FIT FRIDAY - THE COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER FITNESS..
Well its Friday May 2, 2014. Lets get fit for this summer. For those who haven't worked out for awhile.. Check with your dr.. and when you do start slow.. The problem some of us ,, do is start too fast and strong and we hurt ourselves.. take a break,, then start again. Its better to be consistent and steady than fast and furious. remember health should be a happy habit and not neck breaking. For me. I do a lot of cardio,, dancing, martial arts punching bag , bicycling.. as for weights I do a little , but don't like the stiffness or soreness I get after the workout. I prefer stretching yoga and flexible limbs than big muscles with no endurance. Just me.. I rather have muscles small and can work longer , than having big showy muscles wit no endurance.. Its been my motto or frame of mind since I was young kid.. Well I urge all of you to just get up take a day walk or a nighttime walk,, Strength while your watching your favorite tv show,, and just do what makes you happy.. Me.. I do my cardio at home and LA fitness.. Sometimes I need inspiration at the gym.. if you guys know what I mean.Nothing like eye candy right..?? look but don't touch.. concept.. well anyways.. The weather is great and summer time clothes are coming back. so I suggest we all get up and work out and look good for the summer.. My goal,, Look and feel good by July 4th 2014.. I know that's some 60 days or so away. But I feel by having a consistent work out plan.. we all can do it..
My workout schedule
MTWTHF- 2 hours a day.. cardio.. treadmill/ boxing / bicycling.... dancing --
Every other day I lift weights -- arms- chest - shoulders - back -.. I alternate workouts and I use a lot of reps and sets.. than low rep and sets.. I increase weight when it becomes to easy.

I also stretch out before after the workout
Get plenty of rest and hydrate with water.
My challenge to all my face book family and friends is go out and start a program and be fit for this summer and for more summers to follow. I know you will feel and look better and become the healthy you,, Now get up and start and Lets see what we all look like in 60 days!!! Get up and do it.. Until my next blog.. Take care always..
