Another crazy week at sea.. Inspired by Jason....
 My buddy , my friend my supervisor is something else.. He never ceases to amaze me , with his directness and command of the English language. Its strange to see how in one day he was this laid back guy and has become this loud mouth dude with compassion and knowledge beyond comprehension. I'm not sure everyone likes his style. But I must say it;'s exciting to watch him perform. Yes. Perform. I see everyone of his rants or speeches or lectures as classics I will always remember,, One of the most entertaining ones was while eating chow , my bud caught on to the verbal cues by my other friend and MY bud.. went off,.. Loud , proud and put of his mind with his statements about .. The New Navy.. as kissers, brown nosers and a generation of softies.. It was funny , but also sad.. I mean.. If war does break out.. I fear this new generation of sailors don't have the compassion or guts to follow through. My mentor is no joke. He is fearless and and almost too unreal to believe. To see him talk to Officers , Chiefs and Lpos like they are nothing but tools to his disposal.. His logic and reasoning is sometimes breath taking and awesome to watch.. I loved it when he would bark out commands like a real Marine and Tell people to shut up and fawn this shit.. No one seems to challenge him? Why? Perhaps my buddy speaks the truth and the Truth often is too much for my generation of sailors or even the older generation. I look at him as a Master Chief that never became one , because of his temper and lack of political correctness,, I know I'm going to miss his convo's and his daily speeches,, because he has definitely made an impact on everyone in the division. I see fire in every one's eyes.. he definitely has command over us.. I really hope time slows down,.because I'm looking forward to the day he departs the ship and says his good byes.. because he will be missed,.,.. BUT his legacy and his memorable speeches and rants will be forever engraved in our minds and memories.. I salute my Mentor, because he has the skills and brains of someone with higher rank.. Like alot of people say.. " no one dares messes with him. " He is the real deal.. The real Navy , the real sea warrior,,and I wish him well in his future pursuits.. because is definitely a person with tremendous passion for life .. liberty and the pursuit of happiness..THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2012...

My last hurrah .. the final days of military life..
 Yes, indeed , my days are going by ever so gently.. Am I ready? Always ready!!!,, but then again this has been my life for the past 20 years, or in other words most of my adult life.. Its strange to see the young bloods, talking shit,, acting foolish and getting upset over trivial things, But who am I to complain.. I was the same dum ass fool many years ago,, So who am I to get upset at them. I guess I'm envious and jealous because my time is done.. I have nothing more to add to my legacy or career, and I guess I'm a bit upset , or bitter sweet sadness. I mean my whole existence or being has been military .. Now that the days are dwindling down to 3 digits.,. 180 days or so,, I see the light finally opening up.. What to do? Yea,, I have to take care of the separation stuff, but after its over.. What then? I know I want to finish my degree and eventually find a job.. or better yet open up a business , and be the boss.,. But time will tell , I will know if I will continue working or better yet be the man the boss,, But for now.. I'm tripping out on all the young guys and all the macho talk .. Because back in the day that was me.. ?? But everything has to change and I know my final days and my final good byes will be bittersweet and sad.. BUT.. I'm also looking forward in enjoying my muscle car and take it on a cross country ride across America.. THE USA,, ROUTE 66, and visit all the land marks , and car shows along the way,,. plus enjoying time with my family. I know they are excited and I am too, I want to see my youngest play tackle football and my eldest become that aviation mechanic and successful productive human being.. and of course my wife become what she wants to be.. As for me.. I have projects around the house ,, I have workouts to do,, and nice drives with the car.. But eventually I will decide what will be my last job ,, or hobby that will carry me through the rest of my life.. ? if anything .. I'm looking forward to the family vacations and parties with the family and of course the ending of long separations from loved ones.. and friends.. The lost time at sea will always be gone, but I plan on making up all the time away, by being that loud and proud uncle that likes to tell stories and perform jabba wockeez inspired dance routines.. My last hurrah.. Can my fellow shipmates. feel it.. and will they embrace it,.. Get ready guys.. I plan to make my last days as fun and frantic as I know how to do.. May the winds of change be strong and may my lectures and lessons on life be true to everyone..

GOOD FRIDAY 2012.. 
   Good Friday to everyone , Basically its a religious holiday celebrated by Christian's , Catholics in observance or commemorating the CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS CHRIST and his death at Calvary. This holiday is observed during HOLY WEEK..PRECEDING EASTER SUNDAY AND MAY COINCIDE WITH THE JEWISH PASSOVER.. 
   Based on Holy gospels the Crucifixion occurred around 33 AD. Whatever your beliefs or not , Lets take time out to be thankful for the Gift of life.. That's why today is called the " PRESENT!" Rejoice in today's blessings and spread peace and joy to all that come into contact with you today and all days of your life. I know , I'm thankful everyday I awake and knowing GOD or some higher being has granted me that gift of living another day doing what makes me happy. Live , eat , work out , read , write and of course spend quality time with family and friends.. I have lived a blessed life and I'm so happy I have a loving wife and family that have supported my hopes and dreams for myself and my family.  May you find peace and joy in your life!! THE DAY I BURNED OUT CHULA VISTA..
 First of all , bro in law or long lost brother is something else.. I mean he did grow up in the country and has many stories that are outrageous.. But when I asked him to show What a American Muscle Car Legend can do.. I didn't expect this.. First off.. Burning out in a residential area.. Alley HE LIKES to refer to it.. it Crazy , reckless and dangerous.. But then again owning a Fast car in these day in age is reckless , youthful and aggressive.. But watching my wife and her family trip out on all the white smoke,, the squeal of the tires and the roar of a Hemi powered engine is what they secretly wanted to see. As for me.. I know I wanted it too. But the trip to Otay Lakes road going at speeds of 140 to 160 Mph IS WILD.. But I loved every twist and turn and the lessons about making fast turns and stepping on the gas pedal at the right time.. It was exciting and scary at the same time. The head was flushed with excitement and the tester one level jumped 100 times over.. The roar of a powerful engine and the running down the road as other cars looked like they were standing still was awesome.. I must admit at least for one afternoon I felt like that 17 year old kid speeding down Palm Avenue in South San Diego with my Pals. Guy , Mark , Russel , John, Teddy and the rest of the wild white boys I sometimes hunged out with. Those were the days,, Long hair, skinny ass jeans ,, big egos;; and NO FEAR FOR SPEED.. We were young and restless and enjoying the youth.. Like I said back in the day I saw many of the Great cars.. of the day,, Firebirds, Camaro's barracuda's, CHARGERS, CHALENGERS , MUSTANGS,,. you name it I saw them up close and personal.. I was always a fan of muscle cars and I always dreamed of owning one.. To wait nearly a lifetime ,, is beyond me.. I mean I have owned Rice burner Toyota Supras and Nissans Cefiros;.. But nothing compares to the real Kings of Muscle Cars.. American Muscle rules.. I love the mean looks and the aggressive body styles and of course the loud exhaust and that feeling " I'm a American Bad Ass!! Its a attitude that comes with owning such a car. But I always have preached " Its never too late!! Right now is the best time of my life because I'm alive and have the greatest wife and kids in the World.. I have the greatest family who actually threw a party for my car in CHULA VISTA.. The Many pictures and oohss and ahs.. are still fresh in my memory.. But that day with Justin, schooling me on the how to drive fast and furious was awesome..
 The best memory was before picking up his ride.. I let him drive with my wife and girls in the back seat.. and those minutes speeding through Chula Vista was amazing.. The speed sign was flashing " SLOW DOWN!" because My brother Justin was probably traveling in 100 + on city streets.. oh what a laugh we all had.. and watching my wifes face as Justin speed like a devil with " Black Widow" at least for that afternoon.. was exhausting and exciting. It was a awesome day , topped off with the Party and pictures and my demo of th car features.. Like automatic start up ,.. DVD.. STEREO ..with a HARD DRIVE AND SAT RADIO AND plush leather seats.. Its  really a Bad Ass cool car and I love how I feel and look in it.. MY FAVORITE BRO IN LAW.. next to Oliver is FABZ.. when he said.. " Mel you look good with this car.. Its really you!! Of course I agreed and after years of driving in first to last cars.. Pintos, Buicks , Toyota's , Nissans, Chevys, and now a DODGE CHALLENGER .. I have finally found the ride that fits my personality and style.. The Challenger has the sleek , mean sexy and mysterious look , kind like me.. But it also has the soft , luxury , cool interior , kind like me , you have to know me to love me.. First impressions is this guy is a cocky , loud and self centered arrogant prick.. well at times you have to be, But once you get to know this guy, you realize there is a methos to his madness, a kind , soft hearted , sensitive guy who has passion and desire for life. But like alot of people and Muscle cars.. is often misunderstood and often clustered as the stereotype.. But hey.. right now,, I;m happy and Im ready to enjoy my next life.. My years in the military is winding down.. and my years as a civilian with a Bad Ass Muscle Car , with a touch of luxury is gonna make my remaining years of my life , youthful , strong and fun.. I always like to have fun and enjoy life.. Some may call me reckless, useless and unwise with my money and time.. Well ,, if you feel that way.. fa wk you.. Your not a true American and Muscle car guy.. The American thinking is We are the best and we believe it!! I know that sounds arrogant , But its hard to be humble when your the best! For those looking for a car that is more than just a means of transportation.. Then I suggest test driving one of the few American Muscle cars out there,. I did!! CAMARO , MUSTANG , CHARGER, and finally THE WINNER in my humble opinion. THE 2012 DODGE CHALLENGER RT PLUS , WITH THE TURBO CHARGED HEMI V8 ENGINE , with CrusieJoe , Junel , Guy , John . Robert , Hernand , Jason , Rick , Fabio , I took all of your inputs and basically said" What is this car suppose to do for me?? Bottomline.. I wanted a flashy , luxury feeling car that expressed the sentiments" I''m Beautiful and I'm loving life to the fullest!! AMERICAN MUSCLE RULES AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO ALL OF YOU SEARCHING FOR THAT NEW CAR. TRY OUT A AMERICAN MUSCLE WITH LUXURY AND PRACTICALITY AND A SENSE OF SHOW OFF APPEAL.. THE CHALLENGER IS THE CHOICE AND I'M SO HYPED!! That day burning rubber in the streets of Chula Vista and weaving through 805 freeway and watching a law enforcement officer stand in shock and awe , as BLACK BEAUTY came roaring down the off ramp , was a funny scene indeed.. I will cherish that day and I'm sure I will have many more tripped out stories regarding " THE BLACK BEAUTY , AKA THE BLACK WIDOW.. AKA RT.. RT STAND FOR.. REALLY TRIPPY??? LOL.
