JAN 3,2014 SATURDAY 

#6 RAVENS AT # 3 STEELERS -Congratulations to the ravens winning their final game and earning the final spot in the playoffs. This will be a war and the steelers losing their top back will be a big issue and now Big Ben and the rest of the Killer B's will have to step up and I feel they will. They are beginning to look like the steeler defense of old. But the big Key is Big Ben, he has a big day the steeelers will win this game. The Ravens will make this a war , but don't have enough defense to stop all the weapons the Steelers have , expect a hard hitting and low scoring game.. 

#5 CARDINALS AT #4 PANTHERS - The cardinals have been the most amazing team this year, but with no quality top notch qb.. they are going to be out matched by the resurgent panthers. Asking a rookie qb to be in a big playoff game is too much to ask. he may get ugly early and I see the panthers winning easily home. I predict a lop sided win for the panthers..I see the panthers defense make the rookie into making mistakes in judgment and choices , which will give the panthers great field position and many opportunities for the panthers Cam Newton and company.. 

JAN 4, 2014 SUNDAY 

#5 BENGALS AT  #4 COLTS -The battle of the Andy's or andrews? But I have to stick with Luck, he just is playing better and more consistent. At home he will be fearless and aggressive and this could be the highest scoring game of the weekend. I expect high scores and big plays .. I see the colts making more of them. The bengals may be without AJ green and that could be enough for the colts to make this a shoot out.. Andrew Luck will just be too much for the Bengals who seem to struggle in the playoffs under the big lights and pressure. The bengals had a chance to win the division last week , but fumbled and bumbled their way into losing a winnable game. When it matters most , I trust Andrew Luck over dandy Andy dalton. The patterns of  the past will haunt the Red Rifle and the patterns of success of Andrw Luck will direct them to solid and convincing win.

# 6 LIONS AT #3 COWBOYS - The Lions lose their best run stopper and defensive player suh, and figuring they are playing a running team like the cowboys,, that could and will spell disaster for the lions.. The saving grace is the cowboys don't play well at home ad the lions should take advantage of that. The boys have the big three, big time qb, big time runner in murray and big time wde out in bryant,, thats the formula thy have used all season long. I see the trend continuing. It might be a struggle in the beginning, nerves, ,, emotions, but the cowboys will  settle down and realize they are can beat the lions. They will impose their will and skill and have a dominating win at home The Lions struggle scoring either at home or on the road.. Plus losing suh has taken the big defensive stopper out of the equation.. Big mistake on suh and  because of that. They the Lions will lose the game and ruin a big chance to do something in the playoffs. My other lop sided win selection of the weekend!! What about dem cboys!!! indeed..

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS UNPLUGGED VS CHIEFS.. DEC 28,2014..
   Congratulations to the San Diego Chargers having another 9-7 winning record, But after starting 5-1 and at one point standing at 8-4 , a 9-7 finish is more disappointing than anything else,, why? Because all they had to do was have a 500 record in the month of December , which was done in years past . But? They were unable to finish the deal and because of that they are fans instead of participants in the Superbowl tournament.. 
   Problems with the chargers, you have to stop people.. not only on defense, but on offense, you must protect your quarterback.. 7 sacks,, oh my goodness, no wonder they lost. Every hit took the energy and confidence needed to win. They the chiefs kicked the chargers butt with strong pass rush and covering the wide out and tight ends,, like a blanket, But what was the most disappointing was Frank reichs play calling.. How do you run 4th and 1 with a runner who barely averages 2.2 yards a carry anyways.. If the chargers were going to lose,, lose by throwing the ball. with gates,floyd and royal and even inman.. why not? But the chargers chose to be a power running team against a defensive line that has pro bowlers all over the place, now? Go figure that one out? Lets face it the chargers were out coached , were outplayed and they were kicked to the curb by a 2nd string quarterback , and a offense that had no wide outs with a touch down.. now that's embarrassing ,, But if the charger fans think that's okay, Then that's why the chargers Will never be winners , if they continue to look for bargain basement coaches, bargain basement lineman,, and over paying for a running back that had one good year out of 5.. Yes, The Mathews experiment is over. He did give us some great moments when he was healthy, But he has missed over a season worth of games and for a every down running back,, with big money.. The Chargers and their fans did not get their return on their investment,which is very sad, just watching him on the sideline was sickening , especially they had a undrafted , small but tough runner in Branden Oliver.. I admire that kid, because he gave it his all and was ready to roll all year long.. We need players like that.. 
  This is the NFL - THE NO FAIR LEAGUE.. you have to find players , play makers play breakers and bad asses to be on you team..
   Just look at all the contenders in the super bowl tournament , each team has a attitude guy a play maker a bad ass that dictates their offense or defense... The hawks with Sherman, Chancellor and on offense ,wilson and lynch.. Those types make up the attitude and emotions of the team.. We need that on the chargers.. Allen was the guy , but when he git hurt , the bolts lost their mojo.. As much as I like Ingraham and teo,, we need more aggressive line backers and pass rushers.. We need a mean and masty nose tackle that can dictate and own the line.. We just have guys .. right now.. the chargers really need to look in the draft or free agency and get these types.. because without a Strong line,, your team is doomed and that's what happened to the chargers.. The losses to the Chiefs, Patriots and Broncos lost for a reason, they just didn't have the bad asses other teams fear.. Until that happens.. the recent trend of 8-8 to 9-7 records will continue.. ? The formula is out there to follow, but do the chargers have the money , the desire or the passion to make those deals and perhaps go after players with questionable ethics or thinking. Football is a war , its fight within a fight,, you need guys that are crazy enough to risk life and limb to  win.. I know it sounds barbaric, but that's football, we have seen many times the hardest working, with the most heart beat out the talented teams.. Like the New Your Giants beating the mighty patriots twice.. or the Buccaneers destroying the raiders back in the day or the Rams or saints winning when they were once upon a time losers.. It can happen, but yuo need a attitude coach with attitude players.. But chances are based on history ,, the chargers will not sign or resign players like Vincent Jackson , or Rodney Harrison, or drew brees or darren sproles, because they think tey can find a replacement.. Guess what? fans.. those guys were never replaced,, in facat those are the weaknesses the team still has since they left,,,  A bad ass safety that can hit , a true number one wide out , a spectacular special teams and 3rd dpwn back and a Superbowl winning quarterback that was loved by his team mates and loyal fans.. Why? Money ? conflicts of interest ? Personality conflicts.. ? or did  they know the chargers weren't going to pay them the right amount for their services regardless of what they had done.. and that's a shame on the chargers, because the fans are tired of being 8-8 - 9-7 , or winning divisions and only to lose at home,, when everything on their side,, The charger climate is average, we need guys from big time schools with big time attitudes to infuse this team with desire and passion. I know the chargers have found some diamonds in the rough,, but history and trends say,, your going to find big time players from big time schools and conferences.. The chargers were unplugged because they just didn't have the man power to beat the elites this year. No fault to the players they played as well  as they could, its just they are not tough enough, big enough .. the culture of the chargers need to change because time is running out on the Rivers and gates connection,, 2- 4 years maybe,, We have seen how long other teams have struggled without a franchise qb.. the chargers are getting near that point.. So roll the dice and spend the $ to protect rivers and run block for the new big beast runner , like a lynch, or lacy , or Murray of the cowboys or even the Murray of the raiders..  You have to have the big three on offense , QB, RUNNING BACK AND WIDE OUT.. if you look around the league , all the top teams have that combo,, The Packers, Cowboys, Seahawks, Steelers, , Bengals ,Broncos ,  have that and are my SUPER BOWL PICKS TO WIN IT ALL. THE other teams Colts, Ravens, Cardinals, Panthers, have two of the big 3 and see all of them finally losing out .. the Chargers have the QB.. GTHE WIDE OUT IN ALLEN,, AND GATES, but don't have that big back .. until then... the trend of 9-7 seasons Will continue and no trips to tournament will continue.. Its a formula that is tried and true , but do the chargers have the desire ...$ the money room and the passion to make difficult decisions... if they can and if they have a head coach that can manage the ego's of great players and get others to play better than they are.. Then the Chargers may some day in the Big Game.. But based on the history of te chargers.. Only once the Boss Ross years,, did they make that big run to the big game. Its seems the management team with their ego's , pride and certain code of ethics,, they may have a team of character, but lack the characters that can create magic and desire among players like a Antonio Brown or Bell of the steelers, or a ego maniacs like lynch and Sherman.. Having a winning attitude takes guts, takes desire , takes pride and also takes a fearless approach.. The chargers need some of those players for teams that will say, you need to account for that guy.. If and when the chargers do that.. Then expect the chargers to be unplugged in big games in the regular or post season games in the futures because they lack that x - factor player that makes opposing coaches having sleepless nights.. 
  Bottomline- I was not satisfied or pleased with the ending especially when the team was 5-1 and 8-4 and one points of the season.. When it mattered the most, the chargers weren't there?? That's why they finished 9-7 , one game better than 500. lack of consistency on all phases and not having that big time runner is so evident. Oliver did what he could and I like his play style,, but he's more of sproles like 3rd down back or change up back, not a trusted every down back that tried ot make him.. But at least he tried, unlike cryan ryan mathews.. The chargers have a long off season to make the right moves. and Lets hope they do.. of expect another suspenseful, dramatic and inconsistent year with a predictable finish,,, Time is running out with Rivers regime, take advantage, because finding that franchise qb,, may take another decade to find and more seasons of mediocrity will be in store and that would be truly a unplugging experience.. 
  Looking forward to the NFL DRAFT and free agent signings.. and the healing up of the play makers for the chargers.. Because they will need all players to pay their best as I predict the AFC west will be the most competitive division next year with the Broncos and Chiefs remaining strong and the raiders finally looking like they are heading in the right direction.. Especially if they get that  coach with a winning attitude .. Could Rex Ryan be the saviour of the raiders,, He fits the mold and could be the missing piece for this team that need to be back in the NFL conversation. Have a great year and a Happy New one.. !!

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS IDENTITY? BASED ON 2014 SEASON PERFORMANCES..
  This team is a reflection of their leader? The Leader is Philip Rivers, I know they say he's a whiner , he;s a cry baby, he's a loser.. But you know what who likes losing. I know I don't and I know the fans don't.. who wants to be happy loser.. When he goes into his rants or argumentative ways,, that's what i cal a competitor,, I mean,, I would take rivers over the i don't care looks of Jay Cutler.. Rivers plays his heart out no matter what.. he doesn't look for excuses and plays when he is in pain,, and its obvious he is hurting, chest , broken ribs,, back,, knees, ,, etc,. he has been hit more the past 4 years than Any other qb in the league,, but he continues to play and that's why the chargers, despite the odds , despite the critics .. etc. they continue to win.. Its ok.. to be honest , I like it when experts pick against the chargers,, it makes me smile when I watch the post game and see their shock faces.. It makes me happy. So what counts to the chargers is what they think of each other and I can tell they believe in one another.. No one comes back 21 points down , unless they have belief and courage and desire to win. The chargers may lack true talent and size amongst the elites of the NFL, but they have fire and desire and heart that cant be measured. They will fight their hearts out against the chiefs and play their hearts out in the playoffs..
 Their identity is tough ness , its desire it heart. Its truly next man up.. I love how the offense is clicking with gates, floyd, royal and now Inman, They all know their roles and play them well. For a defense they have to deal with a variety of wide outs.. and that must be frustrating, because they all have their own skill sets.. Floyd is such a red zone threat because of his size and leaping ability and gates is that experience route runner with great hands.. and royal is that shifty , sneaky blocker and slant wide out that finds his chances in the game and now with Inman, stepping up and running allens routes,, makes the offense as dangerous as it was when allen was in there.. The key is protecting rivers and let him build a lead , and have that defense,, play tough and consistent to secure and protect leads.. The identity is clear,, they are a team that can beat the elites,,, and they can play championship defense,, shut out the jets earlier and dominated that seahawk offense earlier in the year, as well as kept the scores with the patriots and broncos in striking range, Its been a roller coaster year , but I admire the toughness and never quit attitude that is the chargers. Like I said,, Who cares what other fans think. Because charger fans don't care because they don't matter!! The chargers are playing as well as expected and with a little lady luck and great efforts, this can be a december to remember and a true year to cheer. just remember how crazy and unpredictable this year has been.. and why not? The chargers have been the most unpredictable, suspenseful, drama filled team in the history of the NFL.. Why not win the big game in the year the exemplified that all year long. I know there are negative Nancy's and Debbie downers out there, but as far as I;m concerned.. As long as rivers has time and his players are out there. they will fight for the right to party!! That is the Superbowl party.. It has happened , Once upon a time the Rams were losers before becoming champion's along with the Buccaneer's, The Ravens, saints,, etc.. You have to make a mark one day and the chargers with their the Real Mccoy and rivers running wild with the gates wide open.. Why not? I see the chargers making a strong run this year, this Sunday starts that journey and for the following weeks , its gonna be fun to see who finally lands in Arizona for that Katy Perry Superbowl Party.. I don't know about you guys and gals.. I cant wait for this sunday,, Dec 28,2014.. !! enjoy the games and get set for wild and unpredictable ride in the NFL- NO FIGURE LEAGUE PLAYOFFS!!

CHARGERS AT CHIEFS . What to expect ? Dec 28,2014...

Chiefs on offense. Everyone knows is all about Charles in charge ! # 25 singlehandlely beat the chargers at the q earlier. He is a beast when he gets going, and the chargers struggle against against team with good runner and great play action passes. They also have Duane bowe is a explosive wide out looking to score his first td of the season.. Expect screens to the wide outs while the chargers are worried about Charles in charge. Now that they have back up qb in.. Chase Daniels.. Remember him.. well last year he nearly beat the chargers with back up last year.. This could be another war or shoot out.. But don't expect a missed field goal to decide the game, it might be game winning field goal , by who has the ball last? 

Chiefs of defense.. This defense can apply pressure on the qb, and with a wounded qb in Rivers they will go after him and make him throw sooner than he wants to. expect tight coverage and force rivers to be accurate , and also shut down the run.and really make the chargers one dimensional. But pick your poison chiefs.. The chargers have alot of weapons to worry about.. 

Chargers on offense.. Rivers IS the man,, if he has a great game,, the whole team will follow.. Expect them to run the browns and oliver , just to make the chiefs defense think abou the run, and it will help slow down the rush. The chargers will pass to take the lead and run late to slow the game down and protect the lead. I see gates have another big day and Floyd also, The chiefs will have their hands full dealing with those two studs, along with royal and Inman and oliver coming out of th back field.. It will be fun to see how rivers adjust to that defense .. with a strong pass rush.. and hard hitting linebackers.. expect rivers to challenge that secondary especially with no eric berry to roam the secondary.. gates will take advantage of that weakness and expect rivers to go to his hall of fame tight end. early and often..

Chargers on defense. The chargers are a opportunistic defense, they step up and make stops,, they still struggle passing but they cause the qb's to throw sooner than later and will have chase running for his safety. Expect the chargers to try to slow down Charles.. and make Daniels to beat them with wide outs that haven't caught a td pass. I like the chargers chances but they must play error free football and be consistent.. 

My prediction. I see rivers just making enough big plays to earn that last spot in the AFC playoffs. I see the defense stopping or slowing down charles and playing catch up football. The chiefs will just be out manned and out classed by the better qb and wide outs. It wont be a nail biting game , but it will be close , but  I see the Chargers pulling ahead late and using the running back committee to secure a victory and add another dimension to the charger attack.

PANTHERS(6-8-1) AT FALCONS(6-9)The battle for the NFC SOUTH.. what a mess? I mean a losing record wins a division in the NFL.. But anyways, I like Matt Ryan to make more plays than the inconsistent newton.. Whoever wins will get a invite to the playoffs but none of them will go past the first round with their lousy defenses and inconsistent offenses..THE OTHER GAME OF THE WEEK BECAUSE IT DECIDES THE NFC SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPS!! 
BROWNS(7-8) AT RAVENS(9-6)-The Ravens had their playoff chances in their own hands, but let it go by . Joe Flacco needs a better effort , but the browns are really struggling as a offense. The defense plays well, but if you cant score, its hard to win.. I see the ravens,, making enough plays for a solid win at home,, and despite a 10-6 record,, will miss the playoffs!! 
LIONS(11-4) AT PACKERS(11-4)- The battle of the NFC north,, two teams with pretty good offenses, but the lions have the better defense,, but at lambeau field,, it will be tough for them to pull out a win, unless they play error free football,, But I like Aaron Rodger's at home with a low scoring win at home!!THE OTHER GAME OF THE WEEK BECAUSE ITS FOR THE NFC NORTH TITLE!!
JAGUARS(3-12) AT TEXANS(8-7)-The Texans have one the best defensive players , but they are missing a franchise qb.. The jags ,, are horrible and they will struggle against this very dominating defense. I expect a easy and solid win at home for the Texans as they will finish a strong 9-7.. missing the playoffs by a game.. They will be ready to show the fans what to expect next year.. and perhaps a run at the playoffs!! 
CHARGERS (9-6) AT CHIEFS (8-7)- The Chargers made a historic comeback and now hold their playoff destiny in their own hands. The Chiefs lost a tough one against the steelers. The Chiefs are struggling and now have to face a offense that put up 38 points on the road and made one the most tremendous comebacks in NFL history. The chiefs will be tested by a very good receiving corps and a running game that is efficient if not dominating.. I expect the chargers to attack early and jump to a lead to force alex smith to play catch up.. The Chargers are better suited to win a shoot out than a ground and pound game with the chiefs.. The chiefs are going to try to slow the game down and cut down the opportunities for rivers and company.. I see Rivers making more than enough plays for a solid and convincing win on the road.. !! determines the chargers playoff position!!
JETS(3-12) AT DOLPHINS(8-7)- The Jets played good enough to lose.. or Jets = Just enough to suck,.. or Just end the season,,,, Its been a humiliating year for Coach Ryan,,, The Dolphins have been hit or miss and I expect them after a emotional win last week to have a let down. But no enough to lose,, I see the dolphins just having too many play makers for the jets to handle!
BEARS (5-9) AT VIKINGS (6-9)The Bears are back with jay cutler.. good luck,, the bears are going no where and and the bears have the worst defense in the league,Unless the bears jump to a lead,, I don't see them giving it their best efforts. The Vikings are young and coming and they will give their best because they have a caring qb.. This could get ugly early.. I see a easy win for the Vikings ..
BILLS(8-7) AT PATRIOTS(12-3)The Bills were outplayed by the lowly raiders , now they must face the division leading Patriots. The pats are unbeatable at home and they want to prove they are primed and ready for that Superbowl run.. I expect a strong and solid win at home with a balanced attack and a steady solid defensive effort. 
EAGLES(9-6) AT GIANTS(5-10)-The eagles have landed and its looking bad for the high flying offense.. They score alot , but give up alot.. and against the Giants ,, who can run and pass,, I see the gmen,, playing better balanced football and finish with a solid win at home..Mark Sanchez,, was good at the start , but has been exposed.. He has become the turnover machine , the eagles cant overcome.. 
BENGALS(10-4-1) AT STEELERS(10-5)- The BATTLE OF THE AFC NORTH.. The steelers have one of the most potent offenses in the league,, but that offense is still a question mark? Stopping the chiefs at home is not a indicator since the chiefs have been struggling all year long to score consistently. But its was a start and this will truly test their mental attitude.. It will be a game of the week and should be a fun game to watch!!! MY GAME OF WEEK TO WATCH!!!
SAINTS(6-9) AT BUCCANEERS(2-13)The saints are playing some of their worst football in years..perhaps that fan stealing the ball from the Bengal fan weeks ago,. created a bad vibe or the football gods penalizing that team.. But anyways,,, I see Bree's having a ok day and enough to beat the lowly buccaneers , but I would be surprised if the bucs pulled a victory,, The saints ... are the biggest disappointment of the year!! 
COLTS(10-5) AT TITANS(2-13)Andrew Luck and the Colts were embarrassed last week and they will come out and embarrass the lowly titans... Sorry charlie whitehurst. Your playing a bonafide contender with a defense that is angry. I see this as a blow out form the beginning!! 
COWBOYS(11-4) AT REDSKINS(4-11)The Cowboys are one of the teams in the NFL because of passing and running the ball and a  defense that steps up when it time to. The Skins are a team in disarray , despite a win over the cardiac eagles. The boys are the class of the division , if not the whole NFC.. and they want that road to the Superbowl to come through Dallas!!!
RAIDERS (3-12) AT BRONCOS(11-4)Trends say after a big win by the raiders they fall flat the following week. Now they have to play the broncos,, who can run and pass and play stout defense.. Its a division game , but the Broncos are playing championship football and the raiders , play winning football every four weeks ,, they will lose and show how inconsistent of a team they are and they need a better coaching staff to keep them consistently, They need a coaching staff that teaches , not one that preaches corny cliques. Manning did look vulnerable on Monday night but the raiders don't have that kind of defense and I expect Manning to bounce back , its been that kind of year , one week you look great and then the following week you look beatbable..But against the inconsistent raiders who haven't won a road game in almost two years straight.. I find it hard to pick them unless your a die hard raider fan, and even that , that's more hoping to win , than expecting to win.!!
CARDINALS (11-4) AT 49ERS(7-8)The 49ers lost a heart breaker at home and now get to finish the season against division leading cardinals. the issues are the cardinals have a no qb and after a embarrassing home loss to the seahawks.. They are desperate to et back tot their winning ways.. The Niners are playing for pride and  I see them playimg their hearts out for their fans and beleaguered coach. They will pound and ground and have the defense hold back a limited and struggling cardinals offense. 
RAMS(6-9) AT SEAHAWKS (11-4)After watching the seahawks dismantle the division leading cardinals , its clear the seahawks have that championship defense back, and enough offense to score and keep defenses on their toes.. The Rams have played well but they lack a true franchise quarterback and because of that , They lose  to the mighty seahawks,, I see a easy and convincing win at home.

  Congratulations to the San Diego Super Chargers in their amazing , unreal historic comeback on Saturday night football in Santa Clara Ca.. It was amazing to see , even after sitting on my coach and watching them getting their tails handed to to them 28-7 by halftime.. It was depressing, upsetting and pathetic to watch... but....
   Like what they did against the Raiders in Oakland, -31-28 come from behind win, or the Ravens 34-33 come from behind win with 6 minutes remaining, the 49ers was even more dramatic and hair raising... Its funny how the charger fans would tweet , face book during the games with its over, they are done, stick a fork in them.. as soon as those comments were circulating. Rivers and Company began their amazing comeback,, well, sort of... the 3rd quarter run by kaper seemed to damper the mood again,, but Rivers and that no quit attitude , kept coming and low and behold , thanks to some clutch catches by Inman and Gates and Floyd.. and Royal,, they made it happen.. Tied the game.. Now overtime, Niners won the toss and wanted the ball,, you blame them..all night they ran for over 300 yards plus rushing . so why not,, and they were on the verge to winning the game when low and behold weddle making up for some bone headed plays like kap running past him... like his was in slow moton,,, He forced a fumble and lissemore recovered and rivers drove the team down so nick and nite game winning Field goal. wow.. incredible finish, and extreme elation for charger fans and football fans,, fans of the chargers or not that was exciting football.. enjoy..
  Now the charger trends.. The chargers this year after emotional come back wins. Raiders , and Ravens , the bolts would have a let down.. losing at home to the chiefs and losing 2  games at home after the ravens win.. If you believe in trends and stats.. the the chargers are due for another close loss.. its what they have done all year long.. But this is December and rivers is 31-8 EVER since he has taken over as charger starter that's a awesome record.. Now can they make it happen at kc NEXT WEEK..its gonna be tough The Chiefs at home at 5-2 with blowout wins over the Dolphins, Patriots, Rams and a close win over seahawks.. the chargers in turn lost to the fins in a blowout and at home against the patriots.. so what gives?? well the chargers swept the raiders and the chiefs lost split with them and both teams lost to division leading broncos.. so my point? 
   The Chiefs seem to play better at home and if the chargers get behind like they did in niner land, amazing comeback maybe too much to ask for? The chiefs are coming off a loss to the steelers and ever since the seahawks game many weeks ago , have trouble scoring over 20 pts with the exception of the raider win.. scoring 31 points.. but the trend shows they are struggling and based on alex smith lack of confiedience in his receiving corps , it seems he gonna rely on charles to win games.. and having that stout defense,,, My take,, they will try to run and keep the game close until the end. like they did at san diego.. The chargers were stifled and had all their players in tact.. and that was after a emotional come from behind win over the raiders.. its gonna be tough because ,, it will be loud and the chargers are using makeshift lineman and centers to deal with that noise,, thats a big issue, but the way to quiet a crowd is a run game and takng a lead.. which the chargers are planning to do.. Dramatic comebacks every week , though fun,, is not the way to keep winning in the NFL.. 
    Which charger team will show up the one that has treated the fans to 9 wins, or the tricksters that have lost 6 games.. one trend is common in all those game they have lost they haven't scored more than 20 pts while allowing up to 37 pts.. in a blow out loss on the road to the dolphins .. So if I had to make a football guess. the key is ..
     Keep the score below ,, and score 3 tds and the bolts will have their 10 th win of the season, securing a playoff berth and prepare for a unpredictable run in the playoff tournament. If anything, the chargers need to be more consistent on both sides of the ball. if they do... they have a shot at every game they play . but more poor tackling and slow starts are going to spell a early exit in the playoffs.. which team shows up for now on? the Trickster's of 6 losses , or the magical team that has treated us to 9 fascinating wins.. The chargers have shown they can dominate like they did in that 5-1 run early in the season with wins over the seahawks , bills,jags, and jets . and can win the nail biters like the raiders, ravens and 49ers.. but they also have shown they can lose close games like the cardinals , and chiefs, and get knocked out like what happened n Miami beach.. and be dominated at home like the patriots and broncos at home,, n other words,, the chargers can win and lose games the same way .. so what gives next week
       The chargers will break that trend of losing after a emotional win.. Set the trend. losing after a close win,, will change and they will finish with a 10-6 record, with identical records at home or on the road of 5-3 .. The chargers will use the run to set up the pass and they will pass to take the lead and run the ball late to protect it. It will be a tough game and it will be fun to watch. But I like Rivers with his drive and determination and new found weapons in Inman,Brown ad Oliver to consistently score and keep the chiefs at bay. The Chiefs are having trouble scoring and that will show up again this week. They rely too much on charles and their wide outs have been a no sow most of the year. 
      My prediction is the the chargers will run alot more and they will throw to take the lead and quiet the crowd, while running late to protect it. Its do or die,, the bolts have to pull out all the stops and get that convincing win and head into the playoff tournament with energy and momentum.. I can see the game being a close one , but I can also see dominating win for the chargers because of the weapons on offense and that opportunistic defense.. !!

  First off, all this talk about the San Diego Chargers are staying in San Diego for another year? Ok,,, enough already,, The spano's family has been very charitable and giving to the San Diego community. But all this talk about going to LA. OR TEAMS going to LA , its frustrating for fans?
 Think about it? If fans are always being threatened about leaving , of course they are going to sell tickets to opposing fans for profit,, and why not? Its the American way, don't we all want to make money off of everything or anything g we have,, our houses , our cars our jewelry etc.. No body likes to lose money .. Now my critical thinking process.. How can the spanos like spending more money on a dump we call the Q , with leaking pipes, electrical issues, which was evident on one football,, it was embarassimg to say the least,, The seats are breaking or very uncomfortable the urinals are crowded and smell awful... I see paint peeling of the walls,, in other words,,, its falling apart. Now as a business man,, Wouldn't you want to have a new facility for my self and the players,,, I know they all say the right things , but come on man.. They go to other venues and I know they are jealous and wished they had that  it human nature its common sense.. 
  Now,, it been what 12- 15 years of researching for venues and coming up with a plan? Now is it Escondido , chula vista ,down town San Diego ,miramar, temecula? make a decision,,make a plan and find investors , partners , whether its the NFL, THE LOCAL BUSINESS PARTNERS, of course the Spanos.. and do it now,,, and if your confused or not sure how to go about doing it,, Go ask the team that they play on Saturday night.. Ask them how they did it and take notes!! Enough already,, the fans are pissed and tired of having that tease bit on their heads,, Put it on the ballot and vote on it,, If the people of San Diego,, say no,, My guess they will disapprove it,, We need a new airport and better infrastructure around San Diego county , like roads, bridges, flood control,,, than a stadium that only a small percentage use.. what 60,000 season tickets holders in a county with nearly 2 million people. Just remember this is a sleepy military town with alot of retirees and alot of them are having a hard enough time to pay for housing and food ,, then to spend 100- 1000 bucks a ticket. and besides,, alot of the retirees including myself have come from other places.. Its just the cold hard facts.. The majority of people in San Diego, care about what the city can do fro me... By having this multipurpose arena for a chosen few and have higher taxes,,, good luck on that one? I mean really,, people these days are aways asking , whats in it for me.. ? What better income for hotels and the tourist industry i don't even use? Why should i when I have kids to feed and cars and houses to pay for,, and lets not forget college costs,, and life itself,,, people are strapped and you really want to ask people of San Diego to support a owner that makes 200 million a year , for the past 20 years,, do the math,, he has alot of money.. alot more than the hard working fans,, If he really wants it,, he would develop a plan to get this done, 
 My take,, he's already has a plan made with LA , and they are in the final stages.. because it just makes better sense,,, In the LA market,, you can sell those luxury seats for alot of money. alot of Hollywood stars that would pay outrageous prices just to be at a LA venue and be seen,, be it the rams , raiders or the chargers.. and the stadium doesn't have to be a 60,000 .. seat arena,, it can be smaller and if you have  those pricey luxury boxes,, it can happen..and they is a substantial fan base that live in the surrounding communities i LA who are faithfuls,, people in Orange county , Riverside, and San Diego that would make the trek.. I know the fans of San Diego ,, say never,, it wont happen, but don't you think the raiders or rams , or browns , oilers, Baltimore colts thought their teams would leave. Lets face it owners want to make money,, and besides the SPANOS don't live in San Diego,they could care less if 60 ,000 season holders hate them.. They don't live here anyways.. Just a thought.. everyone , the truth and reality hurts..
   Next this Saturdays game is do or doe for san diego.. they win, they still have chance and if they lose, its over and a disappointing season,, regardless if they finish with a win against the chiefs.. back to back 9-7 seasons is not bad,, but how the chargers started 5-1 has tainted how the fans look at this season.. Its a big game and very winnable,, The 49ers have been struggling on offense and they look defeated , since their coach is a done deal. But we all know how this year has been,, one week a team looks like a super power and the next they look awful.. My take,, Saturday's game is a fight for jobs, for respect and bragging rights,, both teams are prideful teams and they don't want to lose regardless of significance.. The 49ers will give it their best effort and it may be what the chargers need to get ready for the final run for the playoffs,, The chargers have already played the two best teams in the AFC.. now they get to face one of the elites in a down year, but a elite team,,, if the chargers are for real.. they need this win,, if not,, then next years draft cannot come any sooner than we want. This game is a audition tape for alot of players that want to stay on this team.especially the chargers, they need to upgrade this team, and keep players that will play,, I like Mathew's,, but he's not durable and available to play,, and besides,, They are other backs in the draft we can select from.. I hate to say it,, the Mathew's experiment ends.. He had a shaky college career because of injuries and his life in the NFL.. simply followed that trend.. the chargers were hoping.. but that hope is over. its time to part ways.Maybe a change of scenery? Will help him,, but if I'm a owner if a guy cant play in sunny San Diego,, how can he play in cold places like chicago, new england , new york..just a thought?,, maybe a bad team takes a chance,, but is that what Mathew's wants,, to be a bad team with a horrible line..chances are,,, he will be on bench... hurt like the trend continues.. 
  Lastly, 
     Charger fans need to chill for a second.because despite the disappointments,, the chargers have improved,, remember,, the chargers were destroyed by the AJ SMITH AND NERVOUS NORV TURNER REGIME,, those long six years of meddling will take a bit longer than the  2 years of the Mccoy era.. I know the fans are frustrated and so hopeful and wishful for another 14-2 season and playoff run.. Everything takes time,, We just need to surround rivers with better talent on the line and wide outs,, Truth hurts but floyd may be near the end of great career, and Royal,, is to inconsistent to be a solid wide out and keenan is more a possession wide out than a long ball threat,,, Just thoughts for the next years draft,, a long ball threat wide out and a every down running back,,, and of course lineman to protect rivers and another pass rusher or two to get pressure on the apposing QB.. Just thought to live by fans.. Its getting better , we just need to relax and just realize this team is trending up, we just need to give them a chance. ok.. enough of my soap box.. Are the San Diego Chargers Contenders or Pretenders 2014..
  First of off they started 5-1 and the talk of the NFL.. oh how early success spoiled them because after that they went on 3 game losing streak putting them at 5-4 and the talk of the team not making playoffs and what a disappointment this year has become.. Then.. they go on a 3 game winning streak,, putting at 8-4 and then the talk amongst fans is now they have a chance at winning the division, getting a higher seed etc.. especially the next two game were at home.. where they were 5-1 , the only loss a close on to the Chiefs.. But the issue was they played the two top teams in the AFC , BOTH division leaders with future hall of fame qbs.. The Patriots winners of three Superbowl's and the Denver Broncos winners of two with a Superbowl winning quarterback in Peyton Manning. 
  Well , it was time to see if the Chargers are contenders or pretenders?, both games were critical in finding out where the chargers lie..
  MY TAKE.. they were close but yet so far, if anything , it showed the team still needs key players at key positions and of course. That's why those two teams won, they had great starters and they have adequate back ups .. the chargers in other words were out manned, out gunned, out coached.. in every facet of the game.. I know,, the games were close,, maybe, perhaps , but bottom line,, you have to win those games at home, especially when you needed them more than they did, so to speak.. But the chargers were a no show especially on offense.,, Enough of the excuses, missing running backs, missing receiver's ,, hurt qb,, etc., Well guess what? Teams have the same amount of games, pay against professional players and have to deal with the same issues,, Its really true , when it next man up.. The chargers were not up to task, and it showed how far they are from the elites... The charger's still need linemen to protect Rivers and to start up a running game. The Chargers need another running back that is every down and durable,, they also need another pass rusher and perhaps another corner back,, depending if they are staying with flowers.. and maybe its time to look at a younger back up quarterback to groom. Plus we need to add depth to his team , so that when things go wrong they can respond.. Another thing , I feel is needed is a evaluation or a new strength and conditioning program, because it sems this team has been snake bitten .. Just a thought..
  Now are the chargers are configured can they win out.. of course they can.. but will they, it will be a dog fight, because the 49ers ,, are a talented , but injured team, and based on all the rumors about their Head coach,, these guys are now auditioning for the next head coach and their jobs.. If anything this team is more scarier now then earlier in the year. I expect a fight for survival for  both teams,, The chargers have to win out. any loss , it game set match. Can Coach McCoy do it, if he does, then he's a quality and competent coach, if not, then ,, back to drawing board and a full review of all the positions on this team.. I like Frank Reich, but he is no Whisenhunt ,, and it showed,, maybe another year or a intense off season home work program will get him up to speed. The Chargers also need to evaluate the wide receiver coaching staff. It seems alot of the wide outs are not running crisp routes,, and not finding separation. I could be the theory , without the running game , teams are more focused on stopping the passing game,, sure, but I still feel they are not making the cuts and moves I see on other wide outs in the league.. Its tough to say perhaps we need to look for some true play making wide outs instead of just guys making the roster.. 
 This Saturday is do or die and they must win,, and I'm looking forward to seeing if they can assemble a running game of any kind and who other than gates will step up.. ? I like Floyd and royal, then trusting TUTU or rookie unknown,, In man.. if there is a time to stand up or stand out its Saturday night. The defense needs another solid effort if they can keep the score to 2 tds.. that may be enough for the chargers to win on the road, if not then the chargers are doomed to finish this year 8-8, and to be honest a disappointing season, based on how well they started, AT 5-1.. With two close out wins for the season they can do one game better than last year and a successful season , even if they don't make the playoffs, but a loss or two ,, could signify a disappointing season,, and alot of things to review and repair next season through the draft and or free agency. Its all up to the Chargers and the coaching staff to get ready and finish  strong.. The December to remember has been the mantra they have been riding on the past few years, but because of injury , to many of its stars, hardwick, mathews, and now allen.. It seems that magical run they were accustomed to, has not happened , and maybe just maybe the early season success , spoiled their minds into thinking , this is easy, and now with two games remaining,, The question will be answered if the chargers are true contenders or pretenders.. Based on how they have played all year , anything is possible,, and winning  both games are possible,, but because they let too many close games get passed them.. The Cardinals by one point and the Chiefs at home by 3 pts.. could of or should of changed how this season would of ended. By The Chargers have a leader In rivers , and despite the injuries , he will come out to play and will his team to wins and see what happens.. The difference between Contender and Pretender is so close that a missed field goal here or a close loss , could mean the difference between being a contender to pretender. My take, they will finish 10-6 , but the energy to make that happen , will affect how they play in the playoffs if qualified.. Losing all those star players doesn't help , but this is the NFL.. You have to play with what you have.. NFL = NOTHING FOR LOSERS.. no one is feeling sorry for any team at this time of the year.. Win out , Chargers and hope other lose , and your in... but lose even just one game ,, and its wait till next year.. This Saturday's game with the 49ers ,, could be the game that decides how the rest of season ends.. A win,, sets them up for a great season finale with the Chiefs,, , a loss could set up a melo dramatic finish to a season with many hopes and desires.. If anything ,, This team has played their hearts out this year and we find out how much heart and desire they have the rest of the way .. It can set up a enthusiastic finish to the season and great anticipation for the next years NFL draft and the assemblage of a championship team for the future. Contender or Pretender ,, its up  to what happens in the next two weeks ,, and as charger fans await,, This could be a December to remember with a strong finish and a chance in playoffs. What do you think? I think they have the leaders and play makers to make it happen, and lets see if they have the same belief , the charger faithful,,.. feel.. Contender or Pretender , the answer will surface Saturdays night Dec 20, 2014... and I can't wait.. ??

This is a toss up gam?I'm sliding towards the home team , but don't expect good football this Thursday night.. Might be better served to watch a old movie.. 
SATURDAY 
EAGLES(9-5) AT REDSKINS(3-11)The Eagles had a tough loss at home and they are angry about it., Its nice to see RGIII back, but I don't expect him to keep up with the eagles. The eagles will bounce back and show why they are true contenders. 
CHARGERS(8-6) AT 49ERS(7-7)Both teams are on losing streaks and both have injuries issues on both sides of the ball. Rivers is hurting and doesn't have the running game to help him out and losing their top wide out will cause issues. If in doubt use your hall of famer Antonio gates. I expect rivers looking or even forcing things to him this game.. No choice , if both defenses show up and play well. this will be a low scoring slug fest. But I like rivers making enough plays to earn a close , nail biting him on the road. 
SUNDAY 
VIKINGS(6-8) AT DOLPHINS(7-7)Both teams coming of losses and both teams have showed glimpses of greatness this year. I just feel the dolphins defense is a tad bit better and will make some plays and gives the fins offense chances for quick scores. Tannehill just needs to settle down and get it to his play makers so he can treat the hometown crowd to a nice win!!
RAVENS(9-5) AT TEXANS(7-7)The Ravens are in the drivers seat as the 6th seed in the playoffs.They play really well at home , but on the road they can be beat, The Texans are tough at home and are eager to stay in the race. They need to feed foster and that running game and keep this game low scoring and reachable The ravens are eager to close out the season with a dominating win. They will make this a exciting game, but The Texas defense will create opportunities early and late for the offense to take advantage of. My upset special for the  week..
LIONS(10-4) AT BEARS(5-9)Its hard to pick the bears , they just  play awful football, and they look confused. and because of the turmoil and infighting , I don't see them pulling out a win against a very good football team. The Lions are primed and ready for their first playoff run in years and they have the means and opportunity to make it happen... 
BROWNS(7-7) AT PANTHERS(5-8)-The Johnny football show comes into play this week, Its hard to pick the browns based on how awful they played offensively and defensively , and on the road against a playoff contending team.. Its hard to pick them , No Cam Newton , is not a bad thing , I feel the panthers just have enough to hold off the struggling and fading browns.. Johnny footfall will once again struggle and realize NFL is more than just talent and skills,, it's what you do Monday- friday to prepare.. Preparation or lack of,, is what the Johnny football will realize...Easy win for the Panthers..
FALCONS(5-9) AT SAINTS(6-8)-The Drew Brees show is coming and they looked primed and ready to win this game and win the division. This could be a high scoring shootout , but the Falcons just make too many mental mistakes that lead to turnovers and penalties.. How amazing a 8-8 or worse record can be a division champ.. But its going to happen.. !
PACKERS(10-4) AT BUCANNEERS(2-12)The Packers were humbled last week,  and NOW get to get back on track against a  bad team. The Bucs are in the running for Mariota in next years draft and they will not fight to hard to ruin that.? But it may be their choice because the Packers are just too talented and good to lose against them. But you never know , but i doubt it. !
CHIEFS(8-6) AT STEELERS(9-5)- The Battle of two teams that have about the same defense and offenses that can score . But at home it s hard to pick against the stealer's, but its not the same stealer defense of yesteryear. This could be shootout and I trust Big Ben over San Diego raised Alex Smith. The Chiefs rely too much on Jamal Charles and because of that I see the steelers stopping him and having a easy win at home.. 
PATRIOTS(11-3) AT JETS (3-11)- The Brady bunch are on a roll and perhaps the best team in the AFC , next to the broncos.. The Jets are so inconsistent and hurt , its hard to expect them to beat the patriots at home. Brady and the patriots and that home field advantage and if they get it. I find it hard for any AFC team to beat them including the broncos.. The Pats have enough defense to win the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP AND FACE THE SEAHAWKS IN THE SUPERBOWL, ,MY WEEK 16 PICK..
GIANTS(5-9) AT RAMS (6-8)ELI has had one of his worst seasons ever,and the rams have been the biggest surprise this year. This team has all the tools and players in place, excect a franchise QB. Sam Bradford has to be excited for next year,, Lets hope he stays healthy , as they Will be a force to reckon with for years to come. 
BILLS(8-6) AT RAIDERS(2-12)The Bills are coming off a upset win over the packers, now they travel cross country to play the lowly raiders, the raiders were blown out twice in a  row after a nail biting win at home. Will they show up this week? My take they will play hard , but the Bills are true contenders and play like one as they fight for the last play off spot. 
COLTS(10-4) AT COWBOYS(10-4)-The Colts are one the Best offensive teams in the AFC , but big issues is their defense, but the cowboys are the same issues, losing Murray is big deal , that means more romo , which could spell doom for the cowboys,, For whatever reason the boys are average at home and 7-0 on the road, Go figure? This could be a shootout , and if that's case, expect romo doing his turnover thing late in the game.. 
SUNDAY NIGHT 
SEAHAWKS(10-4) AT CARDINALS(11-3)- The seahwaks are peaking at the right time, and lets face it, this defense is better than last years, the offense is clicking again and don't be surprised if the hawks win easily, the cardinals are amazing despite not having that star QB, but that ends this Sunday and we will see who is the real threat in the NFC. Wilson and Lynch are doing the right things and playing extremely well. When your defense holds team to 7 pts , per game,, Its easy to play hard and confident on offense.. As of week 16. The seahawks are the best team in the NFC and they will show the world why? A dominating and solid win !!
MONDAY NIGHT 
BRONCOS(11-3)AT BENGALS(9-4)The Broncos are the second best team in the  AFC, and now they play the unpredictable Bengal's.. If there is a time for the Bengal's to make a statement its now or never. The broncos have looked beatable the last part of the season, but they find ways to win. I feel the Bengals are up to the task and they will make enough plays to pull out a Monday might upset special. The Broncos are running more because i feel Manning is hurt more than they say. He just doesn't look right , and having ankle and chest issues, along with age,, its been a long season. The broncos may concede the home field advantage to ensure manning is healthy and ready for the playoffs..These are my picks.. !!

  Well Congratulation's to the AFC Western Division Champions for the 4th year in a row. Wow it amazing how time flies,Its only seems like yesterday when it was the Chargers winning the division.. But that was then and this is now.. 
  Now, the low down. The broncos despite not playing their best game,, They still find a way to win , And folks, that's what a championship team does. They find and grind and will themselves when those days they don't have everything going. The Broncos , are using a different formula this year.. last year they were lights out , scoring at will, But now they are slowing the game down, and using the running game.. and winning games,, maybe not artistic, but they are winning.. It could work this year ,but they have to meet the Brady bunch in New England,, which could be a war of wills and skills come this playoff season.
 Now the Chargers? What can you say..anymore. its been two weeks that have held two of Best teams to low scores at home,, and cant win.. My take,, if they cant win at home even after holding them to low scores,,How are they going to beat them on the road ,, ? Just a thought and another sobering thought is What happened to the Chargers offense.. I mean,, now they have a championship defense mm now it the offense that is struggling , Can this team ever get it right at the same time? Lets hope so,, ? The final two weeks will decide if they are really contenders or just a inconsistent team that can't play with the big boys.. These last two weeks at home against the AFC'S best was a test,, My grade is that get C grades. I mean, its great they played very good defense , but really a wasted effort because at home they could not out score those two elites.. What does that mean? My take, the chargers are good , but not good enough,, in all phases on the game.. Coaching , game planning , and in game adjustments.. They need to keep it simple .. But it seems they want to incorporate too many ideas , a=which end up producing nothing.. The Chargers are a good team, they are a contending team,, and if or when they get that offense going ,, now that the defense is healthy and strong. This team can do damage.. But until we see it.. soon, the season is on the line this Saturday.. and to be honest,, they need to keep things simple,, ad just get the ball to their play makers,, which are gates, Floyd,, and Branden Oliver,,.. now that Allen is hurt, it means more passes to gates and floyd.. if need be,, force it to them.. because... its crunch time and the true contender will prevail.. I feel the chargers are out thinking themselves, and they should just depend on those guys that got them there.. gates is beast and keep feeding him until they stop him.. Its a common technique.. you do want you can and as long s you can, until they stop you.. Keep it simple chargers. Impose your will. and let the defense do their magic ,, There's no time to panic. its time to wake up and step up and show on prime time this Saturday.. That the chargers are contenders that can do things. I know the fans are frustrated and upset about the last two weeks, but sometimes you need failure to realize your full potential and this team has shown they can beat good teams like the sea hawks or bills or ravens on the road.. Now its time to finish the season against two good teams that had issues this year because of injuries and mistakes on the field.. But they will come to fight and if the chargers want a longer season they must win out and hope the Ravens take one loss against the Texans or browns.. 
 My final take on this game was, the chargers had opportunities , but failed to execute them , and they also need to have faith in the running game because they were too predictable and impatient with both the running and passing game. The defense played well enough to win, but the offense was a no show and special teams.. was really disappointing missing two field goals,, You cant leave points off the board against elite teams,. and you can;t squander scoring opportunities lie they did,, But those are lessons learned and I expect a heck of a game on Saturday against the 5 time SUPERBOWL CHAMPION 49ers,, I know they are upset , angry and very prideful team tat will come out and fight for their coach and image. This Will be a true test of character for both teams.. For the Chargers it means staying alive in the playoff race making the final game at Kansas City a true finale.. While the 49ers . are just trying to finish strong with a winning record.. The chargers had their destiny in their hands before the 2 game home stand, but blew it by losing both games.. Now the cardiac chargers are going to fight to win out and get that 10-6 record and hope other teams lose .. Not a great scenario , but it is what it is.. !! If anything this team doesn't quit , and those back ups that need to step up because of injuries,, Need to step up and lead the way. Because like usual, the chargers are making a late season run, that they thought they didn't need to do because of their fast start. But as tradition or trend's have it.. They are again on the ropes and need to bounce back and fight to the end.. and to be honest , Its the way it should be and it will be exciting either way it goes. But I'm sure the chargers and Rivers will make a great showing and finally display the offense we have been enjoying this year. But they must stay patient and wait for their chances and when it happens strike first and hard and bring home that victory , so the final game of the year is truly a season finale with playoff implications. oh how I love this time of the year.. CARDINAL(10-3)AT RAMS(6-7) Both teams are the same exact 3-3 records , that is cardinals lose on the road and the rams are better on the road than at home. The cardinals are not the same without Carson Palmer. The rams.. are a very talented team especially on defense. I predict a upset win for the rams because their defense is tremendous and I feel the offense will make enough plays to win a low scoring game at home. 
SUNDAY 
STEELERS (8-5)AT FALCONS (5-8)Both teams have horrible defenses and both teams can score , The Falcons scored easily and often against the packers , but the defense failed them early and often too. The Steelers are the 5th seed an a wild card entry, but I don't trust them on the road with a team that still has a shot of winning the division. The crowd noise , on the road ,, maybe trip up the steelers and I see another upset special this week.
REDSKINS (3-10) AT GIANTS(4-9)- The redskins give up alot of points and don't score alot. The Giants score alot but give up alot too. At home I see the Giants winning, but I wouldn't be surprised if the redskins upset the Giants. This is really a toss up game. But I will give the nod to Eli and the Giants defense stepping up to protect the lead the giants create.
DOLPHINS(7-6) AT PATRIOTS(10-3)-The Patriots are a perfect 6-0 at home and they can score alot of points. Both defense are about the same , but The Pats are just too good and consistent to lose against a very inconsistent doplhins team. Its a division game so anything is possible , but the Patriots are just playing better right now , I see the Patriots in a easy win at home. The brady bunch have a big day at home..
RAIDERS ( 2-11)AT CHIEFS(7-6) The raiders are win less on the road and they have trouble scoring, the Chiefs are 4-2 at home and they struggled lately.. Perfect time, the divisions worst defense plays one the divisions dangerous offense, Stop Jamaal The Chiefs lose, but I feel Smith and company will get it together and I just don't trust the raiders after a emotional win.. The last win against the chiefs,, the following week laid an egg and lost 52-0 .. 
TEXANS(7-6) AT COLTS(9-4)Both teams are on a winning streak , but the Colts have a much better offense and at home I see them really having a great time. Look for Luck and Hilton having a big day. JJ WATT is good but not enough to beat one of the best offenses in the AFC. 
JAGUARS(2-11) AT RAVENS(8-5)The Jaguars like the Raiders are win less on the road and against a very good offensive and defensive team , I see the ravens having a big day. Flacco is playing well and the defense is making strides , the jags are too  inconsistent and don't have the play makers to stay up with or keep pace with the Ravens at home. 
PACKERS(10-3) AT BILLS(7-6)The Packers are undefeated at home but 3-3 on the road , they score alot because they give up alot of points. The Bills don't score alot but they have a much better defense. But The Packers are on a 5 game winning streak and still look dominating, but if the Bills can keep the score down and are in it in the 4th quarter they can possibly give the packers another road loss. But Aaron Rodger is playing so well and the Bills have not,, lately. The Packers in a easy road win.
BUCS (2-11)AT PANTHERS ((4-8-1)The bucs are on a 3 game losing streak and are 0-6 on the road, they have a lousy defense and the Panthers are coming off a blow out win against the saints, bu the issue is cam newton was in a car accident and wont play this week. In comes Derek Anderson, for a game or two it might work, Both teams give up alot of points , but the Panthers can score if they are ready to play. They will play fired up football in honor of cam newton and fight on for that unreal chance to win the division despite a 4-8 record? 
BENGALS(8-4-1 )AT BROWNS((7-6)Both teams on a losing streak and both have similar stats in offense and defense, but here's come johnny manziel.. will it spark the browns..? Time will tell, its hard to game plan against someones you haven't seen, The Bengals will be tested , at home the Browns are pretty good the Bengal's are a question mark, one week they look great the next the are horrible , both teams are due for a win and a break out game.. Its like a play off game,,Andy Dalton under pressure,. might be the x factor,, johnny needs to play error free football and take what they give you,. As much as I would like to pick the rookie, I still think the Bengals are a better team but its a toss up game , it wouldn't shock me if the browns pull it out.. But I feel the experience and coaching will be the difference despite the Marvin Lewis comments.. 
JETS (2-11)AT TITANS (2-11)Another toss up game the titans are 1-6 at home and the Jets are winless on the road . Both teams give up alot of points and both need a qback.. who wins.? Something has to give , I feel the Jets have a little bit better defense and a better qb. but once again I wouldn't be surprised if the titans win this one, But don't expect alot of highlights inn this game. It might be one of the worst match ups this week. The Battle of the losers,, 
BRONCOS (10-3)AT CHARGERS(8-5)The Broncos are perfect at home but 3-3 on the road, if your going to beat them , this is the chargers chance, Both defense are statistically the same , but the broncos are much better on offense, they have a better passing and running game and now with the special teams issues with the chargers ,, expect a different approach by the chargers. Rivers struggled last week against a similar defense , but the charger defense stepped up. They will need another effort like that and the offense needs to get back on track. The chargers will pass to set up the run, and take the lead like they did against the patriots, the difference this time, is the chargers will keep running in the 2nd half and protect a lead and stay in wild card race in the number 6 spot!! 
VIKINGS(6-7)AT LIONS((9-4)Both teams are riding 2 game winning streaks but the Lions are undefeated against division foes , while the vikings are win less. The Lions are primed for the playoffs and at home I see Stafford and megatron as well as that defense playing strong enough to get to 10 wins.. This could be the truly Cinderella team if they continue playing well on defense.... 
49ERS(7-6) AT SEAHAWKS ((9-4)The 49ers are fading fast after a embarrassing loss to the Raiders , now they have to travel to Seattle and face the 3 game winning streak sea hawks,, both defenses are playing well.But the sea hawks have a better offense and attitude right now. It will be fight , but The Seahawks are primed for the playoffs and just have too many things going well for them. The Niners are not scoring enough to win games at home or on the road. It will be loud and difficult for the niners as the losing streaks continues for another week. Wilson will control the game and pace and earn a easy win at home. 
SUNDAY NIGHT 
COWBOYS(9-4) AT EAGLES (9-4)Go figure the boys are 6-0 on the road and the eagles are 6-1 , both defenses are about the same, but that fast paced offense with the crowd noise will help Sanchez and company to a nice win at home, The boys are good but on the road warriors finally met their match and the eagles offense will just be too much for the boys especially if they take the lead early in the game. 
MONDAY NIGHT 
SAINTS(5-8) AT BEARS (5-8)The battle of the worst defenses in the league, both teams are on losing streaks and both have been a dissapointnent this year. But the saints if they can pull off a win on the road , be right back in the division race. But turnovers and penalties have hurt both teams.. truly a toss up game and hard to pick. Bree's is the better qb and have a great tight end, but they just haven't played consistent football. Will this be the night, I think they get back on track and fight for a win against the struggling bears. The bears give up alot of points and Bree's has the talent to run up the score.. Unless is snows , it could be a different result, but I see the Saints playing fired up football and get back in the race. 
This has been a unusual year but I still have a chance of 150 wins season for the 4th year in a row,, Now the hard part is picking the playoff winners and Superbowl winners.. Right now,, I see a patriots vs packers Superbowl,, Brady vs Rodgers.. with broncos vs. packers being my next pick.. But how this year has gone.. Am eagles vs. chargers Superbowl.. a battle of no Superbowl wins.. ? Why not,, doubt it, but its been that kind of year..

                 THE BILL COSBY CASE... 
 First of all I loved Bill Cosby , during my lifetime and now this? Ok .. I'm not questioning these woman,, I mean abuse or alleged abuse is a serious issue, But my take is if if was that traumatic , or as one lady said it ruined her life .. Then why didn't you tell someone , report it then?? Just saying , I mean.. Sure he;s a Icon, sure your were young and naive and often times our impulses our feelings when we were young were hard to explain. Didn't we all do things we regretted later in life.. Its called growing up, it called growing pains, its called learning from mistakes,, I mean,, I just saying waiting 30 years later ,, makes no sense to me,, other than money,,, But I don't want to feel insensitive , but its my back ground,, I;m a Military back ground law enforcement , hard nosed educated person with non traditional views with a spirit of patriotism and supporting your local community. 
 Now if I was Bill Cosby and I had nothing to hide and if I have integrity and believe I'm Innocent, I would challenge those woman on all charges,, to really put the fire out. I mean I'm a emotional and proud person and someone accused of me of something I would want to clear my name , my reputation , immediately,, But having a lawyer.. speak law talk.. Perception.. is " he has something to hide.. just saying,, But he can exercise his amendment rights and plead the 5th that's what many veterans have fought and died for,, I'm good with that. But as long as this goes on,, the longer the speculation , the harder it will be to restore your image..

  I'm a veteran and proud American.. Does any one remember how you felt when those plane crashed in to those towers in New York or the plane crashing into the Fields.. recall ? I do , I was stationed in Japan , and we were called into service early in the morning to support our troops overseas and in the USA.. was I scared yes,, was I  pissed off. Yes,, and to this day the lives lost still  upsets me,, so if the CIA, NCIS , etc has to torture to get information,, so be it, because lets face it people,, other nations are doing it  and they can care less about rules and regulation's,, Ok, I now that's barbaric,, but evil says , evil does,, they don't care or care less,, Now if America,, wants to have a secure nation,, they need leaders,, and they need direction.. This is war folks, and whatever it takes to safe guard American lives.. I mean,, whose gonna support you better than your own kind.. As Americans ,you support American values, if your Japanese , etc, you support what you are.. Americans, need to think about Americans and support our country and not worry about what other countries think.. Because they will like you or hate you ,, no matter what,,, America is hated because of its success and those other countries are jealous ,, and no political pondering or what will not change their minds.. The release of the report if anything just weaken and threatened other Americans in other countries who are prisoners, hostages or about to be one.. Its human nature ,, pay back,, so now that's its out,, We have just made it harder to protect americians in the hand of terrorist.. Just my take,, Whatever it takes to take your country's countrymen is my mantra. But now that .. the media wants to share everything.. Its now become a more difficult time to really protect any Americans in foreign lands.. 
         NFL is tough to watch..
  The NFL is a flag football league, I mean,, it seems every game I watch , i;m looking and expecting flags thrown, it really ruins the game and the flow,, but its the truth and it really bothers me.. Another thing that bothers me is that the league supports the traditional suspects,, the patriots, broncos, packers, I mean no issues with that, But didn't seahawks win the superbowl last year and if things roll right they are capable of winning it again,, east coast bias,, yes, I feel its in full effect, But that's ok, what can we do? Right,, Just win Seattle,, represent the west coast,,, if your wondering I used to live in Seattle and I love Pete Carrol's vibe. I'm a Big USC fan,, so that explains my take there,,, another thing that bothers me,, is the Raiders losing,, enough already,, this team has 3 rings,, for goodness sake,, They need to be relevant again, and I see progress coming,,, But I also see the raiders firing their coach and drafting players they don't need,, if the league wants a better league we need to help the raiders become the leagues  hated teams,, sure patriots , cowboys ,are nice to cheer against , but the Raiders are the ultimate team to hate when their winning,, Its time they get their program changed.. Once again ,, my Oakland roots are coming out I once lived there before moving to San Diego,, well anyways,, the league is also being over exposed,, Sunday night , Monday night , Thursday night,, its too much.. in my take,, But it s great way to show the sport to the non sports person,, i mean having games spread out gives you more exposure,, But the games on Thursday's ,.basically suck.. not very competitive,, or exciting,,  The other issue is playing games in Lindon,, Come on man,, putting or placing a team in London is a logistical nightmare... so quit that , because you take away revenue from teams or a fans chance to see their team pay.. If your going to play a outside game,, Try LOS ANGELES,, since that's the new en vogue city,, My take their,, The Rams look like the first team, but don't be surprised if the Chargers slip a fast one,, and jump in, I know San Diego, it can never happen,, think again.
 THE Q is a dump.. bad restrooms, long concession stands.. flooding when it rains and a parking lot that is way too big for security to handle,, that's why I never bring my nice car to game,, Never.. Too many drunks and low life's that think fighting for a team that hasn't won anything. ?? Just saying, Enjoy the chargers , but don't be pissed or upset if they decide to take the deal. I mean a new venue with all the new amenities,, what owner or team wouldn't want that I know the chargers are saying all the right things,, but this is the NFL =the no figure league.. Teams leave,, Baltimore Colts to Indy, Cleveland Browns to Baltimore ravens and win 2 Superbowl's.. The La Rams to St Louis and win a Superbowl.. or the raiders from Oakland to LA and win a Superbowl,, then go back?? The Houston Oilers to Tennessee titans.. etc.. It happens,, so not to scare San Diego, but if the voters don't approve that 2015 measure,, Don't be shocked if they take their act to LA.. its just makes $$ sense and could help them win that elusive Superbowl.. 

      Police reform Protest..
  The protest around the nation is More about police brutality and law enforcement reform.. I get it. Some police abuse their authority,, the key is outside investigations using body cameras and citizens understanding their rights and be respectful. Police are usually good  when we are only human,, people are emotional,, no one wants a ticket or go to jail,, Simple, don't break the law and if you are confronted,, obey their orders, I think its stupid to argue or get feisty with a cop who has a gun and others waiting to assist him if your not compliant..  Its just simple common sense.. Be respectful and obey the laws, white , black, brown , yellow as they call us Asians,, We are humans with feelings and emotions,, but take into account a law enforcement job on a daily basis, going into harms way, accidents , drunks, drug addicts, violent and lewd criminals,, is not a nice atmosphere,, I know many of you would not like to do that job.. Just be thank ful for those that sacrifice their lives for that service to community.. But if a cop is bad remove him from the streets , just like a criminal.. my take is this,, once you Cross the line of law breaking and aggressive acts,, or lewd acts you have lost your right to be treated fairly or live in society,, we have enough people that obey the laws, and we don't need people who dont respect the laws and morals of society,, It sounds mean, but that's why we have schools , parents, clergy and human decency that guides people to do the right thing, But there is always a small percentage that ruins it for everyone else.. so.. Remove the bad apples from law enforcement and remove the criminals from the streets.. Just my take,, 
  These are my takes , and because we live in a free society , we have the right as long it is responsible and shows thought,and just because we disagree it doesn't mean we are less educated or different in logical thinking, we just have different perspectives if anything I want everyone to examine your logic and why to think that way and realize everyone has different values , back ground's and values.. Its important to respect those views and work together to find peace and harmony in society,, if we are to prosper.. if not.. Than the true enemy is each other and based on experience that could lead humanity to a dangerous final act.. Pray for peace and be respectful to all !!

Whats wrong with people ? Inspired by news events..
   It never ceases to amaze me how people react or do in life. Whether its petty crime or vicious murders or drive by shootings road rage.. etc.. Its scary out there, because we all have to go to work , to school , public events etc, but when you hear about fans killing one Another over a football game? or people shooting each other because one took a parking spot or cut you off on the road? It really makes no logical sense other than ,, people are have lost their minds. People have lost touch whats important in life. We have let our animal instincts to overcome logical reasoning and judgment. I know we are humans , its human to be emotional to feel anger to feel hared to feel emotions. Ok.. true , but we also have minds we also have that inner self that can dictate or control your feelings. But I understand emotions,, anyone that has read my blogs or seen me in real life , know fully well I'm a emotional guy,, I cheer and cry when my kids do well OR not.. I laugh when things are funny and I cry when things are sad. But I also know based on life experiences.. we have t go on. Let it go.. so to speak,, was the mantra I learned in Military.. believe me I saw my fair share of death, and dying and injured navy , marines , army and air force personnel. I had to take people to jail, arrest and control fellow military and I also had to listen to the heart aches and pains from lonely and often times mentally ill members. As a great shipmate I would advise them to seek counsel. but any one that served knows that the stigma or getting help for your addictions or illness was to scary for alot of people to face.. In the military we have this alpha male ego, we can kill and not be killed mentality,, In a sense we had to have that thinking. because we were at danger 24/7,, in other words the enemy never sleeps. so we were brainwashed , we were conditioned to be fighters and protectors of each other.. But more times than not it was sad to see some of the people I served with , die from stress, from enemy actions or just plain old depression that led to suicide or drunk driving accidents. To be honest. even to this day.. I still feel sad about those guys, because they were my ship mates , my fellow veteran.. a fellow man.. When you see someone dying , its a look you never forget , and believe me , I have tried everyday to forget those images but it there forever , and as much as I Loved my military career, I wouldn't want my boys to see or feel those traumatic events in their lives.. I know many people are thankful for the many veterans that have served and died , and you should be, because we did things that many people would never imagine doing or want to do. That's why i smile when i see or hear people talk about freedoms and patriotism,, and never served a minute in the military,, I'm not knocking it, it just those that actually served have this bond , only a fellow member can understand the long watches, the working parties , the lonely nights just being together and laughing and talking to relive stress. its something we had to do,, because when we were called to action , we had to respond and have faith in trust in one another, that's why we have the greatest military in the world.. We have a true belief that what we are doing is proper and right and we will die to product our shipmates, marines , soldier's or airman.. We knew we had each others back.. and in today's society, I don't see that in some areas. I see back stabbing, I see hatred, I see inciting of event's that we have no clue what really opened,, But the media ,, not me. but other people in social media , want to incite hatred want to create animosity towards police, towards a race or culture.. if anything, in the  end,, the destruction of the human race will be be caused by mother nature or what. It will be caused by the self made hatred by one another and we will kill one another or our leaders will. If anything that's scary part of life. is that we have leaders around the world that they have the power or button away of ending life itself. I know that's a staggering thought , but it a realistic one, and the way the world is creating so much hate amongst one another and locking up prisoner's in prisons,, and the many others that on the streets,, The enemy in this world isn't someone from Russia , or japan, or the middle east or what the enemy is us.. one another who continue to create hate  for one another. Its easy to hate or spread hate, it takes a stronger mind and heart to be the better person and don't allow emotions to dictate behaviour.. Its a thought to think about on this thoughtful Tuesday,, Be happier to day and smile,, and see the wonders what a smile will do when dealing with people.. Its what I do,, and I want all of you to start doing. It might be a life changing event for you and the others in your life.. Change comes because we want it to happen.. so make it happen !

PATRIOTS VS CHARGERS SUNDAY NIGHT 12/7/14 AFTERMATH

PATRIOTS VS CHARGERS SUNDAY NIGHT GAME 12/7/14 AFTERMATH..
  Final score 23-14. Patriots win a very pivotal game where home field advantage could be the telling stat as they make their run for the SUPERBOWL.. It was close game for 30 minutes , but after halftime,,It was all Patriots.. for the next 30 minutes , forget about the score or how it looked, The patriots were dominating the chargers. on offense and defense, what saved the score was a pivotal pick by teo.. about time? I give credit for the chargers , but credit doesn't score points or win games,, Moral victories, that crap doesn't exit in youth sports , so don't tell me that in professional sports.. In the Pro game,, You play to win the game,,, and that's where i have issues with Coach McCoy,.
 Issue one; Why did you abandon the running game with Mathews? The Chargers were getting yards and moving the ball effectively. ? You don't trust him,, he might fumble or worse yet get injured,, If that's the case why bother with him? I mean,, If your afraid to do something , your playing into Bhecks strategy.. which is make you doubt your strengths and fear your weaknesses.. He succeeded on both accounts. Because you failed to use the work horse for whatever reason,,, fumbling issues or injury concerns,. Makes no sense,, if something is working stay with it. But I feel you guys panicked and thought or out thought one another. Because the lack of running in the second half, led to no points and a inability to move the ball.. Unless your saving Mathew's for the playoffs ,but by losing games now,, may hurt you or even hinder you from making the playoffs.. so the saving idea is a faulty one at best.. ??
 Next issues,, The play calling or lack of it.. I hate to say it,, I see alot of nervous norv turner play calling and I hated his style.. Why repeat the same running plays when they are so predictable.. in other words, I see a lack of creativity and not using the personnel properly,, The chargers have tremendous play makers on the offense, but at times,, like last night,, I saw a very bland attack ??
 Why? Because you fear showing all your cards before the end of the season,, or saving some plays for the playoffs,, Well once again,, your falling into the bcheck mind set.. He psyched you out.. If your so concerned about showing it all, then your afraid to try or show new things,, For example the fake punt weddle pulled off was brilliant, even though you were upset.. Sometimes,, in games. you cant just go with the trends, or what the expected outcome ,, sometimes, you need to trust your guts your qb,, your line,, based n what I'm seeing,, you have no faith in the line and no faith in your qb.. when your home,, you have to be gutsy,, and confident because your home,, the  last quarter with some 6 minutes left.. what did you do?
 You punted with a back up punter,, 6 minutes left,, in Baltimore you let rivers go and they came back to win,, but last night you decided  to punt and the story was simple,, Brady ran out the clock and we never had a chance to make a comeback,.. poor decision,, based on,, you have to give your team a chance to make a comeback,.. I know if you fail you give them great field position and may even score,, but if your logic is to keep the score reasonable,, but not giving your team a chance to win,, that's even a more twisted and inaccurate choice.. I;m not saying the team would of came back,, but you have to let them try,, but you elected to play the odds, the trends , the so called play it by the book,, sorry Coach, charger fans saw that in norv tuner,, and it was the longest 3 years of losing this team had to endure=.. Lets face it,, Rivers is getting old, and may have what,, 4- 6 years left,, maybe if he survives all the hist he has taken.. But not trying to win at home was disturbing,, 
 My last issue was in game adjustments were not effective, when something is not working you have to stick with what got you there,, gates and Allen are the play makers, the play shakers,, it seems after the Floyd td catch.. the offense never got going again.. and whats sad, or disappointing,, the chargers wasted a great defensive effort.. What a shame,, especially at home, you have to win games like that of your a true contender.. But it seems , fear, indecisiveness constructed the play calling.. My take I lose my ace punter , who gave you great field position.. then the play calling had to adjust,, make third downs,, run the ball , create some dominance,, like the patriots did,, if may have not shown up on the score board, but they used the clock and ran the ball and basically imposed their will. Sure it was close game,, but the patriots ruled the line of scrimmage , and time of possession and finally made that one big plat to seal the deal.. Its like boxing,, you jab, and hit and cover,, and just wait for the opening,, because lack of focus, boredom, or just wearing out,, you will have a chance for a knockout,, and that's what happened, late in the 4th quarter.. they finally broke through and that td score to edelman,, was th nail in the coffin. the game was over,, and the chargers never recovered with any fight to game plan.. if anything , it should of fired the bolts up to regain the lead, but all I saw was conservative play calling and a qb who was making poor decision's and very inaccurate,, maybe the rib injury, maybe the scope of the event or what but Rivers was not rivers that night.. If anything he look frazzled and confused and his play dictated that.. 
 As for the defense, great job,, but holding Brady the whole night was not going to happen, and when he found the hole or mistake he took advantage of it. that's what big time players do under the pressure scenario.. Rivers didnt not respond and because of that he is now 0-6 against Brady,, and I know,, its just the regular season, by but the same deal happens in the playoffs too, 
 But the bolts can control their destiny,, they need to win,,, win out if possible or 2 out of 3,, The ravens have a easier schedule and odds makers are picking them at the 6th and final spot for the playoffs, but the chargers have no one to blame except themselves,, Broncos , 49ers and Chiefs,, all possible wins,, but all possible losses if they don't play well.. 
  Bottom line ; the chargers are in control of their own destiny,, win all 3 I believe that are in no matter what the ravens do because the chargers own the tie breaker, start to lose, then complications can occur.. the defense is playing championship football and the offense is inconsistent. Whatever happens, you know the chargers are going to make it dramatic.. but of they really want to be contenders,, they must be consistent and be ready for everything. The chargers have the talent if no one gets hurt, but the Coach has to do a better job to be in the position to win the game, Punting with less than 6 minutes and 9 points down doesn't seem like a realistic way to win.. The chargers have another test on Sunday and ,, should they prevail with a win, the bolts continue on , but another loss at home with road games against winning teams may be too much for these chargers. If the chargers truly want to make December a month to remember, then next Sunday against the broncos is their chance to make a statement and final run to the playoffs.. Like I said earlier the chargers are in control of their own destiny,, win out they are in.. anything less could be a mathematical equation that may need enormous computation and evaluation which may not help their cause.. 
 As for the Patriots, I feel thy are set to have home field advantage and  cause all AFC teams to come to their house to play for the championship. and based on past experience, Brady bunch will not let any team beat them at home and because of that.. They will go onto to the Superbowl and face the other power house in the NFL.. that is Aaron Rodgers and the Green bay packers,, who are the originals,, that may bring the Lombardi trophy home.. Its been a crazy year, and why not? I mean why not the two most respected or hated franchises in NFL history , come together and make history,, NFL is really the NO FIGURE LEAGUE,, and the way its going,, I wouldn't be surprised the wild card steelers go on to face the another paced offense like the eagles,,,, I know not possible , but its been that kind of year and I wouldn't be shocked by any match up... ?

  True Champion vs True Challenger, both teams have histories, One has been the most consistent winner and a model of great coaching , and players playing their best and knowing their roles, The Chargers are the ultimate challenger , always playing well, explosive offenses and many times being a spoiler , but haven't reach their ultimate goal?? A SUPER BOWL WIN. , the Air Coryell days, Bobby"THE BOSS"  Ross , The MartyBALL  years , Nervous Norv and now the real Mccoy.. 
 Its time for the San Diego Chargers to put up or shut up? , Its time to make a statement! The Patriots have been so great and or good for so many years. BUT... They had their time,,, Tom Brady is 37 years old and their defense has issues, Revis is good but not great and if you run crossing routes or of hes forced to tackle strong running backs.. That secondary gets worn out. ala losing to the dolphins and chiefs. The patriots learned from that, they decided, to have a more ball control offense and get a running game to slow the game down.( IN OTHER WORDS THEIR BEST DEFENSE IS THEIR OFFENSE!!)  Lets face it Brady doesn't throw long balls anymore ,he;s more of a short and middle passing game to gronk and Bell, and of course he uses everyone in the mix, but if you get Brady off his mark,, pressure will beat Brady , not sacks,, Brady at this stage Of his career doesn't want to take hits, because another injury could be the last one.. Time is running on Brady,, and he knows it.. That's why he had the cursing episode last week,, But that's what a winner does,, he gets angry about losing,, sore loser. of course.. he has great standards and expectations himself and his team.. Their team is primed for another Superbowl run.. Its now or never?!?
  What the patriots Will attempt to do? They will attack the center of the chargers, (challenge him to see how much of the play book he actually knows.??) challenge him and make him fight all night long. They will attempt to take him out ,, they will also put pressure on the star wide outs in gates, allen, floyd and royal.. They will play close and bump and run.. It might be risky (long ball ), but they want the receivers to earn every catch, no free release, especially if rivers has time to throw.. They will run the ball and they will test butler and weddle. if they can handle the Gronk.. This wont be a easy game but expect the patriots to attack the weak points of the chargers which is running the ball , and covering big tight ends.. Mathews and Oliver have fresh legs and havent had heay loads the ast two games, expect a bigger load this week , just to slow the game down and control the clock.. The key is who has the ball the longest and who makes the best use of the time,, TDS over field goals.. Its no use to have the ball 45 minutes  if you dont score tds,,, Brady is a master of scoring beforre the half and of course at the end of the games .. Charger teams and fans know that all to well,,,,,!?!?
 But the ultimate test is how both teams adjust during the game,, that's the key how each team handles each other blitz coverages , how they handle pressure on 3rd downs .. and how they handle what the defense gives them.. Patience and sticking to ones game plan,, mental toughness will win this game and of course being smart!!!This will be a battle of field position and who makes the least mental mistakes,, Turnovers could be the difference, the last 5 times they have met turnovers has played a key and that why the chargers ar3 0-5. Its really a test of whose the true champion and who is the contender.. I know its only another game, but its  a game with one the games best coach , leagues best qb in the clutch and a mindset that is arrogant and proud. The Patriots not only think they can beat you , they make you feel like that too. The key Sunday night is have those young guns for the chargers, mathews, allen , royal and oliver, show their grit and desire and ensure their vets like gates and floyd, weddle,flowers .. stay focused and have that desire to overcome all those years of losing to the patriots. Its no doubt the chargers have the talent and skill, now ts the time to break out and finally declare themselves as true championship material.. The chargers beat the champs earlier this year in the seahawks , and the ravens are no push overs either, now its time to beat the patriots at home( PROTECT THE HOUSE !!) and finally break through the invisible line that separates you from contender and champion. I know the Chargers have champion hearts, now they must show they have a champion mindset and vision. The old saying ,in order to be champ , you have to beat the champ.. is ever so evident in this game.. Coach B, knows this is important game to win , to set them up for the rest of the year. The Patriots normally  don't lose two in  a row and normally don't get beat with their own formula..But the Chargers will surely adapt those strategies in beating the patriots ,but the bottom line is the big uglies on the offense and defensive lines.. Who ever has the dominating day ?, controlling that line?, is the team that will prevail. Its gonna be a battle of wits and skills and who holds up under the lights. 
For Brady and rivers they both know the clock is ticking on their legacy, Brady has established reputation as winner( 3 rings!) and clutch player. Rivers is in his Prime and wants that title.. If not now,, when? The clock is ticking and because of that , this Sunday match up may be one of the best games of the year and could decide who is ready to make that final run? ! Something has to give, Brady's or River's unreal December and January win records will be on the line .. Plus the final mental edge for the playoffs,,, A loss by either team at this stage , will deflate their pride and ego's and also put pressure on both their seeding placement. But a win, can direct one team in the final right direction for that playoff run. Like last weeks game between the patriots and packers was SUPERBOWL PREVIEW,, SUNDAYS game could be a preview of the AFC championship game... I know its only one game, but its  a game against legacy. against trends, against mindsets. The winner in my view is set to represent the AFC AND truly have  a shot a SUPERBOWL WIN.. The loser Will still remain in the playoff race , but they will have a tougher hill to climb.. Its a true match up of Champion vs Contender.. The NFL poster boys vs the nfl doormats. Brady the ultimate player vs. Rivers the ultimate underdog.. Sure its only a game,, but in the big picture scenario.. This is a separating or defining of a team of destiny and the that's the way both these teams will fight and decide who is ready to fight for the Lombardi trophy during the most unpredictable year ever in the NFL.. Based on that , the football Gods may be smiling on the most unpredictable, most snake bitten , cursed team in NFL history , in the chargers, who else is worthy of winning the big game? , if there is a year this it it.. Every week it seems one team loses when you don't expect it and one team wins one that should of lost and some teams just bewilders us all year long.. 
  I expect a tough , high scoring game with both teams making alot of plays, the final point or turning point will be who makes the least mistakes and who does better in the red zones.. Expect both teams to give one another their best and expect a Sunday night thriller. But remember football is a mental and psychological game, the chargers have nothing to lose , I mean they have been losing most of their history,, But the Patriots have alot to lose.. home field advantage, the image and perceptions of the league and perhaps the last hurrah of their qb.. Tom Brady.. NFL = NO FAIR LEAGUE.. as great as he has been, but you cant fight father time and mother nature.. He's a bit slower, weaker and less patient with what he wants.. he wants a another shot at A SUPERBOWL..and because of that this Sunday will be a true display of all he has and a loss will deflate him faster than old football, But a win,, will propel them to that ultimate goal,, THE SUPERBOWL... I expect a war and the NFL fans are in for a treat , Are you ready ? I know the patriots and chargers fans are eager to see what their teams are capable of and by all indicators, we have a great match up of two very good teams ready to make the next step up? THE stats , the legacies and the images of the patriots is almost a slam dunk win for them,, But that's why they play the games, because some things cant be measured like , heart , desire , and mental toughness and togetherness. Come Sunday night , THE NFL = THE NO FIGURE LEAGUE could very well see the PREVIEW OF THE NEXT SUPERBOWL CHAMPION !
