  Muscle Car or No Car? Well first of all , A Muscle Car is a car that defines bulliness, defines get the fawk out of my way ! When people see it,, they must say wow.. gawk at it and call t too extreme , too over the top. Obnoxious and rude.. Its spells, impractical, radical and outrageous. You don't buy a Muscle car for gas mileage,, you don't buy it for practicality or sensibility , its expensive to replace high performance tires and after market additions.. Its a car not for the timid,, Because you will get challenged , smiled at, waved at and often times given bad looks. The people that life clean air and quiet cars.. Don't but a old or new muscle cars.. these cars are meant to be loud , proud and gas guzzlers.. On occasion , long road trips to Vegas I can get pretty good mileage.. 20-25.. cruise control.. all the way.. But that's only on occasion's,, Most of the time, I',m in single digits. Why? because I have a V8 , with extra features that have boosted my HP well over 500 hp.. And guess what? I want more power,, like a supercharger , and tuning that will increase the horsepower another 150 hp .. looking at 650 hp for street use. now that's scary , scary and well too much for daily driving. But its an addiction.. that is the speed the car goes.. So if your planning to get into the Muscle Car game s to speak.. Expect t spend money on premium tires, gas, oil. and after market materials that will increase your speed and power,, In addition you want the looks also.. tinted windows. wide tires and wide rims.. Its a addictive hobby to own a Muscle Car and like I said,, If you don't like attention , or fear any kind of confrontation.. street racers or under cover cops then  suggest you but a luxury cruiser car and enjoy the ride.. Muscle cars attract attention from old and young ,, police and border patrol,, I know I have been looked at , had police radars lock into my car for speeding.// Luckily,, My over priced radar detector has caught the signals before getting caught.. I know the cops don't like what I have.. I also listen to police scanners while i drive to ensure ultimate protection , and i have a rear view camera to record any activity behind me, and of course I plan to install a dash mount camera , to go along with my high powered police style spot light that's is near my dash board.. Yes, I come protected , I have too,, There is alot of lookers , crooks and haters, and I have to be ready! Now ,, We all know how people love their cars,, now what would I do if someone tried to steal my car? Lets just say I wouldn't be nice , and I wouldn't hesitate to beat the shit out of you, I also carry a stun gun and mace with me.. My key chain has mace and my stun gun is in the back seat right behind me.. Now why do I tell you all these things.. Perhaps for your own safety should you see black beauty on the roads or just a warning to those that want to own such a car. I'm gonna say Most Muscle car guys and gals are not afraid to fight , most are good with weapons, guns, and most feel their cars , especially Muscle cars are a part of their being.. I know I have many Muscle Car, Pony Car friends and family and they feel the same way.. You can call me whatever , but messing with my pride and joy is looking for big trouble. Now.. I don't want to scare off Muscle Car buyers, but its just a reminder , The breed Muscle Car carry alot of images for the public.. Not everyone like Muscle Cars, because they look aggressive, sound aggressive and demand attention parked or running the streets. Muscle car or No Car? Its a no brainier for me.. I love All Muscle cars... Mustangs, Camaro's , Chevele's , Chargers , Challengers, Nissan Z Cars, Corvettes, etc.. They all have to look and see how they perform. But to own and enjoy them  it takes  a personality that is willing to accept the attention your going to attract and the create. For those of us that engage in this , I applaud you, we are a small percentage of a growing population. Its a small crowd , but a proud one and I'm hoping My buddy Sal. just think twice or even three times before investing and getting into this Muscle Car crowd. Because I have seen the best Muscle cars from around the world,, Germany , Japan. I spent 6 years watching drifting before it became popular in the states, and I have driven the AUTOBAHN IN GERMANY in break neck speeds, as well as the FAMOUS NASCAR INTERSTATE 15 -- TO VEGAS .. doing 120 + and scaring the hell out of my family members.. Like I said,, If you don't like to drive fast and attract attention and not willing to spend extra for all the modifications a true muscle enthusiasts wants and desires.. I suggest you buy another car with less performance wants and needs. The ownership of a Muscle Car / Pony Car are simple.. The additions/ subtractions,, after market stuff is never ending and to be honest, your never ever really done modifying your HOT ROD MUSCLE CAR., I know , it seems once I do something to it, Its like I want to do another thing. It cost  alot $$ an demands alot of time.. But I'm retired now,,, attending school and watching my kids grow up. I have the time. and a little money to throw around.. But let me say this.. For Me .. MUSCLE CAR OR NO CAR? ITS SIMPLE.. I LOVE MY MUSCLE CAR BECAUSE IT SPELLS A DIFFFERENCE MAKER , A STAR ATTRACTOR, A DIFFERENT KIND OF CAR OWNER.. I have seen all the so called luxury cars and the gas mileage kings.. safe , dependable and such.. I already did that. I owned those throughout my navy career.. Now in my mid life crisis I want to be seen in style and be hated r such.. because deep down inside us.. Muscle Car guys and gals.. We love the idea we are misfits, the street outlaws ,the outsiders to the car community. Most people don't care for Muscle cars  because they see us as loud , proud and aggressive street hogs,, that we are! But we also admire other Muscle Cars and respect those that restore and keep the Muscle Car hobby going.. So , Sal.. I hope I made it clear.. to you Muscle Car is a different breed and you need o be prepared because its a lifelong journey that for alot of us.. Never gets old and we never tired for the need for speed. I plan to drive fast forever,, or until the Great Man upstairs says it time to join Muscle Car heaven.. In which , I can only imagine the kind of Muscle Cars are there!!! For Me its Muscle car or No Car!! for sure and I hope for a few of you around the world.. You too, can be a Muscle Car guy or gal.. and enjoy the journey and passion we have for the Muscle car/ Pony Car breed... I want to salute all Muscle Car enthusiasts because I enjoy all the face book postings and blogs I read every day about a hobby I enjoy and love sharing with everyone around the world. From Germany to Japan,, to California to New York.. There is nothing like taking a ride in a classic or late model Muscle or Pony car.. Its a feeling like no other.... Its not only a feeling but a way of life.. Muscle Car or No Car , ? You decide for yourself.. I did , and I'm a Muscle Car geek forever!!!
