NISSAN 4X4 TRUCK.. CRACKED WINDSHIELD. AUG 4,2011..
 What a week , but what a day, I return to work , only to find my windshield has a long crooked crack from the top of the shield half way down the center, and like a dum ass I tap it with my heavy hands and create a longer and more visible crack.. Boy I was pissed. I mean I have had the worst luck with windshields and car windows on navy bases, It is a trend or do i have enemies? Whatever the case , I spent the whole day with papa in south San Diego , and it was tiring, I mean pops likes to talk and talk,, and I wanted to take a nap.. But I'm happy the windshield got replaced , I mean it was faster to replace it then to try to fix a long and crooked crack on a 4x4 truck.. I mean I did take it off roading the other day,, But I didn't notice any cracks , but it probably started as a small one and exploded as the heat it's over 100 degrees in the Temecula valley and I have my air con on all the time.. Lessons learned I guess , But i need to get a rock deflector placed on my hood to help prevent damage in the future, or better yet don't go off roading.. Something always gets broken or scratched when i do that. But for those who have never had their windshields replaced , it's like I have a new truck , my field of vision is alot better and its so much more clear to see. Heck , I've owned my truck for nearly 7 years,, and it was my first damage to the windshield.. My other cars suffered alot more cracks and damage than my truck, but then again My truck has only recently been a daily driver.. Oh well , it's ready for Charger fest tomorrow at THE Q, I cant wash my truck for 24 hours, so my dirty , yet new windshield truck will be displaying the Charger flags and the Charger songs blasting on the stereo.. in the Parking lot.. My wifey is gonna finally going to attend with me and I'm hyped about that.. oh well ,, another drama filled day .. until the next incident take care and be careful driving !!
