   Well its that time of the year, and Oscars time,, Well I'm not going to get into deep technical observations and analysis on who is going to win.. I'm just going to make my picks with quick reasons why..ok

Best Picture : "Gravity" its the most talked about movie and it has the right amount of drama and popular appeal that will get the win.. I know the artsy fartsy critics likes " 12 years a slave. But I'm tired of seeing movies win that no one other than the critics have seen.. It might win and it would surprise me....Its that kind of a year..

Best Actor; Matthew McConaughey -  It seems to always have that special twists in roles,, and has that leading man look and style.. he's in a movie that unknown to to the masses, and it might hurt his chances of winning, My wild card pick is Christian Bale.. 

Best Actress- This is a tough pick we have some players here Streep, Bullock and Amy Adams from American Hustle , but I feel that Cate Blanchete , is do for a win and makes an emotional speech and display the class and respect she deserves or her performance. Sandra Bullock has probably her best performance ever in her career , but timimg and the competition level,, is why she misses out !
My pick is Cate Blanchete

Best Supporting Actor- Jared Leto- Dallas buyers club.. He will be the first males from the same movie to win Best Actor and supporting actor and of course , make people want to see these movies.. Hollywood knows how to market movies..

Best Supporting Actress- The J's have it.. Jennifer Lawrence , Julia Roberts or June squibb, All OF DESERVING and we all know they wont split the award.. so what about Lupita Nyong'o from 12 years a slave.. She is young in the industry , but if you performed well , then you deserve it , But this is Hollywood... My pick is Lupita Nyong'o ..

Best Director- Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron- Well liked and respected and great film.. 

As for the many other awards,, who really cares? Its too much to think about, and to be honest these are the big ones,, What are your choices,, and lets see who knows their Hollywood thinking better?? 

It should be fun and I'm looking forward of seeing that raw emotion one would get winning an award ,, for something you love to do and get paid millions to do it.. What a night ,, Are you ready to enjoy!!
