   First of all , I respect the older generation, at times I wish I grew up during different times.. Simpler times so to speak.. I mean I hear my uncles at parties retell about their days.. Like drag racing , cruising.. dating , hitchhiking or  even just hanging out.. Back in the day it seems men were men and women were women.. They understood their roles and handled it.. Today is so much different, the tech age and the info age has made my generation and the future so inpatient , so dependent on info or social media.. If they don't get the info quickly,, they think they are behind the curve? Really is it really that urgent , you have to text or talk on the phone going 80 MPH , while combing your hair and eating that California burrito? No,, I don't think so,, and Thank God the COPS issue tickets for that.. Safety people.. I get so annoyed when I see people do that.. But like life itself,, You go on and do what you have to do.. As for me.. I'm trying to find myself in relation to the world.. I know I'm moody and at times hard to figure, but that's the curse of a Artist.. That's the issue with Creative people.. Creative people are moody , funny, upsetting, weird and above all fascinating.. But regardless we need those types to keep people honest ,, and anyways who wants to read a boring blog from an accountant anyways.. 
 But back to my point... Today is so hard for us youths.. We are expected to be young and full of life , but then society expects or demands that we know everything .. Like Computer literacy , technical gadgets.. Microsoft programs.. Gaming.. how to deal with stress? How to work under time constraints.. Save money , make money , investing, etc.. Its enough to make people go nuts.. and from the sound of things on news programs.. People are doing that..Youths today are so caught up with how people perceive them.. But you know what? If they don't pay you or helping you succeed in life.. I don't need them.. I've always been a loner.. good or bad.. but its the way I roll.. I often times get upset with the group or mob mentality.. What about being an individual or a person. I admire my uncles in the Austria and  Paras clan.. They are truly unique and have personality.. They don't follow trends or care for them.. They love what they do... Play instruments, dance , drive muscle cars.. Talk shit. but back up what they say.. or another pet peeve about today's youth.. They talk alot , but don't deliver.. They hide behind computer screens and talk shit.. but in person , they are quiet as a mouse.. phony ass people.. I like people that speak their minds in person.. and don't give a shit if you are offended or what.. if you don't like it.. walk away.. don't engage.. !! back to my old days point.. back in the day as my Uncle Mel would say.. If you had a gripe , you fought, beat each other up , then shake hands and drink a beer ... and drag race down Palm Ave.. man.. those were the days I imagine.. but since I was born way too late.. I have to deal with today's pressures as a youth growing up in fast pace American life..  
 Life right now is tough , high unemployment , tremendous competition for jobs.. lack of jobs or careers in the states.. high inflation,, higher taxes, fast paced , over crowding.. etc.. The youth today are faced with a variety of issues that my elders didn't deal with.. Sure they worked hard and they had to earn everything they got.. But they had the opportunity to do so.. Today is so competitive , so cut throat , so pressure filled.. But I go on,, I wake up. and face the realities of life.. I study hard, work hard and prepare myself for life's journeys.. as for relationships.. yeah.. I don't like dishonest and unreliable people.. so my mind says focus on whats important?? But My heart says,, follow that skirt.. and lest have fun.. Yea,,, its tough to be a youth in today's world.. But atleast I'm trying and that's all you can ask.. Mistakes ,, yes, I make them.. but I'm hoping I don't keep repeating them like some of my relatives are doing.. if something or someone is not right.. Walk away and start a new.. But Everyone , including myself.. Have to deal with our life decisions.. or no decisions.. Sometimes not doing anything can be just as harmful as doing something.. Peace out and take care my friends and be there for family and friends.. Life as a youth .. its tough.. But I'm a tough guy... and when the going gets tough the tough get going!!!

SAINTS AT FALCONS- The saints cant run, but use the screen pass very well. But The falcons unlike the Chargers find ways to win.. At home , with Tony G.. who has big days against that charger like secondary.. Brees will make it close but Falcons are one of the elites. Big day for falcons!

JAGUARS AT BILLS- The jags like the Bills are the mystery teams of the NFL.. But at home in cold weather I like the Bills running game , out pounding the passing game of the jags..
SEAHAWKS AT BEARS-The jay Cutler effect , with Jay the Bears are one of the elites,., without them they suck.. The seahawks play well and have tons of youth and enthusiasm.. But its the final stretch and separation form the rest of the NFL.. The Bears are playing better defense with Jay at the helm.. I expect a hard hitting , ow scoring game won on by the Bears in the cold , frigid temps of the Chicago town!!
49ERS AT RAMS- The Niners are reborn with Kapernick.. He has spark and like dein sanders stated on NFL network, they the niners are responding to this young and talented QB.. I know Alex Smith has won alot of games and has played better. But with Kaper.. I see the niners winning it all!! Mrk my word.. Niners win easily on the road..
CARDINALS AT JETS- What happened to the Cards? At one point they look like a play off team.. Now they look like a turn off team.. The Jets still have pride and Mark Sanchez feels the pressure.. The Jets need Sanchez to play well.. When that happens , their defense responds.. I see a easy win at home for the NEW YORK JETS..
COLTS AT LIONS- The Colts look like the playoff team they once were a couple years back.. Wow what a difference a year makes with a quality mobile QB.. LISTENING CHARGER MANAGEMENT..
VIKINGS AT PACKERS-The Packers were embarrassed last week by the Giants.. But alot of injuries on the defensive side.. They will need help going down the stretch.. They need to bounce back ,, I see a hard fought , close game with division rivals.. aaron Rodgers will have a big day!!
TEXANS AT TITANS- The Texans are for real.. They can pass and rn at will. but that defense is ququestionable but against the Chris Johnson led team.. I see them having enough to win a hard hitting game.. I don't expect a blowout.. But I see a steady , and decisive win for the the AFC's best team..
PANTHERS AT CHIEFS- Its the do affect.. that is the Chiefs are due for a win.. They have played better defense , but that damn offense needs to get going.. Cassel will manage a win at home and bring happiness to Chiefs fans atleast for a week.. The Panthers are rebuilding and still figuring out things.. Cam Newton is good , but the rest of the team is inconsistent.. I'm somewhat shocked how poorly the defense has played.. Ron Rivera ..what happened? I see the Panthers doing well early than fade at the end..Sound familiar-- Charger fans.. ?
BUCS AT BRONCOS- The broncos with Peyton Manning is a legit contending team and their defense is playing like they are capable of.. They make stops and when the pressure is on they step up and finish games.. ? Manning is having one of his best seasons ever...? Didnt he almost retire because of numerous neck surgeries? Bucs are playing well, but too young and inexperienced to travel cross country and at Mile high , playing a Legend.. Too much too ask for anyone.. I see the Broncos continue their winning ways and finally clinch the AFC WEST,,.,.Earlier than any other team in the NFL..
BROWNS AT RAIDERS- a tie// it could happen. both teams play so much alike,, but I hate to say it.. But the raiders are playing good football.. Better than the Chargers and with this win , They will be tied with the Chargers.. I see Mcfadden having a big day and the defense having a penalty filled game.. Wow.. I predicted all the AFC WEST TEAMS TO WIN THIS WEEK.. WELL ALMOST,,,,??
BENGALS AT CHARGERS- The Bengals have the best offense in the AFC NORTH and a one of the better defenses in the North division. They had a Field day against the raiders after that controversial call. The Bengals are talented and balanced,, They have a better passing and running game and making that final run for  one of the wild card spots.. The Bolts are a mess,. they cant hold leads. or finsig games.. They CANT..play 60 minutes of football and their Coach gets out coached by any coach in the league.. Turner has no clue to motivate this team and it shows.. 4th and 29.. with 1;29 left in the game. and you let the,, yes. let them make that play.. I don't see the Chargers winning another game with NERVOUS NORV.. 4-29 must as well be what the future record the Bolts will have.. They are predictable./.. predictably bad.. pathetic.. Bengals blow out Chargers like the Falcons did earlier.. The Injury list is mounting on the Bolts.. The quitting has just begun..
STEELERS AT RAVENS- The Ravens even when they play poorly.. like last week.. they still find a way to win.. The Steelers need BIG BEN..I see the Ravens winning easily..and continue on with their playoff run.. Ray Rice is a beast!! ask the Chargers.. !!
SUNDAY NIGHT 
EAGLES AT COWBOYS- The Cowboys are the Chargers of the NFC.. unpredictable. unreliable, and unreal. Romo is battling Rivers for the turnover King.. Rivers didn't throw one last week.. ? But still cant win a game. The Boys will play well , or atleast I think they will. But its more like the eagles like the chargers are playing poorly and have nothing to play for? Well their jobs.. ?
MONDAY NIGHT
GIANTS AT REDSKINS-The Gmen are playing great defense and Manning is on spot .. The Skins are a better team .. with RG3,. But its the late season run. and I like the giants winning a tough road game to keep their momentum.. going into the playoffs.. I see a close , tight , hard hitting and exciting game.. But that Gmen defense can be overpowering!!

I love life and I embrace every living moment I have. Each day I thank GOD , or whoever you may believe is the higher source , that I have another chance to live. Its not always the big things that make life so special. Its the simple things like listening to birds chirp , or smelling scents from plants or the fresh ocean breeze or mountain air.. Its the simple walks in the morning, and eating your favorite breads or beverage... 
 The simple pleasures like doing what you love to do.. reading , writing, exercising.. performing. Talking.. singing.. you name it if you have a passion for that . Just do it. 
 I feel too many people get too caught up in, I need someone to love. or something to love.. If you really enjoy life. YOU ARE HAPPY TO BE ALIVE.. Not everyone is destined for marriage or relationships.. Some of us.. Like to be alone.. Not alone , like be in a cave and hide out. But just be open and free,.., To be in a relationship is so hard,. you have to deal with moods. personnas. likes dislikes. etc.. and believe me just because you are married for years. Don't you think people get tired or bored with someone.. That's why? Everyone must have a passion, something that they love to do and do it because its an expression of oneself.. 
 To express yourself honestly.. as Bruce Lee would say.. Its the glory of life.. We need to know oneself before we can know others.. We must love thy self, before you can love another human.. Its tough, for alot of us.. I see alot of my friends who are still caught up in party life.. the drinking life style. the drug culture.. then there is others that are caught up in reckless life passions.. Fast and wild driving.. binge drinking.. uncontrolled egos and tempers.. But that's the beauty of life.. We are all searching for the perfect day.. I haven't lived that day yet and if I do.. Human nature says. I want another one .. That's the key to life and being happy. Always look for something better and be better, and once you have achieved it.. Try to out do that// When someone is content to stagnant.. Your not living life , you are just going through the motions.. 
 I'm afraid to die.. so that's why I live every day likes it my last.. I appreciate all that my family and friends do.. I'm not saying I don't get upset wit them or frustrated.. I do.. we all do.. But we move on and we keep living// Live life.. enjoy the small pleasures in life.. Don't get caught up in material things.. Get caught up with making someone smile or be happy. Help someone!! These are simple theories, but many of us neglect or don't care. As for myself.. I try to be as true and honest about myself and my thoughts as possible.. That way.. I'm satisfied that I lived my life as I thought it and believe it.. Nothing in life is easy.. If you want great things like A Happy Marriage , successful career or monetary stability... Its takes steps each day and goals to aspire for.. Too many people just say I want this or that? But no action is taken. No plan.. In life everyday is a journey and each of us has to make plans to achieve whatever goals you may want.. By living by moment to moment and relying on your emotions is a dangerous and often unproductive way to live,..

 Its the final season of Nervous Norv,, more like 3 seasons too late... I never liked him and never will.. I mean he is the NFLS worst head coach.. and his offensive play calling are questionable.. ?/
 Now enter a New regime , a new Beginning.. A new Vibe and attitude.. !
Enter Mr. Jon " chucky Gruden.. Yes, I know he's a commentator , and he getting paid loads of money , but I feel everytime he speaks or talks about football. I see the itch, I see the enthusiasm for coaching again. He's still young and I also think they are doubters out there about his legacy. Sure he won a SUPERBOWL with the TB BUCS.. but it helped he was playing his former Team the Oakland Raiders and he knew their offense.. What a break? To know the terminology and the players tendencies.. In fact the Bucs should of scored 100 PTS THAT DAY../ But back to my point.. People , experts believe that's the reason he won that SUPERBOWL.. 
 Well, what better way to take a perennial loser team, with so many disappointments and misery to their die hard fans.. What better way to become a Hero , a legacy , than to take the Charger Curse and win a SUPERBOWL.. He would erase the doubts about his first championship and he would create a legacy in SAN DIEGO OR SOCAL area ,.. than to finally bring that Lombardi Trophy home.. The City would go nuts and He would be worshiped like no other San Diego celebrity.. He would be the man.. So , Jon. Please consider my plea, The City is awesome , we have Championship weather all year long , we have beaches.. Blacks beach in la Jolla if you like Nudity./. We Have Surfing beaches like La Jolla, Ocean beach,. Imperial Beach .. we have a diverse area, Tacos , Sushi. Chow Mein. Lumpia, Pizza, you name it we have it.. Malls, Parks, race tracks, Great life style.. and great people.. The people of San Diego would enbrace you and cheer you like no other Coach in history.. I know everyone thinks Rivers is done.. But we all know he needs a offensive line and a Running back that stays healthy/. The defense is young and coming and the City is ready to support a Winner! I mean The Fans have been coming out faithfully , despite the world worst head coach.. Your a leader of men, Your a teacher , a mentor.. Your electric and over the top Personna would fit in with the frightening Lightening Bolts.. Like the Uniforms you are like a Real Life SUPER HERO. and your the final piece to the Charger Puzzle.. You would be welcome and I know deep down inside you want to do something special and that has never been done.. ? Like bring a loser team into the limelightht and become a SUPERBOWL POWER HOUSE!! Time is right and I'm sure The Spanos family is ready for a complete overhaul and change and I believe you could be that person that could have duo powers of GM and Head Coach.. and Hire the best assistants and potential head coaches when you do your mission statement.. " To win a SUPERBOWL FOR THE SAN DIEGO CHARGERS and establish a steady and respectable franchise with a rich traditon of winning and providing a environment where future NFL stars would love to come and blossom as Great NFL SUPERSTARS.. The days of " I wont play for San Diego  , will be a statement from the past.. Chucky, its the time to make that decisive move and make your legacy even stronger.. Don't worry,, You can always go back to broad casting after your 6 - 10 year stint as San Diego Charger Coach.. By that time You will be the legend beyond legends with your multiple CHAMPIONSHIPS AND MVPS FOR RIVERS AND CO..
 Lastly , I want you to strongly consider my plea and Give San Diego a Chance.. Stay Classy san Diego.. We are trying.. but we need a strong kick ass persona to get us to the promise land.. I know you have tremendous pride and ambition! What a better way to eliminate all the doubters and haters and on your own terms.. develop and build that Jon Gruden style football for generation's to love and admire.. and of course copy!!!

 Happy thanksgiving to all! This is the season to be jolly. We all know the reasons and traditions of Thamksgiving.. BUT. I would like to share this year what I'm grateful for..
 I'm grateful for having a wonderful and loving wife that has supported me for over 20 years of my life. I'm grateful for my two wonderful boys that keep me young and strong by challenging me with hard workouts and playing.. \
 I'm thankful for completing my faithful service in the United States Navy and my rebirth so to speak to return to school and  focus on my next chapter in life.. Raising and guiding my kids for College and career paths. 
 Lastly, I'm thankful everyday , the Almighty one gives me another day to do what I love to do daily.. Live , be happy and pursue my many intererest like. Working out , reading , writing, acting. spending time with family and of course driving my Dream Machine " Black Beauty!!.. The many memories I have with family and friends are amazing and my many exploits that I share about Black Beauty is extremely entertaining.. and stressful at the same time.. I'm wishing all MY family and friends a Happy Thanksginving a Happy Holidays!! Take care always.. and Be thankful for whatever makes you happy!!

TEXANS AT LIONS- Schuab , Foster and Johnson could be very well the best Trio since the Big 3 that want SUPERBOWLS for Americas Team in the 90's.. The Texans find ways to win, win other units are struggling and they are exciting tot watch.. The Lions are not what we thought they were a year ago.. I see a exciting offensive show, But the Texans are the new America's team..
REDSKINS AT COWBOYS- The Boys find ways to lose, they are the Chargers of the NFC.. Romo , or Rivers they find ways to give games away.. At home they will be distracted by being at home and being in that circus palace in Dallas.. The Redskins and RG3 put on a show !!
PATRIOTS AT JETS- Mark Sanchez put on a show last week, but I don't see that happening again. The Pats are getting prepped for their traditional run to the playoffs and Tom Brady and co will execute a great game plan and win this game going away..
SUNDAY
VIKINGS AT BEARS- The Bears need a win and Jay Cutler needs to get out of his traditional late season funk, Forte and Marshall are as good as any offensive duo in the league, but Cutler needs to get focused and make that final run. The Vikes have the games beast running back in AP , and their defense is formidable. But the Bears at home , late in the year under adverse conditions.. I love the DA BEARS AT HOME..
RAIDERS AT BENGALS- The Bengals have a talent on both sides of the ball and I see The RED RIFLE ANY DALTON having a big day against the questionable secondary of the Raiders, The Raiders , like thier Charger rivals make too many mistakes and bone headed plays to win on a road against a quality AFC contending team..
STEELERS AT BROWNS- The Steelers are not as good as yesteryear , too many injuries on the defensive side and Big Ben is hurting too. But they have enough to beat divison rival in a classic slig fest with the steelers winning a close , hard hitting slug fest..
BILLS AT COLTS- Andrew Luck is just that.. A lucky man to be on a contending team with  good players and a tradition of winning!! I like Luck having a big day and keeping the Colts playoff chances alive and well.
BRONCOS AT CHIEFS- Peyton Manning is having one of his greatest years and the Chiefs are not. The Broncos are the class of the AFC west if not the whole AFC .. They playing great offense and defense and they are rolling. The Chiefs like the Chargers make too many mistakes and have a quarterback that makes more completions to the other team .. Broncos win decisively!!
SEAHAWKS AT DOLPHINS- The Dolphins are fighting for a playoff berth and have a must win scenario,, They will win these close and exciting game of the week.
FALCONS AT BUCCANEERS- The FALCONS find ways to win, thats what championship teams do. This could be the year for the Dirty birds.. The Bucs are playing good ball , but don't have enough play makers to stop or keep up with Turner, Gonzalez, and Matt Ryan. The Falcons continue to run to the playoffs!!
TITANS AT JAGUARS- Two bad teams and I see a exciting shoot out , because both defense are hurt and beat up. The offenses will have many opportunities to score and will take advantage of it..
RAVENS AT CHARGERS- The Ravens are one of the best teams in the AFC, sure they not as good on the road , but this year is different , They are playing great football. Joe Flacco seems to have figured out to win consistentlyy especially on the road.. The Chargers are in trouble. Poor offensive line, a quarterback that is gun shy, and getting tackled more than Ryan Mathews, oh does he still play football? Norv turner last chance to save his job, but he doesnt have the consistent play makers or veterans like the past.. No late season winning streak this year, another frustrating loss at home.
RAMS AT CARDINALS - The Cardinals will go out and win this tight close game. Use running game and get the ball to Fitgerald.. A tough divisional game ..
49ERS AT SAINTS- Drew Brees is having another great year , the defense is not.. The Niners are primed to win THE nfc west AND PERHAPS the conference title.. The switch at quarterback is geuis by my favorite Coach Harbaugh.. Its a business, and the Niners mean it this year.. The niners  monster defense and great running game , will beat down the saints.. and make that statement to the league ,, The Niners are for real!!
SUNDAY NIGHT
PACKERS AT GIANTS - Whats going on with Eli and the Giants, I see issues with defense and offensive consistency.. The Packers are playing lights out football and based on how well they are playing this late in the year I see them pounding out a well executed game plan, and mistake free,. That formula will serve them well this week and in the playoffs..
MONDAY NIGHT 
PANTHERS AT EAGLES - The battle of two losing teams.. Who wins? True toss up game.. The pressure is on both teams. alot of changes could take place after the season. It looks like the eagle defense is giving up .. Not good for Vick who is struggling. Its Prime time and I see the eagles making that last stand to win.. But don't expect a pretty game../ Vick will have a pretty good game ..finally. but so will Cam Newton.. This could be a battle of who makes the least mistakes and I think at home, the eagles will pull out a close , hard hitting football game..

DOLPHINS AT BILLS-Two division rivals,. anything is possible.. The fins are fighting for that wild card spot and the Bills are still fighting thing.. I see a a rough and tough game won by the home team,a close tight game..

CARDINALS AT FALCONS- The falcs finally get knocked off. This will be a reality game for them, I see them playing a more balanced game , getting their Running game going with Michael Turner.. The Cards are struggling and playing one of the best teams in the league on the road after a tough loss.. Expect the Falcs to be fired up !
BROWNS AT COWBOYS- The Browns are a low profile , hard hitting team.. they could upset the Cowboys, but I don't see it.. The boys are under alot of stress and pressure to win.. I see them putting on a show for the fans and the media..
PACKERS AT LIONS- The Pack is back and so are the Lions.. But the Packers just play a better balanced brand of football. Look for some big plays by both teams. But the packers Superiorr running game and defense will earn them a tough win on the road..
BENGALS AT CHIEFS- The Chiefs played one of their better games last week and still lost. The Bengals have a healthy QB, and a strong defense.. I see the Bengals win this tough close game and the Chiefs suffer another tough loss..
EAGLES AT REDSKINS- The eagles are so unpredictable. Its hard to pick them to win on road.. I see RG3 have a decent day and the Redskins win these hard hitting division rival.. The Mike Vick controversy continues and so doe his erratic play..
BUCCANEERS AT PANTHERS- The Bucs are young and playing well as a team. The panthers are not. The Panthers have to many issues brewing and alot of it starts with their young and outgoing qb,Cam Newton is a very good player , but he needs to trust the others to help him win.. After a tough blow out loss , I see the Panthers have a better effort , but the Bucs are playing so well and have some play makers in Martin and Vincent Jackson, who after a rather humble showing last week.. They are ready to show case their skills.. 
JAGUARS AT TEXANS-The Texans are impressive , they can pass and run at will, and they play as a team.. If the offense struggles, their defense helps them out. The Texans are built to play in cold and snowy weather with their outstanding running game.. and their passing game is one of the games best. I expect a easy win at home and secure their claim as the Best team in the NFL , as of now.. ?
JETS AT RAMS- What happened to the Jets and mark sanchez.. The Jets are struggling in all phases. but Sanchez is still the man. I like Tebow , but the Jets don't have that kind of defense or offensive line to have that Tebow Magic that was in vogue last year.. Expect more tebow.. SAINTS AT RAIDERS- The Saints have a awesome passing game. The Raiders have a awful secondary.. They gave up 55 points to the patriots and the saints offense is better,. Sure its a home game , But its the Raiders.. so expect the Saints to score early often and win this going away..
CHARGERS AT BRONCOS- The game of the week. The battle for the division title and for the chargers head coaches future. The Bolts will find a way.. They have lost four of the last five.. and though they have lost. The defense has played better and the offense is starting to click.. Simple fix.. No turnovers , no penalties at crucial times and a Ryan Mathews running game, controlling the clock and keeping Manning on the bench..  as much as manning plays well , he hates the 3-4 defense and if the bolts can stay in the game I see a close tight , exciting finish , with Rivers finally making that game winning drive that has eluded him all season long.. Put up or shut up this week!!
COLTS AT PATRIOTS- Wow, once upon a time this was a classic match.. and after a year the Colts look like the colts of old. Luck is looking like another Aaron Rodgers , that can throw , run and make plays on the run.. The new style of quarterbacking . you have to be able to pass , and run at times.. The old Dan Marino, Dan Fouts. Philip Rivers style of sit in the pocket an throw to open wide outs are few and fading.. The New breed of Qb PLAY IS .. being versatile and nimble and strong.. I see Tom Brady win this wild shootout!!

RAVENS AT STEELERS - If Big Ben was playing , I like the steelers. But he's hurt and now the pressure is on the Steelers defense to keep the score down. I see the steelers going back to ground and pound , and keep the games low scoring.. The steelers could be in trouble if Big Ben doesn't return soon.. I see the Ravens having too much fire power to lose this game..
MONDAY NIGHT
BEARS AT 49ERS - The 49ers were involved in a tie game.. I don't think I ever saw one or cant recall when that happened.. Its hurts , but I'm sure they will bounce back with a ground and pound attack. The Bears are hurting with Jay cutler recovering from concussion, Or is this his usual,.. late season collapse.. The Bears are good , but with out Cutler on a road game.. I see the niners winning a ugly low scoring game.. and getting back on track.. 
 I have been averaging 9-10 wins a week.. Its been a crazy year , but the teams that have playoff chances are beginning to separate themselves.. and the the rest.. are just playing.. barely.. This could be a make or break week for a few teams like the CHARGERS, SAINTS , BENGALS..

BLACK BEAUTY-- So stressful?

Black Beauty- so stressful?
 I know , My muscle car is a beast and it looks and performs like a champion.. But having it as a daily driver has created some interesting features..
 Like number one gripe from wife I always park far away from other cars and the stores we plan to shop at and on top of that I double car anyways...
Then next gripe is the COPS are always looking at me. pacing me,,, putting lasar radars on me.. How do I know.. ? My scanner and my RADAR DETECTOR never is quiet.. In fact its annoying , because I'm trying to enjoy my state of the art Stereo system. But the price to pay ? Right I wanted the unique Black colored retro Muscle car.. so what I get is what I get right?
oh brother , and lets not forget when I hit the freeways.. I have chicks, dudes , old men.. slow ass cars , trucks tailgating me.. to.. make me. speed up.. Yes.. it seems everyone wants to see Beauty Move.. At first it was fun.. but now its kind of nerve racking..Why? Well when I step on the pedal.. The gas mileage goes down to single digits.. not good when gas is nearly $ 5.00 a gallon... But I said this is my daily driver and since March 2012, St Patricks day.. I have disciplined myself to keep the foot off the pedal.. and just Cruise.. I use the cruise control.. listen to tunes.. and just relax the comfortable Mercedes benz  like suspension  ride..
 Daily driver? Well .. Its fun to drive and its comfortable on those long treks to San Diego or Los Angeles.. But the attention it gets is too much.. I mean.. I get people who speed up to look at Beauty and I get people who slow down too.. I have seen close calls when Beauty drives around town.. and Lets not forget the Nissan Truck that took a longer look than he should of and ran into a another car.. Fender bender , but nevertheless ,.stressful.. In fact My wife says. a cool car but attracts too much attention.. She doesn't like driving it around.. Well to be honest.. Good. Because I love this ride.. I would probably cry if it got into a accident , vandalized or heaven forbid stolen. In my lifetime. I have had probably more attempts of car thefts than most people.. Every Car I have owned with the exception of Japan.. Had signs or were stolen from me.. Why? Maybe because I know how to properly make cars look desirable. The Tinted windows , the awesome waxed and shine paint jobs.. and the flashy shiny tires and wheels.. haha. Now that I think of it.. I have been stressed by most of my cars.. From my Ford Pinto , to my Saturn./ to now with My Dodge Challenger.. in other words it doesn't matter what I drive. People seem to like how I maintain my rides.. 
 But bottom line.. Its stressful.. BUT I love my retro Muscle Car.. I love the way she looks and sounds and performs.. I know she attracts attention , but deep down ,.or not so deep I love attention and I love to show off,.,. Unlike my lovely spouse. I love the attention and I know it makes me alive.. It has been the case when I was a 17 yr old growing up in South San Diego attending the greatest High school in the world.. Montgomery High.. or senior is what they call it now to the times of attending Southwestern and SDSU and partying my brains out , to the 20 years of faithful service in the Military... I always want the spot light,, I want to prove myself,, and have done it mentally , physically,, fights? and of course emotionally through great talking , lecturing and mentoring the young folks in the Navy.. the old saying " You are what you drive !" I believe is so true.. What type of personality you have dictates what you own and drive.. I drive a retro old school, over the top,, loud and proud attentive grabbing ride,, that fits me.. I didn't buy the car for practicality or gas mileage or protecting the environment. I bought it because it made me feel good.. or it makes me feel good every time i start it up and take it to the roads.. Its a feeling that back in the day.. Cars were made to make you feel like a bad ass... Not now. where most cars look the same , drive the same. and of course have great gas mileage.. But today's cars are too quiet , too boring and lack the sex appeal that My ride has.. so after all these years I have my dream Muscle car and I'm so happy for it.. Despite the stressful moments.. I wouldn't trade my car for any of the new tech cars like the Prius , or the Smart Car, or electric box like cars. Unless? They make a Muscle Car that keeps the loud sound in tact , like the Movie " DILEMMA " Where they invent a electric Dodge Charger.. that would be great but if they brought back the " DUKES OF HAZARD " style Charger ,, I would buy that one with out hesitation!! Black beauty - so stressful.. Hell yeah.. but life is a stress anyways,.. I might as well live it up anyways!!

Whats wrong with Philip Rivers ?

Whats wrong with Philip Rivers? Inspired story from Sal Rosas..
 First of all , I'm a die hard fan and I recall those glory years Rivers had 2006-2009,, Those years were fantastic. You could argue rivers was a good or better than Brees, Brady , Manning. stat wise, winning wise.. Well regular season.. But we all know what happens when our beloved Bolts get into the Playoffs. They .. don't do well.. they //well they beat the Colts, but after that they get knocked off by the Patriots , Jets , Steelers.. you know the Physical , well coached teams with great formulas for success. Well Since that knee injury and losing playoff games.. Rivers has not been the same.. The past 3 seasons he has thrown more picks. fumbled away and blew more close call games than any other qb , other than his NFC counter part the Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo.. 
 Whats the deal? I know he has 6 kids and growing, he has the shoulder of issues to deal with,.. His head coach is on the hot seat.. including himself.. Because if they blow this roster up and make changes at Head coach.. Believe me.. The New Coach is going to want to draft his own QB. nurture him and get him to believe in his style.. Rivers is a throw back.. ala. Dan marino style.. Rivers needs max protection to be effective.and Guess what.. ? Other teams and head coaches have figured Rivers out.. He doesn't throw well when moving or running, he does not improvise well or extend the plays like a Brady or Big Ben.. He doesn't have a rocket arm like Manning or Schuab.. He's a very good qb that needs tall athletic receivers to get jump up and get his less than accurate throws,, aka Vincent Jackson,.. or Mike Tolbert , Darren Sproles. these guys could take a short pass or in accurate thrown one and make plays.. He does not have that.. I'm sorry Mathews, Brown and Royal are now where near the production,.. meaning tds makers like Jackson , Tolbert or Sproles.. But hey.. Maybe its Norv Turner not fighting harder to keep these players. or making them feel wanted.,. Players in the past have turned down big contracts or atleast stall the big contract to win a championship.. I mean this team had .. action word,, had the talent to win a championship or two.. 
 Guess what? Those days are gone... Meachem is a highly paid ,, no show.. Royal, gets hurt more than Buster Davis.. remember him.. and Mathews is totally untrustworthy in the clutch.. So what is Rivers to do? Beg for more wide out.. Alexander had a big game , but has a history of injuries.. same with TUTU.. FLoyd. IS GOOD but not a number one deep threat.. and Gates, gets more coverage than CNN news stories.. What does Rivers do? He tries to make plays, force throws when he shouldn't because he sees the writing on the wall.. Turner is gone if he doesn't make the playoffs.. To be honest even a wild card berth may not be enough.. But Rivers tries , perhaps too much.. 
 In my opinion he seems jittery.. he doesn't want to take hits.. I know he hasn't been sacked alot. abut he does OR have taken alot of hits. remember he did blow out his knee and he still looks like he cant run very well. It seems he has a depth perception issues. he throws passes in the right direction , but a couple of feet short or wide and in the NFL.. that's enough to get picked off. he is also predictable , he doesn't move well in the pocket and he rolls out you can see the corners eyes light up because Rivers doesn't have a Brett Favre type arm where he can fire passes past defenders.. But Rivers is stubborn and thinks he is.. That's his problem. Its all mental.. He thinks he is a SUPER STAR QB.. sorry bud.. you are very good , but you don't have great mobility , you don't have a strong arm or a quick release , you also have a short fuse and get very impatient , your temper tantrums are embarrassing and your teammates pick up on that.. 
 Solution.. Need to get Mathews and Brown running.. ground and pound.. and short passes,,, your offensive line is inexperienced and not very good.. Shorter quicker passes,, aka WEST COAST OFFENSE.. it can work.. You have the players.. Next Sunday is a fight for your lives. A Win can get you back in the race and make that great runs .. But keep it simple Rivers and don't try to force things. Don't worry about your coach.. job.. because ..believe it or not your future is on the line..Just relax,, and play happy.. Whatever happens , happens but I still believe in you and the team.. If there is a year when a AFC team can sneak into the SUPER BOWL,, its this year.. The Texans are the lone team playing the best balance.. But hey.. in the playoffs, and a young team. Anything can happen.. 
Its just my die hard thoughts and I hope this Sunday I see a dedicated effort by the team and you and Lets make that late season run.. and make this year.. a year to remember!!

TYPICAL CHARGER GAME..
 Yes, The San Diego Chargers are finding ways to lose! Give up big leads and lose, lose at home without scoring TDS. Losing close games , having a lead and losing at the end.. Every which way but Win! Yes. this team is not that good. Lets face it.. two of their 4 wins are against the lowly Cheifs.. and the other two wins are against two losing teams the Raiders and Titans.. Yeah.. Sure , this a playoff team? Just like the two previous seasons.. Lets face reality,, This once proud contending team .. 2006-2009 are long gone.. This team has not been very cconsistent and now have been predictable.. that is Predictably bad! The offense has no run game , the offensive line is slow and fat and old.. The QB is jittery and makes bad decisions.. which is going on 3 seasons.. He continues to force things and continues to get frustrated which robs off on his team mates.. Whats depressing or embarrassing is when the Media points out that once upon a time . This team had Drew Brees, Darren Sproles, Michale turner, Mike Tolbert, Vincent Jackson,, which are all doing very well.. Yea.. thanks AJ SMITH.. your great at finding talent , but like Deon sanders says.. you have a hole in your shopping bag,.. You cant keep them on the team... Im not saying you could of kept all that talent.. but to lose them because of money issues , it goes to show this franchise or ownership ..even for one year, make that gambling move and go for it.. Look at the Lakers.. they spent millions and fired a very good coach. to win now!! They demand greatness and that why they have won so many championships.. They expect and demand to win and win now.. As for Chargers and their fans. its always.. Next year. next year.. or this is the team>> Really AJ Smith? This team with Marty was a year away from winning it all. But because of ego's pride and arrogance , you decided you know better ? Really ,, NERVOUS NORV is better? Rivers is better than SuperBowl Winner Drew Brees,, Really? Oh Vincent jackson can be replaced , really? Meachem, Alexander, Brown. yea together they dont have Jackson season stats.. Or Sproles.. he can be replaced.. Royal,, ah.. last time I checked he barely makes it on game time.. Yeah.. you said this is the team.. well.. Its been 6 years since the departures of so many players and coacches,. and guess what? This team is not going to win the division, not if you cant run consistently, not when Rivers is going to throw another 20 picks a season.. Not when the defense cant get enough 3 and outs or give up 3rd and long all season long.. Oh.. you not going to win if you blow 24 pt leads at home.. Sure this is the team.. ? This is a team that has a collection of talented players that don't have chemistry and dont play as a team.. The Chargers have yet to play a consistent brand of football. They continue to make turnovers and penalties at the wroong time. They continue to have break downs on special teams and they continue to lose. Yes, indeed, The loser coach NORV Turner has officiallyly destroyed this team. This team has no chemistry , no identity and no leaders,..A change is needed, but we all know the Owner wont do it.. and even if he does,.Hes not going to bring in a head strong , winning coach.. Too much money, too much control.. too much .. Its a shame too. Because the San Diego fans have been so loyal for so many years.. But now that the ownership is set in their ways.. but charging the highest prices for the worst NFL venue in the league.. They continue to threaten fans about moving to LA or other places.. Its clear the fans by cancelling their season tickets and a lack of viewership.. I used to look forward to watching games,, Now its like I will record it and watch it later if they win.. The Bolts are not fun to watch,. and the excuses that Rivers and Turner come up with are lame.. I still love the Chargers , but I realize now I wont get upset , when they lose or mess up.. because its been the TYPICAL CHARGERS THE LAST 3 SEASONS.. I hate to say it , but this will be a losing record.. They have to play the Broncos , Ravens , bengals and the Steelers.. Those are all winning teams and historically have won super bowls and are playing god tough football.. Something the Bolts don't know how to play.. I'm hoping they can win those games but as a gambling man.. I wouldn't bet on the chargers winning any of of those games , home or especially on the Road.. Typical Charger game , a few great plays,. but alot more bone headed plays that give the game away.. NFL.. NOT FOR LONG.. and lets hope the Bolts suprise us and get rid of the Smith and Turner reign of terror and bring in a new vibe a new attitude. If not , expect the losing years.. the late eighties and early nineties.. The Ryan leaf years and the change head coaches every year..
Next week they travel to Denver and Peyton Manning is going to light up this injured and inconsistent defensive team and the offense , will not be ale to keep up , and expect more bone headed , undisciplined football.. just like their coach,.. a career loser, a once great offensive coordinator , and a GM who thinks he's greater than what he really is./// Typical Chargers. They look like SUPER HERO'S with thier UNIFORMS.. but are more like cartoon characters that make you laugh .. because they continue to play like pretenders.. NFL= NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. - just like the chargers.. Why you let a 14-2 Coach go , because you have a better plan.. ? Well after 6 years , its clear.. you had no plan at all..other than ,, " IM THE GM.. and what I say goes!! Well you hear the toilet flushing.. that's where the past six years have gone.. Down the drain.. and NFL'S History as the Most Under achieving team Ever!! The Charger Curse continues!! I still love them.. but I'm not going to get upset anymore.. If Ownership thinks its ok.. than its ok with me... !?!?

Happy Veterans day !Inspired story from a retired veteran

Happy Veterans day ! inspired story by a retired Veteran..
 Happy Veterans day! For millions of veterans that have served this great nation , a hearty thank you from someone who served 20 years , sacrificing my life , my family , my health , my sanity , my future! Its funny now that's its over, I realize now time is so fast, time is fleeting. Now that's its over I cherish the time I had in the Military , the many deployments 6 , 7 9 months away from my beautiful and patient wife Mona, and of course my two wonderful and loving sons Brandon and Martin, they have sacrificed not having a father for many of their school functions. The football games , parent nights, the get together where they needed a father to represent. I know it was difficult and lonely, I had the same deal with my father.. But unlike them I took offense to his long deployments . My kids have been loyal , faithful and hard working, they cut the grass and trimmed the tress and of course checked on all the cars for low air pressure or needed oil changes. I taught them.. Well anyways , I just want to thank the many people I have met in overseas countries that have gone out of their way to say " Thank you! I know it may seem like a small deal to alot of you, But believe me those little sentiments makes us stronger and more determined to do a job ,,, many of you would not or could not do.. Its a tough career to choose, its' lonely , its scary , its frustrating and alot of times its degrading, but we do it in the face of danger to ourselves and others. We do it because of the training , we do for the love of this country and we do it because its a heartfelt passion within ourselves. I know there is alot of folks that despise the military , so be it.. some are in it now.. But for those that appreciate our service and show their support. Just remember we in the military cant pick the wars or conflicts we are thrusted upon.. We are always put in harms way.. and often times we don't realize or care during the time the dangers we face, but we do it daily, weekly , monthly and yearly.. For some of us, its a intoxicating experience to proudly serve this great nation and after 20 years , I can say my love for this great nation has increased.. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ALL THE MILITARY TROOPS.. !! If you have a chance , not only today but anytime you see a Military member, please feel free to say Thank you for your service! It will make us and you feel better about things.. My Mentors and Motivators , By Mel Paras..
 Long ago, before I joined the Navy , I was at the many family gatherings and I had a conversation with one of my mentors about joining the Military. I just graduated from Southwestern College , attended Sheriffs academy and waiting for any law enforcement agency to pick me up.. Well I was impressed with my relative because he started on a rough road.. Lacked education and got into some trouble.. Kind like me.. growing up.. I was a bit of mischief guy, not a total Bad Ass, but if it was fun and the authority thought it was in proper..I was in.. But of course we all have to out grow it. I mean I was no longer a teenager, I completed my college studies for the time and I was embarking on  law enforcement career , despite the strong advise from my dearly departed mama to try something else.. Why? maybe she knew something about my character or lack of one at the time.. But I was met with resistance even from close friends. I heard you are too strong willed , arrogant , and hot tempered and fearless,, Plus you love to fight.. I thought isn't that good traits to be a Marine , soldier Airman or Sailor.. I guess not. according to my family and friends.. 
  But I engaged in this discussion with my uncle , I was impressed with his candor and even concern that my attitude and demeanor would not fir in today's navy.. Well back in the 90's.. But I said I feel its something I need to do,, something that is inside me,,Like my father and all my brothers before me had done.. But I was also impressed with all his monetary belongings and lovely home.. I told him I want those things, not because I want to show off, its because in life that's how alot of people judge you ,, By your material wealth.. Its also gives you the hard working guy or girl that symbol that all your blood , sweat and tears was well worth it.. I mean I was moving apt to apt. job to job and not really happy? I mean I met my Dream Girl.. but my own career was at a stand still and because I was so young and full of energy I wanted to do things productive.. 
 Thus , My relatives provided me that opportunity to enlist the United States Navy.. and the rest is history.. I want to thank my Mentors , they have been a great inspiration and often times the fear factor .that is. I didn't want to disappoint them that I could do it. Because at times during Boot camp I was thinking of calling it quits.. But that's a another blog I will address later.. But for now ,, because they were honest , brutal and inspirational I took their accomplishments and their desires and use it to attain my own goals and aspirations. 
 Result.. I completed 20 years of honorable service , I'm still married to greatest lady ever! And of course I have raised 2 of the sweetest and considerate boys who will make me proud one day when they complete their studies and choose a lifelong partner and give me grand kids.,. Oh boy.. that's gonna be something.  
 My philosophy about life.. Be yourself , be active and never say you're too old.. Even at my advanced age I can still pop lock , box and exercise with the best of them,. Having young boys keeps me in shape , Because My ego doesn't want to know as an old , fat man.. I'm still doing what I love which is pop lock dancing , boxing , riding my mountain bike and of course driving my Dream Muscle car.. I feel reborn ,, and rejuvenated after 20 stressful years of Military service.. You think and act young your mind and body follows your actions.. Be positive!! Live life and don't be a sour , depressing , whiner.. I don't have the patience or time to deal with such party poopers!!

America - We have met the enemy and its us!!
 Yes, America , we are our own worst enemies. Our disregard for morality , legality , what is is right and what is proper. 
 For example, trash TV, with shows depicting the dumb ass Americans.. and alot of the youth embraces those shows.. Teen Moms and we have young girls getting pregnant so they can show case their lives or how dumb they are? Really America. ? then you have all those cheater shows , making out with brothers sisters, fathers mothers.. Your not the father shows! Really America. Is that what you want to be portrayed to the World.. Its no wonder other nations laugh at us.. Not with us.. You wonder why other nations mock us and say America is no longer a Super Power, I mean high unemployment , high social welfare that creates laziness, the media and Hollywood praising , materialism, selfishness, the high life.. The America that is in vogue today is actually a very sad America. I hate seeing homeless , or beggars , I hate seeing drug addicts and drug dealers making money and flaunting their wealth with over the top Jewelry and Cars that look like a Jewelry box with so much chrome on the wheels and grills of the car. There's nothing wrong with having bling bling. But when you do it the wrong way through drugs, stealing , illegal gambling then yes.. The youth picks up on it.. The youth is very susceptible to ideas and issues.. Like when I saw ignorant dumb ass guys. white , black or Asian, Latino.. that wear their pants so to speak.. The ass or underwear in full wear.. Really ? You want guys or girls so see what kind of under wear or your ass or lack of it.. I mean guys.. In prison.. gay guys would wear their pants like that to show they are available or ready for action.. Do you guys realize that? Or because you see ignorant rap Artist doing it , you think that's cool.. If ever think they doing it because they mocking them or too see how many dumb ass kids follow their ways.. I'm sure alot of the rap Artist you idolize are actually smoking weed and laughing it up when they see their fans or what doing it.. I would bet a pay check on that... Don't always copy the stars.. They are tricksters, they are actors and teasers.. They know what they are doing!! That's why they are rich.. for them its cool and vogue.. But for you middle class , educated kids.. Copying such life style or styles of dress is awful.. I see it even with my relatives.. young girls that dress like ghetto girls , or hootchie mama's.. really girls.. You know how many child molesters and rapists are out there? I mean to each is own, but Like I said many times on many blogs.. We as parents have a responsibility to teach and guide our kids.. It may hurt their feelings , but guess what? We need to do it. Kids today have so many social outlets to get them in trouble.. Fb,.twitter , internet, email, texting.. etc.. think before you leap.. That's what has happened to America.. We are our worst enemy , we let Social Media and our lack of Conscience to guide our views and whats important..
 Well as a Proud American and law abiding patriot , I will do my best to teach my kids and his friends to think properly and act properly. I know being young is so much fun. But once you leave high school and attending College,. tech schools. You allowed to drive and vote and fight for this country. In my book, you need to act properly.. Posting daily postings of your drinking habits or insensitive remarks that offend Veterans like me is not acting properly. Whats funny most of the people that make such outrageous remarks.. When I see them are fawking quiet as a mouse.. I don't like people like that it means to me your a phony.. ass.. You are only strong behind a Computer terminal.. A real American Speaks out in person and does the right thing.... America.. Wake up and teach your kids to do the right thing.. And for yourself.. Be persistent and fight for what you believe in and Lets hold our current President and future President's accountable no matter you voted for them or not.. In the end.. We all Americans and we have to work together to get this nation back to where it needs to be... If not America is doomed ...We have met the enemy and , indeed it is us!!

JURY DUTY NOV 7,2012

JURY DUTY ,,, NOV 7, 2012.. TEMECULA ...
 Ok,, the dreaded word.. I have avoided such proceedings for my entire 20 year career because of 6 deployments and 12 long years at sea.. and lets not forget my 10 years in over seas and foreign land duty stations.. So,, I get the notice.. I shriek and shrug and circle the date,, .. 
 This morning I had to get my high school boy up and ready if he wanted to drive to school, and off I went to jury.. duty. No.. I didn't use Black Beauty.. I'm giving her a long and useful rest .. sitting pretty in my garage... Honestly.. I waiting for pay day to change her engine oil.. hehe.. ok. bacl to my story.. I go using navigation of course.. I get to the court house.. place that permit on the dash board and make the trek up some stairs and in along line of other jury people.. We have to remove our belts.. jewelry.. cell phones. .. and go through the metal detectors.. of course they don't tell you where to go,.. You have to figure that out yourself.. So after looking lost. like always.. I follow the crowd.. well I see other people with Juror summons papers so like a good snoopy like detective I follow them to the LL - LOWER LEVEL , LOWER LOBBY.. their we submit our summons to the clerk.,.. they have us put our cell phone numbers on the summons , they tear off badge and off we sit in a rather spacious and nice jury lounge,. books,. magazines.. TVs,, computers.. free coffee, vending machines and a patio area also.. Of course I read for awhile before I realize I'm getting sleepy.. so off to play pinball.. Oh by the way I got the highest score and put my name PARAS RT on,,, the machine.. haha. Ok. you sit and wait.. we get a 0930 announcement, regarding what to expect.. we are shown a lame ass video.. and then at 1000 WE are given a 30 minute break,, Myself and the many others head outside.. I go to my truck.. and recharge my phone,, listening to talk radio.. and walk over to vendor.. But he is selling $ 3.50 hot dogs.. sorry buddy that's way too much for something that's not even that good.. So we return to the jury lounge after being researched by the guards.. I re-enter , get another free cup of coffee,, and a hour later or less the clerk says , no court trials. you are free to go home. I take one of the papers signifying I did my jury duty deal.. and informed you may be called within another year or two.. Not bad.. I mean I wouldn't mind doing now.. since I'm retiring and on leave.. But ts ok.. I have kids to take care of and a house too.. Its funny how people react when they are in a place when they feel they are getting screwed over... You see the experience people, relaxed with their lap tops and calling cards and actually using this deal as a networking experience,, Then you have the newbies.. like,, upset.. restless and moving around. looking for something to do.. I mean I read a Magazine.. featuring Floyd Mayweather.. what a guy>?? Money man. and I played a video pinball game.. Actually the time went pretty fast. I soon left ate at Primos Mexican restaurant in temecula.. and went to the Promenade Malls farmers market held every Wednesday 9 am - 1 pm.. in the parking lot area of JC PENNY.. alot of organic foods.. Stuff I don't like.. hehe.. But that was it.. MY jury service completed and back home .. Do issues , no drama.. But if I drove Black Beauty, I'm sure I would have a blog worth reading.. Jury duty in a nutshell.. If you get the opportunity,. embrace it.. because you may get called to be a part of history.. or you may get the every day hum drum your done and go home like me.. COLTS AT JAGUARS- Andrew Luck is the real deal and the Colts look like the colts of yesteryear. Strong offense and a steady defense. The Jags are a desperate team and sometimes that a crazy combo to deal with. BUT reality is The Colts are contenders for a playoff spot and the Jags are not. I see the Colts winning easily on the road. 
GIANTS AT BENGALS- Right when you think you have the Giants figured out , they flake out.. After that loss last week, I m sure they will be angry and ready to take on the young and inexperienced Bengals. Its that last season drive the separates the contenders and pretenders. The giants are for real and I expect a much better effort this week. Eli will have a bounce back game and the Gmen's defense will get back on track.
TITANS AT DOLPHINS- I like the fins at home after a tough loss, they too are a contending team fighting for one of the wild card spots. Its time to separate from the mediocre and bad teams.. This week at home they get off to a quick start and win easily at home.. 
LIONS AT VIKINGS- The Lions are not the same team as last year and they have struggled on the road, I don't see them as contenders for any playoff spot because of their inconsistent offense and shaky defense. They will play spoiler and could steal this game away,. But I see AP , and the Vikes get untracked and TREAT THE FANS TO A NICE WIN AT HOME!!
BILLS AT PATRIOTS- The Bills had so much energy and enthusiasm before the season, Now they are struggling and playing against a well coached and talented Tom Brady Team. I see the Patriots having a big day and re-establishing their hold on the AFC EAST and the rest of the AFC teams. The patriots will easily at home.
FALCONS AT SAINTS- The Falcons are good and a couple of times lucky.. You can see the strain on their faces as they continue their unbeaten streak. In the NFL.. sometimes timing is everything. and in this case.. They are facing a Hot Saints team at home. This will be the Falcs first loss and they will be better for it. You can tell they are pressing and at times not playing totally relaxed.. I see the Saints , have a good day and winning this close and exciting game.. Drew Brees has another big day and the Saints keep marching on.. 
CHARGERS AT BUCCANEERS- Timing is everything , weeks ago , I would pick the chargers,  but th Bucs are playing very well. They have a dynamite runner in Martin. and of course our great wide out 
Vincent Jackson. Sure the Bucs may have over payed , but at least the owner is trying to win a championship.. They have won a Superbowl.. a expansion team too. But VJ will not only have one of the biggest days of the year against his former team mates,.. CASON OR HAMMER- COME ON MAN. those guys can even cover a trash can.. I see a the bucs scoring early often and late against this inconsistent secondary and a defense that allows the most 3rd down conversions in the league. The Chargers will score alot too. But the Bucs will make one or two defensive stops that will determine the outcome ala.. last week raiders game.. The NERVOUS NORV AND AJ FIRING TALKS BEGIN AGAIN!! 
BRONCOS AT PANTHERS- Peyton Manning is playing like the MVP he is and his team is responding., They are a true contender for the AFC WEST DIVISION TITLE.. but slip up this week. The Panthers are a desperate team and at home they will pull out all the stops to upset the very good broncos.. The panthers will re establish their ground game , to keep manning on the side line and their defense will pressure manning to throw before he wants too. A close game decided on a defensive stops or forced turnovers.. 
RAIDERS AT RAVENS- The raiders are playing offensively better , but their defense is failing the, They have to go on the road and face the hard hitting contending Ravens , will be too much for the inconsistent , but talented raiders. The raiders need a leader on defense , to have a chance but I dont see that being evident this week. The ravens win a hard hitting , low scoring slug fest. 
JETS AT SEAHWAWKS- The jets are the true mystery team. The seahawks are playing well with their rookie QB Russell Wilson,.. The Jets need a win, but on the road against a pretty good defense in that loud venue will throw off the socal boy Markie Sanchez.. TIm Tebow show.. ? I wouldn't be surprised Sexy Rex Ryan is desperate and wil play that way.. I see a low scoring game decided by a late game winning td or field goal by the Seahawks...
COWBOYS AT EAGLES- These are the two strangest teams in the NFL. Both teams and their fan base had so many ideas of grandeur before the season.. This is a toss up game.. I will pick the eagles because they are at home and The Cowboys on the road don't play too well. I would be surprised this is a boring game between two struggling teams , with no identity and two head coaches that may be in the HOT SEAT at the end of the season. The Cowboys are the Chargers of the NFC.. Both teams get their fan base excited , only to disappoint every season. This season no different. The Cowboys lose and look bad too. 
RAMS AT 49ERS- The Niners have that championship defense and play makers,.. The problem is the QB. Alex Smith is too inconsistent to bring a title to the Bay area. If the team gets behind forget it.. They have to play perfect football in order to win.. Its possible , but under the pressure in the playoffs ,, I don't see Smith making that late game winning drive .. The niners win this game , because of More Gore and less smith,. and of course that suffocating defense that provides turnovers and opportunities to score.. 
 SUNDAY NIGHT GAME :
TEXANS AT BEARS- This could be the game of the week.We have two strong teams with potent running games and passing attacks. You have strong defenses, and a tremendous pride .. The Texans need to have a perfect game to win on the road against the explosive Bears. The Bears are going to use FORTE AND SHOWCASE Marshall on some long ball threats.. I see a exciting game . decided in the final minutes, and I see the bears making that late game winning drive to secure a victory... 
MONDAY NIGHT GAME :
CHIEFS AT STEELERS- The chiefs are in trouble. They have a inconsistent QB, a shaky defense and a old head coach. The Steelers despite their injuries pull off a nice win last week, and at home They want to reignite themselves and the fan base they are true contenders for the division crown or wild card spot.. I see Big Ben having a big day and the Steeler defense having a field day against that helpless offense.. This could be a Monday night Massacre!!!

BLACK BEAUTY IS A TEASER? 
 Black beauty is like a beautiful women.. You know when you see a beautiful women , you want to look and see what she has.. Nice curves. Big front end and rear end.. Nice headlights.. Sexy , sleek and Perfect. Well that's my ride. It has the sexy . sleek, muscular wide hips , that make ant man or women or whatever stare at my car.. I know i have posted many day to day stories and events regarding my car, and its all true.. Black Beauty demands attention and when she gets it. She wants to show off with, spinning burn outs or quick speeds that are breath taking and amazing to watch. I know I see people slow down or speed up to take a gander at my car. I have seen grown men just flat out stare at my car.. probably the most fascinating stare I saw was this attractive white girl in a BMW , in the Car Pool Lane ,, well it was a traffic jam , so all the lanes were not moving this one morning and I saw her staring almost like in a dream state.. admiring my car.. Yes, it has that effect. I know even people I see , ask me hows Black beauty ? What.. they care more for the car than me? Its almost offending , but this car from the moment I set eyes on it St Patricks day 2012. the luck of the Irish day will be forever the day i bought My dream car.. well close enough.. I mean I kept telling my loving wife I wanted a Fire bird Trans am.. but of course that don't make those anymore.. You guys remember the Smokey and Bandit Movies and that beautiful black and gold car.. Man. I loved that car.. But My challenger with its Pontiac . Mopar roots and the trans am like rear tail lights and and the great front end lights and grill with the awesome hood scoops , makes this car my Real Dream car.. I must say.. I wasn't totally into this car.. at first. until I drove it home and realized I have that car , that is muscle car I always wanted.. And since then.. I have pampered , wax, washed and taken care of this ride like its a new born child.. 
 Teaser , yes, this car when you see it on the road,. you want to see it go.. That's why I get tail gated almost daily.. so I speed off and the looks and stares are amazing.. Even the CHP , love eking at my car..  they ride either right on my tail or beside me.. But i don't give in.. One of the coolest times is when I went to O' Riley's auto store and a couple of CHPS gave me thumbs up,, saying awesome car.. I said thank you.. and the attention goes on.. There isn't a day where I don't get stared at.. or at least Black Beauty and people admiring her build.. like a sexy women.. you want to see her move.. That's why I get wanna be racers get beside me. or behind me.. and try to entice me to show the speed.. Often times I just cruise the I -15 freeway.. and many cars simply slow down to get a glimpse.. Or maybe because they see my radar detector and my sheriffs sticker on the lower left rear window. If you haven't seen a challenger at night... The car resembles a cop car. ESPECIALLY when i Turn on the fog amber lights.. At first it was fun.. but too many times cars drive too damn slow in the fast lane when I come rolling down .. They are either intimidated or just shell shocked at the speed I catch up to them.. Black beauty loves attention, from the moment I turn her on, to the moment I park her.. She loves to tease and please the crowds that seem to gawk at her retro look. Do I instigate the tease? Of course I do.. Because like my ride.. I'm a bit of a joker,. teaser and fun loving guy that loves the attention.. Its why I bought it and its the reason I will never buy another muscle car again.. well.. not one to replace black beauty anyways.. The joker and the teaser.. Next time a fast car rolls up on you on the 805 , 5 , OR 15.. don't be surprised it me!?!? ,.SIMPLY . MOVE OVER AND ENJOY BLACK BEAUTY REAR LIGHTS PASS YOU BY!!

Navy life is a lonely one..Inspired by my son Marty..
 My papa is a good man, works hard, plays hard and retells stories like no other, but I also realize he missed alot of my childhood , unlike my older brother.. I hate to admit it , but I'm envious of all those close knit times he shared with my older brother  the football, baseball leagues, the Karate lessons, the travels to Japan and communist China,. the European Tours. I missed it because I wasn't born yet, yet.. Then my papa had sea duty.. Its lost time,. because he's always outy to sea. Sea trials,. inspections whatever, and then those deployments,.. I mean I was really too young to know anything, but still. I really wish my papa shared more time with me..I mean, now that he is retired or about to be, I see him too much, he tackles me in my room. attacks me like a Navy seal.. He yells at me every day.. He hasnt lost that skill , and probably never will. But I see a happier papa.. Even though he was not deployed , you could see the stress of him being on sea duty.. Its a lonely life, for sure missing your family and friends and hobbies. like Football , boxing and bike riding my dad likes to do.. and now his new passion His lovely muscle car.. Its good to see him,, but I know he sad about missing so many birthdays. , aanniversary's, parties, get togethers.. games.. time.. Its time is lost forever and I know the time he has with us. he cherishes it. My older brother is going off to college and Air Force and I will start middle school and high soon. It seems time is going really fast .. But atleast I have my youthful looking dad who still knows how to skateboard.. mountain biking. boxing , football and just being playful. Its seems all those lonely years standing watch in overseas lands and or cold , boring ships has made him reborn, almost a rebirth of a younger dad. I know he suffered alot of lonely nights and days , months and years to serve this great nation, but I really wish he wasn't away so much. It was a great strain on my mama, who is a great worker , provider and caretaker of all the bills or household activities but is not like my papa.. My papa almost forces to play catch with him or play with him.. I love my dad and I'm so thankful he is home with us after serving 20 years in the Navy. I know the time lost is just that.. Time lost . but the time I have with him now i will take advantage and cherish,, because nothing stays the same.. The moments and bonding are so precious now.. Since I'm getting older , my older brother moving on and My parents doing the same. One thing for sure , The Navy is a lonely life and one I don't want to be a part of. I respect what my dad did, but I don't have the mental toughness or motivation to handle such stress. He's a strong man and I'm thankful for that, but I'm going to do well in school and get a good career where I can stay close to family and friends and cherish the times I have with them.. And for those persons that choose the lonely , stressful Navy life. I admire you, serving this great nation is such a honor, but some of us don't have the proper wire or attitude to live that lonely and harsh stressful life.. I salute my papa and those who have served and I'm thankful that In America we have the choices to serve America , by other means other than Military life..

Unconditional Love for my kids,. Inspired by Brandon P...
 I'm a proud parent of two wonderful and caring kids, When I ask,. or they say yell for something to get done they obliged.. But when they do things wrong you damn right I gonna let them know. Why because I care.. because you need to correct kids.. Believe it or not kids need direction, and often times are crying out for some. I know I can be over bearing and many times treat them like the sailors I used to be in charge of.. But it's I know my lectures, guidance and discipline will help them in life.. Life today is complicated, I know its hard to be a kid, because there is so much technology they have to know about , peer pressure,. media pressure. My kids want to have the good life and I hope and pray they can live a wonderful life like I have been exposed too. I know i had my trials and tribulations and those trials will continue. Life is never a straight easy road, we are tested and often times devastated with losses that seem unfair.. I know I lost my mother while I was young in the Navy and to be honest it broke my heart , my spirit.. I became a raging alcoholic and a anger management mess. I was angry at my family and the world.. and I did many things I should of have said or done.. But the liquid courage and anger issues didn't help.. But like anything in life , we live and learn, and that's what I preach to my kids and wife. We have to give them direction and we have to let them grow up and make dumb ass mistakes.. because our kids will. Our kids will say and act and do things we don't understand, Why? Because they are teenagers, because they are in love or out of love, or because they hormones are raging and their moods swings are unpredictable;;? Remember guys and gals,, teenage years were the most difficult times because of our moods and attitudes.. I know alot of us pissed off one another , alot of us were ego maniacs and self centered jerks.. I know alot of us were terrible kids that had too much energy and attitude.. But guess what? Its a a phase we go through. and eventually we become well respected , productive parents with great careers. We worry about the same things .. now. our kids futures. theirs education,. their future partners in life.. If theirs one thing that can make or break a person life perspective.. that's marriage.. Its a difficult thing to keep going. You are dealing with so many angles and attitudes of a person.. But like the underCONDITONAL LOVE  for our kids , we have to have that in Marriage.. You have to have that leap of faith moment with your kids.. Like the first time driving alone , or the first time on a date, or sleepover..Its a tough moment and I;m sure we all know how stressful it is to let our kids grow up.. But we have too and we have to have unconditional love. No Matter what? yes, no matter what? I know I don't want my kids to drink , or drive reckless, or have young sexual encounters.. But reality is.. Our kids have or will do that.. Am I right,, Come on guys.. you remember when your were young.. Heck. my my deceased mama and my elder dad don't know over half of things I did and they will never will , because somethings are better left unsaid.. Love your kids.. spoil them once in awhile, teach them well and above all be there for the,, Time is so fast.. I see my kids now more than ever since I retired, and its seems they are growing up so fast! A great parent instructs,. reprimands and guide his kids to do whats right. Nothing in life is a given , unless its death or taxes , those two things are forever , no matter where you go.. But Unconditional love for your daughter or sons , no matter what ? Is what they need and desire. Let them live their life and yes,, yell at them when they do dumb ass stuff, but as far as life choices.. Careers, partners, religions.. Let them choose.. because it's their life and all you can do is love them for what they are and what they will become.. and hope all the lessons , lectures and scare tactics worked,.,.because life goes by so fast.. and At times I feel alot of kids are wasting their time drinking , drugging or plain old wasting time. and not pursuing whats important in life.. Its a journey . life is.. and for alot of us. including myself, My path has been a roller coaster of thrills and chills and happiness and sadness. But one thing is for sure ,.. I'm still here and I love my family and friends and hope and pray that the important people in my life <<Make the right choices!! Unconditional Love for my kids.. easier said than done!!

Chargers treated the fans to a win! Now they are ticking us?

CHARGERS TREATED US TO A WIN, NOW THEY ARE TRICKING THE FANS ?
 Great win by the Chargers, Thursday Night, Prime Time, But guess what ? Are the Chargers really that good? I mean their 4 wins have been against the Chiefs twice, the Titans, and the lowly Raiders at that time.. The Bolts were destroyed by the undefeated Falcons at home, lost three close games , Saints had a lead blew it on a Monday Night, the biggest comeback in NFL HISTORY ,, 24 pt lead at halftime.. and the embarrassing road loss to the helpless Browns. In other words the San Diego Chargers are the Champs of the losing teams and cant stay with the contenders. The Saints have the worst defense in NFL history and the Chargers still lost. I love a win, like all of you do, but look back at the game..
  The Charger offense only scored 17 pts, despite Rivers amazing stats.. the pick thrown at the one yard line , not only took points of the board , but ruined the momentum and a missed opportunity, In the NFL,, you miss chances to score , more times than not you will lose.. But the Chiefs have never had a lead in any of their games.. Their lone win was in overtime against the leagues worst defense. 
The defense actually saved or preserved the game and at least one more week of Nervous Norv and AJ SMITH.. the pressure is on. You can see it when the camera's zoomed in on the Chargers luxury boxes. despite the lead AJ SMITH was stressed. I wonder why? Oh,. the media including our beloved LT stating, Its all on AJ, he buys the groceries the players or selects them from the draft , but has trouble keeping them on the team.. monetary , personal, or whatever.. the list of great players is alarminmg.. SEAU, HARRISON, WES WELKER, LT, CROMARTIE, SPROLES, BREES, TOLBERT , TURNER, VINCENT JACKSON,, you dont replace such playmakers with other teams rejects,, Meachem , Royal.. Sorry I rather have Vincent Jackson and Sproles in a heart beat.. Let croomette go,, really Cason not only gets beat , but doesn't make plays like cromartie.. Sure cromartie got beat , but not every game like Cason does. As for Tolbert and Sproles , those guys were reliable veterans RIVERS WANTED AND NEEDED.. As good a Ronnie Brown or McClain are.. Tolbert had alot of TDS as well as Jackson.. and together they had a energy or leadership by example ,I don't see on this team.. Rivers is the only leader , but cant do it by himself. Yes, fans.. great win at home , but reality is coming up very soon. The Bolts have to play the tough hard hitting AFC North , Ravens , Steelers, Bengals and the Bolts already lost to the divisions worst team.. So, logic tells me , that that's not good odds against 6 time SUPERBOWL CHAMPION STEELERS, OR 1 TIME SUPERBOWL CHAMPS RAVENS AND THE tough Bengals who play very well at home.. The Chargers are not a good enough team to get behind and beat teams on the road if they don't clean up the turnover issues. Against The Chiefs, Titans or raiders, you can come back.. But against quality tough teams.. The Chargers better play their best ball and even then I'm not sure its enough. This a New Charger team.. Fans you have fond memories of the amazing comebacks and great wins of teams gone by.. But Lets get real... 
 Reality Check.. The Chargers have not been in the playoffs the past two years, and have 9-7 - 8-8 records , and no wild card spot. The Bolts are 4-4 with 8 games left.. The remaining schedule is a tough one, Home games against the Ravens, Bengals and raiders seem like a tough home schedule. Those are must wins.. My guess 10-6 IS A WILD CARD OR DIVISION TITLE.. ANYTHING ELSE.. WONT HAPPEN.. THE BRONCOS ARE A BETTER TEAM with the amazing Peyton Manning, Rivers is a very good QB that needs help.. Fans,, this team is not that good , and the next following games against the hard hitting AFC NORTH, may expose the real Chargers, and we all may not like it. Yup,, they are tricking us again to try to save their beloved Coach Turner , but NFL may mean NOT FOR LONG for AJ SMITH , NORV TURNER AND PHILIP RIVERS.. ??
