BLACK BEAUTY STRIKES AGAIN...INSPIRED BY SOMEONE I KNOW...
  My friend loves his Suped up Muscle Car.. and Why not it's a shiny pitch black DODGE Challenger with Red racing stripes by the hood scoops.. and I have yet to see another one like it on the road? Its a beauty and that's why he affectionately calls it Black Beauty , or the other girl, the Mistress , the other woman.. the Black Widow.. The car ever since I saw it at BJ's in Chula Vista, Ca.. is a radical attention whore.. It just grabs your eyes and never lets you go... and this past weekend it did it again.. Black beauty especially with the headlights on and the amber fog lights just looks mean coming down the road.. and when you look at it .. it just so damn sexy.. I was walking up to the car on Saturday afternoon , after a party and the aggressive look and tires and front end just makes you say " damn sexy car .. and a mean ass look.. I know my bud has plans like wider tires and a chrome star pattern wheel set,, and perhaps a tinted window showcase to really make the car lean , mean fighting machine,.. I love my friends car.. Its so fun to ride in and has the coolest stereo and sound system, as well as comfortable and luxurious leather seats.. The car is damn " gorgeous" but I also know it grabs too much attention at times.. I have seen my friend challenged by every wanna be racer and the Cops are always looking at his car.. I have seen cops stop what they are doing just to look and listen at my friends car.. The other day My friend was driving up the hill and a guy and his girl actually yelled out his window " What kind of car is that?" I also saw people drive by and give my friend a thumb's up approval.. The car brings smiles and ohhs. and ahs.. wherever he decides to unleash the beast from his garage,.. I must admit you get a totally different feeling when you ride in this machine.. You fell like the " King of the Road!!" It may not be fastest , or the coolest looking Muscle car on the road.. But it does make you look.. It has that RARE AIR LOOK about it.. I mean we all see thousands of Mustangs and Camaro's , etc.. on the Road.. But the Dodge Challenger has only been around 8 years , including its original break out 1970-1974.. and now 2008-2012.. It may be time to retire this car again,.. But then again.. Maybe not.. Because it's the true American Made Muscle car in today's market.. Mustang,, has too many sports car ala.,. track car status, and the camaro.. looks like a Hot wheel.. toy car.. Not a true Muscle car experience.. But then again... I'm biased because I love the DODGE CHALLENGER... 
  Its really a trip to ride with my friend especially when he turns up the satellite radio and cranks out the Heavy Metal rock tunes,. Like true muscle cars should be tuned into.. He really blazes his car with a need for speed.. It;s a great feeling and my friend has perfected the art of burn outs.. But his poor tires are showing age even though he has barely 1000 miles on them.. Oh well.. It makes for a new set with his new wheels more to yearn for.. I'm happy for my friend,. finally he has a car that truly fits his personality and demeanor.. He's a mysterious , but dangerous guy that loves attention and has the ability and performance to back up his attitude,. The car embodies my friends persona.. that attention whore with dramatic lines and the passion to make people look and keep looking. If you love beautiful cars and loves the power of American Muscle.. than you will love my friends bad ass car. It is so fun to ride in and has that look, that makes you say " Fawk yeah.. American Muscle Rules.. I'm looking forward to many more adventures my friend plans with his car.. Like  trips to Vegas for Pacquiao fights.. Summertime night drives along the beaches of Socal.. and of course Ortega scenic views with the stereo blasting and miles of open road and enjoying what life is all about.. driving and owning the Car of your dreams.. I'm happy my buddy has finally found the car to share the passion for life he has displayed throughout his life and I'm sure will show case or show off his dream ride to the world with photos , YouTube,. and of course stories ... SAN DIEGO CHARGERS DRAFT PICKS 2012.. HIT THE NEEDS.. ??
 The Chargers hit heavy with defense . OLB , DE , AND STRONG SAFETY .. hopefully they come through , if so , The Chargers may make some noise next year.. The drafting of another TE and RB seems to say they feel not too secure in those spots. We have a aging and injury prone Antonia Gates and a young but undersized and indecisive runner in Ryan Mathews. He has the talent , but lacks mental strength and decisiveness. The loss of Vincent Jackson will hurt the Chargers,, I'm not sold on the Eddie Royal or Robert Meachem making much impact. Royal is kind of a poor mans version of Darren Sproles , and Meachem is a poor man version of VINCENT JACKSON.. Some one has to step up.. Perhaps Vincent Brown,, or what? But I see a unpredictable season for the chargers , relying on so much young and inexperienced talent can lead to close game losses late in the year.To be honest I see the broncos repeating as Division champs.. with the Raiders , Chiefs and Chargers following right behind. The Chargers are no longer the power house in the division and they will struggle again as they try to find a balance of run and pass. The chargers made good picks , but no one they selected will make major impacts , at least I don't think so. The Chargers will rely on Rivers making magic and hopefully other offensive stars play consistently.. If not look for another average season and talks of moving to LA
   BOTTOM LINE ; The picks hit their needs , but like seasons past , todays  Draft picks that make the team are few if any and the contributions these players make next season,, depends if they can stay healthy. The Chargers need some attitude players on defense , and the offense needs to protect RIVERS,, IF SO,, this team could contend for the division title, but until they get a better defense and a run game that is clutch at crunch time, I see the same old results of creating highlight reels , but falling out and fading on the Playoffs..The Broncos and Raiders , Chiefs have much better defenses than the Chargers and offensively , The Chargers may have a slight edge, but The other teams have much better run games late in the game. Its still early , but I dont feel a strong sense of accomplishment with this draft class. But time will tell and when the seasonkicks offs .. all of us will be hoping for the best...   Life at sea , it seems it never ends, the drills , the exercises , the break downs , the arguments , frustrations , the rants. I must say My friend can do some of the best rants ever. It seems , at times he loves to do it and other times he's ready to just give up and call it a career. I mean 20 years is along time to do Navy life,. I mean he has seen and done everything and has seen death , and injuries far too many times for any ones lifetimes. His passion in telling stories about past experiences makes me feel I'm with him during those troubled times. The bigotry , the lack of understanding and the harshness of the old navy , makes me realize he's a strong guy to endure all those times.. But I also see today's Navy being a stress to him because as he calls it " The hip hop , lolipop Navy.. the lost in MP3 generation. He has many views and concerns with today's youth,. Their lack of commitment to anything , is alarming and their lack of caring for another mind boggling , the back stabbing , the bickering and the overall mistrust of everyone is something My friend cant seem to understand. The navy he grew up in was a harsh , firm but fair navy,. there was friendship , teamwork, and a overall feeling of togetherness. I see him trying that with his last division of his career. The passion he displays is admiring, but I also see it a lost cause. " his a one man Army !! and its getting to him. But like the warrior and hard headed guy he is , I know next week, he again attack with fervor and come up with some good rants or inspirational speeches. But for now I feel for him ,because he has tried so hard to bring his guys together. But there are one or two that just don't get it.. But hey theres always tomorrow and another set of sailors coming in, and I'm sure he will instruct them into being the ' GUNG HO " high spirited person he is.. But to be honest , I say he's the last of that noble and passionate side.. I really hope he leaves the ship on a good note and cherish those good times he had with other commands and duty stations and cherish those few moments he has shared with this division. I know I cherish what he has done for me and my morale issues. He is truly a inspirational guy that motivates people by simply doing things.. LEAD BY EXAMPLE., is by far the best way to get people to work.. His words" If a old man can do it , I'm sure you young bloods can do it!! In other words he tries to get you embarrassed if you cant keep up with the old man. I truly respect him and I hope he continues his high profile and energetic attitude until he departs, I feel its something he wants to do and something we all enjoy seeing in action. He is a one of kind guy that can be whatever he wants to be.. Thank you shipmate and continue your mentoring ways and teaching ways , we all enjoy it and it always inspires us to try our best.

MAYWEATHER VS. COTTO - KINGS OF THE RINGS.. CINCO DE MAYO 2012..
  The fight is near and we are going to be treated to a either lop sided boxing clinic by the best defensive fighter in years vs. one of the toughest , no quit Cotto. Mayweather has had a glorious career picking and choosing his opponents ,, with a impressive undefeated record, but I'm not impressed , fighting fighters past their weight classes or past their primes doesn't make you a great champion.. This fight would have been better a few years back , minus the Margarito and Pacquiao beatings. But like everything else in boxing today its too predictable. Unless cotto makes this a slug fest and hurt Mayweather this will be a over blown and hyped fight with no exciting moments. Mayweather got rocked early by a old and slower Moseley and decided survival than trading with the old veteran. In this fight I don't expect Mayweather to test or chance getting rocked by the younger , faster Cotto . 
 My prediction , Cotto will come out early and try to make Floyd engage in a slug fest.. If he succeeds , this can be a interesting fight, we saw in Mayweather last fight against Ortiz , he didn't like the rough house techniques and used questionable but legal tactics to get a quick Knock out.. Cotto needs to stay focused and hit what Mayweather gives him, even light punches will create tension on the 35 old veteran that hasnt fought consistently in recent years,. Floyds style needs timing and to be effective , when you get older the speed diminshes and the power remains the same.. So expect a slower Mayweather who throws limited punches but accurate ones to win close rounds.. Cotto on the other hand needs to more active , finish the rounds strong and if he is scoring alot of punches and the crowd sides with him, An upset could happen. But Cotto needs knock downs and perhaps a KNockout to win this fight! It wont be easy against one of the most clever boxers of all time!!
 Mayweather will do what his likes to do , stick and jab and punch conservatievely , he likes to look good and finish strong at the end of each round .. ala Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard .. He doesnt want a war and doesnt want to get hurt.. expect mayweather to use all of his defensive skills and offensive prowess to win a close but unamoius decision.. Cotto will have his moments but his lack of foot speed and defensive skills will hurt him late in the fight as Mayweather will win and announce his is the best fighter. He will make rants about steriods testing and Pacquiao's inability to compromise on testing , money sharing and weight class. He will make excuses and proclaim he is the saviour of the sport. While boxing will await the June 9th 2012 fight Pacquiao vs. Bradley , to watch the Real peoples champion!! 
  Bottom line : Mayweather wins decision, Cotto has moments , but his lack of foot speed and defensive weakness will hurt him late in the fight as Mayweather, gets into a rhythum and has one of his great performances.  THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012

JUNIOR SEAU'S DEATH.. INSPIRED BY SOME ONE I KNOW..

JUNIOR SEAU'S DEATH..
   I know the official report is suicide , but really? I mean no suicide note was left and from the public persona , he was a larger than life figure with tremendous confidence and arrogance beyond comprehension. I know being a very confident and arrogant person myself its hard to think such a strong minded man would take his own life. I mean its such a cowardly and selfish thing to do. If you really love your family and friends why would you put them into such mental pain. Especially a loving mother you cried and even begged God to take her. I can understand her feeling having kids of my own.. But she also lost another son years ago due to gang violence.. But what can you say,? If no one saw it how can you prove anything, We can come up with all the conspiracy theories.. But I refuse Mr San Diego would kill himself and put such a mentally draining moment on his beloved family and his legacy. I'm also very curious why the Oceanside Police called it a suicide if no suicide note was left behind.. and no indications from close friends he was on the brink of doing such a thing. I know I'm only a outsider looking and perhaps as the days and weeks go on, and the investigation and autopsy reveals the causes and reasons for his death. Today May 2, 2012 I refuse such a legend and Icon would take his own life. Forget about that missing the limelight. He has been retired for a while and has two restaurant's in Temecula and San Diego and is very active in his own foundations and charities. I refuse he would want such a looming and depressing feeling to be part of his aura. He was a positive force as you can imagine. Perhaps its a ploy to keep the killer or killers , off the trail . But whatever the cause , May the truth come out and may we find peace and resolution to this deal.. I know there is a large gang influence in the ocean side area as well as every where else in San Diego,.. But like I said ,, Knowing something and proving may prove a frustrating point. We all know we have seen unsolved murders of celebrities in the past.. Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy , James Dean , Natalie wood, now Junior Seau.. Perhaps the truth is too scary to talk about .. politics, corruption, illegal transactions could damage the image of the Seau's if unlawful dealings were taking place and the revelation of the truth would damage his reputation and legacy he worded so hard to create,. But whatever the reason for his death of killing. There is no doubt he made a impression to the San Diego Fan base.. He was a force and was very fun to watch.. I had several encounters with him,. and I didn't like his demeanor or disregard for some his fans in regards to autographs.. BUT .. hey no one is perfect. He certainly wasn't. I know he rubbed many people the wrong way with his arrogance and show off sack dances. BUT it's what he was and he did bring a SUPER BOWL APPEARANCE , the only one as to this date.. Yes, they were blown out by the 5 time SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS.. but who didn't lose to that amazing team during that time..
  Jr SEAU's death will always be mystery whether the true findings come out.. If anything recall those dominating days as the Greatest CHARGER LINEBACKER EVER.. and perhaps the true BLUE CHARGER ICON that grew up in SAN DIEGO AND BECAME THE HOMETOWN HEROE!!
