NFL DIVISIONAL PLAY OFFS JAN.15-16, 2011..

NFL DIVISIONAL PLAY OFFS JAN 15-16,2011.
Saturday Jan 15, 2011 games..

Ravens at Steelers- This is the rubber match both teams winning one game a piece. This is going to be the hardest hitting and closest game of the weekend based on past meetings. These two team have nearly split the games played and the points scored by both teams are identical. The difference is home field and the two time Superbowl Winning Quarterback Big Ben, he may not have the eye popping stats lie a Peyton Manning or even Tom Brady , but when it's crunch time and his team needs a winning drive he comes through and I expect his team to keep the game in range for one of his game winning drives and another shot at the Super Bowl. Steelers win and play the Patriots in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!

Packers at Falcons- What luck the Falcons draw on their first playoff game in years playing a very hot team like the Packers, Aaron Rodgers is having a great season and looks every bit a franchise winning quarterback. The Packers defense has matured and blossomed under Dom Capers and they are the most dangerous team in the playoffs. But I see a ball controlling , time consuming offense by the Falcons to control time of possession and limit Rodgers opportunities. Turnovers could decide this game if one team makes those mistakes in the Red zone. I see the Falcons winning a tight close game decided by a long , time consuming drive late in the game to secure a Falcon victory. Falcons win and play the Bears in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME !

Sunday Jan 16, 2011 games.

Seahawks at Bears - The Seahawks played the game of their lives last week and made history , but don't expect the ball controlling Bears to make as many defensive mistakes as the Saints did last week. I see the Bears , running the ball and controlling the clock and limiting Seahawks offense to short passes . because of their aggressive line play . Julius Peppers will be a force the Seahawks have to be worried about. The Seahawks also don't play well on the road. I see a low scoring game , with the Bears winning it with ball control offense and a aggressive defense. I also can't imagine Matt Hasselback and the Seahawks putting together back to back consistent football. They didn't do it in the regular season ans I don't expect it against the Bears.. The Cinderella season ends for the first year Coach Pete Carrol and the losing record NFC WEST CHAMPIONS.

Jets at Patriots- Once again a rubber match between two very good teams. I favor the Jets defense over the talented by young Patriot defense. But Tom Brady and his young team will be tested , its a different intensity level in the playoffs and those young players of the Patriots need to step up. The Jets were a game away from the Super Bowl and I feel they are a better team than last year. The Patriots are undefeated at home and The Jets are 6-2 on the road. The key who is able to dominate the line of scrimmage and play their game. The Jets lost one of their star linemen , that is enough of a break down , plus Cromartie inconsistent play at corner that will do the Jets in,If I had to depend on a game winning drive late in the game , I trust the Brady Bunch to come through, than the inexperienced , young Quarterback Mark Sanchez. I see the Patriots winning a defensive low scoring game decided by a turnover late in the game and Brady taking the opportunities into a game deciding score. Patriots win and will host the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!

Final thoughts: Big Ben comes through and plays well on the field , even though popular opinion says he's a bad guy of the field!

Former Charger running back Michael Turner gets a shot a the Super bowl , and another heart breaking loss for  future Hall of famer Ladianian Tomlinson.

Seahawks Cinderella season ends and Jay Cutler and Bears defense make a statement with dominating win.

The Jets Running game will do well , but the inconsistent , unfocus corner back play of cromartie will be exposed and Brady will take advantage enough to win a close game.
