THE SOURCES NFL AWARDS 2013..

MVP - MOST VALUABLE PLAYER - Remember this award doesn't go to the best player , but the most valuable or most impactful player on a team.. My choice is Adrian Peterson.. He had one those years that was simply amazing.. Very similar to the LT MVP year in 2006 .. Adrian was yards away from being the season leading rusher off all time.. Its impressive because everyone knew he was getting the ball most of the time.. I mean The Vikes were nothing if Adrian didn't do his thing.. and whats impressive is that he had a career threatening knee injury last year.. Amazing.. and whats more amazing.. Adrian Peterson got stronger as the season wound down.. He was punishing tacklers late in the season and playoffs.. What he meant to his team and what he did was simply carry the vikes on his back and made them a play off team.. I know Peyton Manning had a MVP type of year.. But really? The broncos made to the playoffs with Tim Tebow.. and Manning did the same.. sure coached up his players and the broncos did play better , But the bottom line is.. Manning and tebow went the same distance.. in the playoffs.. No where . so No Manning.. Had a great year but not MVP.. 

COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR- Ok.. This is tricky because Peterson and Peyton Manning both had career threatening injuries and both played at exceptional levels.. But Knee injury to a runner is more severe than a neck injury to a quarterback? I know the rehab were both painful.. But think about it.. The knees is what makes you move and as a runner you have to be a beast.. and Adrian was that and more so.. Not only did he regain his power and speed , but nearly set a NFL RECORD.. Now that's amazing.. Sure Manning put up career numbers , but not NFL record breaking like Adrian.. and Adrian took a non playoff team and made them a playoff team/  Manning took a play off team and return to the playoffs with a better record and play.. But failed to deliver.. But based on the injuries and what impact the player had on a team// I would say Adrian Peterson again.. But I see Manning Getting the award because the NFL.. doesn't want two awards going to the same person,. Even though he deserves both awards..

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR--RG III . RUSSELL WILSON OR ANDREW LUCK.. What a year for rookie QBS.. probably better than any other year in the NFL..They made major impacts and put their teams in the playoffs.. But I have to say Russell Wilson.. Should and deserves the award. He was the most consistent and durable of all three and turn around a average team into a powerful playof team to reckon with for the next few years. The seahawks were amazing to watch and Wilson knew how to run and motivate his tea. His leadership and his flair and concern for his team mates were contagious and that's why his team did so well. He was not only their quarterback , but their leader and the inspiration. They fought hard for him , because he gave them everything he had on every play. He wasn't the most marketed or publicized athlete.. But he was in my book.. RUSSELL WILSON IS The ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AND SHOULD WIN THE AWARD if the NFL knows what they are doing and I feel they will give him that award. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR--REALLY people? Its no doubt JJ WATT of the Texans was a beast and amazing player.. He was so diminating and disruptive on so many plays that teams game planned around him. He is a impact player that to be honest should be in contention for MVP.. but defensive players seldom get that.. And wit the near NFL RECORD BREAKING YEAR ADRIAN HAD.. its not going to happen this year.. Manning had a incredicle year as well as Brady..But JJ WATT is the DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR. hands down.. If he doesnt get it.. Then the NFL.. is a bunch of fools. This award is his and no other player is even close..

COACH OF THE YEAR.. I KNOW.. Pete Carrol did a fanatastic job with Seattle , but I like Jim Harbaugh.. His decision to bench San Diego's own Alex Smith and put in Kaepernick was genius and changed the whole fortunes of the Niners.. I kept saying for years.. The 49ers are a quarterback a way from being SUPER BOWL CHAMPS..That singular move and other coaching adjustments is why the Niners are in the BIg game and going to shock the world.. winning thier 6th super bowl.. The kid has the looks , the desire and the fight to inspire his faster , stonger and more talented team to win it all,, JIm Harbaugh Coach of the year... and SUPER BOWL WINNING COACH..

THE NFL has the awards show this saturday Feb 2nd. 2013.. Lets see how well I do.. ?!?!
