THE SOURCE'S NFL HALL OF FAME PICKS 2014..
Here are my picks for the upcoming Hall of fame Induction ceremony. First off, its so difficult to define hall of fame credentials these days? I mean back in the day it was simpler i think, But players and great players are in abundance. For me,, the criteria is 1) you must have been elected pro bowl/ all star etc.. for atleast 5-6 seasons,
2) You made impact to the game either by your dominance or style of play- in other words teams players had to game plan for you.
3) Must be consistent throughout career.
4) lastly , your peer respect you and say your one the best players in their time.
Thus here are my 5 finalist from the current list of 15.

1) Charles Haley-He has been waiting for so long and during his time , he name and the teams he played for were the best of times, I dont understand what he may have said or done on the past, but it seems this pick is long overdue and well deserved..
2) Walter Jones-He was a amazing protector for the seahawks back on the day, but in todays age ,, offensive linemen are so overlooked, But they are greatly apprecated by QUARTERBACKS AND RUNNING BACKS.. He deserves to be in and I expect him to be there!
3) Derrick Jones-Another great player from the Tampa Bay Buccaneer championship team, I see him joining warren Sapp as one of the great Buccaneers to be part of the truly elite hall of Fame..
4) Tim Brown-Mr Raider, and was one of the pioneers of the throwing offense, he had the skills as a catcher , run after the catch and kick returner, he was the ultimate professional , and is well deserving and I expect him to be inducted.
5) Andre Reed- Mr Bill, he was an amazing receiver during the glory days of the Buffalo Bills, he needs to join Jim Kelly , because with out him Kelly would not get the numbers and records he set during those champonship runs. Four straight Super Bowls.. Thats impressive and Probably never happen again. These are my picks and I feel these men should be the fnalist. I know I picked two wide recievers and no coaches or owners , but I see these as the most deserving but the Hall of Fame process is a hard one ot figure and all or none of my picks could appear.. It can easliy be Tony Dungy , Ray Guy , Michael Strahan, John Lynch.. Ed Bartolo Jr. which is not a bad set either , But I'm set with my picks,, What are your,,Its going to be fun when its finally announced tonight Feb 1,2014.
