DOLPHINS VS. CHARGERS WEEK 4 GAME BLACKED OUT OCT 2, 2011.. WHY?
THE NFL - NO FUN LEAGUE, NEW FINANCIAL LEADERS , NOT ENOUGH FINE LEAGUE,, ok, you figured when the Players and owners had that CBA lock out , someone would figure out something about the useless , and frustrating black out rules.. I mean 65,000 + fans paying over $ 100.00 ea AND OR MORE , not counting parking , souvenirs, concessions like expensive beer , is not enough? We are in a recession, we are struggling to pay for our mortgages , rents , food , insurance. High gas prices , etc. The fans of San Diego are loyal, I mean they sold out pre season games , while I saw many teams , not even close to selling out games. But when faced with whats going on this weekend. The Air show this weekend, the Patriots vs. raiders game is a must see game , and the fact the Bolts play the 0-3 fins , well folks are a bit stingy about shelling out big money on a bad team. I know the bolts didn't look good in their wins.. But they won and after Sunday I believe a 3-1 start is a blessing. we have some tough home game coming and we need to get wins early and start getting our offense going so when this team gets hot , we will be making that drive to the Playoffs.. I like what I see, but I hate the fact this game is blacked out and the NFL continues to keep this out dated policy , but it goes to show how greedy the League is and despite all the discussions they had about pensions, safety issues, free agency ,, nothing was mentioned about this policy. Shame on you NFL owners and Players, this should of been mentioned or discussed, but what do you expect from multi- millionaires playing a kids game. They don't realize that the fans , yes us,, make them all that money. We are the ones that buy tickets , products , tickets , jersey , hats , flags, etc. to support their lavish lifestyle.. But they just care about the almighty dollar. It's ok, I mean, Radio is not bad, and highlights on ESPN, is good too. and if its a close and exciting game , it will be featured on NFL NETWORK,, so I'm hoping for a nail biting , close game , with a last minute score to win the game.. There is stream sights that play the game , search it out, ask friends on face book, Me . I'm going to the Air show and listen up or check on my high tech phone for internet highlights, I don't like the black out rule , and I'm sure you fans hate it too. But its something we dealt with 3 times last year and , we have our first one.. I don't see any more black outs , I mean the raiders , bronocs will see out.. they always do.. The Ravens , Packers are must see games.. against great teams and we will be in the thick of things. The Bills might be blacked out , but they are doing well and there alot of Chargers players on that team.. Oh, don't we all want to see lights out Merriman , get shut out and ran over by Ryan Mathews and Mike Tolbert.. with Tolbert doing a lights out dance in the end zone with merriman 0n his back.. THE SOURCE STATS 27-21 WEEK 4 PICKS..
Well Last week I fell to 8-8 , I'm still on the winning side by apparently my formula isnt working too well, well this week I expect to do better maybe because the games are less competitive or I have a feel for the teams by now..This years surprise teams .. Detriot Lions , well I saw glimpses of this team last year , and the Buffalo Bills , their upset win over the Patriots was awesome, Sure they had to get 4 picks from Tom Brady , but a win is a win.. But the Most surprising has to be the Raiders 2-1 and upsetting the original bad boys bullies THE NEW YORK JETS..I hate to say it but the Raiders are for real and they play smash mouth in your face football, which i really like.. Theres nothing more brutal and dominating than a power running game a physical defense, it wears you out..
My picks for this week.
LIONS 3-0 VS. COWBOYS 2-1 - These two teams are leading their divisions, and both are very talented , but I cant see the boyz losing at home , the pressure is on and I feel the Boyz will win this tough game.
PANTHERS 1-2 VS. BEARS 1-2- These teams like to run , but have potent passing attacks, the Bears defense is better and at home , they will fight for this win.
BILLS 3-0 VS. BENGALS 1-2 - The Bills are for real and will beat this less talented team , I see Fitzpatrick having a big day and the Bills defense will secure the win.
TITANS 2-1 VS. BROWNS 2-1 - These two teams are physical and this will be a old fashion hard hitting football game, but The TITANS will make enough big plays to win this close game.
VIKINGS 0-3 VS. CHIEFS 0-3- The battle of the winless teams,, somebody has to win, The Vikes for three straight weeks had leads late in the game only to lose it late. The Chiefs cant score , and I see the same issue this week. Adrian Peterson runs wild and Mcnabb will make enough plays to squeeze out a close one.
REDSKINS 2-1 AT RAMS 0-3 - The redskins are for real and they should beat this young but struggling team.The redskins have a physical defense and that will decide this game , turnovers and sacks will be the telling stat.. AFC EAST is loaded with good teams again.. THE REDSKINS , GIANTS AND COWBOYS will have some great games this year.
SAINTS 2-1 VS. JAGUARS 1-2- The SAINTS had a scare at home , but they were playing a potent offense, this week, is not so,, The Saints win big.
STEELERS 2-1 VS. TEXANS 2-1- These are two hard hitting teams with good offenses, at home with that running attack and passing game.. You have to like the Texans.. The Steelers are good , but on the road against a solid and healthy offense.. i like the texans in another shoot out..

While the Raiders are a smash mouth , in your face running team , with great speed at the key positions. The defense is still questionable , but that offense just wears your down , ask the Jets ,, The bullies were out bullied by the Silver and Black, Yes, they are back and for reals.. I gonna go with the raiders at home, the Pats will not get the ball for long periods of time. The Raiders will dominate the line of scrimmage and time of possession . In a close hard hitting game. Raiders make believers out of their fans and the league after a convincing hard hitting error free football game against one if the elite teams in the league..
BRONCOS 1-2 VS PACKERS 3-0Tebowtebow.. Not this week , but it may come sooner or later.. Packers should win big..
SUNDAY NIGHT GAME - NY JETS 2-1 VS. RAVENS 2-1 - The battle of the might defenses, at home with all their weapons , I like the Ravens pulling out a victory. Joe flacco has big day and the Broncos just don't have the play makers or players to fit their d=style of play. Ravens in a close , hard hitting game.
Monday night game - COLTS 0-3 VS. BUCCANEERS- 2-1- The Bucs haven't looked good this season, but a win is a win. At home against a struggling colts offense , I see a low scoring ,defense minded defense. The colts counter with Curtis Painter ? Yea, too much to ask a young guy to play on Monday night and on the road . Expect blitzes and alot of sacks and fumbles.. Bucs win easily at home.. THE IDEAL BOSS.. Inspired by retired Master Chief ..SEPT 2011
THE IDEAL BOSS ...
The ideal Boss is someone that leads by example , and is knowledgeable about what they are doing. They are strict and fair and play no favorites. They are motivational and offer assistance and training as well as counseling for those in need. An ideal boss is respected because he earns it , not because he demands it or orders his way for it. Respect is a two way street , you give respect to others , you in return get it back. An Ideal boss is someone you can trust and turn to if something goes wrong professionally or personally . An Ideal boss corrects you in private and praises you in public. This boss also work side by side with you sharing the pains and thrills of being a team member. In other words a Ideal boss is in the trenches with his crew , on working parties , on liberty calls and in Command functions. An Ideal boss is someone you would literally die for , or at least give your best effort. After giving or describing what I thought was an Ideal Boss ,my Tap Instructor , said,,. Guess what? You just described how you would lead a team , division or work crew. After further review, I said Yes, indeed , that's the way I have led my people , my crew at all my divisions during my naval career. Upon further reflection , I'm not going to miss the Navy life at all. If anything the Navy is going to lose a great leader , a motivator and a last of its kind. Today's Navy lacks that leadership style,, today's navy is who you know and who you blow.. The qualified , certified mid level supervisor is now replaced with paper pushing , people pleasing yes men who do as they are told instead of act on whats right or good for their personnel. I'm going through a transition and I;m going to take my experience and leadership skills to the civilian world , while the Navy searches for what type of leader they want in this sop called " new navy" , new policy's , and beliefs that will make Navy life very diverse and will have to deal with issues they are have implemented. The Navy will continue like it has for hundreds of years , but the rules and regulations they have enforced will no doubt create issues they never thought or imagined would happen. The New Navy personnel will face these challenges and in my opinion have alot of work to do.. Until my next blog.. THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011

CHIEFS VS. CHARGERS WEEK 3 ANALYSIS
CHIEFS VS. CHARGERS WEEK 3 ANALYSIS
The Kansas City Chiefs were division champs and had a 7-1 record at home.. Today a year later they are 0-2 the worst offense in the league , have been out score 89-10 AND FACE THE 3rd Rank Passing offense in the League in the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS..
Simple for the Chiefs , run the ball , if theirs a weakness against the chargers this year last year , alot of years , is there run defense.. You run, keep the ball away from Rivers , you have shot. But losing your play making Runner Jamal Charles , and losing your difference maker on defense Eric Berry has resulted in two blow out losses and questions about the Chiefs this year.
Can Matt Cassell stay with Philip Rivers , simply no, he doesn't have the skill or the play makers to make it happen. If they get behind , they re going to press and when cassell is pressured he folds like a old tent.
The charger defense has has to shut down the run and go after Cassel, make him throw it quickly and get turnovers and opportunities for their offense to score. The Bolts need to get a pass rush and work on covering tight ends and also shutting teams down on third downs.. It must start now..
The Chiefs defense is in trouble with problems or lack of players in the secondary,. I see a long day for the Chiefs , as they contend with Jackson, Floyd, Gates, Matthews , Tolbert , Walters, and company. I see a wide open aerial display by a team that knows they can score against anyone. last week against the Patriots take away those turnovers its a different game.. But enough what if.. the time is now Chargers..
No more excuses about injuries , distractions, etc, the next three games The Chiefs, Dolphins at home are winnable games, The road game against the Broncos is also a must win and a sure win.. They must come out 4-1 before the bye week,, Then they have the JETS,, to knock over. If the Chargers and their fans are going to have faith,, this year,, then you must beat the teams that are beatable and beat the elite teams anywhere ,home and away. This should not be a close game, and if it is,.I blame Norv Turner for not getting his guys focused on this game. Rivers needs to explode and have a great game aw well as our running game with Mathews and Tolbert. The thunder must strike and the power must surge this Sunday , so that fever , can be caught by the fans of the Bolts.. Another slow start , massive injuries and poor play ,, the fans will not buy it anymore.. Whether its football tickets , or Jerseys, or what,, The san diego fans are tired of all the excuses. Its time.. and Sunday the Bolts get going!!

Patriots vs. Bills- Battle of the unbeatens, Patriots use the no huddle , and accurate passing and a defense that causes turnovers meaning more chances to score. The Bills are the young upstarts who have been owned by the Patriots over the years. No, Patriots win a close one at home..
49ers vs. Bengals- Both teams have good running games and average qbs, defense is about the same so I'm going with Home field advantage..
Dolphins vs. Browns- Similar teams , similar defense , I like the Browns to win a low scoring game of the week.
Broncos vs. Titans- Broncos just don't have the personnel to run the style of play we desire. The Tim Tebow debate lays to rest because its a road game , but the more the Broncos lose , the more tempting to put in the popular yet limited qb. The Titans are a young team led by a veteran qb.. I like Titans to win it easy.
Lions vs. Vikings- The Lions have a stud qb and an aggressive defense, they have confidence and are eager to showcase their new image and attitude,, Definitely a surprise 2-0 team. The Vikings are the mystery team , with the games best running back and a 17 pt lead last week and still lose,, Theres something wrong, and I don't think it gets fixed this week..
Texans vs. Saints- The Texans are 2-0 and are the early talk to win AFC South, Are they for real , we will find out against the saints, The saints at home are too good, I'm not sold on the Texans yet.. This is a statement game if they are real contenders..
Giants vs. Eagles- The Giants have struggled on both sides of the ball , while The Eagles are looking every bit the dream Team... Mike Vick is the catalyst and he needs to remain healthy and more protective of the ball and himself.. I see eagles winning wast at home..
Jaguars vs. Panthers- Jaguars have put alot of pressure on their Head coach , i mean letting go your pro bowl starter David Garrard and hoping things will work out. Instead I see the Rookie sensation Cam Newton, show case his talents and prove his critics and haters , that he is a legitimate starter in the NFL.. I see a easy win for the Panthers at home while Cam begins his legacy...
NY Jets vs. Raiders- The Jets are a legitimate contender for the Super bowl.. They make a cross country trip to the Black hole... Actually these two teams are similar in make up and philosophy , both Coaches like to talk trash to and for their teams.. I see a rockin sock em. rough and tumble game with the Jets pulling it off, because of better coaching and the LT effect, his usually dominates the Raiders and don't be surprised if the ageless wonder is used more just for the raiders..

This should be a blow out , but this year has created weird scenarios, like the Lions and Bills and Texans undefeated , But I see Rivers and his crew, having monster days.. Mathews will gain 100 yds rushing and receiving and be explosive and dynamic. The defense will keep the score down under 17 pts.. I see the Bolts rolling up 45- 52 pts.. A sure Bet"!1
Packers vs, Bears- The Packers looked awesome opening day against the saints, and so so against the Panthers, On the road , I see a tough game , but the Bears have too many issues on the offensive line and although their defense is good, The Packers have a great offense and its ready to show it again after a average day last week.

The Bucs are young and talented , but I don't see them having enough defense to stop the Falcons enough , so their Bucs offense can out score them. The Falcons win this because of Michael turners brutal runs and Matt Ryans accurate throws and a defense that will bounce back after last weeks track meet with the eagles..

49ers vs. Bengals- Both teams have good running games and average qbs, defense is about the same so I'm going with Home field advantage..
Dolphins vs. Browns- Similar teams , similar defense , I like the Browns to win a low scoring game of the week.
Broncos vs. Titans- Broncos just don't have the personnel to run the style of play we desire. The Tim Tebow debate lays to rest because its a road game , but the more the Broncos lose , the more tempting to put in the popular yet limited qb. The Titans are a young team led by a veteran qb.. I like Titans to win it easy.
Lions vs. Vikings- The Lions have a stud qb and an aggressive defense, they have confidence and are eager to showcase their new image and attitude,, Definitely a surprise 2-0 team. The Vikings are the mystery team , with the games best running back and a 17 pt lead last week and still lose,, Theres something wrong, and I don't think it gets fixed this week..
Texans vs. Saints- The Texans are 2-0 and are the early talk to win AFC South, Are they for real , we will find out against the saints, The saints at home are too good, I'm not sold on the Texans yet.. This is a statement game if they are real contenders..
Giants vs. Eagles- The Giants have struggled on both sides of the ball , while The Eagles are looking every bit the dream Team... Mike Vick is the catalyst and he needs to remain healthy and more protective of the ball and himself.. I see eagles winning wast at home..
Jaguars vs. Panthers- Jaguars have put alot of pressure on their Head coach , i mean letting go your pro bowl starter David Garrard and hoping things will work out. Instead I see the Rookie sensation Cam Newton, show case his talents and prove his critics and haters , that he is a legitimate starter in the NFL.. I see a easy win for the Panthers at home while Cam begins his legacy...

CHARGERS VS. PATRIOTS - ANALYSIS SEPT 2011
Chargers vs. Patriots - Analysis Sept 2011...
As Die hard Charger fans , we all or hoped for a Statement game victory against the 3 time Super Bowl Champions MVP - perhaps the Best quarterback since Joe Montana days.. The Genius Coach Bill Belichick, I know the Chargers were exciting top watch , and take away those turnovers we will or atleast tie the game.. Fans.. Lets face it.. We say what if? too much.. I mean What if I won a million dollars , or what if I didn't speed , I wouldn't get that ticket. In life , and especially the Football World What ifs? or We should of won that game , if not for? Theres nothing for almost , theres nothing for excuses, This team had many chances to score and make a bold statement. But instead our usually reliable QB made bad throws.. Like twice in a row he threw picks to fat , defensive lineman.. That's inexcusable , especially the guy he was throwing to were wide open.. But whats worse he made poor decisions, he tried to run for a TD.. Philip you are slow, in fact paint dries faster than you can run.. Don't do it. Your not Mike Vick on his worse day. The amazing hero for the Vikings game Mike Tolbert, all we needed was one yard for a td,, you didn't execute , and that my fellow fans was the beginning to the end of winning this game.. Momentum , confidence all went to the PATRIOTS.. THE BOLTS for theuir credit ,didnt give up , but too many turnovers in the red zone and the inability of our defense to stop brady bunch and his fanatstic crew.. The PASS CATCHERS of the Patriots were open,.and had free room to run.. If the safeties dont shire that up soon, Teams are going to exploit that and folks. we are gonna have to score 40 pts a game to win,, thats too much even for a talented offensive team like this. The Patriots no huddle fast offense killed the Bolts, they were confused , frustrated and enbarassed out there, they had to resort to fake injuries, yes, fake, I will say it and I would bet on it those were done to slow the Patriots and get their defensive players out there. This is a copy cat league, and if I was Coach of the San Diego Chargers , I would embrace that style and use it especially against the Dolphins in a couple of weeks , that's had no answers and gave up record breaking yards to Tom Brady.
I could go into every situation of the game , but I wont because simply put m the Chargers were out played , out muscled , out hustled..and Yes Out coached.. Honestly Bolt fans if you had your choice of Coaches Norv or Bill , hands down. I like Bill,. I love his approach his demeanor , how his teams always perform at a high level regardless of talent or lack of.. I hate to go back in time but 2006 fot the San Diego Super Chargers was a 14-2 Team , with Home field advantage and the games best running back at that time LT, record breaking season with TD, total yds gained running and passing , it was and probably remain of the greatest seasons we as Charger fans ever saw. But guess what? The heavy underdog Patriots , came into town , and beat us and dance on our mid field helmet, with angry LT and Rivers shouting down the Patriots.. I admired their loyalty and pride for the Bolts.. Its too bad we don't have more of those types on the team.. But any of us that have played sports knows,, if you win, you have bragging rights, trash talking rights and celebration rights. Its human nature to be happy especially when you beat the Media darlings and crowd pleasing Chargers , the missed field goals , and the bone headed penalties and fumbles got Marty fired soon aftre that game.
The Answer.. NORV TURNER-- perennial loser Coach with the Redskins and Raiders , and now with the Chargers.. Sure Norv has won 100 games ,, but he also has lost 105 games.. I'm not a math guru, but that's a losing percentage.. Norv, for the past five years has his teams starting slow than making incredible runs to make playoffs, but that streak ended last year.. I still think the Chargers win this division because the Chiefs have regressed and plating a first place schedule with out alot of the play makers.. The Broncos , have new coach, and lack of players to fit that style right now.. and The Raiders after their last minute melt down ,after leading by 17 pts on the road , indicates the same old Raiders of the past. But forget winning the division.. How will we do against the other division winners and wild cards.. Floyd Mayweather is a 6 time champion , he is 43-0 and 19-0 in world Title fights. He has some of the highest pay per view totals in the history of boxing. But thats due to the majority of people who want to be there and see the one the beats the living crap out of him. Love him or hate him , he does have charisma , he does speak well , dresses well and knows how to play the villain. Why? Because he knows based on just boxing ability , no one would play to watch him. He's a talented , fleet footed , highly skilled , but boring fighter who cares about defense and protecting his face. Nothing wrong with that , but come on man, this is boxing , a mans sport , the true test of a man's heart and determination. But Mayweather treats boxing like a basketball game , no offense to basketball players , but boxing is supposed to be violent , bloody and scary to watch. With mayweather the only scary thing you see is the horrible outfits he wears into the boxing ring and his reckless comments after most of his title fights.
But Floyd can't handle the truth, when larry merchant brings up the notion , his actions were bush league was dirty, Mayweather went postal, instead of defending his actions with reasonable comments , he instead starts calling out a old man and calling him names and insulting one of boxing's great writers and commentators. Great job Mayweather , if you had fought a clean and Honorable fight , you could of made you claims as the Games best, more valid..
But instead you make a mockery of the sport with your " Ric Flair " professional fake wrestling, scripted matches , with a cartoon like rant and embarrassed your self , the sport of boxing and of course the HBO Co, by the way helped pay for your large purse. What a way to bite the hand the feeds you. Floyd , you are a jerk, a fraud and a coward that makes outrageous demands to avoid a fight with THE WORLDS GREATEST FIGHTER MANNY ' PAC MAN' PACQUIAO!!!

Pacquiao is the only fighter ever to win 8 world Titles in 4 different Weight classes. The People champ is the first fighter to be elected as a Congressman and he's the Ultimate champion in and out of the ring. He is a true treasure to the Filipino's and others that respect his character and humbleness. His hard work and determination is second to none.

Mayweather envies pacquiao's adulation he receives every where he goes, Manny is loved because he fights with a passion , and spirit you rarely see in today's boxing. Manny is a throw back fighter , like a Ray Robinson, Joe Louis , Julio Caesar Chavez , or ray leonard , tommy hearns , marvin Hagler. Manny ranks with them . Because Manny steps up and fights the best of his era. His victories and knock outs of Barrera , Morales (twice) Diaz, Delahoya ( golden Boy) Hatton , Cotto ,Marquez, Mosley , Clotttey were dominating and exciting to watch. After each Pacquiao fight people ask , I cant wait to watch him again. Mayweather fights fans ask" What a waste of time and money?" Or I seen that already.. Sure he wins , but he doesnt take risks , he just does enough to score points and win the basketball opps I mean boxing match..
Mayweather cant stand the fact boxing experts and fans compare similar fights and results between the two. Ricky hatton went 11 rds before Floyd knocked him out , but almost got floored early in the fight by a hatton power punch. Pacquiao nearly killed him in one of the greatest knockouts I have ever witnessed( i attended the fight ) Hatton laid motionless for almost ten minutes while his fiance was shaking uncontrollably.. Hatton not only retires , but has to undergo drug rehab...
Mayweather wins split decision over Oscar ( golden Boy ) delahoya , which many felt , including myself Oscar won the fight. Manny not only dominates but makes the Oscar quit in his corner and ultimately force him into retirement and into drug and alcohol rehab..
Mayweather beats Marquez and dominates a fighter out of his weight class and decisively a smaller , theres no moment where mayweather comes close to knocking down or knocking out this smaller man. Manny scores 5 knockdowns in two fights and does something Floyd couldn't do , knock Marquez down , and fight marquez at his proper prime weight.
Mayweather dominates Mosely , but not after Mosley scares mayweather with a power punch that nearly sends mayweather to the canvas. Floyd makes adjustments and goes on t win a boring decision.. Pacquiao knocks Mosely down and the expression on Shanes face is priceless, What semi just hit me? But due to admitted leg issues during the bout , Manny boxes and batters Mosely en route to a decision. Mosely hasnt fought since and My guess another fighter retires because of beating he got.
lastly , Mayweather cant stand the truth that Manny Pacquiao has retired more fighters than social security. Mayweather cant stand Manny's image , popularity , his cult like following around the world and the fact Manny has made movies , commercials, can play guitar , sing , do concerts , and become an elected official in the Philippine Political scene. Manny is also a charitable and giving person and his humbleness and respect for the sport and his fellow fighters garners God like presence in the Boxing World. Manny doesn't need to resort to dirty tactics or false bravado to win fights. Mayweather hates the truth that his own legacy in the sport he loves so much depends on when and how he performs against the best fighter in the World.. The truth is Mayweather cant stand the truth and it eats him up every where he goes and every time people bring up the P word.. Mayweather beats Marquez and dominates a fighter out of his weight class and decisively a smaller , theres no moment where mayweather comes close to knocking down or knocking out this smaller man. Manny scores 5 knockdowns in two fights and does something Floyd couldn't do , knock Marquez down , and fight marquez at his proper prime weight.
Mayweather dominates Mosely , but not after Mosley scares mayweather with a power punch that nearly sends mayweather to the canvas. Floyd makes adjustments and goes on t win a boring decision.. Pacquiao knocks Mosely down and the expression on Shanes face is priceless, What semi just hit me? But due to admitted leg issues during the bout , Manny boxes and batters Mosely en route to a decision. Mosely hasnt fought since and My guess another fighter retires because of beating he got.
lastly , Mayweather cant stand the truth that Manny Pacquiao has retired more fighters than social security. Mayweather cant stand Manny's image , popularity , his cult like following around the world and the fact Manny has made movies , commercials, can play guitar , sing , do concerts , and become an elected official in the Philippine Political scene. Manny is also a charitable and giving person and his humbleness and respect for the sport and his fellow fighters garners God like presence in the Boxing World. Manny doesn't need to resort to dirty tactics or false bravado to win fights. Mayweather hates the truth that his own legacy in the sport he loves so much depends on when and how he performs against the best fighter in the World.. I predicted a victory for Mayweather and a dominating win, I also predicted a KNOCKOUT if the opportunity came. Well , Mayweather was frustrating the young bull , those counter punches and making Ortiz miss more punches than ever in his career was wearing thin on the Mexican Warrior.
When a fighter is frustrated and getting beat down,, alot of fighters do illegal things , like Tyson biting Holyfields ear , or Duran quiting in the famous " NO MAS " fight .
But what Ortiz did or didn't do was unreal.. First off he intentionally head butted his opponent and from the looks of it , he tries to hug and kiss mayweather , apologizing . Check the replays , it was a very bizarre scene unfolding in front of your eyes. Then they meet at center ring. The referee says " fight" Ortiz is still trying to apologize and hug Mayweather , but Floyd has no more inclinations for forgiveness and when it appears Ortiz is watching or looking at the referee, I don't know why? I mean your opponent is pissed because you tried to cut the Pretty Boys face, well anyways Floyd hits him with a solid left hook , and Ortiz stands straight up to take the final straight right cross to the jaw.
In a flash , Oritz drops to the canvas , and within seconds , he is counted out by a Boxer who is not known to have great punching power. In other words , Ortiz showed no guts or courage to get himself off the canvas and engage in this brawl he created by being aggressive and doing a illegal head butt.
What I don't understand is Everyone is crucifying Mayweather , for being unsportmans and dirty,Well folks I used to box and street fight , when someone just hurt you , no matter what the means , human nature tells you get him back with a low blow or head butt or better yet a powerful unexpected 2 punch combination. Its called pay back , its called fighting , it's called protect yourself at all times. For goodness sakes people this is a fight , this is war , this is personal , this is unpredictable. When people fight , people get cut , bruised , suffer sprains, breaks, concussions , people get hurt. This is probably the only sport or game where the key to win is to hurt the other guy, In other words , they get paid to kicked each others asses'..
The other point I don't understand that was a sucker punch ? What? Once again how can anything be a sucker punch when both people know they are fighting one another. To me , and correct me if I'm wrong , the definition of a sucker punch is when someone hits you when your not expecting a fight , like your walking down the street and someone just punches you at of no where. What mayweather did was not illegal and though may not be sportsmanlike , like all great Champions they make you pay for any mistakes or lapses in concentration. In my opinion Ortiz was more frustrated than hurt , and when those blows landed , sure they were solid good shots , he thought this is my way of a beat down. History lesson he has lost three times and had 2 draws in his career and in those losses and draws he heart , desire and ability to come back were in question, and on the biggest night of his young career , it came back to haunt him and ultimately play havoc on his psyche and desire to fight. He flat out quit like the loser does when he cant stand the beating he was taking or about to take.
lastly , mayweather's postal rant with Larry merchant was bizarre and comical and put boxing closer to Professional wrestling than Professional Combat sports.. Mixed martial arts is gaining momentum because you see better fight cards and classier participants. Boxing and Mayweather had that golden opportunity , for atleast a night become the most important event in combative sports this year. But instead we saw two classless and useless fighters put on a disgraceful and shameful display of sportmanship and true championship character. Instead we saw characters from the Wizard of oz. The lion with no courage .. or the Straw man , if I only had a brain.. and the tin man , no heart.. Boxing has a long proud tradition of great champions. Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano , Sugar Ray Robinson , , all of them would be rolling in their graves if they just witnessed this so called Championship fight. Instead we saw what's wrong with today's boxing. Cocky , insecure , disrespectful Champions who would not stand a chance against the Champions of yester year.

MAYWEATHER VS. ORTIZ.. things to look for..
Mayweather vs. Ortiz, things to look for:
Mayweather- Hasn't fought what? 3 fights in 4 years - Hattton ko , Marquez - boxing clinic , Mosely- boxing clinic. All those fights he started slow, but once he figures you out , it became a boxing clinic.
Mayweather doesn't throw combinations like he used to ,because he always thinking defense , he footwork and elusiveness is second to none and has knowledge of the game is unreal. He know what to do and how to do it. He also is the Master of head games, he know how to get fighters to forget about their fight plans.. History says in the lighter divisions its harder to stay as a champion. Perhaps that's why he doesn't fight as often , he does have had issues , Like The great Sugar Ray Leonard did. Mayweather his whole career has always punched with his chin up , Why he wants to keep his eyes on his opponent , but because he does that , he gets caught with quick counters. Mayweather wants this fight in the center of the ring , so he can circle , roll and counter the bull rushes of Ortiz, but even if Ortiz manages to get Mayweather on the ropes , mayweather , like Ali knows how to pitch and roll and actually use the rope as a launching pad for his counter punches. Mayweather has been here many times and his experience and knowledge that even when he gets hurt , he can gather himself , refocus and come back to dominate a fight against great fighters. Great fighters not only have great physical skills , but have that mental stebngth that they believe they cant be beat and blame no one but themselves.. Ortiz- has lost 2 times and 2 draws, one those fights Maidiana - he quit , or at least he looked like, he was frustrated and show no heart , as the fight was stopped due to cuts. Like Duran , wants you quit you career your reputation and your own self confidence falls into question. He has only beaten 3 World Champions and his last Victory Berto , impressive but Berto is no where near the talent , skill or mental level of the World's greatest and hated Boxer.
Ortiz is being taught to Punch the body or arms and not get caught with counters, he is basically trying to be something he hasn't been his whole career. He needs to be focused and disciplined and watch for counters , he has a tendency to be off balance , because he's always concentrating on power punches. His down fall is that he doesn't set up his punches like a great fighter like a Chavez, Trinidad, or Pacquiao, but all these fighters also know how to box and counter punch , something I havent seen in any of his fights. I also haven't seen him come back from adversity or getting hurt , remember he lost 2 fights and has 2 draws where his heart and desire were questioned in those fights against fighters no where the talent level of Mayweather. Just something to think about tonight..? First off, I'm not a great writer or a deep thinker , I;m just a girl who likes to have fun, I was searching through my friends list,, no name , I will protect their identity. But anyways, I came across this interesting dude, I mean he had alot going for him, Fed Govt work, Likes dancing , writing , etc. At first I was hesitant and then i went for it,. At first he was hesitant because he said that he normally doesn't accept friendships from people he doesn't really know. But he did and wow,, I was or still am awed.
This guy is funny , sensitive maybe too much, he has child like qualities , for example he's very playful with words or comments, he's also impulsive and reckless with his thoughts and emotions and that's where I see at times real or face book friends get confused. For me nothing beats real true life , I see you every day friends, Those are the ones you hang out with , feel comfortable etc. But the face book ones, lets be honest , who really knows what any of us is thinking,.WE MAKE COMMENTS.. often times as jokes or what , but the other party interprets it differently, and to me that's the flaw in this system , it really display the real deal of ones intention. One may read something and it means a totally different meaning. We also know depending on our moods at the time , when we read something , we often takes things too literal or what. That's where the disconnect happens and that's where you see posts like , I'm cleaning out my friends list, or fa wk those people who don't understand me ,, or Don't disrespect me etc , etc. I;m not saying I have better ways to make face book better, We all have seen or heard stories about how it can ruin lives and relationships. But I also see how a person like the one I'm talking about likes to share his talents and skills to his friends. i mean this guy has a YouTube account with his pop lock / break dancing , he has martial arts demos, etc.. I love it , I think it's cool someone is willing to take the time and effort to pt those things for people to see. I'm being honest , he's a talented dude, I can call friend, yea it's only been a few days , but the comments and advice he has given me has been very important to me,, For me, getting advice from guys or this guy is very special, he's a very protective guy when it comes to friends , I like that , we often see guys or girls that when a friend does something harmful , we let it go.. But a true , true friend lets someone know,, Hey , wake up , that's not right, or I respect you I wouldn't put you in a bad spotlight. But it seems , well in my life , I get alot of misunderstandings and confusion, and in time I will figure it out , but I'm glad I have real daily I get to see friends and the Internet space friends I can turn to, for advice , inspiration , jokes, entertainment. etc. I hope my friend , no name given , understands my position and just goes with it for now,, Its like the old saying time heals all wounds , or if they really like you , they will come back,, or was that if they love you , they will come back.. Well you get the idea, making the connection to me means having a friend that cares , loves you as you are , and makes comments or advice that is going to help each other. A face book friend is someone that you turn to when the real friend is not around and it's convenient , get on your lap top , or what phone for some of us and we can connect. I love my face book friends and I really enjoy this guys comedy , spirit , wisdom , talent and he's passion for life and his face book friends, Truly an original and someone I can call a true friend.. take care and Keep smiling.. BALI INDONESIA- WEST PAC.. INSPIRED BY PRINCETON LIBERTY BUDS
BALI , INDONESIA - INSPIRED STORY BY MY PRINCETON LIBERTY BUDDY'S...
In the navy , we do a thing called deployment , its when you and your shipmates after months of sailing and getting qualified on your particular jobs. The reward is months away overseas.. I've done 6 months up to 8 month deployments. They all their own feel to it depending on who's in charge and where you go, I 've had deployments with many port visits and then i have some where you hit Hawaii then the gulf and then Hawaii , then home.. Not a good one..
But this pac was probably one of the best , Why? because of my many friends I made , with the creation of the source , the talks about football , boxing.. Its funny I associated names and faces with their favorite football team. That's why they loved me , or because I was the ships "mailman" and I was also the ships clown.. performer..
But on this occasion we hit Bali, a surfing beach town, with wonderful food and people,.But on this day I was walking along the strip and I came across young girls.. not even teenagers, I was looking at stuff , to buy, and then a young girl said,, Hi, whats your name ? I said " Johnny" not my real name , but never the less , after a while the girl said "Can you buy me a coke.. ? I thought , it was kind of hot and i thought Sure , so I bought one for her and myself.. Then moments later she said johnny can you buy one for my friend , I said why not,.. But before you know it. I was buying cokes for about 20 kids , and they were calling out my name.. Johnny , please buy me one too, and they began putting necklaces and stuff in my hands to buy,.. But I didn't want it.. In fact it got to the point I starting running away, so here's this navy dude with a clan of people following him calling out his name.. Then the liberty bus or vans , pass by and suddenly everyone is laughing and taking pictures of me . because it was quite the site, a group of young girls and boys chasing around Bali.. It was embarrassing at the time,. But later when I returned to the Boat. I became the instant story teller and played it up.. Yup.. What a day I had,, But it was one of the nicest places I ever visited and I had a wonderful time ,, enjoying the night life with my buddies , who knows? maybe if inspired I will retell the night events. RAIDERS AT BILLS- Both teams are 1-0 and of course this ends this week , as much I like The Raiders and their running game , back to back road games and traveling to Upper New York against the rejuvenated Bills, is too much to ask.. I see a low scoring game with the Bills committing less turnovers and penalties.
Bears at Saints - The Bears looked like the Bears of yester year , Marte Forte is a beast and Urlacher had a great game , we all know he's going to play with alot of emotion,.But the Saints can score and score and against a older defense than the Packers , I see a offensive fireworks.. Brees and company are eager to bring home a season home opening win for the fans and barring turnovers , I see the Saints putting on another show..

Not only the Steelers win this game , but win big and show the upstart Seahawks and their flamboyant Coach , the difference of talent and skill of these two teams.. I see blow out...
CARDINALS AT REDSKINS- Both teams are undefeated and both teams want this to be a break out season.. I like redskins , at home and feeling good about themselves.. It will have some fireworks , but in the end the redskin defense will get some turnovers and the noise will affect the cardinal offense and their new quarterback.. Redskins win by a TD..
COWBOYS VS. 49ERS- These teams are full of history between them we have 10 Superbowl wins.. but that was yester year. TODAY these teams have strong defenses with talented offenses.. At home I like the niners ,, Alex Smith has finally looked like the NO# 1 pick and I'm proud of the San Diego native from Helix High.. (he admitted he is a Charger fan) I see the Ball control niner offense , pass to a early lead and run late to maintain a fairly tough game at home..
EAGLES AT FALCONS(SUNDAY NIGHT GAME) Eagles look like the dream team, but Mike Vick had to run more than he should and was hit tackled more than his own running back,, That doesn't bode well for the whole season. I expect to stay in the pocket more and get the passing game going. The FALCONS were embarrassed and they want to redeem themselves at home .. I see a vulnerable offensive line throw quick passes, and in a wild shoot out.. 52- 45.. The last team with the ball with enough time to score will win this offensive show down.. I see the Chargers taking advantage of early season injuries and that suspect defense early in the season to make a statement to the NFL, this is a different start and year for the Chargers..

Mayweather vs Ortiz- STARS COLLIDE SEPT 17,2011..
Mayweather vs. Ortiz. Stars collide . Sept 17,2011,,
This is gonna be a interesting fight , you have perhaps the boxing's game best boxer - technician , defensive genius since Muhammad Ali , Sugar Ray Leonard , Pernell Whittaker, at times they great champions put up boring shows , because they are so hard to hit. Sure Mayweather has been hurt stunned , whatever, but has he been knocked out , knocked down, cut , or better yet lose two round in a row. Mayweather lures you to sleep , he throws jabs and gets out of range better than any fighter today. I scores points and wins rounds in fights. He doesn't beat you up or causes cuts or bruises , but he wins.. He waits ,, and waits and sets traps when you get inpatient and frustrated like Hatton , like delahoya or even Mosely. He has seen and beaten all the styles.. He's not afraid, No one who rules the division for so many years is afraid of anything. Yes, Carlos Ortiz is a aggressive , hard punching south paw , I even give him the edge over Pacquiao in power. But that's it.. He's your typical fearless , and reckless mexican warrior that if he's not careful may get knocked out. remember speed kills and knockouts by Mayweather comes from the shots you don't see, and plus he's deadly accurate , not hard , but the accumulation of hard , and accurate punches that will wear down , frustrate and ultimately defeat the young , good looking next star of boxing.. To be honest Pacquiao vs. Ortiz would be a war between two warriors.. But this fight , we have the bull ( ortiz) coming after the Matador ( Mayweather) I know Mayweather is a jerk and e so arrogant, ok,, But his skills are above any other fighter today, the only way to beat him is to out box him , like Delahoya almost did,, But to out punch him , that's not going to happen because he wont be there to hit. He will hit and grab , and push and move and dance his way to a boring but dominate win , like he did to Marquez , and Mosely .. He's so mentally tough and nothing phases him.. He has been in so many big fights.. Carlos Ortiz this is is biggest fight ever , and the emotions , the stress and the pressure of the event in my opinion will over take his desire , and power , he will let the emotions of the night and the fact this is the fight of his life. Mayweather is battle tested , we have seen when he gets hurt.. He reaches deep down and becomes the true great champion he is.. Ortiz, has been hurt , and cut and has lost fights because he didnt have the extra gear to finish the fight in which he had trouble. Nobody , the experts are giving ortiz a chance , but I will give him that punchers chance, He has to make the fight and not only hurt mayweather early , but must remain focused on taking what Mayweathers gives him. For example , dont load up so much and jab to score points and try to the Money man inpatient , like delaohoya did, but didnt have the stamina or heart to finish out his fight plan.. But do I see Ortiz doing that, honestly , no,, I see him getting caught in the emotion and crowd and try to end this fight early. But after a few rounds of swing and missing and getting winded , you get tired when you miss punches and someone punches you back, Its a mental break down , like Ali and Leonard did to their fighters.. The mental part is often neglected and not understood. DIETING TIME... I hate this time of the year.. NAVY PFA..

Ladies and gents its that time of the year for us Navy folks, Working out , running , biking sit ups ,, hitting the gym.. Me,. i like punching the bags and riding bikes as well as pop locking...But we all know the hardest part is dieting , restricting what you eat or drink. I mean back in the day , I could eat like a pig and still weigh 120 lbs.. But these days,. I even look at cookies I put on weight.. So what to do,.? Well I do the green tea , deal , drink it and take pills.. What does it do, it makes you crap all day put I see major weight loss or muscle definition.. I also do the grape fruit deal, and veggies . eat alot of fruits. avoid all fast food , and soft drinks.. hard to do huh guys. But its what I have to do, so I'm light and ready to do the exercises.. But dieting makes me moody , short tempered and often times,, inpatient. But friends and family are understanding of my moods , but others must think I going through Pms or having a period. I mean I can get nasty , especially if i feel I'm being tricked or mistreated.. What I hate is when I watch TV and see all those food ads, it seems when your dieting , you see more of these commercials or you pay attention to them more because your starving. But its a necessary evil to get through navy assessments. Does it weaken your body,. I guess , Does it affect your moods,, in my case yes.. Does it make you stronger.. that's debatable.. I mean, In some ways i understand why they want to be a certain weight, but My thinking if your healthy and are capable to perform exercises than how much you weight according to numbers on a piece of paper,, determined by some pencil neck , tie suit person behind a air conditioned office,, Doesn't make sense..? But then again alot of things in the Navy makes sense.. But we have to do it..
Lastly , I just want to say i hate this time of the year because of all the favorite foods i have to stay away from or at least control what i eat.. I HATE THE WAY I ACT OR REACT to things because the lack of food , makes me testy,, angry ,, until the weigh in day.. Then I eat like a dog.. and i feel like me.. But right now.. until weigh in day.. Friends and family please forgive me.. I am being deprived and when you deprive anyone of something they become.. An angry dude or chick,, am I right.. ? Oh well until my next story , Take Care.. Brian Urlacher- My prayers and thoughts are with you, inspired by my own Mom's death..
To you sir, I applaud you , I have always admired the way you play and how you carry yourself. I see a true friend and a defender of your teammates , right or wrong. I can tell loyalty and friendship is very important you,. I pray and my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. It seems alot of people I know have lost someone and I know how that feels,.I know when My mom passed I thought it's too soon, I'm not ready to let her go. To be honest it still the saddest day in my life and it took me along time to recover or heal. I know life goes on, but My mom was the greatest mom ever , just like all the moms are to their sons and daughters. I know you probably will not read this unless one of my Chicago Bear fans send it to you or what. But it doesn't matter, I just wanted to share my thought to my face book friends that losing someone is the hardest thing to deal with in this life. I often times question Why? Do we have to endure such pain and sorrow, well.. as time went by I have a leap of faith that God will steer us to the right path. I know I get challenged or tested on a daily basis, but everything happens for a reason and we all must submit to it.. Brian. stay strong and I wish you the best of luck and take care of your business and when your ready , raise havoc for your team.. Life is one of the most uncontrollable things . I mean we can control our emotions or how we feel , at least we think we can, But life is different every day. We contend with Traffic . accidents , weather,, mother nature , like earth quakes , fires. heavy rains,. snow for some of us. But making daily decisions is always a stressor. what to wear? , where to go ? what to eat ?, Who to make friends with? I know alot of us want to be happy , do what we like and share those things with our face book friends. I think that's one of the greatest things created was face book, I mean we get to stay in touch at our own terms .. What do I mean? Well we post things and our friends can either comment , delete or what at any time of the day and night. You cant do that with phone calls, I know theres nothing like talking to someone , but texting , emailing and face booking is the modern day tool that brings people together.
I often laugh at the many sarcastic remarks and the happy thoughts , the proud parents , the frustrated singles , the upset married couples. The newly weds , the new parents , its a cool scene. It makes me recall those days when I was upset , or confused or just depressed. Yes, no matter who you are depression happens to everyone. Its how you respond to it.. Me, I fight it and I do things that make me happy, punching a bag, doing my pop lock moves , listening to music,. or simply writing. To me,. writing is a therapy and I do it to share my many thoughts that seem to flow in my head. At times , I have so many ideas and thoughts its hard for me to sleep, so I get up and I start writing. it doesn't matter what subject, life experience,. news events,, etc.. I choose to write and many times helps me make decisions.
In life , we often have to choose career or whats best for you, I know when I chose to join the Navy , it was because I needed a change.. The fact the life long job I wanted , finally hired me.. But guess what? I was like 2 or 3 weeks into Boot camp.. I was stuck,, so to speak,, But i fulfilled my contract and decided to stay Navy. i had to make many decisions regarding duty stations , job assignments,. etc but I just trusted what i wanted and what I wanted to accomplish. For me. I want to make myself and family happy, friends are important , but it those people that mean the most to you that makes life worthwhile.. I know their are people who only like you because you look good , or sexy or what , or you do things for them.. But for me.. a friend is someone that lets you choose what you want and together you live life , I know I have been selfish regarding friendship girl or boy , but that's part of growing up. We all are selfish, who doesn't want their best friend with them forever, but we all know we all have paths to follow or choices to make.. Its what makes life go.. So for those out there , especially Steve, decide what do you want , is the places you were given fit your needs and wants and most of all , Are you ready for change. I know after high school and growing up in San Diego, I wanted to see the world.. I was away from SD for a long time.But I got to see many places and meet many wonderful people.. I made a choice and I am very happy I had the strength and wisdom to overcome any fears or confusions about the future.. Life is one of the most uncontrollable things . I mean we can control our emotions or how we feel , at least we think we can, But life is different every day. We contend with Traffic . accidents , weather,, mother nature , like earth quakes , fires. heavy rains,. snow for some of us. But making daily decisions is always a stressor. what to wear? , where to go ? what to eat ?, Who to make friends with? I know alot of us want to be happy , do what we like and share those things with our face book friends. I think that's one of the greatest things created was face book, I mean we get to stay in touch at our own terms .. What do I mean? Well we post things and our friends can either comment , delete or what at any time of the day and night. You cant do that with phone calls, I know theres nothing like talking to someone , but texting , emailing and face booking is the modern day tool that brings people together.
I often laugh at the many sarcastic remarks and the happy thoughts , the proud parents , the frustrated singles , the upset married couples. The newly weds , the new parents , its a cool scene. It makes me recall those days when I was upset , or confused or just depressed. Yes, no matter who you are depression happens to everyone. Its how you respond to it.. Me, I fight it and I do things that make me happy, punching a bag, doing my pop lock moves , listening to music,. or simply writing. To me,. writing is a therapy and I do it to share my many thoughts that seem to flow in my head. At times , I have so many ideas and thoughts its hard for me to sleep, so I get up and I start writing. it doesn't matter what subject, life experience,. news events,, etc.. I choose to write and many times helps me make decisions.
In life , we often have to choose career or whats best for you, I know when I chose to join the Navy , it was because I needed a change.. The fact the life long job I wanted , finally hired me.. But guess what? I was like 2 or 3 weeks into Boot camp.. I was stuck,, so to speak,, But i fulfilled my contract and decided to stay Navy. i had to make many decisions regarding duty stations , job assignments,. etc but I just trusted what i wanted and what I wanted to accomplish. For me. I want to make myself and family happy, friends are important , but it those people that mean the most to you that makes life worthwhile.. I know their are people who only like you because you look good , or sexy or what , or you do things for them.. But for me.. a friend is someone that lets you choose what you want and together you live life , I know I have been selfish regarding friendship girl or boy , but that's part of growing up. We all are selfish, who doesn't want their best friend with them forever, but we all know we all have paths to follow or choices to make.. Its what makes life go.. So for those out there , especially Steve, decide what do you want , is the places you were given fit your needs and wants and most of all , Are you ready for change. I know after high school and growing up in San Diego, I wanted to see the world.. I was away from SD for a long time.But I got to see many places and meet many wonderful people.. I made a choice and I am very happy I had the strength and wisdom to overcome any fears or confusions about the future.. CHARGERS VS. PATRIOTS WEEK 2 GAME OF THE WEEK..2011
Chargers VS. Patriots Week 2 -Game of the Week 2011..
This could possibly be the Game of the week and after its all said and done the Game of the Year. I know its only the 2nd game of the season, But This is a statement game, Both teams if they play like their capable should win their divisions and have have outstanding records. They both have elite Qb's they have Play makers at key positions and they both are coached very well. The edge going to the Patriots because Bill Belichick is a genius, with some bad luck lately. Like last year 14-2 , the best offense , with the MVP qb Tom Brady, but fail , yes fail to make it to AFC Championship.. Defense or lack of one,. They have old , free agent questionable pass rushers, Albert "attitude " Haynesworth, Shaun Ellis and Andre Carter, but this young secondary is getting torched , I mean Chad" who are you? Henne amasses over 400 yds passing , is disturbing. especially Division rivals , you expect a better understanding of a teams weaknesses or strengths. The Chargers are better than the Dolphins and have play makers at all the key positions, Jackson at wide out, Tolbert and Mathews at Rb, gates (possibly the games best )at tight end , and Bob Sanders(defensive player of the year 07, and Shaun Philips on defense. I expect a high scoring game , but the loss of the Patriots Center Koppen and two other linemen Vollmer and Wendell , makes the offensive line vulnerable to the Veteran defense of the Chargers, who will bring it to the Patriots. If this game turns into a track meet I like the Chargers chances, especially on a short week and a hurt offensive line and a young and vulnerable defense. I see a high scoring affair , decided by a couple of defensive plays like a fumble , interception by the Patriots late in the game and the chargers offense just being too tall , too fast and too strong for the patriots secondary. The Chargers have too many weapons for that young secondary.. Jackson , Floyd, Gates , Tolbert, Mathews, Walters, Mcmichael, Sperry , but I expect Coach Belichick to use a ball control offense , no huddle , short passes and runs , and hope keeping rivers on the sidelines , will protect this young and inexperienced defense protected, but the Chargers quick strike ability and that opportunistic defense will cause turnovers and poor decision(s) fumble or interception thrown by Tom Brady will be the difference. The pressure is on the Patriots, they have been embarrassed the past few seasons, undefeated season and losing to the Giants in Super Bowl and last years beat down by their rivals and trash talking NY Jets. This will be fun and edge of your seat nail biting thriller , that will come down to one or two big plays. Final score 52- 45 , Chargers scoring the game winning td in the final minutes. Wow, what a week? , I see dazzling plays, great plays , and some disturbing blowouts.. I usually start out better than that and I expect better results next week. The first few weeks are unpredictable and with the lockout.. It caused alot of weird happening?
First off, the fear moving the kicks off would change the return games, Guess what same time last year we had 1 kick off return. This season three..
Next, surprising thing was the blow outs.. The Super bowl contending Steelers getting blown out by rivals,, Its one thing to lose , but to get killed by a rival is embarrassing. But word of caution for Steeler nation , you guys are one of the oldest teams in the league , you have also alot of mileage with all those playoff games and Superbowl appearances,, so the long hard hitting seasons, May have caught up with the Steelers..Just a thought?
The Most disappointing plays or results.. The San Diego Chargers Special teams.. They looked improved in the preseason, and they hiring of a fiery Coach , new attitude .. Guess What.. First Kick off , at home The Bolts give up a 103 yd kick off return for touch down and lose their Pro Bowl kicker Nate " THE GREAT " Kaeding.. on the same play,, a bad omen.. We will look back if in the playoffs or Big Game , and the new kicker for the Chargers misses field goals or the Special Teams gives up a TD return,, We are all going to look back to this game and think" Are you kidding me.?" Yes very disturbing and to be honest , embarassing..
The other disappointment in the Indy Colts , falling a part in thier divisional game.. First off , hiring a 17 yr veteran way past his prime , if he ever had one? To lead one of the most complicated offense in the league. I know he's experienced and he will make good decisions.? Yea, he did signing a contract and getting paid, but he inability to take a snap with out fumbling was troubling.. I hate to say it The Colts are in trouble and they are going to draft a franchise QB next season.. For now , Stick with Kerry until he gets hurt or what and then put in Painter,, or heaven forbid,, Get Brett Favre for one last hurrah?? lol//
Most impressive performance this week,..
Tom Bradys record breaking passing performance.. and his 99 yd td pass to one of the best pass catchers in the game today Wes Welker,, Remember Charger fans,, we dropped him and then he went on to be one of the most prolific pass catchers in Patriots history and winning 3 Super bowls.. Wow..
The other scary and awesome performance was done by raider Nation running back RUN DMC- DARREN MCFADDEN.. What a beast , big strong , fast,, kinda like Bo Jackson.. he had a great game and is finally living up to the hype expected from a 1st rd pick.. The other scary performance worth mentioning is the Raiders defensive front. one of the best if not the best fronts in the league.. The years of beating down the raiders are done.. They have overcome the Mental weakness and are the new Bullies of the AFC WEST..
The SOURCE'S TOP 5 TEAMS- Based on Offensive power , defensive ability and playmaking stars on the team..
1. Green Bay Packers- Rodgers is on fire and the defense looks ready to roll.. Favorites to repeat,., They are a power house team..
2. New England Patriots- Brady is still one of the best and has many Play makers to assist him. The Defense is young and the secondary is suspect , but with the Best Coach in the league and the best player,, This Team can win it all..
3. New Orlean Saints- This team is explosive , confident and well coached , they can out score any team in the league,. but the defense needs to step up to return to the SUPERBOWL..
4. Baltimore Ravens- This team is the scariest team, They have a stud running back in ray Rice and probably the toughest , smartest and hardest hitting defense in the league,..Now that the offense is much improved, This team could very well be the best balanced team in the NFL..
5. San Diego Chargers- This team is the most drama filled , teasing team in the NFL. They come up every year as one of the favorites and the most talented team in the league.. The addition of Hard hitting Bob Sanders and Takeo Spikes , the defense is not only making stops but getting turnovers that will help this high powered offense , possibly the best in the league score points. The weakness and what may haunt this team this year , is " Special Teams.. " Losing one of the best and most accurate kickers , not counting playoffs will come back to haunt this team and of course the average to bad special team performances will control how far this team goes..

THE SOURCE WEEK 1 PICKS..
THE SOURCE: NFL WEEK 1 PICKS: Teams in Bold are my picks..
ATL VS. CHICAGO- I like the Bears at home, strong defense will kept scoring down., Hester or Forte will make a big play.
CIN VS. CLE- The battle of Ohio bragging rights, No Palmer , too many distractions and nonsense at cincy , I see a low scoring bu dominant win by the Browns.. Hillis will have a good day!
BUFF VS KC- Yes, the Bills have Shawne Merriman , but little offense , The Chiefs have play makers at the running , catching and special teams , I see a easy win for the Chiefs..
PHI VS. ST LOUIS- A trend here , another home team wins, The eagles have all the stars on paper , but I still don't think it means a Championship run. The Rams are underrated , and because of that , they are gonna play hard to prove they are the favorites to win the NFC WEST.
DET VS. TB- I know the hype on the lions defense and that wonderful QB, IF HE STAYS HEALTHY.. I just like the way Tampa plays football, nothing fancy , just smash mouth , error free football. They cant make too many mistakes , not a big play team , but TB is more consistent than the Young Lions..
TENN VS. JAC- These two teams are very interesting, and The jags getting rid of your PRO BOWL QB, I dont think Coach Del Rio wanted that , he's on borrowed time and trusting a young QB is scary , But TENN is banking on a old vetran QB - Hasselback to get some wins, but without Chris Johnson , I see a close and hard hitting low scoring game , with a late field goal by the Jaguars to win it..
PITT VS. BAL- My first road team to win , and the Might Steelers who are so dominating on defense , will have a pretty good offense this year and I feel that defense will give Big Ben opportunities to score and win this tight and low scoring game..
INDY VS. HOU- Wow, before the season I would pick the Peyton Manning Colts to win this one. But with Peytons future in doubt , the players for the Colts are in for a rude awakening , They the Colts will not have a ball control machine like offense to control games.. I see the Colts , scrambling for wins this year under 17 year vet Kerry Collins. He's not the future and he;'s barely a temporary fix. Its time for the Texans to take over division.. I see Texans win easily at home..
NY G VS. WASH- I think NY is just too strong defensively and Manning is too talented to lose to what I must say is a team rebuilding with a average and questionable QB SEXY REXY GROSSMAN.. I see a ball control run game beat the rebuilding skins at home.. Manning has a big day and Grossman has his typical average day with turnovers and mental mistakes..
SEA VS. SF- I used to live in Seattle , hated it, and I used to live in SF loved it, Alex Smith and new found star Hunter at RB , and the other play makers Crab tree and Davis.. I see a big day against the young sea hawk team.
MINN VS. SD. - ok. I'm biased , I'm from Sunny Diego , but I cant see an Old slow footed and less than motivated Mcnabb do damage to the Chargers. But his RB Adrian Peterson had a record day against the Bolts in 07, but I don't see the same thing happening , if it does than the Vikes win easily. But instead I see the Bolts jumping to early lead and using that Thunder and lightening Rb combo of Tolbert and Mathews, and Todman to grind out and pass easily against a young and suspect defense and preserve a win. Final score 45- 21.
CAR VS. ARIZ- Too many changes at Panther ville -New Head Coach Ron Rivera, New young QB, short practise times.. I see too many things unsolved for the Panthers to go on a cross country trip to Blazing Hot Arizona and beat the talented and motivated cardinals who like the rest of the NFC West feel this is their division to take and I give them a good shot of winning the NFC WEST !!
DALL VS. NY JETS- THE SUNDAY NIGHT GAME!! - ok, the boys always feel like they are Superbowl contenders , and they are a good team. but with a New head coach and defensive coordinator , I see the Cowboys getting whipped by one of the SUPER BOWL Favorites the Jets, I see bal control offense and a stingy defense , earning the Jets a convincing opening day win at home..
N.E VS. MIAMI- Division rivals , but the PATS are loaded and they are upset over last years embarassing loss to their other Rivals the Jets, Look for Brady bunch and co. to come out scoring and playing tough defense , they don't want a close , hard hitting game , especially the following week on a short week , they have to get ready for the high flying San Diego Chargers. The Pats want to jump to early lead, force Miami to pass and make this a fast pace game. I see the Pats winning convincingly , and prepare for the offensive shootout next week..
OAK VS. DEN- Another divisional game.. I know Denver is a mess , but hold on. The Raiders have issues on defense and the offense had trouble scoring . McFadden is such a mystery case and Bush is very good , but is injury prone. Jason Campbell doesn't have his favorite target Zach Miller , and his replacement is not a upgrade , but actually a down grade. The pass catchers for the raiders need to step up.. right now I see a low scoring game with the Broncos winning it with a late touch down or field goal..

McFadden is such a mystery case and Bush is very good , but is injury prone. Jason Campbell doesn't have his favorite target Zach Miller , and his replacement is not a upgrade , but actually a down grade. The pass catchers for the raiders need to step up.. right now I see a low scoring game with the Broncos winning it with a late touch down or field goal..

ok, I made a lousy pick.. The Saints on the road against the defending Super bowl champions at home.. Crazy , but i thought all those off season work outs Drew Brees organized , and all the hype about the saints being better on defense.. yikes.. If that's better than , expect a long season for the saints.. But then again we are dealing with an elite QB Aaron Rodgers and perhaps one of the best receiving corps in the NFL.
The game was really decided early when the Saints got into the red zone a couple of times and only came up with Field goals.,.,they come up with tds on one or all the final score changes, but that's all what if.. In the NFL its all about getting it done, with whomever , or whatever you have. The Saints right now , look like a very explosive offense,, I like how they are using sproles and rookie sensation Ingram, The defense is a work in progress , but then again theirs only a handful of teams with that type of fire power, The Chargers, The Patriots, The Texans, The Falcons , The Eagles, The Saints..
These teams I just mentioned have the ability ot get behind and come back very quickly , The have play makers and quick strike performers and they all have elite QBS..
Final say. Throw out conventional wisdom about the work out sessions, having teams not ready , etc.. Expect the real good teams with good coaching and quality players , do make a run for the Super Bowl,, and the teams with new rookie qbs or old qbs, and new coaching staffs to struggle more than ever this year.

NFL FOOTBALL BEGIN TONIGHT... SAINTS VS. PACKERS..
NFL FOOTBALL IS BACK TONIGHT- SAINTS VS. PACKERS..
ok,, I'm so happy football is back and what a way to start the season. The last two winners of the Superbowl.. You have MVP quarterbacks in Brees and Rodgers, you have play makers on both sides and perhaps a preview of the NFC Championship games.. These two squads are loaded with talent and skill and the notion , they can win it all.
Tonight , I see a crazy lights out offensive show,, great passing and great running on both sides , but I predict a upset with Brees lighting up Lambeau field with screens to Sproles and a modern day Emmit Smith , in 1st round pick Mark Ingram, I see this bigger , stronger and faster version of Emmit - as described by hall of fame running back and two time Super Bowl Champion.. Ingram will dominate tonight when tackling or cohesion on defense is not going to be there tonight. I believe the lock out , the lack of practise sessions , will create big offensive shows early ion the season before defense comes around later in the season.

Safety School- SAN DIEGO SEPT 2011.. inspired from my shipmates..
SAFETY SCHOOL- Inspired by my shipmates..
ok, I'm learning or relearning things about safety. Lets face it , its not a glamorous subject and in most cases we take it for granted and don't think about it.. Until its too late!!
Don't take safety for granted, even though they are short cuts and we rather do something else like , relaxing , playing cards or riding bikes or detailing trucks or cars , working out , Reading my blogs.. We have to pay attention!!
Like disaster preparedness, are we all ready for a disaster? Do you have water , or food stored in your house or apt.,. how about your car? Alot of us. me.. Spend alot of time in my truck. I eat , read, take naps , etc in there,, but do I have spare water or food in case a disaster hits?? Of course not, Should I , perhaps,, Will I do it? ah,, I will get to it later? Oh really? You see what I mean we all think its not going to happen to us.. Its other people on the news,. But we all seen it,, govt aid takes time.. Help takes time.. your life and health may depend on how well you prepare yourself and family members.. Do you have a plan,, like meeting place if something goes down.. ?? What would do if something happened and your at work? Do you abandon work to see if your kids are ok.. Us military folks,, what do we do,, We all know our ships and commands will come first!! But really? not suggesting anyone do anything different.. but who knows what stressors will affect us.. That's why today is the day to start preparing , get water , food, like granola bars , or what,, just to help you get through a crisis for a few days.. Have flashlights , extra batteries, blankets, change of clothing , a a small radio,, generators maybe? Knives, guns? really , like I said, who knows what people will do if they get hungry or desperate , do you think neighbors will share? Will you share.. Criminals,, will they have pity on people.. ? Like i said,, Don't panic and get excited . Just something to think about what if something happens? Are you ready? Life is like a roller coaster , we have ups and downs.. and sometimes the speeds and twist and turns are unpredictable.. Life is wonderful , but it can be so unfair , ask the people who have endure mother natures wrath.. Hurricanes, tornadoes, rain storms, snow storms floods,, earthquakes,,,fires,, etc.. We are blessed living in America's Finest city San Diego and the rest of the so cal scene.. But just take time to think about being prepared.. Start up a emergency kit at home. Buys water , perishable foods, blankets , sanitizers, flash lights , radios.. I mean that little kit may save your life and your kids that i know we all love dearly...Just heads up and take Care.. and Don't Panic!! Just start preparing!! Until my next blog.. Take Care!! Man Caves- Why men need these spaces!! Sept 2011..inspired by men I know.
Man caves- Why men need these spaces!! Sept 2011. Inspired by Junel..
Whats a Man Cave, my definition any place a man uses to unwind , to find his thoughts to do what he likes to do. Most men have garages, or office spaces or even back yards.. I personally use all that , but my favorite spot is the Garage, I have a great set up , Painted Walls Posters of boxing and Cars, I also have mirrors and of course Exercise equipment . TV WITH dvd, a loud Stereo for for workouts,, and pop locking.. I also listen to the radio when I detail my truck.
Now why men spend so much time in these caves, men like to tinker with things, use tools, hammers, whatever, alot of us like doing projects or Restoration work,, yup men can spend hours in the garage doing what women may think as useless waste of time.. I mean , just like their shopping or corny ass reality shows on tv. Men like doing things with their hands.. I like working out and punching my heavy bags and practising my Arnis - Filipinos martial arts and nunchuku's ,, which I have posted on my fb pages and my YouTube account.." mythesource' .. performing or tinkering Worth my truck in my garage gives me relief from daily stresses, I know some guys don't do that , but most of us do.. When our space , just like women need theirs, I'm glad my wife lets me do my thang and leave my man cave alone. I , myself, have decorated and set it up the way I want it.. I 'm still adding stuff to he cave,, but most of all I like the set up,.. The work outs and the detailing I do on my truck gives me much pleasure.. But I also watch videos and at times,. sit there just thinking, I know it sound corny but men need to have time to themselves, and every day especially weekends or holidays , you can find me in my man cave,, working out , or working on my truck , or detailing my wife's caravan,, mamas van,, My kids,, use my man cave because its a fun place to be.. to work out , to play videos games or simply work on their bikes or skateboard repairs.. My cave doesn't have everything , I would like to get more tools, and more work out equipment , but that will come with time and saving money.. For those men that may have problems in your marriage , suggest to you loved one that you need a man cave , a place to your self for reflection, listening to music, or playing music,,or working out or just doing tinkering with projects or cars.. I admire guys that can work on cars, I'm still learning about those things , but I can do the basics, or little more, its good to know about something that takes you to work , or what. That's my story about my man cave,, its simply a place to get away from daily stress and find peace doing things I love to do.. Working out - pop locking , detailing my pride and Joy " the truck.. Ok, history lesson , Labor day was created because of labor unions that were created and the killings the US federal govt committed during the Pullman strikes. President Grover Cleveland proposed the Holiday as a reconciliation of those killed by the US Military and MARSHALL'S..
The first official Labor day observed was Sept 5, 1882 In New York. But became Nationally official 1894.

I hate shopping .. SEPT 2011..inspired by women I know..
I hate Shopping - inspired by women I know..
ok,, Lets face it guys, we hate shopping with the wives , girl friends.. or what not.. Why ? Simple Women in general , don't know what they want. They say I'm only buying this , but they often buy different things , and most times, things they don't need. Like shoes,. oh my god,, women love shoes, it doesn't matter they have a closet full of shoes , if they see a pair they like , they buy it , and guess what they get stuck in a box in one of their many closets around the house. What makes me laugh is when I see my wife's closet full of clothes and then she say she has nothing to wear.. Are you kidding me? I see many dresses short, long , dressy , casual, the same with blouses , etc.. I see clothes that still have tags on them.. Go figure. Guys .. well most of us , we have a plan . we need socks,, we go look for our sizes and what they are for,, sports , dressy , uniforms, we purchase and we are done.. Women, they have no real plan. They say yea I need a dress, but we all know it goes from dress to I need new shoes, new sweater , or blouse, I need to change my hair or do my nails,,, its a constant guessing game. That's why I hate shopping , first off they ask your opinion , you tell them, and guess what they disregard it. Or how about when they try everything on at the store and don't buy anything.. I hate that.. But it goes on and on and for men, the best bet is let the girls do their shopping thing and give them a time and place to meet at the mall. Because I hate wasting time looking at girly things.. I never liked when I was a teenager , and the hell I like it now that I'm a old man,.. I rather look at video games , or sports equipment or automotive stuff. I'm so glad I have no girls , because to be honest I would not take her or give her anything. I would not teach her to learn how drive , I would not buy her a car and I would scare every boy that even looked at her.. Its a guy thing we feel no dude is good enough for our daughter , ad we all know the nice routine is bullshit.. In other words been there , done that!! Ladies , when guys say they don't mind shopping with you , its a lie, we hate it.. We don't like holding your bags or looking at you in different dresses, because we all know you guys don't care what we think anyways so why bother? Anyways , I hate shopping with girls because its takes the whole day.. They can go to all the shops at the mall , and still have energy to do more shopping.. Guys don't like it,, we are inpatient bunch, unless you buy things for us,, but most of the time men rather watch a replay football game than go shopping with girls.. But, you girls always seem to trick us , or catch us off guard , and we accompany you to these events,, and thank goodness for high tech phones with Internet or games , like angry birds, because with out it,, I would go crazy roaming or waiting on you ladies to finish your window shopping.,.
