Tuesday Tips - Shopping for Tires. March 11,2014.
My tips for shopping for tires, First of all I used to be a loyalist stay with the same co,, But you know what based on experience that's not always the best deal.

1) Look for specials. flyer's , Internet coupons.. Always look for the best best for the tire you want.
2) Well this should of been first , but anyways, Know the size you want and why you want that size,
Do you want the looks , or are you concerned about mileage or in my case the speed rating. Since i have a muscle car the speed rating has to be high , because of the excessive speeds I like to drive.. 
3) Research the brands you want, narrow them down,, and decide based on reviews or their reputation. Just remember , if it has a reputation for good quality , expect to pay. I know a tire is a tire. Its not.. I know the difference and you will too, with the rough and not smooth ride.. The younger you are , it probably makes no difference. But the older you are you want comfort and luxury even for a muscle car.
4) Stick to what you want , don't let the salesman sell you what you don't want,, You know your needs and income. But when it comes to tires you are investing in your life.. Bad tires, blow outs can and will be dangerous.. 
5) Ask for discounts, sales and if your military mention it. I mean ,, It doesn't hurt and you may get something, If you don't ask,, most times they wont say, In other words be an informed shopper and be aggressive in what you want , how much it is and what types of services the tire shop provides.
6) Ask about flat repair services, warranties , and wheel alignment - tire rotation deals,, Its seems like alot to ask. But its important to have the best set of tires , with the essential services and warranties around.
7) Lastly , Read what you sign and make sure you understand all the services and warranties available, Do I have a suggestion. ? I'm planning to use Family Tire Pros in Lake Elsinore, 
Why? They offered the lowest priced tire for the needs I desire and they have all the services and warranties I was Looking for. I also enjoyed the conversation and knowledge of the salesman and most of all they had a real good special. The offer was too good to resist for the tire I needed. I know it seems like alot of work just for tires. But for the special, high performance car that I own, I wanted and will always desire the best products for my vehicle.. I hope this helps you in your next tire search , or just opens up your mind for other services you may need and the questions that will arise when you search for a tire company or oil change services. Its your car and most of us spend many hours in traffic ,, haha. No but you deserve to put the best tires for your safety and peace of mind.
