  Good day to everyone, its another beautiful day on earth. We all need to take a deep breath and just think today , whats important in your life? For me that's simple. It's family , health and financial security. But it seems we neglect that part of our lives. We think , our 401'ks , military retirement and disability payments will be enough? But all we know we need to have our hard earned money make the best rate of return.. Right now the Banks are paying low interest on any account you open. But if you are saving at least that's a start. Its funny when we are young we think we are going to be strong forever. but after living a lifetime in the armed forces, I realize , life is fleeting and time goes fast every day. It seems i never have enough time to do anything. But one thing I ensure every pay day is I save money . Save , save ,save.. because the  day when working is no longer a viable evolution.Your gonna praise yourself , that you saved your money. I know its a simple concept.. save money in the bank.. But their is other ways like. looking for sales,, buying only what you need or the Costco way. buy in bulk.. But one thing people don't think about is life or health insurance.. protection.. protection , protection.. We ensure our cars , our homes, our electronics even.. But we fail to insure the most important asset in any ones life.. yourself. your family.. That's why I use the insurance plans.. because god forbid I get hurt or disabled for whatever reason. By have a insurance policy , I protect myself from unexpected expenses and financial ruin.. I know ,, what am I getting to.. My point is the reason for so many u homeless vets , or homeless anyone is .. unexpected job loss, injury or disability. When something unexpected happens , having that life and health coverage , can be the difference between having a home and not or having protection for your saving or financial security for your family. Life insurance provides peace of mind for your loved ones when you die.. and no matter what you think or believe , we are all going to die.. Why wouldn't you want your loved ones have money for their lives.. But you remember some life insurance policies have cash value.. Ok whats that. that's the money you can take out to use for school, for home improvement , or even a brand new car. Its your money to use and abuse. My take is if you have a need why not use it. But too many of us are not aware of what life insurance provides, that's why I suggest you find or seek out a trusted Insurance broker or investment planner. You may not need it or want it now. buy by having a relationship with someone agent , at least you can call them when you decide or in the market for such services. Its like car work, or window tinting.. or law issues, we all want to know someone to take care of those things. As for me , I rather trust someone that has a expertise and knowledge and makes a living out of it. We ALL have so little time to research concepts.. We rather trust someone already in the field,, so my thought today is smile.. Seek out and trust anyone for whatever services you require, car shop. food shop.. Insurance shop, tax shop.. law shop,,, barber shop.. get my point.. We all have relationships we trust and we usually go there for those services. My thought is this.. Don't wait too long to have a trusted person , examine your life insurance policy or have your investments get maximum rate of return for your money. If anything , start developing a relationships with a life agent and find out whats the best plan for your future, and I know a short demonstration and educational experience , you will be happy you did.. You have nothing to lose other than a 30minutes of your time and perhaps a new way of thinking regarding finances. The worst thing to do , is wait too long.. Save now , then later, because time , once its gone its over,, let today be the day you decide to make changes that will make your life more productive.. Its your choice..  Good day everyone, another great day to be health and alive. Not why would anyone think about health care when your healthy? But that's the point, what happens if you get hurt , disable.. not just physically , but mentally , emotionally.. that's where health care coverage comes into play.. I don't know about all of you. My retirement savings is for retirement years , not for health care needs that may include , hospital care or home care etc.. I MEAN.. the money we save for retirement is for that purpose only.. The New Military-- whats in store?

The New Military - Whats in store?
  I was a part of the greatest navy in the world. The harsh training , the long deployment's away from family and the ability to use guns and self defense techniques.. and mental games. But what about today's navy.. I must admit I struggled with the changes or the new direction it was taking. It became more of a business , more of a cut throat mentality .. and i didn't like it..I missed the good old days of team work, camaraderie's.. backing up one another. But today's navy is so politically correct and image conscious. but you know what.. ? If you want to be part of this new navy.. you need to assimilate.. JUST LIKE THE REAL WORLD. as we would like everyone is on your side.. you need to really pick and choose who to trust if anyone? I know .. making the transition from military to civilian world.. I realize ,, I have been away from the civilian sector for so long. But I'm learning and I'm adjusting to the changes in philosophy.. Its not easy at times i do struggle with this new ideal so to speak. But knowledge is power and wisdom comes from learning from mistakes and learning to take what you got and go with it. I know it seems like a alot of mumbo jumb, but isn't life like that? Don't we all wonder why? Why do things happen to us, like flat tires , or broken items or when your in a hurry it seems everything slows down.. long lines.. or traffic.. and we wonder? But based on my life experience's. we have to keep going and searching and striving.. I know we hear all about the bad news , and sad things we see in life.. But guess what.. You must overcome those things , we must as people do whats best for you and your loved ones.. Nothing great in life just happens.. Just like a marriage , or relationships.. you learn to address whats going on and move on.. I know,, we all have issues and our lives , and we all vent,.. please do.. these stories of people that go beserk.. is based on these fools.. nor venting or have a true perspective.. when you bottle things up.. it like a fire , if you leave it alone.. even how small its gonna get better , so when you have issues with anything, vent, let it out and then move on.. A true leader leads by example and always looks to help others be like them. I like to share my views because I want more people to feel free to speak out or write out because its what it means to be a human being. A true person , who cares about humanity , always looks to help and always looks to be better in whatever venture or project they work on. I like t think we all the same agenda, but we know that's not true. But don't let others ruin your dreams or your aspirations. But also remember everything takes time.. Like my early years in the navy.. I never thought,, or could imagine the growth and pains i went through to achieve my aspirations. Its wasn't a easy road, but it was bountiful one, and the pains and suffering I undertook , were just steps in my evolution and progression as human being.. As for those in today's military.. I say,, be patient and be flexible in what they are going to do.. Because you should think about family and security and not your own selfish needs.. because if you decide to last it out.. You can have the many benefits and monetary comforts if you just wait it out and be patient with the dealings of the military.. I know when I was in.. many times I thought is this worth ? But after completing my time ad now getting all the monetary awards like retirement pay, disability pay. gi bill. cal vet benefits along with all the other discounts services for being a veteran.. I now realize , The life I have is wonderful and I'm thankful for everything I have or don't have.. But the most important thing to remember is your family is first and anything else is nothing.. oh.. of course your health is worth more than any monetary considerations..because if your not  healthy it can cause much pain and misery , not only to yourself.but  your loved ones and your financial.. stability.. The New Military is evolving and changing its agenda,, and for those that want to succeed, you must be flexible , and be ready for everything .. Its not a easy tasking , but for those that survive and prosper.. I greatly appreciate your service and I pray for your continued health and passion to protect the rights and principle that many Americans have died, suffered and defended this great nation The United States of America.. I salute you all and I want you all to give it the best you can and many of us.. including a retired veteran , do respect and give you the utmost support for all you do!! May God Bless you all and may you have the power and desire to fight each day with honor , courage and commitment.

My 21st Wedding Anniversary . Inspired by someone I know..
  Wow.. How quickly time flies.. Its now 21 years and counting, I think the most amazing thing is how amazing anyone could stand me for 21 years.. Either they are crazy or half blind.. or truly in love .. you know the old saying love is blind.. and to be honest its true.. I mean.. we all have hang ups , issues , quirks.. whatever, but your partner , deals with them.. If they forgive an forget that's how you survive a marriage , but if you cant' its a struggle.. Thank goodness <my wife forgives , maybe not forget , but that's her protection mechanism so she doesn't get hurt. But in life I realized,, even you most loved ones or so called best friends will hurt and abuse you.. and you know something , if someone really loves you they are blunt and say and do things that are for reals and hurtful..Because they want you to see the light or the weakness to your ways.. As for me.. I have many weaknesses , I love to have attention, I love to be around people and I love to talk,, and many times all the time, that makes some people happy and other jealous and envious,,But you know something, It doesn't matter what others think, because unless they are paying me a check or paying my bills, Their opinions , are like assholes.. Everyone has one , and they all stink.. hehe. But anyways. back to my tribute to my wife. She has been the most influential person in my life. When I was dating back on the day . I dated anything that can move and dance and looked great in a mini skirt and such.. and spent my pay checks like running water left on.. I was working for dates than saving for the future. But when my wife came into my life,, She changed my outlook=, my perspective , my desires in life. and after all these years I have 2 wonderful boys and a beautiful home and my dream car and my dream career. I'm part of a team that looks after me and encourages me when I get little nervous or concerned about things. don't we all. But its my wife that is my rock, my foundation , my true lady in my life. I want to live the rest of my life with her, not some wanna be actress or Barbie doll looking woman that should realize , those days are gone. But to each is own, I mean if people want to be a spectacle of themselves at conservative events. to each is own. But I know I'm better than that , I'm not ashamed I'm a middle age man that has served over 20 years of Military service . I was schooled and humbled by the experience , but through it all , it was my truly great wife that helped me get through those years and helping me deal with our times , right now.. To My wife, I'm so thankful we met and married and raised some of the greatest kids ever. My home , my life , my friends my passions are all revolving around my wife, If not for her , I would take on things I thought I could ever take on. But her support and her critical views are always stimulating to my own insights and ideas. I know now more than ever. That my wife is my everything and anyone else are just distractions or useless desires that wont do anything but destroy you. My true love , my true calling is wrapped around my wife and family and anything else doesn't matter . and because I think that way.. I feel that's why we have been married for a wonderful 21 years and counting.. I love you babes.. and I see  long future and we will overcome all as we grow old.. To my rock , my foundation.. I thank you for supporting and loving me and together we  are going to make our families lives a productive and loving one!!

Wisdom Wednesday .. May 7,2014...
    Tips for getting organized for professional and personal life..
1) Take notes .. Always take notes , even if you understand something.. notes will add to remind you or to verify you understand what you learned.
2) Keep notes organized whether its a actual note book, or binder and or computer notebooks , like folders , and or One note which is what I use.
3) Keep your notes updated , always check on what you learned or what you heard. Because things , rules , regulations all change from day to day or even .. month to month.
4) Make a daily taskings list and work on the most important or whats due.. In our very busy scheduled its easy to forget , neglect or simply overlook things , but having organized details of what needs to be done daily , keeps you going on the right track and eliminate any confusion
5) Keep a calendar either on your phone or lap top or hard copy and make sure they match, nothing worse than making an appt on one calendar ad not having it listed on another or booking appts at the same time,,, It never happened , but I can only Imagine the mess..
6) Have a file cabinet with dividers for all your paper works.. Its the best way to keep things in order and for easy retrieval.. Especially if one of your family and fiends needs advice or tips .Having a handy dandy binder with the tips , applications , and points of contacts , can and will make a big difference.
7) Lastly, Don't try to do too many things and enjoy the moments with family and friends. We are all so busy with job, careers, school , kids, house chores,, It seems there is never enough time to do everything  But having organization and not redoing things over and over because we didn't keep good notes , is in my opinion ,,why we waste so much time.. By being organized and detailed, you eliminate needless research or double work.. and Get on with the program so to speak.. I hope these tips , techniques.. advices all help or guide you in life. Because we all need help from one another .. so Go out and have a great organized day and I hope all these tips will help eliminate double work or research and get everyone on the road to organization and time management.. FIT FRIDAY- THE COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER FITNESS..2014..

FIT FRIDAY - THE COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER FITNESS..
 Well its Friday May 2, 2014. Lets get fit for this summer. For those who haven't worked out for awhile.. Check with your dr.. and when you do start slow.. The problem some of us ,, do is start too fast and strong and we hurt ourselves.. take a break,, then start again. Its better to be consistent and steady than fast and furious. remember health should be a happy habit and not neck breaking. For me. I do a lot of cardio,, dancing, martial arts punching bag , bicycling.. as for weights I do a little , but  don't like the stiffness or soreness I get after the workout. I prefer stretching yoga and flexible limbs than big muscles with no endurance. Just me.. I rather have muscles small and can work longer , than having big showy muscles wit no endurance.. Its been my motto or frame of mind since I was young kid.. Well I urge all of you to just get up  take a day walk or a nighttime walk,, Strength while your watching your favorite tv show,, and just do what makes you happy.. Me.. I do my cardio at home and LA fitness.. Sometimes I need inspiration at the gym.. if you guys know what I mean.Nothing like eye candy right..?? look but don't touch.. concept.. well anyways.. The weather is great and summer time clothes are coming back. so I suggest we all get up and work out and look good for the summer.. My goal,, Look and feel good by July 4th 2014.. I know that's some 60 days or so away. But I feel by having a consistent work out plan.. we all can do it..

My workout schedule

 MTWTHF- 2 hours a day.. cardio.. treadmill/ boxing / bicycling.... dancing --
Every other day I lift weights -- arms- chest - shoulders - back -.. I alternate workouts and I use a lot of reps and sets.. than low rep and sets.. I increase weight when it becomes to easy.

I also stretch out before after the workout 
Get plenty of rest and hydrate with water.

My challenge to all my face book family and friends is go out and start a program and be fit for this summer and for more summers to follow. I know you will feel and look better and become the healthy you,, Now get up and start and Lets see what we all look like in 60 days!!! Get up and do it.. Until my next blog.. Take care always..

Black beauty attention grabber- May 1st ,2014..Inspired story ..
  My muscle car attracts too much attention.. Today someone slammed a shopping cart into my bumper and  on the free way.. A undercover followed me and  went beside me to indicate slow down.. Was I scared.. not really my radar detector didn't go off and I didn't hear anything on my police scanner , But nevertheless - Black beauty attracts attention. In fact , I hear code words" radar rider on patrol.. Cop- Citizen on patrol,,, when they talk about beauty. Now is that good or bad or should I be alarmed I'm labeled. But heck having a muscle car already labels you and if you don't like attention, don't bother with a muscle car.. Because you have every tom dick and harry wanting to race you or challenge you.. and on a few occasions have seen THE CHP bust these jokers.. But nevertheless I should calm down. But when you have a car that can run fast How can you not drive fast.. Today I was driving in excess of 120 + AND it felt great passing cars and such but I also know I shouldn't press my luck too much. But for now I'm enjoying the thrill of driving fast. Now .. I know I shouldn't take chances but I do.. and I also know at such elevated speeds one false move or mistake could mean life and death. Then why do muscle car guys and gals do it.. Well I must say ,because we can. because we have a high powered machine that makes driving fun.. But I also know .. I should think safety over fun.. and such .. But I also know that he older I get , the more times I want to enjoy driving fast,, Because father time will soon take over and I will be a granny driver.. you know the types.. two fisted grips on the steering wheel.. head and eyes up against the windshield,, and driving 55 mph in the fast lane.. Who me? Never. I will always be a aggressive and fast driver and I will always enjoy black beauty even in my old age. Now if I do manage to get old and still driving a muscle car,, I know I will have many stories to tell.. Like today or months ago when a undercover cop came up on me , only to realize that I wasn't speeding when he approached me.. Instead he heard the thunder or my exhaust system.. that made it sound I was going 100 miles per hour,, when I was only going 60.... I still can get that funny feeling I had looking in my rear view mirror and watching their faces look at one another .. with " What the hell? looks. But it was fun.. watching them pull around me and speed off to nothing.. Because no one was speeding and they looked silly. But that's black beauty,, she likes to tease and please.. and that day was one of those days.. and I will keep you informed if beauty creates more stirs.. But one thing is for sure.. Theres nothing like pure ower and exhilaration when driving high powered muscle car.. if you don't have a muscle car,, I suggest you get one , and drive it daily. My car is that..A daily pressure I can never get enough of..I'm addicted to black beauty and all her desires,, Like racing down the freeway, or cruising through Ortega highway on y way to orange county or simple driving around town. beauty not only attracts but makes people look , gawk and stare,, and I love every minute of it.. Attention grabber and my pride and joy.. I never have a dull day when I drive her around and she always performs and never leaves me unsatisfied.. Shes the perfect mistress, ready and willing to please everytime I turn her on.. I have nothing but fun and pleasure every day I take her out.. She's a perfect date and ride and I'm enjoying the rides of my life.. so next time your on the 1-15 OR 1-5 805 ,, or what in SOCAL,, and you see the baddest looking dodge challenger with red hashmarks.. wave and smile because I know your gonna enjoy how she moves in traffic.. fast amd smooth...
