THE NEW NAVY ..INSPIRED BY FELLOW SHIPMATES..
I'm old Navy,, hazing , fist fights , fan room counseling, blood pinning , pay back , beatings.. Yea, I know none of that exists and perhaps for the better? But I miss the old Navy , where if you has issues with your LPO or fellow worker , you basically went to a storeroom or berthing and punched it or wrestled it out. I mean no one got seriously hurt , bumps , bruises , cuts , maybe a broken nose , but no life threatening injuries.. Than afterwards , you shook hands and 9 out of 10 times you became buddies.. Why? Because back in the day we communicated , we talked , we yelled , we argued , we develop relationships,, We knew whats was up , because we didn't have cell phones , or lap tops or ipods,, face book, internet.. We had each other to entertain ,, and entertain we did,, Sure we had site tv,, and most if the time it was the same old movies every single time,.,. cycle through movies. But hey that's what we had.. The hazing on wog day , getting our ass whupped by fire hoses and having our knees and knuckles bleed as we were forced to walk on non skid around the ship was painful , but also playfull. it was a rite of passage so to speak.. Today , we don't see any of those things because , this generation is too smart , too sophisticated to lower themselves to such humiliations ,, hmm. maybe that's the problem in today's navy,, to much thought , not enough guts or passion, and I wonder if these new bloods will handle war.. but we are Americans and no matter how crappy or lazy we look , when times are challenging or what we step up. Its just our nature , we know how to step up.. But I still miss the old days because all the fist fights, arguments and corrective beatings , built mental strength , a bond , a sense of belonging. I don't see the same bonding in today's navy,.. To be honest, if i joined today's navy , I could not do 20 years , because of the constant changes with uniforms, with regulation restrictions on liberty.. I mean back in the day we could go out by ourselves , we could spend nights away from ship without chits.. we could come to the ship drunk and sleep it off.. Not in today's navy.. you come to the ship drunk ,. you get reprimanded .. Its just a different scene today and to be honest I'm worned out , I'm tired , imean 20 years of standing long watches , painting , chipping , cleaning , swabbing , exercises , drills , it wears you down mentally,,, physically too, I mean my hearing and sight is bad , I don't sleep well , I have sleep apnea and have a freaking machine to help me sleep. I have high cholesterol and blood pressure, well the greasy crappy food, I have a torn leg muscle ,, twice over , and it hurts to this day,,. I take pain meds because the pain at times is unbearable.. but you know the navy is still sticking me , and pressuring me over little shits,, but I know I'm not done until I'm really done.. But I'm so tired of all the bull shit and lack of cohesion , I'm ready to go.. For my fellow sailors ,, hang in there , and keep getting educated , and be ready.. The Navy has higher tenure , and Perform to serve regulations that will baffle you,, I have seen people that should be in the navy , get told to leave, and then other " dirt bags,, that are kept in.. Yea,, its who you know and who you blow,., and if you don't play the game,, you will suffer like me.. Don't get me wrong I have many fond memories of my time served , but I also have as many or more times when I hated where i was and what i was doing. Because of those stresses, I also became a alcoholic, and unable to control my emotions when drunk,, Happy drunk ,, not me.. I'm a disgruntled , angry pissed off drunk , who talks alot of trash.. But , those were the good old days.. because of the way the New Navy is.. I remain sober ,,,, but when I'm retired. I'm going to drink like a fish, let my hair grow and be as un military as possible.. But that's still some time away.. For now, I can only say.. Do your time,. use your GI BILL and get a real career where you will be treated fairly and not be degraded , belittle and humiliated on a daily weekly basis..But if you like that then make the Navy your choice,, But I know I wouldn't want any of my boys to join the military unless they want to be a officer...But even then. its not all that great for them too.. You really have to like being away from family , being told do things that are unpleasant,, standing long watches that make no sense and doing boring , repetitive drills that get you hot and bothered...Its not a easy life and its not a hard life , but it is a lonely life and a stressful one... THE CHARGERS ANALYSIS 2011..
The Charger Analysis .2011...
ok,, I loved the cardinals game , and for some weird reason , because of our defense and our quick score offense , I see alot of games ending this way.. Unless , Ryan Mathews gets his act together , what do I mean, Like fumbling.. he's reckless and what bothers me the most is , when he fumbled , suddenly he goes to the trainer on the sideline. like saying.,. I was injured . hurt.// Guess what Ryan.. Expect big guys to Punch you , grab you , land on you,, and if anything you must play hurt .. You idolized LT , that guy played through groin injuries , hamstrings ,. broken ribs.. and constant hits I mean , for awhile he was the chargers offense until Drew Brees came along and of course Philip Rivers.. Ryan, you must step up this season, not just run hard and be durable , but you have to learn the offense. Know who to block and and when to make cuts and take off. The blocking will make you friends with the QB, IF Rivers is comfortable with you , he's going to ask for you to play.. But I feel he's not comfortable with you in there , that's why your not in there on 3rd downs.. Plus to be honest Tolbert is running harder and making gains on most of his runs.. He also knows how to block and looks so comfortable catching and running with the ball. I hope you step up and be that main guy ,, All the fans want to see, I know its a pain in a half to follow a future hall of famer and you will be compared to him. Its unfair and unjust but you came after a legend.. The Fans of San Diego were spoiled by greatness and when they don't see it anymore. they get restless .. It even happen when LT , lost a step and wasn't his great self.. and before you knew he was gone. Just like Sproles.. and just like you if you dont step up.. I like your style and I think you have potential , but you must have better ball handling skills and make better reads of defense. too many times I see you run into blocks or make the wrong move into tacklers. Other times I see you almost break it , but this is the NFL .. almost doesnt count. Because of this passing offense,. you will get a spread out defense.. You must take advantage !! I hope you will and I know you will , just relax and play the game.. With Tolbert the power runner and you as the speedster , you will keep defenses honest , and with that passing offense , I believe is the best or one of the best i the league.. I see offensive fire works.. But the formula is pass to take big lead , and Run late in the game to protect lead , and keep our defense rested .. If that happens.. I see a good run in the playoffs and perhaps that long awaited appearance in the Super Bowl.. Oh,, we also need to win the turnover ratio and play 100% better on special teams. I see record breaking season for the offense.. I see Rivers passing for over 5,000 yds and watching Gates , Jackson , and Floyd get 1,000 yds each , and Tolbert , Mathews, Crayton , Tutu, Brown,, Mcmicheal getting the remainder of yards.. I also see tolbert and Mathews rush for over 1500 yds combined and controlling games , by running late. I also predict Bob Sanders getting the comeback player of the year.. I see Cason become a star.. and Kaeding finally get the monkey off his back .. I see a new feel and new attitude and with that folks.. I see a different result this year.. Leap of faith.. a sense of urgency.. A time to come out!! But like anything else.. we must stay healthy , get lucky , start out fast,, beat some elite teams.. and get home field advantage, and our chances are very good. Norv Turner has finally the team he wanted and the players he wanted for his system and now its time to let this team be bullies. Take the lead early , build a lead and finally run , to kill the clock and protect the lead and of course resting our defense. The running game is a work in progress , but our passing is ready to explode.. The defense, will be good and the play of Sanders and Spikes and of course the front three , pushing the opposing line back will give our secondary chances to make plays , like picks,, because opposing QBS will be running and throwing in hurry to avoid hard hits and sacks.. The Chargers and a handful of NFL teams have a chance to win every game they play because of their talents and skills and abilties.. What will help all those teams is winning the turnover battle and having running attack to protect leads late in the game and protecting defense for the playoffs and Superbowl game.. I believe the Saints and Chargers have the most explosive offense in the NFL.. and oh what a story that would make ,, Mentor meets Student , former team mates.. Brees and Rivers.. and Sproles.. That would make a incredible angle and story...and what is my pre season early pick as the early SUPERBOWL PICK.. SAINTS VS. CHARGERS... until the next Sport story.. THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011..

CHARGER VS. CARDINALS - REPORT AUG 2011..
CHARGERS VS CARDINALS - REPORT AUG 2011..
Now , if you have a weak heart or cant stand last minute heroics then this is a game you need not watch.. Id you love offense , running and passing , then this was it for the Preseason.. Last minute or last second TD pass from veteran Billy Volek to rookie sensation Bryan Walters was spectacular.. The game was full of quick passes , long running plays , trick plays.. defensive TD's on both sides and a tremendous comeback. If the Chargers have time in any game this year they showed they can score quickly.
Philip Rivers and his crew. Jackson ,Floyd , Tolbert , Gates ,Mcmichael , Goodman, could a difficult task for many defensive coordinator's. and Lets not forget Ryan Mathews,. Clayton , and another rookie sensation Todman, If you play zone Rivers will find the open space. play man to man look for one of these great guys to get open an make big plays.. Now we all know the Bolts pass to set up run.. you try to put a 8 man front.. and try to man up on these big wideouts.. I expect a lot of scoring by these crew , now the defense. looks more tougher and did make some plays and kept pressure on the QBS. But the biggest asset or what not is turnovers, The Bolts are getting picks and fumbles at a much better rate than the past. I like this defense and if they can make a few stops and get turnovers for this high powered offense then expect a nUmber 1 seed , and home field advantage and a trip to INDY for the SUPERBOWL.. I know . this has been predicted every year, but I see a new attitude due to the new Special teams coach . the New defensive coordinator and the new starters like Bob hard hitting Sanders and No neck Takeo Spikes , and bad ass tough runners Mike Tolbert and Ryan Mathews, and lets not forget last year Rivers threw for over 4700 YDS TO 17 DIFFERENT RECEIVERS.. NO GATES , NO JACKSON , NO FLOYD , most of the season..Now Imagine with all these playmakers??? Now the key is to stay healthy , get off to fast start and cut down on turnovers and I see the Bolts reclaiming the AFC WEST and earning No1 seed in playoff tournament.. But I know it's only the preseason, but just by looking at first teams playing against first teams , you can tell which teams had practise sessions during the lockout and which players put in the extra work on the off season,.. So far, I like what I see and I'm looking forward to the regular season on 9/11/ 11 AGAINST THE Minnesota Vikings.. I see a high scoring affair with the Bolts winning or outlasting the Vikings at the end.. 45- 31.. well take care and lets get ready for some awesome football this year.. NFL - NEW FOOTBALL LEAGUE...2011
oK, Face book and football fans,, My perspective on the NFL - NEW FOOTBALL LEAGUE...
First off, I'm so tired of the politically correct things to say,, That's why I love Coach Ryan of the Jets, sure he talks alot of smack, But give credit where credit is due, This team beat the Mighty Patriots Last year and the Chargers the other years,. Pretty good since in my opinion they have a College level quarterback and I'm a big USC Trojan fan and Mark Sanchez, but lets get real, he's still learning the pro game and he still needs seasoning , its a good thing The Jets are full of veterans that know how to motivate themselves and take care of the football.. Yes, I'm talking about the future Hall of Famer LT. Because of his ball skills and pass protection abilities he is keeping Greene from assuming the full time running back duties.. Enough of that , I like his trash talk,.. I mean what is suppose to say , we are second best team , My team is not the best,... I want my Coach to say this is the best team ever every where , regardless of the reality.. Teams / Players need motivation..
The New Kick off rule sucks.. Why? You are taking probably one of the most exciting plays in football. I feel for Devin Hester, Joshua Cribbs, and whoever runs it back for the Chargers , because they are getting denied game changing plays.. I know safety concerns,, well if so might as well make it flag football, it's almost there with the amount of penalties ( yellow flags) you see, You make a monster hit , not only do you get penalized , but you get ridiculous fines ,, $ 10,000 and up.. Now where is this money going ? I'm just saying.. ?
The scoring review after each score.. Come on now, do we really need to go there, if its a clear cut touch down , why waste time,. Now if its close than go for it.. In my humble opinion it interferes with momentum and takes away home field advantage , because crowds get held back , it takes away the electricity in the stadiums.. But the NFL wants to make the game so artificial and sterile , with all the rules , fines and mumbo jumbo they dictate. Its not the same game many years ago, where players hit hard and talk tough, Now any signs of bravado gets shot down,... Sure we are in new age , but when it comes to sports ,.Its still the ego , testosterone sport that requires tremendous courage , emotion , skills and mental fortitude.. But what do you expect from pencil pushing tie wearing suits that make rules about something they have no clue about.
Last but not least , the Brady rule sucks,, that's the rule that even if you fall into a QB , and your on your knees , that's a penalty.. Come on,. now, if a pass rusher gets knocked to the ground and is crawling to get up and the blocker pushes or knocks him into the QB, whats the pass rusher to do.. Simple his job is to knock the Qb on his ass, and if he gets injured , so be it.. I know it sounds barbaric and cruel, but its the nature of the game.. Thats why you hire big nasty blockers that do anything to keep big nasty Pass rushers of their Leader. But THE NEW FOOTBALL LEAGUE feels we need to protect our investment.. Oh well, Lets see how this rules play out this year , But when they see lack of scoring and excitement they may re - examine the kick off rule. They should re consider the fines , and the Brady rule,, The Sport has become sissy - flag football with pads.. Its bad enough having that Arena football , that's flag football with pads.. What a joke..?

How Come Women do this? Inspired by women..
ok, now what? I've been aroud the world and seen all kinds of girls, women. What Not? But it seems no matter where I go,, I see women of any culture , financial status or what not do the things I'm about to mention.
First off, Ladies,, if your wearing a short Mini skirt , or a tight dress or what,, Why do you insist on pulling or tugging at it trying to make it longer or cover your privates. It looks silly and come on man.. If your suddenly feeling modest about your appearance I think its too late to do that in streets or clubs with many guys , like me watching., I mean I get a good laugh when girls do that because it makes no sense.. But people next time a women or young girl is walking around and feels that men are looking at her , watch her pull or try to pull a skirt that is unable to get longer.. lol..
Next, Why do some especially sexy women check their legs , like their stockings have holes or its stretched out and torn.. But the problem is.. Girls your not wearing any stockings , but I see all the time. Women checking out their legs or what especially if men are watching.. I mean I'm not complaining I think that is very sexy.. But why ? Attention ,seduction, ??

Finally , I would like to say , that I love women , I love talking to them , watching them perform and of course being with them.. I don't understand their mannerisms with skirts , or checking out themselves , but I must admit I like it , whatever they do and most men love when women do their things.. Like wink , smile alot , or talk alot, or look at themselves in the mirror at stores and such. Men cant help it , we love how women carry themselves and I'm sure women love the attention they get.. ok, now what? I've been aroud the world and seen all kinds of girls, women. What Not? But it seems no matter where I go,, I see women of any culture , financial status or what not do the things I'm about to mention.
First off, Ladies,, if your wearing a short Mini skirt , or a tight dress or what,, Why do you insist on pulling or tugging at it trying to make it longer or cover your privates. It looks silly and come on man.. If your suddenly feeling modest about your appearance I think its too late to do that in streets or clubs with many guys , like me watching., I mean I get a good laugh when girls do that because it makes no sense.. But people next time a women or young girl is walking around and feels that men are looking at her , watch her pull or try to pull a skirt that is unable to get longer.. lol..
Next, Why do some especially sexy women check their legs , like their stockings have holes or its stretched out and torn.. But the problem is.. Girls your not wearing any stockings , but I see all the time. Women checking out their legs or what especially if men are watching.. I mean I'm not complaining I think that is very sexy.. But why ? Attention ,seduction, ??

Ok,, If you have lived in Sun Diego , Fun Diego , San Dogg, you all know we don't have alot of big industries OR big business, we don't have movie studios , or factories , or Computer places .. Lets face it.. We are a tourist place , Sea World, Leggoland, The Beaches , The Parks, The Midway Aircraft Museum or balboa Park expositions, the Air show.. the Sky show,. Comic Convention.. The Chargers.
So, whats the best way to get money or finances for a stadium. Its so simple it's been right in front of our eyes? The Tourist attractions , the restaurant's.,,. Yes, Add a 1% percent tax on restaurant's, rentals , tourist spots attractions.. Why not.. ? How many of you when you go on vacation.. do you really look at sales tax , or how much you spend. For me. I don't care about that stuff. when I go on vacation I enjoy my time, and pay the bill. So why not tax the tourist, we have no other opportunities to raise money , we don't have big businesses or factories , or what. Our biggest money maker is the tourist who go to the tourist traps and pay those high prices..
DEAR San Diegans, especially the reghistered voters,,, when the vote is brought up next year, if you really want a stadium and want San Diego to be a player for future Super bowls and other events , concerts , conventions, etc.. We need to approve this deal and get the Chargers and the city of san Diego a fantastic and modern Sports / Convention Center. This stadium will be used by the Chargers , the San Diego State Aztecs, high school championships,Music concerts , Business coneventions and parties, and of course the big money maker THE SUPER BOWL.. that event alone or that week , the amount is in the 100's of million dollars , to restaurant's, hotels, motels, attractions,. museum's.. Etc..
One Superbowl , could pay half of the expenses and multiple ones will increase the money flow in San Diego.. So ,, My fellow San Diegans , Lets approve this tax, and get ready for some new opportunities for San Diego.. or otherwise known as " AMERICAS FINEST CITY!".. take care until my next sports story .. Perception is reality.. inspired by life ...
Perception is reality...Inspired by my facebook friends..
Ok,, we all know that how people perceive us, lives longer than what reality is? Am i right, for example , if your good with computers -- your labeled or stereotyped into "geek" , but reality sometimes shows that just because you are a geek , that doesn't mean you cant party or dress cool. But perception is so strong in today's world.. People cant help it,. they love to stereotype.. You dress a certain way,, then your considered that stereotype.. Hey he dressed like a surfer, or she dresses like a ho.. regardless if you even do those activities.. For me,. I dress whatever makes me comfortable. some say its laid back , hip hop style , others call it sloppy ,, others may call it gangster. .. too black.. to ethnic,, whatever.. perception is a killer , once you are labeled ,, its a tough to shake it.. Like first impressions. I know and you all know it should mean alot,. But we all do it. If someone we meet, just rubs us the wrong way, wam boom bam.. that guy or gal,, is not cool,. no matter how cool or friendly that person is , from that day on,. because of that first impression.,. your impression or perception of that person is ingrained in your head..Thats why they teach you , first impression , is important , for job interviews, first dates,, try outs.. etc... That first whatever is your audition,, and alot of us. dont do well , because lets face it. we arte human ,. they are good days and some bad days, and depending how someone meets you ,,that will define who you are to them.. perception is so hard to shake.. But then again.. peception is what gets you where your supposed to be. For me,, I'm a moody guy , who is laid back and at times , may send off a childish , playful attitude.. not good if your a supervisor or leader ,, People or the establishment doesnt trust you , dont like you and often times mistreats you because you dont follow the company line.. Then when you get pissed off they dont get it.. Once again perception rules over reality. In todays world.. what people percieve you , out ranks what your friends or loved ones see you ,, or even out scores what you think of yourself.. Lesson.. Be careful how you act , or talk , and what you post on any media.. people read things and often times , take it as reality, as real , as the way you feel.. Even though , every moment is different how i feel or write about something now can change tomorrow,, but once that impression or written word is down.. It's there forever.. !! But for me.. I don't care what people think of me. or if i say or do offends., I'm, human we all have feelings and the faster people realize , that humans need to be human and communications , of all venues,, anger , happiness , sadness , all gives us the feelings of life.. I like to live life and not be afraid.. trying to please others , doesn't always work.. Be yourself, and take things as they are and also realize,, life , like our feelings are often misunderstood and uncontrollable.. Perception is reality and vice versa.. Learn to accept it.. or not? What we hate !! INSPIRED BY MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS...AUG 2011..
What we hate!! inspired by my face book friends .Aug 2011..
Ok,, What am I talking about ? Simple , I've read your comments and rants on my news feeds and other related fb postings and I have come up with the following things my friends hate..
First off , we hate haters,.,. you know the ones, the ones that always make negative comments on other people's postings.. didn't your mother tell you , if you have nothing good to say don't say anything.. lol
Next , we all hate people that drive crazy,, like not signalling , or driving too slow in the fast lanes,, or worse people that tailgate you when their is open lanes all around.. Stop it already.. lol
We also hate whiners , complainers,, I mean . it ok, the occasional rant , but when it gets consistent , guess what your a attention whore,, a pissed off and disgruntled person.. stop it.. Go get a drink or take a walk. or better yet... just leave your thoughts in your mind.. Remember , thoughts placed on the Internet are permanent, They are people , geeks who photograph all postings and keep them secured away for use at a another time.. So be wary what you write.. Also.. if you twitter , that media source is monitored by the federal govt and law enforcement agencies.. so be careful what you tweet,, thats why I no longer use that.. lol
We also hate show offs. Ok.. I'm guilt of that , and I apologize,, but we hate people who pose naked.. or put dance routines that have.. lets just say.. we've seen it already. get new routines already.. ok, I hear you and I will.. lol
We hate people . that attack or comment on every ones status or updates, or what.. Guys or gals. some post are meant for certain people.. learn how to filter.. lol ,
lastly ,, we hate people that make up rules about what people can say or do,, like me.. who am i to tell you what to write , what i can post or whatever on face book.. Just a word of caution, Internet , facebook is a world wide entity and we have other countries that monitor what we write and post , so they can make up summaries or what about the people of America.. But ,, you know what,.. I don't care what other countries think,, because we are in America.. and many people have fought , including myself as a armed service military personnel , for our freedoms and rights .. But I also know that too much freedom of speech. " loose lips sink ships.. does ring true.. So my facebook friends.. keep entertaining us and speaking your mind,.. but be warned , what you say or post can and will affect how people view.. which summaries my last hate.. we hate people that judge us and make stereotypes about cultures or what.. BOLT REPORT : AUG 12, 2011
THE BOLT REPORT..AUG 12, 2011,,
ok,, The Bolts lost , and the sea hawk back ups are better , barely than the charger back ups.. The standouts.. The crowd was noisy and loud for a preseason game , even the ESPN announcers, Jaworski, Tirico and Chucky ( jon gruden) were impressed and so am I .. We are excited 1 And why not? The Bolts missed the playoffs by one game , and we didn't have Jackson and Mcneil most of the year and we had tremendous turnover , something like 84 players , the highest in NFL history.. Well, the Bolts were in search of receivers and special teamers.
The standout kick returner , receiver Bryan Walters from Cornel,, a intelligent and wes welker type of player, he doesn't fit the typical charger wide out. 6'5 , 220 lbs long legs , long arms.. But he can be that slot guy and running back , wild cat third down guy , plus that 103 yd kick of return was awesome.. We the fans have not seen that in a long time.. Sproles mostly ran punts down for tds.. now,.if Walters can do punt returns,. we need to keep him.. He;'s a gamer and I like his style.. ok,, Lets see what happens..
The next one is Gamble,, the LB, he was awesome, not the biggest or fastest guy , but once again a gamer m with energy,,, we need those types.. we need play makers , stars ,, we have enough consistent good players , we need wild card guys,,
Bob Sanders looks healthy strong and motivated , the same with Takeo Spikes,, , Takeo in japanese means Warrior.. so I like how the defense looks ,, we held back the first teamers of Seattle , but then again Tavaris Jackson is Not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, so the real test is 9 days from now when the BOLTS travel to Texas,.,. to check out the Palace in Dallas.. We will see if those free agent signings and wanna be's show up.. I want Walters on the 1 st team special teams..
Our first team offense was awesome quick score , and Tolbert is a beast and has that nasty dance , and I want to see that alot more times.. Todman the rookie did pretty good,, Mathews,, was not impressive,, he looks like he gained muscle , but his speed and quickness is questionable.. He still has time , but as of now not impressed.
Lastly, The Specal teams coach Rich Bicassia , has emotions and you can see a little more aggressiveness on that part of the team.. Its still early , but the team looks ready to make that run, they have 3 home games in first four games of the year, They need to start fast 3-1 , 4-0.. 2-2 . 1-3,, forget about doing well in the play offs, to much work is needed , to come back ,, it has been the story for the past 7 years since 2004.. We need to start fast,, 4-0, with 12 game remaining,. go.. 10-2 or 8-4 , we will be 14-2 , or 12-4 .. we can do it, 2006 , the Big year we finished 14-2 , LT'S magic year , and we had home field advantage.. but we blew it.. Well .. do that now, we can match the patriots , Jets , steelers , or colts,, or any other AFC team.. or NFC team.. well those are my thoughts.,. and I'm looking forward to the next preseason game , and seeing who makes the team. The Bolts missed the playoffs by one game , and we didn't have Jackson and Mcneil most of the year and we had tremendous turnover , something like 84 players , the highest in NFL history.. Well, the Bolts were in search of receivers and special teamers.
The standout kick returner , receiver Bryan Walters from Cornel,, a intelligent and wes welker type of player, he doesn't fit the typical charger wide out. 6'5 , 220 lbs long legs , long arms.. But he can be that slot guy and running back , wild cat third down guy , plus that 103 yd kick of return was awesome.. We the fans have not seen that in a long time.. Sproles mostly ran punts down for tds.. now,.if Walters can do punt returns,. we need to keep him.. He;'s a gamer and I like his style.. ok,, Lets see what happens..
The next one is Gamble,, the LB, he was awesome, not the biggest or fastest guy , but once again a gamer m with energy,,, we need those types.. we need play makers , stars ,, we have enough consistent good players , we need wild card guys,,
Bob Sanders looks healthy strong and motivated , the same with Takeo Spikes,, , Takeo in japanese means Warrior.. so I like how the defense looks ,, we held back the first teamers of Seattle , but then again Tavaris Jackson is Not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, so the real test is 9 days from now when the BOLTS travel to Texas,.,. to check out the Palace in Dallas.. We will see if those free agent signings and wanna be's show up.. I want Walters on the 1 st team special teams..
Our first team offense was awesome quick score , and Tolbert is a beast and has that nasty dance , and I want to see that alot more times.. Todman the rookie did pretty good,, Mathews,, was not impressive,, he looks like he gained muscle , but his speed and quickness is questionable.. He still has time , but as of now not impressed.
Lastly, The Specal teams coach Rich Bicassia , has emotions and you can see a little more aggressiveness on that part of the team.. Its still early , but the team looks ready to make that run, they have 3 home games in first four games of the year, They need to start fast 3-1 , 4-0.. 2-2 . 1-3,, forget about doing well in the play offs, to much work is needed , to come back ,, it has been the story for the past 7 years since 2004.. We need to start fast,, 4-0, with 12 game remaining,. go.. 10-2 or 8-4 , we will be 14-2 , or 12-4 .. we can do it, 2006 , the Big year we finished 14-2 , LT'S magic year , and we had home field advantage.. but we blew it.. Well .. do that now, we can match the patriots , Jets , steelers , or colts,, or any other AFC team.. or NFC team.. well those are my thoughts.,. and I'm looking forward to the next preseason game , and seeing who makes the team. CHARGER PRIDE 2011..SUPPORT THE SAN DIEGO TREASURE!!
I must say selling out a preseason game , even after all the CBA lockout, and all the bull shit the NFL likes to do to us fans.. The San Diegans came through . Even the LA threat of building a stadium..Guess what what LA, we have heard it since 2002 , Ed Roski,, his deal fell through now this one might have more pull or money. Magic Johnson is a player and he is a successful business man. But I will believe it when I see it.. California ,, and LA especially has too many debt issues, before they can break ground.. A vote , means a vote,,But until I see construction or better yet a completed structure , I feel its bull shit.
History lesson, when the dreaded Raiders came to LA ,, they drew 35,000 at the most , that's why the went back to Oakland. where they sell out every other game.. I don't really think LA council wants to deal with Al davis and those raiders.. They want paying fans,. and the Charger fans have proven year in and out they are loyal and they sell out alot of games.. Despite the threats of moving , blackouts and letting superstars go.... I applaud you charger fans,, I must admit they the Bolts are making moves they normally don't make , but they have too, the young players are not ready and the old players I feel may have a Little bit left.. Whats important is enjoy the games and this year,, Enjoy the moment,. I'm not saying the team is leaving , but Lets not worry about things we cant control.. The owners , the NFL , the money makers will do their deals,.,As fans,Lets make this a fantastic year and cheer this team to the SUPER BOWL.. I know,, every year we are one of the favorites., But I feel the moves and the subtraction's and the chemistry of this years team is gonna be exciting. OK, NFL preseason is around the corner , and the Chargers have 7,000 unsold tickets , and the game is going to be nationally televised on ESPN, EXCEPT FOR SAN DIEGO.. NFL, for goodness sake you guys out us through a CBA lockout and this is how you treat the fans.. Boo on the NFL..
Next, The Tiger woods caddy makes headline Sports news.. Why,? well the player he caddies for, wins a tournament where Tiger finishes 37.. wow. karma ,. or sweet justice.. I mean the caddie from New Zealand was sitting back for two years waiting on Tiger to come back or play , and he asks if he could catch a couple gigs ,Make money while Tiger is waiting.. Well , loyalty is something , but Tiger having someone on hold and not letting them make money , and your not paying him during this time.. Is totally not cool,. in fact your a jerk,, I knew you were one with your ex- and now with your best friend.. No one that's is cool and has common sense , doesn't fire your friend and caddy over the phone.. But what do you expect from a cheating , lying and insecure , loser golfer. Your days as champion is over.. I mean , all your sponsors are Dropping you because you are classless and a clueless former star. Enough said.. Tiger is done...
lastly , Coach Joe Paterno , legendary college coach gets blind sided in practise and breaks his hip.. what the hell? In all my years , of watching and doing live practises , I have never heard or seen anything like that? What a crazy year? I mean it's bad enough that CBA Lockout ended on Walter Paytons birthday .. and the start of the NFL season is 9/11/ 11.. I see a crazy year , where the logical and reasonable predictions go out the door. Quick prediciton : Packers will not win the Superbowl.. they will have a hangover effect like the Saints a couple of years ago.. The Bears and Eagles will face in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME .. THE PATRIOTS AND CHARGERS IN AFC CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYED IN SUNNY SAN DIEGO.. AND THE SUPERBOWL CONTESTANTS.. I will state that on my next sports blog. TAKE CARE .. THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS@ 2011

CHARGER FAN FEST AUG 6.2011
CHARGER FAN FEST AUG 6, 2011.
ok, first off I woke up late and got their kind of late , and went to the wrong gate or line, sorry Marty , No autographs , plus they only handed out 2,000 wristbands.. not cool Chargers bosses.. Oh well I saw alot of energized fans 10,000 plus for a sat practise.. Not bad..
I took a picture of cool truck with charger flags and lights.. and saw a low rider , did not take picture , had time restraints or other appointments with wifey,.
But anyways analysis of practise session..
To be honest boring, no long passes completed and no long runs,, Mathews is strong but not quick or fast enough ,, to break away. I like his aggressiveness , but his decision making or cutting ability needs work. Tolbert is a beast,. hes gonna be hard to tackle.. But didn't get enough touches to see his skills..
The wr's JACKSON , CRAYTON , TUTU looked good,, No gates , that concerns me,. and no Vincent Brown,, Why,, ? Well the Bolt offense is a complex scheme to learn, so Im guessing he's not thoroughly comfortable or the COACHES feel he's not ready. To be honest , I think he's too skinny and not physical enough yet. Anyways I like the Bolts wr corps.. As for the Special teams.. I like Scifres and kaeding is good in practise.. I'm a bit concerned that the Bolts are relying on alot of young , guys to do special teams.. that's what ruined our season last year and that could kill us again this year.
On defense,. I saw no pass rush, and I feel a bit skeptical that these old guys Spikes and sanders will be able to last a season against the strong runners they are going to face this year, Peterson , Charles , Mcfadden , Moreno , Ray rice, but time will tell?
Final analysis - the offense without gates and sproles looks boring and lacks excitement. We better hope Gates is able, that's Rivers safety blanket , with out him , defense will double cover Jackson and Floyd and that leaves Crayton , who is a quick and fast runner , but not physical. The defense , did nit dominate the line of scrimmage and the corners were good , but with no pass rush,, thety will get torched.. The Chargers are hopingh that lady luck and a healthy year from thier starters will get them through , because they gonna need everyone on track playing thier best if they plan to do well in the playoffs.. Expect the Patriots - Steelers , Jets , Colts , Ravens to be there and guess what? The Chargers have not done well with any of those teams , except the Colts, and The Bolts will have to go to cold temps to face those other teams... The best bet , win alot of games , be the No#1 seed and have the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP in sunny San Diego . Anything else could spell the same old story for the Chargers , close but no Superbowl berth. This team is good , in fact better than the 94 Chargers team that made it to the Bowl game.. But lady luck, healthy players and team work is what gonna lead this team to the Superbowl.. Anything is possible , No one except maybe die hard Packer fans thought they would win it all. They got on a hot streak, and had all their star players , healthy at the right time.. and of course played their best football at the end of the season.. This is a copy cat league.. NISSAN 4X4 TRUCK CRACKED WINDSHIELD..AUG 5, 2011
NISSAN 4X4 TRUCK.. CRACKED WINDSHIELD. AUG 4,2011..
What a week , but what a day, I return to work , only to find my windshield has a long crooked crack from the top of the shield half way down the center, and like a dum ass I tap it with my heavy hands and create a longer and more visible crack.. Boy I was pissed. I mean I have had the worst luck with windshields and car windows on navy bases, It is a trend or do i have enemies? Whatever the case , I spent the whole day with papa in south San Diego , and it was tiring, I mean pops likes to talk and talk,, and I wanted to take a nap.. But I'm happy the windshield got replaced , I mean it was faster to replace it then to try to fix a long and crooked crack on a 4x4 truck.. I mean I did take it off roading the other day,, But I didn't notice any cracks , but it probably started as a small one and exploded as the heat it's over 100 degrees in the Temecula valley and I have my air con on all the time.. Lessons learned I guess , But i need to get a rock deflector placed on my hood to help prevent damage in the future, or better yet don't go off roading.. Something always gets broken or scratched when i do that. But for those who have never had their windshields replaced , it's like I have a new truck , my field of vision is alot better and its so much more clear to see. Heck , I've owned my truck for nearly 7 years,, and it was my first damage to the windshield.. My other cars suffered alot more cracks and damage than my truck, but then again My truck has only recently been a daily driver.. Oh well , it's ready for Charger fest tomorrow at THE Q, I cant wash my truck for 24 hours, so my dirty , yet new windshield truck will be displaying the Charger flags and the Charger songs blasting on the stereo.. in the Parking lot.. My wifey is gonna finally going to attend with me and I'm hyped about that.. oh well ,, another drama filled day .. until the next incident take care and be careful driving !! NISSAN 4X4 VS. CHEVY CAMARO ...
NISSAN 4X4 TRUCK VS. CHEVY CAMARO ...
ok, if this was a race no contest, but that's not the point... My point is, I have always liked being original , different , over the top.. And MY 4x4 truck is that. It has bushwacker fender flares which gives it that muscle bulked up look,, I also have wheel guards that look like rings placed over the wheels.. wheel locks are the proper terms.. Plus a Electric blue metallic paint job , with over sized mud tires and all the Nerf bars that make it look tough. Ok. A nissan should be a easy find.. But this truck has special features that grab attention and looks wherever I go.. Now.. this might seem strange but,, I feel the truck has more a mystique and unique look to it , than what I could do to a camaro.. I mean,.. there is a ton of camaro's on the road, and sure they still get the looks, but you cant really change the look too much.. Unlike My truck that ,, not to brag , I have yet to see another one like it.. maybe there is , But I haven't ??? So my point is. I really dig my truck , because its comfortable , its rugged and it can do many more things , like loading , storing , moving stuff , or picking up stuff. It also can go off roading and go speeding which I did earlier today .on the nascar 15.. before I saw chips on the side.. I was traveling 100+ actually racing a Nissan 340x.. and beating it , until we both saw the fuzz.. lucky me.. or I spotted the cop just in time.. But Like i said, the truck can look good, be practical , and also be sporty and go fast//.. The Camaro,, can look good, go fast , but has a small truck and bad sight lines.. It also is very tight or small leg room in the back.. But who buys the camaro for the back seats.. ? right.. speed .,. and looks.. over practical and comfort. So , for now the winner is Nissan 4X4 TRUCK over Chevy Camaro,.,.The truck can take me to the beach , go sand riding , or to the mountains and go off roading , or snow plowing .. The truck can move stuff. like bikes, surf boards.. The camaro,, can move two people and couple of small bags in the back.. ok.. The Camaro has that wow factor.. But what can you do after that.. ?? Cant really carry alot of things including people.. You cant really speed, cops are looking for muscle cars these days.I know the Camaro is so cool looking.. Ok,. I will give you that. and to be honest I still plan on getting one.. But for overall use and practicality My Truck wins.. and I love using it...But don't let me sway your thought, test drive both and you decide.. I own the truck and I have test driven the Chevy camaro,, The ride and speed of the camaro is awesome.. So , for now the winner is Nissan 4X4 TRUCK over Chevy Camaro,.,.The truck can take me to the beach , go sand riding , or to the mountains and go off roading , or snow plowing .. The truck can move stuff. like bikes, surf boards.. The camaro,, can move two people and couple of small bags in the back.. ok.. The Camaro has that wow factor.. But what can you do after that.. ?? Cant really carry alot of things including people.. You cant really speed, cops are looking for muscle cars these days.I know the Camaro is so cool looking.. Ok,. I will give you that. and to be honest I still plan on getting one.. But for overall use and practicality My Truck wins.. and I love using it...But don't let me sway your thought, test drive both and you decide.. I own the truck and I have test driven the Chevy camaro,, The ride and speed of the camaro is awesome.. FIRE FIGHTING SCHOOL SAN DIEGO AUG 2011..
ok, today was my turn to go to fire fighting school, it been what ? 18 years since my last fire fighting school. So I was excited not!! i mean , it was a hot and humid day , and fighting fires in a enclosed space with people or equipment I'm not familiar with , was a bit .. scary.. But hey I'm a fighter from South San Diego , proud alumni of the Mayans and Aztecs of Montgomery and a proud and loud old school guy.. So off it went. of course I told everyone I was the eldest and I got in the back the whole day.. Guess what.. ? It didn't matter , it seemed the instructor , Filipino's made sure I was in there the longest and while the fire was at its hottest,., Lucky me..? And of course being the last one,. I had to bring that damn hose up and down the ladder . what a thing to do to a freaking senior citizen.. ? oh well, the best part comes later, I'm tired , dehydrated and sleepy and while I return to my hot , dirty ship , at training I'm told I have a 12 hour watch , right before I go to Haz mat school,. Geez I was pissed and I let people know.. Oh well, it worked out one of my duty sect partners too the rest of the watch,, and I was able to take a much needed shower and sleep a bit before class in the morning, But guess what , yes, the directions were the wrong ones for the wrong class. so I was directed to another class, and guess what,, it was like a maze to finally get to my class.. You couldn't go into certain doors and of course everything was difficult to do. But finally I get to class and i find out the class is a video conferencing ,, I dont really like those.. But that's where I am, right now,., What a day huh? Only me , couold have such drama , and action in my life.. But I 'll say this. despite all the hardships. I still enjoyed myself..
