BUCS AT FALCONS-The Falcons could be very well be the best team in the NFL. Sure they haven't been killing teams , but they have been the most cconsistent of any NFL TEAM. Now they will rest some players after building lead and cruise to convincing win at home..
JETS AT BILLS- The Jets pretty much threw in the towel by benching turnover King Sanchez,, and They don't trust Tebow.. The Bills are little better , expect a boring low scoring game..
RAVENS AT BENGALS- This is truly the game of the week. The Battle of the AFC North powerhouses.. The Ravens are a mystery team this year, Play pretty good at home but struggle on the road. I like the home team , the loud crowd and the better running game to win a close one..
BEARS AT LIONS-The Cutler effect, he plays well at home , but on the road in a dome loud arena.. Jay gets hit early and often and makes a ton of mistakes.. The Lions have been a disappointing and mystery this year , but give the fans a a treat.. with a convincing win at home.,
JAGUARS AT TITANS- two bad and inconsistent teams.. A toss up anyone can win this one, But I see Chris Johnson having a big day with big runs , while the jags prepare for a long off season, and many changes..
TEXAS AT COLTS- At one time the Texans were one of the elites. But lately they have been exposed especially Schuab, get him out of the pocket and he's not the same. Foster is playing hurt and not as effective,, The Colts are a up and coming team with perhaps the Rookie of the Year in Andrew Luck.. What luck for the Colts , having Manning Perhaps the games best ever QB, to the second coming of Manning.. I like the colts to win at home and make a statement for thier playoff run..
PANTHERS AT SAINTS-The Panther beat the Raiders but who doesn't The saints have one of the best offenses despite missing their head coach.. The defense is another story, They played better last week, in a close road win in over time! I like the Saints in another shootout!!
EAGLES AT GIANTS-The Superbowl Champions look spent and unfocused,, Superbowl Let down , perhaps, or they just had too many distractions and a long season to repeat. The eagles were the early favorites this year to do new things , but were major disappointment,, they are like the Chargers of the east Coast,, Unpredictable. and Never the champs.. l like the Gmen to bounce back and give the eagles a whipping!!
BROWNS AT STEELERS-The Browns play hard nose , error free football and are always in the game.. The Steelers are not the same team of yesteryear, Big Ben is make bone headed plays like Rivers,, mainly because of that weak and inconsistent offensive line.. But I like the Steelers to get back to ground and pound and some play action to end the season on a positive winning note, if not a playoff one..
CHIEFS AT BRONCOS- The Chiefs are horrible , the cellar dwellars of the AFC WEST.. The Broncos are the best of the west and perhaps the hottest team in the AFC. MANNING is playing like the legend he is., Amazing year,, possible MVP or Come back player of the year or both,, He is clicking and has probably a better rounded team than the Colts SUPERBOWL WINNING TEAM..
PACKERS AT VIKINGS-I know AP and the vikes are one dimensional, but what a dimension,, and the Packers were torches by AP.. over 200 yards,, he needs that type of effort to become one of the greatest runners in history.. I'm a Big Eric Dickerson fan, and would hate to see that amazing record broken,. But AP is showing what type a player he is.. Last year he suffered what many thought was a career ending knee injury,, Only to come back better and stronger than ever> Go figure!! I like the Vikes , to ground and pound and keep the Packers waiting their turn as the Vikes , control the clock and tempo...
DOLPHINS AT PATRIOTS-The Patriots have Tom Brady and that great offense, But that defense like the saints is very questionable. The Fins play tough , hard nose football,. But on the road ,, I like brady Bunch getting in gear to make another SUPERBOWL RUN..
RAIDERS AT CHARGERS-The traditional season ending rivalry..? Well the Charger fans like to call this " THE CALIFORNIA BRAGGING RIGHTS SUPER BOWL..!" Yea,, hip hip , hooray.. Both teams have been miserable,. Both QBS , have not earned their pay this year and to be honest have digressed. Both defense's can play well, But the offense or lack of consistent attack has hurt both teams.. The Raiders like always make emotional , mental mistakes and I see them doin the same in this season finale.. It will be a loud crowd,, and the chargers will find ways to win,., Mainly depending on their defense for turnovers and great field position. Rivers just need to play a mistake free game..The chargers win..
CARDINALS AT 49ERS- The Niners were spanked by division rivals Seahawks,, The cardinals have been very dissappointing and against a angry and motivated Niners team.. I see the Niners bounce back and dismantle the inconsistent and ready for the holidays team..
RAMS AT SEAHAWKS- The hawks could be that gamblers dream team.. They are young aggressive and don't realize they are not supposed to beat the elite teams.. coach Carrol has the young and talented team playing well late in the season. Russel Wilson is another candidate for Rookie of the year, and could possibly be the Sleeper and most dangerous team in the NFL PLAYOFFS!!
COWBOYS AT REDSKINS- The boys lost a heart breaker at home , and now have to gather themsleves against a very good Redskins team with RG3 .. another rookie of the year Candidate and perhaps one the games most exciting player. The Skins are a hard nose team and at home , with the crowd and an exciting offense. I like the redskins to win this big game at home,.,.As for Romo.. We al know how he fares in important games.. Like Rivers of the AFC.. they don't play well under pressure and when it really counts..

My last day on the USS PELELIU . SEPT 17,2012..
My Last day on the USS PELELIU SEPT 17,2012, INSPIRED BY ERO9 Division..
Gosh, It seems it was only yesterday , I finally ended my days on last of its kind platform.. My years on that ship were some of the most memorable , painful , frustrating , yet fond times of my Navy career. My rants and raves at morning quarters in the haz Mat division , and my one and done indoc lecture.. fired because I was called unprofessional!! i guess the truth hurts.. When a someone has more guts and passion for their jobs than alot of the New navy Officers and such running around.. But I have no qualms or issues with them.. They don't know the life I led and lived. The pains of the Persian Gulf War , the planes crashes and picking up the debris and dead pilots form the ocean. The many deaths I seen in the heat of the Gulf and on board the many ships I have been on. The Suicides ,unfortunately too many successful ones.. The drunks falling of the liberty boats.. The Bar fights .,. Yea.. My class of sailors.. " The ROUGH RIDERS !" are gone. But that's another blog..
Now back to my last day ,, it was an emotional day. I dressed in my Peanut butters and arrived on board to say good bye to my last division on board ERO9.. Great bunch.. ROSSO , CORY.. ABESCIA, COLEMAN.. WHIT- TAKER.. just to name a few .. if i missed your names, please forgive.... I'm terrible at names.. but you guys were special to me.. I had a rough time on board because I tried to instill my in your face ,, tell it like it is demeanor.. Like Cory.. we are old school.. You don't have to ask us to fight.. twice.. You challenge us ., its on.. But I learned alot from these guys and gals... They were hard workers, well most of them. they covered for one another and they were happy to work together,,. Too bad the rest of the crew didn't work like that.. The problem with the crew is.. too many Perception driven. image conscious.. ass kissers.. But hey.. its cool. I arbor no ill towards, ut good luck when or if the real shit hits the fan.. Words of advice.. people respect leaders that lead by example and earn your respect than demanding it.// Ok.. enough of my soap box lectures.
As the time came closer for the ship to go on its last deployment before decommisioning// I said my good byes and shook hands and hugged my fellow Shippies.. At the time i didn't realize how much I was going to miss the kaos. the craziness of ship life.. As much as I cursed that life style , I know realize I thrived on it , It made me a passionate go getter.. i also realized it was special because I got to experience the worst of what the navy is all about.. long deployment, fast deadlines.. prt issues, the advancement pressures and all the other image related demands " the New Navy wants to insert.. " I am what I am and that's all the I am.. I'm old school to the max.. I tell it like it is.. But this new sensitive ass , me , myself and i navy.. or my Nickname" THE HIP HOP LOLLIPOP NAVY.. another blog.. In short this New Navy is more into their Ipods. or video games and still yearning to be a child , like the lollipop days.. a bunch of spoiled,, and entitled generation.. Or My other Nickname.. THE LOST GENERATION.. if anything I came up with alot of terms and such being on board this ship. The Marines were something else too.. Its too bad they cancelled the Martial Arts between Navy and marines.. I wonder why? Did I scare them? haha. I don't hit and tell.. !! But anyways.. As I made my way off the ship with the other families and pretty ladies.. and wave good bye to the ships as it sails way.. I had a Great big smile and I reported to my next shore command FISC SAN DIEGO.. and after a quick intro.. I drove off in my BAD ASS BLACK CHALLENGER... cranked up the Hard heavy Metal Tunes.. Van Halen's Panama...... I had a joyous time .. Until the CHP clocked me at criminal speeds.. 100+... Oh well.. Stay focused.. and drive safely... Unless you have $ 400.00 ready to burn.. I suggest you dont speed and weave!!! oh.. I Now have a state of the art radar and scanners.. No tickets since then.. I still advocate safe speeds on our highways!! Take care !

My Beauty Secrets- Inspired by Johndee..
My Beauty Secrets- inspired by Johndee..
I was at the Family Annual gathering at Casa Braunagel .. and one of my favorite relatives,, who is loud and proud like me,,.asked me.. How did you get such long and thick hair at your age? I smiled and said humbly.. Good genes.. perhaps But I also used Mane and Tame..which is a Horses Shampoo Product.. Its sold at Horse stables around San Diego... but I found some at Von's In lake Elsinore,, and of course I didn't hesitate to buy and use,, I also do a magic trick ,, so to speak.. where I condition my hair first,. yes,. not shampoo.. Shampooing,. actually dries out and damages your hair and the follicles.. so instead of doing that I conditioned my hair first.. let it soak, then rinse.. shampoo.. then conditioned hair again.. I don't use hair dryers unless I'm really in a hurry , but I'm retired,, so I don't use it.. Why? Because it dries up the hair and damages it .. so if you can don't use hair dryers. and if you must ,, use the cool air function and keep it moving along your hair.. Now... Hair spray and gels clogged up the follicles.. // if you must use sparingly and after a long day.. wash it out... let it set in at night .. yes..damages your hair.. I like to use oils.. and I use it sparingly..
Now for my skin.. moisturizers, creams , lotions. and drink water.. nothing keeps your complexion and skin feel better than being hydrated... I drink tons of water. well I workout alot, but drinking water is good for the skin, kidneys. and it also curbs your appetite.. which when you get older,, Just thinking about Junk food makes me gain weight.. haha, But for reals These Little tips have help me retain a younger and stronger body.. I feel reborn since retiring.. I know I have more time to pamper myself.. Oh yea.. I also soak my feet with relaxing salts.. and moisturize , moisturize.. I also shave daily.. and I wash my face daily many times.. Its all the dirt , smog.. and sweat during the day that messes up our skins.. so wash , wash ,. wash.. and moisturize, moisturize.. simple.. enough. oh yea.. One more thing.. I drink Green tea and take all the essential vitamins. and I love drink juices rich in vitamins... Its seems simple enough and it is.. But you have to make an effort to do these things on a daly basis.. Beauty , like Muscle.. Takes daily training.. I work out every day and I stretch my body like a Yoga Guru.... It keeps me strong and limber.. Strength comes from flexibility , not size.. So stretch , stretch.... stretch.. and of course hydrate , hydrate , hydrate. and oh yea.. Get plenty of rest and sleep and avoid stress and take time to meditate and relax your mind.. Listening to music, reading and writing or listening to music is nice.. BUT QUIET TIME.. like sitting in a room. and just breathing and feeling your lungs and body.. Get in tune with one self.. When the weather is good. Most of the time In so cal. I go into my zen like , Palm Tree back yard , with a water fall fountain and I just sit there relaxing , listening to the water fall for a few minutes or more..

My Best Christmas gift- 2001- Misawa,Japan
My Best Christmas Gift - 2001 Misawa , Japan...
It was two days past Christmas and in a snowy , cold night in Misawa, Japan, My youngest son was born Martin austria Paras = MAP.. He was a skinny baby but handsome.. I was so thrilled to be blessed with a another boy and witnessing the actual birth process was a experience in a half.. My first and My last time I want to see that.. Why? Well it was the scariest time of my life , because My wifey nearly bled to death and My son has lung issues. So , soon after his birth , I had to travel to Okinawa Japan, for Emergency baby care.. It was tough to leave my wife, she was clinging to life , but my son was in the same boat.. So imagine , In a instant I was on the top of the world ,, to the next feeling of helplessness and fear.. So off I went through a blizzard storm , riding in a rough plane ride.. I hate flying anyways , and it sure wasn't comforting that i had to deal with turbulence and the crying of my son all the way to the Island's..
As soon as We arrive.. < full blown code blue. Lights and sirens. ambulance took Marty and myself to the Baby intensive care.. I saw other babies clinging to life and I thought Oh My God, Whats the final conclusion to my sons ordeal.. Yes, for the first time in my young life I was scared I was going to lose my son and wifey.. I was depressed and anxious. But I was also tenacious and aggressive.. I made sure those Nurses took care of My son.. I made sure they fed him on time and the meds were administered. Yup.. The yelling or demanding nature was in full force.. They the Nurse may have thought I was a Asshole..But Guess what ? I didn't give a rats ass what they thought. This is my son and anyone who has kids and love them.. I know you would demand such treatments.. I made a promise to my lovely wife.. Mona , Hang on and live I'm coming home with our son.. Gosh.. I'm tearing up just retelling this sorry.. But this is real life,, Its no joke.. At times you have to make sacrifices and be committed.. I didn't sleep well during those times and I spent alot of time with my son.. Sure I made time for myself.. and enjoyed the sights and sounds.. of the Island. But My main focus was My son Marty was going home healthy strong for Mona..
After weeks it felt longer , My son Marty recovered , like his father , he fought and battled back.. I'm was so happy to see him alive and well. For the Nurse.. they became attached and they even cried and kissed me on the cheek and wished us well. I gave them heartfelt hugs and off to Misawa, Japan and brought home and started 2002 and a Good Note.. My son Marty and Mona recovered and were living life with family that came to Japan.. Uncle Wilbert and my loving caring sister in law Gladys.. It was a great time, they cooked and cleaned and gave us great comfort and support.. I will never forget what they did for us in our hour of need. Wilbert and Glad I love you so much and I can never repay you for all that you did during that time and now.. Those were much needed times with family that cares.. and to this day.. DEC 27, 2001 is the Greatest belated Christmas gift I will ever have.. It gave me a new feeling for the Christmas season.. Since years ago I lost My mother in law Mamang and my beloved Mama , Maring.. Now if that's not a heart warming and best Christmas, than I don't know.. ???! TAKE CARE AND MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

Yes, for the first time in my young life I was scared I was going to lose my son and wifey.. I was depressed and anxious. But I was also tenacious and aggressive.. I made sure those Nurses took care of My son.. I made sure they fed him on time and the meds were administered. Yup.. The yelling or demanding nature was in full force.. They the Nurse may have thought I was a Asshole..But Guess what ? I didn't give a rats ass what they thought. This is my son and anyone who has kids and love them.. I know you would demand such treatments.. I made a promise to my lovely wife.. Mona , Hang on and live I'm coming home with our son.. Gosh.. I'm tearing up just retelling this sorry.. But this is real life,, Its no joke.. At times you have to make sacrifices and be committed.. I didn't sleep well during those times and I spent alot of time with my son.. Sure I made time for myself.. and enjoyed the sights and sounds.. of the Island. But My main focus was My son Marty was going home healthy strong for Mona..
After weeks it felt longer , My son Marty recovered , like his father , he fought and battled back.. I'm was so happy to see him alive and well. For the Nurse.. they became attached and they even cried and kissed me on the cheek and wished us well. I gave them heartfelt hugs and off to Misawa, Japan and brought home and started 2002 and a Good Note.. My son Marty and Mona recovered and were living life with family that came to Japan.. Uncle Wilbert and my loving caring sister in law Gladys.. It was a great time, they cooked and cleaned and gave us great comfort and support.. I will never forget what they did for us in our hour of need. Wilbert and Glad I love you so much and I can never repay you for all that you did during that time and now.. Those were much needed times with family that cares.. and to this day.. DEC 27, 2001 is the Greatest belated Christmas gift I will ever have.. It gave me a new feeling for the Christmas season.. Since years ago I lost My mother in law Mamang and my beloved Mama , Maring.. Now if that's not a heart warming and best Christmas, than I don't know.. ???! TAKE CARE AND MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

THE BRAUNAGEL CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER 2012..
The Annual Christmas party was a blast.. We had a Ginger bread Contest, but The Paras Castellina(Castle in Italian) Entry was eliminated because of too much , over the top.. Outrageous!! But the usual suspects were in full effect you have the drinkers talking about the same old stuff.. high school days. what hell raisers they were, the demise of America , and other raging topics.. Then you have the Navy Retirees with their inside jokes. I must say 20 years of Navy life and sea life,, does do something to your psyche... It makes you mental.. I mean think about it.. You are asked to follow a very strict set of rules and grooming standards and told what to do and when to do it.. Its a humbling , depressing , and often times. frustrating way of life.. If you love your independence and having family around.. Then the Military or the Navy is not a great way of life.. Especially with all the stress about weight standards , and progression. The years at sea is that,.,. Lost time.. Those missed birthdays, and wedding anniversaries and such.. catches up with you. YOU miss the Love and bonding you would normally have if you were home.. To be honest,..I wouldn't or couldn't be a military spouse ,. male or female.. I mean your spending a great portion of your life.. On your own.. Is that really what people want.. and if you have kids.. then that time with wifey is even less bonding.. no wonder when divorces and such happen.. Its the kids both spouses really fight for.. But as much as I love and adore my kids.. I really want them to grow up and leave the Nest.. It sounds mean.. But I really want to travel and spend time with wifey without worrying about what my kids want.. I know they love me because I'm a great pop locker , break dancer and a comedian.. But I also feel like I dedicated a lifetime to bring them up.. I 'm looking forward to watching my youngest son go through the cycles of life that I did with my eldest...and I will enjoy it.. But I'm also looking forward to just being with wifey .. Its what the Golden years is all about..
But the Annual parties and the usual groups doing their things.. Its really special bonding that is emotional and at times sad.. Why? Well I see many of the kids growing up and not being kids anymore and we have teenagers with attitude and dreams. and then you see the nieces and nephews... just drifting through life.. I know they are still young./. But in today's fast pace and expensive life style.. You cant waste too much time deciding what you want to do.. Time is fleeting and fast.. When you are 24 and up.. Its time to be done with schooling and begin thinking about Marriage and raising kids.. or such.. But the longer you wait , the harder it is to have everything you want..
I feel like I have done all I wanted to do,,, Serve this Great Nation.. Marry well and raise good law abiding , God fearing kids.. with goals and aspirations.. Have my kids disappointed.. oh yes.. daily, weekly , monthly.. But I still encourage them. But it hurts to see relatives that are not getting their lives in check.. But Hey like the football season.. Maybe Next year ?
Lastly , time is fleeting and fast.. and I know when all the kids grow up and the rest get older .. and Move on.. These get togethers will be less frequent . and the chaos will be less and a sad reminder that our lives are going the full cycle.. Like anything in life , nothing last forever and .. all great things come to end.. But for now.. This annual party will be fun and caring because Its fun to see the kids growing and becoming the adults .. all parents want form their kids.. Its not monetary materialistic objects I want from my kids.. I want to be happy and find peace in their lives as they pursue their hopes and desires. I Know I have lived a very thrilling and productive life and as I transition back into the civilian life.. I know I will have another thrill seeking , fun and joyous time, because that's what life is all about.. Overcoming struggles, learning from them and challenging New problems.. and becoming that true human being. Its a process we all go through.. and right now I'm enjoying it with this very loving family and of course my close friends that make every Christmas not just spending time together but a time to bond and grow and become better people.. Enjoy my loving family and looking forward to our traditional New Years get together.. Yes, The jokes, the stories and my eagerly anticipated pop lock performances , make The paras get together.. fun, exciting and entertaining.. Take care and enjoy the Holiday season!!

WHY WE LOVE OUR RIDES.. INSPIRED STORY BY STEV B..
Why we love our rides? Simple it brings us happiness and pleasure in our lives.. In this day in age of video gaming , and social medias and Internet surfing.. The Car remains a passion for many of us as the most basic hobby or in our cases a way of life. If you love cars you love the whole experience. The whole vibe.. of Car shows, working on engines or detailing and making our rides looking and performing well. To many of us its not just a vehicle fro practical and reasonable reasons.. We car crazy guys and gals.. Owning and maintaining a vehicle is a responsibility its a way of life. A car represents who we are.. In our cases we are what we drive.. Be it 4x4 truck. low rider, Cruiser , Luxury , classic.. Hybrid.. economy.. what ever your passion its the way you think about life and such.. Its hard to explain our passion,. because you either love cars or you don't. I mean love in that we enjoy making our rides perform and look as good as possible. I know my neighbors know my routine... My cars are always looking good. I'm not saying I detail on a daily or weekend basis.. But when I have a chance to keep it running and looking good I will do.. Like I said its a spirit and passion we feel for our rides.. That's why we give them names.. Usually female names because guys like to think a Car is like a women.. Shes riding fine. Because a woman , like a car .. acts and performs the way you take care of it.. The personality of the car is usually how the person is? If the driver is a clean freak the car will be super clean inside and out.. If the person is a performance junkie they will have all the accessories like headers or mufflers and intake systems all used for the sound and performance for Muscle Cars.. Its a representation or extensions of our persona's. The old adage you are what you drive is so true.. If cars mean nothing to you,,, Then you buy the plain Jane economy cars with great mileage and practicality.. Which is fine and dandy.. But for the real car enthusiasts. Specialty rides are the thing.. low Riders.. Classics.. trucks, or Muscle Cars is what makes us tick. Not everyone can be Car guru or a car nut.. Its a bug or virus that hits you at a young age.. For Me.. I grew up with the 56 Chevy Bel Air and 66 Chevy Impala cars and I would love to own both them and restore them to classic originals..
BUT.. I already have 3 bad ass rides ,, but that's another day and a another blog story.. Now back to my passion.. Cars , Cars < cars.. Its a way of life , the way we drive our rides , the way we detail them , the way we feel about our cars.. Talk to any Car guy or gal.. The spirit and pride in their ownership is better than any other passion.. Dog lovers , Bird lovers.. lovers in General.. The car lover passion is over the top.. Nothing is more contagious and invigorating than watching or speaking with someone who loves what they drive and why they do it.. I enjoy Muscle Cars because its totally different ride and feel. It has a attitude , like myself.. Muscle Car guys don't make compromises.. we are throw backs to the old days.. The more the better, The faster even better. I know speed kills, and reckless driving causes deaths and such.. Well I cant defend clowns that drive that way. But on a lonely highway or race track.. Going fast and the pulsating power up and down your body is second to none.. Its like a scary , ride at one of your amusement parks,. But in this case, you control the longevity and speed of your enjoyment. Why We love our rides? Like i said its a part of life,. a way of life. a state of being, a chance to express our selves.. Its a responsibility , and its a virus that infected us at a young and influential age.. But guess what Point a and point be car drivers.. Take a chance and ride in a Muscle Car , or show car , low rider or what and see and feel the passion of the driver and owners.. The smiles and emotions we have for our rides is awesome and who knows.. Perhaps.. who knows.. ? Maybe you can be one of the thousands of car lovers that feel owning and driving a car is more than practical means of transportation.. Its a way of life. Its a passion , Its our rides !! Its why we love our Rides.. Its Makes us Happy to be alive and looking forward to driving our ides every freaking day!! ENJOY!!

FALCONS AT LIONS- The Falcons and Matt Ryan are playing winning football, not b lowing people out but playing smart winning football. The Lions are not, expect a shoot out , but I Like Matt Ryan , and his passing game to have a big day and make another statement about being a true contender.
SUNDAY
SAINTS AT COWBOYS- The saints and Drew Brees had a Field day scoring 41 pts against the Bucs, but the Cowboys are playoff contender and showing signs of playing like one.. Expect a high scoring shootout , but The Cowboys prevail because the saint defense is just that defenseless.
TITANS AT PACKERS- The Packers are a elite team, the Titans are not and on the road Chris Johnson will have his trouble in the cold tundra they call Lambeau field.. Rodgers will have a good day and get in gear for their playoff run...
COLTS AT CHIEFS- The Andrew Luck show will have a big day,,. The Chiefs are in a funk.. They have many issues and this late in the season players may be fighting for their jobs.. I don't see a close game at all, Colts win easily..
BILLS AT DOLPHINS- The Dolphins won easily last week against the jaguars, and the Bills were blown out by the seahawks.. At Home the Fins are tough, it is a divisional game , but the Bill players based on last weeks effort are prepping for the off season..
CHARGERS AT JETS - The Chargers laid a egg in front of its home town crowd.. Blown out and really pathetic effort,, But If mark Sanchez the leading Turnover King , just 3 ahead of our own Rivers.. I gave the Bolts a chance.. But they benched him for the rookie,,, and a pissed off Tebow.. The Jets are out of the playoff picture , but Sexy Rex Ryan has plans for the misfit charger offensive line .,I see a Jet easy win and more heartache for the Charger fans,, as they watch a another poorly played and bad game plan .. Whats new Bolt fans,, well one thing is for sure The Nervous Norv turner era is over , including River? Time will tell..
REDSKINS AT EAGLES- THE RG3 SHOW.. He is the most exciting ROOKIE qb IN THE LEAGUE , sorry Wilson of the seahawks and luck of the Colts.. RG3 can do it all and do it all very well.. The Skins are the surprise team of the league and may do some things in the playoffs..
BENGALS AT STEELERS- The battle of AFC North rivals.. The Steelers just have not clicked the whole year.. Big Ben has been injured,. the defense has been a emergency room ward room.. Its been a up and down year... At home expect a good fight, But The Bengals as a team are playing better football.. The Red rifle and his Bengals secure a hard fought game.
RAMS AT BUCCANEERS- Sam Bradford and the Rams had a shootout with the Vikings Adrain Peterson and the Ram defense was torched..The BUCS were humbled by the saints by a whopping 41-0 score.. I see both team bouncing back and playing better, At Home I like the Bucs as the rams seem to play better indoors..
RAIDERS AT PANTHERS- Cam Newton blew and embarrassed the Chargers on the road.. I expect a similar fate for the floundering Raiders.. The Raiders make too many mental mistakes and on the road against an explosive offense . I see another blow out win.. as the Raiders start thinking about off season plans.. and perhaps the finale game with rivals,. The San Diego Chargers.
PATRIOTS AT JAGUARS- The Patriots lost a heart breaker at home against the Niners.. The Patriot defense is not that good, Tom Brady is saving this teams chances for playoff success. I see a high point total as they punish the Jaguars ..
VIKINGS AT TEXANS - THE AP show and his record breaking pace.. Can he do it? The Texans are still fighting for that number 1 seed in the Afc playoff , Does the defense want to take a punishment dealing with ADRIAN THE BEAST PETERSON.. ? I think they will not want to have injuries and save themselves,, AP will have a big day but Matt Schaub will have a bigger one.. AP will have his big runs , but the Texans at the end will hold off the one dimensional Vikings..
BEARS AT CARDINALS- The Bears were 7-1 at one point., now they are 8-6? What the heck? Well I call it the Cutlet effect ,, Check Broncos years , The Bears need a win on the road,, Sorry bear fans , The Cardinals in the loud venue will score early and often and Cutler will fall apart like he always does on many years past.. This could be the end of the Lovie Smith era?
GIANTS AT RAVENS- The Gmen were embarrassed last week and this week play another questionable Team.. Joe Falcco is good but not elite, everything has to be working for him to win.. The Gmen are upset and have a dangerous defense that is pissed off and ready to prove themselves and I fell they will. But can this off and on team do well in the playoffs. I think not!

49ERS AT SEAHAWKS -Two power house teams i the same division.. At home the seahawks have the 12th man working, it will be loud and clear .,, I like Kaper he has the it factor and needs to show it again on the road... Both defenses are stellar , but I like Kaper over Wilson in a dog fight of a game and perhaps the game of the week,. This could be the Year Bay are fans have been waiting for since their last SUPERBOWL WIN..

At home the seahawks have the 12th man working, it will be loud and clear .,, I like Kaper he has the it factor and needs to show it again on the road... Both defenses are stellar , but I like Kaper over Wilson in a dog fight of a game and perhaps the game of the week,. This could be the Year Bay are fans have been waiting for since their last SUPERBOWL WIN..

My two ladies.. Inspired story from Car guys..
My two Ladies,.. Inspired story by Car guys.. BLUE BABE AND BLACK BEAUTY..
I own or one paid off truck and the other will be in six years or less. Well anyways I have have to lookers. That's is cars or trucks that make you take a double take.. If anything I have great taste in Cars,.. Like the Movie Transformers.. Often times the Car picks you.. In my case. I like to think I made the car look good..
First off the Truck.. A SUPERCHARGED 250 HP. lifted 4x4 WITH all the trimmings.. Wide , large tires, the fender flares that give the truck a agrressive mean look. Of course I have all the Nerf bars front , back side and on top.. It has the Mean grille all black and that big bumper in front.. It also has those over the top head lights... LED with more power at night.. I get people pissed when they think I high beaming everyone..one dude even tried to get out of his car , but I stayed in the truck.. ready to defend myself,, I guess he knew better he got back in his little car.. oh well,. anyways.. My truck looks the part.. The wheels are chrome with wheel locks.. if you don't know what that is.. basically its a very unique circular steel that wraps around the wheels..Its looks real cool and I get tons of attention because of that.. It has also has tinted windows and a loud booming to the beat stereo.. Leather seats.. etc.. Its a looker for sure.. But..Its has its down falls.. poor gas mileage, poor handling,,, it feels clumsy and slow on turns.. and its a truck.. I mean.. It has the luxury feel inside ,, But it rides rough and attracts too much attention. Bad or good ,, sometimes it's gets too much attention.. But I know the shiny Electric Blue color scheme with the aggressive fenders gives it that sexy but aggressive look. And like I said earlier it rides like a truck.. the tires hum too loud. and the ride is rough.. But then again its lifted 4x4 with mudder tires.. But despite that I love this truck.. It's a classic in my mind,.Because of its mid size frame and its 4x4 look of the 8o's,, It reminds me of my first truck many years ago.. Its a cool feeling driving my truck.. I mean its practical.. It serves to haul things like Christmas tress , or junk from the house to the junk yard,., or going on fishing trips or hikes to the mountains.. snow or otherwise.. Its a everything driver and it can handle all terrains.. I like that part.. But like I said ,, You have to drive differently with that truck than you would a luxury cruising car or a performance Muscle car.. You have to stay focused driving a truck.. People seem to undersetimate the speed of my truck .. I have had too many close calls.. I mean how many SUPER CHARGED FAST TRUCKS are really out there/.. Just a few.. So the masses ,. getting surprised when I roll behind them so quickly.. But then again.. its a truck. and Its does serve its practical purposes..
Now My other ladie.. The SUPED UP OVER THE TOP BLACK DODGE CHALLENGER V8 HEMI.. 475 HP.. WITH INTAKES.. AND MAGNA FLOW MUFFLERS.. which probably puts it over 500 HP// NOW this ride is fast and furious and has the luxury feel of a mercedez and the looks of the classic Challenger of the70's.. I love this car,, It has everything and power, performance , looks and practicality.. Its a wide hipped narrow front end Beast I call" Black Beauty" , She loves attention and always ,makes me happy.. She's always ready to roar down the road.. Like some of my female relatives. no names. but she likes to show off and perform.. I love how she handles everything I throw at her , like mountain winding roads , or wet raining highways. or even. Lonely roads up her in Temecula Valley.. It gives me all the driving pleasures of all my favorite cars of the past in one great machine.. I love how I feel when I crank this car up and take it for a spin.. and the many on lookers,, do too,. I get so many thumbs up and smiles when I drive by.. and I have alot of comments to,, How much was that? to, What is that? to.. What a beautiful car? Like I said,, My wifey hates the attention this ride gets,. But she trips out when I talk about Beauty.. Its like I'm talking about another women.. I say she handles well,. performs on que and is sexy and comfortable.. The leather seats and all the gadgets inside makes this car not only a Muscle Car , but a luxury car with that Muscle Car look.. Like I said many times.. What else do you want from a car? fast , sexy and practical.. Its gets good gas mileage,,. under cruise control conditions and has that luxury feel and ride , thanks to Mercedes Benz technology on the suspension and interior.. Black beauty has won me over.. At times I feel sad for Blue babes.. the truck.. But My true calling or Dream Car.. Was always a Muscle Car.. I would love to have a 70's Challenger. ,, But I think I did that with this retro looking Muscle car , with todays technology.. I have the best of both worlds.. and I'm enjoying every moment of it..Its the tale of two Rides,. I love them both and they both have their perks.. But My heart and soul belongs to my new Love.. President Obama's Gun Control Plans..
President Obama's Gun Control Plans.. Inspired by Gun Owners..
Enough is enough! Is what I gather from his speech , lecture plans of attack.. I understand the Gun Owners argument. I own guns legally and lawfully , but I also lock them up and don't bring them out for show and tell purposes.. Its called being a responsible and accountable Gun owner.. Keep your guns locked up and secured from family members or anyone.. I blame gun owners that don't keep their guns secured or unaccounted for.. I believe Guns don't kill people , Dum ass people use guns to kill people. But I also agree with the President, we need to take control of this issue.. Do you really need a semi automatic assault rifle? And if so. How many is enough? We have become a dulled society about death , especially senseless killings.. Oh. the jokes , well that's the small town problem.. Bull shit its a every city , everyone problem.. We cry , bitch , and complain.. But how many of us really do something about it. Except lecture our kids and family. and Practise what we preach.. But most of us don't take any further than that. Why? Well we have jobs to take care of.. Mortgages and bills to pay .. Kids activities to attend. In others words we Must go back to Rat race existence.. I applaud Obama's plan of attack.. I know the GUN owners don't , but I understand , but at least he's making efforts to correct a very dangerous times in America.. It sure doesnt help media and social media,, enhances and embraces such tragedies and give that 15 minutes of fame to those that want to engage in extreme acts of violence.. CABLE TV. Internet , you tube and others are just devices that sick , weak minded people use to make a last statement to become famous.. I hate the new technology and what has done to society.. But I also understand in the hands of responsible and accountable people , Technology can be used for greater needs.. The time for change is now.. Gun Control, Parenting and coping skills.. Teaching the youth of today.. That problems are a part of life , its a journey we must face.. I know I have and still do face troubles and tribulations that often make me question my existence or why The Creator is doing this to me.. But guess what? I move on, I'm a problem solver a solution finder. I find ways to get ahead! I strive to be a better person.. I treat people with respect.. and for those that don't return my kindness.. Its ok.. I'm happy and your not.. I'm not going to let you dictate my goals and ideals.. I like to be around fighters. I mean.. Not just boxers, or such , But people that fight for whats right , whats correct and whats fair.. We fighters need to keep up our beliefs and let those that have low morals and ideals to break them out of their trends.. Everyone deserves the ideals of life , liberty and pursuit of happiness.. But the problem is too many folks get lost in Media outlets,, video games to waste their lives away.. Life is so fast and fleeting and your existence can be gone in a instance,.Because of drunk drivers or insane shooters.. We need to Practise Peace and love that the hippy generation of the 69's and 70's preached,., That generation was a great one,. and I'm proud to say I'm a child of those folks.. The whole Muscle Car era and the garage parties and openness we shared is a lost time.. But as a Child of that era.. We are obligated to bring that those times to our kids.. and Teach them well about life's troubles.. and how to deal with the,, No one is immune to failure or disappointment's , but the true winners are the ones that get back up , dust them self up and get back into the fight or life.. Its what life is all about.. Life either makes you or break you.. and to many times We are witnessing too many quitters and losers in life that want to ruin the existence of life with their cruel and unusual punishment,.. The Acts of terror must stop.. Not only for the families who have suffered but for Mankind in general.. and from the looks of society.. My First Hot Rod 77 Pinto
My First Hot Rod 77 Pinto? by Mel Paras
Yea, back in the day.. the olden days.. When cars has personality like the Camaro's, Mustangs, Mopars,, I always wanted one.. My dad owned a 56 Chevy Bel air and a 66 red Chevy Impala Hot rodded out.. But I was told I need to earn money for my car.. I was 15 years old at that time, and I thought whose gonna hire a 15 yr old.. Well thanks to my Calculus Teacher Mr Chang.. He or his mother owned a Chinese restaurant called " Chang's Rice Bowl.. Boy I had great times there, but that's another blog.
Back to my story,, well I used to work at the restaurant after schools to save up money. But by the time I was 16 and ready to drive I didn't have enough to get those cool cars.. WE,basically I used too much of it on clothes and stuff..
But my time came and my budget or my mama's pleading led me to this 77 Pinto.. yea not a true muscle car , But I made do.. I lowered it and put racing shocks and tires , painted the wheels black and put other engine inducing stuff in my suped up v6 ,, I must admit that car could move pretty fast. i mean I was ticketed alot.. But the fact the car was my first is what made it so special.. I recall how I had a alarm, a club.. used to lock the steering wheel,., used to be popular back in the day.. Well I also had a ignition lock.. It was lock a locking device that wrapped around my ignition.. and a I also had a gas pedal lock.. Yup.. One of my friends joked its harder to get into my car than Fort Knox... Crazy huh. Well I loved that car.. I mean it was shocking Halloween Orange with White racing stripes and white spoilers , body kit all the way around and a booming loud ass stereo.. Man.. I had some good times in that car.. the tinted windows,, and the back seat that could lay down like a bed.. Oh I forgot is was a station wagon.. ' I called it the Dragons Wagon"", oh what imagination I had. But I took that car every where Vegas, Frisco.LA. HOLLYWOOD AND YES EVEN TJ.. But like anything or everything else.. It finally died out on me.. I did blow the engine once and the transmission twice.. But I drove it like a race car.. For sentimental reasons I might want one again. But for driving purposes Hell no!! A orange car.. !! Now that's weird.. Its funny my buddies were willing to paint it another color.. But I said No.. I guess I liked the over the top color.. I guess I was Flamboyant!! To be honest I could not see myself driving that car today.. But like life.. Owning cars is like a journey.. You drive and learn about what you want in a car and always move up.. But I must admit ,, my friends nust have tripped out on a Orange , dragged out wanna be Hot rod.. with a booming to the beat stereo,, If anything it was a ripped out car.. and it was the first taste of having a car.. and many years later .. now .. I finally have the muscle car I always wanted.. with distractions along the way.. several trucks. a luxury Nissan Cefiro and a Crappy daily driver Saturn//. I went from driving a FORD - FIX OR REPAIR DAILY OR FOUND OR ROAD DEAD.. TO A MOPAR= MOVE OVER PEOPLE ARE RACING!! Yea, My first Hot Rod.. She wasn't pretty or easy to look at, BUT it gave me the taste for a Muscle Car ,, that ultimately became a reality.. Until my next blog.. Enjoy life..

My weight Control tips. by Mel Paras..
I know the holidays are here and How dare I to try to restrict what you eat? But that's the deal I want you to eat well and enjoy those goodies.. But in between you have to work out,, Out of all the gimmicks and diets I have tried.. Nothing works better than a routine work out schedule that includes at least 30 minutes of cardio.. -Walking , biking , jogging , dancing or what get out or get up and just do it.. Even watching tv.. I do sit ups or push ups on the breaks.. I know it seems silly but sometimes we need to make time to exercise.. I have the usual weights, punching bag , treadmill and sorts, But alot of the times I get great workouts in front of my big screen tv.. doing isometric exercises.. like pulling on a rope or having it looped around my foot and just pull and stretch.. Its good exercise and its controlled by how much tension you create..
Now,.. get off your butt and get started,,, you don't need long 3 hour workouts like I do,, a simple 30 minute a day stretching or what will be fine. IN addition drink tons of water,. it curbs your appetite and also clean you out.. It removes the toxins from fatty foods or processed foods.. Oh yea.. lay off or control your processed foods -= junk foods. Nothing puts on weight faster than fast food , junk foods and alcohol.. If you must ,, then like me.. I do the 3 hour workouts.. to maintain a firm and fit figure..
Is that good advice or reminders.. I feel we all need reminders now and then. I'm not inventing anything new,, Its all been said and done. The key is do it.

I know the holidays are here and How dare I to try to restrict what you eat? But that's the deal I want you to eat well and enjoy those goodies.. But in between you have to work out,, Out of all the gimmicks and diets I have tried.. Nothing works better than a routine work out schedule that includes at least 30 minutes of cardio.. -Walking , biking , jogging , dancing or what get out or get up and just do it.. Even watching tv.. I do sit ups or push ups on the breaks.. I know it seems silly but sometimes we need to make time to exercise.. I have the usual weights, punching bag , treadmill and sorts, But alot of the times I get great workouts in front of my big screen tv.. doing isometric exercises.. like pulling on a rope or having it looped around my foot and just pull and stretch.. Its good exercise and its controlled by how much tension you create..
Now,.. get off your butt and get started,,, you don't need long 3 hour workouts like I do,, a simple 30 minute a day stretching or what will be fine. IN addition drink tons of water,. it curbs your appetite and also clean you out.. It removes the toxins from fatty foods or processed foods.. MY loving man...based on true experiences..
My man is a complex man, a man of many moods and attitudes. At first , He may seem arrogant , loud and aggressive , but when you get to know him.. He's a loving caring and yes, sensitive man. I know he sounds too good to be true and to be honest , at times I think he is.. I mean when I least expect it , he does wonderful things, I just make hints and suggestions and the next thing you know he does it. Like replanting plants on our wonderful landscape, or repainting rooms or what. I think or suggest and he does..
But he also has a temper, especially when he feels deprived or mistreated. He likes to treat people like they treat him. If you treat him rude he can come back ruder? But that's his style,. Fight fire with fire,, He saying is, How do you take care of a man with a gun... With a bigger and powerful one.. haha. But anyways.. I love my man, at times I don't understand his moods, but that just him, I feel once you understand he is a moody guy.. creative guy, the better you can deal with him. But I know some folks are turned off by his demeanor and I must admit I get turned off at times. But then he comes up with funny faces or jokes to offset that. I know I spoil my man I mean A tricked out Truck and a Muscle car and all the clothes and shoes of his desires. But I love him and the fact he wears them or uses them well makes me happy. I'm a simple women.. well i like to think so,, But I just want my man happy.. He is truly a loving man.. I love the way he handles my boys and how he shares good times with them whether its break dancing or wrestling or playing football. I know my boys appreciate a dad that likes to play.
During the holidays is really special.. He always has kind things to say and treats me like a queen. We both share a common bond.. We both lost our loving mama's during the same times of the year and I know he has affected both of us.. Deep down inside we don't enjoy the holidays as much as years ago.. I mean how can we,, We lost the most important women in our lives and it seems it was so close to one another.. Right when we thought we were good then he loses his mama.. and my hubby took it hard it took years and alot of issues , fights at his commands and near separations. I know those days are gone. But often times , when alone and reflecting back.. I yearn for our mama's to be with us.. They left way too early... But like life you never know. and because of those losses, we learned to enjoy life every day.. Because you just never know when the last day will come. I know the Holidays are upon us and my loving man likes to entertain guest.. at our humble home. He seems to get a kick out of entertaining and retelling stories and years gone by,,, well he is a great story teller , comedian.. and I'm looking forward to to his recreations of the past.. I love my man with all my heart and I know he loves me dearly.. Together we have built a great life and I'm looking forward to his new endeavors like going back to school and learning a new career and reinventing himself.. I like everything about him. especially his new found patience and maturity... Its refreshing and exciting. yes.. indeed I love my man .. and I cherish our times on earth.. Because as he has said many times,, We need to enjoy each day because it may be our lasts..

My First Brand new Car.. 1985 Toyota TRUCK..
My first brand new car.. Toyota truck.. 4x4..Inspired story from my mama..
My first brand new car.. was this shiny show room display truck.. It was a beautiful Midnight blue TOYOTA SR5 4X4 LIFTED TRUCK.. with chrome wheels and bumpers.. Just awesome.. My dearly departed mama .. wanted to buy me this new truck because I just graduated from College and entering the work force.. Plus I think she hated my suped up wanna Muscle Car be Pinto.. Its funny I always wanted a Muscle car. But .. She talked me into a truck.. and I looked at all the trucks back in the day. Chevy's , fords. Gmc.. etc.. But this Toyota on the miles of cars just caught my eye. and that whole day and night we negotiated. argued .. played games and finally got the deal my mama wanted.. She was tough and stubborn. she wanted a full tank of gas, she wanted it prepped and waxed before we drove it off. She wanted all the protection plans and of course she wanted a low price.. She was ruthless. But in the end I got what I wanted and the dream truck was mine.. It was so fun driving it home with my brother.. We took turns driving it home.. It was fun.. and the day I bought it.. will always be one of the happiest days of my young life.. My mama is still my favorite woman. and that day she displayed how important I was to her.. I will never forget that day.. But I do regret that I didn't keep that truck for sentimental reasons.. because I did so many things in that truck.. off roading, cruising car shows.. dates.. parties withe friends.. It was my daily driver.. the show truck on weekends.. the beach cruiser.. the off road beast.. Yea.. It did everything I ask it to do...But the years of neglect.. I was stationed over seas Japan for years.. tore that truck apart. It rusted out, it faded and it almost caught fire when I tried to jump start.. It had many issues , electrical,. tons of rust and mildew.. It didn't look like the truck I used to drive.. But.. I let it go.. I mean I had new Cars.. Dodge caravan.. Saturn and a new 4x4 Nissan to takes its place.. but it was a sad parting.. But as the years go by.. and if my budget permits.. I would love to get hold on another truck like that.. Restore it and have it as weekend warrior.. but if not I have the many pictures and memories I blog about and have in my mind.. Yea.. That was a cool truck and the many girls I took out with that truck.. said the same.. I mean I used to drive that to TJ's.. to visit Tillys.. a bar ,, alot of my classmates used to frequent.. Man, I miss those days.. those were the glory days for sure and my times I had with my bad ass 4x 4 will always be cherished memories.. and I will share in future blogs,, But the day I purchased my first new car will always be cherished , because My mama was the teacher and mentor and how to purchase a car.. which came into play many years later when I bought my New Muscle Car the dodge challenger... One thing is for sure, the memory of buying your first new car is always a memory that I will cherish and never forget.. Because the reason behind the purchase.. Its was my mama saying " Great job and good luck to your future,, and to that,.. I love you mama and I miss you dearly... My memories of you and that special day will forever stay in my heart and mind...

NFL - NO FIGURE LEAGUE??
NFL- NO FIGURE LEAGUE.. DEC 17,2012..
The NFL , has been so unpredictable this year and guess what? That's what the NFL wants.. You think they want games to be easy picks.. The Vegas odd makers and gamblers alike,, don't like it but its truly a hard thing to do.. Yes.. picking games.. I have success because I don't rely on odds or injury reports too much.. I look for trends and tendencies and of course quarterback play and head coach.. Unfortunately we have teams that have questionable quarterback play and poor head coaches.. Yes. some head coaches make great coordinators or play callers but lousy lead men.. One in particular Nervous Norv Turner..
Yes, for the past 6 years the fans of the Chargers have had to deal with his Career loser.. check his record with all his teams.. He took a contending dominating Team and in less than a few years has dismantled and degraded this team into one of the worst organized teams in the NFL.. Last Sunday's surrender was embarrassing.. twice at home the Bolts have been embarrassed and had their butts whipped in front of hard working paying customers.. That's a great way to inspire fans to renew their season tickets or vote for a new stadium.. The fans at San Diego have been the most snake bitten , heart broken, lied too, etc fans in the history of sports. We as fans have seen so many great athletes come and go and many have Won Superbowls... else where?? Fred Dean , Drew Brees, Rodney Harrison, and chances are guys like Michael Turner , Wes Welker , former Chargers are going to have their day in the sun as Champions.. To think Takeo Spikes , now a Charger is now seeing his last team the niners , probably going to the big game and winning it all. The Niners beat down of the patriots at New England.. was impressive.. But life goes on.. and for us few remaining charger fans.. We cant wait until the end of this dreary season.. We will have a new coach or coaches, and GM.. and a change of players..
No figure league, yes indeed, I have never seen a tie game and we nearly saw multiple games like that . I have never seen lousy teams upset elite teams , more than this year.. Its that kind of year, I wouldn't be surprised the 2 6th seeds winning it all.. Redskins and Bengals in the next Superbowl. Don't laugh its been that kind of year.. and that's whats so frustrating for the Bolts. because out of all the years under Turners reign, this looked like the year a underachieving team like the Bolts could finally sneak in and win it all. But like many seasons past.. The Chargers were their worst own enemies. The digressing of the team. the poor decision making and poor play by Rivers has been frustrating and the Cryan Ryan Mathews experiment should be over.. He broke both his shoulder blades and doesn't have good vision or makes wise decision's on the field. He looks the part,, big arms and legs, tattoo;s and aggressive running style.. But he lacks the burst or confidence of a elite runner like AP... oh well.. Did anyone think he was going to be the Next LT.. are we crazy?
Yes, I grew up with dominating teams .. like the niners, steelers , cowboys .. dynasties.. But now.. its a crazy league where One team can be great , and the following year .. be the worst.. Check the Saints or Lions this year or even the SUPERBOWL DEFENDING GIANTS.. struggling.. or the steelers losing more games this year than previous years put together.. But its what the league wants and it makes for any team next year feeling good , if they get their act together.
Charger fans. don't fret,. we will have a new coach and new attitude and lets see what happens.. But it doesn't help Manning is in the AFC WEST. BUT we have to deal with it.. I still see the Chiefs and raiders looking to find themselves.. As for the rest of the year.. Parents need to be Parents.. By Mel Paras...
Parents need to be parents!! I know alot of us including myself like to a friend , a buddy a playmate to our kids.. Nothing wrong with that,, But when you have to make the tough , hard line decisions , you need to separate yourself and do it.. Speeches about sex, education, future goals etc.. Are very important.. I',m a easy going guy until I get upset or disappointed.. I have high expectation's for my kids.. Pressure.. sure.. But its not over the top.. I know and we all know how kids are.. We used to be kids many years ago,,Kids need pressure , need deadlines. Need Support , Need communication. We as parents have to display that daily, weekly, monthly yearly.. We are the guides for our kids.. The use of TV, DVDS, VIDEO GAMERS is not the answer.. Too many Parents think My kids are ok.. They have have the gadgets and what not to keep them busy.. Sure.. But nothing will ever replace a true parent ...parenting, talking , getting to know the kids.. our children is the future .. Don't you think we need to spend time with them.. I know I spend alot of time with My Muscle car.. But I don't hesitate one bit to support my kids activities, Spelling Bees , School performances.. Field Trips Pep Rally's , Football games.. I make time , because those moments I share with them is bu idling bonds and creating great memories that my kids will share when they grow up and become a great parent like me.. I know I hear the stories My parents didn't do that for me, or what not.. Same with me.. I had a work alcoholic Gung ho Navy dad.. Who cancelled shore duty to go to sea all the time.. I had a Mama who was Left with all the demands of being a great mama.. BUT kid's NEED BOTH POINTS OF VIEW.. How to be a man.. How to treat women ,, How to work around the house etc.. In today's complex world.. more than ever we need two role models.. Yes,,, Us.. Parents .. we need to be our kids focal point.. their point of information and advice.. My kids love me dearly, but they also know to tell me things.. Right or wrong.. I want them to share their ideas and thoughts.. But we all know kids have secrets . but guess what that's normal;.. Kids are always defiant to authority at time..s Its called generation gap.. But the problem wit me.. I like today's music and stars.. I'm a impatient , and easily bored person.. As much as I like Classic old music.. I love today's new sounds too.. It must drive my kids crazy that papa is too hip.. or as one of my sons friends called me " Gangsta".. maybe because of my Muscle car or the rap tunes I listen too. But believe me.. I'm not afraid to challenge my kids if I see something wrong with their fb postings or attitudes.. I care about my kids first.. I could care less about others.. Because as Parents you should parent your own kids.. If your kid is messing up.. As a parent.. show them the right way,., correct them at that spot.. Screw that time out bullshit.. or psychological games.. Be straight .. Kids respect that better than playing mind games. But that's me. I'm old school. I like to be in your face .. This is how its gonna be.. Its not easy to be a parent , but we have a moral obligation to teach our kids the right way.. Sadly , we have to many parents that think giving their kids all the gadgets and what not.. will teach them to be good.. If anything I see spoiled , entitled lazy kids that have no idea about working hard and earning everything you have. I'm proud of all my accomplishments, I didn't ask or want to ask for help from my parents.. I can proudly say All my Dream Houses , Cars and Wife was due to my own search and journey into life. My advice be a parent and don't leave things to chance.. Parent and teach your kids the way,. Because they are the future. and based on alot of the tragedies happening.. The future is scary!!

I know I spend alot of time with My Muscle car.. But I don't hesitate one bit to support my kids activities, Spelling Bees , School performances.. Field Trips Pep Rally's , Football games.. I make time , because those moments I share with them is bu idling bonds and creating great memories that my kids will share when they grow up and become a great parent like me.. I know I hear the stories My parents didn't do that for me, or what not.. Same with me.. I had a work alcoholic Gung ho Navy dad.. Who cancelled shore duty to go to sea all the time.. I had a Mama who was Left with all the demands of being a great mama.. BUT kid's NEED BOTH POINTS OF VIEW.. How to be a man.. How to treat women ,, How to work around the house etc.. In today's complex world.. more than ever we need two role models.. Yes,,, Us.. Parents .. we need to be our kids focal point.. their point of information and advice.. My kids love me dearly, but they also know to tell me things.. Right or wrong.. I want them to share their ideas and thoughts.. But we all know kids have secrets . but guess what that's normal;.. Kids are always defiant to authority at time..s Its called generation gap.. But the problem wit me.. I like today's music and stars.. I'm a impatient , and easily bored person.. As much as I like Classic old music.. I love today's new sounds too.. It must drive my kids crazy that papa is too hip.. or as one of my sons friends called me " Gangsta".. maybe because of my Muscle car or the rap tunes I listen too. But believe me.. I'm not afraid to challenge my kids if I see something wrong with their fb postings or attitudes.. I care about my kids first.. I could care less about others.. Because as Parents you should parent your own kids.. If your kid is messing up.. As a parent.. show them the right way,., correct them at that spot.. Screw that time out bullshit.. or psychological games.. Be straight .. Kids respect that better than playing mind games. But that's me. I'm old school. I like to be in your face .. This is how its gonna be.. Its not easy to be a parent , but we have a moral obligation to teach our kids the right way.. Sadly , we have to many parents that think giving their kids all the gadgets and what not.. will teach them to be good.. If anything I see spoiled , entitled lazy kids that have no idea about working hard and earning everything you have. I'm proud of all my accomplishments, I didn't ask or want to ask for help from my parents.. I can proudly say All my Dream Houses , Cars and Wife was due to my own search and journey into life. My advice be a parent and don't leave things to chance.. Parent and teach your kids the way,. Because they are the future. and based on alot of the tragedies happening.. The future is scary!!

SHES= SANDY HOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.. inspired by actual events.
What a sad day for America, the Nations and the world.. When a disgruntled, misguided and Evil human finds solace or what in Killing his own mother and innocent kids.. I have seen alot of horrific and tragic things in life and my Military career,,. But nothing compares to this senseless , useless and evil act of terror.. The Many lives he punished for eternity is unreal.. The Survivors have to deal with losing friends, classmates,,, forever..Ther innocence is gone.. How can they recover? How can any parent explain this to any one? Its just pure Evil.. Its sad , but true but their is evil in the world.. and alot of times.. We all cant see it or prevent it. Why? Because they , the killers look like us. They function and are among us? Thats scary, to think at anytime.. At the Mall, Movie theatre , streets , and now schools. Some evil doer can do this? It makes no sense and to be honest I have lost faith in humanity.. This happens way to many times to call it , just freaks of nature.. Its a troubling trend,, that these evil doers seem to enjoy.. Because?? The Media makes them larger than life.. they cast their names out and plastered the destruction they created,, and thus in my humble opinion , planting the next seed , when some depressed, evil person.. decides to make his mark.. or to leave his mark.. I thought technology and social media was suppose to make our lives easier and happier>? Instead you read and hear about Internet bullying, stalking, rapes, murders.. threats.. etc that has created a social Media monster ... alot of us .. don't understand.. At least I don't.. The theories about syndromes. and past child hood experiences. Bull shit.. If you are so weak minded that you let things that have happened years ago.. or the stresses of life.. or conditions.. Believe me I have meant alot of mental people in the military and they don't go out murdering their fellow soldiers.. or what.. Why? Because we vent.. we yell. and yes fight one another,.. we let our our gripes and deal with them.. This sensitive kindlier politically correct world.. is not working. I see more troubled youths screaming for help on face book or what then ever before.. The world has become a impatient and uncaring world.. We figure everything is going to alright. But kids today are faced with alot more stresses than when I grew up.. The pressure for a career, the pressure of finances or the fear on life affects the youth today.. I'm not gonna lie.. I often times wonder when I watch movies or walk around malls. if those trench coat guy or girls walking around are lugging weapon's under their jackets,... or if the the guy you cut off in the road is not going to follow you and shoot you or try to ram into you,.., Yea. road rage.. Its maddening and its a sad reality about life.. Things like what happened in SHES' could be another reminder we have troubles in America and the world.. We need to talk to our kids and teach them to speak out and let your your frustrations.. This politically correct, time out shit ain't working.. I'm old school.. I like to vent , yell and let people know how I feel.. and if someone want to throw down,.. I'm down.. If I deserve a ass whipping so be it.. But alt least I'm not going to pick up one of my guns and go on a rampage.. I know better. love my life , my wife and my family. I rather get my ass kicked then killed.. But that's me.. Its the season to be jolly. Yes.. Indeed.. When things go well.. For Me.. Since MY mother in law and Mama died many years ago.. Christmas time has always been tainted.. and sad.. Ti be honest ,,,, Because of those heartbreaking events in my life.. The season of jolly is actually the most trying and stressful times.. Why? Because of the women I adored and loved are no longer here.. I'm not a jealous person. at all. But when I see or read stories of folks enjoying times with their mama's. make me smile but also reminds me of the void I have had for so many years.. But because I have kids.. I pretend , I act like Christmas time is the greatest time of the year.. I attend all the parties and put up the happy go lucky act.. But to be honest.. Its one of the saddest times of the year for me..
Now.. after serving 20 years in the Navy. I get the ultimate stress,, I didn't get paid on pay.. First time in 20 years.. Its stressful, its depressing and to be honest its scary.. I realize Now.. That I,m a pay check away from being homeless or what? The very people I make judgements on the the streets is a very close to me.. I look at my accounts all ZERO'S.. that's scary.. I have a mortgage to pay.. bills , car note.. food.. etc.. But with no money that I can readily get to,. I'm in trouble.. I mean I have cd and accounts and other investments but they cant be withdrawn without alot of paper work and penalties.. yea.. I'm in shock right now.. How easily> things can change.. But my whole life has been that way.. Family and friends dying , shipmates dying or killing themselves,, 9/11 . the many unreported events overseas as a sailor.. Its can be maddening. Now No money.. and no assurance when this will be corrected.. Now.. I'm worried and concerned.. I know maybe I'm being to overly dramatic.. But tell that to my creditors.. They don't care about mistakes or what.. They want their money.. So here I am.. trying to be happy in the midst of financial issues.. Thus.. Another stressful time.. I know or realize.. now.. That life is indeed unpredictable and unsteady.. I mean the news always has troubling events that make you wonder about humanity.. I know I insulted or pissed off alot of folks in my life and perhaps Karma is coming back on me.. But its not a fun time for me.. I know Life is tough,, But I will re bounce and get back on my feet, But sometimes We need a rude awakening or wake up call at times to be thankful for whats really important.. Family, health , faith and friends.. Material things can always be taken away.. But your family and health is what keeps you going.. I'm in major reflection mode and reality mode and Its truly humbling. Life is the most truthful and honest thing you will ever deal with.. It either makes you or break you. But I have a strong spirit and I will find and search for solutions to my issues. But I also realize.. I take each day at one time and deal with issues one issue at a time. ,, and I also realize that you can solve all your issues by yourself.. We need help.. Don't feel afraid to reach out to those that are close to you.. and Do what makes you happy. Like working out , talking with family and Friends , reading , writing.. We all need outlets,,, and as your favorite blogger.. I know you enjoy the wide arrange of ideas and issues I share with you... Its a journey,, called life.. and together we shall overcome!! Holiday shopping tips...
HOLIDAY SHOPPING TIPS.. BY MEL PARAS
Its this season to be jolly.. But its also the season for CRIMINALS.. People who prey on the the distracted or unfocused.. Be alert.. folks,.. Not everyone has your best interest at heart.. Like park in lighted areas.. park as close to the shopping centers as possible,.. The longer you have to walk. especially alone at night.. The target you become male or female. These are desperate times.. People could care less how hard you worked and who you are.. Alot of these folks are drugged up or desperate lost souls looking for fast cash.. I know it wont happen to me.. and Lets hope he doesn't.. But being watchful and avoid the situations will save you,..
Tips..
1) Always lock you goodies , in the trunk.. out of sight and out of mind..
2) if you can.. after shopping immediately drive home.. crooks.. who see you drop off gifts and then see you walk back in to Mall.. yup.. Break in.. I know I have a alarm.. But how many alarms have you heard in your life. and ignore.. it; and people these days.. do the same.. and even if they do see it.. Wont stop it.. and forget about calling 911.. because 911 puts you on the hold anyways.. People are too impatient to do the right thing.. sad truth..
3) Don't flash cash around.. and keep your wallet in front pocket and or purse.. Again.. Don't give people ideas..
4) Don't be afraid to ask for escorts by security personnel. That's why they are there. use them..

These are desperate times.. People could care less how hard you worked and who you are.. Alot of these folks are drugged up or desperate lost souls looking for fast cash.. I know it wont happen to me.. and Lets hope he doesn't.. But being watchful and avoid the situations will save you,..

1) Always lock you goodies , in the trunk.. out of sight and out of mind..
2) if you can.. after shopping immediately drive home.. crooks.. who see you drop off gifts and then see you walk back in to Mall.. yup.. Break in.. I know I have a alarm.. But how many alarms have you heard in your life. and ignore.. it; and people these days.. do the same.. and even if they do see it.. Wont stop it.. and forget about calling 911.. because 911 puts you on the hold anyways.. People are too impatient to do the right thing.. sad truth..
3) Don't flash cash around.. and keep your wallet in front pocket and or purse.. Again.. Don't give people ideas..
4) Don't be afraid to ask for escorts by security personnel. That's why they are there. use them..
5) Lastly.. shop in pairs.. POWER IN NUMBERS.. CROOKS ARE LOOKING FOR EASY TARGETS.. TRY TO BE IN A GROUP.. IF YOU DO SHOP ALONE. BE VIGILANT.. LOOK ASSERTIVE AND BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS..

My Christmas I knew... By Mel Paras...
Back in the day when I was a youngster , I recall my beloved Mama. baking great goodies and always treating like a King. Yes , I was a Mama Boy and proud of it.. Sure I got teased was I was youngster, got into fights because of it ..But My mama was the greatest.. She always came through with goodies and taught the spirit of Christmas..It wasn't about what was under the Christmas Tree is was the fact we were together sharing good times.. Alot of the times it was only my Mama and my brothers and sisters.. Because papa was a gung ho always at sea and workaholic papa... But those were the best of times.. The birth of Jesus Christ and the spirit of sharing and giving time to one another I will always cherish.. She never taught us the Santa Claus Christmas or such.. My mama was deeply religious.. and my papa is not.. Me,,. I'm in the middle not to much either way.. In my personal experience I found that the majority of people I know are not too religious , but are so caring and giving..I mean I don't like hanging around self centered, arrogant , ego maniacs.. I mean why do i need to hang around someone like me.. haha.. But seriously.. I love people that care for one another and not competitive.. But the life I lived in the Military you have to put on a facade,, A image of uncaring ,, and hard nose attitude to get where you need to go.. You also cant rock the boat and go along with the plan. In other words to get along you have to get along..
But back to my memories with Mama.. I miss those goodies she baked and her love for me.. I always loved my mama kinds words and encouraging words. She always worried about my temper and tendency to lash out.. But it was a phase growing up.. Now.. I use my Martial Arts skills as a extension or expression of myself. I love sharing or showing off my skills to family and friends.. Its like therapy.. I mean everyone needs a outlet.. and that it for me.. I like working out.. Every day.. and Its a form of relaxing and stress releasing .. My only regret is that my mama didn't see what a wonderful son she raised.. I became a career sailor and loving and faithful husband and caring parent and concerned citizen.. I love the life I lived and how I live.. I practise what I preach like the way she loved.. She would say: Treat people with respect and how you would like to be treated.." But of course there is some people that no matter how well mannered you are,, People hate you because of color, looks, religion. etc.. Its sad to have hatred.. I have seen it too many times in My Navy career and it ruined alot of lives.. I don't like to Hate people.. unless they try to harm my family or myself..if that happens.. All bets are off. I'm a very protective and loving family guy.. and the REAL FRIENDS i have.. they know How passionate and caring I am.. Yea.. I miss the Christmas days I had with my Mama.. She didn't live a long life, But the memories and love she shared with me will always make me happy... I miss her dearly.. and to be honest,, Christmas has never been the same since she passed away.. But the smiles I see in my family these days makes up for that void.... that will never be filled.. I miss my mama,, and through the years .. I have matured and become the man ,, she always dreamed that i would become.. I know in Heaven you are smiling and watching over me.. Because I feel your presence every time I get near danger.. You always set me straight.... Thank you mama.. I miss you and the Christmas days you spent with your loving son..

CHARGER DRAMA-- CONTINUES 2012..
Charger drama continues 2012.. NFL- NO FREAKING LOGIC..
YES, The Cardiac Chargers are doing it again.. Playing their Best ball when it doesn't matter anymore... In years back,, when the division had no contenders,, They could win the division as 8-8 winners.. Those days are gone.. They may still finish 8-8,, but who cares..? It easy to play well when your relaxed so to speak , no pressure to win... and can call all kinds of crazy plays like the fake punt that basically sealed the game , because the bolts burnt more time off the clock,, They didn't score but it was like a score because it left little time for Big Ben and Company. and oh... Big Bens mistake which led to touchdown was very helpful too.. The Bolts for the first time this season played 60 minutes of football. offensively , defensively and special teams.. While the Steelers played Charger football.. Lack of passion early and many mistakes at home. They looked like they were in shocked because the Bolts were 0-14 in the regular season ,, which is hard to believe with all the great teams the bolts had , including the Boss Ross years. and of course Air Coryell.. But the Bolts showed the nation they could play smash mouth , ball hogging football. It was impressive to see a bunch of misfits off the streets out play the steelers defensive and offensive lines.. Very odd , and no logic or reason how the Bolts did this? But then again its been that kind of year.. Elite teams losing to crappy teams.. Elite teams last year becoming crappy teams this year.. Saints, Lions.. But guess what? That's why we love sports , its unpredictable. Its cool some people , including myself think we can pick more winners than losers on football polls,, Which I have. But those games I miss on ,, like this one was totally ,,,, unpredictable.. I tried to make up scenarios how the bolts could win.. But with a broken down offensive line.. A quarterback throwing picks like crazy.. and a defense that seems to wither down at the end of games.. 4th and 29.. The bolts pull off a magic trick..
But be careful.. Because The owners o the Chargers could pull another fast one.. ?? Fire Norv,, it must happen.. Sure hes likeable , but its clear he not a head coach.. He has the most losses in NFL history.. and his traditional late season charge .. amounts to nothing... so off you go,, Nice play calling .but sorry Norvie.. Your act has gotten old.. We want a consistent winning coach that will lead us to playoffs and beyond.. As for AJ SMITH.. I have mixed feelings about him. He knows talent and where and how to get them.. But he also has a hard time keeping them on the team.. Brees, Harrison , Sproles, Tolbert, Turner ,Jackson.. and they all have gone on to greater things.. But be careful what you wish for.. Finding a head Coach is a dime a dozen.. But a quality , proven talent researcher is a bit harder to find.. and it will cost you.. Now do we settle for another average head coach to get a high profile and proven GM.. or vice versa.. What a decision to make and its clear as a fan we want want a complete change.. So Lets see what happens...??
But for now.. Lets enjoy what has been the traditional Decembers to remember.. and watch Rivers connect to gates, Alexander, Floyd, spurlock , Mathews and brown.. and See this up and coming defense becoming a force as Bolts make that fast and furious finish.. Lets hope the next hires make those changes that will take this talented , but misguided players into more consistent and winning football. The drama continues and that's why we love the game.. The Manny Pacquiao Drama !?!
The Manny Pacquiao Drama?
The drama continues , he still attracts attention , he still has endorsements , he still has a following.. Why? I mean he hasn't knocked out anyone in years,, He lost his last two fights and gets brutally knocked out by a Mexican Legend.. Knocked Out by A fighter who usually fights as a counter puncher , but last Saturdayy Night decided to trade blows,, take Manny's best shot and beat the man at his own game.. Now that's impressive at the age of 39 years old.. I have the utmost respect for Marquez, he's a skillful . and talented fighter with great Mexican Pride.. He got his pride and reputation back big time.. Now they are talking about another fight..?? But Why?? In my opinion.. Marquez has proven he can out box and out counter punch. Despite the controversial decisions and now knocked out a stronger , faster and younger fighter.. That's greatness ,, As for Manny,, he ashamed that he became a over confident , arrogant, free wheeling , aggressive wild puncher like when he first started fighting. But the old saying your true personna comes out under extreme stress.. Manny took chances and he got his butt kicked. Hey, Its sports,. anything can happen , if you think you know how games or fights are going to end you are really misguided.. This is the reason we love sports,, the drama , the unpredictability, the excitement. In my earlier blog regarding this fight I ssuccessfully predicted a short fight and a knock out ending , But I thought Manny would do that to Marquez.. But Marquez showed great poise and determination.. he had numerous cuts and a broken nose and came through..In other words. He had more guts and desire to fight through the pain.. Manny , I hate to say it has become civilized, too normal ,, He lost his killer instinct,,I mean hanging around politicians, actors, singers , dancers ,,, etc,, makes you soft,, makes you less of a killer . Its not bad for life.But the women " Boxing" she loves the killer instinct , the total concentration and dedication.. Anything less leads to brutal knock outs that Manny suffered.. You can cheat Boxing,. its the ultimate sport where you need to be fully focused and dedicated.. I have seen the signs in his last few fights where he didn't go in for the kill.. and settled for decisions.. The other night , he woke up and knocked down Marquez,, and for awhile had a false sense of security as he went in for the kill,.But Marquez was waiting and timing that right hand that he landed early in the fight and landed once again.. that ended the fight and perhaps.. The reign of Terror Pacquiao had on Mexican Fighters,, Can he come back ? Sure,, But he needs to push himself away from all the distractions .. in the Philippines and the United States. Easier said than done. He has become a Cash cow,, and money machine a Icon that needs to be everywhere and people want him by their sides.. The loss was painful to alot of pocket books and emotions,. But the fans still love him and believe in him,, Hence another fight .. But if he doesn't separate ties from all his distractions.. I see another brutal knockout.. But like all great fighters,, they don't see the end.. When its clearly happening.. I wish you well Manny,. But You have spread yourself too thin and have exhausted your energies beyond imagination.. I admire your passion to be everything to everyone and please everyone. But the human mind and body can only focus on so much.. Your circus acts,, and drama with wifey and other women and of course the needs of the PHILIPPINES are wearing you down.. I see it in your eyes and body language.... But your too much of a nice guy to say No!.. So,, because of Pride and ego,, and your desire to please your countrymen.. You will try to climb that mountain.. even if it kills you.. Well they say,, sometimes the very thing you love so much can kill you too.. So , The drama continues about rumors Marquez took steroids and you were distracted with the hardships of the Philippines.. You , Manny are a legend and proven yourself beyond any ones expectations.. But the very traits you own , regarding passion, desire and stubbornness, will get you in trouble if you keep fighting for the wrong reasons.. You have made tons of money.. But we all know " There is never enough.. !! Right.. There is never enough Money , food,. life , drinks.. etc.. its human nature we always want more.. So with that Manny. Good luck and do you feel is the best ,, and we will see where this drama finally ends.. But like so many great fighters before you,., It seems its headed for another sad ending..

Dear Floyd Mayweather- Inspired story by Manny Pacquiao..
Now .. that you saw Marquez ko Pacman.. Marquez you dominated him when you guys fought.. What Now? The fight of the Century is still there? I mean what else do you want I lost two fights in a row.. I get my butt kicked and take a devastating dent in my image, honor and rep... But I still hear no rantings or ravings about fighting me.. We all know Styles makes fight.. and We all know you don't have the heart and desire to fight like a true warrior like Marquez.. Marquez took a beating , broken nose,. cuts on the eyes.. a hard knockdown.. and came back to win.. That's why I respect that man. and that's why he's a true champion.. He battled back from adversity and pain to win the biggest fight of is life.. But styles makes fights.. He always gave me trouble. and I got too over confident too aggressive in other words I made mistakes and he made me pay for them. But I felt good I was fighting like the Manny of old.. Its humbling to lose , but that's boxing.. It is the truest and my honest sport today.. Now if you are a true warrior or champion .. Then why not fight me? Really I need to fight Marquez for the 5th time.. or Morales for a fourth time.. or any other fighter for the 2nd or third time..? Now time is now or never.. I know they are still folks who believe I can beat you ,, and I still have faith in my abilities.. I made a mistake. Its boxing.. unlike other sports.. you can be winning or losing by a large margin.. and still win by knockout.. I'm a True Warrior,. I got clocked , but like a true man. I faced the music.. I know better, but mistakes happen.. Ali lost to Frazier and came back to win twice.. Leonard lost to Duran and came back to win the next two fight.. Duran in his old age beat fighters like Barkley , a taller stronger fighter.. Never say never in boxing or life.. except when it comes to you.. If there is a time and place to fight.. Its now.. But Your too in love with your perfect record and fantasy that you are unbeatable, untouchable.. which is true.. I mean I cant tough you if we never fight.. But you enjoy cheating people and the fans of the sport of a great fight.. I'm not suprised you cant hold a steady relationship or friendship.. Its not in your character.. in fact you cant give love if you don't have it inside you,., Just like you don't want to fight me.. if you don't want to fight like Marquez fights.. If anything , that fight I had with Marquez..Probably scared you more because that's the reality of boxing.. Its brutal,, its scary and its reality... Something you have no grasp on.. The only thing you see is Money , Material things and your big fat ego.. Well enjoy it all , but the fans , the true followers of the sport will honor great Warriors and dismiss others like you.. Really I need to fight Marquez for the 5th time.. or Morales for a fourth time.. or any other fighter for the 2nd or third time..? Now time is now or never.. I know they are still folks who believe I can beat you ,, and I still have faith in my abilities.. I made a mistake. Its boxing.. unlike other sports.. you can be winning or losing by a large margin.. and still win by knockout.. I'm a True Warrior,. I will re-examine my fight ,, work on my mistakes and come back and beat Bradley amd Marquez.. or at least I'm gonna try.. That's what true champions and fighters do. WE FIGHT THE BEST , no matter what.. I will never respect you or give you credit for being the best if you don't fight me at least once .. What are you waiting for I'm 33 years old.. I have other options for me. Congressman, business man.. Humanitarian.. Human being, father , husband,. friend.. But I cant force you to anything against your will,. We all know you are loyal to no one and cant keep family and friends for long terms.. I'm a true gentlemen and warrior spirit that my family , friends and fans love about me.. Sure.. I got clocked , but like a true man. I faced the music.. I know better, but mistakes happen.. Ali lost to Frazier and came back to win twice.. Leonard lost to Duran and came back to win the next two fight.. Duran in his old age beat fighters like Barkley , a taller stronger fighter.. Never say never in boxing or life.. except when it comes to you.. If there is a time and place to fight.. Its now.. But Your too in love with your perfect record and fantasy that you are unbeatable, untouchable.. which is true.. I mean I cant tough you if we never fight.. But you enjoy cheating people and the fans of the sport of a great fight.. I'm not suprised you cant hold a steady relationship or friendship.. Its not in your character.. in fact you cant give love if you don't have it inside you,., Just like you don't want to fight me.. if you don't want to fight like Marquez fights.. If anything , that fight I had with Marquez..Probably scared you more because that's the reality of boxing.. Its brutal,, its scary and its reality... Something you have no grasp on.. The only thing you see is Money , Material things and your big fat ego.. Well enjoy it all , but the fans , the true followers of the sport will honor great Warriors and dismiss others like you.. Wow, what a fight ,, Dec 8,2012, The day the King was dethroned , the day Mexican Assassin, gets his butt kicked or nearly killed! What a punch heard around the world.. I knew the way Manny fell and hit hit face on the canvas , that it was done.. I was shocked like the millions of others but as a fan I said what a fight? Awesome the best of all the fights.. A rematch? Really,, Why Not? But remember Marquez is 39 or 40 years old.. I'm not sure if he wants to climb the mountain after waiting for so many years to get this deserving victory.. My advice.. Marquez, Take the money and run.. You fought the best in Boxing and now you are 8 time Champion.. like Pacquiao.. YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO PROVE,, you are on the greatest boxers in History , despite the lack of love from your country men over the years.. Because your too smart , too intellectual, too reserved,. In other words too civil.. But last night was definitive and conclusive.. You knocked out a guy , who was regarded as the heavier puncher.. You beat the guy at his own game.. Now that's impressive.. But like all fighters of the past and future.. Fighters like myself,.. Don't realize the end.. Our minds and spirits are too strong for our own good.. Plus since your the Champion.. you will get 24 million , like Pacquiao got .. and Pacquiao will probably get the same amount.... But why? I mean. Lets face it your reaching the 40 age bracket and you have been in alot of wars.. and this last fight you suffered a broken nose and various cuts and aches and pains because of years of fighting.. At least for one night you were the greatest fighter.. BUT we all know father time and of course the Boxing Gods don't give any fighter the power and strength forever.. I must admit you came through for your countrymen.. and The Mexican Warrior should be proud .. YOU DEVASTATED THE GREAT PACMAN.. But I see the lure of money and the ego to take over for another fight.. And who knows once again what will happen? I mean you will be 40+ and have a enraged and younger fighter determined to get his rep back.. Nothing last forever? I love the many fights you two have engaged in. and I wish you luck in what you do.. Enjoy the Victory and whatever you decide it will because its something you want to.. Just like last night Dec 8, 2012.. A new Holiday for the Mexican's.. The dethroning of the Mexican Assassin.. Manny had a great run.. but He has other options in life.. Congressman, actor, endorser, public figure.. Icon.. and like a wife.. Those endeavors takes time and dedication.. Boxing is a strong wife.. she wants ultilmate sacrifice and dedication.. Boxing is a cruel sport,, you lack attention for a split second it's over.. Boxing like life has no feelings or compassion... Boxing is a selfish , time consuming and jealous women that wants the attention and dedication from their suitors.. A part time fighter doesn't work.. The mind can only focus on so many things.. You have to be focused .. Something I realize in my own retirement transition.. At times you can have too many issues on ones mind.. For Manny, the issues of devastating typhoon in the Philippines. the concerns about his kids and wife and business endeavors are tiring.. But I still believe if he wants to.. He can climb that mountain and get redemption .. But does his heart and mind feel the same.. I mean.. He will have to shut out everything. But he has such a kind and caring heart and cares about people , that betray him or even laugh at him.. But whatever you do Manny I wish you well. As for JUAN. That was a great effort by a great champion and true gentlemen.. Its all about business and time will tell what happens next.. Money , greed, ego's.. and attention from fans could lure these great men to do it again or fight on.. Its a sad reality about the sport of boxing.. Like life.. You never know when your time is up.. That's why .. Live it up enjoy every day and have no excuses or regrets.. For one night,, boxing was King.. MANNY PACQUIAO - THE REAL ONE SHOWS UP !
Manny Pacquiao- The Real one shows up tonight Dec 8, 2012..
I'm one of Manny's biggest fans I have been to almost all of his fights in Las Vegas.. I have see the best , the worst and the craziest.. And that's from his loyal Filipinos's.. waving flags,, wearing t shirts.. chanting louder than you will ever see Filipino's do.
Why? Because Manny is Filipino. A true warrior.. A true gentlemen, example.. When I saw him in Vegas get beat by Erik Morales.. He didn't make excuses or cry foul..He was humble,, disappointed but respectful for his performance.. Well after that loss we went on a KO spree.. Knocking out Morales in his next two fights.. and the rest is history.. Ko's Delahoya, Barrera, Diaz, Hatton..
Now enter another disappointing showing.. The Bradley fight.. Sure he wasn't himself. He didn't dominate as usual.. But in my humble opinion , He won that fight.. But once again. He was not yelling or crying foul.. He thank God and his loyal fans , that next time it will be a different outcome and showing. Manny has worked on being a better boxer, avoiding punches.. Because Mayweather was looming.. He wanted to preserve his face and body.. in other words fight Mayweather style.. Well guess what Manny? The Vegas judges and fans don't want another boring , defensive minded Mayweather style.. We want the style that hooked us.. The aggressive, no holds. MMA style of fighting.. We want KO's and blood.. We want War.. Because you are the ultimate Warrior , the Pride of the Philippines and its people.. Tonight , I really expect a great showing.. You changed up your training schedule . That is No Baguio City workouts or distractions.. You have maintained a busy work out routine and you are back to being Manny Pacman Pacquiao.. You have the power and strength to KNOCKOUT AND ONCE IN FOR ALL PUT CLOSURE TO THIS EPIC SHOWDOWN.. You have knocked him down in every encounter except the last fight.. Tonight. I see desperation on the Marquez side. He fully knows he cant win a decision in Vegas and any close fight , he wont win.. Well Bradley is the exception or is? I see Marquez going for broke.. Coming out and trying to Ko Manny.. And that's what Manny's wants. Manny wants a opponent that will come out and fight.. Tonight Marquez knows this is his last chance to beat Manny and perhaps his last big pay check..He is older , slower and way above the weight class he used to fighting at. Manny is a stronger , heavier and more dangerous puncher that is upset with his last fight and he will take it out on Marquez. I expect fire works early and often and finally the final answer to this epic rivalry.. This wont go the distance.. Both will come out to finish each other and settle things once and for all. Wow.. What a exciting match tonight.. Then..... we will see if Money Mayweather decides if he wants Manny.. But chances are he will see the rejuvenated, the motivated and Pacquiao and say , the Monster is back. and I don't want to jeopardize my health against that guy... If so. Its ok.. We all know The Real Manny Pacquiao showed and is entering the twilight of his career with Pride , Dignity and good will.. The Very essence of true Filipino's spirit..
