  It's Jan 23,2011 and when I went to my face book account , low and behold a photo of the girls, I mean throw back , back in the day photo.. It blew me away, why? Ok.. feathered back hair like Farrah fawcett Majors, ok I'm dating myself but who cares? The Big eyeliners, the black and the blues.. are u kidding me.. They wore that ? haha, I mean , these days , that would be so out of date huh? But that's how we ran back then. I mean the guys had the long feathered back hair. How gay was that? But we all wore that hair style.. We all wanted to look the same , act the same , talk the same , everything.. Gross right? Oh no. I thought it was kind of cool , yeah we had the rebels in the group that wore the different clothes , and listened to to that different music, But the majority of us wanted to be so alike.. But I must say , cruising around school was fun. you remember. How we used to say hi,, instead of saying hi , like the White folks did, we did the head bobbing or the eye raising , or waving of the hands deal.. I mean the normal kids or the properly trained ones must of thought we were gand bangers flashing gang signs.. Maybe ,, at times. but not always right
haha. I think one of the classiest things we did as kids was just being together , sharing times int eh hallways .. talking about each other. making fun of each other.I mean the girls back in the day we very , whats the word, Independent and strong minded, us guys were Little bit intimidated by that , maybe that's why we didn't hook up or get together as much as we should of.. Or maybe we just had too much egos to admit that these girls , especially the younger class mates were hot . But we survived .. right. the teachers strikes, the running off to seaport village , orJ street Pier , Balboa Park, The Silver Que in Chula Vista.. you guys remember . The Pits,., where my white boy friends would party .. Back in the day the end of Palm Ave was a dirt area , where we dumped our trash and party until the morning, Now it's Housing called Palm ridge area.. yeah those were the days.. and by popular demand I will retell some of my stories about those days and places. But for now ,for today.I loved recalling those days with the cool girls , with the guys with the long hair , angel flight pants and tight nylon shirts .. gosh that would look so silly on us today huh guys?
