My daughter has disappointed me..Inspired from someone I know..
 Before I get started I just want to say I'm a hard working intelligent and well respected person in my career, I came from a third world country where , yes you might be more free than the US, but free to do what ? Free to do drugs, live lawless, gamble on poker or Sabong.. cock fighting, No rules doesn't mean a good life.. I used to live a wild life I guess, but I also envisioned myself to become someone , to have ambition, to have goals.,dreams aspirations.. My homeland as much as I love it, I could never have the life I have right now.. The money , the security, the prestige and the self confidence I have developed through many years of studying hard, working hard and achieving success. In life , if you want things, you have to work hard and earn it.. If you think winning at gambling or placing bets , or dreaming about the lotto jack pot is your ticket to wealth.. Then your a dreamer and a lost soul.. 
 Now My daughter , I love her dearly, and I know I spoil YOU, one of my relatives A outspoken. in your face guy.. told me that you need to be more strict more vocal. more demanding.. But its not my nature.. I mean .. I don't want her to get stressed out or what I see or hear too many stories about kids. doing drugs.. getting involved with bad groups.. etc.. I would never forgive myself if my daughter was forced to do such things... But I am troubled by her actions, her face book accounts , pictures,, Like I said my family are very proud people.. Not in a Mayabang.. - showy - conceited way. More like a dignified , proper upstanding members of society. My wife is a wonderful loving mother who has sacrificed her life and career to ensure a mother like atmosphere in my home.. But to hear from relatives that my daughter thinks its cool to use face book, to get a quick laugh or attention is not only disrespectful , but troubling.. HOW are you going to make or better yet keep friends if you betray your own mother? I thought i raised a better person than that? I'm not saying I will abandon her or shun her, but I'm greatly disappointed and AShamed that she finds such postings as entertaining and so hurtful. It's hard to build a reputation or image that society will accept , especially If your from a another country , with different values.. MY DAUGHTER is deeply misguided if she thinks people think she is a True American,, I mean shes brown skin, short and hard to read. But for whatever reason she continues to make weird and senseless postings that to be honest, I'm glad i don't see them, because It would just hurt me so much more. I thought by not being a asshole , my kids would prosper and do well. How wrong was I, I realized now, I let too many insults and troubling behaviours go by without proper direction. Now , it may be too late,, the old saying, you cant change a old persons way of thinking.. In life , you have opportunities that come and go,, I'm afraid my daughter is losing many chances to succeed in life.. Shes not getting any younger or prettier, and I'm almost done withe my career, and ready to embark on my next one.. When is my daughter gonna start hers? I just hope if she reads this or someone close to her does,, that she realize I love you girl, but I'm deeply disturbed and disappointed that all the hard work this family had done to build a reputable image is being destroyed by your senseless and useless postings.. BY YOU say you want freedom.. but how much freedom do you want if you alienate your own family and friends.. and you wonder why you cant keep a good boyfriend or have a true close girl friend.. Karma is a bitch than you die.. Aren't you afraid of doing nothing in your life? I thought i raised you better than that? Oh well, like I said, I will not abandon you , or shun you, but the more damage you do our family heritage , the so call freedom you ask for,.. May come true .. We will be free to have no job, be free of no career choices , be free of wisdom and image. be free to dream.. Is this what you want? 
 I just hope , you realize that life is not like a TV show,. or what,, anything worth having or keeping takes hard work.. and determination. I have lived my life and have proudly served my country and taken care of my family.. Its a shame my daughter thinks , making fun of our accents or that we don't know dumb ass stuff on phones,, is really worth our time.. I'm focused in building a nice life for my family and my retirement years.. As for you when are you going to grow up , shut up and do something productive, instead of throwing our family heritage into the ground with your hurtful and often disturbing face book postings.. If you really want to change , its up to you, stop blaming me or your mother or your boyfriends for your issues..  " YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOUR DESTINY!!

BROWNS AT RAVEN- This will be a hard fought divisional game , but I see ravens defense being too much for the overreached but game Browns. Joe Flacco Will do enough to preserve win and the Ravens defense will be suffocating and dominating.

PANTHERS AT FALCONS- If Cam Newton thinks this week Will be easier , guess again, The falcons could very well be the best playing team right now , especially after a impressive beat down of the Chargers , on a short week and cross country trip.. I see this as a another blowout for the powerhouse Falcons.
PATRIOTS AT BILLS- Divisional game , The patriots are playing good football , but not dominating, this is a statement game for both. Who is the real contender and who is the pretender.. I expect Tom Brady to rise up and get his team ready to make that winning run to the playoffs.. 
VIKINGS AT LIONS- The Lions have lost some close and high scoring games, they are do for another big game at home.. I like the lions to score alot and dominate this game at home.. 
CHARGERS AT CHIEFS- THE chargers led this series since 2001= 12-10 , but the Chiefs have owned the chargers at arrowhead the past two years. Both teams have play makers , but both quarterbacks are struggling to have that long passing game. Chiefs have the better run game and better run defense.. This could be a shootout, but if the Chiefs can run, this could be along day for that inexperienced charger defense. I see the Chargers finding enough to pull out a a close and exciting game. The big three for the Bolts Will come through - Rivers - gates- Mathews.. Control the turnover ratio .. the Bolts win!\\\
SEAHAWKS AT RAMS- ok the hawks was given a gift , and on the road against a pretty good offensive team. I see the rams winning this low scoring game.. No miracle hail mail  in this game//
NINERS AT JETS - The Niners were upset and Alex Smith looked terrible.. The Jets lost their shut down corner.. and Alex smith should take advantage// I see a close but low scoring game wit the Jets prevailing at the end. with strong defense and a ball controlling offense.
TITANS AT TEXANS- The Texans are for real and I see them dominating and controlling this game early I see another blowout game ...
RAIDERS AT BRONCOS- The raiders played inspired football can they do it again on the road against Peyton Manning. I say No.. No huddle will destroy that young and inexperienced secondary.. The high altitude is gonna tire out the raiders and the Broncos will run late to demolish the raiders at the end of the game.. 
DOLPHINS AT CARDINALS- The surprise team of the NFL.. THE CARDS are playing well and I expect another great performance this week.. 
BENGALS AT JAGUARS- I like the red rifle and the Bengals defense stifling that jaguars offense. It wont be a pretty game to watch but the Bengals just have too much fire power and play makers to lose this game even on the road.. 
SAINTS AT PACKERS- These two teams have been snake bitten this year tough losses on the road or at home.. The Packers had a game stolen from them.. Both teams are struggling offensively. The Saints defense is horrible and The Packers are upset.. I see the Packers bouncing back with a Good solid win.. The Saints starting 0-4 , could very well be the nail in the coffin , because that defense is horrible.. 
REDSKINS AT BUCS- The skins have a star player IN RG3 . and that defense is helping him out with strong play and more offensive opportunities.. I see a low scoring , and hard hitting game. But RG3 is playing at a high level beyond his experience.. A true star in the making!!

This will be a war, I like the Giants because Eli is playing well and they got their running game going , The Eagles live and die with Vick , and he makes too many bad decisions regarding his health, He is a hit away from being out for the season.. I see the Giants winning a tough hard fought game with Eli making a game winning drive ..
MONDAY NIGHT GAME:
BEARS AT DALLAS- TWO storied franchises , rich in history and loyal followings. The Bears have a very good but aging defense.. The cowboys have marketing and a loud mouth owner who believes Romo is a star.. I see the bears exposing the cowboys as that pretenders and being out muscled and out played by a more physical punishing offense and defense..

NFL IS KING !! 2012..
 The NFL IS KING! They knew exactly what they were doing with the regular refs, the controversy the craziness. Free publicity is free ,no matter its good or bad.. What better way to promote the Worlds Game , than create water cooler talk, sports show discussions... It what the NFL wants.. Exposure , publicity.. fans.. Sure we were outraged, we thought about not watching or what ? But guess what? We are suckers to this sport , the glamour, the excitement , the bad boys , the loud mouths the show offs. Its everything that means America... We are the best and crew the rest! We can because we are Ameri-can!! For foreigners , and such , you must admit the game of football is addictive , its intoxicating, it gets you going, its a hard game to fully understand , but the great spectacular plays is what makes the NFL so fun to watch,, the moves, the hits, the sacks, incredible miracle throws. and such it what makes this sport king!! THE NFL gods.. know what they have and know what they created and the World is at their beckon. I don't care how pissed we get with our teams or the league.. We still tune in for games.. No matter its a good match up or what. If its on and we have the time.. We crazy fans will watch, bitch , complain.. and say never ,, But what happens when the next NFL game is broadcast.. yup.. break out the beers , or wine.. and finger foods,, and we are suckers for this thing called the NFL.. NOT FOR LOSERS , NOT FOR LONG .. NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. ETC... Its great the REAL REFS are back,, it doesn't mean we will have no more idiotic calls. because we will. but at least , it will be less so.. I'm looking forward to games again and see how our teams will react to this news. But bottom line. you have to play the game.. You have to play well to win.. Refs will not win it for you..or except last Monday night , but that has been addressed and such crazy calls will be eliminated right? I mean , whats the use of a replay official. , if they don't see it like the home town crowd or what? Lets forget about the first 3 weeks and focus on the remainder of this great season that will culminate at New Orleans and we crown a New LOMBARDI SUPER BOWL CHAMPION.. My guess it wont be the packers , or Giants , or Patriots,, I see a off the wall team.. Like the Texans , Falcons or such that will fly under the radar and show what a balanced team will do .. I'm hoping we have a close and exciting SUPERBOWL.. and We all hope is doesn't have controversy.. like go into over time. and such.. Enjoy this season. because I see a excitement , controversy ,.. and fun for all to see, so sit back and enjoy because NFL IS KING!!

JOB FAIR 2012- REUNION WITH TWO BUDDIES,

JOB FAIR 2012- REUNION WITH TWO BUDDIES..
  I attended a job fair and it was nice to see two buddies from my last command. They still look like military with their haircuts and all. While me.. still have months to go,, look like a civilian. It was to char and go to the various companies around the floor, some were helpful others just gave us weird looks,. hell, It seems I was concerned about getting the free stuff , alot of pens and goodies like key chains , flashlights and letter openers.. I wasn't really into it,, I mean My resume needs fine tuning and I also need to really focus on my plan of attack. I know getting a good solid job is really going to take work , research , contacts and more work. But once it is said and done its gonna be worth it. Today started out eating breakfast then heading to Midway dodge in beautiful Mission Valley - San Diego for folks from around other places like Germany , Italy , the Philippians.. I spent a hour or so at the fair,, then kicked back at Mission Bay PARK - a great place to relax under the sun... I should of taken pictures , I will next time.. But i guess I was just thinking about things..
    Like ow my friends looked so stressed about things.. Reality check.. searching for  job is gonna take more work than I actually thought. I know I need to organize my thoughts and daily plans.. Because I noticed time flies so fast when your not in the Navy or military. I notice time management or finding the time to do things is the key to success in civilian life. I know I'm still adjusting to what is going to a new transition, civilian life.. I need to be more patient and understanding.. The very things that have haunted me in my military career, My Navy life is not over but it sure feels like. I know it will really hit home when I'm officially done and collecting um employment and applying for GI bill benefits.. I notice my kids are depending on me for alot of college info and career plans.. Its a great feeling to share my experience and skills with my kids , but I also realize I'm really heading into a different path in life. THE MENTOR, the teacher , the adviser , the father who will research and do things for his kids. I'm also encouraging my wife who has grand ambitions.. If anything , i learned today was no matter what, I am the master of my own destiny, how people react to me and so forth depends on how i carry myself.. I know I kind of felt disrespected because I'm a retiree , and I guess I look old and worn out. I mean i haven't had a hair cut in months and my hair is the longest it  has ever been in the military ,, and maybe That's a turn off and perhaps I should get a hair cut soon.. But.. I'm loving the freedom of having long hair and every thing..
  My two buddies are diligently searching for jobs,, because they are no longer getting paid by the navy. As for me.. I'm still getting paid and when I go to school next year I will get additional pay.. Its been a weird and confusing time for me right now.. Because I'm thinking about my kids future , my wife and of course myself.. But reuniting with my buddies pit me back in perspective that life is difficult at times and we all need to realize , if you want anything meaningful.. You need to work hard and stay with it. I know My search or journey for employment will provide many twist and turns that will change my views on life , but that's what life does, it creates images and experience's that mold the way you think and behave. The JOB FAIR i attended was a great eye opener and I realized I have alot of work to do with RESUME WRITING , JOB RESEARCH AND ORGANIZATION. For those embarking on this journey, its a job in itself and I'm getting myself ready to hit the streets and job fairs , seminars etc.. to finally transition into the civilian life style.. Nothing great in life comes easy.

 My friend Mel is a true classic guy.. Many times I forget he's Asian or Filipino , because he's so Americanized> I know he tells me his own race , or ethnic group makes fun of the way he speaks tagalog, but hey.. at least he tries.. haha.
 Now back to his car or ride or what.. Its beautiful.. Black , sleek , wide hips and smooth silky paint job.. and the red eye or stripes coming from the hood scoops , gives it that extra sexy look. Jeez, it sounds like I'm talking about a girl.. hehe. But for reals.. This car kicks , he gave the chance to drive around my home town San Marcos and people,. this car flies , it roars down the road like a beast. The ride is smooth and gets up to 100+ in seconds and it attracts attention,. from onlookers and police.. Cop cars actually follow this car because its just a vision of elegance and a retro look of the days when rock and hip hop music and of course muscle cars were kings.. I know times have changed , people don't like the loud and proud 80's music or cars.. I mean its a gentler and kinder crowd.. But with the resurgence of Hard rock and old school music,, and of course those classic cars like Challenger , Mustangs , Camaro's ,, THAT ERA will always be near and dear to me and my friend. I really enjoyed the cruise with the beauty, it such a smooth handling , but powerful car under a very mean and sexy look. I can see why my friend loves driving this beast. Bad ass stereo and all the other electronic gadgetry is truly a luxury interior with that classic retro muscle car look. I'm happy for my friend he like myself served over 20 years of military service and we both have seen death , injury and hardships that Will forever scar our memories. But the purchase of this Beast of a car sure will heal if not totally erase all the pain and suffering he endured during his Navy Career. My friend Mel , you finally have the Dream Car you always wanted and please feel free to drop by and show her off because my neighbors cant stop talking about Black Beauty and that larger than life dude that drives her.. They both are originals and real bad asses.. haha.. Thanks friend and enjoy and be wary for the cops.. I know you have a fuzz buster , but I'm sure they would love to catch you to make them look like bad asses..
   Black beauty quick note , while driving around town,, I went inside a shop and this truck full of teenagers were gawking over Black beauty.. and when i went into shop, I saw one of them just taking pictures or videos.. it was so funny to watch.. like i said, I get people waving smiling and actually coming up to me at stop lights or stop signs saying cool car.. But the craziest thing that happened that day , when with wifey heading for COSTCO.. theirs a popular road where local racers go to drag,, and the cars of ahead of me.. just did that raced down the road. Me.. I stepped on to have them listen to my loud exhaust system and out of the top of the hill , comes this unmarked police car that racing done the road AT 100+ .. WHY I KNOW THIS.. ?/ figure it out.. well he tailgates me. and then puts on his flashers and siren.. Wifey of course is furious and I'm reassuring her I'm ok.. I was traveling at 50 - 55 the speed limit is 55 mph.. but they cop pulls to the side and races off. My wifey says. I love your car but it attracts to much attention.. I said " Imagine when I get those wide black tires and chrome grill and tint the windows.. ' She said " omg.. " What have i done??and laughed.. and even at the gas station and parking lot , beauty gets many smiles and stares from the public.. Wow,, all this from a quick trip to COSTCO.. oh well.. Black beauty loves attention, and like any beautiful women.. loves to tease.. with her looks.. The many cars that tail gate or get beside me to see the car is countless , and the feeling I have when I drive that car is uplifting , and powerful , just like the Heavy Metal jams from Metallica. Judas Priest ,Iron Maiden, Van Halen , Scorpions , Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Boss daughter , and many more just adds flavor and attention to in my opinion one the TRUE RETRO LOOKING MUSCLE CARS ON THE ROAD TODAY!! MOPAR OR NO CAR!! MOVE OVER PEOPLE ARE RACING. " I think i need a break,, take beauty for another spin??

 Thursday night game:
GIANTS AT PANTHERS- Eli Manning is playing the best football in years, the G mens defense is not. The Panthers are a young and upcoming team . But the Giants just have too much fire power to lose this game. 
Sunday Games;
RAMS AT BEARS- The Bears are unbeatable at home, The Rams have issues on the road. If the Bears offensive line can hold up I see a great game by Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. 
BILLS AT BROWNS- The Bills are a up and coming team and the Browns are not. The Bills should win this game easily behind good quarterback play and a strong defense.
BUCCANEERS AT COWBOYS- Tony Romo is due for a good game at home and the Bucs struggle on the road. The Cowboys looked so good against division rivals Giants in week one , but played poorly last week against the sea hawks.. 
JETS AT DOLPHINS- Mark Sanchez plays well when the defense helps him, this a divisional game and no matter what records this teams have when they meet , its always classic show downs.. I see a high scoring shoot out , but The Jets defense will save the game.
49ERS AT VIKINGS - The niners are the best team in the NFL , and the Vikings are one of the worst teams, It should be a cake walk, but stranger things can happen on the NFL ,.like the saints 0-2 and the patriots losing to cardinals. 
CHIEFS AT SAINTS- Who would of thought both of these teams would be 0-2 , at this point , and after this game someone is going to 0-3 and closer to be a non factor in the playoffs. Drew Brees will get his saints ready to score alot because the saint defense , like the chiefs are terrible at this point , this could be the highest scoring game of the week..
BENGALS AT REDSKINS- RG3 is the real deal , and this too has the match ups of being a high scoring affair. The Redskins will use thier passing attack to take a early lead and hold onto it with a ground and pound running game. The Redskins are for real!!
LIONS AT TITANS- The lions have yet to be the team we saw last year, lucky for them they get the Crash of the Titans - The Titans have given tons of points to the Patriots and Chargers and I see another high scoring effort by the Lions.. The Titans are in trouble.. No defense and surprisingly no offense with Chris Johnson..
JAGUARS AT COLTS- The colts have a quality QB in Andrew Luck and the Jags have POCKET HERCULES, the colts will win this game and Andrew Luck will have a big game..
EAGLES AT CARDINALS - Another battle of the birds. But I see the desert Cardinals prevailing in this high scoring shootout. The cardinals are the surprise team this year, too bad they play in the niners division.. The cards will fight for the wild card spot this year.. 
FALCONS AT CHARGERS- The battle of the undefeated teams.. Michael Turner was arrested for DUI , and he is looking vintage Turner.. The Chargers are hoping their big offensive weapons gates and Mathews can play.. Too bad San Diegans will not see this one,, This could be another high scoring affair.. But word is there is still 10,000 tickets to sell by Friday.. 
TEXANS AT BRONCOS- The Texans are my dark horse favorite to win the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP , Great offense , and defense and most of all hungry to make a name for themselves. As for the Broncos.. Manning looks tired and fat.. and frustrated, he did make a great comeback , but I see his style of offense is too much to handle for this young broncos. If he thinks the Falcon defense is tough , the Texans are even more so.. I see many turnovers and mistakes made by the young broncos and the Texans will show how great they are with a convincing road win against one of the greatest quarterbacks ever.. 
STEELERS AT RAIDERS- At the beginning of the season raider fans had great optimism, after two quick weeks, its apparent its the same lame old Raiders that are undisciplined and clueless., The young head coach looks frustrated and lost and may be gone before the year is out. Once upon a time this used to be a rivalry game.. But stranger things can happen.. But I don't see it this week. The Raiders will go 0-3 and the Steelers will get back on track with a convincing road win.. 
SUNDAY NIGHT GAME 
PATRIOTS AT RAVENS - Both teams are coming off stinging losses and want to get back on track.. The problem for the Patriots is they have to play a pissed off and talented ravens defense . At Home the Ravens are great , and this could be the game of the week, I see a hard hitting close game ,, decided by a late scoring drive and  game winning touch down or field goal to seal the deal.. Possible AFC CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW?? 
MONDAY NIGHT GAME :
PACKERS AT SEAHAWKS - The packers defense is vulnerable and on the road in a loud venue like Seattle could test them dearly. I like the Packers because of MVP player Aaron Rodgers , but this could be a game of the week candidate. I see the experience and talent level of the Packers win out in this game , but I also see Seattle making a close and exciting game..

SO CAL DRIVERS ARE IDIOTS.INSPIRED BY Someone I used to know...
  First of all , I hate any driver that drives distracted , texting , talking on their cell, looking at their stereos , or vanity mirrors etc when they drive. Hello people , you are driving a possible murdering machine if you hit another car or what? It seems this new generation , I call them The LOST GENERATION.. Lost in space, , my space , you tube. twitter m face book,. lost in fantasy. games. etc.. The Me myself and I generation that think they are smarter and better than the older generation.. Yea, better at making excuses, better at whining , and better at causing death and mayhem on the roads.. I see it all the time. people immersed in their conversations instead of the road ahead. Its a dangerous world out there , but we have idiots that think checking text messages , or phone calls is safe,, Well folks it not, and the fact you are endangering others like me when you do such stupid acts is really disturbing and upsetting. But mind you, I drive a Big ass 4x4 , with a big battling ram bumper,, in other words, My truck will do damage to those little rice burner Toyota's;s Nissan's or Honda's that run around speeding through traffic. Its troubling that educated , well to do folks are so focused on media services while driving.. Is it really that important to look at messages or phone calls when you drive.. To me no.. The road is full of aggressive and un safe drivers and for you to think you control the road in front of you is ridiculous and arrogant. But I see it all the time. people driving around listening to loud stereos and fumbling with cell phones or vanity mirrors.. It's a tragic accident waiting to happen. I hear too many stories about people getting hit by cars crashing because of inattentive drivers.. Its' one thing if they kill themselves, but more times than not, they kill innocent bystanders like parents and their kids.. I have no forgiveness or sympathy for those dun ass arrogant fools that think they can cheat death. Karma is a bitch and then you die.. What comes around goes around and I strongly discourage my kids from learning dun habits like texting or fiddling with phones or stereo's while driving. If you happen to kill me or my family , I would expect my family to force the law to charge you with the fullest extent of the penalties deserved. In life , you have one life to live and when some idiot drives around doing avoidable acts,. than that person deserves the ultimate penalties available , So Cal Drivers are the worst drivers because they are distracted and impatient and because of that , out of state drivers agree with me , that So Cal Drivers are rude and arrogant. Its bad enough so cal drivers tail gate , high beam you , change lanes without signaling , cut you off or don't let you merge,. or go faster when you are trying to overtake them.. Just goes to to show ,, that So cal drivers deserve the moniker the worst drivers on the road.. especially if it rains,.,, 
 Lastly , if I could change one thing , that would be drivers pay attention to what you are doing because you are affecting other peoples lives especially if you kill someone and as far as I'm concerned, if you kill someone or yourself.. YOU NOT ONLY DESTROYED YOUR OWN LIFE BUT OTHER FAMILIES AS WELL AS YOURS. BECAUSE you think you can control the roads.. If anything today's youth are misguided and delusional about real life and it's a shame for some of us , it takes a tragedy to make you think.. !!

  This was one of the most dominating victory by the Chargers in years. The Bolts held onto to the ball 44 minutes of the 60 minutes allotted for a football game.. Get this.. Jackie Battle's number is 44.. and he was the final dominating force to a very convincing win for the Chargers. I was impressed with Rivers spreading the ball around to many different receiver's including back up tight end.. Donte Rosario, perhaps help Antono Gates heal faster , we all know if you stay out too long , THE NFL , NOT FOR LONG League , will eat up,. and boom.. your gone.. If anything we have a pretty Tight end trio.. or foursome at that.. Gates, Rosario , Mcmichael, and rookie sensation Green. Add Floyd, Meachem , Royal , and Vincent brown. We have a pretty good arsenal of attackers.. I have to say that the defense was the reason for alot of the scoring and dominance.. A lot of three and outs and the offense would get the ball back, after a while you could see the Titans defense break down, especially when Battle would ground and pound his way into the end zone. I like the formula Turner is creating, run early to set up play action pass, and spread the ball around to keep defense guessing and build a quick lead and control the clock with a ground and pound running game late in the game.. Eliminate turnovers and penalties and this team will not only compete for the AFC WEST DIVISION TITLE, but could possibly be a true contender in the AFC Championship.. You laugh, well the Mighty Patriots and Ravens lost last week and both of them did not look good. The Bolts have the oldest offensive unit in the league , but I see that as experience and wisdom that will aid them in the pressure filled play offs. As for the defense its one of the youngest units in the league , but it has a strong pass rush and perhaps one of the quickest Line backer crews in the league.. The secondary is anchored by Eric Weddle and Quentin Jammer and young studs , like gilchrist and wright as well as  Cason and strong safety Stuckey.. Its still early in the season, but we all know early breaks and taken advantage of opportunities can get you set up for post season success. The Bolts need to keep playing consistent football and a Division title is within reach.. The new attitude and urgency by Norv Turner is evident by his willingness to go for late scores and fourth down conversions. The pressure is on and so far Norv Turner and his renewed and reloaded team is responding. The lingering issue is that young and inexperience offensive line and the youthful and inexperienced secondary. In close games , we will find out if this team has the moxie to deal with late season pressured filled games. But for now , Go out and blow out the teams that lack the fire power and play ball controlling football against teams with explosive offenses, like the falcons coming up this Sunday.. 
   Final words.. The Chargers are playing inspired football and Rivers is making better decisions and seems to be healthier than last season. The Defense is beginning to look like the 2006 squad that helped the chargers become a NFL contender and Franchise best 14-2 record , during LT 's greatest season.. if Ryan Mathews is healthy and.. Jackie Battle is a legitimate ground and Pound guy , the chargers will have a powerful and explosive back field, with Mathews, Battle , Brinkley and experienced Ronnie Brown.. This year which has been dedicated to SAN DIEGO'S OWN JUNIOR SEAU # 55 - MAYBE A MEMORABLE YEAR FOR THE BOLTS.. But first thing is first , win next week and avoid serious injuries and keep that winning formula going for the rest of the season. I like what i see and and lets hope no unforeseen injuries happen that could derail a rather impressive start to the 2012 Season..

TITANS AT CHARGERS WEEK 2

TITANS ( 0-1)  AT CHARGERS (1-0)WEEK 2:
 Here are two teams that played poorly last week, by one team is 1-0 , then again The Titans played the 3 time SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS PATRIOTS.. Titan QB LOCKER AND HASSELBACK had a combined QB rating of 80.0 Rivers 71.0 AND NO PICKS.. The TITANS got behind early and pretty much took away their home run hitter Chris Johnson out of the game,, he had a 0.4 rush per attempt.. wow.. That wont happen again, unless the Chargers jump to a early lead which I feel they want to get that home opening sell out crowd going. The Chargers this season have tremendous pressure to win. It has been 2 long years on no playoffs and the fans and media are restless. Norv Turner was never a fan favorite and the media is beginning to follow suit.. Sure he has won over 100 games but he lost more than 100 games . My analysis to that is he's a average coach, who inherited a gifted and talented team and has failed to lift team to their potential.. Last weeks game was boring , and hard to watch even for die hard Charger fans.. Most fans recall the LT , aerial circus days.. with Vincent Jackson and prime Antonio Gates.. Those great players are gone..and even though gates looks good this year his beat years are behind him. The loss of Vincent Jackson and MIKE TOLBERT , were harmful because those two accounted for a majority of TDS last season. The bringing journeymen weapons of Robert Meachem and Eddie 'one time wonder Royal .. and Ronnie Brown, does bring in veteran names. But the Chargers need results , not potential or guys who used to produce.. The Preseason loss of budding star from SAN DIEGO STATE . Vincent Brown was a terrible blow to already injured offense. Ryan Mathews, car accident and injury on the first play of a pre season play , makes me wonder about his real desire to be a NFL STAR. The Chargers are a walking wounded crew , that will put up a good game because the defense will hold of a less than talented offense and a inconsistent QUARTERBACK. The chargers need a big and impressive win, to get the masses pumped up , because right now the fans are not impressed with this years team. I see the Bolts using play action to set up long pass plays and help protect Rivers from sacks.. I like the use of Brown and Royal on screen passes or short dump passes,.but the coming out party maybe Ladrius Green the rookie that will get alot of playing time,. because of Gates rib injury. Rivers need to pick his shots and avid sacks and turnovers, I see the defense getting good pressure and forcing alot of in completions. I see a better effort from the Chargers this week, and good play calling. The defense will be tested early , because Chris Johnson is a beast, but if the Chargers can jump to a quick and early lead. Chris Johnson will be used as passing weapon than a running attack. I don't see this being a competitive game because of the QB situation , but with a star runner like Chris Johnson and the history of the Chargers not faring well against dynamic runners. Adrian Peterson , Mcfadden , Johnson, The key is stop the run and attack the quarterback and jump to a early lead and use a ball control offense late in the game,. to keep Johnson on the sidelines. If anything we want to see the Bolts offensive line play better and the defense make enough stops to secure a win. I predict a convincing win with Rivers having a big day and the defense playing well. Chargers 35- Titans 14..

BROWNS AT BENGALS - The battle of the Ohio teams.. Both teams have pretty good defenses but the Bengal's have the much better offense. If the Bengal's jump to a early lead , it might be a blowout. I see Kirkpatrick having a big day,,.
VIKINGS AT COLTS- Adrian Peterson looks like the Beast of season past. Bad news for the bad defensive team , the colts. The Colts will have trouble containing AP , with out their star defensive player Freeney.. This might be a blowout win for the Vikings.. Andrew luck.. is good but the defensive issues is what will kill the Colts this game and this year.
RAIDERS AT DOLPHINS- The Raiders looked terrible , and so did the Dolphins,. both teams are desperate , but I see the home team winning a ugly defensive game decided by turnovers and penalties. This could be the hardest game to watch because of the poor playing and bad teamwork.. Fins win a close and ugly game. 
CARDINALS AT PATRIOTS- Tom Brady and his bunch are going to have a field day against this young and overmatched opponent. Easy , consistent beat down for the Patriots..
BUCS AT GIANTS- Both teams have good defenses m but the Giants will not lose two in a row at home.. The Giants will have a easy win at home and get back into the NFC EAST race..
RAVENS AT EAGLES - Th battle of the birds,,, The Ravens looked great offensively and defensively, the eagles looked good on defense , but Mike Vick and the offense is struggling.. If the eagles struggles to score against a browns defense.. I don't see them doing better against the ravens d.. Ravens win easily and convincingly.
SAINTS AT  PANTHERS- Drew Brees had a tough game last week, I see him bouncing back and having a big game. This could be one of the highest scoring games of the week, but I see The Saints winning late with long time consuming drives..
TEXANS AT JAGUARS- The Texans are my underdog pick to Win the Afc and  go onto to the SUPERBOWL AND lose the  Niners.. Texans win easily against a over matched Jags team..
REDSKINS AT RAMS- RG3 is for real and he will have another big day against the rams. Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson have not been consistent and i dont see that changing this week.. RESDSKINS roll by the inconsistent rams..
COWBOYS AT SEAHAWKS- The boys are back and they will handle the young and inexperienced Seahawks.. I like what Head Coach Pete Carrol is doing with Seattle,. but Dallas defense looks awesome this year.. Too much for the rookie sensation Russel Wilson.. 
JETS VS. STEELERS- The jets rolled up 48 pts last week. But that was a mirage,, because the defense contributed to most of the pts.. The Steelers are upset and ready to take advantage of a missing darele revis.. Big Ben has a big day and the steelers bounce back with easy win at home. 
TITANS AT CHARGERS- The Titans have Chris Johnson ,. who the past 2 years has been the best running back in the game./ He is the titan offense. The Chargers plan to take a early lead and and pound and ground late in the game to protect Rivers , and give the defense  a break from Chris Johnson. This might be one of the blow out games this week.. 
SUNDAY NIGHT GAME :
LIONS AT NINERS- A rematch between the overly aggressive hand shake.. I see this being a emotional  and hard hitting game. The niners win because their defense is one of the best in the league and the lions are still searching for their formula of success. The niners are the team to beat in the NFC. and I see them winning at home with alot of running by Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter.. 
The niners will control the tempo and will not commit turnovers.. Niners win decisively at home.. 
MONDAY NIGHT GAME :
BRONCOS AT FALCONS- My upset special of the week. As good as Peyton was against a solid steeler defense. The falcons were electrifying against the Chiefs at arrowhead. I see Matt Ryan lighting up the score board and Manning trying to keep up... Not enough play makers to keep up with one of the better offense in the NFL. THE FALCONS WIN IN A SHOOTOUT!!

My farewell Speech- Sept 17, 2012

My Farewell Speech - Inspired by Derek Roslonek and Cory Meade...
   Hello , everyone!
    I just want to say what a wonderful experience I had in my final months on Board USS FIGHTING PELELIU LHA 5. My transfer or booting out of my Supply division was at first a humiliating and hurtful experience. I felt i had a purpose in my division , even though my yelling and hard core methods offended many new sailors. The older ones 25 and above seem to understand my wisdom , logic or advise. I know I didn't always say or do the politically correct thing , but that's the way i grew up. I try to assimilate and be like the young crowd, but my experience and common sense would not allow me to totally melt into their way of thinking. I mean I come from the no cell phone , no internet , no email Navy. I was thrust ed into a deployment weeks after checking on board and at that time it was the cleaning or ending of the Persian Gulf War. It was a rough time and a harsh one at that too. But we found solace in each other. In the Navy I grew up in , it was all about brotherhood , team work. looking out for one another , right or wrong, covering for one another. But when I checked on board Jan 2011, I was not prepared what sequence of events that would take a gung ho , hard charger into a disgruntled, disrespected , humiliated and pissed off sailor. My rants and arguments in S9 are going to be legendary and worth memories for all that witnessed those events.
  But the ERO9 Crew , became my saving grace , a place to readjust , to work on my issues, anger management , patience , temper tantrums.. etc. It was time to become that youthful , and playful guy that was hidden because of all the bullshit surrounding me. I must say some of the guys and gals I worked with in ER09 , became closer friends and true shipmates than alot of the supply types. I'm deeply honored and I have great respect for Derek and Cory and Greg for assisting me in my journey and final destination into the civilian world. I will always cherish all the jokes, the Dick's last resort party and the insults from the management staff. Why because i followed a waitress , by jumping over the fence before the damn bar was open.. haha.. well anyways, I really always laugh about the jokes we played on one another .. The I never take pictures of myself is the best one. The gay jokes.. the Heavy metal music, MY van Halen and AC DC overplayed songs.. Sorry about that Whittaker. My clone or soon to be copy cat Mclendon.. hehhe..MY many pop corn eating's.. the movie nights.. the whole experience being with the best group of guys and gals o the boat.. You are truly unique and different , because you all have attitudes and demeanor's that didn't fit in with the rest of the crowd.,. You dared to question things and dared to be different. Out cast , perhaps, but I have been one my whole career. I 'm not going to apologize for my attitude or demeanor. Because I am what I am ,, and I 'm POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN..
 My final thoughts is Be true to those that are true to you and always look out for one another. No one is going to protect you or help you than your own division.. and I so happy , even for a brief moment you all had a chance to experience My brand of lecturing and teaching and I wish you all the best in your future goals.. and I will always cherish the many memories we created for one another.. Thank guys I will truly miss you and I love the great times we shared and they will be forever embedded in my mind and spirit!! For those of you who like to live .. I salute you!!!

CHARGERS-RAIDERS- FINAL ANALYSIS SEPT 11,2012

CHARGERS VS. RAIDERS SEPT 10,2012.. Final analysis..Inspired by New Charger Fans..

         First of all , Chargers win! , Not the usual pretty aerial show , but a win is a win is a win. The older fans recall the glory days with Marty as Coach THE GREAT LT , gates , sproles , Jackson , etc.. Merriman a dangerous defense.. Recall those days.. 2006 . 14-2 , Home field advantage, LTS GREATEST YEAR,but those days are gone.. We have a much different Coach and style of play , we have different players , its a totally different team. But todays Charger fans are like the raiders... boasting about yester year and teams that are not on the field right now.. Both the Chargers and raiders have the playmakers and the players to win the AFC WEST. For the Raiders they need discipline and organization, they need a mental tough and determined Coach , and i feel Dennis Allen has down a great job on the defense, its the offense that needs some tweaking and need it now!! You cant expect Mcfadden to have 28-30 touches a game.. he will not last a season..They need to find a long snapper and the other playmakers need to step up .. Bey , Jones , <Murphy, Ford,and thier tight end Brandon myers,,But that takes effort and teamwork, which I dont see from them. Its too  many ego's and perosnalities wanting to do their thing , and as long as that mentality that will repeat the historic raiders seasons since 2002.
   For the Chargers, this is different team, this is not a aerial circus , or ground and pound running attack. This team is a finesese team that loo for match ups and trickery to be explosive on offense. While the defense is going to a consistent , aggressive defense that will bend but dont break mentality. This team may not be as axciting as teams past. But i see a consistent balanced team that can win the AFC WEST. Sure Peyton Manning looked good but he had a strong running game to assist him , ala. John Elway when he won his two superbowls many years ago,. The chargers need Ryan Mathews and his dynamic speed and power to get the ground game going. I'm not impressed with the chargers offensive line , they were not opening holes or protecting Rivers consistently enough for Rivers to do his thing. Coach Turner knows the offensive line is a work in progress and thats why he is calling these types of passing plays, Until the offensive line meshes and get their act together. Charger fans , lets judge this current team as a team that will use the ground game and passing attack to take a lead, win the time of possesion deal and have a defense that will bend , but dont give up alot of points. The Chargers are going to win in ugly but effective ways , and for alot of old charger fans that hard to swallow. We have gorwn accustomed to Air Coryell , The Drew Brees era or early Philip Rivers era.. Now we are going to be a more balanced team that will use offense as their best defense. The thinking keep the oppsoing quarterbacks on the bench , while the charger offense , ground and pounds and shirt pass their way to long scoring drives,. The days of putting up 40 pts a game may be over, I see games being won like last night game. 22-14 , or 28-17 , type of scores. Like i said alot of us fans are not used to that style , but if you want to enjoy todays Charger brand of football. Expect lower scoring games with dominating defenses. and more discipline and composure from the team and their leader Philip Rivers, Next Sunday its ' WHITE OUT SUNDAY.. THE CHARGERS ARE REQUESTING FANS TO WEAR WHITE JERSEYS OR T SHIRTS, TO PROVIDE A WHITE OUT BACKGROUND..CHARGER FANS STOP BRAGGING ABOUT THE 2006 CHARGERS,, THIS 2012 AND A DIFFERENT STYLE OF FOOTBALL. Last night provided a defense that is going to be more aggressive and stingy , While theoffense will be a time consuming offense that will assist the defense by having long scoring drives and not turning over the football and playing a tough aggressive offensive style ala.. the 1994 Charger team that went to the SUPER BOWL,, and memory serves me well that the Charger were never considered a SUPERBOWL CONTENDER.. So, advice to fans.. Root for this team and accept this new style of winning. Its not the usual charger offense,, But we saw what happens with showy aerial attacks. No playoff wins or SUPERBOWL Appearances.. Lets give this team a chance to show what they going to become.. A strong aggressive , consistent style of play ,that will cause turnovers and dont give up turnovers.. I see a different style of playing and winning this season, and I expect a dog fight with all AFCV WEST TEAMS, and the winner of this division will be a force to reckon with come playoff time.. Yes, I feel the chargers can and will win the AFC WEST , AWITH A 11-5, 12-4 RECORD with the wild card going to the Broncos , Jets or Steelers ,, with a 11-5 , 10-6 record. Lets get ready next week,. The Tennessee Titans and the awesome Chris Johnson are coming to sun diego!! Charger fans get ready for what may be a memorable season.. !!

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL CHARGERS VS RAIDERS

CHARGERS VS. RAIDERS MONDAY NIGHT SHOW DOWN..

   Lets see we have two teams that finished 8-8 , but the raiders were 7-4 and on the brink on winning their first division title since 2002. But injuries and Palmer returning to his inconsistent play with the Bengals, led to their final collapse , ending when the chargers beat them in the last game of the season. I'm not a stat guy but the Chargers have won the last seven out of eight games in Oakland and have more consistency with their players and coaching staff. The Raiders have a new  GM FROM the PACKERS -Reggie Mckenzie and fired Hue Jackson , and hired former defensive coordinator Dennis Allen. The Chargers added three new starters on defense , Number 1 pick Mel ingraham is supposed to add a pass rush which the chargers desperately needed. But the problem was the chargers scoring too quickly exposing the defense to long drawn out drives with teams with great running backs.. The Raiders have the games best , if healthy and Mcfadden is that explosive and dangerous , but has failed to play a full season , aka like Ryan Mathews of the Chargers..
   Simply put you have a great passing team the Chargers vs. a Great running team, both defense are the same, they give up alot of yards and points and don't tackle or protect leads late in the game.. Can Carson Palmer play better than last year? We will see , the raiders want to play a west coast type offense , but I think Terrel Pryor can pull that off better than Palmer. If I were the raiders , I would ground and pound a very young and inexperienced defense and make them fight all night long.. The Chargers have to pass, they don't have a very good offensive line and Rivers is too impatient to stick to a running game. He wants to throw to his big guns.. Gates and Floyd.. but the wild card could be Eddie Royal , or the rookie TE ,,Ladarius  Green- the rookie , the future of the chargers..when Gates is done.. Remember this is gates 1oth year in the league and has suffered so tough injuries. The Pressure is on Coach Turner and AJ Smith, this team has missed the playoffs 2 years in a row, and the way The Broncos looked tonight with Peyton Manning, the Chargers aspirations of winning their 5th AFC WEST TITLE IN 7 years, may be in jeopardy.. Lets see how both teams do,,I feel the team with more consistent offensive  play , without turnovers a stronger pass rush will decide this game. This a statement game early and both teams want to make that statement..
   My final pick is that Chargers with a more productive passing game and a surprising showing running the ball , will win this high scoring shootout.. and add fuel to the debate which team is the best in the AFC WEST.. It will be a dog fight, but I feel the changes in coaches and philosophies will hurt the Raiders , because everything takes time and against a explosive offense like the chargers , they will get exposed. But because the Chargers have inconsistent play on defense , is what will make the game exciting and close. AFC WEST will be a fight between the Broncos - Chargers and Raiders , because they all have franchise capable QB;s and defenses that not too far apart. Injuries and turnovers will decide alot of games this year, the team that avoids those issues will have a great season. The Broncos won that stat last season as well as the division crown. Now With Peyton Manning the broncos are legitimate contenders for the Lombardi trophy.. But like i said earlier,. Lets see how the Charger - raider goes before I truly crown who will win the division.. Until.. Enjoy Monday Night.. It should be a fight !!

Retirement Time..

RT= RETIREMENT TIME..
   Now that my time in the navy is ending and I'm getting set to be with the family , My eldest is talking about leaving the nest and Joining the United States Air Force.. wow.. I know i have given my rants about get out of the House by 18 ,, but I never thought it would be the truth..? I mean I set my sights on retiring and spending time with my family, I never thought " a part of that time would be attending not only his high school graduation but his Boot camp too. I mean , I shouldn't Be so selfish to advise him not to do it. Hell. I served 20 years in the Military myself to get away from my dad and overly competitive family members. But I thought I was a different kind of father? But I guess , he has my wanderer and exploring gene, where get restless if we stay put too long. I'm very proud of my son, he helps me with projects around the house and its very smart about alot of things. I admired his temperament and patience, but right now .. I'm a bit overwhelmed with with emotions about my eldest wants to fly the coupe.. so to speak.. Well I was there for alot of his activities, karate , king fu , boxing ., dancing , football.. but now.. at this time of his life he has reached out to me and asked for advice... Well son, do what you feel is right for you.. If joining the military and getting away to travel is what you want to do then do it. I cant say i had a bad life. but I cant say it was a easy life either. But the benefits are coming into action now.,. But it does take alot of motivation , determination and patience to serve the is great nation for 20 years. But then again., maybe my son just wants a short time , to see the world and experience things on his own. I wish him well and I want him to be happy, its just I never thought this issue would come up so quickly after i retire? But like a good father i will speak with him , and advise him and set up what goals he wants out of life and the military. I know he's going through alot of changes in his personality and he wants to be successful. I just hope , he's doing it because its what he wants , and not because some girl hurt him, or he feels like he missed out living in the Temecula Valley area , than living in San Diego like I did.. Well he still has his senior year to deal with, like events , functions and parties and proms... and College to complete.. Then finally his desire to join the United States Air Force.. Wow.. I cant believe my son has finally grown up in front of me.. and I don't want to slow him down.. just because papa wants to spend some time with his eldest. Its true .. time does go by fast.. I still remember taking him to Karate classes in Japan, or football practise a few years back. I will support him in whatever he wants to do , I respect his wishes and I want him to do well in his life ambitions.

EAGLES AT BROWNS- Mike Vick and hos crew , should win handily ,, The browns are rebuilding..
RAMS AT LIONS- The Rams have Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson.. Not enough against a very good and confident Lions team. I see the lions winning easily at home.. Stafford and Megatron have a big day..
PATRIOTS AT TITANS- Patriots are the favorites to WIN THE AFC Title.. and will handle the young and rebuilding Titans,.. Chris Johnson will have a good day , but the Patriots will have a better day.. Tom Brady will have a big day..
FALCONS AT CHIEFS- The Chiefs are the wild card team this year , I see Matt Cassel with all his weapons giving a strong run for the AFC west title , if.. they all can stay healthy and Cassel gets back to winning form.. The Chiefs win a close one at home.
JAGUARS AT VIKINGS- True Pickem game.. Both teams have a shot at winning, I like the Vikings at home, The Jags only have Jones drew and I'm not sure if his mind is set to have a big day ,,, Low scoring and probably the lowest scoring game of the day..
REDSKINS AT SAINTS- RG3 Rookie vs. that Saints defense at home.. The Saints will score early and often and show the league , despite their issues they are set to make another run for the SUPERBOWL!! DREW BREES IS SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH,,!!
BILLS ANY JETS - The Jets are confused about Sanchez and tebow.. and that drama will affect their play at home. The Bills are the dark horses with pretty good defense and a very under rated offense. I see the Bills pulling off a upset at New york.. or should I say New Jersey?
DOLPHINS AT TEXANS- The Texans are one of the better teams in the AFC, the Dolphins have too many new faces and young players to upset the very talented Texans!! Easy home win for the Texans!!
49ERS AT PACKERS - This could be a preview of the NFC Championship , both teams have explosive players on offense and defense. The issue is the niners dont have a Aaron Rodgers - Franchise QB.. Alex Smith needs to play well and get the ball to his play makers.
SEAHAWKS AT CARDINALS -The sea hawks have the newest and freshest uniforms in the NFL. and have in my opinion the best rookie QB in Russell Wilson. Yes he will have better stats than the two highly touted ROOKIE QBS.. ANDREW LUCK AND ROBERT GRIFFIN III. The seahawks win this one easily.
PANTHERS AT BUCCANEERS- Cam Newton was the surprise player last year and I see him having another great year and upsetting the Buccaneers.

SUNDAY NIGHT :
STEELERS AT BRONCOS - The Steel curtain and Big Ben spoil Peyton Manning opening day or night at Denver. I see the Dick Lebeau defense raise havoc on the complicated manning offense. manning will get sacked multiple times and through a couple of picks in a ugly lopsided game.

MONDAY NIGHT :
BENGALS AT RAVENS- The Bengals have a talented offense and the Ravens have a talented but aging defense, Joe flacco is alot better than years gone by and the Ravens are pressured to win because of that aging defense. I see the ravens controlling a low scoring defensive battle..  

CHARGERS AT RAIDERS- Raiders have a new head coach , new defensive coordinator and schemes , too many changes or a historically inconsistent team. The Chargers made alot of changes on defense to stop the run. Rivers , Royal , and Gates are due for big comeback years and add Ryan Mathews when he returns to line up , I see a potent running game with him Veteran Ronnie Brown , and brinkley.. This will be a tough game but the Chargers prevailing at the end.

NFL WEEK 1 - COWBOYS AT GIANTS

NFL WEEK 1 ; COWBOYS VS. GIANTS...

    Are you ready for some football? What better way to start the season with America's team vs the New York Football Giants.. I'm not a stat guy , but the Giants are 5-1 against the cowboys,, and the Cowboys are a different new team alot of changes on the offensive line and two new corners.. They needed to make those moves because defensively they were near the bottom in defense and that offensive line had romo running for his life. Is it enough? I say No, the Giants just have too much talent and a history of doing well at home against the boys. Plus Scary Jerry Jones once again has put unreal pressure on his team , saying the window of winning is closing.. We all know how Romo does under pressure under big games.. This is a opening day game against rivals who not only reloaded , but I feel is better than last years SUPER BOWL TEAM. I'm not saying they are going to repeat,.. The Packers and saints of the NFC will fight them for that. But barring major injuries or long losing streaks I see the giants having a solid season and ready to repeat! The Giants are that good. As for the Cowboys,, injuries to witten and make shift offensive line.. I see issues early and often in this game. If the cowboys cant get going early.. that loud crowd will make it difficult for Romo and that young offensive line.. I want to see a close , exciting game . But I see the Giants playing great defense and winning this game handily.. 34- 20. Manning will look sharp because his running game will control the clock and his play action will eat up that young and inexperienced corner backs.. Its my pick and I feel it will come true. Too many injuries and too many line up changes will hurt consistent offensive or defensive play for the Cowboys.. But if they can score first and often , they have a chance,. but I see a flustered , and running for his life , because that young line is no match for the Mighty Giants.. If anything , its the start of a new season. I just wish , its closer and more exciting than I expect.. But whatever the case,, Thank GOD FOOTBALL IS BACK!!

Black Beauty strikes again..Inspired from car lovers ..
  It seems every time I pull Beauty out of my garage , it attracts attention.. From the neighbors , the kids and other onlookers.. Well the so called loud exhaust and the pitch black clear coat with Red accent flames off the hood is very eye catching. I cant go anywhere without people slowing to take a glance or people speeding up to get a look, or people just plain out gawking when I'm at the stop lights...Its a awesome feeling, I mean My Nissan 4x4 gets looks and compliments , but nothing like my Retro looking 70's inspired Dodge Challenger.. Just today , while shopping at Stater Bro's An old man said what a beautiful car,, looks so similar to the original but beefier , or more muscular.. I agree ,at first I thought is was too beefy and too modern looking, but after a while , one day.. haha.. I realized this is a awesome looking ride,,plus I pamper the sucker like crazy.. always garaged and always being wiped down with detailing products.. I treat like a queen... oh well. Back to the car. A few weeks back at one of my co workers reup ceremony - Derek's... We went to Dicks last resort on the gas lamp quarter of down town.. I was so early that i jumped the fence like a illegal alien and the owner said, " What the hell are you doing jumping my fence and coming into my place before opening time.. What audacity I have,, huh? Yup I'm fearless or just a dumb ass,, haha. oh well finally the party arrives and we have fun,, After leaving the place another old man , actually went up to my side passenger window and said he had the same exact 70's challenger back in the day.. I didn't want to tell him this was new retro looking car , because the smile on his face was priceless.. right? Why ruin a poor eyesight old man of memories of his youth.. I mean the stares and smiles and thumbs up i get is alot like how a rock star feels.. I mean, I'm driving a legendary car from the Movie fast and furious five ,, and to this day that movie will always signify , why I bought this challenger.. The looks is muscular , yet elegant and different looking than the Camaro or Mustang.. and its bigger and beefier looking.. Hey those two other muscle cars may win on a track,, But I like my chances on a short drag strip of a highway.. The challenger gets into gear fast and moves quickly.. But it has blind spots and at times , I miss being higher up in a truck. But the speed and performance , handling and luxury comforts , ultimately wins the daily driver test. I used love driving my truck.,. But with my high performance dream machine.. The truck feels rough, slow and workmanlike.. Don't get me wrong I still love my truck.. But The challenger has spoiled me with great looks , great feelings , great sounds fron the sound system and of course a new attitude , for better or worse.. I love my Black Beauty , it has rejuvenated my attitude and outlook on life.. Its a dream car I always wanted.. But wasn't sure what muscle car to get? If the Trans am - Firebird was still around I would get that.. But since its not unless you want to get body kits and stick on a camaro.. Why? I decided to go MOPAR , OR NO CAR..!! Since St Patric day 2012,, My ride has provided so much fun , like the Otay Ranch lesson from so called white brother Bud, to the CHP look that made him stand still like a Zombie.. to the looks and gawks from Car wash places and Detail shops I drive by in San Diego Or Lake Elsinore.. Whatever the case,, I'm getting a head rush every time I start up beauty and take her for a spin.. Lets just say my daily trips to SD , is SO much more fun and enjoyable.. I cant believe I owned a freaking square ass looking Saturn.. Such a ugly car.. and 4 cylinders.. well that's why I blew out 2 transmissions and went over 300,000 miles before it gave up.. Now I plan to put many more miles on my Dream Car,, and keep it going .. Because That's it unless I win the lottery. I will not buy another Muscle car.. As for the people who love seeing me drive my ride around The Temecula Valley area and San Diego.. It must be fun to watch beauty zoom by or cruise by.. If you haven't seen her yet.. You will if you drive the 15 freeway or 805 on the weekends.. My ride not only is my dream car, but it has become the daily driver with show room finish and looks. Its kind of tiring to maintain the look. But I'm game.. until I'm too old.. ? Then I will use the car washes and detail shops.. But for now.. I'm enjoying the rebirth of Muscle cars during this time.. because I'm sure , it will put on the shelves and become classics owned by a few selective car owners.. Its a state of mind and almost a obligation to own and maintain a classic or retro looking Muscle Car and I plan to uphold that high standard.. MID-LIFE CRISIS- INSPIRED BY CORY..

Mid -life crisis- Inspired by my co worker Cory,,
   I've been in the Navy a long time and my co supervisor is about to retire, at first I saw him as a laid back guy who just had a few misfortunes at the wrong time which affected him. But I soon realized this guy is a frustrated , upset , pissed off and often times disappointed guy. He tells of stories how people mistreat him, misunderstand him.. At a first impression, he seems to be a alright guy, but you later realize he has a mean streak, and a violent one at that. If you ever see him in the gym attack a punching bag, hes freaking fast and furious and the look in his eyes when he hits that bag is mean , mean .mean.. I like him , but at times I must admit I worry about him, especially he is about to retire, I have advised him in subtle ways and trying to get him to open up. But I guess he feels he has this image to uphold,, and to me that's where his troubles start and end. The Navy has made him into a Bad Ass, and because of that persona, when he does try to reach out, they don't believe him, I'm sure his own family wonders about him. But I must admit , in a street fight , bar fight I want him on my side, his tenacity , his passion and his skills are awesome. Like I said he's amazing to watch, and I feel honored that I was able to him in action , that is on the bag. To be honest , to see him in real action is probably awesome and probably very painful for the other guy.. But, I continue to rock out the division with music and stories , and hoping he comes out of the rage machine, he has on occasion , like one time he did a square dance two step only a white boy could do.. But he's Asian ,but because he acts so white ,,, or so Americanized its a trip.. Many times I Forget he is Asian, because he has perfect English and great command of his voice and mannerisms, he confident , firm and fearless, I like this guy , but like I said hes going to the civilian world and they work differently.. Thank goodness he has months of retirement leave,, He needs the break to make that transition and start his new life with a fresh and renewed effort. I wish him well, and I know he has the ability to be a great success whatever career choice he makes. But I do want him to find other outlets for his aggression, maybe guitar playing during his leave time.. I mean i do it because its creative , relaxing and fun. I see the creative side of him at times. I mean he was goofing with my fender stratocaster guitar , and made some van halen like sounds.. Very cool. But I know he just wants to leave, and the games some of military brass plays gets to him. But I'm happy for him that he managed to get the benefits and pay for all his service. I mean he doesn't read about history , he is history.. haha. Well , my friend Mel , I wish you well and please relax and get set for a nice new life and perhaps a new hobby like guitar playing.. I feel you have maxed out all the fighting techniques , you know all of them so well. Try something to challenge you ,, Play the guitar,, and who knows,, one of these you and I can jam out,. if you get to that level..haha.. No but for reals,.. My friend is a good guy and all the feelings of returning to his youthful vigor and attitude is fine , but you must remember your a grown man with wife and kids to care for.. be careful with them and your muscle car. I know you always wanted one, but it seems you went back in time and became that 17 year old kid that had a muscle car with the attitude and lack of thought.. Have fun,, but be careful.. Your too cool of guy to get hurt or hurt others.. I respect you man,, and I'm looking forward to your farewell speeches and emails, because they are entertaining and at times heartbreaking, you do have a talent my friend , but don't let the mid life crisis thoughts take over your perspective.. This will not only help you but your family and friends that Love you , but are concerned about your bad ass attitude!! Enjoy each day and may you have many years of enjoyment with your family and friends.. Peace out my friend and I will be there , if you need me.. but to be honest I know you will be doing fine.. Why?
