Wednesday Wisdoms- Why we Work ? Inspired by all of you!!
Hello Everyone another day down,another week, month , years, it seems the older we get the faster time seems to go by especially on our days off or not. But back to my subject. I must say I love all the postings from my high school classmates , my navy shipmates ,my wfg associates and my immediate family. If one thing is clear we all have our own passions for anything or everything. We have car Crazy guys and gals, we have Religious folks, the Football fans... from steeler town to Patriot ville , to high school to pop warner.. Like myself.. I love watching the kids, their is special spirit and passion they have that reminds me of my youth.. When your young or old.. if your passionate about something its really fun to see.. So with that I'm going to support my son in every way possible to see where this football journey takes him.. high school college.. Pro's.. Ok , maybe that too much to imagine but why not? But anyways.. Why we work? I know pay bills, pay bills pay down debt, pay mortgage..etc.. But I do it for Protection , security , peace of mind and providing for my family. I want my kids to enjoy their youth.. like myself.. I want my kids to have all the opportunities to succeed life is so fast and fleeting.. the idea that my kids would do without just pains me. so thats why we wok, that's why we seek anyways possible and of course legal to make money. The times are tough these days , but one thing is certain.. I will sacrifice things for my kids.. I want my kids to live their youths with no worry about finances.. That's why I work. that's why we all work.. Now if you don't have kids , then you have other priorities ,, nephews, nieces,, pets,, your wife or hubby..but one thing is clear we work to provide security for our futures , we want too prepare for the old age era, the golden years.. the time when your done working and ready to spend time with grand children and nephews and nieces, I really get a big kick when I see kid postings for their dancing and cheer leading or martial ARTS OR SPORTS RELATED POSTINGS.. I LOVE THEM ALL AND I LIVE FOR THAT. As we get older ,, we want the best for our kids and we also want the best for other kids.. We have to teach our kids and others to work together and pray for peace.. Life and the world is so unstable , wars, conflicts , rebellions, riots,, and that happens in the United States, the senseless killings of civilians and cops doesn't he;p anyone.. I don't want to hype up or sensationalize media news events , but we need to take charge of our kids and others tell them, when they do something wrong, that that's not the way.. One thing I know or see is that kids will listen if your credible if your worthy of their attention.. You have to earn the coaches respect by what you do not what you say.. your actions speak louder than anything you may say or write.. If you preach one thing and do another ,them people will not respond. So today , go out and practise what you preach and just remember why you work.. Why? you do the things you do.. For me its simple its all about the kids.. Its all about providing for the family. So when you can or have an opportunity seek out or learn about ways to save money , to make money grow and of course pay down debt.. If anything hurts family worse is debt like credit,, you think by buying it on sale ad placing it on a credit card,. saves you money ,, your are sadly mistaken.. Today is the day you start paying down debt, and start saving for the future,, Not only for your kids sake but when you get to the non working years , when society decides you cant work anymore ,, or simply mother nature playing havoc on your knees and joints and other health issues.. Enjoy your health today and never take that for granted , as well as spending time with your kids when they still want to hang out with you. Why we work.. ? I believe its a simple answer and its one that we all need to remind each other each day when the troubles and tribulation's of life seem to get the best of us.. Just take a quick break , smell the roses or flowers and think about why we suffer through inpatient people ,or cranky co workers , or the whiners of society , just stay focused and do what you do and give it your best because great things and blessings come to those that never give up and really care about humanity.. We need each other in life .. lets take care of each other.. Have a great day and remember to post on your mind .. Why I work ?? It will keep you going when times get tough ,, which is the cycle of life.. We must stay focused and passionate about life.. Life is meant to be lived.. So go out and live it!!

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS PREVIEW 2014 SEASON,, THE SOURCE,,,
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS PREVIEW 2014 SEASON - THE SOURCE..
Well San Diegans, another year to hope , dream , fantasize about a LOMBARDI TROPHY.. After the Dallas game we all had high hopes.. But after being beat down by the sea hawks and the niners.. 1st , second or third string players. Its obvious the Bolts can compete if their 1 st stringers don't get hurt, but this is the NFL, and you have to have quality back ups that can actually be starters on other teams.. As much as we like to think,, The bolts are going to need alot of help . To make the playoffs again.. Rivers needs another career year and Mathews needs to have another career year , as well as the defense that has played well in spurts , but lets see what happens in late Nov and December when the games get real intense. I like Coach McCoy, he;s a no nonsense coach but he stills needs to have that killer instinct , like a belichick like a Pete Carrol, like the Harbaugh brothers.. Those guys , pound and ground an make statements. This year its clear the Bolts are loaded on offense and have made strides in defense,, But I still see a lack of pass rushing and turnovers that separates you from you AND THE MASSES.. THE SEAHWAKS, THE STEELERS , THE RAVENS , BENGALS , ETC have that kind of defense and all of them I consider SUPERBOWL contenders.. They have a solid run game and have great defensive players.. The bolts are loaded on offense , but defensively we have a lot of hopefuls and potential talent breakers , but they haavent mad eit happen. Action speak louer than words and so the Butlers, the Ingrhams the atochou's weddles and teo' need to step up and make that defense special.. We will find out early in the season, playing NFC WEST STRONGHOLDS CARDINALS 10-6 last year and the SUPER BOWL CHAMPION SEAHAWKS.. We can be 2-0 or 0-2 very quickly and the schedule doesnt get easier.. But thats the NFL.. the no fair league,. So My take ,, the Bolts need to use gates and green more and use woodhead.. he caught 76 passes , I say ,, Make it 100 and get mathews into the mix too... having Floyd back will help the red zone offense because now the defense has to think about him , the great gates and the superstar keenan allen.. and of course the Royal treatment and green.. and lets not forget the spark plug woodhead and the talented Donald brown.. As a defensive coordinator I would worry about that charger offense,, Now its the defensse that many charger faithful worry about.. We can score , but we the bolts cant stop anyone its going to be a long year. My take ,, its hard to tell if the changes at corners Verret , and probowler Flowers ,,, and the Nigerian Nightmare in atochou will make a difference,,as fans we hope so.. But the first few games ,, we see if the bolts are up to the taskings.. My prediction ,, 2-0 with two hard fought wins away at Arizona and then coming home to give the fans a treat. Its early in the season and because the bolts are healthy and have all their weapons at hand..I can see the bolts scoring enough to beat the Cardinals and seahawks,, and prepare for another run to the playoffs.. But the key is staying healthy,, to be honest I'm concerned about Hardwicks neck issues and mathews providing a injury free season again.. In addition.. gates is still great but at 34 and 800+plus and many injuries and chronic foot issues.. This may be the end or nearing the end of one of the greatest tight ends in history.. The chargers will make it exciting and make alot of noise and lets hope the injuries blues stay away from the this team..because this team has the ability to beat the broncos , the ravens , the niners , seahawks of today.. if healthy.. and thats going to be the big question at the end of the year.. if the bolts,, and their back ups can stand up and be competitve against the other teams that are talented.. Its important the charger win a amajority of home game 6 out of 8 and break even on the road , the team finishes 10-6 and will be the wild card team no one wants to play.. But the bolts need home wins,, and usually means the offense is working well and no turnovers.. because regardless where you play you make too many mistakes,, its hard to win at home or on the road.. Now for the defense.. they have to get pressure and force turrnovers and scoring chances for the offense and vice versa.. The offense must score in the red zone and control the tempo of the game.. with strong runs by mathews, brown and woodehead.. The triple threat could be one of the most dynaic trios in the NFL.. Because they all have their special talents .. Lets hope they stay healthy, because the Bolts will need all 53 players to be on top of their game.. Its not going to be a easy , stress free season.. Its gonna be a dog fight every game, But if the bolts stays focused and the players stay passionate and healthy this team could be another BOSS ROSS 94 SUPERBOWL CONTENDING CHARGERS.. because on offense this team is much more talented and loaded than that team.. So if the FOOTBALL Gods are willing.. Some years later.. or 50 years later when they won the AFL championship,, that the numbers and stars are lining up well or the Bolts.. This is a make or break season.... Later in the year we fine citizens of San Diego have a chance to decide to pay or help pay for much needed stadium.. Just think about it fans.. Back into the SUPERBOWL ROTATION.. College bowl games revenue and other events like concerts or special events can create alot of much needed revenue for the city. But I think it depends on how well or how poorly the bolts play this year.. A another playoff year and strong run or even a Superbowl appearance,, might make the Conservative laid back San diegans reach into to their pockets to support a team that has provided 50 years of excitement and thrills,, to the Early AFL championship's years to the Air Coryell and Boss ROSS SUPERBOWL TEAM and of course the loaded and talented LT AND MARTY years ,, and the so called Nervous Norv years.. and now the Real McCoy years.. ITS NICE to see a rejuvenated and passionate team with high hopes and dreams,,, With the right moves and a little luck , look for the Chargers to make this a Championship run to the Title.. The bolts have made the right moves and the solid core players afe in tact,,, Rivers , Gates , Mathews, Weddle , Hardwick.. and others.. Lets get Chargerd up to a season to remember.. Just think back, Last year we hopeful and wishful.. Now we have talent , star makers and game changers in Allen , Floyd and Royal as well as Woodhead and Brown to make this team something to watch.. But like I said its the defense I'm looking at , to see who rises to the top.. Like atochou , like Teo, like freeney or Lieget.. to make this defense compliment the lightening striking offense and having a thunder bolting defense that will make some noise.. I don't know about you But I'm looking forward to another exciting season to cheer our hearts out and Lets see what happens?? Like I said We San Diegans have been dreaming and wishing for this magical season.. Why Not us? Why not this team.. In the past few years. Teams like the Giants and seahawks have had better than average offense , and overpowering defenses to upset powerhouses like the Patriots and Broncos. Why not a Elite offense with a powerhouse defense , finally bring the championship back to the AFC and finally have the AFC west teams having a SUPERBOWL RING AND TROPHY.. Its something long over due and its something that will be fun to watch.. Because no one ,, expects the chargers to be factor,, If anything last year was a fluke, a twist of fate a kind gift from the football Gods,, I mean suck up missing a chip shot field goal?? Kaeding choke kicks comes to mind.. and of course the collapse of ravens.. and Dolphins... helped the Bolts wonderful season. But lets see what happens now.. Because teams will now play harder and smarter against the bolts.. and expect a great effort from all the teams.. this year... But like this year NFL CATCH PHRASE,,,' WHY NOT US?.. because every season every fan has their hopes and dreams at the peak , as the season kicks off. It wont be easy , but the Chargers will find out early if they are true contenders or just merely pretenders..

But it begins with the fans,, and Opening day road and home game wins against the cardinals and SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS SEAHAWKS...

MARTY'S BLOG 2 - THE SCRIMMAGES .. AUG 24,2014..
Marty's BLOG 2 - THE SCRIMMAGES - AUG 24,2014..
Well My son Marty had two different scrimmage days.. One that was terrible he was injured on the 2nd play of scrimmage And then the round robin scrimmage where he has a monster day offense and defense Saturday he was fun to watch even though it was a tiring day for him He had 2 big runs,, One for 50 yds and the other for 25 yds and had big gains on most of his runs.. 10 runs 150 yds and 2 tds.. and some great defensive tackles.. But what I loved the most about him was his feisty attitude and toughness,, something I didn't expect or realize he had that. I mean in person hes the sweetest boy you can ever meet , But once he puts the helmet on,, its like the wild tiger comes out and I love it.. I love his spirit and passion when he plays and I love his team MATES, they are so supportive of him and they want him to do well. Unlike the thunder football team , he was a part of .. No offense ot criticism taken , but I was not happy with the favoritism and the unfair playing time.. But that's ok sometimes you need to be treated like dirt before you get the royal treatment. I mean I wouldn't push my sons talent onto a team if I thought he couldn't play ,but every time I saw him carry the ball he had big gains only to be taken out and replaced by a slower and less passionate player. But those days are over , Now as you all can see if your my facebook friend, the moves and speed my son has.. I mean it more than just running fast and hitting the hole, but its having the passion to break tackles and go for the touchdown,, My son Marty has the spirit or belief. false or highly overrated , that he thinks he can score on every play.. I mean ,, I enjoy watching him because he is fun to watch.. and I'm inviting my family and friends to watch him on Saturdays this next few months.. Because he is so fun to watch. I'm so proud of him I know he has some show boating in him , but he does it so smooth and graceful,, it doesn't seem like taunting.. if anything I'm impressed with the team work and the camaraderie's that this team has.. They are really pulling for one another and its refreshing. I'm really looking forward to this upcoming season and I will post his schedule and times of his upcoming games,, and if you cant make it,, I will post his actions on facebook.. or youtube,, By having a talented but humble son,, just makes me happy about life.. Its why we lucky few have kids.. We are happy when they do what we think they are capable of.. I know my wife wanted a soft spoken , musician.. but instead has humble trash talking football with attitude!!! Oh well,, enjoy life and until my next Marty Blog.. Take care and Be happy!

MARTYS BLOG - HIS FOOTBALL DAYS AUG 21, 2014..
Marty's Blog - His Football days Aug 21,2014..
Well what can I say ? I mean for every father or mother or guardian , to see your kid or kids play musical instruments or sports , or cheer leading or whatever its something to behold. For me, I had the great opportunity to watch my eldest play football, martial arts and do wonderful things in his youth. I will always cherish those pictures , videos , because those are the best memories in my life, To see my kid go through the process of working out getting promoted in karate and performing well in school and academics is the greatest gift I got from my eldest and now years later I get to relive that experience with my baby boy Marty.. not so baby , he so strong and fast and runs like he is in high school. I enjoy the hard hitting , passion and desire he has for football. I really love how he so focused and attentive to the coach and his team mates. I see a young man growing up in front of my eyes and I love it.. Football to me is more than a sport we all or had chances to partake in our lives.. For me.. I had a short lived football career because girls and fast cars or is it fast girls and fast cars,, or what got in the way plus football is hard work.. The practises are long and repetitive something I don't like to do , my downfall i get distracted or bored doing repetitive things, I need challenges and changes on a daily basis .. But anyways back to my son.. I love how he attacks on defense and offense, when he gets the ball he looking to run up field at full speed and gain as many yards possible. A true football player and he looks so smooth when he does it a natural/ maybe or just he loves what he does.. I found out in life is that when you love something it doest seem like work,, it seems like play, so advice to those in work or school projects,,, made it feel like play , than you are able to perform better and longer. having desire and passion goes a long way in whatever you do.. Well today is Marty's first scrimmage I'm more excited than he is.. I know its not a real game , but all the hard work in practise and studying plays , we get to see it in action, My son even volunteered to show up early for practise,, I'm excited to watch him.. tonight in Murrieta Ca.. Las Palmas Park at 6pm.. august 21,2014.. sounds like a invite to all? Well anyways.. I love the discipline and desire in hie heart and eyes, and I love the fact he cares about something other than video games or girls,,,, at least for now.. I have a young boy playing a sport he loves and one I wanted to be part of so much , but got distracted. If anything I'm eager to see how long or how far his goes with this?? High School , College , Pros'? I know its too early to think or dream about those things , but having big dreams is what keeps alot of us going!! Am I right, well tonight is a beginning of a new football season with my son Marty and throughout the season I will post Marty's blog to chronicle the many insights and happenings with him and his team THE ELSINORE VALLEY TIGERS JR MIDGET POP WARNER TEAM .. NUMBER # 21 .. PARAS . scoring tds and helping his team win the division and championship.. I know its way to early for that kind of talk.. but that's whats proud parents do, we brag about our sons or daughters about anything and everything they do.. Its what makes us happy.. To watch a new born baby become a full grown man or woman.. Until my next blog.. Go out and hug your kid , kids and say I love you... Have a great day and enjoy life!!

Thoughtful Thursday- Inspired by life. August 21,2014...
Well another day in today's Real World.. The tragic events in Iraq, the rioting in Ferguson,Missouri , the endless cop shootings and beatings by the cops and beatings on them seem to be on the news on a daily basis. When will it end? Is society getting more scarier by the day, we have hackers that know when your at home or not , or stalkers that use social media to follow you and your loved ones.. Its a scary world , and it seems the media , loves to put anything and everything to scare us, entertain us or just keep us in a perpetual bewilderment. But as pillars in society we have to do the right thing. Like for example.
1) teach your kids well, teach them respect fro the law and of course our own orders and rules.
2) Enforce those laws or rules,, when your kid acts up you need to tell them so,, I know kids will be kids,. but Let me tell you something kids respect strong leader and people that have a vision or goal.. Am I right .? We all love to follow someone that knows what their doing,, not losers , or whiners,, Be a winner so your kids will follow suit,
3) Lead by example.. you behave properly , then your kids when they become adults will have a reference point when they become parents of their own.
4) Be informed about your kids activities , school , friends and talk to your kids,, communication and relationships are made , not demanded.. Talk and build relationships with kids..
5) Lastly, always look for ways to save money , invest money and have your money work for you, the older we get the more saving should be used. Its important to save as much for kids and your retirement , because time flies by fast and the longer you wait , the harder it will be for your future and your kids.
Just some thoughts to live by and think about today.. I know life has many issues and conflicts to deal with, but having a simple plan of attack keeps you focused and grounded. I know at times I let my emotions rule my world, but it what gives me a perspective on things. We all have issue and problems,, and those that are able to handle and keep going are the ones that survive this crazy and complex world we live in. Keep supporting your kids and family and take time everyday whats important in life and always be open to opportunities for money growth or personal growth and above all treat yourself with respect. The way you carry yourself , is more powerful than what you say or do, because in today's world , perception is everything, how people view you influences everything in your life, personal and professional. Memory Monday August 18,2014.. Inspired by all of you..
Memory Monday August 18,2014. Inspired by of all of you..
Well another Monday to get the work week , school week or whatever week you want to call it. But one of the things , that gets me , are memories.. Sometimes it just takes a certain song ,movie , or phrases that jar the memory. For me.. I get those moods when I drive by certain places in San Diego. My long time home town.. Like The Southbay by St Charles Church , or the Luckie Waller Park near Monty High.. They just bring back memories of hanging out with friends, listening to the jams.. like Van halen,, or Zapp , Parliament Funkadelic.. those times are so special to me.. But what made those day so great is that we had fun just doing things.. like roller skating , playing videos at a video arcade , remember that . The Silver Q , in Chula Vista.. taking the bus when we were youths and just hanging out.. Those were the best of times. cruising to the Library in Chula Vista , flirting with girls , passing notes being kids. But today kids , I see don't have the fun. anymore they are too caught up in themselves and not developing true friendships.. Back in the day we used to talk , and joke and fight one another , because we had connections.. Today.. they hide behind screens , social media , bullying one another until,, one has enough and you hear the stories of drive -bys, or school shootings or other random reckless acts. Its no wonder kids today are confused.. Because they have so many outlets to choose from.. But one true outlet for kids and adults is just talking to one another and developing relationships,, Its a lost art in today's fast paced world.. People today just don't reach out and say hi to one another or ask how people are? We are social beings , we need connections, contact , relationships to keep the world going. Whether its one or more persons.. everyone needs a friend , a lover , a group a sense of belonging.. If or when that happens life becomes enjoyable and peaceful.. Its something my generation had or has, is that no matter whatever was happening around us, we had one another to care and love one another. I'm not we didn't have problems or issues growing up, of course we did,, but we talked , we joked,, we argued e fought our way through it all,, and for that I'm so thankful , that I had such wonderful friends to share the good and bad times. We beleived in one another and protected one another, it was one thing we joked or teased one another , but when others try to insult us..It was on.. the barkada boys and girls didn't play. sure we had a rep ,, but the Aztecs were loud and proud and we cared and still do for one another. I know I haven' seen many of my classmates,, But One day I will and I'm looking forward to telling or retelling stories of days gone by.. But before I go I just want to say that as much I miss those days.. I still love my life now and what will happen in the future. I'm looking forward to my sons football games in San Diego, I'm looking forward to my eldest getting what his wants out of life and I'm looking to growing old with my beautiful wife and sharing all the great times ahead.. graduations, marriages, kids,, etc.. are whats in store and I'm ready for all of it and more.. My moral is Enjoy every moment of your life.. enjoy every chance you have with your kids,, they grow up fast and take advantage of every fun moment possible,, Because we all know things go by so fast. I mean, 911 was years ago,, and LT years in San Diego came and went and those fond memories of Robin Williams all the laughter and tears we shared with us is so special.. I'm sure we all had fond movies, Like good morning Vietnam,, Mrs Doubtfire, the Happy days shows with the Fonz,, Mork and Mindy and so on.. He was and is a very special part in American life. I had the pleasure of meeting him many years ago,, while working in Hotel Del as a security officer and one thing that impressed me was his humility , his soft spoken caring attitude. It was like I was talking to a long time friend, and the most endearing quality was the love he had for his wife and family ,, you could just feel the vibe between him and his family , very touching.. Now many years later , It shocks me what happened to him, but it also goes to show , depression is a serious illness that many people take for granted.. I'm hoping , society , will take another perspective on this issue and perhaps help those that are suffering and instead of pointing fingers and blame,, Lets work together as a society to care for one another.. Have a great day and reach out to someone today,, even just saying hello!!

Wisdom Wednesday . Aug 13, 2014
WISDOM WEDNESDAY - AUG 13, 2014..
My blog today is about being yourself! What does that mean? Simply be who who are too many people these days try to be what your parents wanted you to become , people today want to be like their friends or siblings or someone else. The tragedy in life is not how long you live or what ,Its not knowing your true calling , not knowing what you do best. Like I said many times over in many of my blogs.. Just do your best ad what you believe in and pray and hope for the best. I know anything worth having in life takes time. Whether its the woman or man you want , the house , the car the career. isn't it funny some of us spend less time getting into a career , than buying a car or house where we spend tons of time researching and finding the right one? Why don't we do that with jobs or careers In today's world finding suitable employment is hard and finding one you love is even more difficult.. But here's my take , whatever you do,, do your best,, until something else comes up.. I know in my life ,, opportunities have come my way by simply doing my best and having others recognize your talents , for alot of veterans and retiree's it has been a difficult road and for those who about to retire, get set for different rules and standards or lack of. Be prepared to hustle and be prepared to be treated like everyone else.. good and bad.. Its just life , we have lovers and we have haters and it seems the one that hates us , makes us stronger or weaker it depends on you. Only you can dictate what you need to do in life ,, nothing happens just by chance , I believe we all have our destiny's in life we just have to approach them and conquer them with positive thoughts and aggression. My quick lesson is this.. Do your best in whatever you do , and let others brag about you , its will make you sound and look better coming form others and another thing , be humble about what you do.. People will recognize cockiness and insincerity , these days being down to earth will make you more like able and marketable. Everyone you meet could be a lifelong friend or business partner or customer , so why don't people treat one another properly.. I see too many hot heads , road raging drivers and impatient people,, which causes more delays when they crash or cause other accidents. We need to work as a team = Together everyone achieves more!! and I so believe in that.. As much as Muhammad Ali , Michael Jordan , Michael Jackson , Manny Pacquiao , they all had teams to help them become the great icons of their era.. No one can do it alone... and why don't we all take that into consideration when we drive today , when we work today , when we attend meetings or school functions.. teamwork will make everything work.. Thank you and I wish everyone a safe and healthy day until my next blog, Take care and be happy!!

Well I would like to thank the many Source fans from around the world that helped me get this rather important milestone in my blogging career. If you all don't recall but The Source officially began Dec 14, 2010 , with the urging of Junel , Billy, Christina , Jazzy and many others that had the taste of the source via govt email. It started out as a blog about amazing life happenings to a sports commentary , to what is now a world wide following of sports , advice, Black beauty events and of course Life Commentaries. I never imagined or dreamed that after 4 years , I would have such a following. Of course it has been a cycle of ups and downs and defining what I like to write about but I must say I appreciate all of you for reading , commenting and suggesting ideas. I'm very humbled by your readership and I only do it for self expression and of course education and sharing. For me blog writing is more than just words and ideas ,it's a chance for the everyone to kickback read about old life events or current life events and of course sports blogs are my main stay , I enjoy the tips and advice columns I provide for everyone.

Based on the stats 2011 was a great year and USA have the most fans , but Russia and Germany are surprising , I thought Japan or even Philippines would give me more hits , since i lived and I know more people in those countries..Go figure , but anyhow I'm thankful and I feel blessed that so many people enjoy reading my blogs water genre they enjoy , but most of all I enjoy blogging and sharing , its a part of my life and its been a fun ride.. I know the next four years I expect a bigger audience and more page views that will put me well over 100,000 , I cant wait until that happens , but most of all I enjoy blogging and even I don't hit those numbers its ok , because This has been an incredible run since its humble beginnings at ASD CORONADO CA. WITH that special group.. I thank you all and I wish everyone health , happiness and prosperity as we continue the journey with THE SOURCE..

My advice to people. chill out , and think about what you say or do.. I mean .. We are all humans and we are emotional beings , but we all say and do things at times with no rational thought or consequence. For example.. The Kevin Wood story, the young kid gets bumped off the track by world famous race car driver Tony Stewart,, first of what the heck is tony racing in a low budget race? Ok.he likes to race but it just makes you wonder? Well anyways. The thought of getting of a car and racing running or waving another race driver down with cars zipping by.. it not only dangerous but idiotic and in this case deadly. I'm not saying he hasn't been done before , because we have seen numerous times.. But Never seen anyone get run over . I mean it was horrific , tragic and criminal.. Yes. Criminal , the idea that someone couldn't see a dude on a track after crashing their car is not a excuse or a reason. I mean , its one thing to ran or cause a accident ,its another to use your car to scare or in this case kill someone. Its not only tragic but its not right in all cases.The idea that , in that area of the track it was dark and he was wearing dark clothing .. and such and such is bogus.. As a professional driver these guys are better senses , better training and experience at what they do , that's why they are professionals. Its obvious you had two hot heads collide and eventually confront one another on a sad and preventable way. Nascar needs to take a look at the rules and actions of some drivers.if they show signs of disruptive and dangerous actions, they need to be fined, suspended or even banned for life or jailed for their actions. I know I have no right to make judgements on this , I wasn't there , I don't know their personal history or hatred or what? But one thing is for sure , it should not of happened ,, It was accident per se, but hitting some one like that was gruesome and unforgivable. I mean , it seemed like he didn't even slow down or stop or pull over immediately to see if the guy was alright? It just makes you wonder, if you are really sincere in what your thinking or not , it seems he didn't show any concern for a human being. I know if I God forbid hit someone , I would pray and hope I would do the right thing and stop and render aid... Just based on his driving actions, he continued on like nothing happened. All I know they need to do a deep and concentrated investigation , review of tapes, conditions of the track, personal histories and such to get the full real deal. Because this was a horrible event that will change or should change how racing and racers conduct themselves, perhaps change is needed , but lets just hope cooler heads prevail for both sides of the family, but I see no winners in this one.. Everyone loses when a life is taken and because of his age, it hurts even more.
One more point Pray for peace, in the Middle east, As a veteran of wars and conflicts and such, its not a easy thing to see or do, I mean people are hurting in conflicts and America ,, God Bless us,, we always want to help.. But sometimes,, we can only do so much. Especially in that region.. they have been fighting forever , with us there or not..Is it really feasible that many American die for a region that has so much hatred for one another and against Americans. Its not a easy answer , to regain peace in the world. But I say , we learn to tolerate one another and love one another more,.I can see happiness in the world. I feel the lack of understanding or being judgemental is the cause for so many conflicts.. We all need to chill and relax and think about whats important in life.. One another and peace for all mankind. :Life is hard enough , already..not to have hatred , and despair ruling the air.. I say we pray for peace and learn to understand and accept one another. Life is too short for such hate .. We need to teach love and respect and perhaps one day ,, all this senseless killing will finally cease , but I know that's a idealistic approach to life , and I'm a realist also.. You need to find peace in oneself before you can spread peace to others. Life is journey and together we should help one another instead of hating on each other.
My moral or lesson for today, is simple. Think about you actions or words before saying or doing what you do, because words have a powerful affect on people..Some can handle it while others are destroyed or crushed by it. You must know oneself before you can teach others. Lead by example and be happy with who you are and what you want because in the long run. You are the master of your destiny , good or bad. You can control how you feel and how you want to live your life. Its not easy , but true love is unconditional and in today's world,, a hard treasure to find or keep.. Until my next blog. Take care !

Cowboys vs Chargers Aug 10, 2014 , The Bottomline..
The game wasn't very good , We saw one team play pretty well and the other one not too sure ? I mean , The Cowboys seem to play with no energy and spirit , I mean I know their franchise quarterback is hurt and needs time to recover , but if they don't show more passion. Their quarterback may not be so eager to put himself in harms way. But anyways to the chargers, the first team defense was strong and aggressive something we haven't seen since the Merriman , Philips of 2003-2008, recall those years some of the best charger football. especially the 14-2 LT record breaking year. But enough of that. As for now the defense if they stay healthy.. that's the key to any team in the NFL.. keep players staying healthy. I like the reyes, liguet and freeney front three and the awesome hard hitting and aggressive line backing crew of Ingraham, Teo , Atochou , and Butler ... and the all star corners in rookie sensation Verret and pro bowler Brandon Flowers has the ingredients of a great defense and lets not forget another pro bowler eric weddle and vastly improving addae, I see a very strong defense and with the stable of corners for our pass defense coverage, I see great things , better sack total , turnover ratio and more 4 and outs. When you do those things you not only stop the other team , but you give scoring chances for the offense and with this loaded offense I see great things,, Like 5,000 yd season for Rivers , 2 or more receivers getting 1000 yards, Allen and Inman if they keep him. Please do, because you can never have enough quality game breakers.. I love the idea Floyd is back,, but we all know , based on history, he has never played a full season and coming back from a near career ending injury ,, We are hoping he can last but its great to have insurance plans in place.. That's why the bolts went over Donald Brown,. As much as we love Mathews,, he fadedt\ at the end and was hurt in the playoff run. In today's NFL you need quality backups , that can be standouts and game breakers. Which I see in this squad. Overall, I like the vibe and energy of this team.. The offense is feeding off the defensive prowess and vice versa. When a defense knows the offense can score and control the game, they are more likely to make big plays and vice versa. This team is loaded , despite Vegas placing the bolts 30-1 shot to win it all. But you know what? Who cares what others think including us fans.. Whats important is what those players feel and cafe about in the locker room and what they believe in what they are doing. Based on what I have seen at practises , fan fest and the first preseason game, this team is locked and loaded and ready to make a run.. Just recall last year with a bottom line defense , this team split with the Superbowl contending broncos and actually made the playoffs and get a improbable win against the Bengal's in cincy,,, go figure. That's why there is optimism this year for the fans, the players and THE NFL.. its time for chargers to get back in the playoff runs and make something happen.. THE sea hawks finally broke through and the chargers will find out on opening day if they are truly a contender. If anything, with the defense much improved and that offense with more weapons.. I can see a 10-6 ,11-5 season, wild card spot and make a run for the big game.. and if or when we play the broncos I like the chargers chances .. But for now , lets enjoy the new energy and passion and lets see what standouts make the team.. My early season picks are Inman , Oliver and Reese are going to make the team on offense and get set for a exciting season with a better balanced team and a coach we can rely on. The bottom line is this,, this team has all the pieces in place and the a quarterback that is playing his best football and a defense that has finally found the right players and barring any major injuries , I can see the Bolts making alot of noise.. I mean NFL does mean No figure league. Did anyone really think the seahawks would win it all, or when the Rams many years ago ,, did it , or the Buccaneers ,, ? I mean. Every team has a chance and why not the Chargers. Well if anything its great to see and experience the thrill of a young ad talented team. that doesn't realize how good or great they are. Its up to Coach McCoy to get these guys pumped and ready and believing in what they are doing and based on what I have seen. I see a exciting run for championship and why not us? Why not the San Diego Chargers,, I mean,, 18,000 people at a practise was a impressive showing and the energy exuded that day was magnetic and contagious.. I don't know about you but theres a fever going on in San Diego and its Charger fever.. and Lets see what happens when the games begin , but for now,, Why not us? Until the next sports blog.. Financial Services who needs it? Inspired by family and Friends.. Aug 5, 2014.
First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my blog or blogs. Tonight's or today's lesson or comment is about Financial Services. First of all many people are confused or afraid to ask about finances.. They think you go to office and some stranger tells you how poorly you've done saving or not saving your money and how much trouble your in.. and you pay a fee to have them put you on a budget savings plan. Well in the Industry and the Company I'm proudly a part of that's the furthest from the truth.
The truth is I'm part of one of the fastest growing industry's in North America. World Financial Group is not only advice or suggestions for a better way of life , but its education and changing of the mind set. We all know how hard it is to change people's minds or thinking. But I'm excited to try to reach as many friends , family , classmates , coworkers, students, anyone that is interested in learning about what I have done for my family and my future savings and investment. Its not easy to live in today's world and we all need something extra to get us through life and our Golden years. For alot of us.. Those years are fast approaching and for others its 30 - 40 years and tears away if you don't start saving or planning for the future. I know I'm too young to think about retirement planning,, but its never too early or late to start building wealth for yourself an loved ones.For me its given i want the best for my kids,, I want them to succeed and do whatever they desire. I know we can only guide them ad teach them when they re young , but ultimately they make they own decisions and make their own plans for the future. Yes they will make mistakes and at times seem like they are going in the wrong direction. But as parents , and as friends we all have to try to steer them to the right path. Even as adults we often say and do things that seem childish and silly , but guess what its what makes us human.. We all make our own moves for better or for worse , but I'm excited to share the tips , the techniques and strategies that will help you get protection, have better rate of return for your money and safety as well as tax advantages that many people are not aware. I'm not saying I'm better than you , its just We all have our skills and talents and its great to share whatever your talent is with people you care about. I know when I help people ,families,, its in the double digits as I write , I get a real thrill when I see big smiles and great gratitude regarding their future plans and aspirations. There is no better feeling knowing I protected a family from the unexpected. Like death , when that happens .. everyone is involved, and knowing that money can be spread out to cover funeral expenses, mortgage payment , or child's education , that's a big deal.. Because as much as we like to think life is great , when tragedy hits... and you don't have the protection plans in place..Life can be a living hell. That's why I try my best to show people , that Life or health insurance is a great investment because whats the most important asset in your life.. Yourself and your family and so why not have coverage in case of the unexpected event. I know many of you are saying paying money to protect oneself,,that's silly, but we buy insurance for cars, our phones, our electronics our homes,, but we fail to protect ourselves and our families when tragedy hits.. I mean. think about it.. when you die,, do you have protection for lost income ,does your spouse have money for funeral expenses , or worst case how is she can pay for the mortgage or the kids education? Your retirement savings? how may have done that? And if you did, great job, but then what happens to your nest egg for the future. its gone.. and for what? If you have a chance to have protection like life insurance to pay for mortgage and or kids education.. Why wouldn't you do that. Making money is the easiest thing to do these days.. But saving and getting the best rate of return for your money is the most neglected . We work hard,, for our money, don't you think its important to make sure your hard earned money works hard for you? Just a thought, I mean I cant change peoples minds or ideas , but at least I can provide the information and resources for everyone and anyone to make their own decisions about savings , investments and retirement planning as well as children's educational plans. I also can assist people with Medicare Supplement that will reduce out of pocket costs that medicare Part a and b don't cover. Its a lot of information but I'm here to help as many people possible and I'm eager to do presentations at schools , meetings or wherever the need may be. I enjoy what I do and I'm looking forward to speaking to as many people possible Hopefully We can meet up and I can share the wisdom's and techniques that so many people have taken advantage of. CHARGER FAN FEST AUG 2, 2014.. A NEW VIBE..
CHARGER FAN FEST AUG 2, 2014 . A NEW VIBE..
Well another Fan fest attended. It was a crazy scene on the freeways . long lines getting into the Q, but since I have been to a few I have my secret way in so to speak, Not really I don't use the main gates , but instead the side gate near the McDonald's restaurant.. But anyways we get there we see the hundreds of people doing their tailgating deal.. I'm not a big tailgater , eating in a parking lot , just doesn't do it for me .. But I give props to those that like that.. We get there and we are enjoying the vibe the energy in the crowd, the crowd chanting chargers, and the energy when the team took the field was really cool. The offense didn't look too sharp , but Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal has some skills,, the big surprise was the defense, multiple picks and great penetration.. I really liked how the defense looked and if they stay healthy and the bolts get off to a great start . I see a wonderful season, with a long playoff run.. I know its too early for that but think about it the Bolts had one the worst defenses in the NFL.. ranked 29th out of 32 teams.. so yeah.. bad defense. Thank goodness for a ball controlling offense , or the numbers could of been worse. But despite those stats the Bolts were in every game and lost many of them by a touchdown or less.. The Bolts split with the Superbowl contending Denver broncos and actually won a playoff game on the road against a very good defensive team the Cincy BENGALS.. before losing to the eventual Superbowl contender Denver Broncos , despite a poorly planned offensive plan by wheaselhunt.. opps,, sorry about that.. or am I ,, I mean interviewing for a job during the playoffs was kind of shady and then when the bolts didn't score in the first half.. makes you Wonder? Am I right? ok.. enough of that... Charger fest was fun the fans were happy and helpful.. Why? My son Marty got three autographs from Darrel Stuckey , King Dunlap and rookie sensation Tevin Reese, with the help of fans handing his helmet to the players. I though that was really cool by the fans.. and Why Coach McCoy and the new era of bolt mania ,, makes this team a real contender for the crown..I know.. Rivers can be bad ,, when he has no time and Mathew's is a injury prone runner and gates, when healthy is one the best players on the team.. So the key is health.. like all teams..if healthy this team can do things we have a triple threat at running backs. Mathew's woodhead and brown.. and the Wide outs are impressive. Floyd , Allen , Vincent Brown, Eddie Royal,, Ajirotuto , rookie reese , and gates and green as powerhouse tight ends. This team is loaded on offense and the defense has made all the right moves.. We have Freeney , Liguet , Reyes ,, with four awesome hard hitting linebackers of Igraham, Butler , Teo and rookie Nigerian nightmare in atochou, and we finally have cover corners in 1st round pick verret and pro bowl corner in Brandon Flowers , with another pro bowler at safety Weddle and addae assisting the back side of secondary.. I like what I see and hear and this team will do well. I know haters will hate but I see this team making moves this year.. Its time some 50 years ago this team won the AFL championship,.. the SUPERBOWL FOR THAT LEAGUE.. its time. for this team to finally break through,.. The offense is potent and the defense is under rated group that will keep this team in games and win a few with their attacking style and turnover capabilities. The Chargers are finally built to win,, and after 3 years of losing seasons with Nervous Norv,, and AJ smith leadership.. Its great to see the fans and the media realize that this team is no longer a sleeper team , but a team that has been built quietly through the draft and free agent signings.. The pieces are all in.. now they must stay healthy to make that run.. Unlike the 2007 , 2008 years when injuries hurt the chargers chances.. this years team.. has the depth , and the coaches to get them ready for that championship run.. It has the feel and the vibe after Fan fest.. I mean nearly 20,000 fans showed up for a scrimmage in so cal.. that's crazy.. But this year in the NFL - NO FIGURE LEAGUE,,, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, SO do be suprised if the Philadelphia Eagles play the San Diego Chargers in the Super Bowl , in the highest scoring Superbowl ever.. Because both offenses will be locked and loaded and ready to explode.. It was a fun experience at fan fest 2014 and I know the fans saw the talents an skills of the new players the bolts acquired and come Thursday's night at the Q , opening up Thursday's night football preseason style.. I see the bolts make a statement against the Dallas cowboys, on the NFL NETWORK.. and the electricity will be lit for the season.. Thank goodness for football.. Its a fever and we all just caught it.. Final thoughts,,, This years fan fest was fun and exciting and I'm looking forward to many more practices and preseason games,, before the Real season starts , but for now,, I love my football.. and Lets all get set for another hopeful and fun season for all fans..

Well another Fan fest attended. It was a crazy scene on the freeways . long lines getting into the Q, but since I have been to a few I have my secret way in so to speak, Not really I don't use the main gates , but instead the side gate near the McDonald's restaurant.. But anyways we get there we see the hundreds of people doing their tailgating deal.. I'm not a big tailgater , eating in a parking lot , just doesn't do it for me .. But I give props to those that like that.. We get there and we are enjoying the vibe the energy in the crowd, the crowd chanting chargers, and the energy when the team took the field was really cool. The offense didn't look too sharp , but Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal has some skills,, the big surprise was the defense, multiple picks and great penetration.. I really liked how the defense looked and if they stay healthy and the bolts get off to a great start . I see a wonderful season, with a long playoff run.. I know its too early for that but think about it the Bolts had one the worst defenses in the NFL.. ranked 29th out of 32 teams.. so yeah.. bad defense. Thank goodness for a ball controlling offense , or the numbers could of been worse. But despite those stats the Bolts were in every game and lost many of them by a touchdown or less.. The Bolts split with the Superbowl contending Denver broncos and actually won a playoff game on the road against a very good defensive team the Cincy BENGALS.. before losing to the eventual Superbowl contender Denver Broncos , despite a poorly planned offensive plan by wheaselhunt.. opps,, sorry about that.. or am I ,, I mean interviewing for a job during the playoffs was kind of shady and then when the bolts didn't score in the first half.. makes you Wonder?
