  Hi Everyone , my blog today is simple , Take time out for things you like to do, whether its a daily ritual or a weekend warrior deal or a after the work or after school hobby. AS FOR Me I"M BUSY with school , work , family time .. and life in general. But I try to make time for myself every day or night. Now what do I mean,, I say I like to just think about what went on today and what did i learn good or bad.. and what I need to avoid such issues in the future, I also take time to talk to my kids as how they are doing and what happened in their lives , and did they learn anything ,, and I do the same with wifey. Its my way to unwind and vent or whatever. We all need time for ourselves , even for a few minutes because we all need to unwind every day. I believe you will feel better and sleep better, and for me I need quality of sleep than amount. Because like you there seems to be never enough time to just do anything in life. But one thing is for sure , making time to see friends can be adventure , for me,, because when i see friends I get long winded and like to tell stories about my life and how I learned about those experiences. I like to speak to my younger friends , because once upon a time I was in the Navy for 6 years or 8 years and I recall those days. I like to educate I like to teach and advise if asked too.Its the same with family , friends , classmates ,shipmates.. Its a passion I feel in my heart ad I love to help people, even strangers. I see someone pulled over and looking helpless I and my wife like to assist them. I have a portable battery charger or jump starter that requires no other car to power up a car and the looks and gratitude I get when i help people is priceless. Then I say you invest 60 dollars or less depending where you go , you can have peace of mind with a portable jump starter power supply. I feel everyone should have that in the car for the unexpected power drain.. Especially now in the heat of the summer.. Batteries get drained because of heat, air conditioning , loud powerful radios/// recharging cell phones etc.. It can put a tremendous strain on a cars battery.. and lesson learned if the battery gets to 4-5 years it may be time to replace.. I know it may cost 75-100 dollars for some cars , but if you get stranded , how much will a tow cost , and worst yet your safety.. you may not be in the best places.. and look at the time wasted waiting for a tow and then waiting for a battery install ,, etc.. Its better to prevent if you can about things that can or will happen.. My thinking is, if i can avoid such scenarios , then do it.. its the old saying " You can pay me now or pay me later and often times paying later means paying more for something that could of been taken care of at a earlier time. Okay.. The moral to this blog is simple.. Take time for yourself and think about what you did today and what you learned and also think about things that need immediate attention... pay the next bill, oil change or battery changes for your cars.. what other things you may need to do around the house,, In other words make a daily tasking and work on them daily , weekly , monthly.. Its keeps you focused. So go out enjoy your day and take time during the day to think about what you need to do,,, and make a list .. That way your focused and driven and if you don't complete what you set out to do,.. Save it for tomorrow's daily tasking list.. In today's fast paced world.. By having a organized tasking list , it keeps you focused on whats important to do in your life.. Have a great day and don't forget to take time for yourself , whether that's exercising , taking to a friend or just kicking back in your back yard, side yard , front or office space or man cave ,, and just chill out and think about your daily activities.. It will be refreshing and good for your mind and spirit.. I know i have so many other things to do in my life, But the old saying , take time to smell the roses,, is so true, just appreciating the birds chirping or a bird flying around or butterflies hovering around a garden.. Those little beauties in life can make your own life seem so wonderful and pleasant.. Have a great day and take time out for yourself for great health for the mind and body!!

Great friends . Inspired by Paul Laquesta .July 25, 2014...
  The other day in beautiful Mission Valley, I always get that place mixed up with fashion Valley or the Horton Plaza Mall Well anyways.. I got to see a old friend , from my Navy days.. We talked we laughed and we spoke about retirement issues. One thing I wanted him to know s that you have to be prepared you have to talk to experts, professionals and be alert fr anything and everything. The most important thing is be knowledgeable be proactive. I'm not saying we all haven't made bad mistakes and poor decisions, its life and most likely we will continue to, but if its something we can control and have some bearing on , Its your finances. Save , save and make your money work as hard as you. I said to him we have worked hard in our lives,, especially navy days.the long deployments, the separations from loved ones and the stress of being in the life.. Had its toll on everyone Some of us handled it well and transitioned into civilian life , while others are or still struggling with life issues. But that's life,, we all will have ups and downs about life.. family , health , finances. its the ones that find solutions or work hard to achieve their goals in life that makes you happy and successful. I know I'm working hard to complete my degree and excel in my new venture in life , but at least I'm trying and that's what I wanted to share with Paul, relax enjoy the time , but also plan for what you want and need to do for the rest of your life and that's where I want to fit in , I want to advise , guide and help him make informed decisions,, to me that's a true friend and as a professional finance rep I want to be there to assist him when the need or desire takes place. I know one thing sharing the ideas and wisdom with family is a wonderful and great feeling. I know Paul is happy I shared many thoughts and ideas with him and the friendship and bond we have will carry through for the upcoming years to come. I want him to feel free to let his family , friends and co workers know that I can be help him with any advice and tips about navy , retirement plans and savings plans,, Because I shared with him what i have done with myself and family. Life is a journey and its hard to go at it alone , but knowing he has a trusted friend that will look out for him will make him more comfortable when the time and need comes into play. Thank you Paul for letting me share the tips and techniques I'm using to provide  protection , safety , growth and peace of mind for myself and family. Time keeps marching on and all of us need protection from the unexpected. Because should that event or day come when you get hurt , get sick or worse case die , at least the people you love will have the resources to carry on and enjoy the life we all want for our family , friends and coworkers.. The saddest part in life is when something happens and you don't have the resources or protection we should of had , if we just planned better. Its funny we all know to make and spend money,, by saving for the future ,, its a lost art and I hope I can reach out and speak to as many people possible  to at least let them know.,, Protection plans and resources ARE out there and we all need to use them , because,, Life is so unpredictable and having that peace of mind is the most important feature I have when it comes to my family financial well being. Its tough to save money for the future  but its tougher to spend money for something like long term care , or disability issues that are expensive. The time is now to prepare for the future and protect ones family , and I'm glad my friend Paul let me explain that and if and when or what ever he does with his future I want to be that friend to at least let him know, I can help his family , just like I helped my own family , its worth a listen, and I'm glad he appreciates what I did. Good luck my friend Paul and have a wonderful life and I'm going to be that trusted friend that will advise when asked and guide you when requested for that information, and for the many readers of my blogs I wish that you take time and speak to someone your trust and seek the wisdom and knowledge many informed people are taking advantage of. Mother nature doesn't mess around July 21, 2014.. A tribute to my friend.. PAT...
   Its been awhile since the sensitive , sentimental side has written anything about my life.. I have gone through a career change , friends changes , life changes.. Its weird how when you get successful and or doing well.. Or appear to be,, some people , including family or friend can get jealous? envious..or what ok,, thats not the topic.
   Today , I witnessed a true and fitting tribute for a Mama , or like all mama's that love their kids.. Whats so sad is that , One day you can be happy and the next you can be gone.I know the feeling many  years , and tears ago.. I spent the best 30 days of leave - vacation with my mama before transferring to Japan.. Then months later I get the call mama is sick.. I rush home and before I can say good bye , she's gone.. That's tough , That's father time, that's mother nature saying.. I wait on no one,, When its your time and such. I'm taking you. I know when that happened I was angry for years,, at my family  at the doctors, the nurses , the navy the world.. I was shocked and I was hurt. I mean , I didn't get to say good bye.. But you know what..?? I learned that never wait to say" I love you mama" , or papa , or sister or whoever you love.. Because that might be the last time you see them.. I know it sounds to corny or what> Buts its true,, disease, sickness , accidents or what can take you life or breath away. That's why its so important to have your affairs ready ,, like funeral expenses , etc. I know my friend is well taken care of , and has a great support group from his family , close friends and navy shipmates. I know I haven't see my friend in years, but hearing his voice and expressing his heartfelt gratitude to my family was very touching and when you have a connection ,, it doesn't matter how long you haven't seen a friend , if theirs or was a relationship.. It never ends.. It was really touching to see how much my friend Pat showed his true emotions for his mama..It made me tear up.. Because I  loved my mama so much.. and when she passed I was heartbroken.. and thanks to my family , friends and navy shipmates I coped with my loss and I became stronger for it. Its a process that is the grieving part and the tears and pains I felt. Never really went away , even today when I hear song or see a place or smell that reminds me of my mama..I tear up,, and sometimes I just reflect back to those wonderful times laughing and eating and even drinking with my mama.. She was a sweet and loving person.. Just like Pats Mama and those that were affected and loved her are sure going to miss her smile and laughter, but if theirs one piece of advice I can give to the family. Just go with the flow.. if you feel like crying , or laughing or singing or what,, Just do it.. Because its just the way to cope.. I know I still get big laughs and smiles when I retell events, I had with my mama.. and I'm sure pat and his loving family do too. I really wish and pray that everyone can find solace and strength regarding this event in their lives. I know its painful and I know it seems the pain and sadness will never go away. But Pat , my buddy , time does heal all wounds and the emotions and pains of your loss will in time become great stories to tell your kids and grand kids.. because I believe one day we all will be given that chance to see all our loved ones and that my friend is what keeps me going.. The faith and love of your family and dear friends and that hope that we will all see our loved ones , is what makes me happy. I know life is so fleeting and fast. I have seen my life and others come and go so fast. I have lost many family and Friends in my life and each time I take the time to make the people affected feel loved. Its true , you really can rely on only a few friends in life and I pray and wish and hope that pats family will take my feelings and tribute to their beloved Mama , that was truly a great woman , that molded a classy and caring man . Pat is and will always be a good friend that advised me or tried too,, and I'm thankful. Because its truly a blessing to find true friends that take the time to send their wishes or concerns for their loved ones. Mother Nature doesn't mess around,. because once its your turn to go... It waits on no one and when it hits , its like a hammer through your head and what horrible is when you don't see it or anticipate it,, That unexpected pain can be more hurting than something that gradually happens. But life is like that and father time ticks away at all of our lives and we all need to find peace and solace in what you do or want to do.. Nothing in life is a guarantee, except death.. Everything in between is a journey, a process , an adventure that at times seems so unreal and dramatic.. But we must go on and we must live on and To my dear friend Pat , I hope you don't mind me using the passing of your mother in my world famous blog, but if you really know "THE SOURCE.. " he writes what he feels and says what he means and believes in what he writes about and most of all he loves to teach , educate and advise people about life , death and how to live.. My final thoughts is this.. Don't ever take anything for granted, and don't ever be afraid to say " I LOVE YOU MAMA, I LOVE YOU BABES,, I LOVE YOU PAPA, I LOVE YOU SON , DAUGHTER , I LOVE YOU.. those words never get old to me.. Because life can change so fast and by not telling your loved ones those words, could be the biggest regret in your life.. I'm honored , I'm humbled and I'm reborn when I think about the love for my mama who passed away many years ago.. and I want all you to pay tribute to those loved ones that have passed in your life.. and the biggest legacy or tribute you can give is by living and praising their words, their favorite jokes and stories that made them so special in your life. I never get tired of retelling the funny moments I had with my mama, and I encourage my dear friend "PAT " and his loving family to honor and pay tribute to their mama and always be thankful for all the good times you shared and always take time to share those moments with those that knew her and loved her. Be well my friends and take solace that your family and close friends are there for you.. But you must reach out to them to get love and support ,, and for those that really care , they will be there always and forever.. I wish everyone a great day and love and peace in all your lives..

  What is success? Its simply achieving what you set your mind and declarations. You can't do anything in life without writing it down, without making a declaration to someone , a loved one a friend a lover , a group yourself. If you don't say it out aloud and make it a real living breathing idea or goal.. Than its just a fantasy in your own mind.. In other words its nothing. When I retired years ago. I decided I wanted to complete my degree and reinvent myself. I spent most of my adult life as a hard working patriotic and proud Military Member of the World's greatest Navy. I was a deck seaman, a force protection petty officer to Mailman, forklift driver to Material Division Officer to Hazardous Material Coordinator and trainer , recruiter and educator. I learned many facets of self defense , gun handling and proper watch standing.. In others words I was highly decorated Navy Sailor that earned respect and awards for my performance and behaviour.
  Then came World Financial Group. While I was taking courses at the University of Phoenix, and learning about business matters, marketing and how to deal with employees and such.. I was spoken to about this new Industry in the finance community. At first I was hesitant and Even skeptical about this new industry,, But Once I joined and I saw the webinars and meetings and realizing that this group of people are smart , innovative , creative and ambitious. Its was something I was ongoing for.. It reminded me of the military , team work , team building , recruiting , learning , educating , leading and most of all having a mission. The Military mission was protection for the homeland and other nations that pay us to protect them.. IN THE WFG world its protection and safety for families that want a chance to financial freedom and security. There is no other company that can show you the best way to build and protect your wealth. You are given the techniques to understand how money works and how  you can get the best rate of return.. Its the best financial techniques out there and many of you are still waiting and wondering about their financial futures.. What to do? Why not seek out a financial rep from WFG , listen to what they have to show you and decide on your own. Because 30-45 minutes of your time to seek out advice that could change your life , can be the turning point you need. I know I have been a hard worker and saved money the traditional ways using banks,, But there is a new way to save money , get a better rate of return while protecting your family and yourself. Because the worst thing to do today is do nothing m and let time go by.. Money can always be made. Am I right. do overtime, double time.. stop spending , cut out expenses. etc. But time keeps going. Why not take a hour of your time to hear and see the theories and how they relate to  numbers and how through time you can create a nice nest egg for educational funds for your kids or a savings plan or income for those nearing that age. As time goes by , inflation or the value of our dollar decreases , we all need money stored away for that need, funeral expenses, 
paying off mortgage or just taking the dream vacation. Or whatever your life bucket list you created, But in order to achieve those goals, you need to speak with a trusted friend , classmate , shipmate , family member or wfg associate that will be pleased to share the wealth of knowledge that can change your life. Success comes to those that work hard and who are wise enough to use the resources that can help them gain financial wisdom, security for themselves and their families. I know I have dedicated my life to protecting and help build a financial base my family can rely on and I'm hoping that we can reach as many people possible , because I truly believe in what I'm learning and sharing with my family , friends, classmates and shipmates. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than watching the people I show the paths to financial security. Its eye opening , its thought provoking and its just plain great human nature to help others. Its like a Doctor , or teacher that hear great praise for their works and deeds , I get the same satisfaction and pride that I helped my fellow family and friends to gain that financial stability they have been seeking. But nothing can happen if you don't seek out advice , if not from me, than from someone else. But the time is now to start securing your future or success and I know when you do,, YOUR LIFE  will change for the better. Nothing ventured , nothing gained. Its so true , you have to take that chance to hear what a World Financial Group associate can do.. I know it will be a turning point and a new beginning , It was and it is for me. Since signing up and earning my Life Agent license I have become a better person and a true advisor to my family and friends that have seeked my knowledge, and for those I want to thank you for giving that opportunity and for the others out there still wondering.. I'm going to reach out to you and I'm going to make it a pledge to talk and show to as many people possible in my lifetime the tools , the techniques and the resources that can help you achieve whatever goals and dreams you want. If not going to seek me out.     A wise person listens and investigates all avenues of success. What do I mean , its like this if you need legal advice you turn to a lawyer , if you need accounting help you go to an accountant , if you need medical you see a medical doctor etc. If you need financial advice you go to? Your family friend , your rich auntie or uncle. Your neighborhood financial planner, in that case you will have to pay them to organize a financial plan for your future. BUT my take is your the best finance advisor as the famous Suzy Orman says on her popular and educational show. With my new Company THE WORLD FINANCIAL GROUP , we are approaching the finance industry in a whole new light. We are looking to educate and inform the masses regardless if you buy from WFG or not. Our goal is to get people informed and let them make the right choices and we are hoping , that the stats and the information we provide you will choose our products , but that's not only the case I have educated or guided many of of my family members and they all have used other companies. Why? perhaps too close to home I rather have a stranger to examine my financial status or just want a cheaper costs or what? But the goals of WFG and myself is spread the word and ensure everyone knows the steps , techniques that are not taught in school. I'm willing to teach at my home , at the local Starbucks or meetings and classrooms. The knowledge and information is thought provoking and eye opening , but its also a lost art in today's world. Today we think save in the bank.. work hard buy the home , the cars the clothes.. and Success will come. But we all see that many people know how to make money , but fail to get the best return for their money. That's where a financial associate , Representative comes into play. We will sit down and explain the x curve , the pillars of monetary wealth protection and the rules of savings. We will break down how money works and how to get the best rate of return for your money and best of all get you into the money saving thought process. Like anything in  life you have to program yourself into saving money and preparing for the retirement years, because it will comes faster than you think. My advice is seek out a WFG associate and ask about learning about savings , investments and wealth protection , what will you lose , its always free advice and you will have a better understanding of what many are afraid to ask? Don't wait! The biggest enemy for all of us is time. We can make money and make up for lost money if you have time.. But time ,,is fleeting , once its gone , its over and done.. Seek out a WFG associate and start learning the habits and skills  that many people have done already and feeling better about their future.. Lets face it no one cares about your finances and future better than you. The WFG associate only informs and guides you into making the right choices for you , regardless of if you use our products. The New Industry is growing fast because people want to know how to make the most out of their money and gain financial independence , but that cant happen if you don't seek out those representative hat will enlighten you and start that wealth building process.. Today is a gift , that's why they call the "Present" you must take care of today and plan , so that future is truly golden and the best years of our lives. Make it a point to start thinking about what do I need to have a sound financial future and if you not sure how to get that started . seek out a WFG associate near you  and that step will be a turning point in your life and your sense on how money can work for my future. My wisdom thought is this use today to create a plan for your future and do you know how to achieve those goals? We feel you will choose WFG , if not now ,perhaps later , but don't waste Any more time to create the wealth , protection and safety you deserve for yourself and family.

True friends? a shocking statement .. based on true events

True Friends ? A hocking Event ,based on true events,

     I never thought ego , envy or even short sightedness could end a life long friendship , I mean we all say and do things to one another , but to hear from a close friend that I don't want to hear about your new venture in life or that they would jump to conclusions about my intentions.. But its ok, I mean we all live and learn and go on with life.. I mean I argue with my wife and disagree on many things but we go on right? But the fact someone close to you would be so aggressive in denying you , it means they have had these pent up feelings about you for years . It just took another success story so to speak to see their true feelings . Its not that some one denied me or said no, but the fact they wouldn't even want to hear about whats going on with your new life of success. To me , I guess I didn't realize that the years away and my successful accomplishments would lead to such a reaction. I mean , maybe I should realize maybe a true friend makes the effort to see your brand new house or a true friend makes a effort to see your brand new car , or attend each others accomplishments in life.. But its ok.. I mean that's life.. nothing stays the same even a life long friendship , I just thought I would get a different reaction , that's all. If anything I learned that when it comes to finances and such you are touching a delicate issue, especially if money is difficult to find. I admire my friend working hard at a job for  many years doing the same thing , I know I couldn't do it. I like changes , I like challenges , and I like to analyze things , maybe too much. But when it comes to making decisions.. I'm decisive I weight the facts and boom.. I make the decision,, good or bad,  I 'm not afraid to challenge myself, t takes a strong personality to keep going and keep believing in what your doing. As for my dear friend,, I'm kind of sorry they feel the way they feel ,. I mean I never meant to embarrass them or hurt their ego.. But based on their reaction.. I feel this jealous , envious feelings have been festering for some time. But I cant control how they feel.. Its what they feel..as for me.. I have to do what I feel is great work helping people learn about savings and how to get a better rate of return for their money. If anything I learned that you can teach someone or guide them if they don't want it, even if they need it , and with that I wish all of you a great day and just remember that life is fleeting and enjoy what you have love , friendship etc, because you never know when it comes to an end.. For me. its not losing a friend that hurts , but why it ended. The thought that being envious about what I have ad I have accumulated over my life is just an expression of oneself. I'm a big dreamer and visionary I always think about big things and helping people , but once again You cant always please everyone and teach everyone unless they want it.. True friends .. share and understand one another no matter what , not get angry over little things , because if they do I realize that a true friend is truly hard to find and if you have one.. Cherish it because I realize now,,, Nothing lasts forever if you don't have understanding and compromise.. If anything I just wanted to say that true friends care for one another and don't get upset over petty things,, because if they do,, than the friendship i thought we had was really not a true friendship, and with that I'm going on and I know my wife is really my true friend and I care and love her very much and I will appreciate her because despite my pitfalls and weaknesses she accepts me and loves me anyway, and in my past relationships,, that's a dream come true.. True friends.. I thought I had one.. but based on what just happened .. I'm shocked and disappointed in their reaction !!! Until my next blog.. Enjoy life and cherish your true friends because those are truly hard to find treasures in life!!
