play defense. His legacy is forever hammered into society because millions of kids want to do the celebrate dance .. But its all good Watching the classic Jerry Rice get the last laugh was lassic.. Sure its doesn't mean anything so to speak.. But for Jerry Rice fans and old school guys that like the humble , play the game serious without all the banter and such is what I loved.. Today's game is full of Deion's and show offs,, To be honest it was fun to see the old school , beat the new school.. despite the dirty moves by sanders taking Cam Newton.. I mean it nearly worked , but Brees and Rivers and Smith did a excellent job getting scores and setting team sanders for the loss.. Now it was great the game wasn't decided by a field goal.. that would of sucked. It was nice to see them go for it near the goal lines,, instead of see field goals,, It was fresh to see, something I like to see in the real games.. eliminate conversion kicks and go for it.. but the NFL , probably wont its ok.. Its still the greatest game to watch and play.. What to do next year? First off. better uniforms and when drafting.. draft qbs.. all at one time , as well as tight ends.. etc.. just a thought.. As for punters and kickers.. no need to draft them.. that's a waste of time.. They weren't needed.. haha..
Lastly, I miss the skills competition, that would be nice whose he fastest player or the best catcher, or best passer.. best kicker etc.. I mean its something that really proved something , unlike this charade of a pro football game. But I love football and next week it ends for another 6 or so months.. so enjoy every bit of it because after next Sunday,.. we have alot of time to do what you like to so.. like movies , reading, surfing the net , exercising, riding bikes, or driving fancy cars during the summer months in california.. Enjoy , because football season is about to end.. But lets not forget . exciting things are coming like draft day. pre- season , and of course the regular season.. The hopes and dreams of another season is coming and for those die hard faithfuls that have never experienced a SUPERBOWL WIN.. lets hope those teams.. Get their wish.. If not.. There is always next year.. for alot of us.. That has been heard too many times in our lifetimes.. Are you ready for the finale.. SUPER BOWL WEEK IS UPON US.. ENJOY THE HYPE./.

NFL PRO BOWL - 2014 - TEAM SANDERS VS TEAM RICE...

NFL PRO BOWL 2014.TEAM SANDERS VS TEAM RICE. PRIME VS GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!
Just recently , the NFL network had a hilarious PRO BOWL DRAFT DAY.. funny, exciting, what the heck? I mean the most notable or most embarrassing moment was Philip Rivers was the last player selected , even the punters and kickers were picked ahead of him.. And to top it off going to a team with Drew Brees..?? Good luck on that one Rivers... The whole day was full of ego's and senseless fun , but then again no one including myself , really didn't care for a All star game played with no real effort.. Do I see a difference this year? No. despite ALL THE HYPE AND STUFF. its going to be touch football in pads,, think about it.. These guys are not going to risk their careers over a silly , useless game ,, where the only prize is the trucks and of course the money at the end.. Based on the draft picks.. Sanders went with strong defense and Rice has the better offense.. Who wins? Who cares? My pick is that the Team Rice with the taller wide outs and the more faster and versatile running backs.. I can see them running away with this one.. But I will give THE NFL CREDIT.. because of the team captains and the marketing ,, I will waste my Sunday afternoon watching millionaires run around playing touch football with pads.. if anything I see alot of big plays on the ground and on the air.. MY picks for offensive player.. Brees, graham....Mcoy.. as for defense.. Im looking for Cromartie making some picks and playing great shut down corner play.. In other words a clean sweep for Team Rice.. As for the game.. Maybe it generates interest for another year or two.. But at least its making changes to create interest..
If it were me.. I would make every play live. meaning, if they go for a two point conversion and a fumble or pick happens play it out, meaning if the team takes it to the house.. count it as a score.. Another.. get rid of punts,.,play all four downs no matter what,,., and no more extra points.. in other words get rid of the field goal kickers,.. make every play count.. no matter what.. go for it.. Since it doesn't count.. ignore excessive celebrating.. they them high step and group celebrations in the end zone, middle of the field etc.. Make it a complete show of show offs.. Lets face it.. that's what this game is all about.. showing off. Also no more touch backs,, if you catch it in the end zone you have to take it out. In addition because we are eliminating punts,, we wont see those boring fair catches we all hate to see anyways.. Its something to think about.. I mean the game lacks excitement why not have the game played like it should be.. every play counts.. I know it's not what they deem proper football, but its something to think about and do!!

The cycle of life.. We all hear about it.. studied it feel it.. But do we accept it? Of course not.. we all think we will live forever or we like to think so.. We feel each day is a guarantee, but believe me , its not.. I mean we hear and see accidents happen, people dropping dead, or killed y being in the wrong place at the wrong time.. We all think , I wouldn't be there? Really,, What about shootings in mall , or dept stores or even school.. I mean.. Our kids are at harm.. It is really that dangerous ? Or is it media , social media.. etc.. the speed of info is so much faster than days gone by.. But its scary.. and because of that. I live each day is my last,. Because it might be.. It can be.. Especially the older I get and I hear and see stories of parents of my classmates dying and classmates dying off. Its depressing at times and alot of the times I feel like not looking at facebook entries.. in fact I took a break,, only to return to see death and sickness , drama continues. But like anything in life,, or death you cant run away or escape the realities of life.. Which is.. our time is coming. But as long as I live I'm going to do what I like which is writing , dancing, practicing martial arts and sharing my talents with everyone.. Its my legacy and it should be your legacy whatever it is.. Do what makes you happy and have a passion for it. Because you never know when the cyle of life comes into play.. Everything has a beginning , a life.. and an end.. Nothing last forever.. We all change. our attitudes our personalities.. I realize that as much as I would love to think and act like a 17 year old.. My old age steps in or parenting side comes into play and I have to speak out.. But a child at heart. But I know time is running down.. I see each day , my aches and pains flare up and the wrinkles and gray appear on my beard or face.. Its a sad but true reality.. The cycle of life or father time has no mercy or heart,. The minutes, hours and days and weeks and years continue on , whether you like it or not.. So be happy.. For me.. I try to prolong youth by using all the health products , and eating and exercising and getting enough sleep.. But time still rolls by.. But I'm, a fighter and I 'm fighting father time,.mother nature... the grim reaper.. We have to.. Take care of your kids and teach them well and enjoy each day and the memories we had with our parents.. I know I miss my mama who passed many years ago,. it was heartbreaking and to this day , I still tear up looking at her photo. I miss her so much.. But.. I'm not ready to join her in Heaven.. I'm still a productive citizen and my wife , kids and family still enjoy my company. I know I'm a moody , irrational and at times.. impatient person that wants whats right. But I'm also thoughtful , reflective and compassionate person that wants to make people happy or think.. Take time to smell the roses and take care of anyone.. Hate only brings more hate.. anger only brings more anger.. Be happy and don't worry,,, things will work out if you keep trying.. Winners win.. and quitters lose. Don't let others dictate how to live.Because only you can make you happy.. Not your wife , kids or friends. Like my best friend Joe always tells or reminds me.. Only you know how to love you the best.. So with that.. Take care of oneself and take time to rejuvenate your heart and mind.. By doing what makes you happy.. If you have a hobby or passion embrace everyday and don't let others mess with you.. Its the cycle of life.. We have to live each day as it is.. and enjoy each moment because nothing is guaranteed in life, only that is here and gone tommorow,, its the sad cycle of life.. or the necessary cycle to keep the fresh in and the dying out.. My worst fear is not dying , but not living my life to its fullest.. Don't ask why..? ASk Lets do it.. You wait your too late.. You must embrace each day and let the cycle of life be a part of you , instead of scaring you.. Life is meant to be lived and not to be taken for granted. We all have seen people come and go in our lives , and because of that.. I have no need for people that don't like how I am or try to change me.. Because I am , what I am and that's all that I am.. .. I'm popeye the sailor man... hehe.. My favorite old school cartoon.. So Go out and enjoy life and live it to its fullest.. Don't waste time,. Enjoy it doing what makes you happy!! Happiness is contagious ,, spread it and share with with those that love and care for you!!!

Its seems every time I go out and drive my muscle car , their is a idiot in some cylinder throw away car that wants to challenge me. people please.. 4 cylinder vs 8 cylinder.. its no match,, and I love proving it ever day all day. But what makes me laugh is that these fools are so serious.. People please.. relax.. if anything your going to blow out a gasket or add wear and tear on your rice burning car. Yeah its mean,. but its the truth.. and I'm sure alot of you see that all the time,. little cars weaving in and out in traffic.. really? If anything you look foolish , stupid and make the roads more unsafe.. am I guilty of that.. I go with the flow and its hard to do with all the blind spots I have in my muscle car.. But it just gets me when people or fools think they can compete.. My thinking.. they are insecure wanna be's that want to show they can drive fast. If anything it shows you can drive reckless and dangerous.. But to each is own.. But it seems beauty brings out the beast in people.. No wonder my wife hates riding in my car at times.. People always want to challenge the challenger.. But my words of wisdom.. Leave the Queen of the road alone.. the beast is MOPAR... MOPAR OR NO CAR.. GET real folks.. because I know what I have and I don't need to show off. But like i said, it doesn't matter driving in San Diego,, or Orange county. their is fools that want to tailgate or speed by to challenge the challenger.. But Black beauty is unfazed.. She just shines and rolls by with pride, and laugh when we see junkers or throw away cars try to compete.. Its a lost cause.. get a life or better yet,, Get a Real car.. No disrespect but hybrids , 4 bangers and smart cars are not my thing.. sure great gas mileage ,, and these days surely the best choice. But I'm a gambler , I'm a difference maker I'm a loner that wants and desires attention and loves the thrill of power in a car.. The thrill of victory and the rush of power when cruising the streets is like no other and unless you own a muscle car .. you have no idea what I'm talking about.. and if you are curious go out and test drive the muscle cars out there.. You might make the switch that will forever change your life and driving style.. Its not for the faint heart or the conservative minded.. Its for the ones that want excitement , danger and thrills that other cars cant duplicate.. I love my muscle car and all the trials and tribulations that come with it,,.As for the wanna be's.. oh please.. dream on.. and Get out of my way.. oh yeah.. Muscle car spells that motto.." 49ERS VS SEAHAWKS-- What a game.. The hawks were tenacious and they wanted that game and the 12th man was indeed a factor.. But they have the greatest corner cover man in the game, since deion sanders.. May i say more cocky and confident. The Man Richard Sherman not only shuts down half the field but players alike.. The loud mouth ,, self proclaimed great player Mike Crabtree was a non factor.. and Kapernick fails at the end of the game , like last year and once again this year.. The problem with kapernick is he has no touch on his passes,, he either throws it too hard or too soft and doesn't have the Wilson accuracy and decision making.. He looks the part , but the last two seasons outplayed by Joe Flacco and Russel Wilson.. No shame.. but not championship caliber.. I saw his attitude at the end of the game.. he looked lost.. and for a franchise quarterback.. that's not good for the niners moving forward.. They will be contenders next year.. maybe? I mean back to back heartbreak seasons,, The mental part might be their problem next year.. Plus the hawks, cardinals and rams are playing very well. perhaps the best division in football.. The hawks are primed and ready to win it all.. They have that old school offense and a defense is second to none. Great performance and statement to the league , that they can play smash mouth, ball controlled football.. Great team effort..

PATRIOTS VS. BRONCOS--The Manning show was amazing , they scored on nearly every possesion , and just outplayed one of the greatest teams ever.. It was a mouth shutting , hands down performance. The illegal picks and so on and so forth deal.. Its doesn't matter , because that happens all the time.. The fact ,, is the Patriots were manhandled and the Broncos ,, maybe the greatest offense of all time.. ? Really? We will see on SUPERBOWL SUNDAY.. NUMBER DEFENSE VS.. NUMBER ONE OFFENSE.. BOXER VS. PUNCHER. A CLASSIC SHOWDOWN./THE BRONCOS have scored more points than any other team in NFL HISTORY AND are on the verge to send Manning home with a SUPERBOWL RING.. The defense that was average all season,, has finally arrived and what better time than now.. To win in the playoffs you have to win now ,, not in sept or oct or dec.. its now or never.. These two teams were on a collision course that hasd one of the weirdest and strangest season I can recall. But normality has sent in and we have a classic match,. and my pick, will come on my next blog.. But for now.. The Broncos played very well and on their way despite the illegal pick controversy.. Its like deion sanders once said,.. The winner can talk all the trash they want because we won.. Winners win.. losers complain.. Next patriots.. But get brady some catchers like manning ,, or expect another loss in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP..

49ERS VS. SEAHAWKS
This is a basic throwback , hard nosed physical football game.. The Hawks are unbeatable at home, the home town crowd is amazing,, in a close , contested game I have to pick the hawks.. But the niners can pull off a upset and heres how.. Basically,, The Gore effect, and Hunter.. run , run and get kapernick into the act.. Nothing quiets a loud crowd than an consistent running game.. During the Charger glory years with LT, that crowd would quiet down.. when the run game got going.. The niners need to do the same.. But they also have the playmakers like Vernon Davis. Michael Crabtree , that can stretch that defense ,,in other words ,, spread them out and soften them for the run.. The hawks have a beast in Lynch.. but losing Harvin will be a big loss.. The hawks can play defense and will need them to play another tight close game and make turnovers happen.. If not , The Niners just have a mission a goal , after losing in the SUPERBOWL LAST YEAR.. They remember that nasty taste and they will use that to motivate , intimidate , aggravate, irritate the hawks all game long.. It will be a rough and tough game , But I'm picking the talented and more experienced team on a winning roll.. The Niners win.. Look for gore and hunter having big days as well as davis and crabtree..




AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

PATRIOTS VS BRONCOS..The battle of the legends , the future hall of famers , the greatest of all times.. The Broncos have done what no other team in the history of the NFL.. They are truly offensive powerhouse.. and the defense seem to have risen from the dead.. so to speak.. But I cant go against Brady and company.. They have experience and one of the greatest coaches ever. They are playing rough and tough football and that defense is better than the broncos and they will cause fits for manning.. They will get him off his mark and make him use that bad ankle.. Its clear Manning cant go deep and the Pats will take away the run game and force Manning to win the game.. He is capable , but I don't see it , especially after blowing a 24 pt lead to the patriots.. Just my opinion , a true superbowl team just don't let that happen.. Like I have stated many times.. The Broncos had to score 606 pts because they had too. Coach Fox doesn't trust the defense and manning feels the same way.. In the championship game , every mistake is magnified and Manning will realize, by not having the run game going , The Pats will dictate how the game goes.. The Pats will control the tempo of the game and keep manning on the sidelines,, and while they have the ball they will score and make manning feel urgent when he does get into the game.. Historically Brady and the Pats own Manning and the Broncos or Colts and I don't see any difference.. The Broncos have a inconsistent defense and playing 3 quarters of good defense against the chargers doesn't change anything, because once the chargers decided to air it out they shredded the secondary and though Rivers is very good. Terrific Tom Brady is a 3 time SUPERBOWL CHAMPION and will send manning home to do more corny ass papa john commercials and yell omaha all night long ... The Peyton manning dream of retiring and winning a Superbowl ala.. John Elway.. is not going to happen.. ELWAY had a strong defense and a hall of fame runner TERREL DAVIS...Moreno and Bell doesn;\'t match up to Davis or Legarrete Blount who will ground and pound that broncos defense.. The Patriots win and do so with time consuming drives and a crushing run game..

Well , charger fans or haters,, now that things have settled , tears or laughs are now just distant memories.. Now the bottom line according the source.....
The Chargers were ripped off by a less than concentrated offensive coordinator.. I mean,, I know he wanted a job.. but could he wait a few weeks?? I mean,.. I cant prove it , but it seems the Bengals game plan was less than the usual charger attack. I mean Rivers throwing less than 20 passes in the first half seems , well not balanced.. Sure the Chargers were running well and have been the whole season.. But the Bolts also like to throw or rivers does.. But for a charger team to be blanked for nearly 4 quarters by a average defense was well.. not expected.. I doubt that Broncos defense will do that to Tom terrific Brady at home. In fact Brady will light them up and send manning to sell more Papa John pizza's or sell Omaha city advertisements.. The Broncos are a flawed team.. and the chargers rookie coaching staff figured them out.. So enough said.. Bill the genius and Tom terrific will be splendid in their attack and go to another Superbowl.. and probably win.. despite the great defenses of the NFC.. Its nice to have championship defenses, but to have a future hall famer and Brady Magic will be something to behold. As for the Bolts.. not a bad run.. To win out and get into the playoffs and actually win one.. This team has flaws too,, they need another pass rusher, a consistent corner and perhaps another offensive lineman to protect rivers.. If rivers goes down.. the bolts are done.. so they need to make all efforts to get the best healthiest offensive line to protect the franchise. AS for the coaching staff , I like what i see and hear from the staff. They are well trained , enthusiastic and hard working and next years draft and free agent signings will be fun.. Just remember they did a wonderful job with the top 3 picks , they all played well and contributed to the success of the teams winning record. I have no doubt they will bring and create another season to remember and I'm looking forward to thier additions and subtractions. As for the whisenhunt deal.. I really think he could of waited and should of waited , before doing such interviews.. How can anyone be solely focused on task ot hand if they are being courted so to speak.. The chargers were sleep walking the first 3 quarters and it just makes you wonder why the offense took so long to get started.. Yes.. The conditions were bad, but manning managed to score 17 pts in the first half.. Just a thought to simmer on,, since the bolts gave it a galant try.. and was a touchdown away from tying game.. hmm. if the bolts could of score one in the first half.. the second half could of been different? But would of or could of. is what losers say or think about.. This team over achieved and surprised everyone including other owners in the league who fired coaches with longer stints and better talent. The Chargers rejuvenated the charger faithful and its fun to be a charger fan again.. as for the band wagoners.. jump on of off ,, the more the merrier but next years team will be something to contend with.. Whether or not Manning stays with the broncos next year.. THE AFC WEST will be a wild ride. and I see the chargers being a part of the journey into another playoff run.. and perhaps a SUPERBOWL RUN.. the city and the fans have been longing for.. I know it sounds to good to be true , but I like the core players and the additions next year ,, we have the Real McCoy and the offensive formula for success and the players to execute that plan.. The chargers are going into a New era and the this new management team is fun and likable and successful. Its so great to see live locker room speeches from the Coach and getting words of wisdom from the owners and GM Telesco.. I know its early in this new team , But I feel good about their vision and ideas.. Its not only me , but the many fans that celebrated in National City after the playoff win and the hundreds that greeted the team after the playoff loss to the broncos.. The season was success and next year will be exciting , I cant wait for Charger Fan Fest and practices during the preseason.. and of course .. the regular season and watching a team that has found the formula for success and a Coach that instills discipline , desire and passion , you can not only see it on the eyes of the players , but feel it with their emotions in the locker room.. Getting that Nervous Norv after taste out of charger fans,,, I thought would take seasons to erase.. But after this season.. All the issues that AJ and NERVOUS NORV.. bestowed upon us.,, Is merely a distant and horrible memory.. and now the San Diego chargers are true contenders that the league will have to deal with for seasons on end.. The ERA OF EXCUSES AND DOUBLE TALK ARE GONE.. WE HAVE THE REAL MCCOY.. AND IT SPELLS.. WINNING FOOTBALL.. AND FIRE BACK INTO THE CHARGER FAITHFUL.. ITS ROLLING THUNDER AND POURING RAIN.. Its amazing, only a few weeks into New Year,, and yet I still see and hear about horrific stories of nonsense.. Whats wrong wit you people? The latest shooting at a showing of Lone Survivor with aot of retired Military and Law enforcement ,turned ugly tragic and fatal.. over what? Texting during previews of a movies? Please people.. sure I get irritated when people do that , but to shoot someone over it is ridiculous and uncalled for..., and get this , he's a retired cop.. What? Yes,, he should know better than to use excessive force for any case. But this one is too unreal to imagine.. How can you value or devalue a persons life based on a movie showing? I'm sorry ,` I feel he should be held more accountable than a normal citizen, just because he once patrolled the streets.. I know life in America can be wonderful , but when you always seem to hear and see such stories makes you wonder whats wrong with people? A human beings life and their loved ones trumps anything you might find unacceptable behaviour.. I know i see on the streets and road when alot of kids and old people texting.. why? Is it really that important? Well ,, after this new stories it makes you wonder who you are watching movies with,.. I mean once upon a time it was safe to watch movies or ride a bus , or attend sporting events.. But it seems people , society , no longer have morals and values and what they seem important in their lives dictates how life should be.. Well people, life is only here a while and its a gift we should cherish and protect and not use violence to solve issues or disputes.. What happened to old fashioned yelling and punching one another.. Pulling out a gun or weapon is unlawful , deadly and crazy.. Whats wrong with people these days? Perhaps its their upbringing or lack of,, movies, videos,, music, its insensitive and uncaring society.. Too many people who think that what they see in video games or movies is real life,, Its the way to deal with everyday issues.. But sad to say.. people are human , and they get offended or hurt regardless of what they have seen or heard.. Today's society tries to desensitize everything , making everything easy to answer by doing certain procedures or what? But for those of us that have lived a long life.. Alot of times things or issues don't get resolved in one sitting or one day or week, Problems that took awhile to create , is surely going to take more time to resolve,, But today's society is so impatient and so insincere about what they want and what they want to portray to family and friends. Many people are confused about what a man needs to do , or what a woman needs to do,.. People are concerned about people that don't matter. Peer pressure is a terrible issue many youths deal with and we parents have no clue to handle.. Today's youth have so many avenues to pursue and alot of them are confused.. I know its easy to say when I was young, we did this and did that. But guess what ? Those were different time and life today is so much more complex.. But that's why today's youth , don't respect the older generation,, and vice versa.. Its because we all grew up different and we both look at life so different.. Back in the day , respect , honor and doing the right thing was the code of our generation.. Today's generation is alot different. Why? the media exposure, the social medias, the lack of moral campuses , the lack of respect, poor parents and teachers and role models.. It doesn't matter, evilness exist among all races, classes , or cultures, and because of that we have people that think its ok to shot or kill someone over nothing , like texting , or teasing , or arguing.. Whats wrong with people? Its clear.. and sad ,, but what are we to do? teach your kids well, don't harbor hate and don't be selfish .. and have a morality that supposed to separate us from wild animals.. But we all know, some of us will do that and others will ignore my pleas or ideas and go on being a rude , jealous and evil being whatever the reason. We are supposed to be children of God, but at times I see more children of the beast and with that. We shall overcome those and don't stop believing in good people , because they are out there.. seek them out and promote them and the others,, pray , prosecute and don't let them win... The good will overcome and the bad will feel the wrath .. some day... or at least we pray that happens because its what society needs to survive.. We have net the enemy and its us!?!?!

THANK YOU 2014 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS AND ITS TRUE FANS.. INSPIRED BY CHARGER FANS..
What a wonderful, crazy, unpredictable , exciting and successful year for the New head coach and GM.. and the new offensive style and attitude.. I know.. another heartbreaking loss in the playoffs , but guess what? I liked what I saw,, We saw a team that fought hard despite injuries and mistakes,, they fought on.. Sure Denver dominated the game , but the Bolts never quit and made it somewhat exciting at the end.. But I saw things to appreciate like .. making the playoffs,, and keeping the Stealers out.. Yes,, MIke Tomlins.. obvious cheat , block the side line was so uncool.. and he knows it.. Ok.. they have won more trophies than any other NFL TEAM.. but that act was uncalled for, Good on the NFL for the heavy fine and draft restrictions next year.. Well deserved!! But enough of that.. Great year by the rejuvenated Rivers and Mathews and the surprise star in Keenan Allen ..Next years wide outs .. are going to be a defensive headache... Allen , Alexander , Floyd, Gates , Green , Woodhead , Royal.. Mathews.. Alot of weapons.. I expect a higher scoring total and a dangerous team next year.. The defense is still a work in progress , look for pass rusher , corner back another strong safety in the draft.. and who knows,, maybe some free agents worth signing.. The Cox signing was expensive in more ways than one.. The close call loses could of made a difference in the win - loss column,,, But that's how it goes in life or what? I just want to say for a team everyone including fans thought this was another 7-9 , maybe 8-8 year.. and no playoffs,, to see this team win out and finish 9-7 , and one playoff win and loss,, is alot more than we all expected.. No shame losing to the highest scoring team in NFL HISTORY AND possibly this years SUPER BOWL CHAMPS.. Its clear Manning is on a mission and may get that LOMABARDI TROPHY and retire.. well that's the word... That would be a atory book ending like John Elway.. It seldom happens ,, but He is playing like never seen early or late in his career. Great job chargers, great finish despite loss and thanks to the fans that have endure the many years of frustration and near misses.. The Air Coryell , The Boss Ross and Marty ,LT years.. it has been heartbreaking.. as for the band wagon,.. thank you too.. I know its hard to be a true charger fan,, the heartbreaks and the near misses , wears you out.. But that's what great about the NFL.. there's always next year.. I'm looking forward to attending Charger fest with my boys and getting autographs and running my charger blue tuck with flags waving around the THE Q parking lot.. and of course blasting all the charger theme songs,, and doing my inpromptu pop lock routines.. its my tribute to the loyalists that come out each year for charger fan fest and of course the practises are fun.. I'm looking forward to the preseason predictions and the new editions.. and of course another run for the playoffs.. if manning returns,, expect dog fights all season long , if not,, i still see a tougher season with improved chiefs and raiders.. yes raiders.. recall they did beat and dominate the chargers this year in one of the most lopsided losses this year.. But thats the future, for now,, I want to say Thank you to the Spanos family, getting it right hiring the best GM AND HEAD COACH AVAILABLE AND creating a culture that is destined for years of winning.. If anything we were teased and previewed to a talented team that is going to get better with draft picks and injured players returning.. What a season to remember and True Charger fans,, get set for years of consistent , winning football.. and perhaps.. The ultimate Prize.. NFL really stands for NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. because who would of thought the chargers would be true contenders and create havoc on NFL head coach firings and hirings.. Because our rookie , first year Head Coach took a losing team and made them contenders in one season,. In my humble opinion.. He should get Coach Of year honors,, as well as COME BACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR PHILIP RIVERS AND ,, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR KEENAN ALLEN.. This was a amazing and unpredictable and unexpected finish and I'm thank to the organization and the True Bolt FANS 4LIFE!!! KEEP YOUR HEADS UP.. THIS TEAM NEVER GAVE UP AND GAVE THEIR BEST EFFORT.. The hawks are playing well , but have struggled at the end of the season.. For a young team to have a week off , could be there downfall.. Its playoff time.. its crucial.. hawks.. play their game and make the sainst play catch up... Brees removed the monkey off his back with a good win against the eagles on the road.. But the hawks have the real deal defense.. and because of that I see the hawks.. winning in a tight close game.. The key is defense, they will get turnovers and turn them into scores,,,,

COLTS VS. PATRIOTS- The Patriots play well at home.. and I expect Brady magic to be in tune. Great comeback by luck last week, But get behind with Brady and its over/This is not journeyman Alex Smith or the young and unpredictable Chiefs defense,,, The Patriots will win , but it will be close.. Look for brady to use his power run game to get a lead , protect a lead and await the winner of Chargers and Broncos game.. No one takes away your playmaker better than Bill and having two weeks to game plan.. But we all know turnovers , mistakes , can turn the tide.. But if the Pats play mistake free football at home I see them winning this game with power running , and accurate pass plays.. The Patriots will prevail..

49ERS AT PANTHERS- This could be the best physical game of all .. Who makes the less mistakes,., and I see the Niners winning handily against a hurting panthers team.. No steve smith or strong offense to get back the high flying niners.. Sorry panthers,, you do have the better qb.. but the better team wins.. and the niners have the better balanced team and have the longest winning streak,.. next to the Chargers..


CHARGERS AT BRONCOS- MY UPSET SPECIAL . and heres why? The Chargers are playing with house money.. true wild card,, no one expects them to win,. Vegas, fans.. etc.. They are loose and because of that.. all the pressure is on Manning,. who by history has the worst playoff percentages,, 9-11 , with Favre and Marino below him.. Why? Simple ,, defenses on those teams feel they don't need to step up.. they don't need to be aggressive. its state of mind , more than a physical issue.. its true.. the bronocs set records scoring points , not because they wanted to,., They had to.. They had to score 51 TO BEAT THE lowly cowboys and got behind with the colts... and were limited against the chargers on both games.. The way to beat the broncos,, is simple,,. be physical.. smash mouth football and don't turn over the ball.. Manning gets nervous in the playoffs.. it bothers him that his baby brother has more rings than him.. or Big Ben has more. and Brady.. is his arch enemy.. He cant stand the fact , the Chargers own him n the playoffs or regular season.. The idea Mathews is hurt.. may mean the bolts may turn to the passing game to control the clock,. But my guess mathews will play and play well and the woodhead and ronnie brown running duo will control the tempo.. The bronco defense plays well when they have a lead.. Everyone is thinking , offense , but I see the Charger defense with Ingraham and Butler and weddle playing Havoc on the Broncos.. Based on the last 4 weeks of the season.. the Bolts have the best defense in the tourney and have the longest winning streak next to the niners.. I see Redemption for the Bolts to beat the Broncos and go on to beat the Patriots - pay back for 2007 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP LOSS AND FACE THE NINERS IN THE SUPERBOWL.. AND GET REVENGE FOR THE 1994 SUPERBOWL LOSS TO THE NINERS.. and finally erase the curse and ghosts of the past.. DESTINY? more like the recipe and formula for success and having the real McCoy as our coach.. NFL stands for NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. Its been that kind of a year.. Nothing has been sure bet.. and because of that.. Why not.. ? In America,, youths especially the ones in the 70's and 80-s WERE honored to see and drive some of the most classic cars of all times.. Its funny, when i was this young teenage , Van Halen listening , keg drinking guy from Cali.. I thought that those cars would be there forever..?? I mean why not.. The Mustangs , Camaro's Challengers , Chevelles'.. etc WERE the best cars ever.. I recall driving my neighbors BOSS MUSTANG..I was forever hooked on Muscle Cars.. I dreamed one day I would get one.. I mean my classmates were driving them.. Why not me? Well parents.. Mama were scared to death for me to own one.. So destiny... forbearance.. or what... I never owned one... Until I retired from the US NAVY.. and my beautiful wife said one day.. Lets do it.. I mean buy that Dream Muscle car as your retirement gift.. Well.. The problem was.. what Muscle Car to buy.. the Iconic Mustang that is seen everywhere , or the Camaro.. with the release of the Transformer movies.. or the Challenger that I saw on FAST FIVE AND SIX.. you guys remember... so.. off to test drives.. No doubt .. The Mustang was the faster . smoothest and electrifying car to drive.. It just felt like a race car and felt like you were the boss.. but.. I still had the Camaro to test drive.. man.. that was fun too.. But i felt like somethings missing.. I wasn't totally wooed.. or what.. so on a rainy St Patricks day 2012.. I finally got into a Suped up Black . with red hash marks stripes Dodge 2012 Challenger.. Like i said it was rainy and roads were slick.. but after driving and sliding all around the so call race track in temecula parkway.. I was hooked.. I said this is it.. It had the power , styling and room , back seat and truck space I desired and wanted.. It was fast, powerful and smooth. It had a cruiser like feel , but a pedal to metal feel when you wanted it.. and since then.. the looks and aw,, and attention I have or should I say My car gets is uplifting...
I get thumbs up at dept stores and the streets.. Its really uplifting that People love Muscle cars.. But here in Socal .. people love cars,, and muscle cars have that extra hook , everyone loves.. Its like looking at a woman with nice curves in the right spaces and great front and rear ends and of course great performance.. Its something I enjoy everytime I start up beauty,, she revs up with that muscle car sound and roars down the road with pride.. But what makes me laugh or smile,, is when these guys in regular rice burner cars or throw a away cars and try to race by me.. really? come on people.. can you just admire American muscle without trying to tempt me.. ?? Its a daily thing I go through , but its fun, because its the it factor that this car has.. People feel threatened or they feel they need to show me something. If anything it just shows me your insecure dreamer that needs to get REAL.. but ITS OK.. I know i have a bad ass car , as my old friend Al,, calls it.. I know what i have and I am proud of it.. No need to prove myself,, But at times. I let it rip.. especially after cops pull over someone. I push it up 120 and above. I know.. that's fast.. well if you have a regular car,, it is.. But this car can go fast,, and get there quickly.. so there..
Before I go I want to pay tribute to Paul Walker the FAST AND FURIOUS STAR,, I want to say my condolences to his family , friends and many fans.. I really dig his movies.. Ever since I saw the first of the movies , while I was stationed in Japan.. I said,, I will get a muscle car before my life is done.. and now that I have it.. I'm enjoying every minute and second I drive the muscle car machine..I know .. Its a risk to drive fast and I'm not going to lie.. I speed many more times than I should. But if you had the power and torque that this car has.. You would too.. Black beauty not only looks good , but performs even better. So if you should see me around cruising around San Diego , Temecula,,, etc.. wave and smile.. because behind the tinted windows is a happy guy from SOCAL.. ENJOYING HIS DREAM CAR,, that my dream girl.. wife bought for,,,me.. I'm blessed to have her and beauty in my life and my family that seems to love the many blogs, pictures and family outings.. with beauty as the Star.. You cant define when a ride has it,, But based on the smiling faces and thumbs up I get whenever I take her for a spin.. BEAUTY not only has it , but she already ready to show it!!!! So to speak... Americans love their cars and I'm no different .. THE SAN DIEGO CHARGERS STRIKE DOWN THE BENGALS.. I know the Chargers are not supposed to be here or there.. They got lucky , they won four in row and the Ravens and Dolphins collapsed and choked at the end of the season.. I know the Chokers , opps Chargers always lose in the clutch or prime time.. know the ghost or curses of chargers past always rears its ugly head.. But guess what.. ? The Bolts are winning and finding ways to win.. pretty , physical,,, tough minded football.. The Bolts used to be the aerial circus that would score alot and give up alot of points and win some and lose more.. But guess what? That was before... and this is now..
Now.. The Chargers have a smart , accurate and tough minded quarterback that can wn it alone, or be a game manager and win the game by calling the right plays and keeping the ball from other offenses.. The chargers best defense is their offense.. I know the Bolts were horrible in the beginning of the season. But guess what folks.. Its not how you start , it's how you finish.. and the bolts and the 49ers have the longest active winning streak for a reason??
They both can run and be physical.. they have play makers at the tight end and wide out position. They both play well against the run and hold team down in scoring points.. and most of all they play as a team.. They both help one another , whether its blocking, tackling or running with the ball. They get it done.. Bottom line.. the final score is the only stats that count.. Not how many yards you gain, or catches or what? Its scoring points and the chargers , do that score points,. eliminate turnovers and now produce turnovers so the offense can do their things..
But the experts say. the chargers are lucky, shouldn't be there, don't have the talent and don't have the toughness.. Well.. Folks,, the chargers are changing their identity and playing tough playoff style football.. They are physical on both lines of scrimmage,and are the most healthy and confident.. They play as a team and they have nothing to lose.. I mean,, everyone expects them to be one and done,. well.. they have a shot in beating and defeating the broncos and the great manning.. Not because of great players,, but team play.. all 53 players know their roles and they do their jobs.. No one is outstanding or household names.. But they are playing great team football. That's the formula for success, its shows,, the team that plays the best team football. offense , defense and special teams play a past in winning games.. Every game has ebbs and flows.. and sometimes you have to wait and choose when yo strike,, teams get tired and worn out when they try to impose their wills against stacked defenses,, the chargers pick and peck their ways through games and use the running game to finally wear you down.. Like the last scoring td,, the number 3 defense gave up against the old man Ronnie Brown.. Why? They were mentally finished, besides , dalton was their qb and we all know what he does in the playoffs.. lose like romo.. andy romo anyone..? Mean, , but that's the NFL.. THE NO FAIR LEAGUE.NOTHING FOR LOSERS.. I know the chargers are 40-1 long shots to win it all, But guess what? The NFL is a no figure league,, did anyone think the Ravens would win it all? I doubt it,,. But they got hot and their defense got it together... like the chargers,,.. they can run and pass and play good defense,, and based on the playoff games played have the best defense.... let's not forget the bengals were undefeated ate home 8-0.. and had the number 3 ranked defense inte the NFL.. just AFC , but the entire league.. and to be honest played very well , but they were manhandled by the pass and run blockers of the Chargers. they shoved them around turned the bengal tigers into more like cats... football is simple. who blocks , tackles and score more points than the other guys.. There is no special formula for success.. its brutal , basic hard nose football,, and to be honest,,.on the AFC side,, the Bolts play the best balanced , physical in your face football.. which the Patriots , Broncos don't play.. The Colts are a physical team and may upset the Patriots if the Brady is not on.. But for the Chargers.. keep it going and keep shocking the world.. Because it doesn't matter what we think ot others think,. Its important what Coach McCoy , and the Chargers think and feel.. Bottom line.. the chargers are winning in that playoffs the old fashion way with physical running and strong defense against the run.. and of course great special teams.. They have the recipe for success and the Chef is Rivers is Playing like never before!!! The Chargers are powered up and ready to shock the world many more times... We have the real McCoy and its working like Lady Luck has been riding with us all season long.. A new Era for San Diego Charger football and its going to be fun for years to come!!!

The Niners are a storied and proud team.. they have owned the packers the last few year. Why? The Packers have trouble stopping the run.. Gore , hunter and Kaepernick have run wild. The fact clay Mathews is out.. makes the packers even less effective.. The Packers are going to have their hands full,, cold weather or not.. maybe thats why fans have not turned out for this team.. I know all of the games have been close.. but this will be a blow out and a beat down. The niners will run , pass and kicj their ways to a easy road win and make a statement , that they are for real.. They are built to win it all..
The Packers have rodgers , but I don't think he can duplicate the miracle he performed at Chicago.. The niners have a strong defense and a suffocating pass rush.. Rodgers is going to find out early this will be a tough game , and if he doesnt put points , his defense will be gounded and pounded but the more talented and tough power running team.. I don't see the packers winning and I dont see this being a competitive game.. Their is a reason they only won 8 game this year , they don't have a good defense and the nibers will exploit and embarass the packers at home.. Look for Gore and Boldin having big days,, and Kaepernick running all over that packer defense.. My bold blow out prediction.. The niners win easily...

THE BENGALS are undefeated at home and defense has steeped up to help the inconsistent Dalton. The key for the Bengals more running game less Dalton and rely on that tough defense. The past couple of years they have put too much pressure on the young and unproven Dalton. If they want to win.. ground and pound that charger defense that couldn't stop them earlier this year. Sure the Bolts were missing some players. Johnson and Ingraham,.. But still, they were able to run and win the time possession game ,, in essence they beat the bolts at their own game at the their own arena.. The Bengals were dominating at home ,,But guess what? Its playoff time and Dalton and Coach Lewis are winless in playoff games.. This is all mental.. They must play well early and get that mental fog out of their minds.. Play their game and they should win a close one..
The Chargers have had one of the most amazing , heart wrenching , gut punching season ever.. But they showed character and overcame adversity only a strong team can.. Coach McCoy built this team for this moment.. The strong power run game and short passing game is built for snow and rain.. They also play strong against the run and have avoided big play td's.. they well have to play well to keep the bolts in the game.. Turnovers was they key to them losing tot he Bengals.. they must prevent that and make Dalton nervous,, put pressure and make him throw picks.. if that happens.. the bolts have a chance. But the bolts must play another mistake free game , like they did against the broncos , chiefs and giants as they closed out their season..
My prediction.. it will be a hard tough game with ,limited times to score.. the team with less turnovers and score when they hot the red zone will win this game.. The bolts played well last time and were able to run or throw the ball.. gates and Allen were doing well. but all of them fumbled in the red zones and took points of the board.. The bolts need to play their game and hope Dalton gets his playoff mental fogs.. Its a tough thing to do,, that is win a Cincy,.but I feel this team has the mind set and the better quarterback with playoff experience to win a close , nail biting game,,, the way chargers love to do.. Watch for the Bengals to ground and pound and look deep to take advantage of the so-s- corners and watch rivers spread the wealth and Mathews have another bruising game and elevate the chargers to a unexpected win and make the experts reconsider what's going on with the Chargers. Looks can be deceptive and the bolts are going to shock the world.. that team work and great team chemistry will overcome home field advantage , talent and history .. Its not how you start a season, its how you end and right now the chargers are winning , and finding ways to win.. Look for Allen and gates to take advantage of the Bengals tendency to play man to man and Mathews running hard to control the clock and protect a lead.. Its should be a nail-biting , stress filled game for both fans,, until late in the game when the bolts pulling away with time consuming drive , with Allen or gates catching a late td to secure a upset win.. Football is a simple sport , for those of us that played youth football , high school etc.. They know .. not the fastest , strongest or the most talented teams win championships,, I rather take a team of players with great work ethic and desire over a bunch of ego , talented , athletic freaks.. Charger fans recall 2006 , the greatest charger team ever? Guess what,, they were loaded , but they were also overloaded with ego , selfish players that cost them a game they should of won. But guess what? Its over and it makes me laugh when experts say based on stats,, history.. But in the NFL.. NOT FOR LONG.. EVERY YEAR EACH team is different,, case in point,, The SUPERBOWL CHAMPION RAVENS , didn't make the playoffs. The Niners were killing people last year,, this year. they have been great , but not the number one seed.. Like i mentioned many times in past sports articles.. Its the team with the most health of its players , and has the best running game and run defense and of course a proven , consistent and strong minded quarterback..
case in point.. The Chargers are big underdogs, based on losing to the Bengals at home, based on the Bengals have not lost a regular season game. They are the best red zone team in the league and have one of the most talented receiver in the game AJ GREEN..
But they have a unpredictable quarterback in dandy Andy Dalton.. He is good when he is good , but is horrible when he is horrible.. Its a good thing they have a good defense , or this team could easily have a losing record.. But Dalton is 0-2 in the playoffs and the Bengals having won a playoff game since 1988.. Man that's a long time ago,, But then again,.. Its the culture of winning that's important in the locker room.. The Bengals are looking for a win and they will feel the pressure, being big favorites.. The Bolts are truly wild cards, no expected them to have a winning season , or make the playoffs,,heaven forbid win a playoff game. But the chargers can and will be dangerous. they have nothing to lose. look at the fake punts they converted or 4th down plays this year.. Mike McCoy is gutsy and take chances,. unlike Nervous Norv,, it takes more than talent , stats and relying on trends to coach a nfl team.. Its takes guts and belief.. and this team believes in one another and plays as a team,. They now each others roles and play it like champions.. They are winning at crunch time and imposing their wills on other teams. I love the balance of passing and running and playing sound defense,,. forget about the early season blunders or one or two blown plays,, because as of now,, everyone is 0-0.. and you must win to go on..
Its going to rain or snow this Sunday , but guess what? This charger team is prepared for that, they have a sound running game , a short passing game and a stout run defense and a quarterback that has won in the playoffs and was a game away from a Superbowl appearance back in 2007. But this a new season and and anything is possible. The bolts have beaten teams in the playoffs, the chiefs and broncos , and colts. That's should give the bolts the mindset we can play with any team in the tourney.. The key for the chargers is Ryan Mathews,, he must run physical and be effective on the pass game,. ball control and limiting the Bengals scoring chances,, so the bolts need long drives with tds.. that's the key.. they also need to get pressure on Dalton and hope they can get turnovers.. But I place the main responsibility on the offense.. Ball control, time of posession and scoring tds. like they have been doing last 4 games.. Especially the Broncos game,, that was classic charger football this year..The bolts are playing with no pressure , a true wild card entry and true scary offensive team.. Jump to a lead and defense will play better and stay true to their identity and the bolts will shock the world again... I know they don't have a chance ,, but they have proven the experts wrong when they had a winning season , and made the playoffs,, they shocked the world when they beat the Broncos on prime time tv at Denver.. they dominated the mighty colts at San Diego,,,, beat down the high flying eagles in philly this year and defeated the 1 and 2nd stringers of the chiefs,.. if anything ,, it proves the chiefs backups are better than the the first team.. they have been losing after starting 9-0..NFL is a no figure league.. anyone can win and the past decade we have seen teams do the unthinkable.. its not the best talented team that wins it all.. Its the healthiest , hottest , and team effort teams with quality quarterback play that win the big game. Its a team game.. Superbowl winners are won by team play , not who has the best quarterback,,. right Tom Brady , Peyton Manning,,, these greats have lost Superbowls or playoff games against teams that
had inferior quarterbacks,, because teams WITH great team play and chemistry.. usually carry through over overly talented , ego laced teams.. football is played on the field , not on paper.. There is some things you cant measure like , team chemistry , desire , passion.. The Bolts showed the past 4 weeks they can overcome adversity and fight on..
My prediction in Cincy ,, Thunder and lightening strikes, with a angel in rookie sensation Keenan Allen.. we will see a hyped up team that has a qb that has won the payoffs and is having the season of his career.. Why? Because we have the Real McCoy that has produced results with the best season ever by Rivers and Ryan Mathews and Allen breaking Chargers rookie records.. This team is better than we think and some Sunday in the rain or snow.. The New Bolts will finally break the charger curse and make this year a year to remember.. 20 years ago.. the Bolts made a unpredictable run to the superbowl.. and I just feel the same about this team.. Not the most talented team in the NFL. but they are playing with the most chemistry and love for one another. They will do what needs to be done and they will make San Diego proud ,, so get set to sweat and cheer on the Bolts.. They are on a mission... and for the naysayers,, let them talk,. and watch their faces when the bolts get it done,, Man.. is it game time yet.Im ready!!

Happy New Year to all my face book, blogger , twitter , email , friends out there. I wish you all a happy and prosperous new years..
Now ,, I know every year its a tradition to make resolutions , predictions , etc.. But the best thing you can do for yourself this new years is to forget the last year , or the past.. Its done , it over.. The sayings like , well stats say , or history says.. forget that.. You make your own stats , your own history.. don't be a history reader , be a history maker, don't just sit around and watch life go by.. Be a part of life.. be with people you like and so things you like to do,, Life is too short to be a phony or pretend to like something,, not only is that a waste of time , but useless.,Because people want to be around people they can feel comfortable with.. don't force yourself. that's a lesson i learned this past year, You cant force anyone to like or love you, you can'y please everyone , and this year I plan to me.. which is at times over the top,, at times moody ,, at times sentimental and at times too strict on myself and others. But this is a new year and my goals this year is simple..
1) Be Myself and do things I love to do. be with family, drive my muscle car, dance , write ..
2) Take care of business, myself mentally , physically , emotionally, take time out each day for all of those aspects.. minutes a day will do wonders for myself and a good thing for all of us to take into account.. If you don't use your mind or body , it becomes fat and lazy.. You must work on all those aspects daily...
3) Lastly, be more respectful to people and their attitudes,, lets face it everyone has their own ideas and thoughts, some like to advice ,even though they have crappy relationships and others advise about money , even though they don't have anything. Everyone thinks they know it all.. But we all know only God knows it all. And for those including myself.. Must understand... we are just human and we can only do what God wants us to do,,, Put faith in him,, I know I do,, That's why I do so well on Football Polls and predictions, Games are not won , just by stats,, heart desire , team work,. also play a part and those things cant be measured..
Happy New year to everyone and be happy , because only you can dictate what makes you happy , faith , belief and love will carry you though the rough times.. A true test of character is how someone reacts under stressful times,, A true champion , never gives up and fight on.. So fight on and never give up and oh yes.. But just remember its just a game and always respect everyone .. nothing wrong with trash talk during the game. but once the game is over..
