THE AFC AND NFC CHAMPIONSHIPS -FINAL FOUR! JAN 23,2011

NFC Championship Game :
Packers at Bears- The Packers were dominating on defense and everyone is healthy, They are playing the best football of all the teams remaining in the playoffs. Are they the best? On paper yes, but remember , especially this year , It doesn't matter the Vegas odds , or the injury report or talent or even Coaching skills. The team that wants is and plays their hearts out without making mistakes win the game. I see Aaron Rodgers , if protected will pick a apart the Zone defense  the Bears like to use. But Do I expect the Bears to do that? No , I expect exotic blitzes and disguising of coverages and letting Julius Peppers run wild. But the problem is Aaron Rodgers can scramble and find time to throw the ball to open receivers and he's the White version of Michael Vick, He has scored many tds as a runner. But has concussion issues One big hit could throw him off his game. Expect the Bears to come after him. But I don't see it happening , I see the Packers winning easily.

Jets at Steelers- The Steelers have been so inconsistent this year , sure  they won their division and beat the ravens two out of three times. But I see issues with the steelers, the offensive line is hurting and Big Ben will be running for his life. The Steelers need to get the run game going or Big Ben is going to have tremendous pressure to take over this game , He is a winner and is a playmaker , difference maker. If this game is low scoring and close , expect Big Ben to have one of his late game winning drives to secure a victory. But I see the younger , more hungrier Jets making Ben look average, remember this Jet defense made two of the games best quarterbacks look indecisive and frustrated. Big Ben hold on to the ball to long and because of that I see quite a few sacks and perhaps turnovers that will change the direction of the game. The Steelers have a very good defense , but I don't think they have the corners to cover the spread out quick pass offense of the Jets. If they the Steelers try to crowd the line to stop the run. Expect Sanchez to throw to his sure handed quick receivers for long gains. I know Polamanu is back but I dont think he's 100 % and I expect the Jets to throw to their Tight end to test if Troy is ready to tackle and handle a full game of hard hitting. Just a thought or hunch  I feel from watching him play. My upset special of the playoffs The Jets win a close , low scoring game decided by the time of possession advantage they will have and the turnover advantage they will impose.

Final thoughts:
The Packers defense and Aaron Rodgers accurate and precision passing will be too much for the over achieving Bears.

The Jets with their aggressive and innovative team defense will confuse and cause one too many turnovers for the Steelers and Big Ben to overcome. It will be hard hitting and emotional , but the younger and stronger and healthier Jets will beat the Proud , but inconsistent and older team. Big Ben is a great player but he can't do it alone. The Jets will play better as a team and will win a closely contested game.
