 NFL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND SPIN - JAN 24, 2011
  First of all the favorites won their games AND order has been restored somewhat in this year of the unpredictable. I mean we have the leagues MVP candidate in Aaron Rodgers , who can throw and run almost as well as any other QB IN THE LEAGUE. When you watch him , its like watching Joe Montana of the 49ers , just picking apart defenses and running at will to drive defenses crazy. Then You have the Big Mac Truck in Big Ben who not only throws well but can run when ask to and can evade pass rushers to get that extra time to throw to the open receivers. Time and time again watching that game , he always found time and connected on so many plays. The Jets simply ran out of time and energy. The Steelers not only dominated , but beat up the so called trash talking bullies of the NFL. I know I said the Jets would win, but I had sentimental rooting cause for LT. Wow, LT , once again does not have a great game and didn't really contribute to the outcome of the game.  As for The Packers and Bears , that game started out to be a route and with the Injury of jay cutler and his inability to play , Lovie Smiths decision to play Todd Collins was horrible and a waste of time. Only when he went with the unheralded rookie Chad Haney , did the Bears make a comeback and oh what a story that would have been . Think about it  a 3rd string no body , coming off the bench and winning the NFC Championship game. That my friends would of been historic and of course hollywoodish ending. But reality settles in and what we have is two very good defense and two very good if not great quarterbacks with outstanding skill sets , but different in the way they approach and play their position. Rodgers is the strong armed accurate passer that can run to yards. While Ben is that strong , scrambling QB that runs when he needs to and is a load and a half to tackle. The results are alarming. Big Ben doesn't or will ever have sparkling stats , but he wins,.Two Super bowls and a chance to win a third , in a season he didnt even play in the first four games. He may not look pretty but his is effective , kind of like a heavyweight champion back in the day Rocky Marciano , undefeated , not pretty when he fought , but when the time came to step up , he did and thats why he was undefeated like Big Ben in Superbowl appearances. I know Las Vegas has placed Packers as the favorites , but I see the Steelers winning thier 7th Super bowl,,. Amazing..

Final words: I believe Lovie Smith has made his last coaching stand at Chicago.

The Jets will recover and make another run at the title , but LT time to win the Superbowl is closing , not because the Jets are going to be bad , but I see LT , not having the health or skill set to stay on this team. When he had a chance to score that TD , he want even close. Some Players just never have the luck to win that Big Game . Barry sanders , Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, LT. But they all are great players and worthy of Hall of fame credentials.
