CHARGER FAN FEST AUG 6, 2011.
 ok, first off I woke up late and got their kind of late , and went to the wrong gate or line, sorry Marty , No autographs , plus they only handed out 2,000 wristbands.. not cool Chargers bosses.. Oh well I saw alot of energized fans 10,000 plus for a sat practise.. Not bad.. 
  I took a picture of cool truck with charger flags and lights.. and saw a low rider , did not take picture , had time restraints or other appointments with wifey,.
 But anyways analysis of practise session..
 To be honest boring, no long passes completed and no long runs,, Mathews is strong but not quick or fast enough ,, to break away. I like his aggressiveness , but his decision making or cutting ability needs work. Tolbert is a beast,. hes gonna be hard to tackle.. But didn't get enough touches to see his skills.. 
 The wr's JACKSON , CRAYTON , TUTU looked good,, No gates , that concerns me,. and no Vincent Brown,, Why,, ? Well the Bolt offense is a complex scheme to learn, so Im guessing he's not thoroughly comfortable or the COACHES feel he's not ready. To be honest , I think he's too skinny and not physical enough yet. Anyways I like the Bolts wr corps.. As for the Special teams.. I like Scifres and kaeding is good in practise.. I'm a bit concerned that the Bolts are relying on alot of young , guys to do special teams.. that's what ruined our season last year and that could kill us again this year.
 On defense,. I saw no pass rush, and I feel a bit skeptical that these old guys Spikes and sanders will be able to last a season against the strong runners they are going to face this year, Peterson , Charles , Mcfadden , Moreno , Ray rice, but time will tell? 
 Final analysis - the offense without gates and sproles looks boring and lacks excitement. We better hope Gates is able, that's Rivers safety blanket , with out him , defense will double cover Jackson and Floyd and that leaves Crayton , who is a quick and fast runner , but not physical. The defense , did nit dominate the line of scrimmage and the corners were good , but with no pass rush,, thety will get torched.. The Chargers are hopingh that lady luck and a healthy year from thier starters will get them through , because they gonna need everyone on track playing thier best if they plan to do well in the playoffs.. Expect the Patriots - Steelers , Jets , Colts , Ravens to be there and guess what? The Chargers have not done well with any of those teams , except the Colts, and The Bolts will have to go to cold temps to face those other teams... The best bet , win alot of games , be the No#1 seed and have the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP in sunny San Diego . Anything else could spell the same old story for the Chargers , close but no Superbowl berth. This team is good , in fact better than the 94 Chargers team that made it to the Bowl game.. But lady luck, healthy players and team work is what gonna lead this team to the Superbowl.. Anything is possible , No one except maybe die hard Packer fans thought they would win it all. They got on a hot streak, and had all their star players , healthy at the right time.. and of course played their best football at the end of the season.. This is a copy cat league..
