USS PELELIU - FIRST DAY ON BOARD-
 First off , we are in post deployment stand down period, so hours are 0630-1200- YES , on a ship I have 20 people in S-8 /S-9 division - takes cares of material parts and mail. We did both today , 5 pallets of parts some heavy DLR's , and 3 trips Of 20 MAN WORKING PARTY , taking mail form QD to Mail room. It took most of the morning to get this done,.Plus I got most of my check in done.. Why? They have big plans for me. We have alot of check outs and first classes leaving the division. My sponsor LS2 Blevins has been very helpful and letting know about who the workers are and who I have to get on.. hmm. why on my first day, well actually when I reported yesterday on Sunday , he said your gonna be the LPO , / ALPO - the title will go to a first class that doesn't know anything , huh,, my luck,., I always get this shot every sea command. Ok, well today , the funniest moment i guess is when this dirt bag , unshaven white dude, not being racist , but he was terrible and I let him have it along with MA1 - and my sponsor , I mean he cut the line , in whichwas standing in for over a hour. I didn't care he's getting out, I'm checking in and I'm gonna do something special here at this command. At least I feel really good about this place. But let me warn you  they are haters on the boat. One chief yelled at me and my sponsor about not walking on a mat that was covering a passageway.. ok.. here we go.. i let it go.. But when another chief got upset because i stormed up in the admin line , because I saw this dirt bag getting service before me.. yes, aggressive, but for those you have been to sea , it;s the only way to make it. Being nice , goody to shoes,. ain't gonna fly.. Oh well , once I forced my way into the office, the same Chief got upset because I sat a desk reserved for disbursing clerks,. handling cash cards and pay stuff. But once again, I defended myself, because he's damn first class told me to sit there,,. man ,what a set up.?. And jeez,, i filled out so much paper work , initial here, date here,,. sign here , not here, Admin paper work is a pain in the ass. I'm glad i didn't take that rate when i first joined , or I will probably be out of the navy.. Too many crossing the T's and dotting the I's , the poor PS got upset with me , because I kept making mistakes ,, Oh well. I didn't care,, right? well my sponsor was getting restless, Finally done , I left and went to see the Master Chief of Supply,. I took a deep breath and said my story, about how close Ive been to making first and how I know my stuff and have been given the chances to be LPO , but because of anger issues and alcoholic issues , had my duties removed form me twice in my career, They say stuff like that doesn't affect you , but for some reason I know it does. Well , he seemed to be interested and encouraged about how I carry myself and strongly suggested I get the IBS school at ATG 32nd st,, i said " yes,. I mean first day there and the next day go to school for the rest of the week. Yeah, this is a better command. ASD, i had to beg for a school. before they complied. But i must say running around the ship is a chore , up and down ladder backs , I have bumps and bruises because I misjudge the height of things , I know I will adjust but my feet hurt and ankles and arms. I mean the working parties today was harder than any or all the working parties I ever did at ASD. I mean , I being a show off decided to take the hardest position on the line , right on the brow on unlevel steps, in fact I ;m almost fell on my face trying to balance myself and carry a heavy item.. Action Jackson , a black bro, who likes to sing , immediately came to my rescue , than of course , ragged me out saying your first day and  you gonna kill yourself.. haha. Cool , I deserve that , but I need to learn up and catch up on the sea duty stuff and when my sponsor departs In march , and I assume his Assistant Leading Petty Officer positions,.look out . the source will speak his mind, but for a first day,. not bad beginnings.. But one thing that hasn't changed lunch food sucked.. Breakfast is the best meal and will always be on the ship , except on those rare days of steak and lobster tails.. yea, once ion awhile.. I also hate the shitty smell u get when you walk around the ship or pier.. Oh yeah, met up with LS1 Cortez,, he;s in S1 division , but wants to go to guess what ? Yes, My division. .. Oh well I see the ships schedule , a few under ways before going into a 6 month yard period , and West Pac next year, and before you know it I'm done with the Navy.. But for now , it's looks good , but I not looking forward to being underway - getting sea sick and  being stuck on a ship with people i don't like. I mean , I have pissed off a couple of people.. already.. But i don't care, because it's my last sea duty and final run. I plan to make this a trip and plan to share with all of my source fans,.. so get set for a journey.. and looking forward to tripping out those Marines, when they arrive,, They are gonna love me.. huh?
