Oakland Raiders- We suck! Inspired by Charles Woodson..
The Oakland raiders fired their 11th Coach since the Jon Gruden Era.. That's pathetic , Coaches last less than 2 years,, C'mon Guys,, How can any team win or have any consistency in winning.. Simple you cant win,, that's why they are the worst team in the NFL in the past ten years and counting.. Yes,, They have won 3 SUPERBOWLS,, but that was then and this now.. We are a society of what have you doe lately.. and lately the raiders have been horrible.. Defense , offense special teams.. YOU SPEND MONEY on old aging superstars ,, but guess what , you get what you pay for.. players with names , but no more milegage in their legs or hearts.. Its has become a refuge for old superstars to come and get paid and play out their careers.. As for the youngsters,, they don't have the desire to play hard because ,, the coach they are playing for is gone the following year and a new play book to learn, philosophy,, etc,, if anything it gets old,, players really don't care about one another,,
Example the young stud,, Derrick Carr.. gets hurt, not one offensive line man, helps him off the field, why? Selfish , self centered , no team work ethic. The raiders have talented players , but no direction , no leadership , and no desire.. no vision.. its starts at the top and unfortunately they don't know what to do and when to do it? Why do you fire a coach when all other coaches cant talk to you because they are working? Makes no sense? But that's the raiders history?? Now think about this,, what great coach or any coach would want to be a raider coach , where there is no job security and a bunch of players throwing each other under the bus?? I say there is always one idiot, but don't expect the prideful Jon Gruden to accept a job where they fired him after winning seasons?? Its not going to happen,, and dream on fnding a superstar coach to take that job? Sorry too many years of losing and firing coaches when they don't have the players to make it happen. Asking to turn around a team in one or two years after years of losing,, The owner Mark Davis is delusional to think that.Sorry raiders,, The team needs a complete overhaul , coaching and players and that's going to take many drafts and many personnel changes that will take at least 4 years.. The team is in trouble, the team is in disarray and the the leaders of the raiders are abandoning ship.. 0-4 and they haven't played their divisional rivals Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs , that's 6 games , and lets not forget the NFC WEST team.. Seahawks, 49ers , Cardinals and Rams.. Now can they beat any of those teams? Maybe the rams ,, but everyone else has star quarterbacks and quality defenses.. The raiders have no coach , no play makers and a injured QB squad.. Not looking good as of now,, But this id the NFL , the NO FIGURE LEAGUE, but I wouldn't bet any the raiders winning too many games and don't be surprised if they go 0-16.. Parity exists , but the raiders are making dumb decisions now , fire a coach they should of done in the off season, so they could hire a quality candidate,, Now they will probably hire Al Saunder's the Sr offensive coordinator .. and be more of a caretaker, baby sitter until the end of the season, when the raiders will shell out tons of money for a superstar coach? college or Pros; but Good luck on that.. If i was a coach. The Raider job is not favorable,, sure its a NFL gig,, but the raider job is a merry go around of hire and fire,.. But that's the raiders , they are clueless and reckless in their moves.. To me..The firing of the beloved Jon Gruden,, and Grudens revenge the following year started the raider curse.. They have fumbled and bumbled their way to the worst records in RAIDER HISTORY.. THE MANTRA ' COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE HAS BECOME A COMMITMENT TO LOSING.. LOSING GAMES, LOSING COACHES, LOSING FAN LOYALTY.NT TO EXCELLENCE " HAS . How can you support a team that every year, makes the same old mistakes and then blame the coach.. The players need accountability , but the owners of the raiders are impatient , out dated and have no clue how to run a winning organization.. The times have changed ,, and like the raider uniforms . they are gloomy , outdated and no longer in style. They may look mean and intimidating , but their actions dictate another image,, a image of over hyped, arrogant , self centered , no team work mentality.. Its the little things that have destroyed this once great team.. And now firing a coach after 4 games ,, its ridiculous,, and to do it over the phone , is classless, gutless and clueless, they have no respect for people and good luck hiring a quality coach .. Because based on the history of the raiders,, NO coach wants to go to a team with that kind of job security and with players that's publicly disrespect's the organization and its team members.. The Raiders have no identity , they have no leaders and have no team players.. and because of that .. They will struggle all year long and if they win one or two.. They will have to play a great game,, with team work. something we haven't seen so far.. Football is 60 minutes , not 55 or 59 minutes,, you have to play the full sixty and make clutch plays when needed. The raiders have not done it and based on whats going on right now.. I see alot more blow outs and players that are really the misfit's and cat offs , these team gets from the whole league.. The fans call their place the Black hole... how appropriate? They have become a place where aging veteran's go to get that final pay check and young players go to get big contracts , but don't give full efforts.. Its a sad truth , but the truth hurts,,, as Charles Woodson said " We suck!" But theirs a bye week coming and a new coach and sunny San Diego to look forward to... But I see a blow out and a embarrassing effort by the Raiders,, because they have no desire , no vision , no leaders and no identity.. then the rest of season to deal with.. Broncos twice , cheifs twice , seahawks, cardinals , 49ers , rams and chargers again.. but we all know the NFL means ' NO FIGURE LEAGUE, NO FUN LEAGUE , NOT FOR LONG ,, ETC.. and the Oakland raiders are exemplifying all those examples.. but for the loyal fans.. I give you credit , because rooting for a team that yearly disappoints , and teases you with success , then ultimately quits every year , is not only heartbreaking , but hurtful .. But hope is coming.. there is only 12 games left and then they the raiders can find a coach and do a house cleaning of players , and image and see what happens , but for now.. I would expect too much and if they can win four games that would be a magic trick , because as I see it.. 1-15, 2-14 IS MORE POSSIBLE THAT 12-4 , 11-5 , OR 8-8.. but stranger things have happened, But I wouldn't bet on it.. Until my next blog.. Keep the faith,, and Lets see if Jon gruden takes the job,, because hes the only one that can DO IT right now.. and if that happens.. Look out AFC WEST.. CHUCKY will bring the excellence back to the Raiders.. I would bet on that!!!

THURSDAY NIGHT
GIANTS AT REDSKINS- The Kirk cousins show is coming and I like how the redskins are reacting or responding to cousins.. The defense may be the issue , but the skins will score enough against the inconsistent giants. Eli is struggling and the skins are playing well. I see a easy win at home.
SUNDAY
PACKERS AT BEARS-The Packers fans are restless, the Packers are a team in trouble ,, as far as the defense,, They have the offense,, but on the road,, they will struggle and the Bears are playing winning football,, Cutler is doing enough to keep his team in range to win .. I see a steady and easy win at home.
BILLS AT TEXANS-The bills were exposed as a team that struggles with the passing attack.. on the road against a tough defense is not great news for the Bills. The Texans are playing better and should win easily at home,, Look for a strong defensive efforts by each team. But Texans will win with solid running game and error free football.
TITANS AT COLTS-The Colts got their mojo back , bad news for the Titans.. I see Andrew Luck treating the home crowd to a scoring fest. Colts win easily at home!
PANTHERS AT RAVENS- Welcome the Panthers to a tough place to play , Steve Smith will destroy the panthers, physically and mentally. The Panthers looked horrible last week and Cam Newton looked shell shocked. The ravens are one of the better teams in the AFC and they will handle the Panthers easily at home!
LIONS AT JETS- Megatron is coming , and the Jets are vulnerable, but the issue is the jets quarterback play, Geno Smith is good but makes too many mistakes that have cost them games this year. But He will do enough for my upset special and slow down the Lions and get that much needed win for the New York fans.
BUCCANEERS AT STEELERS- The Steeler identity is coming back,. and they will have a great and solid game against the dreadful buccaneer's. I thought earlier in the season the Bucs might be something this year,, but like the Raiders , have fallen fast and quick.. They will play better than last week but dont have enough to hold off the mighty steelers..
DOLPHINS AT RAIDERS - AT LONDON '- Both teams are eager to get back into the win column.. The raiders had a great game against the Patriots.. but still found a way to lose.. Its hard to pick them . despite the great play of Derrcik Carr, he just doenst have reliable play makers, and the Dolphins is starting the magic quarterback in Tannehill, It will be battle of similar teams , but I see the fins winning with solid running and a sound passing attack. Dolphins will win by a TD LATE IN THE GAME..
JAGUARS AT CHARGERS- Unless the Chargers miss the team bus, I dont see them losing this game.. The Jags are dreadful one of the worst teams in the league,, They plan to start a rookie quarterback Boryles and he will find out early and often, its gonna be tough to play against a contending team at home , in a loud stadium.. I see blow out .. Look for the Chargers to try out Brandon Oliver and Ladarius green and Inman at starter positions.. This is a great time to rest the stars like gates, allen , and or even royal , too see what the others can do.. Look for a strong defense and Rivers having a big day ..
FALCONS AT VIKINGS - The Vikings are in trouble.. The falcons have found their groove and they will score early often and late.. Maybe not another 56 point performance but a easy win with big plays by their playmakers , jones and hester. and of course Matt Ryan!!
EAGLES AT 49ERS- The eagles are for real. The offense is playing lights out. The Niners are playing dreadful,, and I don't see that changing this week. In a shoot out , The eagles win,, a close defensive game I like the Niners,, but I see the eagles,, scoring early and often en route to a easy win on the road,,
SUNDAY NIGHT
SAINTS AT COWBOYS- The saints and Drew Brees have a great offense,, the big issue is the defense,, on the road saints struggle,, and the boys have found the formula for winning,, running game and control the game clock.. in other words.. more Murray and less romo,,, and for now that's how they will win.. Brees will have his usual Numbers , but that saints defense will struggle again against a strong running and passing game.. easy home win for the Cowboys..
MONDAY NIGHT
PATRIOTS AT CHIEFS - My upset special for the week.. Tom Brady is great , but the line isn't and his receivers are not stepping up.. The defense is playing well. but in a noisy arena and that strong offense the chiefs have.. The patriots just dont have the offensive weapons and offensive line to hold off the Chiefs defense and because of that I see the Chiefs playing a tough , solid game and get a relatively easy win at home. Brady will be sacked and bothered all night long..

1. CINCINNATI BENGALS.3-0- Andy Dalton is playing winning and smart football. The Bengals defense is possibly the best in the league and they are the most balanced team in the NFL. Now lets see how they do the rest of season.. Injuries could be there downfall like any other team. But based on their playing level and intensity I see them as the best team in the NFL.
2. ARIZONA CARDINALS 3-0-Drew Stanton has been a pleasant surprise and they are playing hard nosed defense and the offense is balanced.. They beat the Chargers in a tight played game and have been rolling since.. Solid running game and passing game , with that solid defense they could be the NFC Champions when its all said and done!!
3.PHILADELPHIA EAGLES 3-0- The eagles have the best offense in the league , but that defense is questionable,, but they are winning and that's what counts.. But continuous comebacks will come back to haunt them. They need to start better and play better defense, but for now they are a elite team that is finding ways to win..
4. SAN DIEGO CHARGER 2-1- The Chargers should be 3-0 , but they are playing lights out defense and awesome offensive play, despite losing two of their starting running backs,. Rivers and company kept the show going .. But the running game needs tweaking. I see more throwing and short passed to get the yards the running game is not producing... Great start , they have a little break in the schedule , playing the Jags , Jets , Raiders , in the coming weeks , but they need to stay focused and make this a true contending season.
5. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 2-1 - The sea hawks are playing well, especially on offense , the defense is not as good as last year , but I see them getting better. The key is the running game..as long a they can run and pass a little , the defense will get better and provide opportunities for the offense.

BRONCOS VS SEAHAWKS,. BEST GAME OF THE YEAR. DRAMA AT THE END.. AND FANTASTIC FINISH IN OT.. SUPERBOWL REMATCH,, ITS VERY POSSIBLE!!
CHARGERS VS CARDINALS - Two similar teams that find ways to win,,, this could be the least match up because of the histories of both teams , but could be the most evenly matched SUPERBOWL..
CHARGERS AT SEAHAWKS-- THE HAWKS were actually dominated in this game and their one td run was not accurate harvin stepped out , but no matter.. This could be a classic top offense vs, top defense if it happens,..
BENGALS VS EAGLES - could be the highest scoring SUPERBOWL. because both teams can score.. Bengals have the better defense , and I say would win it , but it would be a fun game..
what do you think? Its still early and its still too early predict such things , but just based on 3 weeks of play .. This is what I see.. Now injuries , scheduling and slumps could and will take place,, its the team that has the best depth and chemistry , that will prevail.. Based on what I see ,, The Cardinals and seahawks of the NFC are my favorites and the Broncos ,, and Chargers are my pick , but time will tell !! I like what I see and I''m ready for week four.. It doesn't matter what the media , fans , critics think.. Bottom line, its the team that truly believes in one another an play together is the team that will find the Lombardi trophy in their hands.. and these five teams as of now are best suited to reach that goal.. Let the games begin!! WEEK FOUR ..!!

MARTYS BLOG 3 - I'M SO PROUD OF MY SON MARTY!!
MARTY'S BLOG 3 - I'M SO PROUD OF MY SON MARTY !!
My son Marty is a fighter , at birth he developed a lung infection and nearly died , but I prayed and told him to fight. While I left Japan via helo to Okinawa for life saving treatment. My son got better in a record 10 days.. I brought him back to his mama who nearly bleed to death at birth.. Yes.. It was and still one of the most stressful times of my life. But my prayers and faith and desire, helped me get my family back together.
Now years later. My son. has overcome his physical ailments,, asthma. and near death ,, to become to my great surprise,, a Star running back for Elsinore Valley Wild Tigers.. He has been spectacular in scrimmages and regular games.. Counting his scrimmages and regular games he has double digit totals in touchdowns, and has many receptions and yards as a receiver and punt and kick returner.. But whats so amazing, is that he remains humble and calm.. unlike me.. I'm a loud and proud parent and I let everyone know that's my son running for TD.S,, yeah.. I'm over the top,. but if I can scream for a NFL TEAM WITH NO connections.. Why not for my flesh and blood.. Believe it or not I'm just as tired and worn out as my son.. Because I'm yelling , screaming and running , jumping and talking the hits he going through... But its my baby boy, he's my football watching partner,, we watch , we analyze , we play catch and practise hand offs all day long.. Its a great bond I have my son and I love him very much.. When he is happy I'm very happy , when he loses a game and cries I cry with him.. Its that important to him.. Its important for him to play in front of me and I want to support him.. its a great experience ,, I'm not sure if he plans to play high school , college or pros I WISH.. BUT I'M going to give him all the support he can handle.. Whats neat,, is when he had a monster game against Carlsbad ... and watching and hearing the parents of the Wild Tigers ,, cheer for my son.. That's was wonderful.. and it has been since then.. My son Marty gives it his all and wants his teams to do the same.. I truly admire my son for that.. As the season progresses and I continue to cheer him on and post his ridiculous runs on face book. I will always enjoy the times I'm spending with my son.. Because our kids grow up and to have him still like hanging out with papa is a great feeling.. I know girls,, peers and other life events will take over and I'm ready for that phase too. But for now,, My baby boy is providing great joy to myself and his friends and parents of the Elsinore Valley Wild Tigers!! It has been fun.. and I'm looking forward to the rest of the ride.. As of now.. Its full speed ahead and hold on.. Because he's having the time of his life and I'm with him supporting his wishes.. I never thought he would be as great as he is,, I mean.. I had a checkered Football career and I'm living through him.. What i didn't d with my football life.. I'm seeing it being done beyond my wildest dreams.. Keep going Marty.. I love you son.. and Lets make this a season to remember!! Enjoy life everyone and until the next Marty blog.. Take care !!

When he is happy I'm very happy , when he loses a game and cries I cry with him.. Its that important to him.. Its important for him to play in front of me and I want to support him.. its a great experience ,, I'm not sure if he plans to play high school , college or pros I WISH.. BUT I'M going to give him all the support he can handle.. Whats neat,, is when he had a monster game against Carlsbad ... and watching and hearing the parents of the Wild Tigers ,, cheer for my son.. That's was wonderful.. and it has been since then.. My son Marty gives it his all and wants his teams to do the same.. I truly admire my son for that.. As the season progresses and I continue to cheer him on and post his ridiculous runs on face book. I will always enjoy the times I'm spending with my son.. Because our kids grow up and to have him still like hanging out with papa is a great feeling.. I know girls,, peers and other life events will take over and I'm ready for that phase too. But for now,, My baby boy is providing great joy to myself and his friends and parents of the Elsinore Valley Wild Tigers!! It has been fun.. and I'm looking forward to the rest of the ride.. As of now.. Its full speed ahead and hold on.. Because he's having the time of his life and I'm with him supporting his wishes.. I never thought he would be as great as he is,, I mean.. I had a checkered Football career and I'm living through him.. What i didn't d with my football life.. I'm seeing it being done beyond my wildest dreams.. Keep going Marty.. CHARGERS ANALYSIS - BILLS GAME..SEPT 22,2014
Danny woodhead injury will hurt the chargers passing and running attack, plus his attitude Will Be sorely missed. But this is the NFL .. and next man up is the mantra.. But Donald Brown gaining 62 yards on 31 carries is pitiful to say the least.. admirable , but not going to make you a championship team and waiting on Ryan Mathew's to get better is still weeks away,,, Now Brandon Oliver is a nice addition but he's no Darren Sproles,, or at least he hasn't shown us,,,, The Bolts need a power runner and need to find one very soon.. another62-80 yard performance on 30 + carries is not the formula for winning.
Now Rivers, I think Rivers is playing the best football ever.. and we have seen some great and bad football from Rivers this year he seems to be more focused ,, more disclipined and more accurate than ever.. Peyton like,, except., he's winning those close games and his defense has stepped it up,, off to 2-1 start and could of been 3-0 if the receivers had better days..
The defense has been the X-factor,, when they needed to play great defense to save games they have done it.. holding 3 team below 21 pts home and road games,, is impressive,, that's why the Bolts are considered one the elites in the power ranking this year.. They are playing NFC STYLE defense,, like the seahawks, like the niners or panthers.. The Chargers are up there with the Bengals and Broncos as elite teams... and we have done well with both those teams in the past year.
My take.. I like Coach McCoy.. but I see Marty like tendencies,, like being too conservative when you have a lead.. My take.. Score , score and score some more , football is a mental state game.. take a away a team will, they will not challenge you,, make them think its a fight for their life when they play you,,I saw too many 3 and outs by the chargers in the second half.. I know let the defense control the game..
The Chargers best defense is the offense holding the ball for 40 minutes a game.. The Chargers had it for 31 minutes ,, to 29.. Though the outcome was never in doubt.. I want to to see better running and better red zone scores.. Against the elites you have to score tds to beat them especially on the road..
Suggestions;
We need to look and find a good strong power runner, we also need to get Allen the ball more and use Green as tight ends.. and I like using blocking tight ends as full backs.. to help the running game.. and lets see some more down field throws to open up both the running and short passing game..
Lets finish strong and score more often.. Our offense took a blow last week , but I want to see more oliver and more allen in the mix.. The defense is playing well. but too many dropped picks that could of sealed the game..
My grade for the Chargers is a B+ . GREAT control of the clock, great protection for Rivers and good pass rush on defense, still need work on getting more sacks,, and making picks, but that's the whole idea of playing a full season..You have to play consistent , and win.. as well as keep the core star makers healthy.. The Bolts are playing championship football but losing two key players in back to back season.. just makes you wonder if the Charger Curse is waking up.. The bOlts can win if they 1 st stringers stay healthy,, if not I see a 9-7 ,8-8 record loomimg,, But if they can stay healthy and get off to a great start,, so far so good..I can see a 10-6,11- record happening.. The Chargers have the formulas for success and a great coaching staff. Now its up to the players to play to thier potential and make it happen!!

Martys blog 2 - Martys Revenge !
My son Marty is a humble , sweet almost geeky , nerdy boy in person. He doesn't look the part of a Star Running back! He's not Cocky or even a show off. But when he gets ready for the game. He puts on his game face , becomes angry and boy did he show me and the many parents watching that Saturday night in Carlsbad Ca.. He ran fro amazing 225 yards on 10 carries and had three long TD runs of 75 , 55 , and 35 yards .. He was also a shut down safety .. He had a game of the ages and I was so impressed. But what impresses me the most is how he handles himself.. He carries himself properly and with honor.. So much like his mama. because when I was playing ball or still do.. I'm a trash talking , in your face intimidatory that loves to rub it in.. But that night was so special because my son last year at the Thunder league ,, My son had 10 carries for 225 yards total the whole season.. and no tds. He was a 3rd string running back when he should of been the starter.. But wow.. what a difference a year makes.. I changed leagues , and found a great Coach .. Like Coach Ron Harris, who has given my boy a chance to show his stuff and after 2 games has a stats total of 22 carries 325 yards , 3 tds,, one called back , and one interception as a safety. He has been a big surprise to the Team Parents and his team mates.. I knew my son had some skills, but I never thought he would show me,,, High school type skills with great speed and agility. Not only is he fast , but has the drive and determination to break tackles and is very hard to take down.. he knows when to take what the defense gives you and knows when to take off and run for house.. Whats special is his LADANIAN TOMLINSON.. TD CELEBRATION.. THE SALUTE WITH THE BALL AND LET GO!! I'm so proud of my son.. as you all can tell with all the Face book postings of my sons.. td runs and celebrations.. I'm happy for him ,, because for one long year he was held back. But watching him explode last Saturdays night was special,, and I'm looking forward to a season long year of wins and celebrations. I'm a New fan of the ELSINORE WILD TIGERS . 1-1 , a we speak and have a Saturday game against Oceanside Mighty Mites.. I'm looking forward in being the loudest and proudest parent. If anything ,, I'm happy if he gets his 10 - 12 chances to run or catch the ball. It may be alot, but what he does with those touches is impressive,, and then turn around and play defense , as strong safety .. and play on the special teams.. He's tireless and fearless and impressive.. I'm happy the years of working out with him with sit ups and push ups has developed a strong , quick and agile athlete with fierce determination.. Marty's revenge was running wild against a team that had no chance and for the other teams in the San Diego and temecula areas.. Paras # 21 is what the defenders look at as my son runs past them.. I want to pay tribute to my son,, and pray that he continues to be strong and healthy and provide the Elsinore Valley Wild Tigers years of winning and joyful moments!! Not only has my son made me a believer in his team and his talents , but I'm now one of their greatest fans and supporter!! LET THE GAMES BEGIN AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER WIN AND GREAT TEAM EFFORTS.. SPECIAL MENTION TO # 27 Andy Martinez scores on a long pass catch of 65 yards ,, and T putt a short run for a TD... during the game.. Great efforts and great team win.. REDSKINS AT EAGLES-No RGIII and it might not be a big problem... But the eagles are playing the best 30 minutes of football in the NFL. they are unstoppable in the 2nd half.. Darren sproles and McCoy is a unfair pair !!
TEXANS AT GIANTS-The Texans are suddenly good again and playing the lowly Giants is treat for the Texans .. Eli is a turnover machine in this so called new offense.. I see Texans winning easily on the road..
VIKINGS AT SAINTS- The saints are the best 0-2 team in the NFL. one play keeps them from being 2-0 , no problem here,, The Vikes are in trouble and the Saints will be ready to roll I see Drew Brees light up the scoreboard,,, No contest!!
TITANS AT BENGALS- The Bengals are the best defense in the league and they are playing so.. Andy Dalton and AJ green are going to have big day and the defense will hold down the Titans.. I see a blow out for the Bengals at home and be the best 3-0 team in the league!!
RAVENS AT BROWNS- Nice job by hoyer and company, But The Ravens and Joe Flacco are loaded and ready to roll.. The Ravens will have a solid game and handle the browns on the road..
PACKERS AT LIONS- At Home the lions are tough to beat.. I see a high scoring game with the Lions winning by a late TD... Megatron will have a big day!!
COLTS AT JAGUARS- The Colts are struggling and though its a road game. Its against one of the worst teams in the league.. The Colts will get back on track and the jaguars will be beaten badly at home... Andrew Luck will not let his team go 0-3 .. They will be ready to score early and often!!!
RAIDERS AT PATRIOTS- The raiders are the worst team in the league,, how do you lay an egg at home.. Only the raiders.. I like Carr,, but a rookie qb against a Patriot defense.. I see a laugher , blow out by halftime!! Carr will make plays but not enough to win or be competitive...
49ERS AT CARDINALS - The niners are not as good as last year// the defense is strong but the offense is struggling on the road in a hostile , road game... They are not there yet.. The cardinals have no Carson Palmer , but that defense will cause turnovers and scoring chances for the cardinals. Low scoring field goal win by the cardinals..
BRONCOS AT SEAHAWKS - The haws at home are unbeatable.. The bronco's are good but not as strong as last year. They have a better defense , but it doesn't matter , the noise , the energy and the anger by the hawks will enable them to get a easy win at home Lynch and Harvin have bug days running and catching the ball..
CHIEFS AT DOLPHINS'- The fins are ready to get back on track.. after tough loss last week.. The Chiefs lost key players on offense and defense and just look out if it.. A low scoring game with the fins playing good solid defense to secure the win!!

STEELERS AT PANTHERS - The steelers are not the same and because of that ,, they will lose badly on the road to the contending Panthers.... The steeler defense has gotten old and they dont play well early or late in the game.. Big Ben is a beast , but doesnt have the defensive support to win games.. I see a panthers win... Cam Newton will have a big day throwing and running the ball!!

First of all Great win by the San Diego Chargers, despite choking on the road against a very good Cardinal's team. The fans and media were saying Here we go again? How can the Bolts even be competitive against the mighty seahawks,, the hawks looked invincible against aaron rodgers and the Packers,, But guess what folks.. THE NFL - NO FIGURE LEAGUE,, strikes again.. Its hard to figure these teams out this year..? But guess what that's what the NFL wants, its what Vegas wants,,keeping you guys guessing??
Well anyways.. why the Bolts won..
Simple. Summer football. the Chargers are SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS if they play summer football, and force cold weather teams to play in it.. Its like the chargers being forced to play in the cold.. some teams cant handle it.. and it helps when the weather is 120 degrees on the field and the chargers have been playing in this heat all summer long.. The seahawks didn't have a chance? They made it close,, but the first touch down was incorrect.. Harvin stepped out and the ref even points to it.. Whatever happened to all scoring plays being reviewed,, THE NFL IS A JOKE RIGHT NOW!1It didn't happened.. The NFL with all its money and electronic devices,, couldn't even get a simple procedure done correctly... Oh well it didn't matter overall, But if the chargers managed to lose because of it,, then we have uproar.. But perhaps,, the football Gods are smiling on us,,, Because karma or Percy Harvin fumbling the kick off return later in the game made up for it.. Great job special teams.. and of course the heat and sweating hands helped too..
Now Antonio Gates.. The man is amazing,, 34 years and counting and has one his greatest games since 2005,, since yes,, the Drew Brees days.. What a day.. 3 tds,, close to 100 yds recieving and single handily beat the hawks,., sorry sherman,,, you couldnt cover him either or royal or allen.. maybe no touchdowns,, but the chargers were a head ache to handle.. If anything the chargers exposed the seahawks,, that slant routes and quick moves are hard for this tall secondary... Perhaps match ups do count,,and if and when the hawks play again,, SUPERBOWL.. the quick receivers in royal , allen and woodhead will play havoc on those seahawks.. not to mention gates and green,, and lets not forget Malcolm Floyd and Inman.. and tutu... too many weapons for the hawks to handle and rivers played a great game.. No picks , no fumbles and great protection.. This is the formula for success, but the issue for the other NFL teams do they have the personnel to do the same.. The chargers have the players and the coaches to make this work.. The questions are. can the seahawks respond to all the media observations after this game..
Russel Wilson is a good quarterback ,but need the Beast mode to assist him... Lynch needs a good passing attack to unleash his running style.... The defense of legion of boom , they need to a lead to play their style of defense.. All questions and concerns for the hawks,, and they will be attacked throughout the season... because of it..
Philip Rivers and Gates are unstoppable.. if given time and protection Rivers and gates all day long especially in the red zone.. The big difference is having Floyd and allen at wide outs,Teams have to account for the.. and why the bolts can score at will in the red zone... But the loss of Mathews will hurt the chargers , he was the work horse , the cow bell.. Now he's out for the rest of the season, will change things,, It mean Woodhead , Brown and rookie Oliver have to step up,, by committee.. Brown will be the short yardage red zone guy and woodehead and oliver will be the inside and outside runners.. Lets hope they step up.. The bolts need a solid running game to keep this 40 + a minute time of possession going .. The plan to hold the ball was genius.. It wore down the hawks,, and it helped he charger defense get the rest to apply pressure and make that final stop at the end of the game..
stats dont lie that the biggest margin of victory any team has Had against the hawks in 2 years.. This is a great stat..
Now bottom line.. The Chargers need to take this great win and their formula and apply it to the 2-0 Buffalo Bills,, The team they are playing are winning with defense and they have a pretty good offense to boot.The Bolts have to travel cross country , and play a 10 am.. game.. Now that's the issues.. The Bolts like the raiders, don't play well on cross country trips.. But thank goodness its not in the deep winter weather.. The Bolts will be ready and the hawks,,, no need to say,, they will be angry about losing to a great team -- as Russel Wilson said.. They will batter and crush the Broncos.. come next week.. The Broncos have a different skill set and the hawks match up better than them.. The broncos may be better than the chargers overall, But on the offensive side of the ball.. different skill players and plays that make this team a match up horror film..
Last thoughts. Great win by the Chargers,, great performance by the defense,, and a hall of fame day for Gates. But expect tougher games ahead.. and We need more production from allen and floyd.. and Woodhead and Brown will have the full load this week.. THE SOURCE NFL WEEK 2 PICKS - LAST WEEK 7-9 ..
THURSDAY NIGHT - PICKS IN BOLD PRINT!!
STEELERS AT RAVENS -Enough of the Ray Rice deal.. The Steelers are getting their defense back,, almost blew it last week, But a win is a win and great teams find ways to win.. The Steelers will play hard and hand another loss to the ravens who are scrambling to get their team back on track. Not this week, with a new offense and poor running game... Joe flacco will be forced to throw and the steelers will have fun... Steelers by a touchdown..
SUNDAY
DOLPHINS AT BILLS- The dolphins had a career day against the patriots and took advantage of Tom Bradys poor play,, They pay the up and coming Bills,, Another tough game but I like the Dolphins pulling out a close win , behind Strong defense and running game..
JAGUARS AT REDSKINS - The Jags played well on the road against the eagles but were blown out anyways.. Scheduling back to back road games early in the season was fair to a losing team, and I don't expect a competitive game as the skins get going against the leagues worst team..
CARDINALS AT GIANTS - The cardinals played smooth and steady last week and expect another type of effort against the Giants.. The Gmen are strguggling on offense and defense and though they are at home,, I see the cardinals just being n better sync and going on to win easily behind strong defense and a more consistent offensive attack!! Carson Palmer and Fitgerald have big days,,
PATRIOTS AT VIKINGS'- The patriots are upset and they will take it out on the Vikings,, I Tom terrific get back on track and handle AP and company.. The Vikings looked great , but that was agiants the leagues worst team next to the jaguars.. I see a better effort the Brady bunch.. and see that squad laughing and giggling all through out the game!!
SAINTS AT BROWNS- Drew Bress looks like a MVP and played a exceptional game.. the issue like so many other high powered offenses is defense,. We thought they got better , but it looks like Drew needs another 5000 Yard season to get them back into playoffs,,, Its starts with the browns. The browns have a good defense,, but The Saints are relentless and will eventually wear down the browns with their aerial circus.
LIONS AT PANTHERS - Stafford and Megatron are something to watch, and I see them doing well against the panthers. It might not be a high scoring affair , But I see the Lions winning and humbling the panthers who deciding on qb starters.. Cam Newton ,, is the question mark for this team..
COWBOYS AT TITANS-The boys were horrible because Romo was inconsistent at home,, they were embarassed , now they go on the road against a hard hitting and consistent team,, As much I would like to pick the boys,, but The Titans right now are playing better football,, The boys like the chargers like to pla better later in the season. I see the same trend,,,
FALCONS AT BENGALS The Falcons had a emotional last second victory over the saints, Matt Ryan can play if given time. Sorry Matt you are playing a quality defense in the Bengals,,, At home the Bengals will win easily behind strong defense annd Andy Dalton and AJ green doing their thing!!

CHIEFS AT BRONCOS'- The Peyton Manning show continues,,, whats amazing , is even after surgeries and age,, hes throwing the ball better than ever , and even though he doesn't have decker or welker,, Hes still doing his thing.. Bad News for the Chiefs who played lack luster football at home.. Tough assignment for the Chiefs and barring an Injury to manning,, I see the Broncos celebrating a lopsided victory with manning throwing multiple touchdowns..
TEXANS AT AT RAIDERS'The raiders played great football for a half.. they should of or could of won.. But that's done,, This week they play a similar team , but I like carr and company of young studs . I see another great defensive effort and a solid win for the Raiders.. But dont hold your breath... raider nation its been tough , but I see greater things if not now later in the season..
JETS AT PACKERS 'The jets pulled a close one last week.. This week they meet up with Aaron Rodgers and the discount double check crew.. I see the Packers scoring early and often..

EAGLES AT COLTS-The eagles were magnificent in their opening day win at home,, but they did scare themselves.. I see this being a the highest scoring game of the week.. This will conclude the week of games of upsets and big plays.. I see Manning throwing multiple tds and a break out running day for one of the elite runners of the NFL. But that's done,, This week they play a similar team , but I like carr and company of young studs . I see another great defensive effort and a solid win for the Raiders.. The Bears are talented with Cutler and Marshall, but they don't play consistent football team.. right now this is a toss up game between two teams with solid defenses , and offense's trying to find themselves.. EAGLES AT COLTS-The eagles were magnificent in their opening day win at home,, but they did scare themselves.. Now they have to go on the road against a pretty good defense , and Andrew Luck will take advantage of the noise and pass his way to a Monday night win,.. I see this being a the highest scoring game of the week.. This will conclude the week of games of upsets and big plays.. I see Manning throwing multiple tds and a break out running day for one of the elite runners of the NFL. PETERSON, LYNCH , MATHEWS,, GORE.. its gonna happen,,, fresh legs,, and fresh lineman to block,. Lets get ready for another exciting week of THE NFL..

First of all I want to give honor and praise to the Firefighters and Law enforcement that lost their lives fighting that tragic event and to those innocent citizens that were killed by such a cowardly act. My prayers and thoughts go out to their families that have had to deal with this for their entire lives.
May God Bless America and those that defend this great nation.. The United States of America..
Now to the Charger melt down.. Guess what fans. The Saints , The patriots ,, and the Bears had similar leads only to lose at the end,, Now.. Its the first week of the season.. I game , one week doesn't create worry. Now if all these teams continue to lose at the end and make the same mistakes in the next few weeks , then, we have problems..
But those issues are correctable.. catch the ball. protect the QB , and stop the run.. do those things and all of these teams come out winners in week one.. remember its along drawn out season,, and its a Marathon of wills an skills,, The players will suffer ups and downs and stresses in their lives and season.. Its the team that handles everything well and plays well under those conditions ,, is usually the Lomabardi trophy winner, The seahawks did it last year and they look like the team of destiny, They are playing the best football right here , right now,,, not to steal from that Van Halen song but its the truth.. As for chargers. lets face it they lost a important cog in the offensive line when Hardwick suffered his season , and perhaps career ending injury. They lost the great coordinator in Whisenhunt and now have rookie coordinator Frank Reich ,, and it showed, The offense may have all the weapons in place, but they are out of sync.. and come Sunday afternoon,, they play another lousy game. White out Sunday may become blow out Sunday The hawks will take advantage of everything. fumbles,, wasted time outs,, penalties.. if the Bolts don't rise up,,, then the hawks will destroy the chargers.. Its the clear facts. The facts play harder , don't miss tackles , don't drop possible picks or receptions and they don't fumble a shot gun snap when the game is on the line.. They play championship football and if the Bolts don't counter with the same.. it doesn't matter if they have 70,00 0 white clad shirts and jerseys rooting for them.. It will be a lopsided win for the hawks,, Now all those errors are correctable,, but also,, its a concern that the bolts have a rookie coordinator and a new center.. That's has to step up.. To be honest.. I was impressed with Jason Verret and Jerry Atochou,, they need to play,, the defense had spark when they were in, Its time for new blood and new energy to take over the defense.. Its time the offense get aggressive when they have a lead.. They became to conservative at the end.. and that's why they lost.. You have to be a Pete Carrol , or Bill Belechick style of score , score , and keep scoring!! No mercy rule in the NFL.. You have to lower the boom so to speak when you play in the NFL.. I like Coach McCoy , but he needs to instill that killer instinct that we can score every drive and we will try to.. Its only one week, But next sunday we can find out what level the chargers are.. Are they the best of the worst teams,, or a true contender with the big boys,, The close loss to the cardinals was impressive,, But the Cardinals were hurting on defense and the super chargers could not take advantage..
The seahawks are for real and healthy and ready to roll.. can the chargers comeback from a heat breaking loss and get back on track.. If theres a chance to beat the seahawks , its now or never. The bolts have all their players and have the energy and desire to bounce back.. It wont be easy but I believe in the San Diego Chargers and true fans will stick with them.. Quick finger poisoning and saying it the same old chargers.. Because I like the vibe on the field and we have play makers ready to explode,, Mathews looks like a beast and Gates look healthy and ready,, Now we need to go out and cheer them on and lets enjoy another great Sunday watching the greatest sport invented!

CHARGERS AT CARDINALS KEYS TO THE GAME
CHARGERS AT CARDINALS - KEYS TO THE GAME;MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL 9/8/14
OFFENSE - CHARGERS - Protect Rivers and dominate lime of scrimmage so that The triple threat running backs Mathews , Brown and Woodhead can run catch and play havoc on those cardinals line backing crew.
gates and green will cause match up issues along with Keenan Allan ,Malcolm Floyd and slot receiver Royal.. Expect tutu and Inman to make some plays in the long passing game.. I expect the Chargers to throw early to set up run game , take a lead and use the ground and pound to secure the win..
OFFENSE - CARDINALS- Its all about Carson Palmer , if he's on and Fitzgerald is clicking they can win this game in a high scoring affair. The Running game for the Cardinals is depleted and rely on short passes to make up for lack of run game..
DEFENSE- CHARGERS - The chargers went out and spent money at corners ,,, Pro bowler Brandon Flowers and Number one draft pick Jasson Verret .. I expect great pressure from Freeney , Reyes and Ligeut , as well as the new line backer Atochou.
DEFENSE - CARDINALS - The Cardinals are a good defense with star peterson at corner , the problem is the Bolts have too many weapons and Peterson will be covering Allen, Floyd , Inman and Green at times... They have cromartie but he's average at best at this particular time of his career. They Cardinals will try to pressure Rivers and stop the run to force the Bolts to throw.. Which might be a bad problem for them. Like I said too many weapons and not enough play makers on defense to cover them all. Rivers has faith in his crew and now has a motivated defense to give him more chances to score..
Final thoughts; It will be a hard fought game , but as the Chargers get going and the offense gets in a sync,, It may be too much for Cardinals to keep up I can see a high scoring offensive show or a tough low scoring defensive game,, But I feel the tremendous weapons on the Charger offense and a new found defense, I see the Chargers rolling to a easy road win.. 35- 21...

PACKERS AT SEAHAWKS- The hawks have no Superbowl hang over ,and to be honest they are better and faster this year than last year. This team is my early SUPERBOWL PICK TO REPEAT as champions being the first one to do it since the Mighty Patriots. Whats scary for the league this is still a very young team.. They will be the next dynasty that will win multiple SUPERBOWLS..
SUNDAY GAMES;
BILLS AT BEARS- THE bears.. They have the talent , but they have a problem.. its Jay Cutler.. he such a downer for this team. But they will play better , but dont really trust cutler.. Its time to look for a real franchise qb...bears The Bills are young and on the move , but like the bears they need a true franchise qb.. But a good win for the Bills,, A win is a win the NFL..
BROWNS AT STEELERS- Great start by the steelers, Big Ben looks strong and healthy and the defense is still a work in progress. they are starting alot of youngsters ,, the steelers are a growing team that is in transition, and will make some noise this year if everyone stays healthy..
BENGALS AT RAVENS- Tough games I thought The ravens would protect the home turf.. I really think we are seeing a changing of the guard in the AFC North. The wild tigers the Bengals looked focused and ready to make up for their choke job last year in the playoffs. Andy Dalton has big money contract and is compelled to do well, which I feel he will!!
REDSKINS AT TEXANS- THE skins are debating about team name when they need a quarterback that is focused on improving his game.. RGIII is talented , but he;s selfish and arrogant , too bad .. plus having a first year head coach adds to the misery for the skins.. The Texans are making the right moves and will play better football this year.
JAGUARS AT EAGLES-- The eagles almost gave this game away.. Its good they played a lousy team.. I still think the eagles win the pathetic NFC EAST , but they need to eliminate those costly turnovers.. But a win is a win today's NFL. THE EAGLES WILL BE EXCITING TO WATCH AND Last Sunday proved they can come back from 21 points down and win going away!!
PATRIOTS AT DOLPHINS- THE DOLPHINS have a winning record against Tom Brady , they know how to play him and play him , they did.. Tom Brady looked pathetic , old and tired .. of getting hit. The pats need to fix their line issues or tom Brady would last the season. The Fins if they stay healthy they can challange its still the first week. but Pats have issues to address early...
SAINTS AT FALCONS- Ok the Falcons have weapons on offense , but the Saints scoring 34 points on the road should be a win,, But the defense was punch less, all the high priced moves,, only showed that the saints have a terrible defense,,, and Though Brees may have another record breaking year. with that defense,, They are going no where on the playoffs especially they have the niners, seahawks and cardinals with pwoer house defenses.. The Falcons.. great win at home but I still think they are a bad team.. Giving up 34 pts at home is not the formula for winning football games..
PANTHERS AT BUCS- The panthers are a formidiable defense ad Cam Newton is a great motivator. Hey man stay off the field ,, What a clown..? Coach Ron Rivera is a great coach , but your qb is a show off and maybe you need to reconsider having him as a starting qb.. But thats alot of money to throw away.. The Bucs played well but don't have as much talent as the panthers.
TITANS AT CHIEFS- THE UPSET special of the week. The Chiefs were pathetic at home and they look like have offensive line issues as well as defense.. Its only the first week. but such a no effort at home is disturbing.
VIKINGS AT RAMS- Well this was predictable. The Rams lost thier franchise quarterback and the Vikings were ready to play and did with a blow out. The Vikings could be the surprise team this year. No playoffs but some competitive football playing with AP all day long!!

They still have offensive line issues and the defense failed them late in the game.. jones drew needs to used more and mcfadden needs more efforts in his runs.. The Jets have one of the best front sevens in football , but the secondary is questionable.. The Jets took chances on defense and it worked..
49ERS AT COWBOYS - This was the most ridiculous romo game ever! I mean he was playing sand lot football. just throwing the ball up for grabs,, and the Niners were eager to take.. The Niners offense was not very consistent , but the defense made up for it. The Cowboys have issues on both lines of offense and defense, and their quarterback is not healthy , physically or mentally. I hate to say this but I see a losing record for the Cowboys this year based on how many issues they showed last Sunday. As for the Niners. They play great defense , solid run game but kapernick is not improving like his counter part Russell Wilson.. Kapernick looks the part , but doesn't play the part, He over throws wide outs and makes crazy runs and not protecting himself. He;s too macho fo rhis own good. My take.. less kapernick , more ball control run game and play lights out defense to challenge for the big game, If not.. This could be a tough year for the niners..

BENGALS AT RAVENS- The red rifle Andy Dalton gets this big contract and the pressure is on,, and the RAVENS want to explode on him. Its a division game , but I like the Flacco and his new offense to get rolling and win a tough game at home.
REDSKINS AT TEXANS- The skins are rebuilding and all this talk about name change is a major distraction.. The Texans are a great defensive team and they will help the offense with great play and create turnovers as the Texans win easily at home..
JAGUARS AT EAGLES- The eagles are the talk of the town. Nick Foles. McCoy at running back and that no huddle fast pace offense will be too much for the over matched jaguars.. The Eagles win by 3 touchdowns,,
PATRIOTS AT DOLPHINS- Another division game and The dolphins will play the patriots well, but Tom Terrific Brady is on a mission \to win another division title, win the AFC CONFERENCE AND GO TO THE SUPERBOWL..
SAINTS AT FALCONS- Drew Bress has been one of the most consistent qbs this past decade , the problem is that saint defense is not very good,, but the falcons are even worse.. The Saints win in a runaway.. The falcons don't have the talent to keep up ..
PANTHERS AT BUCCANEERS- First off, the Panthers getting rid of Steve Smith was a awful move in so many ways.. He was the heart and soul of the team.. and they will suffer this year without him.. Both teams are defensive minded and a toss up game.. But I like the Bucs in a low scoring , boring game..
TITANS AT CHIEFS'The Chiefs are a very good team with lots of talent , the titans are rebuilding ,, and in loud venue,,, I see the chiefs winning easily at home..

I see a close tight game with the winner making the least mistakes and controlling the game with their run game.. The Chargers will pull away late as the running game will wear down the cardinals defense and those long drives will force the cardinals to play catch up .. Possibly the best game of the week and what a way to end the first week of NFL FOOTBALL..

In today's world.. One of the worst enemies for our lives is wasting time. Whether its saving , investing , spending or just plain old procastinating. The Oakland Raiders - Return to Excellence- 2014
Well Raider Nation its been over a decade of losing and being abused and laughed at by the masses. For die hard fans its been hard to take.. I mean remember people this team at one time was one of the BEST teams in history.. But times and grimes have not been good to this team.. The Marcus Allen deal , the B jackson quick career and the John Gruden chucky firing were all curses that made this team.. go backwards,, But I know,, it's the Raiders ,, its the team that has nore coaching changes and quarterback changes then any other team in the NFL during the past ten years.. But things are changing.. why?
Derek Carr , yes David Carr's brother , and to be honest I think he's better and he is the future for the Raiders, Sorry Schuabb,, your done.. Mentally , physically etc.. If the raiders want to win or be competitve this year and beyond,, Derek Carr is the man.. and Here are my predictions for this team..
1) They will be 8-8
2) Derek Carr Offensive rookie of the year
3) Khalil Mack defensive rookie of the year
4) Maurice Jones Drew - Comeback player of the year
I know lofty goals but this team has the potential and talent and lets not forget they did beat down the chargers last year .. and played them tough both times.. The Raiders just needed a franchise quarterback.. and guess what they finally have it.. and They have outstanding defensive players ,, with Khalil mack being the young stud. I know,, Its the Raiders,, but they are rebuilding and if not this year , the next few years they will be a team to reckon with in the AFC west.. The Chargers are still in vogue because of Rivers ,, but when he retires,, which could be sooner than later.. The raiders and could be the new leaders of the AFC WEST..WHY? Manning and Rivers have a few years left and Alex Smith is a good but not great qb for the chiefs. Which leaves stud muffin Carr and Company leading the way,, Unless the Broncos Chargers and chiefs find franchise quarterbacks,, but I don't see it on their rosters at this time,, I mean Kellen Clemens for the chargers is good but not a elite qb.. But time will tell and for you raider haters,,, yes.. laugh now,but the raiders are building things right.. Elite qb.. quality line and a aggressive young defense.. As for this year.. No playoffs for the raiders. no big wins.. But a more consistent level of playing and a chance to win,, if Carr is healthy.. and with jones drew ramming down the field,,,, and that defense led by rookie sensation Mack.. I see big and wonderful things for the raiders.. I know its still the raiders and they may have growing pains.. But they will be a tough team to play this year..

SAN DIEGO CHARGER TEAM 2014 . THE FINAL CUTS..
Notable cuts.. Mike Flacco , Joe Flaccos brother cut from the team. The San Diego State Star and local product Vincent Brown , was cut. He had potential , but after that leg breaking injury , he was never the same and the Bolts were very patient with him , but we need producers , and enter Inman, and Grice, Yes.. I know grice is listed as tailback , fullback , but he can also double a slot receiver something he did in college and can run back kick offs or punts.. In addition adding Oliver , the Darren Sproles clone,, can be our secret weapon.. I mean,, Mathews, Brown , Woodhead , and Grice in the mix. The bolts have a solid and versatile back field.. Add Rivers and veteran Clemens,, who must be wondering if only i stayed with the Rams ,,, He would be the starting qb,, after another injury to Sam Bradford.. Oh well Rams loss is our gain.. But the surprising release is Sorensen.. I saw potential with him,, but the coaches saw something else.. what? Who really knows.. but it was a surprise in My eyes. The shady pick was the Ryan Lindley pick.. the back up qb of the cardinals.. hmm.. how convenient to pick up a qb a week before the game.. Needless to say,, The Cardinals are probably scrambling to rename plays or what.. But damage done, by the chargers,, just having them think they have somthing can be a mental and psychological edge . Great move chargers,, Now lets see what happens. I know the charger feel they have a quality squad,, and I agree that the first teamers can play with anyone in the league,, buts its the 2nd and 3rd team players the chargers are lacking in.. The Chargers like other teams.. need to develop depth and continue finding player that can challenge for the starting position.. Thats how the seahawks , the niner , ravens, patriots keep their teams going.. The Chargers are heading on the right direction.. and I like the squad and the coaches, and with alittle luck and a long wiining streak somewhere in season . The Chargers have a shot at winning the division and making some noise.. The defense is the key with Verret and Flowers at corners and the hard hitting Addae at safety , I like what I see, the front 3 with lissmre , reyes and ligeut ,, I see a strong pass rush,,, but its the linebackers I'm concerened about.. Teo's, Ingrahan, Butler, Atochou , Williams, Freeney These guys need to put pressure and cover the pass catchers coming out of the back field..I''m more conident with the back side of the defense with Flowers , wright and addae and weedle.. but the front seven needs to put pressure to keep these guys alive so to speak.. The special teams coverage wasn't very good in the preseason,, and we dont have a quality kick returner or punt returner other than keenan allen, but he needs to be saved for the offense,, Lets hope Inman , Grice or Oliver can provide that spark we need on those special teams.. Overall , not a bad squad, But the Chargers need to get off to great start and keep rolling this season and nice win in Arizona before coming home to the annual White Out Season opener in San Diego Ca.
