   Quick overview- I wrote this as a attempt at poetry or reflective thought, My mama passed away Dec 3, 1997, and it changed my life and my view of the holiday season forever! I wrote this to reveal my thoughts I had this day..
   
   Be thankful you have a loving mother that watched you play football or other activity you loved..
because I don't...  
 Be thankful you have a father who praised you and loved you..
because I don't...
   Be thankful you have child hood friends..
because I lost mine in accidents or gang violence...
  Be thankful you have a simple life,
because I don't , the foes i knew will haunt me forever..
  Be thankful you have a loving family..
because my real brother have abandoned me..
  Be thankful you found peace in your life..
because I don't have peace...
  Be thankful that you are happy in your life..
because I'm not...
  Be thankful you are alive and well..
because I'm not...
 Be thankful God loves you..
