MEMORIAL DAY..
May 30, 2011 marks memorial day , and we all as Proud , law abiding Citizens and future citizens of the United States of America. Be thankful to those service members , civilians and innocent bystanders who were killed by enemy action or friendly fire , dying for ones country , is the highest honor any one can earn for their country. I rather make the enemy die for their country , but theirs no shame dying for this Great Country. I know at times we get upset with issues or ideas in our Homeland , but bottom line..THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is the best country on the world and We all should take time out tomorrow to recognize the many Americans who have died and served this country well. As a Proud member of the Armed Forces for over 19 years , I take great honor in proclaiming my love and commitment to the country that has served me with great benefits and respect ! May tomorrow not only be a day to honor those fallen heroes , but to celebrate this nations great History , honor and commitment to higher standards set forth by our fore fathers and leaders of American History! What Guys like. ?based on life's experiences..
What Guys like?
ok, this might offend guys or even girls , but remember this is opinion and experiences that have occurred to my fellow guys and just retold to my Friends. Ok,, Most guys like anything that moves, especially if that person feeds a guys ego. Lets face it Guys live and die alone with Ego's , we live and strive by it. That's why we play sports , why we compete for attention , or affection. Guys love themselves, so when a women, even the ugly ones feed our ego's. That's why they are so many one night stands because ego's,, But when reality hits , or the next morning , we realize , maybe that girl wasn't as pretty or cute as we thought.. Then again alcohol plays into that too. That's why ugly girls love alcohol, the senses get dulled , our sights , our meters or standards get lowered , hell, that's reason over half the marriages happen or pregnancies happen because of alcohol.. You want birth control, don't let guys drink around grils,..haha.. Ok..Guys love eye candy , in other words,, the sluttier or easy you look, the more men like., forget about decency and whats proper , guys like the hooker look , when going out for a good time. That's why girls dress like that , because men love to look, even when guys are with their ladies , lets be honest guys , when we see a hooker like outfit , we look, if you don't you are either blind, pistol whipped , or gay, but then again I've see alot of gays look at girls..or vice versa. lol.. Guys like the idea other guys want their ladies,, it makes them feel special , elevated " the Man.. " its like cars when a guy has a hot looking Car and people comment , he feels wanted , special , " the man,," So , what am i saying , bottom line.. Guys are easy, if you compliment a guy and get him to talk about his favorite subject .. Himself of course, then you got him, and your your attractive , hell yea,, and now if your fat and ugly,, well that's when alcohol plays into this deal.. I know it may seem like Guys are horrible , but check this out .. Strip clubs are usually catered towards , prostitution , peep shows , porn industry , because Guys like to look , like or feel good ,men like to be catered to.our. ego's ,our minds , etc.. Its kind of pathetic, but guys , alot of us enjoy these things. It's something passed down from our fathers , older brothers , films , media.. magazines., culture,guys are supposed to be .. aggressive , motivated , hunters , gatherers, fighters, the man.. so to speak.. And Girls,, have figure us out,, and we fall for it.. spending time watching those shows, videos, etc,, because " Guys we never grow tired of looking at a sexy looking women,, and for those guys who are tired,, You might as well be dead.. Beautiful , sexy women are truly gifts from above and those girls that have the looks and show it off.. More power to you. , and for those women who still look good , including my face book friends and classmates.. More power to you, because I don't care how old you are,, Everyone wants to look and feel good, that's why plastic surgery , beauty products are billion dollar industries..

What Girls like ?!
Ok, Ive been around , and I ve seen and done alot. But one thing for sure i doesn't matter what race , culture or what? Girls like all the same things.. well most do.. First off , you have to have a sense of humor about life , yourself and things. Its a ice breaker , better than any corny ass line or wardrobe you can wear . Comedy breaks the ice. Next , you have to talk , it doesn't matter, what it is , girls love talkers , story tellers , yeah bull shitters, they like guys that have been around and done things. For better or worse , they like guys who have creativity , imagination , passion, not cry babies or overly emotional types , but strong , confident , borderline Cocky , confident guys. I mean , That's what men are brought up to be.. Love sports , love cars, really love cars and of course treat women with respect but not be pushed over, you know what i mean??
Girls wanna have fun , so guys , need to know how to party to get loud to get people pumped up. What else girls like , is men who have a job, I'm sorry , if you have everything else I mentioned , but NO Job, you have no future with most women, Unless you find a rich girl,, who's willing to pay , but how many of those girls are really out there.
Girls also like guys who can dance , and look good doing it, its something about a confident man willing and able to get on the dance floor or the street corner and perform. It's kind having that something, because alot of guys cant dance and alot of guys cant fight , so if you can do both , you are really in. What else do girls like , guys that smell good, groom themselves , and dress well. It doesn't matter , if your a T shirt guy , or jeans , slacks , or what if you look good , girls like that. But caution, Don't over dress , or out dress your lady, women don't like to be out done by anyone , other girls or boyfriends or husbands,, Its not not good, I know I'm still doing that , but I cant help it , I love dressing up, I guess it all those Jr high years cruising around with the crowd.. No names right, you know who you are. I mean when I went to the Mall , I would dress up , because the girls I went with did,.. Some might say that's gay,, whatever.. You got it flaunt it.. !!
Girls also Love cars or trucks.. the Cooler , the flashier , the better. It's a feeling they like to have cruising around in a nice car and truck. So , be wise in purchasing a car, I know economy is nice , but nothing like a Looker car. You know what I mean, something that says " Look at Me!" I have a truck that says that and it's a awesome feeling. But I spend time , shining my truck , the chrome wheels , the tire dressing , the show time instant wax, and of course the booming to the beat Stereo.. You have to have the stereo, its the typical stereotypical So cal thing.. Gots to have sounds.. Oh, Girls also hate phonies , posers or wanna Be's so be your self, Surfer , hip hopper , skater, intellectual, look natural and comfortable, girls can tell if your faking and to be honest..Why be something your not.. ?!?
Lastly , girls like to be treated like a princess, they love the attention and they also love a man that's not afraid to express their feeling among everyone, I mean I showcase my love too much, but she loves it and I must say Most girls do.. HEAT BEAT BULLS : DEJA VU?
HEAT BEAT BULLS - DEJA VU?
Congrats to the Heat , coming from behind , on the road in a close game , missing one of their stars and still coming up with a win.. That's what Champions do,, They win close games , they win on the road and they win even though they don't play their best game.. As for the Bulls , we saw this with the Thunder in their series, great play , but fading at the end.. Why? Turnovers, mental errors , poor shot selection. They are young and they should contend next year , but they must play better and smarter at the end of close games.. That's what separates Contenders to Champions. Having the best record and home field advantage , doesn't always mean you win it all. Remember Charger fans 2006 14-2 record LTS greatest season,, and well you all recall, turnovers , mental errors and poor late game decisions cost them the game and a shot at the championship. To be a Champion you have to be mentally tough and the HEAT AND MAVERICKS have it.. I expect a great series and my early pick is the Heat! I like the Mavericks play , but I see the more talented , aggressive and confident heat to be too much for the older , slower and less talented mavericks.. Besides they Beat MY Lakers , so of course I'm not rooting for them. Lets hope the referee let them play too many fouls and technicals called .. its the playoffs, emotions and stakes are higher.. Let them play. I miss the old days of hard fouls, trash talking and human emotions being played out.. That's why THE NEW SPORTS ERA sucks.. They are taking away raw emotion form the game.. Instead we see a softer , kinder sports scene.. I hate it..But Lets get on with the NBA Playoffs and Lets end this NFL lockout.. I'm looking forward to a great season and new contenders getting into the playoffs.. Well my prediction for the NBA finals.. Great games and spectacular plays from both sides and a Miami Heat win in 7 games.. MVP - will be Lebron James and a beginning of a new Dynasty? I also see the changing of the guard in the NBA.. Expect new playoff players.. Thunder and Bulls , as well as the Heat .. will be battling for Championships.. and don't be surprised the LA / SAN DIEGO CLIPPERS make a play off run.. with their Superstar Blade Griffin.. WHAT would you do? based on true events
WHAT WOULD YOU DO? CRUEL AND UNUSUAL EMPLOYMENT..
Its seems everyday I go to work something happens.. It's can be physical , mental, material condition of the work space. I mean it seems every day somewhere toilets or urinals are over flowing or getting clogged . I see pipes leaking , rust spot getting bigger! I see oily and water spot everywhere! I also smell everything , rotten food, over cooked , under cooked food. I smell oil , grease , liquids , stale water , burnt oil,. burning or burnt smells. I mean , I cant go through one day without smelling or hearing strange smells and sounds.. What do I do.? I go on, I have too, I mean I have a job to do,, but it does make you wonder why anyone , would put themselves such ordeals. For those that understand or have lived my life , you know whats up . For you civilian types, you are saying " What The Hell? Why would anyone with a sound body and mind put themselves such ordeals. I mean Ive done it for a long time. In fact probably longer than alot of you been alive. I mean, Ive seen a lot in my Career , but this work area has been the first and the worst of my career. I mean , I though I have seen it all. But instead , I'm now honored to witness first time events that I have never seen. Its like trying to make gold out of Dirt.. You might find gold paint and may even make the dirt solid, but in the end,, Its still Dirt!! But in my life now , I have people who are demanding quality stuff , but I'm given crap. What is a man to do ? Well , I vent , I curse and I laugh and even cry , and just wait for the next day. Because nothing last forever!! Including the pain and misery I'm feeling now.. you guys ever hear in Law Enforcement " Cruel and Unusual Punishment .. I got one better " Cruel and Unusual Employment!" That's where I stand every day , I struggle with young kids that are self centered , lazy , cell phone crazy fools that spend more time and effort on cell phones than their actual job.. I have no mercy for these kids, and I will continue to write them up , put them on report and ultimately get them out of my work space. I don't need that and I have no patience for that type of attitude. I'm not saying this generation of kids are bad , but I see not enough of them to make me feel secure and Happy about the future leaders of America... But I will mentor those who want to listen and work on the others , not just for their sake but the sake of tomorrow's leaders. What would you do ? Quit! No.. not me.. I will continue on and hope and Pray that these Young bloods get their act together!! But I must say , its a tiring and frustrating road , but I look at each day as the journey and adventure I signed up for many years ago.. I'm living the dream.. even though at times it feels like a night mare!! What would do my friends? Until the next life issue .. Enjoy life and Be happy !! THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011

NBA PLAYOFFS .. REVIEW 2011
NBA PLAYOFFS - PLAYOFF REVIEW 2011--
Ok, we just saw the Mavericks eliminate the very good Thunder, But it could of been different but the Thunder had mental blunders late in two games they should of could of won.. But that's why we play the games,, not always the most talented , most skilled , or what, sometimes experience , coaching and mental attitude comes through..The Mavericks will get much needed rest as they wait on the eastern Champs..
Now ,, I did pick the Bulls and I still think they can do it , but tonight is Must win, a loss and they will suffer the same fate as the Thunder. The Bulls need to play great defense, make the Big three Lebron ,wade and Bosh , get physical.. Plus the role players for the Bulls do their roles and of course the bench needs to play better and score. It wont be easy , but winning a Championship is never easy , even for Great teams The Michael Jordan Bulls , The Magic Johnson Lakers or the Tim Duncan Spurs and of course the Celtics with Larry Bird all had to play some tough physical basketball. The Bulls need to make a statement and show the World they are for real. I hear the comments they can win games , but not Championships.. The Playoffs is a new and different animal.. They need to step up and show the world. I expect a hard fought game , alot of emotion and allot of Derrick Rose taking control, He needs too, no one else can help him, he needs to dominate and take control. If not , then it will be the Mavericks and Heat in the NBA FINALS , and I hate to say it ,, But the heat will win in 7 exciting close games.. The Heat had its struggles and now they are playing very good ball. The Big three are finally adjusting their games and attitudes and playing like a team , that they thought they were going to be. I know you can buy championships , but in this case you have three young players in their prime and strong desires to prove the world and their haters wrong. Lets enjoy tonight's game and if the Bulls do it , we have a great series from here on in.. But if the Heat gets it going.. I see the Heat winning and taking this momentum in to the NBA Finals and producing a Championship run that may last a while.. A new DYNASTY ? PERHAPS.. Remember the Thunder , The BULLS are young .. but they may take a year or two before they are ready. It's a changing of the guard.. The old guys. Lakers , Celtics , Spurs are in rebuilding mode.. The Lakers ,, maybe further back because a new coach , disgruntled players and a aging injury prone Superstar.. But tonight Enjoy the coming of a new era in Basketball and a great NBA final coming soon. Then lets hope the NFL.. stops this lockout deal .. and get this FOOTBALL SEASON GOING!! But for now.. If not , then it will be the Mavericks and Heat in the NBA FINALS , and I hate to say it ,, But the heat will win in 7 exciting close games.. The Heat had its struggles and now they are playing very good ball. The Big three are finally adjusting their games and attitudes and playing like a team , that they thought they were going to be. I know you can buy championships , but in this case you have three young players in their prime and strong desires to prove the world and their haters wrong. Lets enjoy tonight's game and if the Bulls do it , we have a great series from here on in.. But if the Heat gets it going.. I see the Heat winning and taking this momentum in to the NBA Finals and producing a Championship run that may last a while.. A new DYNASTY ? PERHAPS.. Remember the Thunder , The BULLS are young .. but they may take a year or two before they are ready. It's a changing of the guard.. The old guys. Lakers , Celtics , Spurs are in rebuilding mode.. The Lakers ,, maybe further back because a new coach , disgruntled players and a aging injury prone Superstar.. According to some fundamentalist christian philosopher , predictor , historian , that I wont name because , to be honest he doesn't deserve ant recognition for his non sense predictions and claim to fame.. I deserve more credit than him. ha.. Ok,, the day has come and gone and life continues.. Fact, back in 1994 , he make a similar prediction the world would end during that time frame. Now , after the latest predictions, he restates that its Oct 21, 2011. Hmm. why keep glorifying this foolish man.. ? The media hype is amazing..
The real story that day or night was sports related or in this case Boxing related.
The tale of two fighters .. Roy Jones Jr, and Bernard Hopkins,. Both fought that night , Roy losing his 3rd fight in a row and getting knocked out, He has been knocked out by Antonio Tarver , Glen Johnson, Danny Green, and now a nobody.. Sorry Roy , once upon a time you were the baddest boxer in the world.. But those days have past you by. Stop .. before you lose more brain cells and ruin the image you worked hard to create.. It's time to hang it up..
Then we have the amazing 46 year old , New Cruiser weight champion Bernard " The Executioner " Hopkins, awesome win over Pascual, a younger , stronger , and bigger fighter who started well and ended up losing the last 6 to 7 rounds of the fight , he was knocked down twice , but referee was watching the ring card girls , and didn't see the action.. Yea, its terrible , when everyone else See's the knockdown, but the third man in the ring didn't.. Maybe he should retire too along with Roy Jones Jr. Shane Mosley and any other great fighter trying to hold on to the past... That generation .. Our generation for those who relate to Hopkins age is one of the great eras in time. We are the last of the baby boomers and the last of the hard working , unselfish , loyal clans of society. We grew up making up our own fun.. We didn't grow up with Internet , play station , or fancy cell phones. We had to create our own fun, and because of that , we are able to deal with life better , if the Internet is not working , or play station breaks down , or our phones have connectivity issues. We learned that in order to be good at something you need to learn it , not take short cuts. That's the difference we have over today's generation. We learned to entertain our selves and share our talents with others without bickering.
I'm proud that one of our generation babies .. Won the Cruiser weight title at such a advanced age of 46. It goes to show, anything is possible.. ? Instead of the end of the word as predicted by some foolish old man, we saw the Beginning of a new age. The Age of perpetual youth. Old age is state of mind, if you think and feel young and take care of yourself. You can accomplish anything. I laugh when the younger generation tells me , I'm tired , and I feel old.. Really , I say to these young bloods.. Try 19 years in the Navy , raising two kids , paying for a house , cars , bills and still working hard .. If you can do that , then I'm with you, but if you are young , strong and new to the Navy or life,, You need to live a little more and experienced alot more before stating you are tired.. May 21, 2011, marked the end of stereotype's , that old people cant accomplish things. That Middle age people are going down hill. I say the opposite , The New era is that Youth is preserved through patience and continued hard work. A person who keeps pushing their bodies and yearning to learn things are the ones that accomplish the most in life.. The Body is meant to be in perpetual motion , once you stop moving , physically , mentally , emotionally , you simply die,, You have to keep striving for what ever makes you happy. In other words " OLD AGE IS STATE OF MIND !" and MAY 21, 2011 made that proclamation with Bernard Hopkins amazing feat and not only beating a younger fighter , but inspiring those of us who are near his age. So, Get up and do what makes you happy and keep doing it, Healthy minds healthy bodies go hand in hand.. I choose action over reaction, I choose living life over watching life. Mavericks outlast the Thunder.. Its over !!
MAVERICKS OUTLAST THUNDER .IT'S OVER..
Dallas , I must admit you guys are talented , experienced and clutch.. Yea, you guys are old , bold and tough ! The Thunder had this game , but pressure , lack of discipline and choking at critical moments , like at the end of the game Durant , one of the Best players in the game , made a bad shot.. But hey they are young , and will be the future of the NBA.. But this year it's over.. the Series is 3-1 , so that means Thunder has to win out to win.. Fat chance,if you cant win a home game , after leading by double digits,, then I don't expect a tremendous comeback.. Nice effort , But I see the Mavericks, moving on,, yea, La Fans it sucks to see the team that beat you , sweep you and now go on and have a great chance to win it all. But hey, what can you do? The younger , more athletic Thunder has their chances , but their inexperience and young , dum play calling was or simply horrible. But hey there's always next year..
Now Chicago is in the same boat , Must win,, or their season is over. The Formula , Use their youth , energy and athletic ability to make it a fast game.. Plus someone needs to help Derrick Rose and , get physical with Lebron and Wade, and that Bosh fella. Make them fight and I see a different outcome. Do what the Bulls have been doing to get their the whole year!! Play tight defense and feed the beast Rose.. .. But time will tell , Game 4 is a pivotal game.. A win by the Heat it's over.. A bulls win, and we have a great series..

BULLS VS. HEAT-GAME 4 . MUST WIN FOR BULLS..
Game 3 was decisive and clear, The Heat are blazin right now, I know I made the prediction the Bulls will win, and I still believe it ! But if the Big three Lebron , Wade, and Bosh keep playing like they are , they will win this series. I mean facts are facts , they are making plays , being unselfish and fun to watch. They are doing what they were brought their to do .. Win championships.. Yeah forget their early season struggles , or sadness , or what. Right now they are playing Laker ball back in the day. Recall the Magic Johnson days, Karrem and James Worthy days.. Well this is what we are seeing. Unselfish play , a distributor Lebron making everything click and go. Wade is playing defense and Bosh is being the game player or clutch guy ,LIKE Big game's Jame's Worthy WAS back in the day.. I know it still early , but the Bulls need to win game 4 , if they have a chance. a 3-1 advantage , is too much, to overcome, So expect a feisty game , Lets Hope the refs , let them play. I mean ,, some or most the fouls are non existent, but because players are great or overly exaggerated actors , they get the foul and at times technical.. Geez, if the played the 8o's or 90's ball., They would have all those teams suspended or all of them would foul out.. ?? The game is too soft for me, I mean all the games are Baseball , football, boxing , there is no passion in the game now.. That's why its not as exciting , as the old days .. I mean back then , you heard trash talkin, you saw shoving and pushing , even a the occasional fights , but did anyone ever get killed? So , why the big deal ? Oh well , a kindlier , gentler sports scene.. I still love my favorite sports , Boxing , Football , MMA, but it seems too many rules to protect the safety of the sport.. I always like that, but to the point where you don't see any contact , or human emotion allowed? yea,, that's where I see the disconnect , and I know alot of you fans agree. But like true fans , we root , we yell, we complain and we watch because that what fans do,, .. Bull fans keep the faith ! But they must win game 4 and they must find someone to help Derrick Rose ,, if they do , expect a fight to the finish, if not .,. I see the Heat not only winning this series , but winning it all, despite all of us hating that team and what they predicted before the season. Oh one more thing ,, too much time between games , we are nearly to June and we haven't reached the Championship games yet? Sports heroes to Sports Zeros..
Sports heroes to Sports Zeroes...
Ok, We all have seen it .. OJ's Sports Icon to Criminal behaviour.. Barry Bonds - Home run Champion to disgraced steroids user , cheater. Tiger Woods , the Biggest Sports celebrity to , reckless womanizer, Lance Armstrongs- fantastic recovery from cancer to ultimate Bike champion to accused Performance enhancing drug user by his closest teammates. Is this what America is all about? Building up our Sports heroes, than finding chinks in the armor. We live in a society of negativity, we all like to see the greats or champions fall. That's why we root for underdogs.. We grow weary of perfection and excellence , we cant stand people or teams that are cocky and too confident. We should embrace perfection , but our culture looks for downfall . It seems its fun to see someone suffer , especially the rich and famous. Perhaps , it makes us feel better about our mundane , boring lives , to see people getting caught doing anything wrong is what we live for.. That's why we have all these nosy TV , shows and mags that print , fabricate , exaggerate stories about our heroes. At times , we feel for these stars , but most of the time we love the pain and suffering these celebrities feel. The price for stardom, Is it worth it? For me, I would trade places to live that glamorous life. Even for a short time, because just to have the feeling of power and status and doing as we please without any concerns about money or time. It must be a high , none of us will ever feel. We can dream and imagine , but if we never walked those steps , we can only fantasize about such feelings. Instead , As Americans , we build up our Sports heroes , celebrities , and when they feel so secured and untouchable , we break them down, and say " I knew it, I knew they were dirty.." Its like we find peace by someone Else's down fall. For example . The Lakers losing or getting swept, or Patriots losing the Superbowl, destroying the Perfect season. Mike Tyson getting knocked out by a nobody! We all want to be the ones to say I knew it. We hate surprises , but then again we root for them especially if a team or player has garnered so much success. America Loves success , as long its not excess. We hate losers , but we can only tolerate a winner or Champion for short periods of time. The 1985 Chicago Bears , Rocky Marciano's 6 year reign as heavy weight Champion, and countless others, serve as emblems of the American Dream , but once you become a dynasty , We Americans , turn our backs and root for the underdog.. The New Navy.. based on shipmates opinions..
THE NEW NAVY.. based on Shipmates opinions..
Today's Navy is different from the old days.. Is that good or bad, It's different! I mean back in the day , they had fan room counseling , blanket parties , in other words , no counseling chits , more like fists of fury, and then back to normal.. But today is alot of counseling chits , verbals,, etc,, I've written people up in my day but in the few months on board this command , I have written more chits , ever , in my career. Hands down, this has been the most stressful , painful , frustrating experience. The young bloods ask me how did u do it? Serve 20 years.. I say .. discipline , mind strength and extreme patience. I'm not saying I said or done things that were inappropriate or demeaning , but you live and learn. If you don't like being told things , or being micro managed , or built up then destroyed in in one day. I suggest you avoid Military service. Because you will run the gamut from excitement to boredom, to fear , to anger to frustration, to what the hell? In a matter of minutes or hours. Many times , you need to be able to shake off the emotions , and go on. You will be tasked beyond belief and expected to perform at levels you Can never imagine in the civilian world. You are expected to be on top of things at a young age. I see these young kids and everyone , including myself expect these kids to step up. Fairly or unfairly I expect you to hold your own, whether its standing watch , or fire fighting , We expect you to do your thing. I know at times I get nervous about things and I'm a 19 year veteran, but I push my fears and insecurities and Press on.. Its what a true sailor or sea warrior does, he or she finds a way, no matter what. But my desire and pride in myself is what gets me through the obstacles and qualification's I need to do. I also have a loving and caring wife and two wonderful sons who look up top me to do whats needed. Standing 12 hour watches in the heat of the gulf , or low vis on the cold California coastline. You name it I do it, working parties , causative research , reports , many times all that I mentioned in one day. That's why Sailors , when that call goes out .." LIBERTY CALL , LIBERTY CALL,, " WE know what to do,, drink merry , relax, music ,sports , working on cars,whatever , you need to de compress and do what you like or love to do.. Because every day in the navy is different and has challenges and frustrations that only a sailor or military member knows.. Civilians you think you , but you have no idea,, until you do it.. It's true when it comes to Military life,, you can find out whose real and whose a poser.. easy,.. Because certain terms " FTN " Sound powered phones , waterlines..., BA status,, SK , LS,, AIR DALE .. unless you been in , you have no clue.. But those who know .. Carry on ship mates.. because we all want that one things job security and ultimately the retirement -- that lifetime check that goes with you forever.. Is is worth it? Right now ,, It feels like a chore , but when that retirement day comes and that monthly check keeps coming in year after year,, then it will be significant..Today's Navy is tough , the PTS , HYT, the new PFA standards are all going to filter out the gung ho . sailors.. My advice.. Be aggressive , get educated and save your money , and if that dreaded days comes for you to leave.. You are ready.. Because life is cruel, it waits on no one.. Ready or not.. time wasted not pursuing your goals and dreams is time lost. I know Ive said sea time is lost time. But in the end I get paid for it.. For those with no job or income lost time is lost time.. and the more you wait or hesitate , the farther you get , because time lost is gone forever.. Letting time go , and thinking about what you want is truly wasteful time , in order to get what you want you have to live life and pursue goals.. I deserve all that I have and have no shame in what I buy or own. Because I stood the 1000 watches and worked the hundreds of working parties and spent many years away from family to build and create a solid foundation for my family's future. The New Navy is better , but you have to stay ahead to stay in.. The days of just hanging on, are over.. Only the best survive and the ones that are able to change and adjust..

Fairly or unfairly I expect you to hold your own, whether its standing watch , or fire fighting , We expect you to do your thing. I know at times I get nervous about things and I'm a 19 year veteran, but I push my fears and insecurities and Press on.. Its what a true sailor or sea warrior does, he or she finds a way, no matter what. But my desire and pride in myself is what gets me through the obstacles and qualification's I need to do. I also have a loving and caring wife and two wonderful sons who look up top me to do whats needed. Standing 12 hour watches in the heat of the gulf , or low vis on the cold California coastline. You name it I do it, working parties , causative research , reports , many times all that I mentioned in one day. That's why Sailors , when that call goes out .." LIBERTY CALL , LIBERTY CALL,, " WE know what to do,, drink merry , relax, music ,sports , working on cars,whatever , you need to de compress and do what you like or love to do.. Because every day in the navy is different and has challenges and frustrations that only a sailor or military member knows.. Civilians you think you , but you have no idea,, until you do it.. It's true when it comes to Military life,, you can find out whose real and whose a poser.. easy,.. Because certain terms " FTN " Sound powered phones , waterlines..., BA status,, SK , LS,, AIR DALE .. unless you been in , you have no clue.. But those who know .. Carry on ship mates.. because we all want that one things job security and ultimately the retirement -- that lifetime check that goes with you forever.. Is is worth it? Right now ,, It feels like a chore , but when that retirement day comes and that monthly check keeps coming in year after year,, then it will be significant..Today's Navy is tough , the PTS , HYT, the new PFA standards are all going to filter out the gung ho . sailors.. My advice.. Be aggressive , get educated and save your money , and if that dreaded days comes for you to leave.. You are ready.. Because life is cruel, it waits on no one.. Ready or not.. time wasted not pursuing your goals and dreams is time lost. I know Ive said sea time is lost time. But in the end I get paid for it.. For those with no job or income lost time is lost time.. and the more you wait or hesitate , the farther you get , because time lost is gone forever.. Letting time go , and thinking about what you want is truly wasteful time , in order to get what you want you have to live life and pursue goals.. I deserve all that I have and have no shame in what I buy or own. Because I stood the 1000 watches and worked the hundreds of working parties and spent many years away from family to build and create a solid foundation for my family's future. The New Navy is better , but you have to stay ahead to stay in.. The days of just hanging on, are over.. Only the best survive and the ones that are able to change and adjust..

NBA PREDICTIONS 2011..
NBA PREDICTIONS....2011 PLAY OFFS..
THE THUNDER will out play and out hustle the very good Dallas Mavericks. I mean beating the two time defending Champion Lakers was awesome , but in a way , not really. Lets be honest the Lakers - or the Fakers this year didn't play Laker ball. Why? Age ? worn out ? or sick of Kobe's Bully , selfish , arrogant ways. The lakers just simply quit and folded. What a shame to send the NBA's most accomplished Coach , away that way. But like Real life , the endings are rarely fairy tale. Many times the final years of all great players and coaches are .. forgettable. Michael Jordan with the Wizards , or Ali against Larry Holmes.. Ok , enough of that The young and talented Thunder will upset the favored and more experienced Mavericks.. A new Era for the NBA..
The other side . You have to love the Chicago Bulls, love the uniforms, the history , the energy , I mean you don't win the most games , by being average or good. They are a great team ready to show their stuff. Ok. I know the Heat is playing great Ball , The Big three .. Super stars.. if they play light out .. its their series to win. But I see that ego , and selfishness and of course karma , play into their heads. I mean they will win some championships during their time together, but not yet. I see the better teams beat the most talented teams. I mean just look at the Lakers . talent , height , skill every where . But they weren't together , they didnt play as a team the whole year . They were dysfunctional at best, Kobe was the reason they won alot of games , but when he was not into it, they lost badly , just like the playoff sweep. When Kobe game was off , so was the rest.. Many decisions for the Lakers this off season.. I see alot of changes , a new coach , new players , a different Kobe, lets be honest Kobe is on his last legs, his turning 33 , yea, still young in real life time span, but in sports , especially he started pros at 17 yrs old. He's an old man, and the nagging injuries the past few years has shown he doesn't play the high level he used to. I don't see the slam dunks or the challenging the rims , like days past. I see a shooting kobe, and a defensive on, because the knees and ankles and other ailment's are preventing him from being that player anymore.
Final say : Ok Thunder will face the young bulls from Chi - town, in a wild and fun NBA Finals,, who wins it all ?? The return to glory ,, The Mighty Chicago Bulls win the Championship and bring happiness and joy to the windy city and perhaps a new dynasty in the NBA. I know alot of you say , I'm crazy , yea,, My LAKE SHOW GONE.. I don't want the Mavericks to win, the line of thinking " you root for the team that beat you.. Hell no, I don't want them to win and the hell I will root for them. My Mama's Legacy.. inspired story by my friends...
My Mama's Legacy..
First off, I would like to Say happy mothers day to all of you that shared time with your mama. Embrace it and enjoy it. Because Life is so unpredictable. Once upon a time I had a wonderful , caring mama, who showed me the way. To treat people with respect and honor. I loved her very much and I still do. But when I went overseas to Japan, i got the dreaded phone call , and word mama was very sick. But I did get a chance to talk to her and she sounded wonderful.. But after I hanged up , I had this sickening feeling in my heart , so I immediately asked to go on emergency leave and make that long flight back to USA , SAN DIEGO.. but.. I was too late .. a day late .. and guess what ? Yup My flight was delayed exactly one day due to snow in the Nevada Mountains .. Oh well. God works in mysterious ways.. I mean My best fiend told me. its better this way , you were too close to your mom.. to see her go, it would of ruined you.. But guess what , it did already.. I became a mean and angry guy. in fact it took years to recover , and the alcohol , and the partying was , well , excessive and abusive. The strain on my family , myself, my liver if i still have one. But most of all my career,,. But guess what time does heal all wounds. I recovered and return to San Diego , well kind of., work or stationed in San Diego , but Live in The Temecula Valley areas.. a peaceful , scenic area with mountain's in the back ground and the most birds i have ever seen in my life , as well as field rats ,snakes, gophers, mountain lions, jack rabbits, possums.. yup.. wild life in my back yard. But anyways. I came back and got reacquainted with family and friends, Parties, get together , picnics, I love it.. But at times .. I get home sick or in this case mama sick. I miss those days when I used to get up at 4:00 am and do my ritual morning run on Palm ave , near Montgomery High to the Pits.. I used to see border patrol and illegal aliens every morning.. Well Mama would be up doing her home business catering , making lumpias , baking goods, and she would say " Go to sleep son, its too early, and I would smile and hug and kiss her on the cheek.. Oh mom,, this is what i love to do.. She would smile , then return to her workings.. I miss that , God knows . I miss those small moments I shared with her. But I realize now, the lessons she taught me about being a man , and knowing what to do and when to do it were great lessons. I mean , she said always respect a woman and never harm one. Honor her and give her the respect .. Just like I respected my mama.. I know i lost touch of that, especially I work in a very stressful environment. I see alot of misery and pain, and I sacrifice alot of time in my career. Its a tough life and at times I amaze myself on how long I have done this. But its all due to the legacy of My mama.. Be strong , Be the Man and do whats right. Never surrender and always remember to pray. The Lord will give you strength and believe me, He has given me so much power to survive the many trials and tribulations i have endured in my career in the Armed Forces.. nothing comes easy , or for free. I'm thankful that I have maintained My mama's legacy by being true to myself and my family.. Mama . I miss you dearly , but your legacy lives on through me being every bit of you in the way i carry myself and treat others who encounter me on a daily basis.. My mama's legacy lives on through me.. !! Death of a Dynasty - Lakers fall from grace..
Just like last week May 1, 2011 we witnessed the death or the news of the killing of the World's or America's most wanted man - criminal - terrorist. Osama Bin Laden, America was in a frenzy , flag waving Americans , at the White House , and across the country I saw Proud American waving their flags from cars and backs of pick up trucks. Beautiful to see. America at its best, The spirit of America..
May 8, 2011 , we saw the disaster and the fall from grace from one of the proudest , and most successful NBA franchises , The LOS ANGELES LAKERS, the fragrant fouls by Bynun and Odum and the total quit job by Gasol and the laker bench was frustrating and humiliating for Coach Phil Jackson. The usually mild manner Phil Jackson , became a angry one when at one instance was pounding Gasols chest to get him to respond. The disgust and bewilderment on Phils face was worth a million dollars. It was a total meltdown and embarrassment by a proud team. My line of thinking is the Lakers team, felt its better to lose on the road , than to be humiliated at LA.. Maybe a stretch , but it what I felt they were thinking..
Why? did this happen? Dallas is a better team,. they play better defense and they were peaking at the right time.. Bear in mind the Lakers have won back to back championships , and got the best efforts by all teams every night , day and week.. They saw the best efforts,, so it wears you down,.,.But it that what really shut this team down?
NO! , This may shock you or even piss you off , Laker Fans,., but the truth is , according to LA times reports , Kobe is the blame.. Just like years ago with Shaq and the betrayal of those team mates, he decides to betray his big man Gasol.. That's why he disappeared or basically stop playing ,, he thought " the hell with Kobe, he ruins my life ,, !" I mean there is a man code among guys , whether or not you agree with that, real mean don't rat out or talk about what goes on in the Locker room or parties ,, you know,.. I mean , Kobe is a cheater , a raper and a hypocrite , it wasn't he team mates that ratted him years ago.. It was that young girl that was so offended and belittled by Kobe , and his actions. But Kobe thinks money solves everything , I mean he paid her off and paid his wife off with lavish gifts, but Lets be honest , Once a rat always a rat,, he separates himself from the team because , he doesn't want his business out there. Right?, what better way to cover up stuff ,if your team mates don't like you and don't want to hang out with you. Its just a train of thought that I feel Kobe believes in.. I never Liked Kobe , something about his phony smile and his arrogant attitude. I'm sure there are alot of Laker fans that feel this way, but turn their cheek so to speak , because he's a amazing player to watch.. But he's no leader of men,..,I would take Magic Johnson , Kareem Abdul Jabbar, James worthy, and those wonderful lakers of past , over this generation of Lakers,, it's like Bynum said we have trust issues,, and This team as constructed now , cant play together, I see Gasol , Bynum , and even ODOM , and Fisher all gone next year, new coach , new players.. But whose is the next Superstar Dwight Howard.. that would be amazing , but advice to you Dwight, Don't tell or share anything with Kobe , he will betray faster than you ever imagined. The Lakers will be back , and rebuild and probably win with Kobe a his new assembled crew.. But the fact remains , as long as Kobe leads this team , many people will hate the lakers , and wish for there demise.. Just like now.. It not the fact the Lakers lost , but how undignified they behaved, Bynums fragrant foul on a guy half his size is unforgivable under any circumstance,, Atleast Odum fouled someone closer to his size,, but it just show the lack of class and respect these so called champions are. A true champion doesn't embarrass himself or the legacy of a great franchise.. So , expect changes , expect growing pains,, and expect alot of people happy that the Lakers - rapers , fakers , are done.. Sports endings often never end happy or perfect. Boxers fight one fight too many. Players stay around too long and hurt their image with poor performances. Sports is the most honest activity you can partake in. If your great , you will excel , if you lose a step or have less strength and stamina than your opponent, you get beat, No mercy..The Sports Gods are Brutal and decisive. They have no feelings , other than they want perfection and excellence for their players. When your done ,a sports death so to speak is hurtful and quick. The death of this Dynasty , was more locker room trust than on court abilities. The fine line between Champion and chump is so thin.. The Lakers not only crossed that line , but fell from grace because of their actions and failure to accept defeat like a true champion. Shame on you Lakers and you wonder why people or fans don't like your arrogant , classless , and taunting ways, that's not how you carry yourself.. Ask Magic Johnson and those lakers ,, I loved those guys and still do,, these lakers are not even close to their class and dignity. Magic Johnson or Kobe,, I pick Magic all the time!!

PACQUIAO FIGHT.. the memories.. May 7,2011
Pacquaio fight - The memories.......May 7 , 2011..
First off , it almost didn't happen.. I mean , I almost didn't go,, But that's personal. and out of respect of my family. I will leave it at that. A fight before the fight ? Yeah. Getting to THE MGM was a brutal maze of fighting the most Limos , I have ever seen. I saw stars galore, Bong Revilla, Bert sugar Randolph, famous ESPN writer , historian , Bradley the next future opponent of Pacquaio ,LL COOL J sang the entrance song " MAMA'S gonna knock you out!" I replaced it with :" Manny's gonna knock you out!" Jamie Foxx's rendition of God Bless America and the crowd singing along was spiritual and uplifting. The taunts and pride by the mosely crowd was amazing if not unreal. I was boastful and playful ,. I threw combinations that Manny would of been proud of. I shook hands and high fived strangers with Pacman gear or flags. I had drunk white dudes , celebrate with me .. It was a exciting night , The Knockdown was awesome , then my rendition of cut throat , wwf wrestling taunting was off the hook.. Di someone record it. I'm sure it was.. I mean I was on the brink of being fanatical and outrageous,,. But get this , No one dared challenge me. I mean once upon a time I was a boxer and the pinches I threw were pretty good, and I may be short , but I consider myself a stocky short guy , and I can look mean , if innate too, But the energy i had and the fact the majority of the crowd was rooting for Manny gave me a unfair advantage.. Was it classless , was in borderline ,, cruel. Yeah.. Go home losers as the fans left ,. where;s no weather , or Mayflower ,, or gayweather? I mean.. We want him! I chanted.. But to no response from the heart broken Mosley fans, I saw it tin their eyes and actions. Total shock and disappointment that a fighter of Manny's stature could be so dominating and predictable. He not only kicked Moselys butt, he humbled him beyond comprehension,. After the fight he admitted without questioning , that Manny hits harder and is faster than any other fighter he has ever faced. Didnt Mosley just fight Mayweather a a year ago.? ok,, I know he's suffering from post fight trauma and brian damage. I mean his face was a swollen red piece of meat. The eyes were blood shot and his looked every bit of 39 years old. Mosley like the fans I taunted that night were in shock , in denial,, totally heart broken. They all thought his style ,his experience , his African American moves were going through Manny off. The only thing Mosley threw was the fight.. He not only stop fighting , but he disgusted his fans by putting on a Mayweather like boxing performance, hit and run. and grab and hold,,, boring... he became what he hated, just to protect his record of never knocked out in his career. But in reality , he did suffer a knock out, because no one , including his die hard faithful , will want or trust he will fight to win.. The walking on the Vegas strip and hearing the many fans high five me,. and chanting Pacquiao was uplifting and amazing. Mostly from White America.. They have adopted Manny as one of their own. Because he has humbled , some of the most out spoken , cocky groups in America. For another night I was a loud , proud , boastful fan of one of the greatest fighters ever. The marketing of Manny is Vegas is amazing , I saw shops and stores and even a Nike Shop all dedicated with Manny gear, from Jackets , shoes, sweaters, Jersey, shirts , hats. you name it.. I was in complete awe, in how far Manny hysteria has become.. I've been rooting for him for almost 10 years, first watching him on ARMED FORCES TV IN JAPAN.. and finally seeing him in 2003 , The Morales fight ,, I was hooked and I will remain taking the long trip to Vegas and support and cheer on a true legend. I know this cants last forever , but the many fight memories I have will last a lifetime... The memories are many and the anticipation for more Manny Pacquiao fights are in measurable. I want to see more , because greatness like his comes around once in a lifetime.. Mayweather , stop the nonsense and prove through not words that you are the baddest man on earth,. You are as quick and and as young and skill full or even more so than Manny , then why not? The money will be tremendous , the hype and attention will be unreal.. The result .. depends if you fight to win,, or fight to survive .. Either way , you need manny more than he needs you.. He has the fame , fortune and the fans proclamation as the Worlds Best fighter.. like what manny said after the fight " I don't care about fighting Mayweather , I just want to fight , the fans want this , so I want what the fans want.. Unfortunately , Mayweather wants to protect his unbeaten streak and is willing to be called Coward, afraid , than to ruin his unbeaten record. What a shame, for one night , we could of seen boxing at the height of every ones world, like it should be. But instead , we will be unfulfilled.. First off , it almost didn't happen.. I mean , I almost didn't go,, But that's personal. and out of respect of my family. I will leave it at that. A fight before the fight ? Yeah. Getting to THE MGM was a brutal maze of fighting the most Limos , I have ever seen. I saw stars galore, Bong Revilla, Bert sugar Randolph, famous ESPN writer , historian , Bradley the next future opponent of Pacquaio ,LL COOL J sang the entrance song " MAMA'S gonna knock you out!" I replaced it with :" Manny's gonna knock you out!" Jamie Foxx's rendition of God Bless America and the crowd singing along was spiritual and uplifting. The taunts and pride by the mosely crowd was amazing if not unreal. I was boastful and playful ,. I threw combinations that Manny would of been proud of. I shook hands and high fived strangers with Pacman gear or flags. I had drunk white dudes , celebrate with me .. It was a exciting night , The Knockdown was awesome , then my rendition of cut throat , wwf wrestling taunting was off the hook.. Di someone record it. I'm sure it was.. I mean I was on the brink of being fanatical and outrageous,,. But get this , No one dared challenge me. I mean once upon a time I was a boxer and the pinches I threw were pretty good, and I may be short , but I consider myself a stocky short guy , and I can look mean , if innate too, But the energy i had and the fact the majority of the crowd was rooting for Manny gave me a unfair advantage.. Was it classless , was in borderline ,, cruel. Yeah.. Go home losers as the fans left ,. where;s no weather , or Mayflower ,, or gayweather? I mean.. We want him! I chanted.. But to no response from the heart broken Mosley fans, I saw it tin their eyes and actions. Total shock and disappointment that a fighter of Manny's stature could be so dominating and predictable. He not only kicked Moselys butt, he humbled him beyond comprehension,. After the fight he admitted without questioning , that Manny hits harder and is faster than any other fighter he has ever faced. Didnt Mosley just fight Mayweather a a year ago.? ok,, I know he's suffering from post fight trauma and brian damage. I mean his face was a swollen red piece of meat. The eyes were blood shot and his looked every bit of 39 years old. Mosley like the fans I taunted that night were in shock , in denial,, totally heart broken. They all thought his style ,his experience , his African American moves were going through Manny off. The only thing Mosley threw was the fight.. He not only stop fighting , but he disgusted his fans by putting on a Mayweather like boxing performance, hit and run. and grab and hold,,, boring... he became what he hated, just to protect his record of never knocked out in his career. But in reality , he did suffer a knock out, because no one , including his die hard faithful , will want or trust he will fight to win.. The walking on the Vegas strip and hearing the many fans high five me,. and chanting Pacquiao was uplifting and amazing. Mostly from White America.. They have adopted Manny as one of their own. MID LIFE CRISIS?! based on actual events from someone I know..
What is Mid life crisis? It's when someone hits the half way point of life. Think about it average life span is what 72 - 76 YEARS of age. That's a healthy person , now take away years of smoking , years of heavy drinking , years of military stress , lack of sleep , not eating right , high blood pressure , mental duress , sadness , traumatic events, take away 5 - ten years , now that puts you at 71 - 66 years of age. So, when a person hits their 40's it's a clear indication you have lived a major part of your life. I mean the teenage years , the prime years of athlectic ability , sexual activity.. The next twenty years or so , is down hill.. I mean things don't improve , your health gets worst , you lose hair, you feel aches and pains , you get wrinkles, memory starts to play tricks on you , your vision or perspective on life is set. What happens, well you begin to recall the teenage days, the reckless behaviour , harsh comments , the hyper ness the in patience of personality. Its really hard to see a good person become a teenager again, he or she feels young again, tries to act young , in reality , they are in denial, they are fearful of their immortality , the end is not near but its getting there. You see your kids grown up you see your nieces and nephews as adults , you see life passing you by. For a person in this crisis , they cant or wont accept the fact , time is flying by. They dictate their wants and needs based on what they always wanted instead of what they need. They want to hang on to youth , even though they see the wrinkles and scars on their faces , age spots growing larger and larger. What is a person to do ? I mean its a phase just like any other in life , but I feel this phase is the most troublesome because life is hitting its peak. Foe those us , its scary. I know alot of us still try to maintain our health, by exercising , getting rest , but we all know father time has no mercy. The years of working out , running , staying out in the sun , or dieting , all affect us in a bad and a good way. The stressors we put our bodies , betrays us in our older years. I know I feel more pain now than ever in my life. It takes longer to recover after a work out and when we do get hurt , it takes a while to recover. Life is cruel, it has no heart , it doesn't care if you didn't mean to stress your heart , or body in our younger years, once the damage is done, its done.. The only way to stop or control damage to organs is to stop drinking , smoking , but that takes years, How much time do we have? Personally , I don't really want to know because , imagine if we did , we would be miserable up until the day we died.. Its better that we don't know.. We Mid lifers need to take hold of ourselves and enjoy each day. I know we are inpatient with the new generation and we often say mean things , but life experiences has affected our perspective. For those folks seeing their loved ones going through this , may say " its heart breaking to see and experience because at times the words they say or write hurt more than punch or kick to the face. What to do? Be patient , be understanding , be flexible.. Be ware!! The saying " Love kills slowly !" that's true in regards to any activity you partake in. Love of alcohol . love of sports love of thyself. if controlled it can help you deal with the issues of life.. If uncontrolled it can consume you and ultimately kill you one way or another. At times the hardest thing to control is something you cant see or touch or even feel. The Mid life Crisis is that thing you cant hold in a container or take a picture of . SUGAR " SHAME " MOSELY.. took the Money and ran...
Sugar " Shame Mosely" took the money and ran, side stepped and held onto to his career long record of never being knocked out. After that knock down early in the fight and that look on his face " Like what the FTYR$#@ just ran over me.?" He decided " Hell no , am I going to go to toe to toe with this monster. So, like so many others before him , he decided to protect himself, cover up , back up, pretend to fight. Its like the old saying " It takes two to tango , like dancing or a fight , if the other guy or girl .. doesn't want to exchange punches , this is what you get.. The leg injury , maybe not an excuse , but makes sense, Manny just didn't look like the Manny I usually see. No shame there , over training can do that to you. But like a true warrior , he fought off the pain , and still fought one of his best defensive fights , and still managed a hard enough shot to put down and scare to death one of the best chin fighters in the history of the game.. That was amazing to watch. The fans , we booed the action not Manny, its was more directed at the Posing , holding , running Mosely.. He has always been the aggressive , punch crazy fighter , but for the first time and perhaps the last time in his boxing career. He decided to be A slick Boxing, defensive style , which honestly fits his physical makeup , but because of desire or training , became a aggressive crowd pleasing warrior. That's why I'm upset and many other boxing fans , because he was that tough , fearless fighter that threw caution in the wind. The styles and make up of both fighters dictated that. But instead , we saw a scared , defensive , protective fighter , throw a handful of punches to make it look like he was trying to fight, ala " Joshua Clottey>>" What we saw was a combination of Clottey and Margarito, two fighters that were willing to take punches , but not willing to take risks, they consider going the distance more honorable than trying to win the fight and impressing the crowd.. I say what a Shameful display by the Sugar man, he not only tarnished his career , but also eliminates him once and for all as a true contender for any more title shots. I know I would not pay to watch him again , as well as the other guys that didn't try, Clottey , Margarito, now Mosely. I give alot of respect for Miguel Cotto , the Puerto Rican pride.. He fought his butt off and on more than one ocassion , shook Manny up.. Cotto was knocked out , but he fought till the end with the style that got him there. Unlike Mosely , he betrayed his fans and himself, with that Mayweather like style. Ugly.. Good riddance to you , go take your money and good luck with your new special someone.. and Shame on you , taking the fans hard earned money for that dreadful , lack luster efforts. I honestly believe in Karma " What comes around goes around. " The betrayal you bestowed upon your fans , to protect your image , will someday betray you when it comes to future marketing or endorsements. You not only quit in the fight , but you quit on your fans and the Boxing world, by not being true to one self. I give more respect to Morales and Cotto , Barrera , Marquez , and even Hatton , who fought their styles and for better or worse gave the fans theirs money worth , with a amazing efforts. You were regarded as one of the greatest fighters , who never backed down. It's ironic how one fight can ruin an image , like Duran , or Spinks , Buster Douglas before you they embarrassed themselves with such non efforts that has stayed with their legacy despite tremendous accomplishments. Shame on you Sugar Shame Mosely , I hope the money you took from me and your fans , make you feel good. MANNY PACQUIAO - A TRUE FILIPINO CHAMPION..
May 7, was a great day I witnessed a True Champion at the MGM Grand.. I saw a man who tries his best in every fight , Win, Lose or draw, I've seen all facets of that. The great Wins against Morales, Marquez, Hatton and now Mosley , to the loss to Morales and the draw to Marquez. Everyone one of those moments , took it like a man. I mean , you know he was hurting , embarrassed , disappointed , but he took on the Media storm, questioning his heart , desire , dedication , strategy. and he would smile , apologize and say he would do better. Guess what , he has thousand times over. He is always the shorter man , the lighter man, the man whose humble beginnings is amazing. He was a poor kid , with no father figure and everything he got he fought for , hustled , bullied , whatever , he never took hand outs and begged , he worked hard to be what he is today.. Which is the baddest man on the planet. He has defeated many champions against all odds. But the greatest triat or skill I most admire his humility. He's humble to the max.. He respects all fighters, and honors the sport by giving his all, Training hard, learning , and improving on his skills. May 7 , was not his best night , because of leg issues,, maybe playing basketball weeks before fight was not wise. Perhaps , age is starting to creep in. But despite his 100% condition , he nearly knocked out Mosely and still dominated the fight. Mosely was so shocked and scared of Mannys power, he fought a mayweather type of fight.. Guess what , I dont need to see a Mayweather fight , because we just saw it.. Mayweather will run better and elude better than Mosely and thus giving us a boring fight. Manny shows class, respect and honor , something alot of his fans including myself, should take into account when watching him. I love how he approaches training and how he respects his corner men and always is open to advice and strategic suggestions. He's a true fighter, that knows , anything is possible and never since his loss and draw years ago, keep those feelings of failure and trains his mind and body like no other fighter ever. Boxing is physical , but his Mental strength is amazing, He has so many distractions , and naysayers and he seems to thrive on the circus act atmosphere when most other fighters have been caught up and lose focus. Manny's domination of boxing has been a great 10 year run starting back in 2001. I love going to his fights and I will continue to watch this legend until he calls it a career. I love the energy he creates and the fan love fest we have for him , watching the Proud Filipino's draped in The Pilipinas Flag and running proudly around the Arena was fantastic was awesome. The high fiving , smiles and cheering was infectious and addictive. That's why I'm a fan of boxing and Manny, I see the human spirit rise above all to a level I have never seen in all my years of watching sporting events, Not Ali, or Lakers, Chargers , Padres , Clippers,, Aztecs, or my sons football games have generated such emotion from me.. Manny is a true champion , a warrior and a class act. Its no wonder he has fans everywhere, America, Mexico , Philippines, United Kingdom because he's honest and hard working and humble , he never disrespects his opponents and give true honor , that we seldom see in sports or in life. He is my favorite sports figure and a Role Model I admire and would suggest for my kids and anyone else looking for a Human being that conducts himself as a Champion , no matter what the outcome! PACQUIAO VS, MOSLEY- My Analysis..
PACQUIAO VS MOSLEY .. My analysis...May 7, 2011..
As fight night gets closer , the excitement , the adrenaline , the emotions start to stir. I see a confident , brave and comfortable Manny. Mosley I see a quiet , almost calm non emotional approach to this fight. Why? Because he knows He he's fighting a Superstar , a fighter that comes around once in generation if ever. Manny trains all the time, he loves to fight. In fact , he gets insulted if you don't punch back. Mosley hasn't had a good fight in what 3 years,, Sure He ko'd Mayorga 12thrd , but Mayorga is a smoking , drinking undiscipline thug punk that is no where the level of Manny's past fights. Cotto, Mayorga , Hatton , Clottey , I would bet money all them beat the heck out of him. Mosleys chance is hurt Manny early like he did against Mayweather, because those Knock losses Manny suffered were early round Knockouts to the body. But even so, I don't think Mosley has the strength or power these days to finish him. But that's his punchers chance. If he thinks out lasting Manny is going to work , think again.. Manny gets stronger and more accurate as the fight goes on , and the hard , fast , accurate punching will deflate Mosley's old legs and reflexes. His pride as champion and experience in the big fights will help him to a point, but Father time , and the ravages of all those exchanges with hard punchers will finally betray Mosley. When the adrenaline and the emotion of the fight subsides , 2 or three rounds worth. The frustration of not being able to catch Manny and find him , will play havoc on Mosleys psyche. Just Like Delahoya , who was the bigger and stronger , faster man, the realization that Manny is much faster , much stronger and much more ambitious in his attack , which destroyed Oscars will to fight and ability to fight. Manny not only beats you , he retires you, he makes you think about pursuing another profession. His destruction of Margarito , still recovering from facial and eye damage was awesome. The near killing of Hatton, drove him to drug abuse , and Clottey , where is he ? In addition the Barrera's , Morales, Diaz, delahoya's have fought collectively one fight ,a Morales loss since pacquiao's destruction of them. Manny not only beats you physically , buy mentally tortures your soul and takes away any fight you think you have. Sugar Shane has tremendous pride and because of that will take more punishment and punches than he should, His corner or the referee , if they care for their man, should consider stopping the fight , once its gets too lopsided. Manny will win, and decisively so, but because Mayweather will not or has not agreed to a Super fight. Manny wants to show the world " HE'S THE BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET!" Mayweather one -sided victory will pale in comparison to Manny's destruction and Knock out of Mosley. Manny doesn't hate Mosely , but will use him to send a message to Mayweather and the world ,that not only did I beat the heck out of Mosley but I was the first to knock him out and to showcase the fact , I did something Mayweather couldn't. Like the Hatton 2 rd destruction , Mayweather took 12 rds..and nearly got KO HIMSELF.. Manny is using this as a exposition of his talent and skills , before he finishes out his career against Berto , Marquez, and whoever else ? Manny is no longer just fighting to win , to earn millions of dollars, he's adding to his legend , his legacy , his image to all Boxing fans and experts. He not only wants to be regarded as the best fighter now!! But the greatest fighter ever! For Mosley, he needs to fight a Mayweather style fighting and set traps and time his shots against Manny. As fight night gets closer , the excitement , the adrenaline , the emotions start to stir. I see a confident , brave and comfortable Manny. Mosley I see a quiet , almost calm non emotional approach to this fight. Why? Because he knows He he's fighting a Superstar , a fighter that comes around once in generation if ever. Manny trains all the time, he loves to fight. In fact , he gets insulted if you don't punch back. Mosley hasn't had a good fight in what 3 years,, Sure He ko'd Mayorga 12thrd , but Mayorga is a smoking , drinking undiscipline thug punk that is no where the level of Manny's past fights. Cotto, Mayorga , Hatton , Clottey , I would bet money all them beat the heck out of him. Mosleys chance is hurt Manny early like he did against Mayweather, because those Knock losses Manny suffered were early round Knockouts to the body. But even so, I don't think Mosley has the strength or power these days to finish him. But that's his punchers chance. If he thinks out lasting Manny is going to work , think again.. LAKERS LAST HURRAH..History is against them..
Lakers Last Hurrah ! Its not over , but its getting close.. NO team, Not a Michael Jordan , or Magic Johnson , Larry Bird team has ever come back from 3-0 deficit.. The Lakers are in a tough scenario, first off they have to travel to Texas,, and they have to win on the road.. They are the best team ever for play road winners , but this might be asking for too much . Just think about it. They had two home games with all of their players, now your asking them to play without their intimidating and best defensive player next to Kobe.. Plus suddenly Gasol , Bynum and Odum , cant wont dominate, when Kobe is struggling. Kobe is a great player , but he's not the same guys a couple years back , his injuries on his hand , and ankle are bothering him. But his public disdain and put down on his team mates is why they fall tonight. I see the Lakers getting blown out , because the issues thry have cant and wont be solved. Kobe is not a motivator like Magic Johnson,..when things go bad.. he points fingers and tries to take over the game , neglecting defense or team work. Sure the Lakers have talent , but they lack chemistry and real trust in one another. When a player starts bad mouthing others, its basically over.. The Lakers may pull these game out , but I dont see it. I see frustration On Phils face and disappointment in Kobe. I feel like Kobe feels his guys Gasol, Bynum and Odum are not pulling their weight.. Why? Perhaps they have grown tired of Kobe's moods or lack of. His not a fun guy to play with. Unlike Jordan . Shaq, Magic , he doesn't inspire you. The Lakers have pride and expect a good effort , but if things start to go bad,. and the crowd erupts, the Lakers will get smacked.. But I also see problems if its a close game.. But one thing is for sure tonight will be drama filled. Because will the Real lakers show up? Kobe needs to play defense and get his guys going, Kobe scoring 40 + will keep them in the game , But a well rounded play from all the Lakers is whats needed. Well we, honestly , I say the Lakers are in deep trouble.. Tonight's game is pivotal, a win keeps them in, a loss and the wall is too high to climb. a loss mean now they have to win 4 straight, which is not impossible, but they haven't shown they are capable of winning one. What I predict tonight , FAST START ..but then as the game and emotions start to rise , The dysfunctional , argumentative < hated Lakers will fall apart and Kobe will show his ugly self and just create a uncomfortable feeling during and after the game. In all my years watching laker ball, under Phil Jackson , he has looked disgusted , frustrated and finally irritated that his collection of stars and prima dona 's are not working out. Enjoy tonight because it maybe the last of the laker runs and a changing of the guard in the NBA. TEAMS LIKE THE BULLS , HEAT , THUNDER , MAVERICKS are teams that play better as a team and have chemistry, while the Lakers, Celtics and Spurs , are teams that suddenly are getting old, and tired. It's a transition for those teams and perhaps a need to rebuild with new stars , unproven stars and that may take a year or two before that happens.. Good Luck lakers .. tonight.. History is against your No team has won a series down 2-0 and no team had done it 3-0 , so History is in the making one way or another. But I expect a new Champion this year.. NBA PLAYOFFS.. A NEW CHAMPION ?!?!
2011 - I predict a New Champion !?!? CHICAGO BULLS OR MIAMI HEAT /
I know it's not over , and we still have alot of games to play. But Lets be real.. The lakers are in trouble . 2 games down,, ok. no big deal , The arrogant , ego maniac Kobe says.. We win the next game , then the next and we are ok.. Really? Kobe. your guys had two home games , 16 pt lead in the first one and lose, then totally outplayed in the second and lose the enforcer Ron Artest , because of a ruthless senseless foul. Yea,, they are in trouble.. They cant afford to lose another game.. They have to win four.. games with five games remaining.. Check the odds of doing that especially ,,now you have to go to Dallas Texas,, and They will be pumped up.. I see a sweep happening.. Because the lakers are tired , they are worn out , Kobe is hurt more than you think and Phil Jackson , has nor more magic speeches or sayings to help this team. Hey two time champions , 16 world championships.. Not bad.. But this year has been a study of how a team can win despite the fact they dont really like each other. Kobe is arrogant and foul mouthed, Gasol is aloof like Odum.. Fisher is past his prime , and the new bloods are a year or two of becoming steady play makers.. But laker fans still hope , But I see a new Champion crowned.. Miami. Chicago , or even the Dallas Mavericks.. But there is going to be a new champion and to be honest , that's a Good thing.,. People hate the Lakers , Celtics , because they have won more than any other team in NBA history.. But this years dream team THE HEAT - with those 3 big stars ,, who struggled at first then came on , They look like Champions and I would be surprised they do it this year and the next , and the next.. Manny Pacquiao BEATS Mosley like never before!! May 7, 2011
Manny Pacquiao is a 8 time Champion , first time In boxing History , he also has beaten a tremendous amount of champions and boxing legends, Barrera , Morales,Diaz, Delahoya, Margarito,Cotto, Hatton,
In fact he has retired more people than Social Security , remarked Boxing legend and Champion Bernard Hopkins.. In other words, Manny has conquered and fought so many champions and big names to establish him as one of the Greatest fighter ever. I know He was a 122 lbs fighter who fights as a 147 lbs guy who has continued to fight a high level and entertains the boxing world.. The Last bad or boring fight was Clottey , only because Clottey decided to be a punching bag and cover up more than a Super Model on a cold photo shoot. But Manny still put up a show of jabbing and sticking and moving and systematically show he can out box a fighter that doesn't want to fight.
This fight , Mosley wants to fight , but at 40 years old , past his prime , reduced power and speed, and discipline.. I mean he has money hungry people around him and hasn't fought a good fight in two years,, He had one good punch or round against Mayweather , but after that he was shut out and should of been knocked out. That night , he saw openings , but the reflexes , or lack of , were unable to pull the trigger. It's like when you see a opening in your mind or eyes, but the arms and the instinct's cant do it anymore,. I saw a game Mosley for two or three rounds against Mayweather , than after that , it was a boring one sided affair , where Money man , gave Mosley a big pay day and a shot at Manny. But logic tells me . Mosely will get a beat down, like no other fighter has ever seen. He lost to Sergio Mora , who's that? A contender Champion who has done nothing like the other 6 contender champions.. than Mora loses to a journey man nobody.. So yes, Mosley has lost alot of speed , power and even stamina , He got hit more against Mora or Mayweather than he has ever been hit.. Good thing those guys are not power punching Machines..
Enter the Pacman . he's still young and in his prime. He trains like a animal , and he loves to fight , I mean he fights with a joy , I haven't seen since Roberto Duran , Muhammad Ali,, but he's more disclpined and humble , so that he trains like he's fighting for the title for the first time.. I never gets to heavy or out of shape.. So , when he starts training.. he's concentrating on techniques and fight strategy , unlike the over weight , careless and reckless fighter that Duran and Ali were ,, they ate and drank too much and partied like theirs no tomorrow.. Which meant , they spend alot of the training camps losing weight than focusing on fight plans.. I mean they were successful , but Manny has been un real.. He has moved up in weight , retaining power and speed and motivation and has defeated many champions and showing no signs of slowing down. Manny is gonna Knock out Mosely , because he just too young , too fast and too strong. He not only punches hard , but is accurate and his footwork is unreal , because he can punch you , and step aways and hit you at another angle and do it often and accurately. This will wear down the aged Mosely and ultimately produce swelling on the eyes and weaken those legs that have looked shaky the past few years. Theres a reason he only fights once a year.. He doesn't have the stamina or strength to fight at a high level.. Manny is in his Prime. Mosely has not been there for about 5 years.. I hate to say it.. Mosely will take a beating because of pride , and the damage , eyes, face and brain will be substantial.. MY ANGEL .MY WIFE .MY LOVE..inspired story by someone I love dearly..
It was love at first sight for me,, and I sent flowers , pictures and invited her to parties , but she did not take notice. I waited , and waited and waited until one day I said to her" Why don't you call me or acknowledge my invites. She smiled and said " I'm already taken , I have a boyfriend.. ' My heart sank lower than ever in my life , more than when I was not picked for my football team , or when I finished 2nd place at Track meet , even though I was rated the fastest runner at school. I was devastated, it was like my dream became a nightmare. It was worse than going up to my first acting audition for a Taco Bell Commercial and was told I was too good looking , thanks but no thanks..
But for the first time in my life , I knew what I wanted and I was not going to let a boyfriend or what stop my search for love. I knew in my heart that Girl was for me. The more I talked to her , the more I realized this is a dream girl, she is smart , beautiful , kind and hard working and hard to get. Well , I made a proposal ," I bravely said" Look, give me one date , and if we don't get along , I will never bother you again. She was hesitant , and perhaps for good reason. I mean I was extremely flirty and aggressive , but That's how I am. I see something I like I don't mess around. I take it.. Well she reluctantly agreed and our " first date was made" I said " Hotel Del Crown room , expensive date , great food, great service , great wine.. I paid the bill , or at least I thought i did.. The waiter or wine man came running after us in the parking lot.. yelling Sir, sir, I'm sorry you forgot to pay for the wine.. I was a little embarrassed but My girl was accommodating , so I went back and paid for it. We then took a romantic walk along the coast line surrounding the Del , nice moonlight night and cool ocean breeze running along our bodies.. We talked , or to be honest I did,, surprised, I talked about myself , my wants , dreams and goals in life. I think she was impressed I saw a sparkle in her eye, and I held her hand and gave her a nice kiss. Guess what she kissed me back. I knew I made a impression. Needless to say the night was Magical and before you know it , We were a couple!! The work place was in a buzz , I mean the stud looking guy with the new pretty girl.. It was and still is a match made in heaven.. She has given many fond memories like the Birth of my two wonderful sons.. The gifts of love and patience because of the Career that takes me away months at a time. She was strong and she was patient. I'm not the easiest person to live with, I'm hyper , attention - seeking , show off , loud mouth - trash talking martial Arts trained Entertainer and writer.. I know she has been very patient with my wild behaviour , and I admire her will to tolerate my actions. For that I'm so thankful God has blessed me with the greatest Angel and wife I could ever dream of. The years together and the memories are so abundant I cant recount all . But The Japan Years, the Italy Vacation , the Philippine Vacations were exciting and unforgettable. The memory of watching My eldest son Surfing the Beaches of Hawaii is classic and wonderful.. The winning of Mel Bear at Del Mar Fair many years ago was fantastic , another story at another time. the Purchase of our dream home , my dream truck , Our walks and talks and the simple times together are what I really cherish. I love her and I admire here , She's My idol , My saviour , My life.. Without her, I'm nothing .. She never ceases to amaze me with her skill and wisdom and power to get me through the hard times , which has been many , My career is a hard , lonely and stressful one that forces you to do many things you don't like to do , Like OC SPRAY , LONG WATCHCES in the cold or hot weather.Numerous training on everything , many times repeated on a weekly and yearly basis. The high demands of my job , stresses me out , and often I say , write or do things that are hurtful , because I'm frustrated , but despite my shortcoming.. I have many.. She stands beside me and guides me.. Like an angel , Like a faithful and respectful wife , Like a loving friend and lover.. MAY 1- NEW HOLIDAY ? THE KILLING OF BIN LADEN..
MAY 1ST - NEW HOLIDAY - The killing of Bin Laden..
hooray!! The death of the most evil and hated terrorist of modern times, The killings of sailors on USS COLE , the massacre of American Soldiers in Somalia and of course the dreadful acts on New York on 911 , vindication and justice is served. I know it cant bring those lives back or bring any happiness for the loved ones , but finally we have closure and perhaps the beginning of the end of these lowlife , scum bags who has terrorized us for nearly ten years. We all suffered especially us, Military folks.. longer watches, longer under ways and deployments , more stress on training and increased security training and measures,, as seen with my FB entry of OC SPRAY.. ouch.. But knowing that Mastermind of evil is dead.. But I also know , that those dip shits will want revenge.. so expect added security in the coming weeks and months , but No fear.. i STILL BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEST MILITARY FORCE IN THE WORLD.. I'M so proud for the Military folks that accomplished this feat and I expect our forces to be ready for whatever comes our way.Theres no honor in dying for your country,, let those jerks die,.,.its been a long time coming and as a Military man,. I'm so happy and eager to share my thoughts and emotions with my shipmates. As for the American we protect , don't lose faith , we are fighting the fight , and even though we have less military men and women in the forces , the ones we have are dedicated to their mission. For many years , the only war we fought was boredom,. and now with this deal being sealed, I see a added pressure and mission for men in uniform. Am I ready ? I'm always ready to fight! Hail to the American Warriors and bless those of you who pray and honor are sacrifice and deaths. I suggest we declare May 1st as holiday... the end of the master mind and the beginning of the end of terror that has been with us for nearly ten years.. CHARGER DRAFT 2011 ANALYSIS.. inspired from ESPN,NFL NET, ETC..
Charger Draft 2011 Analysis...
Ok,, I give it a C grade why? I only like maybe the 1st rd pick,, He's fast , aggressive and the best player at the time, He's may not fit the Chargers style of play right now, but in time he will adjust , because the Bolts need a Pass rush, sure they were ranked No# 1 , but please that defense is average at best. The signings of CB and line backers ,, I see the Chargers trying to rebuild the special teams because honestly I don't see any of these picks as starters, maybe someday , but not now.. The Home town Pick from SDSU AZTEC, Vincent Brown, I like his route running and speed , But I see his physicality's or lack of muscle strength , playing a factor,, He needs to hit the gym with VJ and get on track. But then again they have been undersized skinny wrs that have been productive. He gives the Bolts a slot type pass catcher with great route running a added dimension to that potent offensive attack. Gates, Jackson , crayton , Floyd, Tutu, Mathews, Tolbert , now Brown,, who do you double cover or stop,, Give Rivers time,, I see big plays all day long..
The RB pick..hmm. interesting , something to test Mathews or keep Mathews thinking.. I mean , this guy is a down hill power runner with good speed , not as tall or big as mathews , but he can challenge if not be the back up or special team kick returner - sorry Sproles the writing is on the wall. No big money for you,, especially the Bolts drafted this kid,, As for the other linebackers on the team.. I see Cooper gone,, and maybe someone else,, But this Summer camp will be fun.. i wish the Bolts got more offensive line help , they did draft one.. but I see free agents and maybe a trade to protect Rivers,, because Philip goes down,, so does the season.. Billy Volek is a career back up , not a full time starter that can carry this team.. Protect Rivers this year and hopefully Mathews and Tolbert stay healthy and we have a awesome offensive attack.
My prediction for the Chargers,, 10-6 , 11-5 , wild card or division winner depending on the Chiefs,, The Raiders are good , I mean they swept the division , but I'm not sold on jason campbell or Mcfaddens durability.. The Chargers have a stretch on their schedule where they play 3 games on a short time frame.. and that may make or break their season.. They need to come out fast another , slow start will doom them to a 8-8 or 9-7 finish and another no playoff appearance,, The West is no longer weak, with the Chiefs and Raiders much improved , and the Broncos,, are in rebuilding mode , as well as the Bolts Special teams,, this draft indicates that they are rebuilding their special teams and hopefully building play makers for the future.. One things for sure the Bolts are going to exciting on offense and much improved on defense.. Now they make corrections to Special teams , we can win 2 0r 3 extra games from last year and finish 12- 4 , instead of 9-7 .. Lets start football, I.m so ready!! Are you?? Lessons from Church ..
It's strange or compelling how before Easter or Easter day , getting a seat means getting to church 30 minutes or more ahead of start time. But just a week after Easter , 30 minutes and , heck 10 minutes before theres seat aplenty. Oh well its the catholic way , I figure attend the most important dates and so and so attendance on the other dates, But who am I to make judgements, I mean your not obligated to attend all the time or 50 % of the time or ever. I mean as long as you worship the Lord and obey his laws , do you really need to go? At first glance , maybe not, But the Priest , the father , who has spent his lifetime , understanding the bible and the word,, is our teacher our advisor.. Today lessons how do you know? About anything ,, Experience - reasoning and finally faith. Yea, when all else fails , you rely on what people tell you right? For example : we all haven't done everything , and if you did , Id say your lying , but our experiences in life teaches us about things like first kiss, first love, first fight , etc,, As for reasoning , you use scientific methods or theory like if something goes up , eventually its gonna come down, whether that's your emotions or money in the bank. Nothing stays the same , so you figure out things by either removing ideas or looking at the facts.. But when that fails,.you, then you rely on man or woman . and that's where I have reservations. I feel at times people tell you what they see , and not what is actually there. I mean people judge people on their actions, even though you may of had a bad childhood or rough one like me, perhaps you have been mistreated in your life or career , which I can tell many stories on that. Or simply your own loved ones , not telling you whats wrong, hiding their true feelings or emotions. Hell , I'm guilty of that, in fact we are all guilty of that. So what are we to do.. We can only try to better our selves and be the best. For me.. I try , but I have a terrible temper, it's mean , its insensitive , it unreasonable and its powerful. it has and probably will get in trouble or confrontations. So what do I do, I try my darndest to avoid losing my temper, I joke , I laugh , I workout , I walk away, I mean when I'm pissed off and I confront someone and that someone even shows the slight sense of defiance I blow up , it has happen quite a few times , causing me to go to Jail on a few occasion's.. Was alcohol involved yea, but My temper has no boundaries, if its lit , it's on.. and Unfortunately my family , friends , co workers feel the wrath of anger, either through harsh words or actions or write up reports that has affected people careers and lives. The same judgements I lay on people , the same they do unto me.. I cant blame these people , What comes around goes around.. In other words , The lessons I learned today is use your experience and reasoning and if all else fails , you rely on people to tell you the truth or the real deal about you. I know it hurts when people point out things about you, I mean its human nature.. I learned to turn the cheek , or walk away to avoid conflict. It's tough to do, and often times I hate myself for having such stubborn and unreasonable behavior , but I'm only human and I hope everyone , even for a moment reflect upon that point.. I DANCE BETTER THAN HIGH SCHOOL TEENAGER- based on true events
I dance better than a High school performer.
Well I attended my Son's Ace of Breaks Dance performance here in Lake Elsinore,Ca. I enjoy those types of things, But the most funny or embarrassing thing was this kid when up there , of course with good intentions tried to do the jabbawockeez " Apology " dance routine, hey he had the moves down , perhaps better than me, but he was thinking too much , and not going with the flow of the music.. It was good I guess , but I'm better , because I feel the music and go with the beat, which is what Jabbawockeez dance routines are all about. If you watch them , the techniques are simple and clean, not the most daring stunts or moves , but they go with the music.. Just like I did when I was a long hair skinny kid in South San Diego , delaying school because I dance with a couple of brothers( black dudes) between classes, I m know it drove the teachers and counselors crazy trying to maintain control and get students to class. My fault , but I was a natural born performer , who didn't give a shit if it delayed classes for awhile. I mean going to class every day , the same subjects , same teachers , was boring, well most of the time. I wanted excitement at school and I created those moments , that I'm sure alot of my classmates recall or someone does. But anyways back to the performance, My youngest son , told me Pa, you can do better than that, I said oh yea,, But what am I trying to say" If your gonna perform anywhere, be committed to the movements and music,, Just being technically correct is not enough, follow the beat and go with the flow. I don't know I love watching performers , it just when I see one that was less than impressive , I cringe , Because I believe dancers , performers are a fraternity a club that wants good performances at all times.. Oh well, the lesson here is , take a look at what your doing , then commit to that movement and go wit the beats, if you do that your routine will be much better. Performers just do it, when your thinking about it too much , you already lost.. until the next event in my life take care >>THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011
