Montgomery Jr. High School Dance..back in the day..
Ok, back in the day angel flights slacks , the tight nylon shirts, the long black feathered back hair and yes I'm talking about guys. But when girls wore the same clothes or similar it just made u wonder ? In fact , I know now we were gay. I don't mean in a homosexual way , but in a feminine looking way. Check out the yearbooks of that era, all the guys had that feathered back hair , in fact I d say alot of the guys look better than the girls , why ? we were slim , fit and had long beautiful hair.. ok enough of that..
Back to the dance scene, well of course dance day s always the most exciting or stressful because the guys were wondering what chicks were going and we all wanted to show off , especially me, I love to pop lock , which is a rhythmic almost robotic but smooth way of dancin,, ok.. Ken and I are always showing off and coming up with moves to do at the dance..
ok,, I get there , and I see all the girls on one side and all the boys manning the walls, the music is loud and i , ready to dance.. problem is.. all they guys are afraid and the girls are too. So what do I do , I ask one of the popular girls ,, Divina , she's cool because she's new and extremely pretty and shy. But Of course , I like to draw attention to myself.. so we dance. of course I show off , but what surprises me is that shes a awesome dancer, not a pop locker , but a still awesome dancer.. I love it and together make the Jr High dance live and kickin.. Everyone , well almost , jumps in and we have a great time.. Probably the best I ever had,. of course I do my routines with Ken , but the fact I met the new pretty girl in school and we dance the night away.. Then of course the rumors fly and the comments " Cutest couple!" etc ran around, but in a sense I think that's why we never really hooked up.. It was too " perfect>" TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! so we remained friends during our time growing up , but we never or at least I did , never made it more than just friends and to be honest ,, it was a good thing. Because I ran through or dated so many girls from my school and local schools around , Southwest , Bonita, Sweet water that I really never found that one girl.. But for one special night under the cool south San Diego moon light we had a dance of a life time , and I really enjoyed our dances together and the " BUZZ " we created at the dance and school.. As you can tell I love the attention and always look for it.. Well until the next story,,Enjoy memories of Jr, High dances.. TheSOURCE P..RODUCTIONS@2011
