POPPIN AT MONTGOMERY JR HIGH ..

POPPIN AT MONTGOMERY JR HIGH.. back in the day.. Mele Mel..
Back in the day , when I was a skinny long haired kid who loved to showoff and entertain a crowd especially young attractive girls.. ok.. imagine a bright sunny day in South San Diego , it's between classes, u remember , the bell rings and everyone has 5 or ten minutes before the next class, well My buddies decide to bring out the BOOM BOX - with our dance tunes , More bounce to the ounce ,, remember? ok,, so Ken ( my cool black brother) and myself  set the tone, we are in the lunch area , and we blast our tunes, and we start the show , first Ken with his wiggling precise poppin movements and then I jump in with my splits and quick pop lockin moves and a wiggle which became my trademark, it's kind of a zig zag movement while moving my hands up and down my body.. ok, of course the fine looking chicks are watchin and the homeys.. But guess what ? yes everyone , meaning the whole school was late to their class.. Yes,, We get our boom box confiscated and we are lectured by the assistant principal ass hole,,, for disrupting class and causing a ruckus during school time. This is our how many times doing this and the school officials are upset , and of course suspend us, but nothing happens ,, to us. We just practise some more and do it again and again,.. Yes,, back in the day we used to be a head ache for school officials.. but a entertaining side light for my fellow students and girls we were trying to impress.. did it work. of course,, But is sure wasn't cool staying after school , called detention.. but guess what we did? yup ,, bring out our boom box and entertain my fellow detainees,, and of course the student teacher aide who loved our dancin.. Did we ever learn ?? no , but it sure was fun back in the day , holding up students and being the talk of the school. was it cool. maybe not , but it was one of the moments in my childhood I will never forget and hopefully you can imagine even for a moment how the hell it was , being in school with the pop locking fighters from Montgomery Jr. High School..  oh those were the days.. Until next time.. Enjoy ! The Source Productions@2011..
