The Charger Analysis .2011...
   ok,, I loved the cardinals game , and for some weird reason , because of our defense and our quick score offense , I see alot of games ending this way.. Unless , Ryan Mathews gets his act together , what do I mean, Like fumbling.. he's reckless and what bothers me the most is , when he fumbled , suddenly he goes to the trainer on the sideline. like saying.,. I was injured . hurt.// Guess what Ryan.. Expect big guys to Punch you , grab you , land on you,, and if anything you must play hurt .. You idolized LT , that guy played through groin injuries , hamstrings ,. broken ribs.. and constant hits I mean , for awhile he was the chargers offense until Drew Brees came along and of course Philip Rivers.. Ryan, you must step up this season, not just run hard and be durable , but you have to learn the offense. Know who to block and and when to make cuts and take off. The blocking will make you friends with the QB, IF Rivers is comfortable with you , he's going to ask for you to play.. But I feel he's not comfortable with you in there , that's why your not in there on 3rd downs.. Plus to be honest Tolbert is running harder and making gains on most of his runs.. He also knows how to block and looks so comfortable catching and running with the ball. I hope you step up and be that main guy ,, All the fans want to see, I know its a pain in a half to follow a future hall of famer and you will be compared to him. Its unfair and unjust but you came after a legend.. The Fans of San Diego were spoiled by greatness and when they don't see it anymore. they get restless .. It even happen when LT , lost a step and wasn't his great self.. and before you knew he was gone. Just like Sproles.. and just like you if you dont step up.. I like your style and I think you have potential , but you must have better ball handling skills and make better reads of defense. too many times I see you run into blocks or make the wrong move into tacklers. Other times I see you almost break it , but this is the NFL .. almost doesnt count. Because of this passing offense,. you will get a spread out defense.. You must take advantage !! I hope you will and I know you will , just relax and play the game.. With Tolbert the power runner and you as the speedster , you will keep defenses honest , and with that passing offense , I believe is the best or one of the best i the league.. I see offensive fire works.. But the formula is pass to take big lead , and Run late in the game to protect lead , and keep our defense rested .. If that happens.. I see a good run in the playoffs and perhaps that long awaited appearance in the Super Bowl.. Oh,, we also need to win the turnover ratio and play 100% better on special teams. I see record breaking season for the offense.. I see Rivers passing for over 5,000 yds and watching Gates , Jackson , and Floyd get 1,000 yds each , and Tolbert , Mathews, Crayton , Tutu, Brown,, Mcmicheal getting the remainder of yards.. I also see tolbert and Mathews rush for over 1500 yds combined and controlling games , by running late. I also predict Bob Sanders getting the comeback player of the year.. I see Cason become a star.. and Kaeding finally get the monkey off his back .. I see a new feel and new attitude and with that folks.. I see a different result this year.. Leap of faith.. a sense of urgency.. A time to come out!! But like anything else.. we must stay healthy , get lucky , start out fast,, beat some elite teams.. and get home field advantage, and our chances are very good. Norv Turner has finally the team he wanted and the players he wanted for his system and now its time to let this team be bullies. Take the lead early , build a lead and finally run , to kill the clock and protect the lead and of course resting our defense. The running game is a work in progress , but our passing is ready to explode.. The defense, will be good and the play of Sanders and Spikes and of course the front three , pushing the opposing line back will give our secondary chances to make plays , like picks,, because opposing QBS will be running and throwing in hurry to avoid hard hits and sacks.. The Chargers and a handful of NFL teams have a chance to win every game they play because of their talents and skills and abilties.. What will help all those teams is winning the turnover battle and having running attack to protect leads late in the game and protecting defense for the playoffs and Superbowl game.. I believe the Saints and Chargers have the most explosive offense in the NFL.. and oh what a story that would make ,, Mentor meets Student , former team mates.. Brees and Rivers.. and Sproles.. That would make a incredible angle and story...and what  is my pre season early pick as the early SUPERBOWL PICK.. SAINTS VS. CHARGERS... until the next Sport story.. THE SOURCE PRODUCTIONS @ 2011..
