Happy Labor day -- in honor of the Pullman Strikes 1880's
Ok, history lesson , Labor day was created because of labor unions that were created and the killings the US federal govt committed during the Pullman strikes. President Grover Cleveland proposed the Holiday as a reconciliation of those killed by the US Military and MARSHALL'S..
The first official Labor day observed was Sept 5, 1882 In New York. But became Nationally official 1894.
