Montgomery Aztecs - hang out ..inspired story from someone back then...

Montgomery Aztecs- hang out - inspired story from someone back then..
Hey classmates , are you enjoying the flash back into the past , here's another spot , remember ? Ok.. After football games , alot of us.. would get in our cars and head to Chula Vista , Broadway's - Roberto's a taco shop that had windows all the around the restaurant , so you could see everything outside. It had benches with tables outside. It was a cool place to sit by your car , play some jams or sit on the table and look at the girls inside.. Rose , Soly , Darlene , Diane , Joanne, Myra, Diane,Joyce, Kathy, Janie, Marie, Grace, Eileen, < ok , maybe the names are not right but you get the idea . We or my group Joe, Jonas, Fred , Alvin , Jerry , Ale, George, Roger , Virnie, would show off doing either martial Arts moves or the popular pop locking moves.. Alot of the times it was just a way to hang out after a game and maybe get a word with one of the many pretty girls that attended Montgomery. I might be giving too much credit to the girls at my school , but I will say back in the day our lady Aztecs would out look any of the girls from southwest , bonita , Chula vista , Sweetwater,, Hilltop.. We had and will always have the prettiest , coolest and at times the toughest girls around.. Not saying I saw alot of girl fights , but when they dud do their stuff , bar none they were ther best fights .. Why? Girls just fight , dont care how they look , no bull shit , just grab hair, punch faces and rolling to the ground . yea,, vicious./. Not like us. guys . We pose alot. we talk alot , push and all that. I mean some of the fights were lame, but the reputation of Montgomery was unjust. Sure , we had the perception of gang land school . because of the fights. But on most cases, we were a good group , and we had many great students. But as kids with raging hormones and uneven emotional states , of course your gonna have conflicts. But because we were a multi-racial school , I feel we were better apt to react and respond to the real world. So, goes Roberto's Taco shop , it was ours to claim and we all knew after the games this was like out unofficial hang out. Not only that , the burritos and tacos at this place has a fond place in my heart. The laughs and the posing by the girls and boys was hilarious , we all wanted so much attention from each other. We wanted to impress each other so much , we wanted to express ourselves so much. I know our sports teams were not very good during our time , but our parties and our gatherings were one of a kind. I enjoyed the excitement of who was there or where to go to next was always the thrill. The many parties we all attended during our high school days were fantastic. Whether it was the keggers with the white boys and girls. or the over the top food at Filipino parties.. or wild Mexican music parties , I will always cherish.. But I believe what was important to all of us , is that we all loved one another and were so protective of our school and our classmates. Sure we fought and made fun of each , but when outsiders talked shit,.especially at sporting events , we were very vocal and supportive of the Mighty Aztecs.. I know alot of wish those days lasted longer , but alot of us also wanted to start our lives and careers and find ourselves. Based on the many FACE BOOK , friends I realized everyone enjoys the recollections of all the memories I can recall and that I get reminders and requests.. I hope this stroll down memory lane was enjoyable and brings about more images that are truly yours. I want to thank my fellow Aztecs and Mayans that enjoy my journey through memory lane and even for a moment imagine if.... until the next story take Care .. The Source Productions @2011.
