Chargers 2011 - BOLT UP!
 The Chargers are conducting open public practises at Charger park , near "Q". if you have never attended Charger practises this a cool event you see the players closer than ever before and the fans are usually fired up. The chargers also hold a night practise at "Q" on Wed. Aug 3, 2011, at 7:30 , that's pretty cool , its like watching a prime time game for free, the Bolts with Rivers and his wide outs out on a good show..But the event I like taking my family is Saturday's Aug 6, 10:am- 2:00 pm.. Chargers Fan Fest , this is where you see a good practise and a chance to get autographs from some of the players , I've attended 3 or 4 now.. and I have or my sons Helmet has .. Shawn Philips , Jamal Williams, Mike Scifres to name a few and cool photos of LT , Sproles , Rivers,, But the event is cool because you see the Die hards ,, with their Pennants flying on their trucks and cars into the Parking lot, and then you see tail gating, music playing , footballs being tossed around.. You can feel the energy of the event. Come out and check it out, it really gets you first hand looks ate the new Chargers that are fighting for spots and feel the thrill of being at a game , even though its a glorified practise session. I'm happy the Chargers have lowered their cheap seats to $ 48 dollars a pop.. Perhaps I will attend a couple more games this year , I usually attend atleast one " The Raiders game" maybe I will check out opening day , never have done that.. Vikings are coming Adrain Peterson.. yea he has the NFL's best rushing day against the Chargers a whopping 278 yds.. yikes.. I don't want to see that , but a few good runs by him , and a Charger Victory is what I'm looking at.. The Bolts need a quick start , no excuse three out of the first four games are winnable and at home. so.. Lets do it guys and support this team.. SO CAL have the most idiots on the road ? July 2011...inspired by fb friends and their stories..
 Ok, Its bad enough we you got fools , yes fools who spend more money on stereos systems than whats the cars worth? You've seen it or heard it. these young or old punks that shell out a loud ass system , on cars that are pieces of crap.. and we hear it all the time. In fact the stereos are so loud , the freaking car is rattling , or fallling apart,. but We all hear it.. and the majority of these idiots were born and raised in SO CAL.. really guys.. idiots.. 
 Next , the fools or idiots that go in the fast lane and drive like grandpa.. guys.. pull over to the granny lane and slow that traffic up.. God , I hate it when I'm on the Nascar 15 - the fastest freeway drivers in SOCAL, especially the Vegas drive I'm driving 90 - 100 MPH  easy.. buts that another story.. Why ? do you guys do that ,, simple your a idiot.. But the biggest idiots are the ones that load up their truck or car with stuff and its unsecured and they go blazing down the freeway in the fast lane. with all their shit flying off their trucks onto the freeway causing accidents , ties ups, traffic,, in fact I saw that today , a damn truck spilled their stuff on the freeway, and get this they keep going while another truck hits it and messes up their nice or once nice Toyota truck.. and get this , We still have idiots zooming by like fools while we are trying to navigate through the debris.. Too many idiots on the road.. read the highway signs,. slow down for highway workers,, Why ? because in a two or three week span three workers were hit and killed by senseless and dum ass drivers that figure speeding around humans is cool.. Dum people , or simply heartless people,. Theres just too many of those on the road and in our legal systems.. If I were a cop, you damn right Im gonna ticket any vehicle that is carrying stuff and its unsecured ,, Your gonna get a ticket and a terse verbal lecture on the dangers of such acts.. 
 Tailgaters , especially early morning , now if I'm not in the fast lane , and going the speed limit , dont tailgate me , especially you have 4 lanes and no one around at 430 am.. but I see it almost on a daily basis.. Hey dip shit , don't be so rude , pull to the fast land or the 3 other lanes.. I mean come on man.. But we have aggressive , inconsiderate so cal drivers,.. Hey I know when theirs traffic , I cut lanes without signalling or take cuts at off ramps , or muscle my way through lanes and off ramps,, Well having a 4x4 truck with lights that go right through many drivers .. helps me.. But at times I get honked at, .. high beamed and such,. but hey I wasn't born in SO cal.. but I was raised here and developed that aggressive , go to driving style,..Hey so why am I complaining.. ? lol
 Finally , I see to many chicks and the pretty boys.. , doing their make up , brushing their hair, adjusting their skirts or bras,, yea, being in a lifted truck I see alot of things, that probably other drivers don't.. But girls,, pay attention , they are lot of truckers that can see you,,!! Guys,, stop fiddling with radios , cd;s or ipods , cell phones , while driving ,, and if you do have to eat , pay attention to the road, I had many folks nearly hit me , because they have tinted windows, so i can read their intentions, and they are battling with thier Big Mac or whopper or better yet their Carne Asada burrito.. Like i said idiots.. But we , the few good drivers that pay attention to the road and the fact we are driving a potentially deadly weapon , take the time to be careful..   ok, Really? That's just another foolish quick phrase that doesn't solve anything and if anything , tolerates or let actions or screw up as part of life. Folks thing just don't happen , well in regards to mother nature , earthquakes , rain storms, . floods , that's hard to predict or even stop or contain.
 But for relationships.. its simple.. Communication . and I don't mean just saying hi to one another or texting throughout the day or calling one another. Those things are important, but when the two of you get home have dinner , and just sit and talk about the usual.. work , the bull shit , the back stabbing. the rumors,, etc.. In other words venting , it helps build a relationship , it places one another in a same space scenario..It creates a bond ,,
 Now , cheating happens not for the physical. even how pleasurable that may be. but its the emotional bond , the friendship, ,more often than not cheating happens because one or both feel lonely , feel alienated ,feel unworthy by one another , so they seek pleasure or the ego boost from anyone that's willing. Like i said , it nice to have that great looking body or face, but the majority of infidelity is caused by partners feeling unwanted un loved , not appreciated. Guess what? it doesn't just happen , when you neglect anything , your car , the garden , your house or even your health , it all catches up to you AND YOU ULTIMATELY PAY FOR IT.. with high repair bills for your car , weed in your garden,., high blood pressure or obesity , and in cheating cases, lost love , .. So the old phrase " It is what is is " or Don't cry over spilled milk.. is non sense,. you are in control of your destiny or in this case your relationships.. Great Marriages happen by accident , it takes work every freaking day,, A little comfort , kind , and ,motivating words by your loved ones can be the difference between a great marriage or a bitter divorce. Like I said,, its the little things that count more than the big things,, Like smiles , hugs and kisses, massages , and simply talking.. The occasional flowers and candy and night out also keeps the love going. But many people neglect those things and just think about making money to pay for houses , cars , clothes , electronics.,. when in reality , the best thing you can do , is simply communicate and be there.. Cheating can be avoided if you feel a strong connection to someone and you think twice about whats important ,, a few minutes of mad passion with a gorgeous babe , or a long lasting real relationship with someone you love and want to share your life with. I know I had relationships with beautiful woman , but no connection , thank God,, I have an Angel that is not only beautiful on the outside , but very beautiful on the inside , and I love her dearly. Don't get me wrong , I like looking at beautiful women , any man that says he doesn't - is either blind , gay , or lying ,. or probably all 3 .. lol.. But anyways,.. if you want to avoid temptation stay away from opportunities like bars , clubs , , drinking and being by yourself.. Because if opportunity is there most men, especially if they have been drinking ,, all common sense , decency and what's thew right thing to do , goes out the door,, especially when the other head is thinking. you know what i mean.. ? Marriage , like life is what you make of it.. I suggest you all take the time to love that special someone , and do the little things like talk.. to one another , develop that bond, because once that bond or trust is broken, most of us,, have short memories and attention spans and our egos and pride take over instead of logic.. For me,, just me, If my special someone cheated , I will forgive it Gods will, but I could never forget and with that , the relationship is over.. I know many marriages have survived infidelity , but I'm a hopeless romantic and just the thought some one else touch my goods , makes me want to puke,, and kick someones ass.. NFL OWNERS END LOCKOUT JULY 21,2011 APPROVED CBA ..

NFL OWNERS APPROVED( RAIDERS ABSTAINING) CBA .. JULY 21, 2011.. 
 ok, The owners , The bullies , now have approved the new CBA, well the main points , but will not negotiate the other points until Union The players re certify and approve current CBA agreement. In other words , take it , by next week, or the deal is off. In other words, we are pressuring you and you need to submit. We own the team , we are the boss, how dare you challenge us? We will end lockout , players are allowed to use facilities , this weekend ? Huh? The way I see it , they are trying to break the union. think about it they are alot of young players that need the money and are willing to accept whatever, its the elder statesmen that can withstand a hold out or strike.. But reality , its a good move by the owners ,, the players , we will see how united they are. The owners are banking on the players will cave in and take the deal and negotiate the rest at a later time. The Players , need to realize, they need to approve the deal , show good faith and work on the finer details as a union. Like the owners want. But reality is egos' pride , and lawyers talk comes into play and we have a stalemate. Both sides are hard headed stubborn boys who both feel , its them that holds the league together. true,, but who really want to see owners play football. ? The players are going to hold fast , they want to see everything outlined aND AGREED UPON.. AND TO BE HONEST ' I DONT BLAME THEM.. who agrees to a deal that's not complete,, right , its like buying a car with 75 % agree terms , but we will agree to the other 25 % at a later time.. huh? 
 Bottom line .. Because both sides have placed lawyers in the mix , expect legal ranglings and mumbo jumbo to interfere with the proceedings so to speak.. The players have already cried foul !! The new cba has terms that the players never talked about , and the deadline to recertify is rather quick. The players say and in legal terms are correct a owners or company cant force employers to certify or re certify as a union.. That's illegal and uncalled for.. Now... whats next,.,.They the NFL has already cancelled the Hall of fame game.. and the first pre season game is in jeopardy.. The players want to hurt the owners , but in the long run.. they will hurt negotiations and future monetary considerations
  What to do? Players re certify , agree to current terms , get back into camps and let the players reps hammer out the other details. The owners,, need to calm down, swallow some humble pie and work in good faith to get all points worked out. Do i see a quick resolution.. yes and no.. but right now its in the players court.. The owners have already locked them out and delayed practises and such,, But the players need to quickly decide what to do.. The owners are trying to get fan support and media support by stating , we are doing our part , agreed to cba , and open up training camps.. and football operations,. it now the players showing good faith by showing up and getting ready for football. But by the looks of some the owners .. they don't look confident this deal is set.. Its basically the owners saying. Take it or leave it.. You the players need us more than we need you... ? Would the owners start a new league so to speak with arena league , Canadian , and free agent players to have the NEW NFL , without stars,, or does the Players give in.. reality sucks .. Players as much as you want to be right,. owners take the risk , have the money invested longer than players who play 5 or 10 years,, Most owners have owned their teams for 20 - 30 - 40 years,, The ball is now with the players.. Please run with it to approval,, if not,, expect a heated and ugly cba negotiations that might change football ,, for ever.. I JUST WANT MY NFL.. SEASON TO START... THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011

  ok, fans held hostage day .. whatever? I mean if your are following this issue, they the owners and players are playing games, We want this , no I want that. I want more money , and I want freedom to leave teams.. Owners don't want to open up their books , Players want more money from the owners. etc.. etc.. Bottom line.. Its all about greed , and sooner maybe later , someone has to give in.. Get this ! One pre season game not played = 200 million dollars lost forever.. Now.. if the owners take the hit.. you think they are eager to pay out or make up for the loss to players.. and for the Players . they must understand , if the bosses lose money , don't count on them, making up for that with their own assets.. Time is running out .. for both sides.. I see a deal coming through , but I also see alot of changes for both sides.. I see Pay per view football coming , even for home teams that sell out games.. I mean think about this,. Owners want to make money , selling out a stadium of 70,000, per game while millions watch at home , doesn't seem a fair deal to them.. I see the owners demanding pay per view ,, and when the Superbowl rolls around I see that happening. I mean we see it in boxing , UFC , and Baseball has pay per view packages.,., the days of free sports TV are getting near the end. ? Is it bad.. it depends.. I mean I love watching sports , but if they as k me to pay for football. I will get angry.. But guess what I will pay.. I mean i have paid 100's of dollars to watch football games , boxing etc.. Why not pay $ 20.00 to watch a game at home.. But that's the future.. I know I'm crazy to think that, But just think about the freaking outrageous salaries we see in sports today.. I mean.. It's inevitable and sad.. at the same time.. So NFL owners and players. get this deal done. Lets see some football , and whatever bull shit undercover deals that are going to surface in the future.. The fans will handle , like higher ticket prices , pay per view football. and the constant promotion and hype of the greatest game ever created. I know some fans or alot are turned off by the whole deal.. But I'm a football addict ,.I Have to have it, no matter what the cost.. Its a game we love to watch and argue with other fans.. Lets get the trash talking back.. raider fans , Bear fans.. Patriots - or whatever team you like,, Lets get ready for some football,. Because I see a wide open , and wild opening weeks , where the teams with the most talent , athletic football players will win and separate themselves early , while the young teams with new qbs and coaches are gonna get schooled.. So Expect the veteran teams to do well and the new bloods to get their tails hand to them early.. Injuries.. I think because of the lay off , short mini camps , so so and so forth, some players , the ones that didn't work out or gained too much weight during the off season will get hurt... But The star makers are going to have a field day.. Expect some sensational days from running backs and quarterbacks.. and we will see what teams took advantage of this lay off and worked out.. JULY 14, 2011 I BLEW OUT MY CARS ENGINE!!

JULY 14, 2011- I BLEW OUT MY CARS ENGINE..
 ok,, what a day it was a hot blustering day in SO CAL and I just got off work, and started my daily cruise on the NASCAR 15 - one of the fastest freeways you can drive on in So cal or Nevada. Especially the Vegas trip I do on a annual or more basis to watch Manny Pacman fights.. but back to the story.. I'm in my sup ed up 4 banger American made muscle car.. Camaro,  I wish... Ok.. freakin sports model Saturn L 200.. this car can move ,, but in this hot afternoon, going up the many hills on my way to TEMECULA VALLEY , I was surprised when in the fats lane at 85 MPH .. I suddenly went to 35 mph.. and I no longer had power when i stepped on the gas.. So , like a freaking idiot ,, while I'm driving , I switched ( dont ever do this!!) to second gear and drove it off the freeway and pulled to the side.. I had a decision to make , either call a two truck and wait in that suffering heat, or stick the car in second and drive that sucker all the way home.. Guess what i did ? Yup,, I drove that car up the hills , and while the car is overheating and I'm putting along at the speeds of 25-35 mph.. cars blazing by , flicking me off , honking horns.. giving me the stairs, but i don't care , my goal is to drive this car home no matter what and no matter what cost..
  Well , I finally make it home , but the damage is done.. the car can no longer run in first gear and the engine light is on.. and to be honest the engine sounds like shit.. What now,,? you say.. Well I decide to call Junkmycar, have then pick it up and still waiting for my payment.. what a story huh? well it was kind of scary , when it happened and to be honest its better it happened to me than to my lovely wife or young inexperienced son.. Lessons learned.. yea,, if you live in the mountainous , high hills of Temecula Valley , you need a 6 cylinder car,, 4 bangers , well good on gas,, but the wear and tear and lack of comfort on long drives will make you tired.. So now , My daily driver is my SUPERCHARGED ELECTRIC BLUE 4X4 NISSAN FRONTIER , WITH FANCY WHEELS AND BOOMING TO THE BEAT STEREO.. I feel more relaxed and safer than that Honda looking Saturn that exploded on me on the freeway.. Only I , could have such a experience,., until my next episode of my life,,. Take Care driving..    Ok, What the hell is going on here.?. I mean America or its people love drama , love reality shows,, that why this one was so popular and so talked about.. Why? because it was a simple open and shut guilty as charged - send that killer to Prison. Justice served- America is the land of true justice.. But wait a minute, I guess Hair samples in a trunk ,. or not reporting a missing child for 31 days , lying about baby sitter and name. and such is not actions of a killer. Ok. But common sense tells me.. its not the actions of a very loving and caring mother. 
 Now America, theres hundred of sailors , marines , soldier airmen , national guardsmen,, etc who have died are dying and getting wounded oversea.. do we veterans or active duty members getting any attention.,. no,,, the only attention we get is the many that are getting booted out because of the numbers game what? I mean America, we have our moral and ethics wrong, don't you think the many men and women who have fought for our freedoms get more respect than just a few days out of the year and fire work shows around the country as enough. I think its sickening morepeople are outraged at this verdict , than the hundreds dying and getting crippled in the Gulf war / Afghanistan.. it really sickens me that a a attractive , young white girl , who likes to party , gets attention and acquitted by a jury of her peers.. Is this worst the OJ.. i think so,, but let me say another thing.. If this was filipina , or Mexican , puerto rican , Cuban , or black girl or any other minority.. this would get no media hype and the girl would be sentenced to death with no problem.. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AMERICA.. but I see a country with poor morals and values and very shallow thoughts. People are more concerned about dum ass post on facebook and or twitter than whats really going on in this country. People write shit , but do they really do anything. I mean atleast I'm doing my best serving this country for nearly 20 years and teaching young kids about life and true values,, but the problem is there too many idiots out there .. Am I upset , you damn right I am, but America we are too blame , to let things like this get by, when you let your kid or others be bullies and don't correct them you are creating a monster, when we let laws or rules be overlooked , we are contributing to this lack of discipline and law abiding citizens.. But guess what my generation as long as we are here are going to correct your lazy ass - play station , no moral fools and to be honest I'm gonna enjoy watching these young punks get corrected. because apparently your generation -- i like the call them " THE LOST GENERATION " - lost in video games , lost in day dreams , fantasy- fbook - internet ipods.. etc.. Guys and girls their a beautiful world out there but you have to protect it and damn it if I let anyone talk shit about America..  ok,, I usually don't give names , but this family I married into.. Is Special.. They are the kindliest , sweetest people I have ever met.. Non fighters. not a jealous or vindictive bone in any of them.. I mean,, they are a dream come true.. They are intelligent , articulate , talented , humble , a joy to be with .. and with out a doubt have their legacies and places in heaven set.. For me.. I'm lucky to be a part of them. As for my legacy and my place on heave.. Lets just say,, Knocking on Heavens door , you know the song,, well when i go knocking , they not only , not going to answer, but they are going to locked it up set the Guardian angels and the Holy warriors to make sure i have no chance of getting in.. Lol.. I know bad joke,, but think about it,. I understand god forgives or the Lord Jesus is a forgiving entity.. But you cant forgive everything can you? I mean , I may not be the devil , and I'm certiantly not a saint,, but Lord knows,, what a character i am.. Now , I am thank ful that I have a great and loving wife and the best relatives on her side with me.. I mean they tolerate my weirdness , my quirkiness , my temper my mood swings,, my outrageous over the top personality, I mean who dances at family parties with a freaking jabbawockeez mask,, me and my boys... now why my boys follow me.. ? Simple I will kick thier ass if they dont , or I will yell at them and embarrass them.. Anyone who knows me,,, I can be embarrassing.. lol.. You don't have to tell me twice to perform. I'm on that ,like flies on shit,, excuse the french.. But the most endearing thing I saw is when of the relatives at this shin dig,, got hit and blood was gushing , guess who over reacted , yea me and my baby son,, loud and proud,, huh.. But I admire the family they all pitched in and helped their family in need. Now if that was me or my boys,, someones getting a rock thrown back at them and angry words , I don't care, That's what my family blood lines do and it was a fighter with a bad temper.. so that's why I joke alot,.. because if I lose my temper,, its not going to be pretty at all.. Lucky for them ,, it wasn't me or my family , and lord help me if that ever happens, and advice to those who read this.. be set for war fare if any of my family , accident or not gets hurt.. just saying,.. you have been warned.. i don't play when it comes to family,, I'm gonna get you back.. maybe not that day.. but someday.. you hear.. ok.. back to the shin dig..
    I give all the props to the genius and the musician ship of Fabby.. he's a wonderful man and a great provider to his family and always encourages me to assist in putting on a show, He plays guitar wonderfully and I'm willing to say he's one of best guitarist on youtube now, thats from one of my friends who has seen him play on youtube.. Thanks Jacob.. and of course the girls doing karaoke like only the austria and abubos GIRLS CAN,, they are awesome. I will SURVIVE - ZOMBIE... KILLING ME SOFTLY.. awesome.. then of course me.. OH donna and the money and whistles and of course the spectators , a group of african - american girls ,, giving me props. It was a great show of singing and dancing and what a treat for the Coronado crowds to see and hear.. and the ending was when I blasted my loud ass stereo playing Van Halen and AC DC tunes at the beach and the beach front.. I was rocking Coronado , as only a true rocker can.. But enough of that .. I want to thank the Austria - abubo family for being to so talented and tolerant of my show off ways,, Because the true performers were Fabby - Jeffrey - Rowena - Vhel - Abyegale - Jenny- Mona- Medi- Presy- they are truly great spirits and have great hearts go with it,, I mean.. Lets face it , every party they tolerate and deal with me.. the Dancing , singing , wanna be guitarist , rocker-- actor.. and comedian.. but they seem to like my antics,, and I will continue to be that party - life of the party guy,, because every family has the one guy who never tries of being the buffoon.. lol..  I want to thank all veterans of all the branches of service.. especially the UNITED STATES NAVY , which I'm proudly serving and I have met alot of great workers and leaders and of course those have made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.. We should be thankful , grateful and pay tribute to them on Independence day. We live in the greatest place on earth and I have enjoyed the many benefits of living in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I know at times we get frustrated with our leaders , policies and the such, But bottom line , America has given all of us freedoms and opportunity that our homelands or parents homelands could not give us.. So , take time out and thank any veterans or active service members and FBook them or email , text , or call and just say thanks man or woman,,,I know they will appreciate even though they may down play it.. NFL LOCKOUT 2011- A GREAT THING!!

NFL LOCKOUT 2011.. A GREAT THING !
 ok,, How can players , practicing on their own, no pre-season games or what a great thing.. Well on a players perspective, it gives them time to heal , recover and get much needed rest and for some surgeries that should of happened but were put off. I see a very high level of play this year.. and I expect those teams with established QB'S . strong running games and consistent defenses doing well this year.. As for those teams with new coaches and new rookie QBS/// GOOD LUCK,, I see talent and athletic ability taking the lead early in the season,, and coaching will come into play late in the season and playoffs,, But those teams with great skills will exceed,, Now what teams am I talking about..?? Colts, Patriots ,Steelers , Jets, Ravens , Rams, Falcons . Bears.. Packers, Charger, Chiefs.. Vikings , Eagles, Redskins... ok.. that's too many.. maybe but I see these teams either winning their divisions and or wild cards.. 
  plus the lockout gives us fans , time to spend with family and friends,, but we all know when this season gets going , our Sundays, Monday , thursdays , saturdays.. are going to be focused on this addictive game.. I know we are upset at both the owners and players.. but like drug addicts , we cant get enough.. We curse them , and we hate them now.. But when the season starts , our fanantic attitude and love for our home teams will disregard any hatred or jealousy ,, regarding thier pay checks and ungodly amounts of money they all make off us. I'm a sucker I go to the games , I buy the jesreys , caps,, t shirts , football,. posters,, etc.. But like i said enjoy these weekends with family and friends,,, because we all know when this season starts ,, all is forgiven and we all become addicts to the game.. So players rest up , get those surgeries,, and play your best.. The fans are hating right now.. but as time goes by and the rush of football gets going.. We , the foolish many.. the fans.. are suckers to what i call the greatest game ever created... rest up ,, and get healthy Rivers , MATHEWS, SPROLES GATES , JACKSON, TOLBERT.. ah.. Charger fan.. huh?  ok,, Manning , Cutler , Peterson , LT,, gives us a great year,.. because I see a exciting year when any team has a chance because of the situation... TRUE LOCALS...FILIPINOS RAISED IN STATES...
 ok,, these guys and gals were raised by parents who were Military or college educated parents.. many times both at the same time.. The locals enjoyed the good life , beautiful homes , inport cars , fancy clothes , always have food on the table.. In others words ,, Entitled.. expected , spoiled brats.. ? I mean what they wanted they got most of the time.. lap tops, radios, cell phones,, videos games.. Their own rooms.. while the FOBS,, had to share rooms , get to the dinner table on time or you didn't eat that night, or you didn't eat that much.. Most locals , didn't have to walk to school,, or atleast not have a long walk ,, unlike the Baguio Girls and boys that had to walk long miles to get to school , often times in the freaking rain.. But not the locals.. they either had parents drive them. older friends ,, or better yet drove themselves. Locals feel superior , Why? They speak perfect english , debatable , considering the slang terms and disrespectful comments and attitudes. If theres one thing that is or was annoying is that self- serving , arrogant , know it attitude alot of Locals have about themselves and their disdain and often hurtful perceptions of philippine born citizens.. I mean , i must admit , when I was a teenager back in the day , I used to mercifully make fun of their accents , their attitudes and of course their life styles, wearing slippers , eating with their hands,, eating balut.. yuk,, right,, Especially the accents, I used to mock them like crazy , causing me to get into fights , arguments.. shame on me.. right ? I mean , We locals are stronger , faster , smarter , better looking , more Americanized than those damn fobs.. I mean , the old saying when in Rome , be like the Romans,, but I know what we hated and probably still do.. is when fobs try to talk the lingo ., try to act hip or cool, and we all know its not real.. So as a bad ass smart ass local.. I would make fun of them.. Man, isn;t that crazy ? you hate the people who are trying to be like you,,, what a shame.. ? I mean , we Filipinos are all the same.. we get up in the morning , we shower , eat , and go to work or school or what? But we locals,.are so judgmental.. we think we are so badd.. well we are.. We grew up with the silver spoon, and we can joke with the white , the blacks , the latinos' with out any doubts about our existence in society.. Its a mind set , we locals have,, and at times we cant help the way we act or talk.. I mean , we feel as white or americanized as white america ,, but get this .. locals.. we are still fobs or islanders , third world to alot of america.. I know , when we start talking , we can relate , but just by looks or stereotypes,, we look the part.. i know alot of the locals don't want to learn tagalog or have any knowledge of the lingo, because in thier minds , that would mean , they are submitting to the fobs.. we locals feel like we have our own lingo our own style.. Though we love Manny Pacquiao's fighting prowess , deep deep inside , we dont like the way he talks , and the way he acts too wimpy.. too silent , doesnt have that fighters attiiude.. But We root and claim that Pinoy power.. But we locals forget to acknowledge the Pinoy roots , instead we brag , we show off and we carry ourselves as self centered , selfish , arrogant people that think because we grew up in the states , side by side with whites , black , and mexicans , we feel like we are every bit american as they are.. So we continue to be boastful , we dont make eye contact with Fobs.. and we hate the accents or even the language spoken in our presence.. So , we alienate our selves by not associating with them , or simply acting Americanized,, like wow,, man... whats thats ? tagalog.. eeh.. that sounds so,... third world.. so.,.. unnatural..I know there are locals who are cool with the Real Pinoys.. but alot of us.. have neglected them and ignored them.. But thats whats makes us Locals.. We dont like fish , or the smell, we dont eat with our hands,,, we dont wear slippers to malls or such.. we dislike FILIPINO TV CORNY SHOWS,,,, we dislike the real ethnic foods.. especially if it smells bad..We also hate when pinoys speak tagalolg and we have to exlpain we dont truly understand the lingo.. and suffer the stares , or snickers .. it pisses us off.. But we go on,,. I mean wwe cant all like one another right? But atleast don't demean the Pinoys , because they are making strides in Boxing , Media , dance , Music... but Locals we can boast the the best damn dance crew ever is.. Locals.. from San Diego , Van Nuys, Frisco ,,, yup.. THE JABBAWOCKEEZ .. are bar far better than any group around and they are Locals ,, that have adopted the Pinoy style.. Humble , beyond belief.. So my fellow Locals , lets follow their leads and be humble , no matter how good or great you become.. because witnessing greatness , and watching humility is so refreshing in today's day and age ,, of self promotion, self proclamation.. me...me .. look at me society.. Locals.,. Lets ,, be proud who we are and also lets show respect for those island born Pinoys that have paved the way for us to become what we are,,.
